azzak Posted October 12, 2023 Share Posted October 12, 2023 The American Cobras, The Night Terrors, The Ring Generals and Thunder and Lightning, in that order. I've always found that quartet of teams to be a solid, dependable and interesting variety to build a strong tag team division around. Ever so slightly lacking in the entertainment department but they develop enough to be serviceable in that area as the game progresses, and utilising a manager never hurts too. John Lions Posted October 13, 2023 Share Posted October 13, 2023 The Duo, Rusty Mills and Donovan Boon, are amazing. I've used them all the way back in TEW2005 and I signed them in my TEW2020 save and they are incredible. I can put them against any tag team on my roster and they can pull a 4* match out of them. Hell in November 2022 they were able to carry Lone Rider and his dad, the 58 year old Original Lone Rider, to a B- non-gimmick match. My original tag division went up in flames when my big three signings (The Affliction, The A-Listers, and The Brat Pack) all underperformed - I signed The Duo and they turned my whole tag division around. Both guys are well-rounded and I could see them making an impact anywhere in the CVerse - from touring in Japan to working CZCW or TCW in the US. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jake Idol is more of the breakout if you wish to go in that direction. I think you can build a division around them. Going Coastal usually get over big between Frankie Boy & California Love Machine getting picked up together and both breaking out as main eventers. dbritton987 Posted November 14, 2023 Share Posted November 14, 2023 Wild Cats are a go to for me, for whatever game I might be playing. I can get them for cheap to start and make them stars. They're currently my TCW Tag Team Champions, though I'm contemplating doing a Wild Cats implosion eventually, seeing that I managed get El Jaguar to beef up to 86 Star Quality. Ya know, something different. Speaking of TCW, I always eventually reunite both The New Wave & The Canadian Animals. Always thought both teams have more value reunited than flying solo. Philly Blondes are a fun one to pick up. Always been a Ash Campbell & Nelson Callum fan. And if I need a jobber, comedy duo, I always get decent ratings with the Canadian Blondes.
