Nice show! Do you had higher expectations for the main event?

Thanks man.  Was expecting atleast in the mid 80's and definitely did not expected the main event to be overshadowed by Konoe - Funakoshi.

Really good first show. I was first confused with so many titles being created and defended in first place but it was pretty decent here. Still loving the INSPIRE Koiso gimmick

Thanks man. This re-incarnation of INSPIRES in the Alternate Cverse has many many titles. There were 2 lower midcard titles which i combined into one, the Pure Championship. Then you have 2 midcard titles, Japanese and Middleweight, two upper midcard titles, All Asia and Strong Style and the main title, Heavyweight Title. There are also two tag teams - All Asia and World Heavyweight Tag. So, ya lot of titles but i will try and create storylines around all the titles.

PREDICTIONS

CGN91 - 5/8

Dawn - 5/8

Wrestling Machine - 4/8

MONTHLY REPORT - JANUARY

We had just delivered our biggest attended event till date as the Toyota Stadium was sold out. Although i was a little disappointed that me and Koiso could not deliver an epic match as was advertised. Maybe it was due to us squaring off for the first time or maybe the weight of the expectations were too much. But i was surprised by Konoe and Funakoshi, they had just blown away their previous encounter to pieces. Konoe has really shined in his role as the leader of Xtreme Corps and i am expecting big things from him and his faction.

I checked the finances. A solid 673K in profit, we had closed the season on a high. Now it was time to go to the drawing board and create new storylines, the main event one was set and we had to work on others. I got a bit of bad news which i had to share it with my boss so i picked up the phone.

Kikkawa: Hello Komine-san, i have something important to tell you.

Komine: Please go ahead and congratulations on our most successful Wrestle Summit although was a bit annoyed with the main event, would have expected more.

Kikkawa: I know and sorry for that but we have some more unfortunate news............Morimasa Kato is gone.

Komine: What do you mean??

Kikkawa: He has signed with BHOTWG and we are without our Japanese Champion.

Komine: Sue him then.

Kikkawa: We can't. It was his last month and he did not take our offer and instead went to them.

Komine: What, not even putting over a new Japanese champ?? Well, fine i don't care, make a story out of it and i am sending you a list of names on your Whatsapp, sign them before our next tour starts.

I don't know much about the alternate mod but losing Kato won't affect you long term I guess. He's a good solid hand but not a mega star like Koiso or Kikkawa was.

Ya, he was a pretty low in the order so not much of a loss but the only thing is he didn't give us a chance to crown a new Japanese champ.

Also the champions have been updated in the second post now.

D-ROAD TOUR PRESS CONFERENCE

The conference started with Kaneie Komine welcoming everyone and he brought Sotatsu Sorumura with him who was wearing the brand new INSPIRE Pure Title on his shoulders. Komine went over the rules for the title matches for this belt and mentioned that it will be defended throughout the tour and even in big events if the occasion warrants it. The only way to win the match will be either through submission or by keeping your opponent down for 10 count. Only two rope breaks are allowed in the entire match and anybody taking one more than that will be docked 2 points which will be the deciding factor if no finish is reached by the end of time limit of 10 minutes.

Hiroyashu Gakusha and Toshiro Hyobanshi then came on stage and said they are proud to represent this company as the World Heavyweight Tag Team Champions and since they hold the tag titles in such high regard they want the Forbidden Alliance to be at the forefront of everything tag team wrestling. And so, they have just signed a new team for their Alliance who would be helping them to bring the All Asia Tag Titles to the faction. The new members came on stage............................they were none other than.................................

GAIJIN PRIDE.............................Barry Kingman and Dean Daniels.................Former 3 time GCG World Tag Team Champions as they joined their team mates on stage.

Finally the Pride Warriors came on stage laughing and ridiculing INSPIRE Koiso as Kwakami, Ugaki and Kawashima berates the champ and say this will be the hardest 3 months ever for the champ as the only meaning of D-Road he will understand will be Damage Road as his body will be damaged beyond recognition once the tour ends with March.

Komine ends the conference by releasing the official schedule , this is the first of the two tri-monthly tours that INSPIRE runs every year and also promises some more new faces that will join the promotion.

February: D-Road Tour Night #1 - #6

February PPV: Detonation (Main Event: INSPIRE World Heavyweight Championship - INSPIRE Koiso (c) vs Akinori Kwakami)

March:  D-Road Tour Night #7 - #13

March PPV: Demolition (Main Event: INSPIRE World Heavyweight Championship - INSPIRE Koiso (c) vs Masari Ugaki) (if Koiso survives Kwakami)

April:  D-Road Tour Night #13 - #18

April PPV: Destruction (Main Event: INSPIRE World Heavyweight Championship - INSPIRE Koiso (c) vs Kozue Kawashima) (if Koiso survives Kwakami and Ugaki)

 D-ROAD TOUR FEBRUARY RECAP

Sotatsu Sorumura was a different player coming into this first month of the D-Road tour as he defended his Pure Title against Willie York and Atsusane Inukai.

1. Sotatsu Sarumara defeated Willie York in 9:10 by submission with a Mounted Arm Lock. Sotatsu Sarumara makes defense #1 of the INSPIRES Pure title. 38

2. Sotatsu Sarumara defeated Atsusane Inukai in 7:30 by submission with a Mounted Arm Lock. Sotatsu Sarumara makes defense #2 of the INSPIRES Pure title. 44

But he met his match as the 1st ever champion of the now defunct Knockouts Title, Wael Hossam announced his intentions for the title when he challenged Sarumura to a trios match and then defeated Sarumura with a small package to pick the win and a title shot.

The Titans (Wael Hossam, Kalu Owusu and Mohamed El Yaaggoudi) defeated Sotatsu Sarumara, Atsusane Inukai and Saneatsu Shigemitsu in 15:05 when Wael Hossam pinned Sotatsu Sarumara with a small package. 56

Suzuki proclaimed that he will be the gold standard of Middleweights and aim to hold the title as long as his team leader INSPIRE Koiso. He got his first challenger in the form of the debuting former Exodus star, Commander Kawagishi who attacked before forming an informal alliance with Global Fight Empire's Arjen Van Den Leyne and Claudio Burdisso as they defeated INSPIRE Fight Club with The Breakers getting a title shot themselves at the All Asia Tag title.

Commander Kawagishi and The Breakers defeated INSPIRE Fight Club (Hitomaro Suzuki/Li Bingci/Oleg Doroskolov) in 13:40 when Commander Kawagishi pinned Hitomaro Suzuki with a Diamond Dust. 50

Commander Kawagishi defeated Kuemon Hotta in 12:49 by pinfall with a Diamond Dust. 41

Global Fight Empire (Buddy Garner and The Breakers) defeated INSPIRE Fight Club (Kimitada Yanagita, Li Bingci and Oleg The Destroyer) in 15:56 when Arjen Van Den Leyne submitted Kimitada Yanagita. 60

The appearance of Gaijin Pride in Forbidden Alliance ranks did not sit well with Xtreme Corps as their chance at both the tag titles just got extended with the new team addition and so they kept clashing throughout the tour with no definite result. In the end, Gaijin Pride and Forlorn Hope, the team of Zeshin Makioka and Koiji Kajiwara agrred to settle this in the ring in Detonation.

Forbidden Alliance (Hiroyasu Gakusha, Toshiharu Hyobanshi, Funakoshi, Jimmy Cox and Sojuro Sen) drew with Xtreme Corps (Zeshin Makioka, Koichi Kajiwara, Ieshige Nishio, Takeshi Yamanaka and Munemitsu Senmatsu) in 19:00 when the time limit expired. 58

Rhino Umaga won the #1 contender's match for the All Asia title.

Rhino Umaga defeated Zeshin Makioka, Chuichi Sanda and Jimmy Cox in 17:53 when Bali So'oialo submitted Jimmy Cox with an Unbreakable Sleeper. 60

Burning and Forbidden Alliance also clashed in the tour with Sanda and Hamacho winning a title shot when they defeated their opponents in a 4 vs 4 match.

The Burning (Chuichi Sanda, Eiji Hamacho, Tasuku Iesada and Tadiyuki Kikkawa) defeated Forbidden Alliance (Hiroyasu Gakusha, Toshiharu Hyobanshi, Jimmy Cox and Barry Kingman) in 17:49 when Chuichi Sanda pinned Barry Kingman with an Explosion Kick. 64

Pride Warriors and INSPIRE Fight Club also brought some firearms in the main events of the shows as we witnessed some great matches.

Akinori Kwakami and Kozue Kawashima defeated INSPIRE Koiso and Hitomaro Suzuki in 17:59 when Akinori Kwakami submitted Hitomaro Suzuki with a Kwakami Painlock. 77

INSPIRE Koiso and Hitomaro Suzuki drew with Akinori Kwakami and Masaru Ugaki in 16:00 when the time limit expired. 75

Attendance: 46291 @ New Shiga Stadium

Match 1: INSPIRE Pure Championship

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

Sotatsu Sorumura (c) vs Wael Hossam

A major shock in the opening match as Sorumura did not expect Hossam to overpower him as he blocked his mounted arm lock and with his heavy hands locked in the Rear Naked Choke to submit and become the new champ. Wael Hossam also becomes the first ever double champ in this new re-incarnation of INSPIRES having become the first ever holder of the now defunct Knockouts Championship.

Winner: Wael Hossam (new champion!!!)

Grade: 73

Match 2: Xtreme Corps vs Forbidden Alliance

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Forlorn Hope vs Gaijin Pride

Kajiwara was the determining factor as the biggest man in the match. Daniels and Kingman had trouble keeping him down as he manhandled them and when they managed to isolate Makioka, it was Ieshige Nishio and Takeshi Yamanaka who sneaked in and blasted Kingman with brass knuckles and thereafter it was easy pickings as Makioka, the legal man hit his Warrior Driver for the shock win.

Winner: Forlorn Hope

Grade: 61

Match 3: INSPIRE Middleweight Championship

spacer.pngspacer.pngimage.jpeg

Hitomaro Suzuki vs Commander Kawagishi

Suzuki's first defense of his newly won Middleweight Championship and he had a tough contender to deal with. Kawagishi was a star in EXODUS and he had come here to prove that he can hang with the big boys. After an even match, Suzuki managed to get Kawagishi down the ground to lock in the Suzuki Lock (Fujiwara Armbar) for the win.

Winner: Hitomaro Suzuki (defense #1)

Grade: 41

Match 4: INSPIRE All Asia Tag Team Championship

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

Li Bingci/Oleg Doroskolov (c) vs Arjen Van Den Leyne/Claudio Burdisso

The first title fight between INSPIRE Fight Club and the wannabe IFC i.e Global Fight Empire. With all four being crossover MMA stars, we got that MMA fight that everyone craves now and then. Van Den Leyne almost continued the night of upsets with an Ankle Lock over Doroskolov but Bingci saved it at the right time and then proceeded with his German Suplex symphony as he hit 5 of them on Burdisso before turning him over for the Wall of China (Walls of Jericho) and Burdisso had no choice but to tap out.

Winner: Li Bingci/Oleg Doroskolov (defense #1)

Grade: 64

Match 5: Forbidden Alliance vs Xtreme Corps

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

Funakoshi/Yorie Ippitsusai/Sojuro Sen vs Ieshige Nishio/Takeshi Yamanaka/Washi Heat

The ex-BCG trio of the Alliance went head to head with the former Chaos Demons and Washi Heat and Funakoshi was still hurting from his loss to Konoe and he wanted another shot so he dominated the match as he took the Demons to task before he hit the Butterfly Backbreaker on Yamanaka for the win,

Winner: Forbidden Alliance

Grade: 59

Post match, Funakoshi grabs a mic and calls out Konoe urging him for another shot at the title. Konoe laughs at Funakoshi will be facing opponents  him and says nothing comes easy, especially title shots when you have already lost once so for the next month, you will you will have to go through Konoe's handpicked opponents and if Funakoshi survives, then he can get the shot.

Match 6: INSPIRE World Heavyweight Tag Team Championship

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngHiroyashu Gakusha/Toshiro Hyobanshi (c) vs Eiji Hamacho/Chuichi Sanda

Sanda and Hamacho were once big names in Japanese tag team wrestling with them being the former 5 times BHOTWG Heavyweight Tag Team Champions as well as being the second INSPIRE All Asia Tag Team Champions when they beat the Samoan Destruction Inc. for the belt but now they have been reduced to a shell of their former shelf.  When you are facing a team like Gakusha and Hyobanshi, you need to bring your A-game and unfortunately they did not as Gakusha finished this off with the Gakusha Golden Bomb on Sanda.

Winner: Gakusha/Hyobanshi (defense #6)

Grade: 69

Post match though we got another dream face-off as while Gakusha and Hyobanshi were raising their hands and their titles, we saw

spacer.pngspacer.png

standing in the ring comforting Sanda and Hamacho and then getting in the face of the champions. Tense moments followed where everyone expected a brawl but the champs quietly exited and Kikkawa and Iesada motioned that they are coming for them.

Semi-Main : INSPIRE All Asia Championship

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

Taheji Kanoe (c) vs Rhino Umaga

After coming off a hellacious battle with Funakoshi, this was supposed to be an easy follow up for Konoe but Umaga had other things in mind as he showed his hardcore side hitting Konoe with his own warfare tactics and taking the match outside. A Savage Cradle DDT on the ramp was overturned as Umaga flattens Konoe with a backbreaker. He drags him inside the ring and then drops him face first onto the turnbuckles before following him up with a humongous lariat.

1........2.........KICK OUT!!! Konoe kicks out in nick of time. This angers Umaga as he looks for ways to hurt the champ who had already busted his forehead. A missile dropkick on Umaga while he was holding a chair knocks him hard before Konoe capitalises with a Savage Cradle DDT for the win.

Winner: Taheji Konoe (defense #4)

Grade: 68

Main Event : INSPIRE World Heavyweight Championship

spacer.pngspacer.png spacer.png

INSPIRE Koiso (c) vs Akinori Kwakami

The younger and the more dynamic of the Golden trio of Pride Warriors was facing the champ who was once his idol. So, he looked nervous but once Koiso starts ridiculing him, his anger took over and he whips Koiso with a follow up hip toss signaling that he is ready for the match. The match went back and forth with Koiso blocking Kwakami's further attempts at whip while Kwakami not allowing Koiso to lift him up on his shoulders. Kwakami's attempt a K-clutch from the top rope was ended when Koiso hits a step-up knee strike before hoisting him up on shoulders and..... Koiso Cutter!!! 1.....2......3. It's done and dusted.

Winner: INSPIRE Koiso (defense #13)

While Sarumura had started the trend, Wael Hossam showed he was made for this belt as he challenged and then defended against the members of Global Fight Empire, his former faction easily showing the world how it is to be done......some showboating, a Rear Naked Choke and a tap out!!!!

Hitomaro Suzuki defeated Ant-Man in 14:59 by submission with a Suzuki Lock. Hitomaro Suzuki makes defense #2 of the INSPIRES Middleweight title. 37

With Umaga having lost the shot at All Asia title, he started to run through members of the Global Fight Empire in a bid to convince Buddy Garner to give him a shot at the Strong Style title and his wish came true as Garner, having watched in dismay as his faction got buried, finally agreed. Samoan Pit Bulls also managed to get a shot courtesy of their brother pinning both the All Asia Tag Team Champions. Buddy managed to rake off a defense though beating the man he beat previously, Jimmy Cox again in a rematch of their Wrestle Summit clash.

1. Rhino Umaga defeated Claudio Burdisso in 15:19 by submission with an Unbreakable Sleeper. 60

2. The Tribe (Rhino Umaga, Tama and Akima Brave) defeated Global Fight Empire (Buddy Garner, Claudio Burdisso and Arjen Van Den Leyne) in 16:07 when Rhino Umaga submitted Arjen Van Den Leyne with an Unbreakable Sleeper. 58

3. Buddy Garner defeated Jimmy Cox in 15:35 by submission with a Garner Tendon Hold. Buddy Garner makes defense #1 of the INSPIRES Strong Style title. 58

The face-off that happened after the World Heavyweight tag title match flowed onto this tour as Burning and The Forbidden Alliance clashed repeatedly with Kikkawa & co. coming on top on most of the exchanges.

1. Forbidden Alliance (Barry Kingman, Dean Daniels, Toshiharu Hyobanshi and Hiroyasu Gakusha) drew with The Burning (Tadiyuki Kikkawa, Tasuku Iesada, Eiji Hamacho and Chuichi Sanda) in 18:00 when the time limit expired. 59

3. Tadiyuki Kikkawa drew with Hiroyasu Gakusha in 18:00 when the time limit expired. 74

While Funakoshi displayed a renewed vigor in his quest to win back All Asia title as he managed to pin the champion Konoe during the tour.

1. Forbidden Alliance (Barry Kingman, Dean Daniels and Funakoshi) defeated Xtreme Corps (Zeshin Makioka, Munemitsu Senmatsu and Taheiji Konoe) in 15:50 when Funakoshi pinned Taheiji Konoe with a Butterfly Backbreaker. 68

2. Taheiji Konoe and Munemitsu Senmatsu defeated Funakoshi and Jimmy Cox in 16:24 when Munemitsu Senmatsu pinned Jimmy Cox with a Super Smash Lariat. 58

While Pride Warriors and INSPIRE Fight Club both came away against the opponents hand picked by each of the faction, both were equally successful in their more direct clash setting the stage for the next chapter of this rivalry between Koiso and the Golden Trio.

1. The Pride Warriors (Alexander Robinson, Torajiro Sekozawa and Masaru Ugaki) defeated The Tribe (Rhino Umaga, Tama and Akima Brave) in 15:58 when Masaru Ugaki submitted Tama with an Ugaki Clutch. 63

Attendance: 42151 @ Nagasaki Dome

Match 1: INSPIRE Japanese Championship

spacer.pngspacer.pngKuemon Hotta.jpgspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngimage.jpeg

Washi Tanaka vs Kuemon Hotta vs Sotatsu Sorumura vs Ant-Man

Sorumura was fully determined to win this one after having lost the Pure Championship and he dominated the match but a useless scuffle with Ant-Man outside after he got thrown on the barricade proved to be his demise as Washi capitalized on with a Washi Explosion on Kuemon Hotta to shock everyone and become the new champion.

Winner: Washi Tanaka (new champion!!!)

Grade: 56

Match 2: INSPIRE Pure Championship

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

Wael Hossam (c) vs Quick Kick Nakao

Ever since winning the title, Hossam has been on a roll and his current tirade against his former faction had really kicked things in high gear and his next target was to fight against the premier faction INSPIRE Fight Club.  Nakao was very quickly dispatched though when he faced the Rear Naked Choke from Hossam in just under 7 minutes after having been forced to take a rope break.

Winner: Wael Hossam (defense #4)

Grade: 68

Match 3: INSPIRE Strong Style Championship

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

Buddy Garner (c) vs Rhino Umaga

Last month, it was the All Asia Championship that Umaga was after and this month, it was the Strong Style Championship. While Umaga definitely enjoyed size advantage, he could not match the wrestling skills of Garner and after taking out the big man's legs with a couple of painful dragon whip screws, the Garner Tendon Hold was enough to bring his second defense.

Winner: Buddy Garner (defense #2)

Grade: 70

Match 4: INSPIRE All Asia Tag Team Championship

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

Li Bingci/Oleg Doroskolov (c) vs Samoan Pit Bulls

Ever since Samoan Machine got injured, the Tribe's momentum has been derailed as they never seem to do it on the big stage. With Rhino Umaga failing to win the Strong Style earlier in the night to go with his earlier failure at the All Asia titles, Samoan Pit Bulls also become the first team to lose both the tag title fights. While they fought hard and got close to an upset after Akima hit the Brave Drop on Doroskolov but Bingci saved the day and in the end, the German Suplex symphony was the difference maker as Toma was completely knocked out and Doroskolov put the finishing touch with the Twisted Elbow Lock.

Winner: Li Bingci/Oleg Doroskolov (defense #2)

Grade: 82

Match 5 : INSPIRE All Asia Championship

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

Taheji Kanoe (c) vs Funakoshi

Round 3!!!! For Funakoshi, this was now or never. For Konoe, this was all about bragging rights as he had never lost a title fight against the ex-BCG champion. Both of them started cautiously waiting for the other to make the first mistake. Funakoshi was the more aggressive of the two in initial stages repeatedly hitting some sick uppercuts before a delayed Gorilla Press Slam popped the crowd. Funakoshi got hit with a cheap eye rake and Konoe tried to take advantage by coming off the top rope for a cross body but a neat elbow from Funakoshi almost took off his head.

The Butterfly Backbreaker was countered though as Konoe took out his infamous brass knuckles and blasted Funakoshi with the same before covering him with a bridging German for the win and dashing the hopes.

Winner: Taheji Konoe (defense #5)

Grade: 73

Hiroyashu Gakusha/Toshiro Hyobanshi (c) vs Tadiyuki Kikkawa/Tasuku Iesada

This was a dream tag match for many. Four of the finest wrestlers wrestled one of the finest tag matches of the year as we got a lot of drama with hot tags, counter holds, big spots and some sick wrestling sequences.

The ending came when Gakusha hit the Gakusha Golden Bomb on Iesada but the momentum took them both out of the ring and Kikkawa hits the Burning Lariat on Hyobanshi turning him inside out.

Winner: Kikkawa/Iesada (new champions!!!)

Grade: 81

Main Event : INSPIRE World Heavyweight Championship

INSPIRE Koiso (c) vs Masaru Ugaki

Ugaki throws an early dropkick and works Koiso with chops and kicks. He dropkicks Koiso off the ropes before wrenching his arms over his shoulder sending ripples of pain through Koiso's arm. The champ countered further damage with a chokehold and suplexed Ugaki on the apron to break the momentum all the while wincing from the pain.

Ugaki though made a further comeback with running double knees and then suplexed him before going up the ropes. He goes for a diving crossbody but Koiso raises his knees to foil his attempt. He transitioned into a single leg crab but Ugaki shows immense strength to suplex Ugaki from that position.

We got one of the best title matches of the last 2 years as we received lot of counters and big moves thereafter and Ugaki came close on couple of occassions but Koiso had the last laugh as he countered the Ugaki Bomb with a Koiso Cutter and then hit the Koiso Spike for good measure.

Winner: INSPIRE Koiso (defense #14)

Great main event and overall show!

I really didn’t know who to pick in the last tag team match, that was close.

Thanks man. Finally the main event did justice. Also, Gakusa and Hyobanshi was tag champs for around 8 months so figured it was time for somebody else to take the straps and since Kikkawa is my UC so of course i would like myself be the champion isn't it?? 😁

 D-ROAD TOUR APRIL RECAP

Wael Hossam continued his tremendous run in this month too as he defeated Ippitsusai in under 8 minutes but it was the Tribe who had their sights set as Rhino Umaga, after failing to win either the Strong Style or the All-Asia title, finally locked in his next target, the Pure Championship.

1. Wael Hossam defeated Yorie Ippitusai in 7:40 by submission with a Rear Naked Choke. Wael Hossam makes defense #5 of the INSPIRES Pure title. 58

2.  The Tribe (Tama, Akima Brave and Rhino Umaga) defeated The Titans (Wael Hossam, Mohamed El Yaaggoudi and Kalu Owusu) in 16:29 when Rhino Umaga submitted Wael Hossam with an Unbreakable Sleeper. 65

The same idea was prevalent in the mind of Sarumura as after losing the Pure title and then failing to win the Japanese title, he was now focussing on the Middleweight title as he disptached the foot soldiers of INSPIRE Fight Club easily before backstage attacks and run-ins during the match forced Suzuki to offer him a shot at Destruction.

1. Sotatsu Sarumara defeated Strong Style Yoemon in 13:33 by submission with a Mounted Arm Lock. 50

2. Sotatsu Sarumara defeated Quick Kick Nakao in 14:03 by submission with a Mounted Arm Lock. 54

Global Fight Empire came under lot of ridicule from INSPIRE Fight Club as while Koiso was busy in his preparations for the final chapter of The Golden Warriors war against Kawashima, Bingci took it up on himself to ridicule Garner's faction, calling them wannabes and how IFC had more number of titles than they will ever have in their lifetime. Buddy Garner took offense to it and challenged Bingci for his Strong Style title, telling him to own up or shut up.

Forbidden Alliance went through a re-alignment of their goals as Gakusha cut a heartfelt promo as to how after losing the tag titles that they had held for so long, maybe it was time that himself and Hyobanshi focus on their solo careers and  urged somebody else to take up the challenge of bringing back the tag titles to the unit. Pride Warriors were unimpressed and vowed that they will cut the legs of their solo careers and challenged them to a six man tag at Destruction.

1. Forbidden Alliance (Hiroyasu Gakusha, Toshiharu Hyobanshi and Jimmy Cox) drew with Xtreme Corps (Taheiji Konoe, Koichi Kajiwara and Zeshin Makioka) in 18:00 when the time limit expired. 67

2. The Pride Warriors (Kozue Kawashima, Masaru Ugaki and Akinori Kwakami) defeated INSPIRE Fight Club (INSPIRE Koiso, Li Bingci and Oleg The Destroyer) in 18:33 when Kozue Kawashima pinned Oleg The Destroyer with a Kawashima Driver 2005. 74

Funakoshi took up the challenge as he came victorious against Kikkawa and promised to bring a new face as his partner.

1. Funakoshi defeated Tadiyuki Kikkawa in 17:54 by pinfall with a Butterfly Backbreaker. 64
