Historian's Nominations for Jan. 2021 Diary of the Month

This is my complete nominations -- I limited myself to the maximum of three per category though there were many more I wanted to nominate. I also decided that 2021 was an opportunity to start taking full use of the Showcase of the Month to highlight things other than graphics (I seem to always focus on the look) but I tried to highlight champions and workers and signings/reveals as well. There were far more quality things happening than I could possibly nominate and I want to thank everyone active on these boards right now with diaries and with interacting with diaries for making this such a wonderful community. Also, since this is the first month that BeTheBooker.net diaries are eligible, I made sure to include a couple of them, I specified which ones they were.

The actual event itself was in February but the majority of the build up was in January. In general shows like these (promotion vs promotion) can sometime seem less important in a sense because they can be more of an exhibition and a break from the storylines. This did a good job of briefly building up a lot of new 5SSW workers with backstage posts running down the card and tour dates building up storylines. </p><p> </p><p>

I think quite a few people have enjoyed the slow build of Owusu earning his way back into the league. There's plenty of other highlights I could have given the nod to but this went on throughout January.</p><p> </p><p>
