The broadcast opens with the lights dimming, and the eerie sound of a church bell tolls. New, ominous music plays signalling the arrival of Suzanne Brazzle, flanked by her loyal followers, the Fallen Angels. Suzanne takes the centre stage and addresses the crowd with a wide, unnerving smile...

Brazzle: You know, my dear fans, it takes more than just raw talent to be a champion. It takes winning mindset. The kind of mindset that I possess, and that each and every one of you should aspire to have.

 

[The crowd murmurs in unease, sensing something off about her words, but Suzanne carries on undaunted]

 

Brazzle: Some of you have been flooding my social media saying I only choose easy opponents to defend my title against. That I’m not really a true champion. Well, let me remind you, as the new figuredhead of QAW, I am the gatekeeper of this championship, and I will only allow the best of the best to step in the ring with me.

 

[The boos and jeers grow louder, but Suzanne ignores them, her voice rising in a sickly-sweet tone]

 

Brazzle: I’m not just here to defend my title. I'm here to make history. To cement my reign as the greatest champion this promotion has ever seen. And I won't let anyone stand in my way because I have sacrificed too much to get us here. Our livlihoods were destroyed when our beloved AAA was taken for us, and for what?

 

[The crowd boos louder, chanting "QAW! QAW!" which seems to momentarily disrupt Suzanne’s demeanour]

 

Brazzle: Oh, you can chant all you want, you poor sheep. But you can't stop what's coming. The Fallen Angels have taken matters into our own hands. The Fallen Angels have a new home in QAW. And we're not just here to make up the numbers. We're here to dominate. To show everyone what real wrestling is all about.

 

[Suzanne walks down the ramp and directs the Fallen Angels to block Lady San Juan and Miss Havana from exiting the ringside area, having just competed in a dark match]

 

Brazzle: But do not despair, children. I have decided that one of you are worthy of stepping into the ring with me. You will get to witness firsthand what it takes to be a true champion. So who will it be? Who has the guts to step up to the challenge? Who wants to face the greatest champion QAW has ever seen?

 Suzanne ordered her stablemates to the back except for her bodyguard Steph Blake. In the end Lady San Juan appeared to have won whatever discussion, or argument, to face the champion.

The match between Brazzle and Lady San Juan was set to be a clash of styles. Brazzle, a veteran wrestler with years of experience, had the edge in technical skill and she was confident that she could control the pace of the match and outsmart her opponent. Lady San Juan, on the other hand, was a luchadora with a lot of charisma and flashy moves in her arsenal. She already had a reputation for being an exciting wrestler, but she had not yet fully mastered the more nuanced aspects of the sport.

 

As the match began, Brazzle wasted no time in taking control. She used her technical expertise to ground Lady San Juan and prevent her from unleashing her aerial offense. Despite her best efforts, Lady San Juan was unable to gain the upper hand. She had just wrestled a match and was visibly fatigued, which Brazzle was quick to take advantage of. She taunted her opponent and played to the crowd, drawing heat as she easily dominated Lady San Juan, but the crowd soon grew restless as LSJ was clearly not going to win.

 

As the match wore on, Lady San Juan continued to fight back with bursts of athleticism and strength. She managed to hit a few flashy moves and get the crowd on her side, but Brazzle was always there to shut her down. In the end, it was Brazzle's experience and technical skill that won out, and she emerged victorious with a Miracle Connection [Michinoku Driver] to retain her championship title.

We cut to the backstage area. Honey Badger is lifting weights and Marie Punnen is practicing brutal kick combinations on a punching bag. Emma May paces back and forth in front of them, her jaw clenched as she stares daggers into the camera…

Emma: You know, I've been sitting here trying to figure out what the hell is going on. I lost my title to that backstabbing witch Suzanne Brazzle, and ever since then, I've been booked like an afterthought. And don't even get me started on Foxxy Larue. We had a match, we won, and then she decided to take me out. And now she thinks she's the number one contender? Please.

 

[Emma's tone grows more intense as she continues]

 

Emma: Well, let me tell you something, Foxxy. You may have gotten the best of me last time, but that was just a fluke. You're not even in my league. You're not even in the same arena as me. I noticed you dropped ‘diva’ from your “Ultimate Diva” brand… Might I suggest replacing it with ‘bitch’, instead?

 

[She snorts in derision]

 

Emma: I won that tag match too. And if you think you’re going to even attempt to stop me from clawing my way back to the QAW World Championship then you’re also the “Ultimate Dumbass”. I’m still the most dangerous woman in QAW. No one has pinned or submitted me for over a year. And I’m still “World Class” Emma May.

 

[Emma takes a deep breath and looks around at her stablemates, Honey Badger and Marie Punnen]

 

Emma: You two have been with me for a while now, and I appreciate your loyalty. But let's face it, I haven't been the best leader. I've been so focused on my own issues that I haven't been passing on advice like I should. And for that, I apologise.

 

[Honey and Marie nod, looking slightly mollified]

 

Emma: I'm going to make it up to you. We're going to train harder, fight smarter, and take over this damn place, again!

As the Furies finish their promo and return to their workout, voices can be overheard down the corridor. The cameraperson follows the sound and discreetly peers around the corner to catch a conversation between Hellcat Hernandez, Felicia Luck, Selina Svelte, and Talia Quinzel...



 

 

Quinzel: So, do we have a deal?

 

Luck: You need to keep your voice down!

 

[Felicia looks around nervously, completely missing the camera. Hellcat keeps her burning gaze on The Uprising duo]

 

Quinzel: Why are you so worried? It’s not like you can discreetly provide us protection in our semi-finals match.

 

Luck: We know that but it’ll be harder to make sure you win if Storm Front gets wind of this.

 

[Hellcat steps forward, her presence felt more than seen]

 

Quinzel: What does Hellcat think?

 

[Hellcat says nothing, but her intense stare communicates volumes]

 

Luck: This is a one off because Hellcat wants to settle an old score with Juana. But she wants you to know that The Experience are winning this tournament.

 

Svelte: Is that so? Everybody has a price. I wonder how much yours is to screw your girls over?

 

[Hellcat steps up to Svelte, and Felicia and Talia quickly move to block any contact]

 

Quinzel: No offense meant! We’re just curious.

 

Svelte: When you help us get through to the finals of this tournament, we’ll test your little theory about The Experience…

 

[The Uprising hands over an envelope and leaves. Felicia counts the money and nods at Hellcat]

Maribel Mercado w/ Unstoppable Tai vs. SUPREME Yoshida


The match between Maribel Mercado and Supreme Yoshida didn't quite live up to the crowd’s expectations, due to the lackluster performance from Yoshida. However, there was no denying that Maribel was able to showcase her superior skills, displaying dominance across brawling, technical, and high-flying offence. Luckily, both wrestlers exuded charisma, which kept the match from being a complete bore.

 

Maribel, a cunning luchadora, relished in beating down Yoshida, and made sure to lure her into situations where her Clenched Fist muscle Unstoppable Tai could get some cheap shots in.

 

As the match reached its final moments, Maribel's rival Pinky Perez emerged on the stage to watch. Maribel seemed momentarily fazed by Pinky's presence, but she took back control of the situation by making it clear her finisher [High-altitude leg drop] was intended for Pinky.

 

As Maribel celebrated her win, Pinky made her way down to the ring. Maribel knew that Pinky was gunning for her, and took pleasure in ordering Unstoppable Tai to stand between them. This was enough to make Pinky think twice and she could be seen mouthing “soon” at Maribel.

Dharma Gregg is standing by in the interview area, microphone in hand. To her left is Alina America, brightly dressed, her arm in a sling. To her right is Danielle Sweetheart, the “Queen of Hearts”, who looks exasperated…



 

 

Dharma: So, Alina, how’s your elbow doing?

 

Alina: Oh, Dharma, it’s just terrible! I may never wrestle again! I can barely move it.

 

[Alina impotently pokes her arm as if expecting it to spring into action. Danielle rolls her eyes and shakes her head, but says nothing]

 

Dharma: I’m sorry to hear that, Alina. But… Do you really think it’s that serious?

 

Alina: I’m just so worried--

 

[Danielle interupts by leaning towards the mic]

 

Danielle: Alina, you only sprained your elbow. It’s not the end of the world.

 

Alina: [gasping] How could you say that, Danielle? You don’t understand the pain I’m in!

 

Danielle: [sighing] Look, I didn’t mean it like that. I just think you’re overreacting a bit…

 

[Alina clutches her chest dramatically]

 

Alina: Overreacting? Danielle, my career could be over!

 

Danielle: [trying to keep a straight face] You’re a tough cookie Alina, nothing is going to keep you down for long.

 

[Alina weighs up the statement momentarily before smiling]

 

Alina: You think so?

 

[Dharma seems amused by the exchange]

 

Dharma: I have to ask… I can never tell if you two get along? I remember interviewing you both last year and you didn’t exactly have kind words for each other…

 

Danielle: I think Alina and I are two sides of the same coin. We really do hold similar values when it comes to competition and what is right. Last year, things were tense, but in my opinion Alina has a problem with me. Not the other way around.

 

[Dharma turns to Alina for reaction; but she is dramatically staring into the distance with the back of her hand against her forehead]

 

Alina: You are a good person, Danielle. But, I have never forgiven you for ending my first run with the title. I had set the record for most defences! And you went and added insult to injury by breaking my record AND becoming the longest reigning champion too!

 

[Alina clenches her fist and shakes it at Danielle]

 

Danielle: Well, I’m not going to apologise for that. But, I think time is a healer and we’re wasting our time dwelling on the past. You and I are the heart and soul of QAW and we should be working together, because if we don’t, the likes of the Fallen Angels and Ronin3 will be running wild. Lets tag together one more time and I promise you we’ll have a better outcome this time.

 

Alina: Very well, Danielle. We have a deal!

 

[Alina goes to shake Danielle’s hand with her injured arm and grits her teeth in pain]

 

Danielle: Just use the other arm!

Tag Team Number One Contender Tournament Quarterfinals

Shrieking Harpy [Harpy & Banshee] vs The Experience [Ava Anderson & Lily Snyder] w/ Bossman Brayfield


As soon as the bell rang, Banshee charged towards Ava Anderson with reckless abandon, and Anderson was quick to retaliate with a series of strikes. After brawling around the ring they tagged out to their respective partners.

 

Initially caught off guard, The Experience struggled to find their footing, and Banshee and Harpy took advantage of their opponents' mistakes. However, as the match progressed, The Experience's veteran instincts kicked in, and they began to bend the rules to gain an advantage.

 

In the end, it was the Rock'n'Rolla finisher that sealed the victory for The Experience. Anderson landed a devastating superkick on Harpy, knocking her into Snyder's bridging German suplex, and the referee counted to three.

Winners: The Experience via pin 13:44

The Uprising [Selina & Talia] vs. Storm Front [Juana & Sonnaz]

 

 

Sonnaz, eager to prove herself under the mentorship of Juana, starts the match against Selina; she exhibits glimpses of potential brilliance but occasionally shows hesitancy and moments of uncertainty. In contrast, Selina exudes an unrelenting aggression, unleashing a barrage of strikes and targeted attacks to exploit any weakness she detects. Sonnaz finds herself on the receiving end of Selina's calculated assault, struggling to counter the ferocity of her opponent.

 

Juana helps Sonnaz navigate the match from the apron, providing guidance and support, eventually resulting in a tag. Juana's ring awareness and technical proficiency enable her to create openings and turn the tide in her team's favor whenever possible.

 

However, the true star of the match emerges in the form of Talia Quinzel. Her physicality and commanding presence captivates the audience with each devastating move. Talia's utilisation of her size advantage allows her to execute an array of backbreakers.

 

As the match intensifies, the contrasts between the teams become even more apparent. Storm Front's chemistry is tested as Sonnaz's inexperience hinders their coordination, while The Uprising's slick and calculated teamwork allows them to maintain control and capitalise on their opponents' weaknesses.

 

 

Chaos erupts at ringside when Felicia Luck makes her way to the ring with a steel chair. Before her intentions are made clear she is intercepted from behind by Alexis Lee Littlefeather and is dragged kicking and screaming to the back. As everyone is fixated on this, Hellcat Hernandez emerges from beneth the ring, her fist wrapped in a metal chain, and clocks Sonnaz in the head. The referee doesn’t spot it and Selina swoops in and locks in her scissored armbar submission “The Svelte Scissorlock” [Fka. Prawn armbar]. Sonnaz is already unconscious from the chain shot and the refereee immediately calls the match. 

 

As Juana checks on Sonnaz with great concern, The Uprising stand tall with their arms raised. 

Winners: The Uprising via submission 15:52

Sonnaz was the weak link struggling to keep up.

We find ourselves backstage where the QAW World Champion, Suzanne Brazzle and the QAW Shockwave Champion, Christy Higgins, are talking outside the Fallen Angels lockerroom. They are quickly interrupted by Little Miss Perfect desperately seeking their attention…

LMP: Um, excuse me, Suzanne, Christy. I... I was hoping to talk to you both.

 

Christy: What do you want now, Sarah? Can't you see we're busy?

 

Suzanne: It’s okay. What's troubling you, my dear? Speak up, don't be shy.

 

LMP: Well, you see, Suzanne, Christy... I... I still want to believe we're friends. We worked together in AAA. I know you didn’t include me in your Fallen Angels plans because I was already here… But…

 

Christy: What you mean is you burned bridges with everybody here, and now you think the Fallen Angels are your only chance at friendship?

 

[LMP wells up with tears]

 

LMP: I-I know, Christy. But I don’t have anyone else. Whatever I did to upset you? I’m sorry. I’m begging you, don’t turn your back on me completely.

 

Suzanne: Oh, you're quite the interesting case, aren't you? Tell me, what makes you think you deserve a place among the Fallen Angels?

 

LMP: I... I'll do anything, Suzanne. I'll prove myself. Just give me a chance. I know I messed up, but I can change. I can be loyal, strong, and dedicated. I can be a true Fallen Angel.

 

[Christy subconsciously clutches the Shockwave belt]

 

Christy: She’s a liability. We don't need someone like her tarnishing the reputation of the Fallen Angels.

 

Suzanne: Christy, dear, I'll be the judge of that. Little Miss Perect, you're right. People deserve second chances, and it's time for you to prove yourself… Christy has a match against Pamela Rojo at Capital Clash, and I think Commissioner Bomb would be moved by your request to take on Pamela Rojo next week. It would be a real confidence boost for Christy to see you win ahead of their match.

 

LMP: Thank you, Suzanne! I won't let you down. I'll show you that I can be an asset to the Fallen Angels!

 

Christy: [Under her breath] Unbelievable...

 

[Christy side eyes Suzanne as LMP walks away with a glimmer of hope]

We shift to Commissioner Bomb’s office; Bomb, known for her devious nature, is sitting behind her desk, engrossed in her work when The Line: Ash Grover, Teresa Perez, and Houston Handley, barge into her office, frustrated and determined...




 

Ash: Commissioner Bomb, we reckon we need to have a serious talk with ya. We've been more patient than a Texas sunset, but we're dang tired of bein' kept in the shadows!

 

Teresa: Sí, Commissioner. It's been a solid six months since we've had a chance to shine on the main show. We've been giving our all in them dark matches, and it's time you give us the recognition we deserve!

 

Houston: You see, Commissioner, we've been ropin' and ridin' like true champions, yet you're treatin' us like we're just tumbleweeds blowin' in the wind. You left “Tex-Mex” out of the tag team tournament?! It ain't right, and it ain't fair!

 

[Bomb grins mischieviously]

 

Bomb: Well, well, well, if it ain't The Line, all fired up and ready to raise a ruckus for once. But--

 

[Ash standing tall, interrupts Bomb]

 

Ash: Commissioner, we're callin' out this situation. There have been rumours that you're behind Farrah Hesketh's removal and the rise of the Fallen Angels. And now it seems like you're deliberately keeping us away from the main show, trying to erase Hesketh's legacy.

 

Teresa: We've seen the way you've favoured certain individuals and manipulated things to suit your own agenda.

 

[Bomb leans back in her chain, not giving anything away]

 

Bomb: Aren’t you a spirited bunch today. But let me make one thing clear: I’m the one who makes the decisions around here. Maybe when Farrah was around you got some favourable treatment yourselves! But in this business there are "main show talent" and "warm up acts". And in my expert opinion? You’re a warm up act. And that’s why you’ve been in dark matches.

 

[The Line are momentarily stunned until Teresa steels herself]

 

Teresa: We’re two time QAW Tag Champions [gestures towards Houston]. You can try to keep us in the shadows, Commissioner, but we won't be ignored. We won't back down until we get the opportunities we've earned.

 

Bomb: Don’t get me wrong! I’m open to finding a resolution to this issue. So, lets see if you can prove yourselves worth of that main show spotlight. How about a match at Capital Clash?

 

Ash: We're more than ready to show you what we're made of, Commissioner.

 

[Bomb smirks, enjoying the confrontation]

 

Bomb: Well, let me find you some opponents! And consider this your chance. Show me what you’re truly made of. But remember, actions speak louder than words, darlings. The balls in your court now.

In a fast-paced and hard-hitting contest, Skye Hermosa, accompanied by her CZCW ally Kira Lee, challenged for the Shockwave Championship. A reward gained through the COTT alliance after her shocking victory over USPW-alum Tiffany Jade.

 

From the opening bell, Christy controlled the match with underhand tactics that left Skye struggling to find an answer. Skye, known for her agility, attempted to gain momentum with high-flying maneuvers, but Christy shut them down through her ring awareness which allowed her to counter with impactful brawling and calculated aggression.

 

As the match reached it’s climax, Christy delivered the Florida Upswing [Sliced Bread #2] that flattened Skye to the mat for the three count.

 

 

Winner: Christy via pin 09:44 – Defence 2

Singles Match
 

 

"Miss Perfection" Fuyuko Higa vs. Millie the Minx

In a one-sided contest, Fuyuko Higa, demonstrated her dominance over the hesitant Millie the Minx. From the moment the bell rang, it was clear that Fuyuko was in control.

 

At the bell, Fuyuko wastes no time and charges towards Millie with lightning speed and unleashes a series of blistering strikes. Her kicks find their marks, crashing into Millie’s chest and ribs, causing her to stagger backward gasping for breath.

 

As Millie tries to regain her composure, Fuyuko drags her into a couple of snap suplexes, before hoisting Millie into the air and dropping into a brutal brainbuster that garners a big reaction from the crowd as Millie’s body folds into the mat. However, Fuyuko does not go for the cover and opts to maintain her dominance with a relentless ground game. She locks in a tight armbar, torquing at Millie’s arm but opts to release the submission and it this point it becomes clear she is treating Millie as practice.

 

For the rest of the match, Fuyuko toys with Millie transitioning from move to move, taking Millie to the limit and then backing off. Unfortunately, the crowd don’t rally behind Millie and start to grow bored of Fuyuko’s antics; she tries to get them back into the match but it isn’t enough.

 

With a final burst of aggression, Fuyuko delivers a devastating spinning backfist that connects with Millie’s jaw. Not content with just one strike, Fuyuko lifts Millie to her knees and finishes her with a thunderous roundhouse kick that echoes through the hall. Millie crumples to the mat and Fuyuko makes a lazy cover.

 

Winner: Fuyuko via pin 07:59

We find ourselves back in Commissioner Bomb’s office where she is seated behind her desk, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. Across from her, Foxxy Larue crosses her legs with a confident swagger...

 

 

Foxxy: Look here, Commissioner. I've busted my ass for that world championship shot and it's high time I get what's rightfully mine.

 

Bomb: Foxxy, I understand your frustration. You think you deserve that title shot, and you’ve got a point. But you see, we have to be cautious. There are... Delicate matters at play here. Things that could disrupt the balance we’re trying to build. You wouldn't want certain secrets to be exposed, would you?

 

[Foxxy’s confident facade falters for a moment]

 

Foxxy: I hear you loud and clear, Commissioner. But let's not forget, we did each other a favour. So, in my book, we're even.

 

[Commissioner Bomb raises an eyebrow, silently emphasizing the favour she's holding over Foxxy]

 

Bomb: I see! Now, with that said, let's not get ahead of ourselves. I understand your desire, but I have to take everything into consideration. Your record last year was, well, average at best. And this year, a tag team victory? Impressive? Sure. But it takes more than that to earn a shot at the top.

 

[On cue, Emma May barges into the office]

 

Emma: Looks like the meeting started without me!

 

Foxxy: Who invited you?

 

Bomb: Emma, you always have impeccable timing. We were just discussing the complexities of championship opportunities.

 

[Foxxy and Emma exchange glances, tension building between them, but Commissioner Bomb quickly steps in, asserting her control]

 

Bomb: Ladies, let's remember the consequences of trashing my office. A suspension, perhaps? Now, I believe there's some unfinished business between you two.

 

Emma: Unfinished? Oh, you bet. I've got a receipt with your name on it.

 

[Emma cracks her knuckles, a smirk spreading across her face]

 

Foxxy: Girl, you think you can intimidate me? Think again.

 

Bomb: So! Both Ronin3 and The Furies haven’t lost a trios match this year. You are the respective leaders of these factions. So how about at Capital Clash we see which faction is the better one!

 

Foxxy: Please. We won’t be sweating “The Flops”. Ever. You clowns are running around acting like you’re MMA fighters but can’t tell the difference between an Octagon and an Octopus. Facts are facts.

 

Emma: This coming from the woman who single handedly ruined QAW's most famous faction of all time? I mean, how did it feel getting bitched out by The Line all year?

 

[Foxxy and Emma square up but Commissioner Bomb gets inbetween them]

 

Bomb: Now, now, ladies. Save the fireworks for Capital Clash; You'll have a chance to settle the score and prove your worth. And after that, well, let's just say the world title shot might become a more viable conversation for one of you.

Ronin3 [Tameka & Toni] w/ Vinny Cruz vs. "The Queen of Hearts" Danielle Sweetheart & "The Face of QAW" Alina America

 

An intriguing main event sees an intriguing match up. The monstrous newcomer Tameka Sky; billed at 6’7 [closer to 6’2 but it’s pro wrestling after all] looked set for a big impact after her debut in January but was quickly derailed with an injury after just three matches. She was representing Ronin3 alongside the tag veteran Toni Parisi against Alina and Danielle.

 

The match begins with Tameka Sky asserting her dominance, her towering presence intimidating even Alina America and Danielle Sweetheart. Tameka's raw power and size advantage become evident as she effortlessly tosses her opponents around the ring, executing thunderous slams and bone-rattling clotheslines. Alina and Danielle find themselves outmatched, struggling to find an answer to Tameka’s overwhelming strength.

 

However, Alina and Dani refused to back down. Alina, with lighting-fast agility, finds openings in Tameka’s inexperienced game. She springs off the ropes with hit and run attacks. But gets caught in attempting a hurricanrana and Tameka reverses the momentum sending Alina spinning through the air landing in a heap.

 

Toni barks instructions from the apron and tags in to pick the bones. However, Alina gets an early hot tag to Danielle who gets into a brawling match as there is no love-lost between them. Danielle scores an array of suplexes and a textbook DDT for a close 2-count.

 

As the match progress, the contrast between Tameka’s power and Alina and Dani’s combined experience and technique becomes more evident. Alina and Dani utilise a cat-and-mouse game, evading Tameka and executing double-team maneuvers, targeting the legs and chopping down the tree.

 

At one point Vinny Cruz tries to get involved but he is quickly taken out by a drop kick from Alina. Inside the ring, Dani showcases her power and hits a resounding spine buster on Toni, before transitioning into a ground-and-pound assault. Her strikes find their mark, leaving Toni gasping for breath. As Danielle signals for the superkick, Alina wipes Tameka and Vinny out by leaping from the top turnbuckle to the outside.

 

Just as Toni finds her feet, Dani executes a picture-perfect superkick that catches Toni flush in the face. Instead of going for the finish, she tags out to Alina who climbs up and lands the split-legged moonsault for the victory.

[Alina shakes her arm, gesturing that her elbow injury has fully healed]

 

Alina: But seriously, Ashley, you’ve got a lot to learn about respect and patience in this business. You're in such a rush to climb that ladder of success that you're forgetting the most important rule: you've got to earn it! The match begins with a display of mutual respect as all four competitors engage in a friendly handshake. Pinky, making her return from a shoulder injury, shows determination despite concerns of possible ring rust. The bell rings, signaling the start of the high-flying spectacle.
 

Darkness Cat and Estrella Blanca took the fight to their opponents, launching themselves off the ropes with gravity-defying springboard maneuvers. The audience gasps in awe as Darkness Cat executes a breathtaking corkscrew plancha, taking out both members of Las Amazonas on the outside. Estrella Blanca follows suit with a graceful Asai moonsault, and the crowd are on their feet for this hot opener. 
 

Pinky sells her shoulder as Cat rolls her back into the ring; but showing remarkable resilience uses her agility to dodge a series of attacks, evading Darkness Cat’s weak strikes and countering with a dazzling double rotation headscissors takedown. The crowd get behind Pinky even more when she follows up with a tight victory roll pin for a close 2 count. 
 

However, Pinky remains cautious of her shoulder, and tags out to Mariana who continues the match; but the crowd grow restless and begin to chant for Pinky to return. Something that does not go unnoticed by a visibly put out Mariana.
 

The finish comes with the “Doble Impacto” which sees Mariana hoist Blanca into an Electric Chair and Pinky scores a blind tag followed by a diving blockbuster from the top rope. Las Amazonas celebrate together as commentary notes they’ll be facing the COTT Women’s World Champion, Maribel Mercado, and a partner of her choosing at Capital Clash.

Dharma: QAW faithful, I’m here with the victorious team of Las Amazonas-- Pinky and Mariana! What an excellent match! Pinky, you have officially returned from a shoulder injury, how are you feeling?

 

Pinky: Thank you, Dharma! It feels amazing to be back in action and to have the support of these incredible fans.

 

[Pinky pauses to give space for more cheering from the crowd]

 

Pinky: But, there is unfinished business that needs to be settled now that I’m back. 

 

Dharma: You must be talking about Maribel Mercado; she was responsible for pushing you off the turnbuckle back in February ultimately costing you the QAW World Tag Team titles, and also forcing you to vacate the COTT Women’s World Championship. Which she now holds...

 

Pinky: That’s right, Dharma. Maribel, it’s true we’ve had our fair share of problems south of the border in CILL. But following me to QAW to cost us the tag belts, and ultimately costing me the COTT belt. It doesn’t make sense. And at this point, it doesn’t need to because I’m not going to rest until I’ve settled the score with you in the ring. Consider this a warning, Maribel, I’m taking back the COTT Women’s World Championship. 

 

Dharma: Strong words, Pinky! And Mariana, as Pinky’s tag team partner, you’ve shown incredible loyalty in her absence by fighting Maribel for the title last month. How do you feel about the fan reaction tonight?

 

[Mariana seems momentarily taken aback by the line of questioning]

 

Mariana: Well, it’s no secret that Pinky has an undeniable connection with the fans. But don’t forget, I’ve been here, giving my all week after week. It’s disheartening at times, but I won’t let that deter me from continuing to prove my worth. 

 

Pinky: Mariana, you know I appreciate everything you do for our team. You held the fort down and the fans see the same incredible competitor I do. Isn’t that right?!

Brazzle: Oh, Miss Mexico, my dear! How wonderful it is to see you once again. The memories of our time together in AAA still warm my heart. You were always such a force to be reckoned with.

 

[MM looks up from her tablet, unimpressed]

 

Mexico: Cut the act, Brazzle. What do you want?

 

Brazzle: [Maintaining her saccharine smile] Act? Can't a champion extend a friendly warning?

 

Mexico: [Crosses her arms, unconvinced] Warning? About what?

 

Brazzle: [Leaning in, her voice dripping with faux concern] You see, my dear Miss Mexico, I've been observing your involvement with Pamela, and I can't help but worry for you. She's walking a dangerous path, and those who align with her are bound to suffer the consequences.

 

Mexico: [Raises an eyebrow, showing a hint of amusement] Is that so? Shouldn’t you be worried about yourself?

 

[Brazzle pauses, momentarily rattled by MM's nonchalant response, then quickly composes herself] 

 

Brazzle: You misunderstand. I have only genuine concern for your well-being. You’ve built a legendary career, an esteemed reputation, and a cushy backstage role here. Surely you want to carry that through into my vision for QAW?

 

Miss Mexico: [Laughs softly, shaking her head] Brazzle, you truly are delusional if you think I would abandon someone I've mentored and nurtured, just to bask in your twisted version of success. I may have retired from in-ring competition, but my loyalty lies with those who deserve it, not with manipulators like you.

 

[Brazzle’s smile wavers for a moment, annoyance flickering in her eyes more clearly this time]

 

Brazzle: Suit yourself... But, opportunities like this don’t come knocking twice. You may regret your decision someday, Rosa. 

 

Mexico: [Stands tall, her voice firm] I’ve made my choice; I don't need your warnings or your twisted concern. I know exactly what I'm doing, Suzy.

 

Brazzle: [Her smile falters completely, revealing her anger] Very well. If you insist on ignoring my advice, so be it. But remember, when the storm comes crashing down upon QAW, don't say I didn't warn you.

 

[Brazzle glares at Miss Mexico but decides to leave, her sickly sweet facade gone]

The team of Tex-Mex makes their way to the ring, accompanied by their loyal friend, Ash Grover. They exude determination to prove themselves as seasoned veterans in the world of QAW. Their opponents Black Diamond and Felicia Luck are looking to make a name for themselves. 

 

At the bell, Teresa squares of against Diamond and wastes no time, immediately taking control of the ring. Despite Diamond looking every inch the muscular specimen, she lacks the ring time to keep up with Teresa’s technical and aerial maneuvers, and is outsmarted at every turn. 

 

The story remains the same when they tag out. Houston, the brawler of the team, slices through Felicia’s grappling and batters her with ugly, but effective, strikes. 

 

Despite their best efforts, Diamond and Luck struggle to find an answer to Tex-Mex and with each comeback, Tex-Mex cuts them off with a combination of teamwork and individual prowess. The veterans seem determined to make a statement, leaving no doubt they belong on the main card. 

 

In the closing moments, Teresa flew into a head-scissors armbar on Diamond in the middle of the ring. The image of the much smaller Teresa wrenching the larger Diamond down to the mat woke the crowd up who chanted for the tap; Houston took out Felicia from interfering and upon seeing that Diamond knew her fate was sealed and collapsed to the mat admitting defeat.

[As Tex-Mex are celebrating in the ring, the QAW World Tag Team Champions slide into the ring and launch a sudden ambush, ruthlessly assaulting them. On the outside, Ash is blindsided by the Fallen Angel's muscle, Steph Blake, who unleashes a relentless assault, pummeling her without mercy.

 

Back in the ring, Lilly and Rose, the QAW World Tag Team Champions, execute their devastating finisher known as the "Thorn" - a Double Impaler DDT. Teresa and Houston are left motionless, knocked out cold by the impact.

 

Ash is rolled into the ring by Steph, and at this moment, the QAW World Champion, Suzanne Brazzle, makes her grand entrance. She glides to the ring with an air of superiority, directing Steph to hold Ash steady. A brief exchange of words ensues, unheard by the audience, as Ash struggles one last time before Steph wrenches her into a front facelock. The crowd watches in anticipation as the "Mistress of the DDT" executes a lightning-fast snap DDT, driving Ash into the mat with punishing force

 

It becomes apparent that The Line has discovered the formidable opponents Commissioner Bomb has booked for them at Capital Clash...]

Trios Match

 

The Furies [Emma, Honey & Marie] vs. Olivia Diamond, Calamity Jane & Nayima Khan

 

The match kicks off and Emma immediately takes charge, showcasing her technical skills. She grabs Calamity Jane's arm and transitions into a quick arm drag, sending her opponent to the mat. Emma swiftly transitions into an armbar, applying pressure and testing Jane's resilience. The crowd cheers as Emma expertly manipulates her opponent's joints; Jane wastes no time in creating space and tagging out to Olivia much to Emma’s disappointment, who also tags out to Honey. 

 

Honey Badger wastes no time in living up to her name. A street fighter at heart, she lunges forward with a powerful haymaker punch, staggering Olivia Diamond. Honey Badger follows up with a series of rapid-fire strikes—a knee to the midsection, an elbow to the jaw, and a forearm smash to the kidney. As Olivia clutches her side in pain, Marie has already tagged in and delivers a lightning-fast roundhouse kick to Olivia’s mid-section, causing her to double over in pain. Marie follows up with an axe kick that flattens Olivia to the mat. Behind her, Nayima leans through the ropes to protest but is caught by a lightning-fast jab, snapping her head back and making her regret getting involved. 

 

Throughout the match, The Furies maintain a no-nonsense approach, efficiently tagging in and out, always in control. Emma's leadership shines as she guides her team, coordinating their attacks and ensuring they exploit their opponents' weaknesses. The jobbers attempt to rally and turn the tide, but The Furies' seamless teamwork and relentless offense prove insurmountable.

 

As the match nears its climax, Emma calls for the finish, rallying her team for one last devastating display. She applies a textbook-perfect Crossface submission hold on Calamity Jane, stretching her neck and shoulder to the limit. Honey Badger delivers a devastating knee strike to the face of Olivia Diamond, leaving her sprawled on the canvas. Marie Punnen lands a thunderous roundhouse kick to Nayima Khan's head, sending her crashing to the mat. Jane has no choice but to tap.

The scene takes place in a dimly lit lounge which doubles as the Clenched Fist's headquarters. Hellcat Hernandez sits at a table, nursing a drink while sporting a recently healed wired jaw. Maribel Mercado bursts into the room, her frustration evident on her face...

 

 

 

 

Maribel: Hellcat! Where is Unstoppable Tai? I need my personal bodyguard for the tag match at Capital Clash! This is unacceptable!

 

[Hellcat raises an eyebrow, her expression stoic yet menacing. Felicia Luck, standing nearby, steps forward as Hellcat's intermediary]

 

Felicia: Maribel, relax. Unstoppable Tai is booked over in Japan. But don't worry, Hellcat has someone in mind to take care of you.

 

[Maribel narrows her eyes and shoos Felicia to one side]

 

Maribel: I don’t want any of your job squad, Hellcat. If Tai isn’t around then I want you. I know you’re cleared to compete! 

 

[Hellcat slowly stands up, her presence commanding attention. She takes a step forward, her eyes lock onto Maribel]

 

Hellcat: So demanding...

 

[Maribel crosses her arms, a mischievous glint in her eyes]

 

Maribel: You know me so well. I don't just need anyone. I need someone who can handle the game, someone cunning and dangerous like you.

 

Hellcat: [leaning in] You do have a taste for the dangerous, don't you? But remember, my services come at a higher price.

 

Maribel: I’m sure we can figure something out-- 

 

[Ashley Keith enters the room, her head held high. She observes the interaction, intrigued by the power play]

 

Ashley: Hellcat, I’m struggling to recruit a tag partner for this weekend. So, I need to speak with you...

 

[Hellcat glances at Ashley, her gaze intense and calculating]

 

Hellcat: Oh?

 

Ashley: Be my partner and you get another shot at Alina America; the woman who wired your jaw shut these past few months. Lets work together and teach her, and Danielle Sweetheart, a lesson they will never forget.

 

[Hellcat's lips curl into a wicked smile, her interest fully captured]

 

Maribel: Hey! I’m afraid your a little late, Ashley! Hellcat has agreed to be my partner at Capital Clash. Sorry!

 

[Felicia pipes up from the shadows]

 

Felicia: Actually, you didn’t agree on a--

 

Maribel: No one asked you! Dios mio! I’m a loyal customer of this “business”, where is the loyalty back?!

 

Ashley: [raising an eyebrow] Maribel, why would Hellcat want to take on Las Amazonas? Two women she’s never crossed paths with when she has the chance to take on her actual rivals?

 

Maribel: I don’t know; why would she want to take on the woman who beat her ass last time they met?

 

[Maribel winces when she realises what she said in front of Hellcat who turns her back to Maribel and shakes Ashley’s hand]

 

Hellcat: [grinning] Ashley, you've piqued my interest. The chance to get back at Alina is too enticing to pass up. Consider it a deal. 

 

Maribel: [pouting] What do you mean? I need someone to protect me!

 

 

[As Maribel finishes her sentence, “Miss Perfection” Fuyuko Higa enters the scene; as Fuyuko's presence fills the room, a subtle shift in the atmosphere can be felt. Hellcat's eyes narrow slightly, a hint of unease creeping into her demeanor as she faces the leader of the Japanese syndicate of the Clenched Fist]

 

Hellcat: [with a hint of hostility] Fuyuko. What brings you here? I didn't realise you had an interest in matters concerning my territory.

 

Fuyuko: [with a wry smile] I noticed Ashley heading in here and I was concerned about what poison she might be saying to my… Colleagues. 

 

[Hellcat's jaw clenches, her fists tightening as she meets Fuyuko's gaze. The underlying power struggle between the two leaders becomes palpable]

 

Ashley: [firmly] I didn't realise you had an interest in my affairs still. Don’t you have enough on your plate rebuilding your record after I took your 5SSW World Tag Team titles?

 

Fuyuko: [smirking] I don’t know what I’m more annoyed about; the fact that happened or the fact you went on to have the worst reign in 5SSW history. 

 

[As the conversation between Hellcat, Ashley, and Fuyuko unfolds, Maribel's sharp instincts kick in, sensing an opportunity to benefit from the situation]

 

Maribel: Well, it seems Hellcat has made her decision! But, I didn’t know you were available Fuyuko! I’ve seen your last few matches and you are one dangerous woman. Perhaps you’d be interested in teaming up with someone who appreciates your talents fully?

 

Fuyuko: I don’t sell my services like some second-rate mercenary. Why should I consider such an offer, Maribel? 

 

[Maribel is caught off guard by Fuyuko’s response]

 

Maribel: Well…

 

Fuyuko: You’re the COTT World Women’s Champion, right? 

 

Maribel: Right…

 

Fuyuko: [calmly] Then maybe there is something in it for me after all. I’ll team with you at Capital Clash.

 

[Maribel tries to interrupt Fuyuko’s exit but falters, slightly blindsided by the implication of Fuyuko’s words]

Rojo, utilising her size and strength advantage, starts the match with a display of power. She executes a series of impactful strikes staggering Little Miss Perfect. Rojo follows up with a powerful scoop slam, showcasing her dominance in the early exchanges.

 

However, Little Miss Perfect's agility and cunning come into play as she evades Rojo's attacks with quick footwork and agility. She counters with a lightning-fast arm drag takedown, catching Rojo off guard. Little Miss Perfect capitalises on the opportunity, targeting Rojo's arm with a combination of joint locks and arm wrenches, trying to weaken her explosive strikes.

 

As the match progresses, Rojo's intensity grows, fueled by her desire to challenge Suzanne Brazzle. She fights through the pain, powering out of Little Miss Perfect's submissions and retaliating with a stalling vertical suplex, shaking the ring. Rojo maintains control with a series of power moves, including a gorilla press slam and lawn-darting LMP into the turnbuckle. 

 

Meanwhile, Little Miss Perfect, aware of the stakes and her own precarious position with the Fallen Angels, resorts to underhanded tactics. She takes advantage of the referee's distractions, raking Rojo's eyes and pulling hair. These cheap shots momentarily slow down Rojo's momentum and give Little Miss Perfect an opening to regain control.

 

Throughout the match, Miss Mexico at ringside provides vocal support for Rojo, rallying the crowd behind her. Rojo draws strength from this encouragement, summoning her resilience and fighting spirit. She fights back, countering Little Miss Perfect's cheating tactics with a sudden burst of offense. Rojo delivers a thunderous clothesline followed by a stiff sliding lariat. 

 

Little Miss Perfect seems a little loopy as Rojo drags her up to finish her off with the “Big Red” [Powerslam]. 

Post-match, Rojo and Mexico celebrate in the ring together. The referee helps a worse-for-wear and tearful Little Miss Perfect make her way to the backstage area.

Las Amazonas [Mariana & Pinky] vs. "Miss Perfection" Fuyuko Higa & Maribel Mercado

 

The match started with a tense standoff between Pinky and Maribel. Pinky, fueled by her pent-up aggression, charged at Maribel with a flurry of powerful strikes, overwhelming her with her superior strength and athleticism. Pinky's relentless assault left Maribel reeling, struggling to find an answer to her opponent's ferocity. She resorted to cowardly tactics, seizing a momentary opening to deliver a well-placed rake to Pinky's eyes, temporarily blinding her and shifting the momentum in her favour.

 

With a devious grin on her face, Maribel continued the assault by swiftly sidestepping Pinky's clumsy oncoming attack, causing Pinky to crash shoulder-first into the turnbuckle. The impact elicited a pained cry from Pinky as she clutched her injured shoulder, clearly in discomfort. Maribel followed up with a precise kick to Pinky's shoulder, causing a sharp jolt of pain to surge through her arm.

 

Maribel charged Pinky down with a swift shoulder tackle directly aimed at Pinky's weakened joint. The impact reverberated through Pinky's body, causing her to grit her teeth in agony. But Pinky showed fighting spirit and quickly got to her feet, only for Maribel to execute a skillful arm drag, yanking Pinky's weakened arm and shoulder, causing her to crash onto the mat with a resounding thud. Undeterred, Maribel hooked Pinky's injured arm into a vicious hammerlock and began wrenching.

 

Sensing an opportunity, Maribel started dragging Pinky closer to Fuyuko, who had her hand outstretched. But just as the tag was about to be made, Pinky launched a desperate counterattack and scored an enzuigiri. The crowd erupted as Pinky rolled towards Mariana and scored a hot tag.

 

Mariana charged into the ring towards Maribel and unleashed a flurry of quick strikes, showcasing her luchadora agility as she evaded Maribel's attempts to counter. Mariana rallied the crowd and treated them to a springboard crossbody, followed by a pop-up hurricanrana that sent Maribel sprawling into her corner and tagged out.

 

Fuyuko exuded a fierce aura as she wasted no time in closing in on Mariana. After a feeling-out process, Fuyuko had the measure of Mariana and peppered her with stiff kicks. Transitioning seamlessly between strikes and submissions, Fuyuko showcased her technical prowess. She trapped Mariana in painful joint locks, torquing her limbs and applying excruciating pressure.

Just as it seemed Mariana was on the brink of defeat, Pinky rallied for the hot tag, which spurred Mariana's comeback.

 

Fighting through the pain, she managed to deliver a series of forearm strikes and kicks of her own. She then ducked Fuyuko's clothesline attempt, rebounded off the ropes, and flattened Fuyuko with a crossbody block. With the crowd behind her, Mariana reached out, desperate to make the tag. However, just as she was about to, Maribel slyly pulled Pinky off the apron and into a brawl on the outside.

 

Mariana's attention was diverted as she watched the heated exchange on the arena floor. In that moment, Fuyuko rolled Mariana up from behind in a swift pinning combination. The referee slid into position, counting the pinfall as the crowd gasped in disbelief. One! Two! Three!

 

Fuyuko rose to her feet, her expression a mix of satisfaction and determination. She glanced at the ongoing chaos between Maribel and Pinky on the outside and exited the ring, happy with her work. Meanwhile, Mariana slowly got back to her feet, full of disappointment as Pinky rolled into the ring to console her while Maribel celebrated her triumphant hold of the COTT Women's Championship high above her head.

JRO: Mariana had a fantastic rally. She almost had the victory within reach, but Maribel's distraction with Pinky on the outside allowed Fuyuko to catch her off guard with a surprise roll-up pin.

 

Garcia: It was a heartbreaking moment for Las Amazonas. They left everything in the ring tonight, and despite the loss, they proved why they are a force to be reckoned with. I'm sure they will come back stronger than ever.

Dharma: QAW faithful, I’m here with members of the Fallen Angels: Suzanne Brazzle, Debbie Rose, and Kate Lilly. Tonight, you'll be facing off against The Line, a group that has been fighting for recognition recently. Last week, you ambushed them after a match. Care to shed some light on that?

 

[Suzanne Brazzle's saccharine smile widens, her eyes gleaming with a mix of superiority and disdain]

 

Brazzle: Ah, dear Dharma, it’s such a pity that The Line has managed to garner any attention at all. They represent everything that is wrong with QAW. They are the embodiment of mediocrity, clinging desperately to false hopes of justice. It is our duty, as the enlightened ones, to show them the error of their ways.

 

Rose: What have they truly accomplished? Nothing but a series of lackluster performances that barely register on the radar. QAW and women's wrestling deserve better, and that's precisely what we, the Fallen Angels, are ushering in – a new era of excellence.

 

Dharma: With all due respect, Tex-Mex are two-time QAW World Tag Team champions. Those are the belts you currently hold, only once. The Line have proven themselves time and time again in front of the fans and are arguably QAW standard-bearers.

 

[The Fallen Angels scoff in disbelief]

 

Lilly: We are the standard-bearers now. Our championship reigns are going to erase everything that came before. Sometimes burning something to the ground is the kindest thing to do to allow new growth. We are those torchbearers.

 

Brazzle: By facing The Line tonight, we are offering them the kindness of a swift defeat. They will learn their limitations and come to understand that they belong where Commissioner Bomb puts them. If they don't like that? Well, they know what to do.

Lilly: But when it comes to facing The Experience, we have no fear. We relish the opportunity to expose their weaknesses and show the world that they're simply relics of a bygone era.

Brazzle: (smirking) Oh, my dear, apologies won't be enough. But perhaps you'll learn from this experience and remember your place when addressing the Fallen Angels.

The trios match between the confident Fallen Angels and the determined underdogs, The Line, ignited the arena with anticipation. The Line showcased their tenacity and resilience from the start. Ash executed lightning-quick dropkicks and precision-based aerial assaults, keeping the Fallen Angels off balance. Teresa wowed the crowd with innovative counters, utilising her technical prowess to gain the upper hand. Meanwhile, Houston's aggressive brawling style came to the forefront as she pummelled her opponents with punishing strikes and impactful power moves.

 

The Fallen Angels met The Line's intensity with calculated aggression and deceit. Debbie would seize opportunities to use the ropes for chokes or deliver sly eye rakes. At the same time, she demonstrated excellent high-speed offence that sent her opponents reeling. Kate, equally skilled in her aerial arsenal, would strike with lightning-fast missile dropkicks and double stomps, with pinpoint accuracy. And finally, Brazzle showcased technical and ring intelligence, using suplexes and body slams to wear down her faster foes.

 

The frantic pace of the match created an atmosphere of desperation, leading to occasional mistakes from The Line. The pressure to prove themselves and the relentless assault from the Fallen Angels caused moments of miscommunication and slight hesitations. These errors allowed the Fallen Angels to exploit openings, taking advantage of the slightest misstep from their opponents. One such moment occurred when Steph Blake distracted the official, and Lilly & Rose scored "The Thorn" [Double impaler DDT] on Ash Grover, allowing Suzanne to gracefully pin Ash to the mat.

Houston was head and shoulders above everyone else [booked as a 'wild brawl' though, so maybe that's why]
 

Garcia: I can't believe what we just witnessed, Joanna!

 

JRO: That's right, Alfonso! The Fallen Angels proved once again why they are a dominant force in the ring. 

 

Garcia: Oh, please! Let's call it what it really is—cheating! The Line fought with heart and determination, but the Fallen Angels resorted to distractions and dirty tricks to secure the win.

 

JRO: Well, Alfonso, that's just smart wrestling. The Fallen Angels understand that victory is what matters most, and they did what they had to do to get the job done.

 

Garcia: Smart wrestling? No, Joanna, it's unsportswomanlike conduct! The Line deserved a fair chance, and the Fallen Angels took that away from them.

 

JRO: Well, Alfonso, that's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes. The Fallen Angels outsmarted their opponents and came out on top. That's the mark of true champions.

We move to the dimly lit lounge of The Clenched Fist. Inside, Hellcat Hernandez enjoys a drink, while Felicia, her timid associate, lingers nervously beside her. The Experience approach Hellcat, their faces showing a mix of concern and determination...

 

 

 

 

Ava: Hellcat, we need to talk. We've been hearing some troubling rumours.

 

Hellcat: (takes a swig from her glass) What's the word on the street?

 

Ava: The Uprising supposedly hired you to betray us in the tag tournament finals. Is there any truth to this?

 

[Hellcat finishes her drink with a sharp tone]

 

Hellcat: You want answers? Yes, The Uprising did come knocking, waving their money around. But don't you worry, I haven't forgotten where I came from or who I've fought alongside.

 

Lily: What would make them even think it was a possibility! Those ex-AAA girls are full of it!

 

Hellcat: Loyalty is a rare commodity in this business. You either have it or you don't. The Clenched Fist means something to me, and so do you two. We've built a reputation, and no amount of money can buy that.

 

[Ava and Lily exchange glances, a flicker of doubt still lingering]

 

Ava: Hellcat, forgive us for questioning your motives. It's just that this rumour has shaken us. We've got a lot riding on this. If we lose tonight, not only do we go to the back of the line to regain the QAW World Tag Team championships, but we also lose Brayfield as our manager. He's done a lot for us.

 

Hellcat: He also takes a cut of your winnings. Maybe after you win tonight, it's time we revise our relationship with old Brayfield...

 

[Hellcat pauses when she notices The Experience's bemused expressions and quickly adjusts her demeanour]

 

Hellcat: (nodding sternly) But, I understand your concerns. The Uprising may have their plans, but we have our own tricks up our sleeves. You'll come out on top.

 

Felicia: (nervously) Hellcat has always been there for us. She's got our backs.

 

Hellcat: (casting a hardened gaze at Felicia) And don't you forget it. Now, get your heads in the game and focus on the finals. We've got a reputation to uphold.

 

[Ava and Lily exchange determined looks, the doubt fading as Hellcat's words resonate]

 

Ava: We won't let anyone take us down! But, Hellcat, we want to do this on our own tonight. We'll show The Uprising and The Fallen Angels what we're made of.

 

[Hellcat smirks, her eyes reflecting a mixture of cunning and satisfaction]

Higgins: Well, Dharma, let me set the record straight. Pamela Rojo may be riding a wave of momentum right now, but I'm here to crash that party. I didn't just volunteer for this opportunity; I demanded it. You see, Pamela's success threatens everything the Fallen Angels stand for, and I won't let that happen.

 

Dharma: It sounds like you're very focused on derailing Pamela's momentum. How do you plan on doing that?

Dharma: Christy, it looks like Little Miss Perfect wants to have a word with you. Do you have time?

 

Higgins: (irritated) Can't you see I'm in the middle of an interview, Sarah? Don't you dare try to ruin my concentration before such an important match. I suggest you scurry along and find someone else to pester.

 

[Little Miss Perfect recoils, taken aback by Christy's outburst, and quickly retreats from the scene]

And muscled her to the mat targeting Christy’s limbs with kicks and joint locks. Christy, relying on her speed, would not stay down for long and used quick reversals to frustrate her opponent.

 

As the match progressed, Christy resorted to underhanded tactics. She used the ropes to her advantage, choking Pamela and using the referee's distraction to land cheap shots. The crowd jeered at Christy's antics, while Miss Mexico shouted words of encouragement to Pamela from ringside.

 

Despite Christy's attempts to rile her up, Pamela remained focused and composed. Pamela executed a textbook German suplex, hoisting Christy overhead and slamming her to the canvas, showcasing her raw power.

 

The match reached its climax as Christy, growing increasingly desperate, attempted to use her QAW Shockwave Championship belt as a weapon. However, before she could strike, Miss Mexico swiftly intervened, snatching the belt away and preventing Christy from executing her underhanded plan.

JRO: Deserved? Alfonso, you're just blind to the brilliance of Christy's cunning. She had the QAW Shockwave Championship belt ready to deliver a decisive blow! Well, I hope Pamela and Miss Mexico enjoy their momentary triumph. Because they will be buried soon! The Fallen Angels will make sure of it.

As Pamela Rojo celebrated her hard-fought victory in the ring, the arena buzzed with anticipation. Suddenly, the eerie music of Suzanne Brazzle pierced the air. Pamela Rojo stood defiantly in the ring, her eyes fixed on Suzanne Brazzle, who entered with an air of self-righteousness...

 

 

 

Brazzle: My dear, have you not learned from our past? I did what was necessary to guide you, to shape you into the wrestler you are today. Your pain was merely a means to a bigger purpose than you, a noble sacrifice, if you ask me...

 

[Pamela's expression hardened, her voice filled with a mix of anger and betrayal]

 

Rojo: You conveniently forget the lies and manipulation. You made me believe we were friends, that you genuinely cared about my success. I invited you into my home. We rode to shows together. I poured my heart out to you, and that's because you asked! The entire time, you were just using me as a pawn in your sick game. Did you go home afterward and laugh about me with Christy and the others?

 

[Suzanne's eyes narrowed, a smug smirk on her face]

 

Brazzle: Friendship is a trivial concept in this industry. I saw potential in you, and I used that to my advantage. It’s not as though you didn’t benefit either. In a high-stakes trios match between Ronin3 and The Furies, the audience witnessed a clash of aggressive styles in what was quickly turning into a heated rivalry between Foxxy and Emma.

 

The match kicked off with a showdown between Tameka and Honey, two powerhouses ready to assert their dominance. Tameka's imposing stature allowed her to effortlessly overpower Honey, driving her into the corner. Unleashing a series of savage slaps, Tameka left Honey gasping for air.

 

Emma seized the opportunity and tagged herself in, eager to take on the imposing Sky. She swiftly evaded Tameka's clothesline attempt and sprang into a dazzling flying armbar, popping the crowd. But Tameka, utilising her strength, powered out of the hold, slamming Emma down with authority.

 

Sensing weakness, Foxxy tagged in, wasting no time in unleashing on Emma. Every inch of Emma's body became a target for Foxxy's stomping onslaught. However, Emma, determined to fight back, regained her composure and retaliated with a stiff right hand that elicited an 'Oooh!' from the crowd. Unfazed, Foxxy answered with a graceful spinning heel kick that sent Emma crashing to the canvas.

 

As the match unfolded, each competitor had their moment to shine. Commentary noted Emma's newfound leadership skills as she coached and encouraged her teammates. The intensity grew, and Foxxy and May grappled aggressively with each other, with Emma determined to lock in a submission. It was during this sequence that Foxxy grimaced in pain, clutching her elbow. The referee quickly intervened, recognising the seriousness of the situation. Under the protection of the referee, Foxxy made the decision to tag out, seeking assistance outside the ring.

 

With Foxxy out of action, Tameka Sky stepped up her game, unleashing an unstoppable display of power and dominance. She executed a thunderous spinebuster on Marie, followed by a bone-crushing sidewalk slam on Honey. The Furies struggled to regain control as Tameka asserted her dominance.

 

As the match neared its climax, Emma desperately reached out for a hot tag to her partner, Honey. To the shock of the audience, Honey and Marie betrayed their own teammate, leaving Emma alone in the ring, abandoned and vulnerable.

 

Seizing the opportunity amidst the chaos, Tameka scooped up Emma and delivered a devastating "Sky High" chokeslam, shaking the ring on impact. Emma lay motionless on the canvas as Tameka stood triumphant. With Emma's fate sealed, Foxxy Larue reentered the ring and covered Emma, hooking the leg tightly as the referee dropped for the count.

 

One... two... three!

 

The bell rang, signaling the end of the match. Ronin3 briefly stood over the fallen Emma May, asserting their dominance, but Foxxy's grimace of agony hinted at the toll the match had taken. As she exited the ring, medical staff attended to her.

It's a shame that her efforts were ultimately in vain. The fallout from this match will surely have repercussions for the team dynamics within The Furies. Trust has been shattered, and it'll be interesting to see how they move forward.

We cut to the backstage interview area where Dharma is standing by with The Uprising...



Dharma: QAW faithful, I'm here with one of the most decorated tag teams in the industry today, Talia Quinzel and Selina Svelte, better known as The Uprising. They have made it to the finals of the tag team number one contenders tournament, where they'll be facing The Experience for the first time ever, in what many would call a dream match too! How are you feeling about this match?

 

Talia: Dharma, we're not here to play nice or follow QAW's script. We march to the beat of our own drum, and we're about to make The Experience face the music.

 

Selina: The Experience may have their accolades and their polished image, but we've been breaking barriers and smashing through glass ceilings, long before they came along. We're two-time AAA World Tag Team champions, we've won the 5SSW Tag Grand Prix, and we're the reigning 5SSW World Tag Team champions.

 

Talia: For the second time, baby!

 

[Talia and Selina fist bump]

 

Selina: That should tell you everything you need to know about us. We're a big deal. And if The Experience think they're close to that status, they're in for a rude awakening when they step into the ring with The Uprising because we always have an ace up our sleeves.

 

Dharma: An ace up your sleeves? Can you give us a hint about what that might be?

 

Selina: We're not going to give that away before our match, are we?

 

[Dharma nods in agreement but decides to change tact]

 

Dharma: Well, you have some interesting alliances backstage. You have an obvious connection to The Fallen Angels stable due to your history in AAA, and Commissioner Bomb seemed to set the tournament up in your favour. I mean, you were originally given a bye into the semis, and when that was challenged, your first-round opponents missed the match...

 

[Selina and Talia look at each other and back at Dharma, nonplussed]

 

Selina: I'm not seeing the connection...

 

Dharma: Also, you employed the services of Clenched Fist in your semi-final match... The Experience are members of that faction, but Hellcat doesn't exactly live by a code of honor... There could be a number of aces!

 

Talia: Or maybe the ace up our sleeves is that we're that damn good.

 

[Dharma is interrupted before she can respond]

 

Selina: Okay, Nancy Drew, we've heard enough from you tonight.

JRO: Let's not forget, if The Experience lose this match then you will no longer be able to manage them. How did you prepare your clients for your last match together?

 

Brayfield: Very funny, ma'am. Ah prepared 'em like Ah do for every match. We study. We train. And then we go win. These Uprising ladies may be the 5SSW champions but that don't mean diddly 'cause they are on QAW turf... And nobody heard of 'em in these parts. This is The Experience land.

 

JRO: Well, sounds like you haven't done your preparation Brayfield, because if you were "studying" you would know that the Uprising are no joke.

 

Brayfield: You're tellin' me the women who have stapled half their face together ain't a joke? Ya coulda fooled me.

The referee signals for the bell, and the match is underway. Talia starts for The Uprising, while Ava steps into the ring for The Experience.

 

Talia and Ava circle each other, sizing up their opponent. They engage in a grappling exchange, showcasing their technical skills. Talia's power becomes evident as she overpowers Ava with a series of impactful suplexes and slams, asserting her dominance.

 

Ava manages to create separation, quickly tagging in Lily, who enters the ring with determination, countering Talia's power with her agility and speed. Selina eagerly calls for a tag, which Talia obliges. The match intensifies as Selina and Lily engage in a slick display of technical wrestling and counter holds. Selina's submissions are executed flawlessly, applying excruciating pressure on Lily's limbs.

 

The Experience, known for their tag team chemistry, regains control as Ava re-enters the ring. They demonstrate seamless teamwork; at one point, Ava holds Selina in a full nelson, leaving her vulnerable to Lily's soaring knee strike to the face. Despite being on wobbly feet, Selina fights back and manages to create an opening to tag Talia, who is ready to overpower The Experience again. Talia comes in like a wrecking ball with hard shoulder tackles and snaps Ava into a thunderous scoop powerslam.

 

Talia unleashes a barrage of hard-hitting blows on Ava's back and hits a few of her trademark backbreakers before Ava counters with a neck-crunching DDT. Both women tag out, and the match becomes a back-and-forth battle, with both teams showcasing their experience and chemistry.

 

Just as it seems The Experience is gaining the upper hand, a mysterious woman interferes, tripping up Lily as she attempts to run the ropes. The referee is momentarily distracted, allowing Talia to capitalise; she pulls Lily by the hair into an Argentine Backbreaker and after a few excruciating moments dumps Lily over into a Facebuster.

 

The crowd erupts in shock and confusion as the referee finally turns her attention back to the action, witnessing the cover. In that same moment, Selina pulls Ava from the apron as Talia hooks the leg and seals the victory.

 

The Uprising celebrates their victory, albeit with an air of controversy surrounding their win. Bossman Brayfield is crestfallen on commentary and assists a frustrated-looking Lily and Ava to the backstage area.

"The Face of QAW" Alina America & "The Queen of Hearts" Danielle Sweetheart vs. "The Queen of Professional Wrestling" Ashley Keith & Hellcat Hernandez

 

In a highly anticipated tag team match fueled by intense grudges, Alina America and Danielle Sweetheart found themselves standing across the ring from Hellcat Hernandez and Ashley Keith. With the mix of personal vendettas at play, the atmosphere was buzzing as the bell rang to kick off the match.

 

Hellcat called attention to her recently surgically repaired jaw and traded insults with Alina, bringing them almost nose to nose in the center of the ring. Things broke down quickly, and the two exchanged stinging chops much to the crowd's delight. On one such attempt, Alina sidestepped the strike and showcased her agility, launching herself off the ropes with a picture-perfect dropkick that knocked Hellcat on her ass.

 

The crowd popped as Alina delivered precise kicks to Hellcat's chest. But Hellcat, the brawler, responded by grabbing an incoming kick, which knocked Alina off balance. Hellcat roared back to her feet and charged at Alina with a clothesline, nearly taking her head off. With a menacing grin, Hellcat pulled Alina up by the hair and delivered a series of forearms to the side of her head, finished with a stiff headbutt that sent Alina reeling. Seizing the moment, Hellcat powered Alina into the corner and kept the brawling going, but Alina fought back and found an opening for a second-rope hurricanrana, flipping Hellcat across the ring.

 

Alina wasted no time and tagged in Danielle, who entered the ring with a burst of energy and took Hellcat down with a crisp snap suplex, followed by a swift elbow drop. Hellcat fought back with sheer aggression, countering Danielle's offense with hard-hitting punches and kicks. As the action unfolded, the tension between Danielle and Ashley, who had their own bitter rivalry, simmered beneath the surface. Ashley, itching to get her hands on Danielle, taunted her from the apron, provoking a reaction in the form of Danielle tossing Hellcat towards her corner to tag out.

 

The crowd erupted as Danielle and Ashley locked eyes. The animosity between them was evident as they traded fierce strikes and aggressive grappling. Danielle applied a textbook hammerlock, torquing Ashley's arm and forcing her to the mat. Ashley relied on her athleticism, using a slick bridging escape to break free from Danielle's clutches.

 

Undeterred, Danielle maintained her focus. With a seamless transition, Danielle executed a lightning-fast arm drag, using Ashley's momentum against her and sending her crashing to the mat. The crowd cheered on as Danielle targeted Ashley's midsection, landing powerful kicks and knee strikes that winded her. Ashley tried to fight back with brute force, attempting to overpower Danielle with clubbing blows and slams, but Danielle appeared wise to Ashley's game now, allowing her to evade Ashley's attacks. She utilized her ring awareness to dodge, duck, and weave, frustrating her opponent.

 

The match wore on in this fashion, with Alina and Danielle working very well together and understanding their opponents' game plans before they did. As the match reached its climax, Alina and Ashley faced off. Alina's agility and Ashley's power created an engaging back-and-forth dynamic that captivated the audience. Ashley, desperate to assert her dominance, seized a steel chair from ringside, intending to hit Alina. Sensing the danger, Danielle selflessly stepped in the way of the shot, sacrificing herself to protect her partner.

 

The dull thud of steel meeting bone reverberated through the arena, causing an immediate flow of blood. The referee swiftly called for the disqualification, abruptly ending the match.

 

Medical personnel rushed to attend to Danielle's injury, while Alina and the crowd looked on in shock and dismay. Meanwhile, Ashley and Hellcat looked quite pleased with themselves, laughing with each other as they exited the stage.

Capital Clash is in the books!

 

The last round of prediction prizes involved some booking choices such as @Theheel wanting to see Skye Hermosa/Kira Lee make their way over to QAW in the Shockwave picture, which was covered in the road to shows! Expect to see more of them, particularly Kira Lee in the future. 

 

@KyTeran wanted to see a feud between Lilly & Rose and Tex-Mex which I think is safe to say is in full swing! More to come between those two teams. 

 

And lastly, @christmas_ape, thought Lady San Juan should be part of the Miracle Challenge, which was also completed on one of the road to shows. We'll see a bit more of them too...

 

 

In terms, of Capital Clash @smw88 took the clean sweep with 6/6. Interestingly, I kept everyone else at 4/6, seems like opinions were split regarding the three tag team matches. But the majority had total faith in Ronin3, Pamela, and Fallen Angels taking their wins. I'll message everyone with their booking decisions, with SMW getting to book at the top of the card.

Since late 2016, she has been working as part of the OLLIE women's division. Originally a rudo, the fans took to her so much that they effectively forced a tecnico turn. Ursula has an ongoing "brawn vs. sneakiness" feud with Bizarro, which has gotten both women over.

 

In the last year, Ursula has struck up an excellent tag team with Electric Dreamer as "Overpowered." She is also dominating the new luchadora promotion GDR.

Maribel Mercado is a Mexican luchadora noted for her flame-red hair and attire, which is a deliberate nod to Miss Mexico, one of her favorite wrestlers when she was growing up. After two years working on the independent circuit in her home country, Mercado built up enough of a reputation to be hired by QAW in Texas. She spent four years with the company, often teaming up with her idol Miss Mexico, before leaving in 2014 to work full-time for CILL, her hometown company.

 

Mercado has improved significantly in the six years since she left QAW and has turned into a fabulous rudo. She has become a significant draw for CILL. After feuding for several years with Pinky Perez over the World Championship, she has decided to return to QAW and disrupt Pinky's momentum by any means necessary.

Purple Viper is an experienced luchadora known for her great look, pairing a bright pink mask with a veritable expanse of wild blonde hair. She first came to fame in America with a five-year run in QAW before heading back to Mexico to sign with OLLIE, her favorite company growing up, in 2015. Her experience and in-ring savvy have been key in turning the women's division into a big commercial success.

 

She has recently entered an entertaining odd-trio storyline with long-standing rivals Electric Dreamer and Mystery Pink, where they became the first-ever Women's Trios Champions.

Queen Amazon is a powerhouse luchadora who loves to bulldoze her opponents with running tackles, slams, clubbing forearms, and her finisher, the deadly Amazonian Powerbomb. She came to people's attention on the independent circuit and was signed in 2011 to be one of the founding four members of the new OLLIE luchadora's division.

 

Although she failed to win the tournament to crown the first-ever Campeón de las Mujeres, she later unseated Luchadora Original to become the second champion. She is now firmly established as one of the big guns of the division and teams up with La Hija Del Diablo as "The Queens of the Damned." She also shocked the world by showing up in CILL and aligning with Jaguar Queen to become the first-ever Women's Tag Champions.

Celeste Moon is the luchadora formerly known as Águila Azul Celeste, best known as one of the founding members of OLLIE's women's division. She is a good all-rounder with admirable technical skills.

 

In 2017, she turned on her "Electric Blue Moon" tag partner Electric Dreamer, giving her a vicious edge that helped take her to the next level. Changing her ring name to Celeste Moon, she quickly became the top rudo in OLLIE. She has also made a handful of well-received appearances for QAW in the past. Recently, she has shown up in CILL and has been tagging with Maribel Mercado.

 

 

La Hija Del Diablo

La Hija Del Diablo is a speedy luchadora who was relatively unknown prior to joining OLLIE's women's division in 2012. Quick as a cat, she attacks with lots of fast armdrags, ranas, and dropkicks to keep her opponents off balance. Over the course of her OLLIE career, she has developed into a very solid worker.

 

She is well known for her tag team with Queen Amazon as "The Queens of the Damned".
 

 

 

 

Bomb: Moving on to wider news, our sister promotion in Japan 5SSW, recently held their biggest show of the year: Joshimania 26! The main event saw the 5SSW World Champion, HEART Saitoh, retain against Toku Kijmuta. The Uprising were also in action, successfully defending their 5SSW Tag Championships against The Storm Dragons. 

 

 

"Prominent absences were observed during the most significant event of the year, as Fuyuko Higa, Shiori Jippensha, Gemmei Oonishi, and Unstoppable Tai, all members of the Japanese Clenched Fist faction, were noticeably missing. Additionally, it has been noted that these individuals received limited opportunities during the Joshimania tour. It is widely recognised that these four women are among the biggest stars of 5SSW, and their absence from the marquee show has sparked outrage among fans worldwide.

 

While the 5SSW camp has chosen to remain silent on the matter, Fuyuko Higa has taken to social media to express her frustration, stating that she is prepared to explore new opportunities if 5SSW fails to recognise her talents. Bomb: Significant news has emerged from CWA this week as "The Franchise" Brooke Tyler departed from the company after opting not to renew her contract. Critics have theorised that the inaugural CWA Women's World Champion grew increasingly displeased with the title remaining vacant for nearly four months during Lauren Easter's maternity leave. Numerous individuals have criticized CWA for seemingly withholding the championship from the division in Lauren's absence. Reports from insider publications indicate that Brooke was vocal about her readiness, as well as that of Nadia Snow and Laura Flame, to step up and fill the void.

 

"This development follows the devastating loss of Amber Allen last year, who tragically lost her life in a car accident. It was widely known that Amber and Brooke shared a close friendship, leading many to speculate that this might have played a role in Brooke's decision to seek new opportunities outside of CWA. Perhaps she was inspired by the recent actions of Tiffany Jade, who departed from USPW to pursue work in Mexico. Bomb: Lastly, let's take a look at the happenings in the Confederation of the Territories Alliance! Our comrades at CILL recently hosted their "Maniaco" event, attracting an audience of 25k viewers! Our very own Pinky Perez emerged victorious over the women's champion, Catalina Vasquez, via disqualification, as Catalina chose to deliberately get counted out. Consequently, Pinky won the match but not the coveted title. Determined, she has pledged to claim the championship next time by any means necessary. On the undercard, Maribel Mercado secured a victory in her match, while the tag team of Estrella Blanca and La Hija Del Phoenix successfully retained their CILL Women's Tag Team Championships.

 

"Meanwhile, OLLIE staged their renowned event, Luchamania XXVI, in front of a capacity crowd of 22k fans! Celeste Moon successfully defended the women's title against Tiffany Jade, Villana Dos, and Mystery Pink. The Queens of the Damned managed to retain the tag team titles against the unorthodox duo of Purple Viper and Electric Dreamer. In earlier events this week at IPW Mayhem, Overpowered retained the COTT Women's Tag Championships, and Yuki Moore caused a massive upset by capturing the Women's Championship from Chris Amerson in a triple threat match where Chris was not even pinned! Bomb: It is with deep regret that we report following Capital Clash Danielle Sweetheart suffered a concussion at the hands of Ashley Keith and will be unable to compete at World Summit. Additionally, Foxxy Larue endured an elbow fracture during her match with Emma May, which means she will be out of the ring for at least two months.

Hannah Potter sits across from Darkness Cat, ready to conduct the sit-down interview. Darkness Cat is dressed in her wrestling attire...

 

Potter: Welcome, QAW faithful. My name is Hannah Potter, but, I’m sure you knew that already! It is my pleasure to be here tonight to conduct the first of a series of sit-down interviews with some of the amazing Queens of American Wrestling! My first guest is known for risking every one of her nine lives with every performance, the sensational Darkness Cat!

 

Cat: Gracias, Hannah. It's my pleasure to be here.

 

Potter: Let's dive right into your incredible journey, Darkness Cat. I discovered you have a background in gymnastics and modelling, which is quite intriguing. Can you share with us how those experiences influenced your path to becoming a luchadora?

 

Cat: Well, at a young age, I discovered a passion for gymnastics in school. The grace and athleticism captured my heart, and I was really good at it! I'm not going to sugar coat it but I was in the foster system until I aged out. I don't know anything about my father, but I know my mother gave me up at a very young age. I think she was too young to look after me. Maybe she had me in secret? Who knows but I like to think she thought she was making the best decision for me. Anyway, I moved around a lot growing up with various foster families and my education suffered, and I had no friends. But, I was always able to find gymnastics and that kept me grounded. I had to grow up fast though, and I wanted to look after myself financially so during my high school years I ventured into the world of modelling.

 

Potter: I think everyone at home would commend you for your courage growing up in that situation. It's impressive you preserved with your pursuits, but how did you balance it with your schooling?

 

[Darkness giggles]

 

Cat: Honestly? I was never a good student. Once I started earning my own money and supporting myself, I made the decision to drop out of school, and it was the best decision I ever made. I loved the glamour and artistry of modelling, and it was during a commercial shoot that I met a stunt woman. She blew my mind. Everything fell into place when I saw her perform. That's what I wanted to do, so I started training!

 

Potter: How old were you at that point?

 

Cat: Sixteen... I may have stretched the truth about my age back then! (Darkness laughs guiltily) Anyway, I lived a cheap lifestyle and poured my modelling money into training in martial arts, wire work, driving, horseback riding, water stunts—anything and everything. I did it, and I loved every second of it.

 

Potter: You achieved so much at such a young age! It's really remarkable! So, how did you discover lucha libre amidst all of this training?

 

Cat: Well, lucha libre is a big deal in Mexico, so I watched it growing up. But during high school, I was preoccupied with other things! So it was not long after I started training for stunt work, I was out with some of the other students, and we happened to catch a big SOTBPW show, and Jennifer Heat took a bump. It was like a light bulb moment. The gymnastics, the modelling, the stunt work—it all came together right before my eyes. But I didn't want to be a valet, I wanted to be in the ring. So, I signed up for a wrestling school the very next day.

 

Potter: It sounds like everything aligned perfectly for you. So, after enrolling in the wrestling school, what was your experience like? And when did you come up with the moniker "Darkness Cat"?

 

Cat: Well, Hannah, I wholeheartedly embraced the world of lucha libre. I continued modelling and training to be a stunt woman. Lets just say I didn't get much time to myself back then. These two pursuits certainly accelerated my progress and I made my professional debut at the age of 19, and I never looked back. As for "Darkness Cat," I adopted that persona early on. You see, cats have always held a special place in Mexican heritage, the more I delved into the mystical stories and legends surrounding cats in Mexican folklore, the more captivated I became.

 

 

Potter: So, it was more than just adopting a persona. It was a way to honour your Mexican heritage as well?

 

Cat: Absolutely. A black cat is prone to superstition. You could say that I had an unlucky start in life, so I thought why not embrace that? I overcame it after all. The grace and independence that cats embody resonated with me on a personal level. When I wear this mask I become fearless.

 

Potter: Amazing insight. So, even though we are at the very start of your career we know that you got your big break very quickly with QAW, at the age of 19 as well. How did that come to be?

 

Cat: Well, it was through Madame Bat, a legend and the first QAW Shockwave champion. I'll never forget the day she approached me after one of my matches, wrestling in front of just 10 people. She saw something in me, something she believed would shine bright in QAW. And here I am, almost eleven years later. Time flies!

 

Potter: That must have been an incredible feeling. How were those early years in QAW?

 

Cat: I packed up everything I had and moved closer to the border. QAW quickly became my second home. The experience was invaluable—the competition, the caliber of talent, and the guidance from people like Madame Bat, Miss Mexico, and Farrah. I still have a lot to learn, though. I never want to leave.

 

Potter: Well, in 2016, you had another big break?

 

Cat: Yes! I was signed by CILL, which fortunately is QAW's sister promotion. So, I was encouraged to split my time between the two. While I am proud of everything I've done in QAW—and continue to be—something wasn't quite clicking. I think my style was just more suited to the CILL audience.

 

Potter: And just two years later, you won your first-ever world title from Lady Liberty!

 

Cat: It was the greatest accomplishment of my career. To be recognised as the leader of that division of very talented luchadoras was awe-inspiring. It gave me that same thrill I got from my stunt work, but even more exhilarating. It was intoxicating, and I pray that I get to have that experience again.

 

Potter: With that said, what do you hope to achieve in the future, Darkness Cat?

 

Cat: I'm going to continue my stunt work, of course! And I want to keep pushing boundaries, defying expectations, and captivating fans. I aspire to become a luchadora who leaves a lasting impact, I want this mask to mean something! I also want to inspire the next generation of wrestlers to fearlessly chase their dreams, just like I did. And most of all... I want to be a QAW champion. I'm ready. 

 

Potter: Darkness Cat, you are an incredible force, and I have no doubt that your journey will continue to amaze us all. Thank you for sharing your inspiring story with us today.

As the bell rings, Fuyuko wastes no time, immediately taking control of the match. She feints the less experienced Modesty into a tight clinch with lightning speed. From there, Fuyuko launches a barrage of knees before sweeping Modesty to the ground and taking a full mount. Her punches and forearms find their mark, crashing into Modesty’s head and arms as she attempts to cover.
 

Eventually, the referee intervenes and warns Modesty to protect herself; Modesty, sensing the urgency, tries to mount a counter-attack. She retaliates with a series of well-executed kicks, displaying her agility and flexibility. However, Fuyuko's superior technique and adaptibility shine through as she expertly evades and blocks Modesty's strikes, nullifying her offence.
 

With each passing moment, Fuyuko's dominance becomes more evident. She seamlessly transitions from strikes to grappling manoeuvres, taking Modesty to the mat and wrenching her limbs with relentless precision. 
 

As the match reaches its climax, Fuyuko unleashes a devastating combination of strikes, leaving Modesty reeling. Finally, taking pity on her opponent, Fuyuko runs the ropes and delivers a fluid "Green Higa Driver" [Destino]. With Modesty lying motionless, Fuyuko makes a cover. The referee slides into position, counting the pinfall. One! Two! Three!
 

After the match, Fuyuko rises to her feet, her expression a mix of satisfaction and boredom. The crowd's reaction is somewhat muted, in awe of the dominance but also disappointed by the one-sided nature of the match.

[She shakes her head, feigning sympathy]

 

Foxxy: Sure, you fractured my elbow, but let me tell you something, sweetheart. I still pinned your sorry ass, and that's double the humiliation for you, which means double the pleasure for me. But don't think for a second that we're done here. Oh no, not by a long shot.
 

[Foxxy momentarily pauses as Tameka loudly cracks her knuckles]

 

Foxxy: You've been pissing me off for a long time, girl. I can't wrestle, which means you're messing with my money too and I don't like that either. But you see, Commissioner Bomb has given me an opportunity to exterminate The Furies once and for all. At World Summit, everyone knows you ain't got no friends left in this promotion. Nobody's gonna stand shoulder to shoulder with you. And let me assure you, the name Ronin3 still carries weight around here, so I'm very confident Team Foxxy is going to fill up quick.
 

[She leans in, her voice dripping with anticipation]

Talia starts off by showcasing her power as she effortlessly rag-dolls Carlotta around the ring in a number of lock-ups, eventually executing a series of crisp and impactful back breakers that leave Carlotta struggling to stand.
 

Selina eagerly awaits her turn to enter the fray. As Talia tags her in, Selina wastes no time in working Carlotta's back with various stretching holds. At one point, Selina manoeuvres herself onto Carlotta's back, grabbing both of her arms and pulling them backward. Simultaneously, Selina hooks her legs around Carlotta's midsection, arching her back and hyperextending the spine, applying excruciating pressure on the targeted area.
 

On the other side of the ring, Suki Flash tries to rally the crowd. But The Uprising works seamlessly and keeps the pressure up on Carlotta, strategically isolating her from Suki. As the match nears its climax, Talia pulls Carlotta into an Argentine Backbreaker. Simultaneously, Selina intercepts a rescue attempt from Suki and drags her down into the "Svelte Scissorlock" [Rings of Saturn]. Talia then flips Carlotta from her shoulder into a sit-out facebuster, completing the "Spinal Trauma" [KoD]. Suki is seen tapping as Talia completes the cover.

[Maribel struts around the ring, flaunting the COTT Championship as the crowd boos loudly]

 

Maribel: Since my triumphant return to QAW, I've been untouchable. I swiftly captured this title, proving my dominance in a matter of weeks. Meanwhile, it took Pinky an entire year to achieve what I accomplished in mere moments, and let's not forget she had her lackey, Mariana Torres, propping her up! Can you believe the outrageous hype surrounding Pinky Perez? They call her the "Mexican Ace"? Ha! But let me tell you, I was here in QAW long before she even set foot in this ring. Yet, my talents went unappreciated, overshadowed by those far beneath me.

 

[Maribel rolls her eyes dramatically, showing her disdain for Pinky]

 

Maribel: So, I sought refuge in CILL, where they recognised my limitless talent. But no matter where I turned, people were blinded by Pinky Perez. I can't comprehend it. She's nowhere near as stunning as I am. She lacks the charisma that flows through my veins. And don't even get me started on her wrestling skills. She's a mere shadow compared to the performer I am.

 

[Maribel smirks, exuding arrogance and superiority]

 

Maribel: When I discovered Pinky was trying to break into QAW, it simply didn't sit right with me. I couldn't let her tarnish this place with her presence. That's why I made the decision to return, to remind each and every one of you that I am the future of women's wrestling. It's Maribel Mercado who possesses the true beauty, talent, and skills that should be celebrated, not Pinky Perez!

 

 

[Pinky's music hits, interrupting Maribel's speech. Pinky walks out to a warm reception from the crowd]
 

Pinky: Maribel, congratulations on cheating and scheming your way to victory! But when you take shortcuts, it just doesn't feel as good as when you earn it the right way. And that bitter feeling eating you up every step of the way? That's your conscience trying to catch up with you. Unfortunately, for all your beauty and talent, you don't have any soul.

 

[Maribel interrupts with a scoff, rolling her eyes]

 

Maribel: (mockingly) I don't have a soul?

 

Pinky: (firmly) Soul. Conscience. Morals. Call it what you want. From day one in CILL, you've shown your true colours, and that's why you're only half as successful as you think you should be.

 

[Maribel crosses her arms, fuming with annoyance]

 

Maribel: I'm not successful? I defeated you twice for the CILL Championship. I'm the COTT Women's World Champion! I have the belt you want so badly.

 

Pinky: I'm not talking about that. That's your problem, Maribel. You think winning by any means will make you beloved, but it doesn't work that way. Every night, I step into that ring and give my all. Win or lose, I do it with honour. And that's why people respond to me because they see themselves in someone who puts in the hard work, fights with integrity, and respects this sport.

 

[The crowd cheers loudly for Pinky, frustrating Maribel]

 

Maribel: Respect? Respect doesn't put championships around your waist, Pinky. Respect doesn't bring success. And if you're too naïve to realise that, then you're just setting yourself up for failure.

 

[Pinky smirks confidently, looking directly at Maribel]

 

Pinky: Maybe in your twisted world, success is measured by titles and shortcuts. But for me, success is measured by the impact I make on people's lives, the inspiration I provide to those who look up to me. At World Summit, I am going to lead a team of fellow luchadoras who share that vision. And that's why we've already won, even before stepping into the ring.

 

[Maribel scoffs, showing her disbelief]

 

Maribel: Okay, sure. So, in that token, I must be leading a horde of evildoers! And even if I am, my hand-selected team represents everything I value in lucha libre: power, ruthlessness, beauty, and, most of all, violence! At World Summit, the story won't change. Foxxy: (slyly) What do we have here? You two think you're worthy enough to join Team Foxxy? You must have heard the word on the street that I'm assembling the baddest women in this promotion.

 

[Hellcat and Ashley share a mocking chuckle before responding]

 

Ashley: Consider my application submitted when I smashed a steel chair into Danielle Sweetheart’s skull. Or when I took out Alina and helped you score that ‘big win’ a couple of months ago...

 

Hellcat: I don’t need to explain myself to you.

 

[Foxxy eyes Hellcat]

 

Foxxy: Very compelling. I will have to take it into consideration with the other interested parties. 

 

Hellcat: Spare us the crap, Fox. We all know you couldn't convince a soul to join Ronin3 until Tameka came into the picture. No one's exactly lining up to be on your team.

 

[Hellcat looks around the empty hallway]

 

Ashley: (petulantly) Consider this a one-time offer. Last year, at Triosmania, Emma treated me like dirt when we teamed up. 

 

Hellcat: (sadistically) And I owe her a receipt from Night of Champions. She almost broke my neck! 

 

Ashley: What we’re saying is you want the best at World Summit, you’ve got it. And in return, we get to take chunks out of Emma May. 

 

[Foxxy takes a moment to contemplate the offer]

 

Foxxy: (leaning in, with a sly grin) Well, girls, it seems we've got ourselves a deal. But let's not forget who's calling the shots here.

 

[Hellcat and Ashley nod, acknowledging Foxxy's authority]

 

Hellcat: Whatever you say, Foxxy. At World Summit, we're all gonna survive the match and get the sweet revenge we're owed.

 

Foxxy: (confidently) You know it, baby. Facts are facts, and the fact is, we're gonna show 'em how it's done.

The bell rings, and the match starts with Darkness and LMP locked in a fierce grappling exchange. It's evident from the outset that LMP is off her game, seemingly preoccupied by recent events with Christy Higgins. Sensing the opportunity, Darkness unleashes her lightning-fast agility, effortlessly bewildering LMP.

 

With a deft leap, Darkness propels herself off the top rope, delivering a devastating dropkick that lands squarely on LMP's jaw. The impact makes the entire arena wince, but it only serves to further frustrate LMP, who finds herself outclassed in every aspect. Growing increasingly desperate, she resorts to underhanded tactics, tugging at Darkness' mask and grabbing at her tights in an attempt to gain an unfair advantage.

 

Yet, Darkness rises above these cheap shots, evading the majority of LMP's desperate attempts, leaving LMP seething. Just when Darkness seems to have the upper hand, Raquel's interference distracts her, providing LMP with the opportunity to tag out to Unstoppable Tai.

 

As Darkness and Tai lock eyes, Darkness appears poised to take on the formidable giant. However, before she can make her move, Pamela's voice reverberates throughout the arena, demanding the tag. The crowd joins in, urging Darkness to let Rojo in.

 

Pamela rushes Tai and unleashes a barrage of thunderous forearms, seeking to assert her dominance. Tai, resilient and unyielding, absorbs the punishing blows, showcasing her durability. With an earth-shattering elbow strike, Tai retaliates and roars in defiance.

 

The two powerhouses trade blows, each strike resonating with force. Tai looks to gain the advantage and throws a wild haymaker that Pamela ducks. She counters with a well-executed German suplex, hoisting Tai off her feet and dumping her unceremoniously on the back of her head.

 

However, Tai is not one to be overpowered. Rising with determination, she charges Rojo with a shoulder tackle and showcases her own strength, executing a delayed vertical suplex. The back-and-forth continues, with both women engaging in power moves. Throughout, Miss Mexico provides encouragement to keep Pamela focused. Eventually, though, it becomes clear that Tai is the stronger woman and begins to assert her dominance, prompting Rojo to tag out.

 

Darkness re-enters the fray with a well-devised plan, maintaining regular tags with Blanca to keep Tai on her toes and regain the advantage. Blanca springs off the ropes, executing a double rotation hurricanrana. As Tai struggles to regain her composure, Blanca tags in Darkness, who springs onto the top rope and lands a flawless "Black Cat Moonsault."

 

The referee swoops down to count, but Raquel charges into the ring, forcefully breaking up the pinfall. The match descends into chaos as all six women engage in an all-out brawl, pushing the referee's ability to restore order to the limits. Amidst the bedlam, Raquel, seizing an opportunity, executes a blind tag and rolls up Blanca for a pin, only to be reminded by the referee that Darkness is the legal woman. A heated argument ensues between Raquel and the referee, while Darkness and Pamela successfully execute a legal tag.

 

With a burst of energy, Estrella and Darkness take out Tai and LMP. As Raquel finds herself spinning around, Pamela delivers a powerful forearm to her face, stunning her. Rojo swiftly lifts Raquel onto her shoulder, parading around the ring before slamming her down with authority in a thunderous "Big Red" power slam.

 

The referee's hand slaps the mat for the count: "One, two, three!".

The bell rings, and the crowd politely applauds the luchadoras. Electric Dreamer, known for her lightning-fast agility, locks up with Queen Amazon, a powerhouse known for her raw strength. Dreamer uses her speed to her advantage, swiftly dodging Amazon's attempts at overpowering her. After one such wild swing, Dreamer seizes the opportunity and executes a lightning-fast dropkick, sending Amazon staggering backward.

 

With the momentum in their favour, Dreamer makes the tag, bringing in Ursula Saez, the powerhouse of the team. Ursula wastes no time and confronts Amazon, overwhelming her with clubbing blows. Eventually, Amazon is able to fight her way back into the match and creates enough separation to tag out. 

 

As the match progresses, the Queens of the Damned attempt to isolate Electric Dreamer, utilising their teamwork and quick tags to keep her grounded. However, Dreamer displays her resilience, mounting a comeback against her opponents. With a burst of energy, she fights back, unleashing a series of lightning-quick strikes that create an opening to escape the clutches of the Queens of the Damned. Dreamer finally makes the crucial tag to Ursula.

 

Ursula and Amazon clash head-on this time, exchanging nasty sounding shots. The crowd pops as Ursula snatches Amazon into the air and throws her to the mat. In the climax of the match, Dreamer wipes out Diablo with a tope suicida as Ursula deadlifts Amazon into a jumping side suplex for the pin.

Could you share your reflections on the events that unfolded?

 

Alina: Oh, mi dulce Dharma, it was a whirlwind of emotions! As I graced the squared circle, my presence shimmering like a radiant star, fate had a surprise in store for me...

Juana: Emma, I know you're not the crowd favourite here, but right now, we have a chance to find common ground. I've been down a similar road, made mistakes, and found redemption. I see a bit of myself in you, and I want to help.
 

[Emma scoffs and rolls her eyes]
 

Emma: Oh, look who it is! The Ronin3 reject, how kind of you to grace me with your presence. You think you can relate to me? Spare me the lecture. 
 

[Juana maintains her calm demeanor, unaffected by Emma's hostility]
 

Juana: I know we’ve had our differences too, but right now, we can put all that aside. I understand the sting of betrayal and I want to help you make a statement against Foxxy, Hellcat, and the rest of Ronin3. I have scores to settle with all of them. But if you think going it solo looks tough, it doesn't. You’re just risking your career for nothing. 
 

[Emma’s defensive facade begins to crack]
 

Emma: Fine, Hurricane, I’ll entertain your idea. But don’t think this makes us friends or anything.

Right from the start, Tameka showcases her power with a series of thunderous slams, overwhelming her opponents; she executes a bone-jarring spinebuster on Perri, followed by a crushing sidewalk slam on Elita. Tameka's dominance is evident, but the lack of variety in her offense starts to take its toll and diminishes the excitement.

 

Sadly, the crowd grows increasingly disinterested, craving a more dynamic and engaging contest. In the end, Tameka finishes off her opponents with a dominating display of strength. She hoists Perri into a “Sky High Choke Slam” and transitions into an Iron Claw for the surprising submission finish

Mercado: I just wanted to check in. I’m really looking forward to our herstory making World Summit match; the very best luchardoras all in the ring at the same time… Well, almost all of them. You see, when I was assembling my team I wanted the most ruthless women, who embrace being bad. I think I did an excellent job but one woman didn’t return my call… 

 

[Maribel smirks as Mariana shifts uncomfortably]

 

Mercado: Poison Ivy! She didn’t return any of my calls. It’s strange, she just disappeared apparently. Such a shame too! She was a big deal... I’m surprised that she would just give up that legacy to fade into obscurity…

 

Torres: I don't care about any of this.

 

Mercado: (mockingly) Oh, come on, Mariana. We all know the truth. You can't hide from your past. Poison Ivy was your identity, your dark side. And now, you expect us to believe you've left it all behind?

 

Torres: (firmly) I have no connection to Poison Ivy. I am Mariana Torres, a completely different person. You can try and distract me but my only focus right now is defeating you at World Summit. 

 

Mercado: (raising an eyebrow) Well, Mariana Torres... If you say so, but, I have a feeling there's more to your story than you're letting on. Don't think you can escape your past so easily.

 

Torres: (defiantly) My past does not define me so don't waste your time digging into it.

[Suzanne smiles disarmingly, her eyes shining with an eerie intensity]

 

Brazzle: Hannah, my dear, I must say I am absolutely thrilled to be here. It's refreshing to see QAW finally hiring someone competent to conduct these interviews.

 

[Hannah chuckles nervously, sensing the underlying unease]

 

Potter: Well, Dharma does her best... Suzanne, your rise in QAW has been quite extraordinary. You've claimed victory after victory and now hold the top prize in the company. You've been very open that after the closure of AAA you faced some setbacks; you must be feeling quite triumphant?

 

[Brazzle's smile widens and tilts her head slightly, her eyes fixated on Hannah]

 

Brazzle: I have spent years honing my craft, accumulating wisdom and inner power. And now, my ascension is simply a testament to the divine forces at work in my life. I radiate confidence and clarity, spreading my gifts of enlightenment to my loyal Fallen Angels.

 

Potter: Speaking of your Fallen Angels, they are all former members of AAA. You've proclaimed that you're here to dismantle QAW and rebuild it in your own image?

 

[Brazzle's smile turns chillingly serene, her voice maintaining its sickly sweetness]

 

Brazzle: Oh, my dear Hannah, it's not about destruction but rather purification. You see, Farrah, who betrayed the promotion that nurtured her, has left us no choice but to restore balance and justice. The anger I once felt has transformed into a guiding force of unwavering positivity. It whispers to me, urging me to rid QAW of its weaknesses and usher in a harmonious new beginning...

 

Potter: And how do you plan to accomplish that?

 

[Brazzle's eyes narrow slightly]

 

Brazzle: Thankfully Farrah's own shortcomings have played into our hands. The mistreatment of Foxxy Larue and Ronin3 led to her personal downfall. But as for QAW, the Fallen Angels hold every championship here, making us the most dominant faction in its herstory. Our goal is to surpass the reigns that came before us, so when the world reflects upon QAW's legacy, they shall see our names shining above all. Let's examine the statistics, shall we?

She's now returned with a show chronicling her journey to sign with USPW. This match is bound to attract significant attention. How do you feel about it?

 

[Brazzle's smile takes on a disturbingly sinister edge, her voice still dripping with false sweetness]

 

Brazzle: Ah, Helene. A worthy opponent with roots in AAA, and a student of mine and Joanne's. Her presence may unsettle some, and I appreciate their discomfort when someone who hasn't paid their dues jumps the queue. However, she has proven herself to be a worthy adversary. The main event at World Summit will serve as a testament to QAW's future, a prophecy painted with my vision. And mark my words, Hannah, it's going to be a masterpiece.

"The Mexican Ace" Pinky Perez, Mariana Torres & Estrella Blanca Vs. Maribel Mercado, Purple Viper & Celeste Moon w/ Unstoppable Tai

From the opening bell, Pinky and Maribel locked eyes, fueling the fire of their heated rivalry. They exchanged lightning-quick strikes, with Pinky landing a stiff forearm smash followed by a crisp snap suplex. Maribel retaliated with a series of kicks and a devastating DDT that left Pinky reeling.

 

Purple Viper lived up to her reputation as a sneaky and dirty fighter. She took advantage of the referee's distraction and raked Pinky's eyes before delivering a cheap shot to the throat. The crowd voiced their disapproval as Purple Viper unleashed a flurry of underhanded tactics, including choking Pinky on the ropes and gouging at the eyes. 

 

Celeste Moon brought her aggressive style to the match, targeting Mariana with relentless strikes and at times seemed unstoppable. Mariana showcased her technical prowess though, countering Celeste's onslaught with grappling and impactful throws. She locked in an armbar, but Celeste managed to reach the ropes, forcing the break.

 

Estrella Blanca added a touch of flair to the match, executing impressive aerial maneuvers. She leaped off the top rope, connecting with a beautiful crossbody that sent Purple Viper crashing to the canvas. Estrella followed up with a stunning springboard moonsault, but Celeste stomped Blanca in the back to break up the count. 

 

Throughout the match, Maribel strategically targeted Mariana's psyche. She taunted her with mocking gestures and derogatory comments, attempting to throw her off her game. Mariana, however, remained focused, and ignored Maribel for the most part. 

 

As the match reached its climax, chaos erupted in the ring. Bodies flew through the air as all six competitors unleashed their signature moves. Pinky looked to come out on top, hitting her “Pink Butterfly Bomb” [Double under-hook powerbomb] on Purple Viper, driving her into the mat with authority and floated over into a side cover. The referee refused to count as Viper wasn't legal, in the split seconds of confusion, Maribel crashed her High Altitude Leg Drop into the back of Pinky's head and scored the upset.

Right from the opening moments, Kate showcased her impressive aerial skills, dazzling the crowd with a picture-perfect springboard moonsault that landed squarely on Mariah, leaving her gasping for air. Meanwhile, Debbie proved to be equally adept in the air, as she soared off the top rope with a diving crossbody, driving Sinda into the canvas.

 

Throughout the contest, Kate and Debbie reveled in their superiority, taunting and tormenting their opponents at every turn. Their seamless teamwork and athleticism were on full display, as they effortlessly countered any attempts of resistance from Mariah and Sinda. With precision and malice, Kate and Debbie executed “The Thorn” [Double-Impaler DDT] that left Sinda incapacitated.

Ash: Y'all have some nerve, struttin' around with them shiny titles like you own the damn place. But let's not forget, at Capital Clash, you and Suzanne Brazzle had to resort to your underhanded tactics to beat us. It was a disgrace, plain and simple.

 

Houston: We had our chance at Capital Clash to prove ourselves, and y'all cheated us out of it. But we ain't gonna sit here and mope about it. No, we're here to set things right. We demand a shot at them titles, fair and square.

 

Teresa: That's right. We're not asking nicely for a handout anymore. Your crew may have us relegated to dark matches but we have won. Every. Single. Match. And you're next.

 

[Debbie and Kate ask for mics from ringside, smirking in response]

 

Debbie: (mocking tone) Oh, look at you, all fired up and ready to whine! You think you can just demand a shot at us? Well, guess what? We don't give a damn. If Commissioner Bomb is booking you that way... then maybe you should be grateful you're even getting booked at all?

 

Kate: (smirking) I couldn't agree more. You had your chance, and you blew it. Just like The Furies, the era of The Line is over. It's time to accept it with some grace and dignity, don't you think?

 

[Lilly & Rose laugh arrogantly in the faces of The Line, fueling Teresa's anger]

 

Teresa: To hell with this! I know my worth, and I'm willing to put my career on the line to prove it!

 

[Lilly & Rose's laughter fades, and they exchange whispers]

 

Ash: Hold on, Teresa. I understand your frustration, but puttin' your career on the line is one hell of a risk. We've worked too damn hard to throw it all away.

 

Teresa: (angrily) Ash, don't you see? This isn't just about a shot at the titles. It's about the way we've been treated, the injustice we've faced. I don't want to keep working in QAW under this regime if it means being held back and overlooked!

 

Houston: (calmly) Teresa, I get where you're comin' from but think this through...

 

Debbie: (mockingly) You know deep down you don't stand a chance against us. Might as well walk away now before you embarrass yourselves even more.

 

Kate: (mockingly) Yeah, don't be foolish. We've beaten you before, and we'll do it again. But if you're so desperate to risk it all, who are we to stop you?

 

Ash: (pleading) Don't listen to 'em, Teresa. We can find another way to make things right.

 

Teresa: (pauses, conflicted) Taking risks is the only way to make real change. I want to prove that we're not just warm-up acts, that we're worthy of the spotlight again. If Houston is with me, then we're doing this.

 

Houston: (determined) I've got your back. If this is what it takes, then I’m in.

 

Debbie: (laughs) You two are even dumber than we thought! Consider the match set. But just remember, when we're done with you, your careers will be dust!

[Christy scoffs and crosses her arms, clearly displaying her contempt towards LMP]

 

Higgins: I really don’t have time for this. You had your chance to join us, to be part of something bigger, but you failed. Pamela Rojo won, and you let us down.

 

LMP: I did my best. You lost to her as well…

 

Higgins: Wow! I had a bad ankle that weekend AND you didn’t soften her up for me. I would of won for sure otherwise. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to speak to Foxxy.

 

LMP: Why?

Higgins: You mean your only friend. I think it’s time for a reality check; You were on top as the Shockwave champion for a long time, and pissed everyone off along the way. But now, things have changed. The Fallen Angels have taken over, and I hold the championship. I have to look out for myself and you're a threat to me.

 

[LMP looks hurt by Christy's words]

 

LMP: I’m not a threat to you…? We’re friends.

 

[Christy takes a moment to consider LMP's words, her expression hardens]

 

Higgins: Friends? We didn’t bump into each other in 5SSW by mistake. I used you to get here. And if you’re being honest with yourself, you used me as well, to keep your reign going. I hadn’t heard from you in years and then all of a sudden you remembered we were best friends, huh? That we were AAA tag champions together? Bullshit.

 

LMP: I never meant to make you feel that way. I admit I might not have been as present as I should have, but things were taking off for me and I got caught up in it... But I want to make it up to you--

 

[Christy interrupts LMP]

 

Higgins: Exactly. You forgot about me. When AAA closed I never heard from you! I was in a dark place for a long time and not even a text from you. And you have the nerve to pretend we have this amazing friendship! Newsflash, we don’t! And that’s exactly why I’m with the Fallen Angels; they were there for me. And just so it’s crystal clear, I have my own path now, and you have yours. It's time to move on.

 

[LMP's eyes well up with tears, but she nods, accepting Christy's decision]

 

LMP: If that's what you want, Christy.

 

[Christy looks conflicted for a moment, then turns away, her voice filled with bitterness]

 

Higgins: If you keep your head down then maybe you’ll get through what we have planned unscathed.

Fuyuko Higa Vs. Simony Sentinel

Fuyuko Higa, wasted no time unleashing a barrage of lightning-fast kicks and devastating strikes. She connected with a thunderous roundhouse kick, followed by a series of rapid-fire strikes that left Simony reeling. Fuyuko showcased her technical prowess with a beautiful snap suplex, seamlessly transitioning into a front face lock and then rolling into a Muta-Lock, applying relentless pressure on her opponent.

 

Simony absorbed the punishment and reached the ropes. And to the surprise of everyone fought back with a vengeance. She utilised her agility to counter Fuyuko's strikes, delivering an enzuigiri that sent Fuyuko crashing to the canvas. Simony unleashed her breakneck high-flying offense, executing a springboard crossbody that popped the crowd.

 

As the match intensified, Fuyuko displayed her versatility, seamlessly transitioning between strikes and submissions. She locked in an ankle lock, torquing Simony's leg with precision. But Simony refused to tap out, reaching the ropes again to break the hold. Undeterred, Fuyuko stalked Simony as she got back to her feet, limping slightly, and cracked Simony with a devastating spinning back fist.

 

In a final display, Fuyuko drove Simony into the canvas with the “Higa Green Driver” [Destino] for the victory, marking Higa’s sixth consecutive win in QAW, and remaining undefeated in singles competition.

Alina: Business? Oh, how dull!

 

Emma: (icily) Well, I don’t know if you heard but Hellcat and Ashley Keith joined Foxxy’s team at World Summit? Y’know, the two women you swore revenge on? Speaking of, how is Danielle doing?

 

[Juana interrupts]

 

Juana: Danielle is a good friend of mine and honourary member of Storm Front. Don’t ask if you don’t mean it, Emma.

 

[Emma bites her tongue as Alina eyes them both warily]

 

Alina: She is at home recovering. I won’t tell her you asked. I can see where this is going and the prospect of helping you is very unpleasant, Emma. But, I swore revenge on Hellcat and Ashley, and you would be the lesser of two evils right now...

 

[Emma scoffs]

 

Juana: I think what Emma means to say is 'thank you'… Listen, we’ve all been doing this long enough to know the enemy of my enemy is my friend sometimes. If we work together we all get to settle some scores, and make some money doing it.

 

[Alina lets out a hearty laugh]

 

Alina: Now you’re talking my language, Juana! What about the rest of the team? Unfortunately Danielle isn’t going to be cleared for World Summit, otherwise we could of asked her… What about the rest of Storm Front?

 

Juana: Sonnaz isn’t ready for this and Alexis needs to be careful with her neck after what Hellcat did to her…

 

Alina: I’ll put in a call to Yuma!

 

[Emma snorts in disbelief]

 

Emma: You’d get Yuma Maruya here?

Potter: QAW faithful thank you for joining me, Hannah Potter, for another intimate sit down with one of QAW’s stars. Although, strictly speaking, my guest today isn’t necessarily apart of QAW; that’s because she’ll be making her QAW debut in the main event of World Summit later this month when she challenges for the world championship! Welcome Helene Svennson!

 

Helene: Thank you for having me Hannah.

 

Potter: This month at World Summit you have what is arguably the biggest match of your wrestling career when you challenge Suzanne Brazzle for the QAW World championship. A little known fact is that Suzanne was one of the people who trained you to be a professional wrestler. How do you feel going into this match?

 

Helene: I’m feeling a range of emotions Hannah. First and foremost I am excited to get in the ring and entertain the fans. And I’m eager to prove myself in the ring against Suzanne, my mentor. I know she has a whole bag of tricks she never shared with me, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t learnt my own! And I’m nervous. This is my first match in a few years and I have the added pressure of my reality show “Heel Turn on the Catwalk: Helene Svennson's Reality Wrestling” coming back for it’s second season filming the match.

 

Potter: That's right, your hit reality TV show. For those who don’t know your first season documented your pivot from modelling into wrestling. Ultimately seeing you succeed with a contract in AAA. Can you tell us what made you want to do that?

 

Helene: Professional wrestling isn’t as popular in Sweden as it is here, so I didn’t grow up with a passion for it. It’s pretty well known now that towards the end of my modelling career I was hacked and some pictures of me were shared online without my permission. That experience was so violating. It went beyond humilation. I know that some people think I cashed in on using the attention to get into acting but I had no choice but to make the best of a shitty situation. Then as I was working a reality show was pitched to me and AAA, and we both liked the concept. So, why not? Admittedly, I didn't quite know what I was getting myself in for. But I have no regrets.

 

Potter: So, how do you feel about professional wrestling now?
 

Helene: I love professional wrestling. I took some time off to rehab an injury and I’m ready to climb to the top of this industry, where I belong. If I want to make it to USPW I need to be noticed, and I know conquering QAW will do just that. I don’t get the luxury of saying “Better luck next time” if I don’t win. So at World Summit, I need to win the QAW World championship and make sure my name is getting noticed again. I’m sorry it has to come at the expense of my mentor, but she has her own mission to, so I know she’ll understand how it feels to be this determined to win. Bring it on, Suzanne!

Toni "New York" Parisi w/ Vinny Cruz [Ronin3] Vs. Juana Hurricane [Storm Front]

An interesting preview for the Team Emma v Team Foxxy match at World Summit that sees the former members of the legendary Crackdown tag team face off. The first ever QAW World Tag Team champions. The record holders for longest reign and most defences of said belts as well. Obviously, there has been bad blood since their split three years ago when Juana was run out of Ronin3 by Toni and, then leader, Jillian Jarvis.

 

Juana entered to a rousing ovation, her focus entirely on the ring. She ignores Toni’s taunts and steps into the ring, ready to settle their score.
 

The two women circle each other cautiously, eyes locked. Toni lunges forward, attempting to catch Juana off-guard, but Juana expertly evades, slipping behind Toni and shoving her into a turnbuckle. Toni charges again, and Juana manages the same tactic causing the crowd to laugh at Toni.

 

This aggravates Toni and she squares up to Juana in the centre of the ring exchanging words. Suddently Toni swings a wild haymaker, but Juana ducks and responds with a swift kick to the midsection, doubling her over. Juana whips Toni into the ropes and on the rebound catches her in the face with a dropkick.

 

Toni rolls out the ring to catch her breath, but Juana isn’t letting up. She runs the ropes and smashes into Toni’s back with a baseball slide, crashing Toni into the barricade. The referee pleads with them to get into the ring and reluctantly begins to count as Juana batters Toni around the ringside area smashing her into the ring apron and barricades.

 

At the eight count Juana grabs Toni by the hair and rolls her back into the ring. As she follows, Vinny Cruz also gets onto the ring apron shouting at Juana, who is only momentarily distracted, but it’s enough of an opening for Toni to blindside her with a sucker punch and rake to the eyes. Toni seizes control and returns the beating targeting Juana’s limbs and back with ruthless stomps and knee drops before locking in an armbar, wrenching Juana’s shoulder.

 

However, taking it to the mat was a sign of Toni’s arrogance as she was never the technical wrestler in their tag team and she is unable to to truly lock in the submission. Juana, showing her resilience, manages to counter the armbar into a small package roll-up, but Toni kicks out.

The match continues with both women exchanging momentum, but Juana starts to gain the upper hand with her technical prowess countering Toni’s brawling with precise counters and taking to the fight to the ground. Finally, after a grueling back-and-forth exchange, Juana catches Toni off-guard with a sudden german suplex, leaving Toni stunned on the mat.

 

Juana quickly locks in the Time-square Lock [Arm-trap Texas Cloverleaf], bridging back and applying pressure on Toni’s lower back.

 

Toni claws at the mat for the ropes, but the pain becomes too much to bear. She taps out!

Potter: Welcome, QAW faithful. My name is Hannah Potter, and it's my pleasure to be here tonight with one of the amazing Queens of American Wrestling—Little Miss Perfect!
 

LMP: Hi Hannah, thanks for having me.
 

Potter: Not many people know this, but before becoming Little Miss Perfect, you were Sarah Taylor. Who was she?
 

LMP: Well, before Sarah Taylor, there was Andromache Sparkell—yes, that’s my name. My parents are the nicest people you’ll ever meet and, for lack of a better description, "free spirits." We lived in a couple of communes around the Bay Area, and there wasn’t much structure. But life was good for the most part; I was the president of my school's drama club, and I was a pretty good softball player. But I had a dark secret...
 

Potter: And what was that secret?
 

LMP: I wanted to be a professional wrestler. I loved everything about it, but my parents weren't keen on anything related to violence and conflict. I don't think they would have banned me from doing it, but I just knew to keep it to myself, y'know?
 

Potter: So, you knew you wanted to be a professional wrestler all along?
 

LMP: Pretty much! I didn't have the money to train for a few years, so I concentrated on working. Besides, there wasn't really anywhere around me to work. So AAA became my goal, and getting into their training school; I sold everything I had and took a gamble by moving to Seattle.
 

Potter: The training school you're referring to is the "Cat's Lair," named after Catherine Quine, a legendary wrestler who trained the likes of Jaime Quine, Sara Marie York, and Tiffany Jade.
 

LMP: Correct. I was trained by Cherry Bomb as well. It was a fantastic school, and they obviously helped me become the talent I am today!
 

Potter: And that's when you took on the Sarah Taylor name? Why?
 

LMP: After growing up with a name like Andromache, I just wanted something…simple. No nonsense. And that was reflected in my wrestling style.
 

Potter: So, you graduated in 2014 straight to the AAA roster, where many labeled you as a rising star; in just three years, you captured both the Top Contenders and World Tag Team championships. Many pegged you as a future Femme Fatale champion, but unfortunately, AAA closed its doors.
 

LMP: That's right. In fact, I was the last Top Contenders champion. It was a massive shock when AAA closed because I thought we were doing well! I felt ready to prove myself as a singles champion and take it to the next level. It was a really bittersweet moment to be the last champion.
 

Potter: What was life like after AAA?
 

LMP: It was uncertain. Many of us hit the independent circuit and kept in touch, but there was definitely a sense of great loss. I don't want to call it a downgrade, but it was. But one day, I heard that The Uprising signed with 5SSW and were headed out, and it inspired me to take a risk and move again. I had heard of QAW and liked what they were about, so I contacted Farrah and took everything down south for a try-out. Obviously, it was a success, and here I am.


 

Potter: What I want to know is how you went from plain Sarah Taylor to Little Miss Perfect?
 

LMP: I just wanted to fit in when I got to QAW and took a great interest in everyone. Then one day, I overheard people referring to me as "Little Miss Perfect" in a derogatory way. I was really hurt by that, but instead of dwelling on it, I decided to piss them off even more. So I owned it.
 

Potter: You really have owned it. It's safe to say you made a big impact and you sit here before us as the longest-reigning QAW Shockwave champion. Tell us more about that.
 

LMP: Well, Hellcat Hernandez and Pamela Rojo were having major issues and feuding over the belt. I was doing my thing and getting major "go away" heel heat, and I think I just became undeniable in terms of the title picture, despite this blood feud going on around it. So, I stuck my nose in their business and snatched the title right from under their noses.
 

Potter: Are you proud of the reign?
 

LMP: It started off well, but I got humbled real quick after my loss to Megumi Nakajiima at Battlebowl. She beat my ass around the ring, and everyone knew it, and I think my popularity took a big nosedive. Yes, I think things picked up when Christy came onto the scene, but as we all know now that was disingenuous, and she stole the championship right from me. Just like I did to Hellcat Hernandez.
 

Potter: Surely this is much worse?
 

LMP: Yes, you're right. I can really relate to what Pamela is saying about Suzanne these days. They have been playing the long game and manipulating people in a really sinister way. Christy is telling me that every interaction we've had for over a year has been fake, and that includes what I thought were private moments on the road and in our personal lives. If you can actively deceive someone on that level, then there really is something wrong with you.
 

Potter: So, where does that leave you with Christy now?
 

LMP: I have tried to make amends. Christy is right that considering we were best friends in AAA, I was not the best friend in the aftermath of its closure. I didn't tell her about QAW until I was already there, and I was wrapped up in salvaging my own career. I can only say sorry so many times, and she's certainly reminded me plenty of times that she doesn't want to hear it. I can kinda see where the Fallen Angels are coming from, but they are going about it poorly. They want to "erase" legacies and, eventually, QAW itself from the herstory books because they are mad at Farrah Hesketh? They should be mad at Catherine Quine and Commissioner Bomb for not looking after the books properly. When it comes to the Shockwave Championship, I am the longest-reigning champion—Christy Higgins is not going to surpass me!

Mariana Torres Vs. Purple Viper
 

Mariana and Viper circle each other inside the wrestling ring, going through a feeling-out process and exchanging swift chain wrestling sequences, showcasing their lucha libre heritage. Mariana gains the upper hand, executing a series of arm drag takedowns and precision dropkicks.
 

Viper, never one to play fair, ruthlessly rakes Mariana's eyes and snaps her neck down on the ropes. Mariana winces in agony, blindsided by Viper's underhanded tactics.
 

Capitalizing on Mariana's vulnerability, Viper targets Mariana's neck with clubbing blows and a shoulder breaker. She taunts the crowd, reveling in the chorus of boos as she takes control of the match.
 

Mariana remains resolute, countering a body slam by sliding over Viper's back into a roll-up for a close two-count. In retaliation, Viper gouges Mariana's eyes and swiftly delivers a swinging neckbreaker.
 

As the match progresses, Viper's rule-bending tactics escalate. She mercilessly rakes Mariana's eyes against the ropes, grinning as Mariana clutches her face in pain. The referee steps in to admonish Viper, providing Mariana with a brief respite.
 

Suddenly, Mariana charges forward, delivering stiff punches and stomping a mudhole into her stunned opponent. This time, the referee is compelled to pull Mariana away to restore order. Undeterred, Mariana brushes the referee aside and returns to the corner, viciously kicking Viper.
 

The crowd gasps as Mariana, displaying uncharacteristic aggression, seizes Viper by the hair and whips her across the ring. However, Viper's cunning prevails as she pulls Mariana into the turnbuckle. As Mariana stumbles back, Viper seizes the opening, planting her with a reverse DDT.
 

Mariana refuses to stay down and defiantly kicks out at one. Viper, staying true to her form, chokes Mariana, eliciting a chorus of boos from the crowd, and releases at the four count. Viper signals the end of the match and sets Mariana up for the "Viper Bite" [Hidden Blade]. But Mariana dodges the move and fights back. With the crowd rallying behind her, Mariana channels her frustration into a series of hard strikes, culminating in a thunderous lariat.
 

Viper retreats to the ropes, but Mariana isn't finished. She chokes Viper on the ropes, seeking payback for Viper's earlier tactics. Once again, the referee is forced to intervene. In a final bid to test Mariana's patience, Viper pushes the referee into her, and in the commotion, attempts to spit black mist into Mariana's face. However, Mariana dodges it with lightning reflexes.
 

The crowd roars as Viper's mist backfires, staining the canvas instead. Mariana capitalizes on this opportunity, seizing Viper's arm and rolling her into a punishing arm-bar, known as the "Venus Fly Trap." Viper is trapped, her escape routes cut off, and she is forced to tap out.

Snyder: This is bullshit though! We had that match won, if it weren't for that mystery woman interfering...
 

Brayfield: (nodding) Y'all fought valiantly and did me proud. In truth, y'all always have. There are folks 'round these parts who don't hold tag team wrestling in high esteem, but I surely do. It takes a little extra to meld with another soul, to stand together as a singular force. Y'all possess that special somethin'. And if I'm bein' straight, I believe I've passed on every nugget of wisdom I hold... Maybe it's time for you to carve your own path and show the world the prowess of The Experience.
 

[Lily and Ava appear disheartened, but they nod in agreement, their heads hung low]
 

Anderson: We're grateful for all you've done, Brayfield.
 

Snyder: (softly) Thank you. We’ll be back on top in no time. What’s next for you, Brayfield?
 

Brayfield: I'm thinkin' 'bout takin' a little breather and scoutin' out some fresh prospects. I'll be needin' some tough broads to challenge you down the road...
 

[Brayfield grins and tips his cowboy hat to his former protégés. He begins to depart but hesitates...]
 

Brayfield: (earnestly) Hear me out, gals. Y'all know I ain't got a taste for Hellcat Hernandez nor her Clenched Fist shenanigans. Forkin' over a portion of your winnings to this shady enterprise with barely a dime to show for it.
 

[Ava and Lily squirm somewhat sheepishly]
 

Brayfield: (gravely) Word's been driftin' 'round that The Uprising was lookin' to bring Hellcat's new protection venture into the fold and undercut your tourney run. The lass who meddled in your match is Danger Mushashibo. The spawn of the legendary Yoshimi Mushashibo? Does that strike a chord?
 

Anderson: (concerned) Indeed, it does. What's your drift, Brayfield?
 

Brayfield: (whispers) I conversed with Fuyuko, and she ain't a cog in the Japanese Clenched Fist. She's never set foot in 5SSW. So, I had a chat with Commissioner Bomb, and she relayed that Danger was recommended as a potential signee by Hellcat a few weeks back.
 

[Ava and Lily exchange uneasy glances]
 

Brayfield: Keep your peepers peeled on that ringleader of yours, gals. By now, you oughta know she's solely fixated on the mighty dollar.

Ash, at World Summit this weekend, your partners Tex-Mex are putting their careers on the line for a shot at the QAW World Tag Team Championships. Could you offer some insight into their mindset? What's driving them to take such a drastic step?
 

Ash: Well, sugah, it's a real dang shame to see my buddies feelin' so beat down by their time here that they're willin' to risk their livelihoods just to secure the recognition they darn well earned. Since Farrah left QAW and Commissioner Bomb gained unchecked power, Tex-Mex found themselves shoved down the ladder, stuck in dark matches for half a year despite winnin' 'em all. And yet, they're left outta the tag team tourney? Somethin' ain't right there. Hate that it's come down to this, but I gotta tip my hat to their determination. I'm plumb confident they're gonna step up to Lilly & Rose at World Summit and keep on journeyin' as champions right here in QAW—
 

[Abruptly, QAW Shockwave champion, Christy Higgins, strides onto the scene]


 

Christy: Oh, I totally overheard your little speech. Just had to mosey on over when I heard you mention Lilly & Rose, my teammates, losing their belts this weekend... Seriously, are you for real? Is that cowgirl hat squishing your brains?
 

[Christy tries to adjust Ash's hat, but Ash swiftly swats her hand away, her demeanor growing more intense]

Ash: You best back off right now.
 

Christy: So, like, you're here going on about your buddies taking risks for gold. And to some extent, I kinda respect that... So, when are you finally gonna step up? Are you gonna snag yourself some gold, or just stay comfy on the bench?
 

[Ash crosses her arms, a steely determination in her eyes, wholly unimpressed by Christy's remarks]

Ash: When the time's right, I'll be chasin' my own championship, don't you worry. But for now, my focus is on standin' behind my pals.
 

Christy: Well, whenever you're done warming the bench, I’ll be waiting.
 

[Christy saunters off, leaving Ash looking resolute and undeterred]

An interesting tag-team match that sees Suzanne tagging with her World Summit title challenger, and protege, Helene Svennson. Due to their prior relationship commentary notes Suzanne insisted on tagging with Helene. 
 

The match kicks off with Honey Badger's wild brawling style. She charges at Suzanne, but Suzanne gracefully sidesteps and answers with a beautifully executed dropkick, sending Honey Badger crashing into her corner. Suzanne then motions for Helene to tag in.

After a moment's hesitation, Helene enters the ring, displaying a mixture of nerves and determination on her face. Marie also enters, and the two competitors circle each other. Helene initiates a cautious grapple, but Marie's kickboxing background becomes evident as she lands a sharp roundhouse kick, catching Helene off guard.
 

Marie gains control, unleashing a series of well-placed kicks and knee strikes. Suzanne watches intently from the apron, offering guidance and strategy to help Helene regain control. Helene begins to rally, driven by her determination, showcases her technical prowess by countering Marie's strikes with precision take downs and submission holds. 
 

As the match unfolds, Helene makes several attempts to tag out but Suzanne encourages her protege to stay in the match as she holds the advantage. The Rage senses this opportunity and seizes the momentum. They isolate Helene, exploiting her mounting fatigue. With the audience firmly behind her, Helene summons a burst of energy, determined to overcome the odds. Just as Marie advances for another attack, Helene counters with a sudden burst of offense, executing a swift and impactful DDT that takes her opponent by surprise.
 

Helene, her adrenaline surging, inches toward her corner for a crucial tag, but Suzanne continues to insist she stay in the match. Honey enters the match and drags Helene away from her corner and continues the assault. But overconfidence strikes and Helene scores a jaw-breaker. 
 

Unexpectedly, Suzanne blind tags herself in just as Helene delivers another impactful move. The crowd is left in shock as Suzanne enters the ring, capitalising on Honey's stunned state. Suzanne hits the “Miracle Connection” [Michinoku Driver] and takes the win. 
 

After the match, Helene looks extremely annoyed and exits the ring, pushing away her reality TV camera crew from filming her at one point.

Potter: Welcome, QAW faithful. My name is Hannah Potter, and today I have the honor of being joined by the poised and regal "Miss Perfection" Fuyuko Higa. Welcome, Fuyuko!
 

Higa: Konnichiwa, Hannah.
 

Potter: Fuyuko, you made your QAW debut last year during Battlebowl when we hosted stars from 5SSW. However, for those unfamiliar with your illustrious career beforehand, could you share a bit about your journey?

Higa: Of course. I emerged from the esteemed 5SSW dojo system over a decade ago, under the mentorship of Thunder Hike, a legendary joshi wrestler. During my tenure with 5SSW, I held the titles of All-Asian and World Tag Team Champion, and I proudly won the prestigious J Grand Prix.
 

Potter: Most impressive. Now, you're known by the moniker "Miss Perfection." Can you elaborate on the significance of that name?
 

Higa: "Miss Perfection" reflects my philosophy, Hannah. In every aspect of this art form, I strive for excellence. It's that simple.
 

Potter: While many stars from 5SSW returned to Japan, you chose to continue your journey here in QAW. Can you shed light on your decision?
 

Higa: The world deserves to witness my craft. In Japan, I garnered recognition, but here, people have yet to fully appreciate what I offer. I aim to prove that my strong style technique is unparalleled. My affiliation with the COTT alliance allows me to extend my reach to other nations in pursuit of the COTT Women’s World Championship.

 

Potter: Capital Clash saw you partnering with the current champion, Maribel Mercado, and maintaining an undefeated singles record since. Do you have plans to seize the championship soon?
 

Higa: Patience is a virtue, Hannah. I prefer to wait for the precise moment to make my move. When that moment arrives, rest assured, I will not falter.
 

Potter: Fascinating. I've also been curious about your connection with Hellcat Hernandez and the Clenched Fist. Are you a part of that faction?
 

Higa: Hellcat and her associates visited Japan last year, forging friendships with myself and others. While factions weren't prevalent in 5SSW until then, they enlightened us on their significance, especially within the Clenched Fist network. After their departure, several of us, including Shiori-san, Toku-san, Tai-san, and Gemmei-san, chose to continue their legacy.
 

Potter: Indeed, it seems splinter groups are emerging worldwide. Are you able to disclose the leader of your network?
 

Higa: That information remains confidential, Hannah.
 

Potter: I understand. So, does your group contribute financially?
 

Higa: That's not a matter for public discussion.
 

Potter: Understood. Does this mean you're aligned with Hellcat's group here in QAW?
 

Higa: No, Hannah. While Hellcat has her methods, I lead the Clenched Fist in 5SSW. Hellcat and I are equals, each with our distinct approaches. Her group, you could say, is less accomplished than mine. They resort to undervaluing themselves by seeking employment. We, on the other hand, operate differently.
 

Potter: It seems you have reservations about Hellcat's leadership?
 

[Fuyuko smiles enigmatically, removes her microphone, and departs, leaving Hannah to conclude the segment]

Rojo: You know, they say desperate times call for desperate measures. Well, I've been there, done that. I've seen the darkest corners of this business, and I've fought my way out of them. And now, I stand before you, not as someone seeking redemption, but as a force that will take what's rightfully mine!

[Pamela's voice grows more intense with each word]

Rojo: Suzanne Brazzle, you used me, manipulated me, and cast me aside like yesterday's news. You played your little mind games, pretended to be my friend, all while plotting to steal the very thing I've worked my entire career for - the QAW World Championship!
 

[Pamela clenches her fists, a fire burning in her eyes]

Rojo: You thought throwing every opponent in my path would break me? You thought wrong. Each one only fueled the fire inside me, reminding me of what I'm capable of, and what's at stake. I've faced adversity. I've tasted betrayal. And I've emerged stronger than ever before!

[Pamela's expression hardens as she delivers her final message]

Rojo: So, mystery opponent, it doesn't matter who you are or what tricks you bring to the ring. You're just another obstacle in my path, and I'll do whatever it takes to tear you apart! Because when the dust settles, there will be no doubt in anyone's mind - I'm coming for Suzanne Brazzle, and nothing is stopping me.

Alina America, the fiery face of QAW, initiated the bout for her team, squaring off against the rough-and-ready Toni Parisi. They locked up in the centre of the ring, treating the crowd to a display of slick chain wrestling. Alina gained the upper hand with a swift arm drag take down. She swiftly followed it up with a lightning-quick dropkick, sending Toni reeling into her corner.
 

Realising she needed a respite, Toni hastily tagged in Hellcat Hernandez. Alina didn't waste a moment and made her own tag to Juana Hurricane. Juana entered the ring, and as she locked eyes with Hellcat, a palpable disdain filled the arena. Their history was fraught with hostility, and the animosity became evident in the heated exchange of words before the match resumed.
 

Hellcat, known for her mean street-fighting style, attempted to overpower Juana with sheer force. However, Juana's technical prowess shone as she countered with precision, executing a beautifully executed flying head-scissors take down. Hellcat rolled out of the ring to regain her composure and immediately tagged in Ashley, prompting Juana to tag Alina back in.
 

Ashley's imposing size and raw power gave her the upper hand as she effortlessly overpowered Alina. With a ruthless suplex, she brought Alina crashing down to the canvas. Taunting her, Ashley cruelly reminded Alina of the injury inflicted upon Danielle Sweetheart. As Ashley worked over Alina, the match quickly devolved into a three-on-one scenario in the rudo corner.
 

The crowd's anticipation reached a fever pitch as Emma May repeatedly called for a tag. Hellcat, however, grew overly confident. Seizing an opportunity, Alina floated over a body slam attempt and pushed Hellcat into the turnbuckle, finally securing the hot tag.
 

Emma wasted no time and immediately set her sights on Hellcat. The two fierce competitors engaged in a chaotic brawl around the ring, even spilling to the outside. The referee began the count, urging them to return to the ring. Despite Hellcat slamming Emma into the steel steps, Emma's resilience prevailed as she retaliated with a swift knee to Hellcat's midsection.
 

As Emma and Hellcat continued their ringside brawl, they paid no heed to the referee's count. At one point, Ashley attempted to retrieve a steel chair but was intercepted by both Alina and Juana. Hellcat rolled into the ring and tagged in Toni, who rushed Emma as she entered. However, Emma easily gained the upper hand and locked Toni into a tight triangle hold, cinching it in with precision.
 

The crowd erupted as Toni struggled desperately to escape the submission hold. But in the end, the pain became too much to bear, and Toni had no choice but to tap out, once again.
 

Alina, Juana, and Emma celebrated their hard-fought triumph in the ring, while Hellcat and Ashley stormed away, leaving a battered Toni behind.

I'm really trying to find a spot that works for Darkness Cat but she doesn't hold up in singles matches-- A transition into the tag division with Estrella Blanca makes sense. Hopefully she can snag a title at last...
