Did something happen to the broadcasters between versions? A lot of media groups are missing broadcasters.

I hope not. Broadcasters took me hours to get working just right before the last update. I will check when I get home.

I only have the most recent update saved on my computer, so not sure if it's just this version or what. Some media groups have no broadcasters assigned. When I'm home, I'll check to see which ones are in the data I have

Once I get the data back from SkyCrasher I will take another crack at broadcasters and try to get the Media groups linked up. I thought I'd already done it but looking at the most recent data in front of me it seems not. I cannot find the version before (I may have accidentally saved over it...)

I cant get Hogan to lose anything, ever. Even with keep strong/protect on, he won't lose to Warrior or Flair

I had been toying with the idea of removing his Creative Control to give a bit more leeway (He'll still refuse to lose but that is how Hogan was). I don't want to make him willing to lose because Hogan has always been about Hogan. Hogan was only pinned/submitted 14 times in 170 televised matches between 1983–2006.

A trick in that situation is to put Hogan in tag team matches with someone who can lose like Randy Savage.

Then, when Hogan's pop got lower and Flair got bigger, you will be able to have him take some losses.

Yeah, i didn't want to change it either. But I couldn't even book him to lose the Rumble to Flair. Idk any work around. Flair, Taker and Jake the Snake took him out before the match. Best I could come up with.

Yeah I think in 1992 Hogan wouldn't agree to lose to anyone. So while it's frustrating to play it's extremely realistic really...

During that time you couldn't put Hogan near anyone you was building up because... that doesn't work for me brother!

He did lose the Rumble though tbf so in this scenario it's not realistic. Not only that, he got dumped cleanly

Yeah, I'm thinking maybe removing the creative control. Then it is up to the player if they want to annoy Hogan or not. You can probably take the hit on him losing the 92 RR in terms of his morale because he was extremely annoyed after it anyway in real life.

I don't want to change his personality though because that was who Hogan was. If he didn't want to job, he wasn't going to (and rarely did on TV/PPV). Even when he did begrudgingly lose clean, you better believe he was getting that win back down the line.

Removing the creative control is probably the right call. We know he had CC in WCW, but is there any indications that he actually had a CC in his contract with WWF? Doesn't seem like something Vince would have done.

You are correct, Hogan did not have CC in WWF. All the things he gets accused of in WWF is Vince's call even against Patterson's or other creative guys ideas. Vince was really a bit scared of moving on from Hogan not realizing fans were changing and they wanted guys like Bret and Shawn

Just wanted to share to help improve the mod in the future. I started to play the 1992 mod with AJPW. I've noticed that theres no japanese ppv broadcaster to negotiate with and no Korakuen Hall in the arenas to book list. Some of the wrestlers are contracted to the roster even though they are not available in Japan.

Korakuen Hall is in the data. Has been since Beta version.

The lack of Pay-Per-View in Japan is because they didn't use that model over there in the 90's. AJPW in 1992 held a grand total of zero events on pay-per-view. It just didn't really exist back then. Their first PPV was in 2002. NJPW didn't use PPV until 2000 either.

I will take a look at their roster and make anyone who wrestles for them available in Japan.

Thanks for the feedback.

Doesn't open until like 2008 from what I can tell, but could probably add Tokyo Dome City Hall/JCB Hall in Kanto. It was called JCB Hall until 2011 when it became the TDCH

Am I missing something (or not understanding the request). This is what is in the mod;

image.jpeg.c1691d37458517883e4f1e2e1beb3466.jpeg

It doesn't open in 2008, it is open in the mod. Are people using someone elses venues for this? If so, please don't comment here that the file is wrong - it isn't.

I think you're confused because I'm not talking about Korakuen Hall at all. Tokyo Dome City Hall/JCB Hall is a completely different venue that holds wrestling shows. I was simply suggesting another venue to add.

Ah that explains it. Ok, I'll look to get that venue added as well then. Reading it back now, I can see where I mis-read it!

Some Notes:
===============
- Japan Woman Pro-Wrestling held their last show in January of 1992. Instead of adding them as a company, I have added them as a 1 off tribute show so they still hold the last event.
- Stampede re-open in 1999, however I have added a Stampede tribute shows for a one off event they held in 1992.

I am looking to get this out to the masses Friday/Saturday. So much has gone into this update I'm not sure there is much more we can add at this stage so (with the exception of any game breaking mistakes) I may leave you all to play this version for a while. Gives me time to finish my Diablo X update then.
