More news as we get it, but expect to see him on WCW Television in a couple of weeks. This comes as a huge blow to TNA as Sabin is sure to be a future star in the wrestling business. Sabin could easily work in the flourishing Cruiserweight Division, or even higher up the weight divisions in WCW.

Psicosis, former WCW Cruiserweight Champion, and part of WWE Stable the Mexicools has left WWE to return to Mexico. WCW would undoubtedly be interested in Psicosis, although due to his popularity in Mexico, he will undoubtedly return to Mexico, at least for the time being. The second man to be released is a shock to many people in the UK, Paul Burchill. Burchill had been gaining raving reviews in the WWE as Pirate Paul Burchill, and his work in the UK made him a ready made star upon coming to the WWE. He has been released due to injuries, and Vince McMahon made the decision that his gimmick had come to an end. As of today Burchill is a free agent and Wrestlezone would not be surprised to see Burchill in WCW in the near future. Don’t rule out an appearance at Halloween Havoc in 2 days time if a deal can be thrashed out.

Burchill released by WWE last week is a superb athlete and was deemed to be a future player in the WWE until Vince McMahon grew tired of his Pirate Gimmick. 27 year old Burchill is a 6ft 3” unit. He can work almost any wrestling style and has charisma by the bucket load. WCW Officials are reportedly already mouth watering over WCW Officials are delighted with the outcome of Halloween Havoc, Although Bret Hart feels more thought could have gone into the Halloween Hell matches, he felt Warrior& Giant, Austin & Goldberg carried the match well. Austin now incidently will face Mark Magnus for the WCW Title at Souled Out at the end of November which will be a big money feud. Sting & Harry Smith put on a terrific show last night also, and Billy Kidman was said to have played his role of referee perfectly. Smith & Sting will continue to be involved with each other in the near future. Smith got the victory last night, but many insiders say that Sting will seek revenge. Warrior & Giant tore the house down in a power filled encounter, where The Warrior cunningly used handcuffs to apprehend the Giant. Expect more from these two in the future, as The Giant is set to be involved in a huge, and I mean huge storyline in the near future. Petey Williams again showed why he is the best cruiserweight in the world today, by retaining the title against The American Dragon. Fans were shocked to see Chris Sabin show up and beat The Ringmaster for the TV title, Sabin is in line for a huge push, which could see a show down with Petey Williams. Expect the recent Ric Flair & David Flair partnership to end. Ric Flair may get involved in a bigger storyline sooner rather than later. This week on Nitro we are reported to be seeing a TV Title rematch between Sabin & The Ringmaster. Raven could defend the Hardcore title against an old ECW rival, namingly either Johnny Swinger or Tajiri. Ric Flair could make his presence re-felt in WCW. WCW Thunder is expected to hit the TV schedules on Spike TV in about a month’s time. Spike, the current home of WCW Nitro, is agreed to a one hour timeslot at 10pm on Friday Nights, this will also go head to head with Friday Night Smackdown. WCW Officials are said to be very excited and are set to push the new look Thunder with top names & top talent. For those of you newbies to the wrestling world…. WCW Thunder was a professional wrestling show produced by World Championship Wrestling which aired on TBS from January 15, 1998 until March 21, 2001. The huge popularity of WCW in 1996 and 1997 allowed for the creation of a new show, which became WCW Thunder. Thunder was taped on Tuesday nights and then aired on Thursday, a change for WCW as then-WCW President Eric Bischoff was very keen on its primary show WCW Monday Nitro being aired live every week (as opposed to rival WWF Raw is War, which, at the time, was live every other week). With a rapidly growing roster, including the recent acquiring of now WCW Owner Bret Hart, TNT and The Turner Executives found the need to create a new show at its highest. WCW was reluctant and thought that it would hurt their popularity, but were forced to give in. TV commercials for Thunder featured top ring talents such as Hulk Hogan saying "I'll show you some thunder, brother!" and The Giant with "This forecast definitely calls for pain!" However, neither Hogan nor Giant would frequently appear on what was considered by fans to be a second rate show. Furthermore, unlike TNT's Monday Nitro, TBS often featured commercials briefing the events of the latest edition of Thunder during its other programs. Thunder switched from Thursday evenings to Wednesday evenings in the summer of 1999 when WWF SmackDown! debuted on UPN. By that time the tables had turned and WCW was trailing behind the WWF in the ratings. Thunder utilized a primarily blue color scheme for its production graphics and ring designs, a design which was later emulated by SmackDown!, as compared to the primarily red designs of the Monday night shows, Raw and Nitro. Thunder remained on Wednesday nights until the purchase of WCW by the WWF in March 2001. Then the GLASS SMASHES as “Stone Cold” makes his way down to the ring to a huge pop, he steps into the ring and gives everyone, apart from Bret Hart, the 2 fingers. you can ask, it was a main focal point in the relaunch of WCW of page, WWE is still using the US Title, so i thought it would be more realistiv to use a title that isnt in current circulation in the game world, using the imagination which we all aparently have, also you may, or probably not noticed, that i dont have the World Title that used to be on WCW, again this is down to the fact that it is in circulation with the WWE in the game world, bringing back the belt i know use as the WCW Heavyweight strap. The canadian championship was named as such, and because the company runs from Calgary, as im SURE youve read on the various Bret Hart segments, its a natural fit, purely being one dimensional by having it "just defended in canada and held by a canadian" is bland, dull and boring. I hope this gives you plenty to take away with you.

The Fallout of the Sensational Anti-WCW Alliance[/U][/B] WCW is on the back of a huge storyline right now, as at the end of Nitro last night we saw The Vice attack The Stampede Bulldogs after a tag team match, only for The Million Dollar Corporation to come down to the ring, many people in attendance thought that the Corporation would stand firm for WCW, but earlier that night we saw WCW Champion Mark Magnus shake hand with leader of The Vice, Sting. Little did we know what they were planning, we saw The Million Dollar Corporation then make it a despicable 7 on 2 attack on the Stampede Bulldogs- Harry Smith & TJ Wilson…… Tony Schiavone summed this up in one line…. “WCW & Bret Hart need to sort this out” This is an exciting time for WCW. On a side note, one half of The New Hart Foundation, and more importantly a Hart Family member, turned up late for Nitro this week. Jim Neidhart was apparently furious by this and immediately contacted owner Bret Hart who was away on WCW official business. Bret Hart fined Teddy Hart immediately by phone, and was said to be very disappointed. Bret himself has done his best to remould Teddy Hart into a fine young man, so don’t expect Teddy Hart to leave WCW anytime soon. WWE made a couple of changes this week by releasing two superstars. Firstly was Steve Romero who left to pursue other interests, which many WWE officials saw coming. Secondly, which was surprising to some, unsurprising to others – Joey Matthews aka Joey Mercury. Matthews just returned to WWE TV after spending 3 months in rehab for addictions, and was set to be a cruiserweight solo star on Smackdown. But Vince McMahon, cannot forgive or forget, and promptly released Matthews from his stop-start cruiserweight division. WCW would definetly be interested in Matthews, as either a solo star or Tag Team star. Many in WCW would like to see Matthews be reunited with former tag partner Christian York who is currently pursuing a TV career. WCW feelers have been sent out to both. A brief note, Diamond Dallas Page returns to WCW this week with his Nitro preview, expect him to voice his opinions on the Vice-Corporation alliance, the return of Thunder in December & his thoughts on WCW Souled Out.

wow interesting return for WWE. This is gonna be so huge, I'm so hyped. You have the biggest storyline since the Kidman stabbing going on and now Rock back to WWE. You guys are so at war it's not even funny hahah, that's why I'm laughing.:cool: As for Mercury being released, that definitely sucks.. for WWE! Because WCW is totally gonna pick him up. Why not right? it's Joey mercury. I know I'd love to see it and teaming him up with York would be awesome as well. As for Teddy Hart showing up late, well I think you did the right thing by giving him a fine.
