World Wrestling Federation Presents Live from the Sold-Out Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida in front of a crowd of 10,000. A video plays to show the ending of last weeks Raw Is War, where Stone Cold Steve Austin won the Handicap match against DX to secure his place in the main event of Wrestlemania. After the usual pyrotechnic display, Vince McMahon is standing in the ring with his son, Shane, who looks embarrassed. Vince lays into him about counting the pin for Stone Cold, and makes him get on his knees for forgiveness. As he does, DX run down to the ring, and they start humiliating him, ripping the shirt off his back, slapping him around and generally embarrassing him. All of a sudden, Vince’s limo appears on the screen, and Stone Cold Steve Austin drives over it in monster truck to the cheers of the crowd. -------------------------------------------------------------- Pick Your Poison Owen Hart vs Mabel vs Owen Hart shows why he is in the main event of Wrestlemania, by having an excellent match against the lumbering Mabel, and even manages to makes him look dangerous. Owen grabs the win by submission with a Sharpshooter. Winner: Owen Hart in 9:56 Rating: A freaking * -------------------------------------------------------------- A video is aired showing D-Generation X’s assault on Mankind, including the last shot with a sledgehammer that gave him a concussion. -------------------------------------------------------------- Wrestlemania Battle Royal Qualifier Chavo Guerrero Jr & TAKA Michinoku vs Edge & Christian vs A good, fast paced match between four of the stars for the future for the WWF. The Canadian youngsters got the victory when Christian hit an Inverted DDT on TAKA Michinoku. Winners: Edge & Christian in 11:47 Rating: C -------------------------------------------------------------- Goldust walks into the parking lot where Vince McMahon is looking at the remains of his limo. Goldust wants revenge on Jeff Jarrett for his recent actions against his family. Vince is clearly still caught up in the limo and gets angry for being disturbed, and as a punishment puts Marlena in a match against Jarrett. -------------------------------------------------------------- Wrestlemania Battle Royal Qualifier Marc Mero & Steve Williams vs Harris Brothers vs A decent match which is won by Mero & Williams after Mero hits a TKO on Ron Harris. Winner: Marc Mero & Steve Williams in 8:52 Rating: C+ -------------------------------------------------------------- A video is played hyping Wrestlemania, which is in 13 days. Within the video are the already announced matches for ‘Mania. -------------------------------------------------------------- Mankind comes to the ring to a great reaction and tells Triple H he is ready for him. He may have hurt him pretty badly but he didn’t finish him off and he wants him at Wrestlemania. Triple H comes out and warns Mankind, but accepts the match nevertheless. -------------------------------------------------------------- Marlena is walking backstage before her match alongside Goldust and Dusty Rhodes, when out of nowhere Jarrett hits the men with a steel chair, knocking both out. Jeff Jarrett vs Marlena vs A completely one-sided match, based around Jarrett messing Marlena about. Eventually, he takes it seriously, maybe even being too rough, as he clotheslines her, scoop slams her then locks her in the Figure Four Leg Lock, from which she taps immediately. Winner: Jeff Jarrett in 2:32. Rating: C Even though the match ended, Jarrett refused to let go. Goldust then runs down to the ring to scare him off, and announces he wants him in a match at Wrestlemania, to which Jarrett is obviously pleased. -------------------------------------------------------------- “Up Close And Personal With Owen Hart” is aired, showing his return to his home town of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, meeting up with old friends and relatives. -------------------------------------------------------------- Jerry “The King” Lawler & Sabu vs Terry Funk & Taz vs An excellent match, in which the veterans help the former Extremists work to their best ability without using weapons. Eventually Taz locks the Tazmission on his old adversary The King for the submission victory, although Jim Cornette tried to argue it was a choke. Winner: Taz & Terry Funk in 10:44 Rating: A After the match, Sabu got a cheap shot in on Funk and Taz, and gets out a table again, when Tommy Dreamer hits the ring with a Singapore cane and wears out Sabu, before hitting a Death Valley Driver through the table. -------------------------------------------------------------- The camera cuts backstage where The Rock is being interviewed. He says he has a video of himself training to the level he thinks he needs for his match with Ken Shamrock. The video airs and it shows The Rock sitting around, drinking beverages and yelling at kids who want his autograph. When the video ends, The Rock starts laughing at the threat Ken Shamrock can possess, when Shamrock came out of nowhere and attacks him, despite quite obviously having a limp. Eventually he locks in the Anklelock and makes The Rock tap out. -------------------------------------------------------------- Austin comes to the ring, waiting to see who his opponent will be. The lights go out, and organ music starts while the arena turns a dark shade of red. Austin’s poison is Kane! Pick Your Poison Kane vs Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Another phenomenal match. Kane continues to play the monster role perfectly, and the fans were 100% behind Stone Cold. When the referee gets knocked out, Vince comes to the ring with a chair and tries to attack Austin and knocks him down. Vince then summons for a referee come down, but it’s Shane McMahon that comes to a good pop. He grabs the chair, but hits a recovered Stone Cold with it! Kane then picks him up and hits him with a Tombstone Piledriver for the victory, as Kane’s undefeated streak continues. Winner: Kane in 13:38 Rating: A* -------------------------------------------------------------- Shawn Michaels is backstage, and he cuts a promo about how he’s the Showstoppa, the Main Event the WWF Champion, and regardless of who Austin picked to be his poison, he doesn’t fear them at all. A brief video is then showed of the highlights of the two earlier Pick Your Poison matches. -------------------------------------------------------------- Shawn Michaels c0ckily makes his way to the ring awaiting the his opponent. The lights go out, and the bong is heard. The Undertaker is Shawn Michaels poison! Pick Your Poison The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels vs Another great match, and one that we have seen quite a bit of over the last few months. Michaels tried to cheat his way to a win, but the Deadman refused to beaten. Eventually ‘Taker hit the Chokeslam and signalled for a Tombstone, when Kane hit the ring and Tombstone’d his brother. Michaels draped an arm over the fallen Undertaker to get the win. Winner: Undertaker in 15:35 Rating: A* Michaels quickly exited the ring as Kane got back in, ready to carry on the attack when Undertaker sits up. They trade punches when both Flying Clothesline the other at the exact same time. Both sit up at the exact same time, Undertaker throws Kane off the ropes when Paul Bearer grabs his leg, and Kane makes his way out of the ring. Is it possible that Undertaker has finally got in the evil mind of Kane? -------------------------------------------------------------- Final Rating: A. That seems a bit harsh after three A* rated matches, but it still should have increased our popularity. Also Chavo was apparently overused, which seems weird as he was only used once and is more over now than ever. USA Network 720,123 viewers. TV Asahi 5,537 viewers. TV Azteca 3,120 viewers.
Quick Results

Owen Hart def Mabel
Edge & Christian def TAKA Michinoku and Chavo Guerrero Jr
Marc Mero & Steve Williams def Harris Brothers
Jeff Jarrett def Marlena
Terry Funk & Taz def Sabu & Jerry Lawler
Kane def Stone Cold
Shawn Michaels def The Undertaker

-------------------------------------------------------------- WCW Nitro was held in the DC Armoury to a crowd of 10,000. It drew a B rating and saw Hogan defeating Scott Steiner and Bret Hart defeating Lex Luger. -------------------------------------------------------------- So what do you think of the new format then, guys? Shall I stick with this or go back to how it was?
I'm enjoying everything but the losing streak Austin seems to be on  :p Can you post an odd ECW report here or there, haven't heard much on how they're coping with the talent raid
Austin isn't on a losing streak at all my friend. Since No Way Out (where he won) he lost to Owen in a number one contendership match, beat the Outlaws with Owen by DQ, beat the team of Triple H and Shawn Michaels on his own then lost to the undefeated Kane. Not too bad a run! Especially as I'm trying to promote the feeling that anyone is beatable at any time, which should hopefully add unpredictability and the feeling that you have to tune in to every show because you don't know what will happen. As for ECW, I was considering adding them to my monthly summary, and you have just settled it. It will be included. I was half waiting for something big to happen, but I will include their updates too. I have to warn you though, it's not very interesting: they're pretty much the wrestling equivilent of a 75 year old woman who is going for a drive because she has nothing else to do and as such driving about 20 miles per hour. She's safe, and won't crash, but not getting anywhere quickly. Nevertheless, I will add an ECW update just to show what they're doing with themselves and how they're dealing with losing Taz, Lance Storm, Sabu and Tommy Dreamer to me, and maybe, just maybe, a couple more in the future...

28 March 1998 My house in the suburbs of Stamford, Connecticut Just one more Raw Is War before Wrestlemania, and I have to admit I like how it is building up. Most of the matches have fallen in to place as expected and I get the feeling that it is going to be a great night for all involved. I’ve spoken to Sam McShaynes23 & Johnny McWildcat in the production office and both have provided me with a video and a poster which will be doing the rounds very shortly. Despite my best efforts, Scott Hall signed an extension to his expiring contract. I know the guy has issues but I had some great plans for the dude and could have made him even more of a star. We did, however, sign Marcus Bagwell. Most of WWF’s fanbase will have heard of him, but possibly not seen him in action, which gives me the opportunity to push him like a real star in my own way, not as he was in ‘dub cee ‘dub. Speaking of contract extensions, I have a real issue with Steve Austin at the moment. He has a reputation for being a nice guy and doing what’s best for the company, but he showed his other side during negotiations. Knowing full well we couldn’t afford to let one of the hottest stars in the business right now leave as he was about to headline Wrestlemania, he held out for ridiculous amounts of money. I won’t go into details, but to suffice to say it’s more than double what we pay ‘Taker and Michaels, and over four times what we pay fellow ‘Mania main eventer Owen Hart. But the risk of letting him go to WCW with the push he has been on here would be unlimitedly damaging to us. We also had to say goodbye to Dennis Knight, who I didn’t even negotiate with. He’s a nice guy but I was never a fan of his in ring ability. And therefore, I had to let Mark Canterbury go too. If, while I’m trying to build up a thriving tag team division, tag team wrestler Canterbury couldn’t get a look in then he didn’t have a chance as a singles guy. There has been a large influx of young wrestlers getting in the business as of late, and I plan of capitalising on this. One of these guys is 20 year old Phillip Jenkins, who is a Canadian manager. He came to one of our try-out days and he blew us all away with his mic skills. Also at the tryouts was fellow 20 year old Larry Nelson, an odd looking British guy but a talented one non-the-less. While a long way from being ready for the big time, the potential is definitely there. Great on the stick and good basics. Only problem is his physician back in the UK tells us he is injury-prone. Very injury porne. Another tryout came from a very long way, Europe in fact. She went by the name of Betty Grunge and is just 17 years old. She has a highflying style and she assures us she can play the role of a heel brilliantly. She doesn’t look like a diva but this kid has reignited my passion for a Womens division, which had waned after such little development from my current women. It may even be possible this kid could be the person I’ve been looking for to challenge gender roles in wrestling. Only problem is while she may be ready for the call up already, as a teenager her resilience is tiny, as is the ethics around using a 17 year old girl in a sport what is essentially fighting. Regardless of this, I will do my utmost to sign all three, because if we want to succeed I need to keep and eye on the future. Another person who went to the tryout is a little harder to decide upon. This man is Olympic Gold Medal winner Dan Hupp. He is a huge name in USA after winning the medal in weightlifting, and then starring in a critically acclaimed advert for Pepsi. He would definitely add to our mainstream appeal, which couldn’t hurt as we’re trying to catch up with WCW. Only problem is; he sucks in the ring. Truly, honestly sucks. And at 37, there isn’t any time to let him go to JAPW to get better. Hmm… Speaking of our development territory JAPW, it held its monthly event, and gained a C rating, which is almost what ECW have been gaining. In the main event, Kurt Angle defeated the legend Tito Santana (who is property of JAPW, not WWF), Brian Christopher defeated Tommy Dreamer in Dreamers last match before his call up, Bull Buchanen defeated Scott Taylor and Jeff Hardy defeated his brother Matt. The worst match of the night was between Rhino Richards and Dave Bautista, which drew an E. I find this quite funny as I have literally had around twelve requests over the last couple of months from Bautista to be promoted, despite being poor in every department except looks and power, and recently being told by WCW he had no future in wrestling. Me thinks I shall let him go soon. WCW Weekly from the TD Waterhouse saw Hogan’s new obsession with Tag Team wrestling continue, as he reformed the Mega Powers to defeat Harlem Heat. The team of The Giant and Lex Luger also defeated Flair and Sting. WCW Uncensred was held in the Wembley Arena in London and drew 860,070 buys. At the event Hogan retained his title against Kevin Nash, the team of Randy Savage and Scott Hall beat DDP and Sting, Giant and Luger bested the Steiner Brothers and Dean Malenko won the Cruiserweight Title. Still no sign of the man they call Goldberg. ECW Living Dangerously was held in Alumni Hall, NY and drew a C+ rating, with Shane Douglas retaining his ECW title against The Sandman, Bam Bam Bigelow beating Justin Credible, RVD besting Ian Rotten. After losing their TV Deal, they aren’t really getting anymore popular than they were to start and haven’t replaced the guys who left for the WWF. I’m still surprised they lost their deal, as they even managed to get a C rating in the last show before the show ended, and it was held in Nashville. I do fully expect them to come up with a deal of some sorts when the next negotiations come around. Shane Douglas is their champion, and without Sabu is the most familiar name in the company along with Bam Bam Bigelow, Jerry Lynn is the TV Champion after picking up the vacant title when Taz joined us, and the Dudley Boyz are the Tag champs after beating the FBI.

World Wrestling Federation Headquarters, Stamford, Connecticut 14:33, 30 March 1998 As walked along the corridor of the WWF Headquarters towards McMahons office, I tried to work out why he wanted to see me. He couldn’t be firing me, I’d done nothing wrong, he can’t be complaining about the product; sure it’s more match orientated than before, but the fans are happy so he must be. It must be one of those things where he asks for my opinion on a matter he has already made his mind up about, then. I knocked on the door and stepped in, to see McMahon sitting behind a desk and Gerald Brisco hovering above him, so proud that he had become McMahons lap dog. I was surprised he wasn’t shining Vince’s shoes. Man I hate that guy. “Gerald, good to see you again.” I hate him. “G’mornin’ Mr Holt.” I’ve worked alongside that idiot for three years and he still doesn’t call me by my first name. “And Vince, what can I do for you?” “Take a seat, Dave, I wanna ask your opinion on a creative matter.” I began mentally writing out my letter of resignation, knowing full well I would hate every word out of mouth. “What do you know about Dave Bautista?” he asked. “The guys a waste of space. He has very limited skills and was told, probably correctly, by WCW he would never make it in the business, yet he constantly requests to be moved up to the main roster. Seriously, he is nothing but a big, strong guy with a good look and zero wrestling skills.” Oh c**p. I just described the quintessential McMahon hoss. “I like him. I think he has potential.” How did I know he would say that? “How soon until you think he will be ready to be called up?” I tried to think of something to say to convince McMahon that the way forward was to release him, not promote him, but in the end just had to be honest. Which you don’t get a lot of around here. “He’ll be ready in about… oh, I don’t know… four to six years.” McMahon let out a hearty laugh, before asking “why exactly do you think it will take that long?” I desperately tried to work out another way of saying “because he’s s**t”, but time was running out as McMahon and Brisco started intently at me. “He doesn’t have enough experience.” “Nonsense, he’s here to gain experience” butted in Brisco. “WHY DON’T YOU F**K OFF, BRISCO!!!” I yelled, before coming to after a Scrubs-like thought moment. What’s Scrubs? Oh man, I’m losing it. I’m inventing TV programs in my head. “True” I said calmly “but when we are chasing a company as big and successful as WCW we really need to put on the best shows we can, and Bautista won’t help with that.” After looking down thoughtfully, Vince co cked his head up and stated defiantly “I want him in the main roster. I think he could be a useful addition.” “Vince, with all due respect, I’m not comfortable promoting a guy who is so totally undeserving while leaving some really talented guys like Sean Morley, Shane Helms, Al Snow and Christopher Daniels languishing in the development leagues.” Vince’s tone took a real sudden seriousness which I had yet to hear before. “If you aren’t comfortable with doing it, maybe I should find a Head Booker who is.” I was entirely demoralised, which was evident in my voice as I said “No, Vince, it’s fine. Dave Bautista will be called up soon. Just give me time to decide upon a gimmick for him.” As I gradually turned away to exit the office after completely abandoning my principles, I saw Brisco give McMahon a tiny smirk which made me want to tackle him out of the window to our certain death, but something told me that wouldn't be sensible. As usual, I would have to ignore it and let my dented ego hide away yet again.
PRESENTS It’s time for the final stop on the Road To Wrestlemania and it promises to be as action-packed a night as we’ve seen. All three competitors in the title match at Wrestlemania will be in the same ring for the first of tonight’s main events, as we see D-Generation X against Owen Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mankind in a three on four handicap match. Last time Owen and Austin teamed they ended up costing themselves the Tag Titles by fighting; how will they co-exist with the psychotic Mankind against one of the closest stables in Federation history? The other main event sees Kane and Undertaker in the same match for the first time since Kane’s explosive debut. The Deadman teams up with partially fit Ken Shamrock to take on his brother and The Rock. How will Shamrock’s injury affect the match, and who will come out on top just before ‘Mania? Also at Raw Is War we’ll have the first appearance of newest WWF signing Marcus Bagwell. How will “The Buff One’s” inclusion to the roster affect the other superstars? One thing’s for sure, Bagwell won’t just want to settle in quietly! The Battle Royal qualifying matches continue to run, as D’Lo Brown and Mabel take on the New Blackjacks, the New Midnight Express face the Legion Of Doom, and the Headbangers will face the debuting Hardy Boyz. Who else will join Edge & Christian and Marc Mero & Dr Death in the Battle Royal? The tasters of Wrestlemania continue, as the WWF’s newest extremists, Tommy Dreamer and Sabu, face off in a hardcore match. Following Goldust’s acceptance of a match with Jeff Jarrett at Wrestlemania, both men will be in the ring when the Bizarre One teams with Taz to face Jarrett and Jerry Lawler, who was choked out at the hands of Taz last week. Scheduled Matches

D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels, Triple H & New Age Outlaws) vs Owen Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin & Mankind in a 3 on 4 Handicap Match
Kane & The Rock vs The Undertaker & Ken Shamrock
Goldust & Taz vs Jeff Jarrett & Jerry Lawler
Sabu vs Tommy Dreamer in a Hardcore match
Headbangers vs Hardy Boyz in a Battle Royal Qualifier
New Blackjacks vs The Nation
Legion Of Doom vs New Midnight Express

Predictions, as always welcome. But don't predict yourselves too hard- the final Wrestlemania card will be up very soon and the person with the most correct predictions gets a mystery prize :)

Will the mystery prize be 'I will super-push this guy'? Because I feel like forcing you to super-push Bautista just for the heck of it! Hahahahaha... :D Ah, I tease. Prediction time! * D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels, Triple H & New Age Outlaws) vs Owen Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin & Mankind in a 3 on 4 Handicap Match No-contest! Everything goes to hell and eventually Austin stuns everyone to end the show. * Kane & The Rock vs The Undertaker & Ken Shamrock I think Kane will keep his little streak going, so he'll win. * Goldust & Taz vs Jeff Jarrett & Taz Wait a minute, Taz vs. Taz? ... I'm guessing you mean King with Jarrett, in which case I'll say Jarrett will get the one-up on Goldust going into Wrestlemania. * Sabu vs Tommy Dreamer in a Hardcore match HE'S HARDCORE! HE'S HARDC-Sabu. :p * Headbangers vs Hardy Boyz in a Battle Royal Qualifier Hardy Boyz... although they might be just starting out at this point. * New Blackjacks vs The Nation The Nation. Dur. * Legion Of Doom vs New Midnight Express Well that is a tricky one. I'll go with the LoD, just so Cornette throws a hissy-fit. And nice dynasty so far. Already deviating from the way it was after Montreal in real-life, but that's fine. Love seeing the alternate reality thing go about.

I have changed the Taz vs Taz thing to add Lawler to the match. My mistake, thanks for pointing it out. And I can assure you that no, the prize for 'Mania predictions is not who to Jesus push, I'm under enough pressure from McMahon with who to push without having you lot on my back as well! The prize involves the next PPV; it's not a great prize but I plan on doing for every PPV prediction winner so it can't be too good.

D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels, Triple H & New Age Outlaws) vs Owen Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin & Mankind in a 3 on 4 Handicap Match - I don't see Owen, SCSA and Mick working too well together in this one Kane & The Rock vs The Undertaker & Ken Shamrock - Shamrock's the weak link in this matchup, for me at least Goldust & Taz vs Jeff Jarrett & Jerry Lawler - A dq finish perhaps? Sabu vs Tommy Dreamer in a Hardcore match - coin flip on this for me, can't go wrong with either one Headbangers vs Hardy Boyz in a Battle Royal Qualifier - if the Headbangers disappeared, would anyone notice? New Blackjacks vs The Nation - this could be a really good feud for a while Legion Of Doom vs New Midnight Express - Ahhhh, what a rush

As usual, I would have to ignore it and let my dented ego hide away yet again.
keefy, keefy, keefy... I was just drinking a Hot Chockie and you come out with that, suffice to say I nearly covered my screen with hot cocoaey gooey caffeine from shock laughter. :) Awesome!

D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels, Triple H & New Age Outlaws) vs Owen Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin & Mankind in a 3 on 4 Handicap Match - I don't see Austin, Owen and Mick working together well enough to beat a cohesive unit with a numbers advantage. Kane & The Rock vs The Undertaker & Ken Shamrock - Kane gets the W but Taker gets revenge. Goldust & Taz vs Jeff Jarrett & Jerry Lawler - Draw this one has pier 6 written all over it.... ah oldschool, don't ya love it? Sabu vs Tommy Dreamer in a Hardcore match - mostly because Dreamer rules, plus he's the least likely to kill himself doing a springboard back elbow. Headbangers vs Hardy Boyz in a Battle Royal Qualifier - Headbangers are filler and the Hardy's are on their way up. New Blackjacks vs The Nation - The Nation will do well for a while before Faarooq turns on them and teams with Bradshaw kicking Windham to the curb. Legion Of Doom vs New Midnight Express - Roadies rule.. plus I can't bring myself to vote for sparkplug bobby.. EVER.

keefy, looks like another quality card D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels, Triple H & New Age Outlaws) vs Owen Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin & Mankind in a 3 on 4 Handicap Match I see a bit of tantrem tantrem between Hart and Austin post match though. Kane & The Rock vs The Undertaker & Ken Shamrock I think the Rock is going to serious p!ss Shamrock off leading to Wrestlemania, before Shamrock gets the W at the big W. Goldust & Taz vs Jeff Jarrett & Jerry Lawler Underhand tactics coming into play if you ask me. Which you didn't, but nevertheless.... Sabu vs Tommy Dreamer in a Hardcore match Only because he's getting over in my diary :-) Headbangers vs Hardy Boyz in a Battle Royal Qualifier I think they have better all around skills and should get the push out of this match. New Blackjacks vs The Nation No real thoughts here. Legion Of Doom vs New Midnight Express The lights are on but noone's home... in my lighthouse (IE I don't have any particular thoughts here.)

They took the match to the Headbangers and hit their fast-tempo, daredevil moves perfectly, including a jaw dropping Poetry In Motion turned dive to the outside by Jeff Hardy. The Headbangers wound up resorting to dirty tactics to slow the youngsters, to the obvious displeasure of the crowd. Eventually, Matt hit a DDT and Jeff ascended the top rope, but Thrasher pushed him out of the ring and Mosh hit a low blow and rolled Matt up for the victory. Once again, Mabel was on form, and has really shocked everyone at his ability to play the monster in matches. He has excellent chemistry with D’Lo Brown, who has also been looking great in recent weeks. The match ended when Mabel hit the Embalmer on Windham and D’Lo finished him off with a Lo Down. Terry Funk was great as the guest colour commentator, and seemed respectful of both men. Both men made full use of the weapons under the ring, in particular tables and chairs. The match ended when Sabu hit his Arabian Facebuster for the victory. Winner: Sabu in 9:55 Rating: B+ After the match Terry Funk left the announcers position and walked back up the ramp to the locker room when Sabu ran up from behind and hit him with a steel chair in the back of his head, busting him open quite severely. ---------------------------------------------- The Rock goes to Kane’s locker room type area to bond with him and to make sure he has his back in their tag match later, but Kane ignores he is even there, despite The Rock’s best efforts and gags. ---------------------------------------------- Up Close And Personal With Stone Cold Steve Austin is aired. ---------------------------------------------- Taz and Goldust vs Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jeff Jarrett vs A good match where the tensions ahead of Wrestlemania here virtually at boiling point. Jarrett used every trick in the book to get into Goldust’s head, but it turns out Goldust is better at the mind games, causing all three superstars to freak out at once. Taz is his usual aggressive self, and Lawler does everything in his power to avoid him. After about 10 minutes Jarrett drags Marlena in to the ring and begins to Figure Four Leg Log her, when Goldust stops him and tries to hit the Shattered Dreams. While the referee is occupied with Marlena Lawler hits Goldust with the guitar and Jarrett pins him. Winners: Jeff Jarrett and Jerry Lawler in 10:31 Rating: A However, Jarrett starts taunting both Marlena and Goldust when Taz locks him in the Tazmission. After Taz chases Lawler out of the ring, Marlena passes Goldust hair clippers and he begins to shave Jarrett’s head! ---------------------------------------------- Mankind is sitting alone in his boiler room when Stone Cold walks in. Austin: Look, Mankind, we have to talk about this tag match tonight. With that, Owen Hart walks in as well, after a brief staredown with Austin, he talks. Owen: I presume you are here why I am. Austin: I’d imagine so. Look, I don’t like either of you and you don’t like me. Mankind: I like you. Owen: Shut up. Mankind: Okay. Austin: But the bottom line is we’ve gotta team up to kick DX’s a**. If we work together, we can beat them and go on to Wrestlemania as enemies again. Mankind: You’re not my enemies. Owen: I’m on board for this match, but I will kick your butt the second I get a chance. Austin: You better, ‘cos at ‘Mania I will open the biggest can of whoop-a** in history. Both walk out. Despite Shamrock’s ankle injury, Undertaker and Kane were kept apart for match of the match. However, after ‘Taker sits up following a Rock Bottom, Rocky panics and tags in Kane. After an explosive exchange. ‘Taker tagged in Ken Shamrock, who lived up to his name of “The Worlds Most Dangerous Man”. However, his injury took its toll before Kane hit a Tombstone Piledriver to continue his undefeated streak. Winners: Kane and The Rock in 11:36 Rating: A ---------------------------------------------- D-Generation X are interviewed, saying how the tag for this years ‘Mania is “DX Raided” and they will justify the name with a 100% record. A video is then played highlighting the rivalry between the three men in the Wrestlemania Main Event. Before the match started Marcus Bagwell made his way down ring to add colour-commentary to the main event. ---------------------------------------------- Three On Four Handicap Match Mankind, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Owen Hart vs D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels, Triple H & New Age Outlaws vs All seven men had their working boots on tonight, and the match was pretty even until Mankind was isolated by the degenerates. When he tagged out, all hell broke loose and the match turned into a brawl for all. However, just after Mankind locked in the Mandible Claw on Triple H, Marcus Bagwell interjected himself, hitting the Outlaws, Triple H and Mankind with a chair, causing a no-contest to the huge displeasure of the crowd. Winners: No-Contest after 11:38 Rating: A* As Bagwell stands over the fallen bodies, he turns to Michaels and waits for him to get up. However, by the time HBK is up Owen and Austin have joined the ring and surrounded the “Buff One”. He tries to plead with them, but Michaels hits him with his Sweet Chin Music so he turns into Austin who hits him with a Stone Cold Stunner. Owen locks in the Sharpshooter when he’s on the mat, until Shawn Michaels tries to Superkick Hart. Owen catches it and spins him around, so HBK is facing the two contenders for his title. As they begin to close in on him, Michaels backs out of the ring, and Austin and Owen turn to each other and stare each other down. ---------------------------------------------- Final Rating: A, it should have increased our popularity. The USA Network saw a sharp increase of viewers tonight to 737,987. QUICK RESULTS

D-Generation X fought Stone Cold, Owen Hart and Mankind to a no contest. The main event saw Hogan defend the belt against Meng, and Chris Jericho’s ascent to the top continued by teaming with Randy Savage to beat Harlem Heat. The Outsiders once again teamed to beat The Giant and Lex Luger, and Chris Benoit was surprisingly put in a match against Sensational Sherri. That truly is sensational.
How did you get the Hardy's??? Im doing my damndest to put OMEGA out of bussiness because while one is the owner and one the head booker I cant hire them
I'll be honest, I cheated. Before I started the game I made their contracts Pay Per Appearance. Therefore they stay with OMEGA as Head Booker and Owner and work for them, and work for me too, until OMEGA go out of business anyway. I don't usually cheat, but I'm a fan of thriving tag team divisions, and I figured with tag teams such as the Godwinns I needed a bit of talent in there. I'm sure you will agre when you see one of the newest tag teams I add...

Here's my predictions. Triple Threat Match fir the WWF Title Shawn Michaels (c) vs Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Owen Hart I have a feeling what with the game and all you'd wanna keep Owen's momentum high and give him the belt to carry into matches. So I'll pick him. Wouldn't be surprised if Austin gets it, though. The Undertaker vs Kane The Undertaker. Gotta keep the streak going. ;) The Rock vs Ken Shamrock The Rock, simply so you can try and see if TEW gets him over with this historical gimmick change. WWF Intercontinental Title Match Goldust (c) vs Jeff Jarrett Jarrett wins! I sense evil afoot! Street Fight Mankind vs Triple H Triple H. Foley can take the hit. King Of The Court Open Challenge Jerry “The King” Lawler vs Taz Taz is the guy you want going up. And at Wrestlemania, might as well give him the notch. WWF Hardcore Title Match Terry Funk vs Sabu vs Tommy Dreamer I'm picking Sabu, although any one of them I think can win here. WWF Tag Team Titles Match New Age Outlaws (c) vs Winners Of The Battle Royal The Nation! If Mabel's doing great, keep that thing going! Battle Royal For The Number One Contendership Of The Tag Titles Legion Of Doom vs The Nation vs Marc Mero & Dr Death vs Headbangers vs Edge & Christian What I said. WWF Light-Heavyweight Title Match TAKA Michinoku (c) vs Chavo Guerrero Jr TAKA. Chavo's still green here. TIE BREAKER Wrestlemania is famous for its unpredictability. What unscheduled occurrence do you expect to see at the grandest stage of them all? A sudden appearance by a former WCW/ECW star! And no, not Bagwell, someone else! Maybe someone to beat down Bagwell? And so it begins...

keefy, there's a number of great diaries springing up, I'll go on record as saying this is my favourite. This is sensational, from top to bottom. Your booking makes a lot of sense, it fast-tracks stories, but always leaves more questions unanswered to bring us back for more. It's that sort of mind I wish WCW could have tapped into mid '98 before it became too late, your sharp wits as a booker is the sort of wits that would know the right way to end the nWo and promote the Benoits, the Jerichos, the Giants, the Kanyons, the Guerreros', the Mysterio Jrs, the Guerreras, the Raven's up to the top where they belong, perhaps rivalling the likes of Bret Hart, Ric Flair and Sting in a nice mix. I digress though, but mainly I want to say I'm loving reading this diary and this is a real credit to these boards where there's a lot of quality, but there's only one From Montreal to Attitude. WWF Title Owen Hart - he's got to get one, and that could further fuel the fires of Austin and build a long term dynasty of a fued Taker to stay undefeated at 'Mania Kenny Shamrock - I think Rock's vignette where he showed how much work he thought he had to put into preparing for Shamrock only leaves two outcomes, one a tainted Rock win, or Shamrock massacaring him I'll go the Dust - who doesn't love Shattered Dreams Productions? Taz to go over the King Tommy Dreamer to go over Funk and Sabu Mankind to beat HHH Edge & Christian Chavito Guerrero Looks a great card, another great Wrestlemania moment with the triple threat. That's the one thing you can bank on Wrestlemania, great great history defining main events. And you've captured that essence brilliantly.
