On commentary: Alfonso Garcia & Joanne 'JRO' Rodriguez

Garcia:
QAW faithful welcome to a sold out Oxford Arena for World Summit-a-go-go!  We are so happy to have you with us tonight for some world class wrestling and entertainment! By my side, the legendary Joanna "JRO" Rodriguez!

JRO: Thank you Alfonso! I cannot wait to call the action tonight!

Garcia: We'll be seeing Tex-Mex putting their careers on the line for a shot at the tag team championships! Tex-Mex say they've been overlooked for too long and this is their last resort to be seen! Such a shame that a talented tag team feels so underappreciated. And they have a point!

JRO: They do? I think Commissioner Bomb has the right idea! She's working to put on the best show possible and Tex-Mex aren't draws. It's that simple. I think its commendable that Lilly & Rose are willing to give them this limelight one last time and then they can move onto true competition in the form of the number one contenders, The Uprising!

Garcia: I strongly disagree!

JRO: Well, that's why you're here and not doing the booking! We'll also witness our World Champion Suzanne Brazzle taking on her protoge Helene Svennson with the championship on the line! Helene is here with her TV crew and she'll be hoping to walk out tonight as champion...

Garcia: And most importantly for World Summit we have our World Summit matches! Five-on-five elimination tag matches with big rewards for the survivors. Our main event tonight see's team captains Emma May and Foxxy Larue clashing... Well, Foxxy is injured but her team will be!

JRO: And our opening match which is about to start is a lucha libre dream match. The biggest luchadoras in all of Mexico have gathered under the leadership of Pinky Perez and Maribel Mercado, and are ready to battle it out for supremacy! Let's go!

Team Tecnica

"The Mexican Ace" Pinky Perez, Mariana Torres, Electric Dreamer, Ursula Saez & Estrella Blanca

Vs.

Team Ruda

Maribel Mercado, Purple Viper, Celeste Moon, El Hija Del Diablo & Queen Amazon

Pinky Perez and Maribel Mercado kick things off for their respective teams. The tension between them is palpable. Pinky uses her lightning-fast agility to evade Maribel's dirty tricks and lands a beautiful hurricanrana, sending Maribel reeling. Maribel, not one to play fair, attempts to use the ropes for leverage during a pinfall, but the referee catches her in the act and reads her the riot act. Pinky takes advantage and rolls her up for several close two-counts. Maribel retreats to her corner looking sheepish.

Electric Dreamer and La Hija Del Diablo are tagged in. Both women put on a typical lucha libre exchange that draws applause from the crowd. Electric's high-flying maneuvers garner the bigger reaction as she wears down Diablo. But, out of nowhere, Queen Amazon wipes Dreamer out with a lariat that turns her inside out. Diablo goes for the pin, but Dreamer kicks out just in time, much to the shock of Diablo and Amazon.

The crowd urges Dreamer on as she attempts a comeback. She uses Diablo's momentum against her and stacks her up for a pin, securing the three-count. La Hija Del Diablo is eliminated.

Purple Viper enters with a sinister grin, ready to unleash chaos. She stalks Electric Dreamer, preparing to blind her with her venomous mist. Dreamer narrowly dodges the mist attack, instead Viper inadvertently sprays her own partner, Celeste Moon, who was eagerly waiting on the apron. Celeste Moon is incapacitated. In the confusion, Electric Dreamer capitalizes with a swift roll-up on Purple Viper, eliminating her with a three-count.

Queen Amazon replaces Viper and quickly overpowers Dreamer with thunderous slams and suplexes. The odds seem against a tired Dreamer, but her determination shines through as she counters an "Amazonian Bomb" [Sit-out powerbomb] with another roll-up, but Amazon cuts her off and powers her up into another Amazonian Bomb, driving Dreamer into the mat for a shocking elimination.

Ursula Saez enters the match and trades clubbing forearms with Amazon in the centre of the ring. Ursula charges forward, attempting to shoulder tackle Queen Amazon, but the ruda powerhouse refuses to go down. Ursula rallies the crowd and takes Amazon down with a hard spear for a close two-count. Ursula works over Amazon but suffers a cheap shot from the outside from Celeste Moon. This momentary distraction is enough for Amazon to ambush Ursula and nail her with an Amazonian Bomb for the three-count.

An exhausted Queen Amazon tags out to Celeste Moon, who clashes with Mariana Torres in an aggressive lockup. Celeste fights with an almost unhinged aggression and batters Mariana with everything she has. The fight goes to the mat as Celeste seeks a rear naked choke. Mariana stays in the match and makes the ropes. Celeste refuses to break the hold, resulting in the referee having to intervene physically. In the commotion, Mariana lunges for Celeste's mask and seemingly rubs more of Purple Viper's poisonous mist into her eyes, leaving her helpless. Mariana hits a tight Fisherwoman's suplex and holds on for the three-count.

At this point, Maribel Mercado becomes irate and barks instructions at Queen Amazon to get back in as Mariana tags in Estrella Blanca. The two luchadoras put on a classic David and Goliath showing, with Blanca using effective hit-and-runs on the much slower Amazon. At one point, Amazon is sent over the top rope to the outside and is flattened into the barricade by a series of tope suicidas from Pinky, Mariana, and Blanca in turn. As Queen Amazon slowly gets to her feet, Blanca takes to the top rope, signalling a high-risk dive, but is shoved from the top rope by Maribel all the way to the floor below.

Amazon rolls into the ring as Maribel tosses a woozy Blanca into the ring after her, where she is unable to kick out of an Amazonian Bomb.

Pinky charges the ring this time and takes the fight to Queen Amazon, who is unable to put up much of a fight. Pinky hits a hard kick to the mid-section and looks to hit a powerbomb of her own but is interrupted by Maribel, who clocks her in the back of the neck with the COTT championship. The referee angrily pushes Maribel back into her corner as she barks instructions at Queen Amazon, and she obliges by nailing Pinky with an Amazonian Bomb.

--NO!

Pinky gets her shoulder up just in time!

Amazon sits there in disbelief for a fraction too long, and Mariana hits her flush in the face with a basement drop kick. Things break down further when Maribel chucks Mariana from the ring and proceeds to launch her into the steel steps multiple times. Back inside the ring, Amazon sets Pinky up for another Amazonian Bomb, but this time Pinky over rotates, landing on her feet, and retaliates with a stiff palm strike to the jaw. In an amazing feat of strength, she hits the Pink Butterfly Bomb [Tiger Driver] for the three-count.

Maribel becomes incensed at this elimination and pounces on Pinky, mauling her with punches and kicks. There is little Pinky can do to withstand the onslaught, particularly with Mariana taken out on the outside. Maribel pounds Pinky's face into the turnbuckle and decides to remove one of the pads for good measure, prompting the referee to snatch it away and attempt to reattach it. On cue, Maribel applies a Full Nelson on Pinky, and Purple Viper re-emerges and slithers into the ring. Pinky tries to break the hold, but Maribel has it in tight.

"Do it! Do it now!" seethes Maribel.

Purple Viper inhales deeply and sprays black mist. But, in that split second, Mariana pushes Pinky out of the way, taking the black mist in the face herself. Mariana writhes around in the ring, shrieking in pain. Pinky fires up and clotheslines Viper and Maribel to the ground. The referee tends to Mariana as Pinky hops up to the top rope, undeterred by what happened to her tag partner. In an amazing display of skill, Pinky lands a first-time-ever move in QAW, a Shooting Star press onto Maribel, and takes the victory home for herself and Mariana.

After the match, Pinky tends to Mariana alongside the referee, who is urgently pouring water into Mariana's eyes.

Winners: Team Tecnica [Survivors: Pinky & Mariana] 14:57
[57]
Decent match with little heat
Got the show off to strong start
Pinky stood out

Garcia: Mariana looks like she is in agony! That black mist must be lethal!

JRO: Rumour has it black mist is the most potent of them all... Hopefully she hasn't suffered any lasting damage!

Garcia: I do too! A big win for Pinky Perez and Mariana Torres as the sole survivors! You have to think this will play into their ongoing feud with COTT champion Maribel Mercado!

Commissioner Bomb makes her way out to the ring for an announcement. She invites the Fallen Angels to join her in the ring...

Debbie Rose, Kate Lilly, Suzanne Brazzle, Commissioner Bomb
Steph Blake & Christy Higgins

Bomb: QAW faithful, tonight, it is my pleasure to welcome you to World Summit! This is where the best and brightest wrestling stars from across the world come to Queens of American Wrestling to test their might. I am proud to be joined in the ring right now with QAW’s champions and the most dominant faction in QAW herstory—the Fallen Angels!

[In unison, the Fallen Angels raise their championship belts as Steph Blake folds her arms menacingly]

Bomb: Now, it is no secret that the Fallen Angels have a vision for the future of QAW, and their success and domination make for a compelling argument. So, in the name of progress, why not test their idea? In the absence of Farrah Hesketh, I have made the decision to commission a one-night special event next month, which the Fallen Angels will produce and book!

[The crowd cheers at first, but there is also an uneasy murmur— the Fallen Angels clap the announcement enthusiastically before Bomb passes the microphone to Suzanne]

Brazzle: It is my pleasure to announce that next month, QAW and the Fallen Angels will host "Ascension" right here in Texas! I have every faith that we will show each and every one of you that our vision of a new QAW, remade in our image, with our ideas at the forefront, is exactly what you want to see! You will all be converted to the cause.

[Suzanne smiles sinisterly as the crowd boos]

Brazzle: I understand you are afraid of change. You have grown accustomed to something that is substandard because you don’t know any better. The likes of Alina America, Danielle Sweetheart, Emma May, Tex-Mex, and Pamela Rojo have rotted your brains, and it’s time you tried something new! There is true talent out there waiting for an opportunity, so open your minds to the possibility that there is something better. Allow me to show you the way!

[39]
The segment got the crowd hotter

Garcia: Why on earth do the Fallen Angels need to produce their own show on QAW's dime? If they think it's so bad here then why not leave?

JRO: Leave? And go where? Thanks to QAW there is no other women's wrestling promotions left in the United States. The women's wrestling scene is in survival mode right now and we have to ensure we are appealing to as many people as possible! Not everyone wants to see this lucha libre, flippity-floppin g around and sad stories like Pamela Rojo and Danielle Sweetheart stinking up the place.

Garcia: I disagree! You can't say that about the women that built this company.

"Miraculous" Suzanne Brazzle © w/ Steph Blake Vs. Helene Svennson

The match began with Suzanne and Helene circling each other, their eyes reflecting a shared history and camaraderie. They were former allies, and their paths had converged once again. As the bell rang, they engaged in a technical display of chain wrestling, each countering the other's moves with ease. It was evident that they knew each other's styles inside and out.

Suzanne, having trained Helene in the past, had an early advantage, anticipating her former protegé's every move. She demonstrated her superior knowledge of Helene’s techniques, countering her signature armdrags and hip tosses. The crowd applauded the chemistry, even as Suzanne maintained the upper hand.

With a determined glint in her eye, Suzanne took the fight to the mat and eventually locked in a side headlock, trying to wear down her high-energy opponent. Helene, showing her flexibility, managed to escape the hold and countered with a leg-lock around Suzanne’s head. Suzanne maneuvered expertly and escaped the hold with a headstand, leaving Helen staring at her in shock.

As the match progressed, Suzanne continued her display of technical prowess, tossing Helene around the ring with suplexes. After a particularly nasty-looking one, Helene clutched her back in pain. Seizing the opportunity, Suzanne lifted Helene into a backbreaker, further straining her opponent's spine.

But Helene was not to be underestimated. She found an opening and, to everyone's surprise, executed a jaw-dropping dropkick, catching Suzanne off guard. The fans erupted in cheers as Helene unleashed a flurry of high-energy moves, finally landing a bulldog and a series of arm-drags that sent Suzanne reeling. It seemed as though Helene had managed to turn the tables and gain a surge of momentum.

As the contest entered its later stages, a sense of tension hung in the air. It was clear that Suzanne had grown frustrated with her former trainee's resilience, and the mutual respect that had defined the early moments of the match began to wane.

In a shocking turn of events, Suzanne decided to show her true colours. She feigned an offer of a handshake, but when Helene extended her hand, Michelle delivered a vicious slap across her face. The crowd gasped in disbelief as Helene clutched her face. Before she could retaliate, Suzanne mauled her with more slaps, forcing her into the corner. The referee intervened, and Suzanne backed away with her arms in surrender.

Seeing red, Helene charged forward swinging wildly but missed her target. With a handful of hair, Suzanne yanked Helen backward and spun her into the “Miracle Connection” [Michinoku Driver], driving the back of Helene’s head into the mat for the victory.

After the match, Suzanne gloated with the championship, calling attention to Helene’s camera crew and standing with her foot on Helene’s chest.

Winner: Suzanne via pin 14:17 -- Defences: 4

[51]
A match with decent reaction
Got the crowd hotter

JRO: Wow! With that impressive victory Suzanne is only just 5 defences, and 5 months, from achieving her goal of having the greatest QAW World championship reign of all time!

Garcia: Is a reign not also defined by the quality of defences and their conduct as champion? Suzanne has padded out her defences and regularly bends the rules to win!

We join Team Foxxy backstage in the promo area...

0tUOMbz.jpgwYxk6Nk.jpgdDRR0op.jpgyZaztBc.jpgtqndoWS.jpgSuVbDw9.jpgoZsMxSe.jpg
Ashley Keith, Hellcat Hernandez, Toni Parisi
Vinny Cruz, Foxxy Larue & Christy Higgins

Foxxy: Alright, now let's talk turkey, babies! I'm sweatin' bullets being on the sidelines tonight, but this team we've got, it's like a mixtape of pure dynamite. We got Ronin3, the baddest fighters you'll ever lay eyes on. The Fallen Angel and Shockwave Champ herself. The leader of the Clenched Fist and wrestling royalty! This right here, this ain't a gang. This is a full-blown revolution, and we're storming the castle tonight!

[Foxxy smirks]

Foxxy: Emma May, you've got a mixed bag of nuts on your side. … That pipsqueak Yuma Maruya? She's in for a real wake-up call when Tameka Sky takes her for a ride. As for Alina America, she's talkin' a big game, but after Hellcat and Ashley do their thing, she'll be wishin' she was back in fairy tale land. Juana Hurricane, leader of the least relevant faction in QAW – no wonder you're graspin' at straws. And last but not least Emma May herself… Abandoned by her squad. They all bailed on you when you needed them most, and now you're stuck with a ragtag group. You're outta your league, sister.

[Suddenly, Christy steps up and grabs the mic]

Higgins: And don't get me started on your mystery partner [everyone scoffs at the mention]. When I'm through with them, they'll be seeing stars after I slam their head into the mat with the Florida Upswing!

[Foxxy gives Christy an approving nod before taking the mic back]

Foxxy: That's right, sugar. Your mystery partner is just another sign that you're desperate. I don't give a damn who you've scraped together for your squad because tonight, it's lights out for Team Emma. Facts are facts, baby.

[54]
Foxxy performed and came across well, her catachphrase helped
Toni and Vinny had good chemistry, Vinny helped with the promo
Toni improvised well
Hellcat did a masteful job
Ashley performed well
Christy was superb, had the crowd in the palm of her hand
Compliements all around!

We join the commentary team as Pamela Rojo makes her entrance...

TtUc3j8.jpg

Garcia: Switching gears now, we're about to witness Pamela Rojo's final hurdle towards Suzanne Brazzle and the QAW World Championship. You can say what you want about Pamela, and I'm sure you're about to JRO, but she really has risen to Suzanne's challenge. She has defeated the submission expert Paige Croft. The longest reigning Shockwave champion Little Miss Perfect. And, the current Shockwave champion Christy Higgins.

JRO: Yes, she has momentum. But she hasn't risen to Suzanne's challenge entirely. And let's remind ourselves why Suzanne set this gauntlet in the first place. Pamela is not world championship material. She was used to usher in Suzanne's reign because that's her role in life. Much like Tex-Mex-- a supporting player. Now, she has become even more bitter and entitled. So, I agree, Pamela has to prove herself for this prestigious opportunity. And tonight, she has the biggest challenge to date...

"Red Alert" Pamela Rojo Vs. Gorgon

The arena was filled with a charged atmosphere, as the crowd anxiously awaited the reveal of Pamela’s mystery opponent. Unfamiliar music filled the arena but everyone in attendance exploded in cheers when the woman known as Gorgon marched out of the curtain. A colossal force in women’s wrestling and former champion in 5SSW, AAA, and USPW.

The match began with an intense stare down. Pamela Rojo, a symbol of QAW, met the formidable Gorgon with an unyielding spirit. The crowd watched in awe as these two titans squared off, each daring the other to make the first move. When the bell finally rang, it was clear that they were about to bear witness to an all-out brawl of epic proportions.

Pamela lunged forward with a fiery determination. She launched powerful forearm strikes at Gorgon then resorting to hard chops which Gorgon absorbed with a smile. With a simple shove Gorgon cut off the attack. Pamela went in again this time aiming to showcase her strength with a scoop slam. However, Gorgon’s power was undeniable as she did not budge an inch before smashing Rojo to the mat with a clubbing blow.

Gorgon’s dominance was evident in her every move. She executed thunderous chops that sounded like cannon shots and whipped Rojo around the ring by her hair as if she was a rag-doll. The crowd urged Rojo on but collectively winced when Gorgon hoisted Rojo into the air and drove her down with a ring-shaking Samoan Drop.

Yet, Pamela was not to be underestimated. Rallied by the crowd, she absorbed the punishment and retaliated at every turn with savvy. She adopted a hit-and-run approach, delivering hard kicks to Gorgon’s legs and running the ropes to gain momentum for clotheslines and drop kicks-- but still, she couldn’t get Gorgon off her feet.

Undeterred, Pamela powered Gorgon over with a suplex that shook the ring. The crowd cheered as both wrestlers lay motionless, Pamela breathing heavily. Finally, Pamela crawled over to Gorgon and lay across her for the pin, but Gorgon pushed Rojo off with her with such force at she momentarily took flight. The crowd was left in disbelief.

As the match reached its climax, Gorgon, appeared nigh invincible as she continued to muscle Rojo around the ring and mow her down at every opportunity. She countered Rojo’s “Big Red” [powerslam] attempt, a move that had sealed the fate of every opponent thus far, with a terrifying piledriver.

Strangely, Gorgon did not make a cover and opted to toss Pamela out of the ring instead where she proceeded to bully her around the ringside area slamming her into the guardrails and ring apron. Eventually, Rojo fired up and returned the attack and things deteriorated into an ugly and violent brawl.

As the referee’s count reached ten, signifying a double count-out, it was clear neither woman was willing to accept defeat. The continued their brutal exchange, slapping and punching each other with no mercy as security struggled to separate them.

Winner: Double count-out, draw 11:45

[53]
Decent match

eKkpfKa.jpg

The arena is in chaos as Pamela and Gorgon brawl mercilessly at ringside and then back inside the ring. Security is struggling to contain them, but both women are relentless. The crowd is in a frenzy chanting “Let them fight!”.

Suddenly, the eerie music of Suzanne Brazzle hits, and the crowd's reaction changes. The QAW World Champion steps onto the stage. She wears an unnerving smile...

TtUc3j8.jpgrSmL4u6.jpg86sny6U.jpg

Brazzle: Well, well, well... isn't this quite the spectacle!

[Suzanne addresses Pamela, who's locked in a brutal struggle with Gorgon. They're both briefly separated by security, but their eyes remain locked, filled with animosity]

Brazzle: (Sinisterly) Pamela Rojo, my dear, we mustn’t forget the rules, must we? You needed to win your matches, all of them, to earn a shot at MY title. But, alas, a double count-out… It hardly counts as a win, does it?

[The crowd remains hushed, captivated by Suzanne's chilling demeanour]

Brazzle: (Smiling) Fortunately for you, I am feeling diplomatic. I have a proposition for you. What are you willing to sacrifice, my dear Pamela, for the chance to face me?

[Before Pamela can respond, the stage lights shine on a shadowy figure, Steph Blake, who drags out a half-conscious Miss Mexico. Miss Mexico shows signs of a brutal backstage beatdown, and the crowd gasps]

AfiWhYQ.jpgwH6PneS.jpg

Brazzle: Oh, Pamela, it seems that we are not alone in this little negotiation...

[Steph Blake holds a pair of scissors menacingly close to Miss Mexico's signature red hair]

Brazzle: I've been thinking about my goals in QAW, and yours as well, Pamela. You are the "Queen of the Ring" unable to reach the pinnacle. The QAW faithful, they see you as a symbol of perseverance, of overcoming inadequacies. I understand that. You've embodied their hopes. But, for me to achieve my goals, I must extinguish that symbol. It's time for the QAW faithful to find new symbols, better ones, like me. So, you can have your match, but I want something in return—your hair. A poetic gesture, don't you think? You've had this defining hair for over a decade and I want to be the one that cuts it away in front of the QAW faithful. I'm going to embarrass you to the point the QAW faithful will never, ever, see you in the same way again. So at Ascension it'll be a "Hair vs. Title" match in the main event... And if you don't agree… well, then I might have to cut away your friend's hair instead.

[Pamela’s expression is a mix of determination and conflict. She nods in agreement and calls for a mic but suddenly, Gorgon, strikes from behind and lays Pamela out with the "Hydra Bomb" [Choke Bomb]. Suzanne’s eerie smile never wavers as her plan unfolds before their eyes]

Brazzle: I’ll take that as a yes. Steph? Cut it anyway.

[At Suzanne’s instruction, Steph cuts a large lock from Miss Mexico’s hair anyway and hands it to a gleeful Suzanne who clutches it in a fist and raises it in the air alongside the QAW World Championship]

[43]
Suzanne performed well

Steph performed well
Pamela performed well
Miss Mexico struggled

Garcia: That was one of the lowest things I have ever seen! Suzanne pretends she is this force of positive change but she is absolutely toxic! How was that any type of negotiation?

JRO: Suzanne IS a force for positive change. She's just secured an excellent main event for Ascension. Pamela needed to put something on the line to earn that match, and Suzanne helped her do that. I think it'll be a very fitting end to Ascension for Suzanne Brazzle to shave the head of such a QAW mainstay!

Lilly & Rose
© Vs. Tex-Mex

The crowed was on their feet for the high-stakes tag championship match. In one corner, the passionate QAW veterans Tex-Mex, with their careers hanging in the balance. In the other, the cocky champions Lilly & Rose.

Houston and Debbie started the match for their respective teams. The tension is thick, and Houston displayed unusual aggression to save her career and win the titles. She charged at Debbie, but Debbie flaunted her arrogance with a smirk and retreated to the ropes with each attack. After some stalling from Debbie, the pair engaged in a collar-and-elbow- tie up. The two women jostled for control, but it was Houston who pulled off a skilled arm wringer followed up with a short arm clothesline. Debbie found herself on the defensive as Houston smothered her on the mat and transitioned from one hold to another, displaying her years of experience.

Debbie, however, managed to break free with a well-placed knee to Houston's midsection. She capitalised with a quick DDT and proceeded to taunt the crowd, revelling in her advantage. Debbie tagged in Kate who came in like a whirlwind and engaged in a fast-paced exchange with Houston. Kate’s lightning-quick dropkicks and acrobatic reversals kept Houston on the back foot but she relied well on her hard-hitting style to create opportunities.

One such opportunity arose after Kate telegraphed a running cross-body and Houston simply forearmed Kate in the stomach leaving her crumpled on the mat. This allowed Teresa to tag in and Tex-Mex executed three double suplexes as Debbie angrily protested at the referee. Tex-Mex continued to built their momentum.

A pivotal moment came when Houston scored her signature “Houston’s Problem” pump kick, but due to being shorter than Kate, hit her square in the chest with such force that it sent Kate into the ropes and out the ring.

As Kate regained composure, Teresa dropped from the apron to get her back into the ring. Debbie sneakily introduced one of the title belts into the equation, unbeknownst to the referee. As Houston was getting ready to make her next move, Debbie swung the title back with precision, clobbering Houston in the back of the head.

The impact was jarring, and Houston crumped to the canvas, seemingly out of commission.

The referee, oblivious to Debbie’s tactics maintained her focus on the action happening outside of the ring. Teresa rolled Kate back into the ring who immediately tagged in Debbie who swooped in on Houston and made the cover to secure the three-count despite Teresa being a fraction of second away from breaking the pin.

Lilly & Rose quickly exited the ring and gloated from the entranceway with the titles as a distraught Teresa cradled Houston in her arms-- their QAW careers now over.

Winners: Lilly & Rose via pin 12:59 -- Defences: 2

[49]
Decent match

Garcia: I can't believe it! This is just... Awful!

JRO: I can! Lilly & Rose are simply the best tag team in the world and Tex-Mex were moronic in their challenge. They took a big gamble and it did not pay off! No one forced them...

Garcia: That is debatable! They did what they felt necessary to be given the respect they deserve around here in QAW.

JRO: Well, look at how that worked out. And now they are gone from QAW and new, fresher teams can come in and challenge Lilly & Rose. The only way is up!

Garcia: Have you always been this unpleasant?!

We join team Emma May backstage in the promo area...

Juana Hurricane, Alina America, Emma May & Yuma Maruya

Alina: Dearest QAW faithful, my adoring fans! It is I Alina America-- the face of QAW! And I am standing before you today filled with passion, ready to take the fight to the evil doers that plague QAW. Ronin3, The Clenched Fist, and Fallen Angels have made it clear they have no respect for the sport of lucha libre and QAW. If it were up to them QAW would be full of cheating, bribery and intimidation. I cannot stand by and allow that to happen to my beloved home. In my quest to take revenge on Hellcat Hernandez and Ashley Keith for what they did to myself and Danielle Sweetheart means I find myself in a situation where the enemy of my enemy is my friend... [Alina grimaces in Emma’s direction].

[Emma stops pacing and snatches the microphone from Alina]

Emma: Why do you have to be so dramatic all the time?! I don’t give a damn about whatever crap is being stirred up by the other factions. I care about three things: Winning, regaining my championship, and getting my hands on Foxxy Larue. Foxxy, you’re lucky I only fucked up your elbow the last time we met in the ring. Next time I get my hands on you it’s going to be much worse. Tonight, I have to settle for beating the crap out of your lackeys but believe me every second of the World Summit I’ll be picturing your face on theirs.

[Alina slowly takes the mic away from Emma who has turned bright red during her promo]

Alina: Okay! I think we get the picture! Now, let us prepare and retrieve our special guest. She should be arriving now.

[Yuma Maruya, who has not understood a word, steps forward beaming from ear to ear]

Yuma: Check it out!

[Yuma giggles and gives a thumbs up at Emma May who scoffs and walks away]

Team Emma May

Juana Hurricane, "The Face of QAW" Alina America, "World Class" Emma May, Yuma Maruya & Melody

Vs.

Team Foxxy Larue

"The Queen of Professional Wrestling" Ashley Keith, Hellcat Hernandez, Tameka Sky, Toni "New York" Parisi & Christy Higgins w/ "Ultimate" Foxxy Larue

The crowd popped huge for the debuting Melody. A former five time USPW Women’s World Champion who was already making waves in the independent scene capturing the FCW and PSW women’s championships. Melody looked every inch the superstar wearing a golden robe and she made a point to shake the hands of each of her partners.

Team Foxxy exchanged nervous glances in the ring as Foxxy threw a fit at Christy --“You must have known about this! Bomb is booking the matches!” she screamed.

As the two teams took their positions, Foxxy’s attention turned to Emma May, and the two got into a heated argument. Things looked they were about to get physical until the giant Tameka Sky planted herself between them.

The match begins with Yuma and Hellcat in the ring. They lock up in a traditional collar-and-elbow tie-up. Hellcat quickly overpowers Yuma and resorts to some dirty tactics, poking Yuma in the eye. Hellcat delivers a relentless series of punches, displaying an extremely aggressive side. Yuma manages to counter with a unique rolling savate kick, sending Hellcat reeling.

Yuma keeps the pressure on Hellcat with running drop kicks before tagging in Juana. She and Hellcat have no love loss and engage in a series of aggressive technical exchanges. Hellcat tries to transition into a brawl, throwing stiff punches, but Juana manages to secure a waist lock takedown, keeping Hellcat grounded. Hellcat counters with a head scissors, but Juana kips up and hits a basement dropkick for a two count.

Juana goes for her submission finisher, but Hellcat powers out and drags Juana into the ropes throat first. She tags in Christy Higgins. She quickly scales the turnbuckle and executes a top-rope hurricanrana on Juana. She goes for a cover, but Juana kicks out at two. Christy, oozing with confidence, taunts the crowd giving Juana valuable breathing space. Foxxy yells at Christy to focus but it’s too late and she walks into a snap suplex. Juana tags in Alina. Alina showcases her athleticism with a backflip elbow drop followed by a standing moonsault. Alina rallies the crowd behind her and finishes Christy off with a picture perfect lionsault.

A pissed off Hellcat charges in but Alina is ready with a dazzling roundhouse kick that sends Hellcat to the mat. Alina follows with another lionsault, but Hellcat narrowly kicks out. Alina continues her attack with a flashy spinning heel kick for another close call.

Emma May gets tagged in, and she enters the ring with a flurry of judo throws and punches. Hellcat manages to create some separation and tags in Ashley Keith. The crowd pops for this match up and the two women start exchanging chops, with Ashley gaining the upper hand. She launches Emma across the ring with a T-Bone suplex and follows with a rough looking knee drop to the face for a two-count.

Ashley keeps the pressure on Emma [as Foxxy trash talks Emma from ringside] but can’t resist playing to the crowd. Out of nowhere Emma locks Ashley in a flying armbar, but Ashley reaches the ropes before it becomes locked in. Emma rolls to her corner and makes the tag to Melody!

The crowd erupts with excitement as Emma and Melody execute a double suplex on Ashley, followed by a sharp kick to the back from Melody. This infuriates Ashley who gets in Melody’s face and the two women are nose-to-nose. Ashley focuses on power and tries to overpower Melody. But, Melody has fought bigger and badder women at this stage of her career and hangs in there. She shows off her agility with a surprising dropkick to the face that staggers Ashley. They engage in a technical exchange for several more minutes, until Melody catches Ashley with the “Melody Maker” [Back suplex pin], pinning Ashley and eliminating her.

Melody tags out to Juana leaving her to face former tag partner Toni Parisi, and the two women exchange stiff punches and forearms. Toni gains the upper hand with a thumb to the eye and brutal clothesline. She attempts a powerbomb, but Juana counters with a punches to the head forcing Toni to drop her down. Juana capitalises with a spear and applies the "Time-Square Lock" [Arm-trap Texas Cloverleaf], forcing Toni to submit.

Foxxy is beside herself at ringside cursing at fans and Team Emma who remain intact. However, Tameka Sky charges the ring and effortlessly throws Juana across the ring and begins slamming her to the mat with resounding thuds. Juana’s resilience keeps her in the fight, countering with sharp kicks here and there, but nothing that meaningfully halts Tameka’s momentum.

Tameka hoists Juana in the air for a delayed vertical suplex that rattles the ring. Hellcat calls for the tag, eager to gain a measure of revenge on Juana, which Tameka obliges. Hellcat mounts Juana and lays in hard forearm shots before locking in a Bulldog choke, putting immense pressure on Juana’s neck and back. The pain becomes unbearable, and Juana appears unable to respond to the referee’s questions, causing her to call stoppage for Juana.

Yuma replaces Juana but Hellcat opts to tag back out to Tameka. The size difference between the two women is visually arresting but Yuma is no slouch. Yuma stuck to high flying moves and attempted to bring Tameka down with a series of flying forearms and a head scissors, but Tameka’s incredible size was insurmountable.

Tameka catches Yuma mid-air and transitions into the “Sky High” Chokeslam. The impact is so severe that Yuma lays gasping for air. The referee counts to three, eliminating Yuma from the match.

With Juana and Yuma eliminated, the odds begin to even out. Emma takes the lead, attempting to grapple with the powerhouse Tameka. Emma does her best but Tameka defends using sheer power dumping Emma around the ring.  Alina and Melody realise they need to work together to tip the scales in their favour. Melody darts in with a quick dropkick to Tameka’s knee, causing her to stumble. Alina, seizing the opportunity, delivers a missile dropkick from the top rope to Tameka’s face. The giant teeters, and this is the opening they’ve been waiting for.

Melody and Emma deliver a double DDT, stunning Tameka and she falls to her knees dazed. Emma locks Tameka in a Triangle Choke and wrenches with all her might. The crowd cheer relentlessly for a tap out but Tameka amazingly powers Emma up and slams her back down to the mat. Both women are down but Emma makes the tag to Alina who is ready for her moment of glory. She ascends the turnbuckle and lands her signature split-legged moonsault on Tameka. Emma and Melody quickly join Alina for the pin, and Tameka is eliminated.

Hellcat is left alone against Alina, Melody, and Emma. The crowd is still firmly behind the tecnico team, hoping to see Hellcat get her just desserts. Hellcat spews venomous words at her opponents, taunting them. Despite being outnumbered, she refuses to back down.

Emma, launches a vicious takedown and maintains control with a barrage of ground and pound. Hellcat attempts to fend her off by reaching the ropes but Alina and Melody have her cornered. They deliver a dual superkick, rattling Hellcat. Melody hits an exploder suplex for good measure and leaves Emma to pick the bones by locking in an armbar. She has it in tight, forcing Hellcat’s arm to bend at an unnatural angle.

Hellcat, determined to resist, strains against the pain, but the hold is too much to bear. Hellcat reluctantly taps out.

The crowd erupts in cheers as Emma, Melody and Alina stands victorious, having defeated Team Foxxy in such a decisive way. Foxxy herself is distraught at ringside. She noticeably has sharp words for JRO on commentary alluding to The Fallen Angels withholding information about Melody’s involvement in the match.
