  1. That Porkchop Patterson defeated Robin Leroy match getting a zero is highly impressive. I know people strive to get a 100 match rating but to me zero is far more impressive. I mean how bad could that match possibly be?

I think I got a zero once in a match involving Taylor Kidd. I was so happy when that happened.

  3. Cezar Bononi (0-1) vs. "Savage Gentleman" Victor Benjamin (1-1)

You don't really seem all that high on Victor, so I am going for Cezar here.

Gods of War (Odinson (0-1) and Kratos (0-0)) vs. Local Talents

This is probably the toughest one here, as Local Talents are one of the most dominant teams ever...:p

Real1 Krew (Alanis (0-1) and Gray (0-1)) vs. Artemis Spencer (1-1) and ???

SCHAFF (3-0) vs. The Steiners "New Age" (Debut)

Now I am being serious with this one. I have no idea where this one could go because I could truly see it going either way. I mean it would make sense that a new talent managed by the Steiners would get the win here. But SCHAFF seems to be the man in this promotion.

Davey Boy Smith Jr (2-1) and "Big" Sean Studd (0-1) vs. Afa Jr (1-1) and Sefa Fatu (Debut)

I wonder if Sean is the weak link in this match, I went with him and Davey anyway.

  4. I get what you are saying but I still like physical copies. This is why when I posted above, buying digital or even renting digital did not cross my mind.

I probably would not be as open to a streaming service, because I might not use it that much.

The thing I dislike about buying digital (not streaming) is that you do not own the product you bought. Or at the very least if you buy through Amazon that is the case. They say that Amazon sells you a license to whatever digital media product they sell to you. Now I have not gone through the TOS of the XBOX store to see if that is the case with them as well, but if I was a betting man I would think it is the case.

Basically, they can pull the product at any time and you have no recourse to protect yourself. So I would much rather have a physical copy especially if I am paying sixty dollars for something.

  5. In insanely hyped for 2077 but am also very worried that the early reviews are only PC. They seem to be trying to keep console versions extra hush hush with no footage or reviews which I’m surprised isn’t a bigger red flag for people. I’m debating if I should pick it up to play it over the holidays or wait until next year when I can get a 4K tv and hopefully a PS5 at a reasonable price.

I've heard it was buggy for the PC. Not sure if it is that way for the PS5 as well. I was thinking about getting it for my XBOX, but like you I might wait until the price goes down.

It is odd but I don't find games must buy anymore. I remember years ago when Grand Theft Auto San Andreas first came out I stood in line for two hours starting at midnight, just so I could have the chance of getting the game the first day. Now I could wait months before I go out and buy the latest hit game.

  7. - Omega vs Mox © was a MOTY Contender. I was so engrossed I started rooting for Mox to win even though Omega made more sense from a booking perspective. Callis you dirty dog!

If that was a MOTY contender then wrestling must have been really bad this year. That match was horrible. I was not going to post my opinion about it because I did not want people to think I was trolling. I did not want to be told to stay out of the thread if I do not have a pro AEW opinion (Which how come nobody ever took that stance in the WWE or TNA threads? Why is the AEW thread the only place where negative opinions on the company are not allowed?).

But yeah that match was just not very good. The ending was beyond bad and the whole sitting in the chair thing was just dumb.

Where was the logic to that? How could that make any sort of sense? Why would you do that in the middle of the match? Why not go for the pin?

Yes I am not a fan of Omega, but I do like Moxley and I watched the match. Well mainly because nothing else was on, but I also wanted to see if maybe I was wrong. Maybe if I saw Omega in a match with someone I like, then maybe I could say, "Hey this was not that bad." But no, they just reinforced my opinion.

The funny thing is that part that was really bad was Moxley's doing. He was the one who brought the chairs in.

It is always good to see Sting. But I am not sure what they can do with him. I don't think he can wrestle anymore after what Seth Rollins did to him, though I could be wrong. What other roles could he possibly fill?

I am not sure if he will even bring eyeballs to the promotion. He did not do it for TNA and that was when he was still able to wrestle.

I started up a sister promotion called Cape Cod Wrestling (CCW) and that promotion features a lot of the workers on this roster. I opened CCW in January in order to build the New England popularity of some of my lesser known workers. </p><p> </p><p> That way, when they started here they would have some popularity. The reason for doing this is because at the start of my game the New England area was a waste land of local workers. In fact, and I am going by memory here, only Mullet Mike, Oscar Ozymandias (Hollywood Hank), Extreme Deluxe, and Cip Conduit were the local workers.</p><p> </p><p> I signed all four to work for CCW, but I only signed Mike and Cip for this promotion. This is because I have used Hollywood Hank to death in my diaries and Extreme Deluxe absolutely sucks. Extreme Deluxe is constantly hurting other workers and has become a pain to deal with. I want to fire him but I need to find someone that could replace him at his popularity level.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>3.</strong> The Jet Set is my shameless ripoff of The Dynasty in MLW. Granted my version is not going to be as good but I shall try to make them somewhat entertaining. </p><p> </p><p> Also, I have to say Tavon is a ratings machine. The dude turns out great match rating after great match rating. The same goes for Raphael, Remmy, and Conner. The four of them are just fantastic.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>4.</strong> The whole safe space with cookies, coloring books, and milk is based on an article I read a few years ago in my local newspaper. There was a speaker who was invited to speak at Brown (The Ivy League College) and I guess the speaker was controversial (I do not recall who it was). There was a segment of the students who complained and protested this speaker being allowed to speak on the campus. </p><p> </p><p> So the admin at Brown announced that they were going to have a safe space set aside for anyone who felt unsafe over this speaker, speaking at Brown. It was touted as being a quiet room where cookies, milk, and coloring books were to be provided. I thought this was some sort of joke but it was not. I remember thinking to myself when I found out it was not a joke, "These are some of the richest people in America. Some of them may very well be the future leaders of America and they need a quiet place with coloring books, milk, and cookies. Just because a speaker they do not like is speaking on campus. What kind of a joke is this?"</p><p> </p><p> <strong>5. </strong>That's about it, if anyone has any questions about anything or comments feel free to post them.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Historian" data-cite="Historian" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="52316" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I will be checking this out. I was trying to get my first six shows written but after reading Historian's No Ordinary Men and looking at the roster for willr0ck's new diary. I just felt the urge to put this up.</p><p> </p><p> So I guess the two of you gave me the push I needed to finally post this.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Texasrangers13" data-cite="Texasrangers13" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="52316" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Intrigued!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thank you. I will be following.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> A lot are either free agents or there was something I liked about them. Gald to have you on board.</p>
  9. <p>I love your presentation. You actually managed to get me to read your backstory which is something I tend not to do.</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky Turner & Jebediah (I am going against everyone else with this pick, but I think Ricky and Jeb are more over. Maybe that does not matter, but that is how I am looking at things when making this pick.)</p><p>

Game Changers (I simply think this is a matter of them being more well known.)</p><p>

Texas Hangman (El Loco can be a pain to deal with.)</p><p>

    Animal Harker</p><p>

Some quick roster notes and other notes about this diary. For those familiar with the C-Verse I have changed some of the names. Obviously, the Mullet Mike one was the name I pointed out. Also changed are...Zippy Deverell to SJW, Papa Swoll to BP SWOLL, Lion Heart will be using his real name Langston Franklin, Lucinda Lush will be using her real name Lucinda Larouche, Pepper Pelton to Paulie Pelton, and Sweet Tabitha to Tabitha Mara or just Tabitha.

The reasons for these changes are in the case of Pepper Pelton, I just found a grown man calling himself Pepper to be ridiculous so I changed that. In Tabitha’s case, I did not want my backstage correspondent to be called Sweet Tabitha so I gave her a last name which I hardly use in the dairy. In the cases of Papa Swoll, Lion Heart, and Lucinda Lush I just felt their other names that Adam listed in their respective bios were better.

Zippy to SJW is because Zippy is going to be playing a Social Justice Warrior type of character. This character is bound to offend some and I might not be keeping him around for the long term.

I changed Canadian Hardcore’s team name to Brutality Incorporated. This was simply because Canadian Hardcore sounded too much like a porn film made in Canada. So I axed that.

I forgot to add, for any wrestler who it says, "fighting out of", they were originally from another region and they moved to New England (Which ended up saving me tons of money as I edited their travel pay once they moved to New England.).

Hi folks, first and foremost I want to give credit to LucasLutkus for creating the awesome NEW logo. It was not created for me, but the minute I saw it I knew if I was going to do another diary this would be the logo I would like to use.

Okay, so I have done plenty of diaries in the past some have been long-lasting, some not so much. A few of my diaries have been lost to the sands of time due to the great diary purge of last year. There are a few still up so if you want to look them up feel free to do so.

This diary is not going to be a work of art, you can expect a lot of typos, misspelled words, and missing words. I am going to make this a complete kayfabe diary, which means there will be no behind the scenes posts. I hate writing match write-ups with a passion (I am also not very good at writing them). Therefore, my match write-ups are going to be brief summaries of what happened. Some might be very brief while others will be longer, it really depends on how much I want to write.

As to why I am calling this The Ballad of Mullet Mike and who is Mullet Mike. Well, some of my prior diaries had that title, which I ripped off from GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony, and so I thought I would continue the tradition. The wrestler in the title is never the focal point of the diary.

Who is Mullet Mike? He is Dead Man Walken in the C-Verse. When I saw the render I realized he could be a dead ringer for my friend Mike who has a mullet much like Dead Man Walken. So as cool as the DMW name is, I had to name him Mullet Mike in honor of my friend. Who will never read this and if he did he would bust my balls about writing fan fiction.

One final thing I would like to say, I actually started writing this back when I bought the game and I have, I believe, the first five shows written up. Therefore, at the very least, there will be five shows posted. I thank everyone who has decided to check this out.

  12. I was more so asking for basic fundamental help on how to do things like add pictures or place boxes around large blocks of text in a post. I am an absolute novice on how to post on the forums and there's probably a really easy answer to all of my questions right in front of my face. I probably just need someone who knows what their doing to tell me how to do these basic things.

However, seeing your outline was a very welcome surprise, and it will be a good item to take inspiration from when I need to make my own version of a show card.

Well, I learned something new here, we are not allowed to post pictures in this section of the website. I just spent the last five minutes trying to figure out if I had forgotten how to do it, only to realize we can't do it here.:o

Anyway, most people who post pictures on here have an Imgur account where they store the pictures they want to post on here. Once you set up an account over there you can start adding pictures there you will be provided with a code for the picture you want to post.

You want to use the BBCode and the code should look something like this...

    fJTeJom.jpg?1

Now if we were in a section where you could actually see pictures you would see the picture that I posted.

I am sure there are probably people on here that could better describe what you would like to do. I hope that this might be of some help to you and makes some sense. I know it can be a little daunting if you have not done it before. I post on a Wiki site and it took me a bit to figure out how to post on there. So I fully understand where you are coming from.

I think a good idea would be to go into a diary that has a presentation that you like. Quote the post and look at their post to see how they set-up their diary.

  13. As a true child of the 90s, and a certified lover of nostalgia, I checked out the new Saved By The Bell on Peacock, (yes, I've got that one as well. It's got SeasQuest AND ExoSquad among its list of shows, not to mention ALL 419 seasons of Saturday Night Live... my hands were tied).

I was kind of expecting bad, but I thought it was pretty good actually. Not sure if it matches up with the original, but it was a solid effort nonetheless.

Do they have that one season of SNL when everyone was fired with the exception of Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo?

Man SNL is so terrible now. I understand that it goes in cycles and I have not watched this year. But every time I would watch last year, it seemed like every joke would just fall flat. The only time the show was half-way decent was when Eddie Murphy was brought back to host because he's Eddie Murphy.

The same thing goes with Late Night talk shows. All it is, is Trump this, Trump that. It might have been somewhat funny at first but when every monologue they do is about Trump and half the time they are not telling jokes they are just lecturing us about how bad he is, it just gets old and I am not even a Trump supporter.

I am not sure what Stephen Colbert is going to do now that he has to try and be funny again. Jimmy Fallon and James Corden are both just lame and their skits are just not funny. Then you have Jimmy Kimmel the ultimate corporate sell out. He used to be edgier when he was on the Man Show, now he is a shell of his former self.

It is pretty telling that there was a poll recently done about who was America's favorite talk show hosts and numbers one and two were Johnny Carson and David Letterman. Because they were good at their jobs, especially NBC era David Letterman. It is pretty sad when Carson who has been off the air for what thirty years is still considered the best.

Watch old clips of Carson on YouTube and you will see why he is considered the best. Or watch Letterman and see how there were some guests he just had total disdain for and he did not even try to hide it.

At this point, I say they should bring in Graham Norton from England because at least he is actually funny. Okay sorry about the rant.:D

  14. I never had the best looking presentation but I would typically do something like this for my shows (As an example) and I am not sure if this is what you are looking for...

    Name of show

    Location:

    Attendance:

    Show Rating:

I would then do my match write-up and it would look something like this...

The Following Match is for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship:

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair © with JJ Dillon

    Match:

    • Hacksaw gets the crowd going with a "USA", chant despite the fact that both he and Ric are from America. Nobody ever would accuse Hacksaw of being the smartest person though.

    • Hacksaw is in control but JJ trips him up from the outside of the ring.

    • Ric then locks Hacksaw in a figure four leglock causing Hacksaw to verbally submit.

Winner and still NWA World Heavyweight Champion: Ric Flair

    Time: 15:14

    Match Rating: 88

That would be my basic set-up of how I would structure a match and what have you. I am not sure if that is exactly what you are looking for, but if you like it just quote my post and I believe all of my bolds, centers, and what have you should be there.

Edited to add: I would have pictures in my match write-up box as well. I usually would put them right about the wrestler's names.

  16. I did not see the Da Pope thing coming, but I like it. I always liked him in TNA, I mean I know he was in WWE also, but I honestly did not watch much of them at that point so I never really saw him there.

I met Sugar Dunkerton a few years back at an indy show, he was in the crowd watching the matches. My buddy and I stood there and talked to him for a few minutes, he seemed like a nice guy. Glad to see you have him here.

I might have been one of his only fans in TNA but I always thought he did a great job there.</p>
