  1. I think the auto-booker should use the stables. I see that there is the occasional match, but i have 8 stables with 4-6 members in them and i simulated 6 events and so far zero angles/matches booked. Maybe there should be an option in the stables section to some how influence this. Maybe have the option to Choose the level the stable is "Main event, Upper Mid, Midcard, Low Mid, Enhancement, off-screen". If you choose their level to be Main event, then the stable will be involve in matches / angles all the time (the AI + autobooker will use them more). Enhancement stables will rarely be used, if you have off screen, basically they are only booked by the player (assuming the promotion is controlled by a player, if not Enhancement is the lowest level). These are just some basic suggestions for the names. Simply we need to have the stables more involved in the booking, especially if they are "integral" for the company product. Also the "important" option. What does that even do? If it does something, i cannot see the effect of that.
  2. ok thanks, i found it, however it would be good if we had the option the same as we do for your own roster (when a worker is on your own roster, you simply click on the personality type and you get the pop up window explaining).
  3. Hmm, but does that not mean that over time much more workers will be joining (because there will likely be more dojos due to workers taking on those jobs)? Wont that cause an issue with the game slowing down?
  4. When i am looking at workers (especially when trying to sign them), i see their personality type, however i do not understand all of those personalities. I cannot see the effects of that personality, so basically i am recruiting on chance. There should be the option to click on that personality and get some feedback.
  5. In 2016 you could have regeneration on and new workers off. This means only workers from the current database could re-enter the game after they retired/died. There was also the feature to increase the amount of new workers in the game from low to high i think. I cannot find this option, i can only see the regenerate option. You could also edit in the database when new workers would join the game. This is also not available. Have they been removed?
  6. Currently we get messages in the mail that a worker wants to move up, however there is no button in that mail to quickly do this or to at least send us to the place i am suppose to do this. So i have to go to developmental, find the worker, look for where the feature is to promote and only then bring them back. 2-3 more clicks than necessary.
  7. I like to build up some history into my games, so speed matters. At the beginning i was impossible for me to play TEW 2020, as the booking was tedious. Usually i run 5 events per week (4 are TV shows). In TEW 2016, i had a save game with over 40 years history. Usually i leave all the worker development for my development territory, so i focus on the big names only. For me it is the auto-booker, my savior. That is why i need it to be at least avoiding penalties and shit. After i have the whole card auto-booked, i quickly go through the card, put the wins on the guys i want pushed and do some adjustments to some of the key angles. I have a spread sheet to give me some guide as to which workers have better skills and what area's and who i want to be burying/pushing. That takes a bit of time to set up but it helps once i get going. I also have main event focused for my angles and matches, that way i simply focus on the main couple of angles and matches, the rest i just make sure the right people win. I think that once the auto-booker gets streamlined out (i hope it will be), i think the game pace could actually be better in this game due to loading speeds. Personally, i have no idea how some players can run 2-3 events per week, without the auto-booker and still have a game which is 30-40 years old. You will basically die. Unless of course you simply spam matches and not pay any attention to what is going on.
  8. Well for one, in 2016 you could have Japanese companies (or any companies for that matter) have "Hire only foreigners on touring contracts", this was a HUGE plus, because these touring companies would build up worker skills much faster. Secondly, we do not have the problem we have now with the big Japanese companies signing up all the best talent. I did an experiment and released all the workers of the big companies to see what happened. BHOTWG ended up with a "mostly foreign" roster. Thirdly, i loved the "Touring regulars" feature in 2016. You could see some guys go on tour regularly and have other deals on the indy scene.
  9. It seems that there is several guys that will potentially buy the game after a few patches, assuming improvements are implemented.
  10. It just hit me, we cannot have touring contracts! I did not try one of the Japan companies but i just stumbled over the fact. Basically this means that workers cannot "tour" because the smaller companies cannot recruit them on touring companies and they cannot sign them to other deals due to restrictions (i have it semi-restricted) and the bigger ones simply sign them to written. Please return this feature to properly simulate the touring company scene.
  11. When you book an angle, you cannot see the actual workers stats. It would be great if it was instantly visible (for example when you choose entertainment, it should show their entertainment number) or at least it should be how it was in 2016, where you could "view" the worker. Now the only way to do that is to click on roster, then scroll to the worker and click on them, then search their stats...................that is 3-4 unnecessary actions.
  12. What product are you using? I am using Lucarescu Entertainment and it works well now. In the past i had a problem with the PG, i did not try the PG with the new patch.
  13. At the moment we have the pre-book option for particular matches. What i would love to have is the option to have a pre-booked card setup. What do i mean? I mean (as an example): Segment 6: Main event: 1 v 1, epic match for World title, 25 minutes, winner worker 1 Segment 5: Angle: Brawl 1 v 1, based on menace, 10 minutes, winner worker 1 Segment 4: 1 v 1, Steal the show, winner worker 1, 15 minutes, winner worker 1 Segment 3:Angle: Promote fight 1 v 1, based on overness, 10 minutes Segment 2: Opener: Match 2 v 2, Work the crowd, winner team 1, 15 minutes Segment 1: Pre-show: Angle #1, 2 workers, based on entertainment 6 minutes So instead of sitting and booking the whole show. I go to auto-booker and choose one of the pre-set events. I then just need to choose the participants and finished. I could have 3-4 such events, depending on the show i am running (for example my B shows will unlikely have title bouts involved etc). This way it saves MASSES of time to book a show. I mean, who wants to book 100 TV shows and 12 big events manually every single time. Most shows have a similar layout, you could want to add 1-2 different segments, but the general layout is more or less the same with different workers. This will save lots of time.
  14. I bought every Adam game to date and i will be buying TEW 2020. In general i am a little disappointing though, In the current state it is not really a much better game than 2016, just a different version of it, with some pluses and some minuses. The pluses: -Faster game. -Tournaments. -Better tag teams. -Improved title options. -Stables enhanced. -More interaction with workers. -More happening in general. -I like the perception system (took a while to get used to it). -I prefer new gimmick system. -I like the attribute system in comparison to characters. -Improved contract system. -Excursions added. -More options between company relations. The minuses: -Development territories are a serious downgrade, things from WMMA5 and TEW 2016 were removed without any real replacement. -Lack of control over your training facilities (such as training focus). -Weird AI booking (lots of repetitive booking). -Auto-booker needs a lot of work still (it has gotten better). -UI (Enough was said about that). -Custom products removed (one of the biggest complaints, although i have gotten used to the new system, i still prefer being able to edit my product). The game has gotten better since the beta release already. I think that if Adam continues to work on it, within 2-3 months it should be balanced out. Overall it is already a better game, just was a rough release.
  15. Resilience is important for sure, that is a key factor for longer careers. So basically they dont really do much. A few tough road agents would be nice (locker room people), but other than maybe athleticism, the rest are mostly flavor things. Personally thinking, i think power and athleticism should play a bigger role in match ratings, i would be good what the proportions are now. I guess it has to do with the product as well.
  16. I mean if your other skills are great, what do the physical skills (other than stamina) actually do? I am referring to power, athletic ability. I am assuming that they could influence the match quality or something? Or certain match types?
  17. ok wait, so star power directly influences popularity caps? If that is the case, then of course it matters a lot.
  18. In TEW2016 it was a must, because it was the main factor when competing in the battles. But how i understand now, it is down to worker overness and your show quality (if you have a combination of those two).
  19. yeah, there seems to be way too much repetitive booking from the AI.
