Adam Ryland
Now you do make a good point about the number of wrestlers that can be in the data base over time, but I do not think that many people will ever play a game that goes for much more than ten game years and even "ten year games" are no doubt quite uncommon. It might be useful to have a pole, for which I would guess that most "major" TEW games probably do not go over five years.
Although I can see the point you're trying to make BTW, I can't really code with that in mind - the fact that most people don't go past 10 years doesn't matter, as long as some people (even if they are a tiny minority) are having really long games then it's part of my job to make sure that they are catered for. Adam Ryland
Me too. I think it helped that he got a written deal with NOTBPW quite early on, so that saved him from the rigours of touring Japan. If he'd stayed there, I don't think he'd have lasted very long at all. BTW - because WMMA is eating up all my time, I'm looking to end this diary write-up fairly quickly, so the next and final part will be a look at a selection of the more interesting characters. If anyone has specific characters they particularly want to hear about, please say.

Tigerkinney
Well someone beat me to the punch for American Elemental. Would also be interesting to find out what came of Sensational Dragon and Marihito Masuko...who at the beginning of the game are supposed to be involved in a rivarly over the Burning Junior Division title that is being compared to the legendary Optimus- Elemental/Elemental II rivalries. Can I also be the first to say that everyone wants to find out what happened to the current cult favourite of these boards....JIM FOORRCCE !! Derek B
I would love to hear how the next generation of PGHW wrestlers done. Guys like Sanda, Koiso, Kawashima and Ugaki all are poised for greatness at the start. And I want to know how Dazzling Dave Diamond's career went. I'd also like to know if any of the poor original workers turned out well. Just guys that you wouldn't expect to do well that turned good at some point. Like... perhaps The Minor Annoyance somehow got employed and became a midcarder in the UK. Or maybe Gentleman Jim King got signed by... well, anyone. Stuff like that. We've got people requesting to know about Frankie Dee of all people...my prediction he had a cup of coffee in NOTBPW then bounced around the independent circuit. And then you've got the likes of Remianen asking after just about every womens worker in the Cornellverse....not that I'm surprised by that request. Basically what I want to know is, has the women's scene progressed (progress usually fueled by the success of workers) or is it still sideshow material. I see that CWWF and QAW debuted but there's no mention of WINNOW so there's still room for growth, it seems. I'd also like to know if any of the higher profile relationships progressed (i.e. Raven & Plague, Catherine & The Natural, Kiko & Toshiharu, Devine & Seduction, Jett & Cameron, Missy & Phenomenal E, Taylor & Brendon, Persephone & Steven Parker, etc).
