Steve Austin denounces his treatment in WCW and puts over how he is now in an environment where no one can hold back his wrestling abilities. Tod Gordon hypes the October 28 ECW Arena show which will feature the Sandman defending the ECW Championship against Mikey Whipwreck in a ladder match. ECW Champion the Sandman and Woman cut a backstage promo near a ladder. The Sandman tells Steve Austin that he “is no one’s iron lung” as Austin will not revive his career at his expense. Taz tells Styles that he is coming after Scorpio and will choke him out. Meanwhile, Jason needs smelling salts to revive him. Cactus Jack w/Raven vs. Don E. Allen Cactus Jack refuses to engage in any kind of hardcore wrestling, he throws Allen to the floor where Raven gives the newcomer a DDT, allowing Jack to prevail after Don E. is tossed back into the ring. The four men trade german suplex's. Beulah tries to distract Benoit but accidentally gets hit by Richards. Raven hits the DDT on Malenko after a kick to the groin. Raven and Cactus Jack talk about Dreamer’s condition. Raven tells Dreamer that Jack needs him for a higher purpose, but Dreamer is not there, just like Dreamer was not there years ago for Raven. Jack says he had to hurt Dreamer because his earlier words were not getting through. Jack laments that Mikey Whipwreck has had too many concussions to be of long-term use anymore so Dreamer should talk to him before deciding not to bolt for WCW. He closes by telling Dreamer that he hopes they do not face off on October 28 as Dreamer should wise up. Dreamer tells Styles that on October 28 he is going to bring Terry Funk to back him up at the ECW Arena when he faces Jack. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Extreme Encyclopedia segment hypes Rey Misterio, Jr. and Psicosis Buh Buh Ray Dudley makes his debut, stuttering through a promo with The Dudley Family Alfonso and Gordon talk about how much they hate each other. Gordon promises to be vengeful on Alfonso because he makes the matches in ECW. Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Psicosis Misterio spends the beginning of the match flying all over the place, sending the crowd into a frenzy when his dives send Psicosis into the crowd and he delivers a flying hurricanrana on the arena floor for the win. Styles says next week’s episode will review why the Sandman and Mikey Whipwreck’s next match at the ECW Arena will be a ladder match. ECW Champion the Sandman and Woman tell Mikey Whipwreck that he can try to climb the ladder to greatness but will fall when he tries. Alfonso says he will be in ECW until the promotion closes down. Raven's Nest w/Beulah McGillicutty vs. 911 and The Pitbulls w/Francine The battle goes hardcore straight away, with Cactus using a chair to beat on Pitbull #1 and then wrapping it around 911 neck so he can ram him into the ring post several times. Pittbull #2 kicks out of a Stevie Kick and goes on to put Raven through a table with a moonsault on the arena floor until Cactus rolls him back in and hits the double-arm DDT for the win. Cactus Jack talks about how nothing pleases him more than bad matches that will steal ECW’s money. He adds that ECW cannot get rid of him because he is a former national talent and television executives know who he is, which is something the Public Enemy and Tommy Dreamer cannot say for themselves. Tommy Dreamer closes the show by saying that Jack is going to feel his pain. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edited March 17 by StanMiguel
