  1. Anyone have any re-renders for the two Montgomery kids (Robert Montgomery Jr and Kyle Montgomery)? I was thinking of having them be part of a stable with Robert Montgomery as the mouthpiece and Dreadnought as the muscle with a female MMA fighter thrown in for good measure (kind of like Diamond Mine). Rob Jr is a Heavyweight, and Kyle is a Muscular Middleweight if it makes any difference.
  2. Starting fresh...again. I have a better idea of what I want to do now. I was getting massacred in the regional battles, so moved to the Southeast, and focused on guys who have decent to high pop in the area (available to hire) and ended up with a varied roster. My cruiserweight division is mostly unknowns (seems realistic!). Still the same crop of folks at the top, but will run a different show this time than I always do. Having done a test run, some big names might be one available in month 2 or 3 so that will help. Also, lots of conflicting schedules, so I will have to learn to niluggle those. Might have to replace some if they are just never available. I have found some new workers (from my previous games). Looking forward to those possible stories.
  3. Did you get the PWG logos created? If not, put down the names and I should be able to work on them.
  4. Really enjoyed NXT this week. B-Fab ab and the Legado girl do nothing for me though. Really enjoyed Extreme Rules. Sasha and her mannerisms are beyond annoying though. I would say a more serious Alexa is coming, but they tend to make decisions based on merch, so probably not. Otherwise we would have seen a more serious Big E already. Liked his backstage promo, but dude, you're the champ now, you need to separate yourself from the silliness of the New Day. The end of the main event was hokey, but when some face/body paint gives you special powers I can accept it. Cracks are starting to show on his title reign, but not sure when they will pull the trigger on it. And the Usos stole a catchphrase? Didn't even notice. Their constant "yeah Uce" and other slang is beyond annoying so I just tune out whenever they talk. Finally - it was hilarious to see Hardy botch his finisher, the announcer cover for it brilliantly, and then rather than adjust, they just get up and do the move again. Expected more out of a vet, but was still funny.
  5. First game with the expanded CVerse, and starting out in the Mid South. Decent show was good for 3rd place (out of 3) in the regional battle. An SWF cast-off is on the way. And when Wrestleworld starts I expect to get on. First target? QAW.
  6. Not that it will, but it is a PPV that needs to go away. That, TLC, and Hell in a Cell. At least Elimination Chamber serves a purpose. Otherwise, these kinds of matches should be reserved for meaningful feuds.
  7. So am I understanding that this is out of the gate? A few options: Have the announcers talk up that Gauge and Benson is a heated (and hated) rivalry as evidenced by what just went down. Is Gauge available for angles? Have him call out Valentine as someone who is not worthy of going up against him, to duck him for the time he is out. Have Valentine say what he and Benson did doesn't have a place in TCW and that he would be a worthy champion. You could also go the usual route of champ is injured, fill the belt, then champ comes back with the "real" belt or comes back to challenge for the belt he never lost. Not familiar with TCW but would he be joining the Syndicate? Or fighting against them? (You say you don't want him involved with The Syndicate yet) If fighting against, have him fail the first time, but it plants the seeds for later on. If he will eventually join, have him interfere in the match in favor of The Syndicate but decide not to join. You would just need some reason why he cost the opponent the match. You can always go back to your original plan (Valentine with the TV belt) after.
  8. Great choices there, too. Can't believe I forgot the tag team was "Rich & Famous."
  9. I thought that was already Idol and Jordan, so I was trying to not use the same name for the stable. I will check the game later. I do like the name though.
  10. So is it just the RW stuff that is impacted? Can we make one link for the RW stuff that people can bump, and pin the other links? There are so many valuable resources (injuries, locations, CVerse expansions) - probably would have missed them had they not been pinned.
  11. Miz is infinitely more entertaining than Cody.
  12. Looking for a name for a stable consisting of Nathaniel Ca$ino, Jackpot Jordan, and Jake Idol. I was thinking of The House (as in "The House always wins!") But I am by no means married to that name.
  13. Starting NXT in the CVerse with Alex DeColt as my user character. (There are some awesome title belt renders that I just couldn't pass it up). First monthly event - 3 titles on the line, only the women's one hasn't been created yet. I want to have a little more traction with them before I set it up. I did something I have never tried - Lightweight and under division (Cruiserweight Title), and Middleweight and over division (World Title). I want to build the two titles as equals for the respective divisions. The tag team division has a mixture of both - some teams have one of each, some have both of the same. I think that is the one place I will let them mix. I think it will turn out well. I have some talented younger guys in the lightweight division, and the top of my middleweight division is populated by over (and older) workers.
  14. Both Icons, and Icons Revisited only have Yokozuna, Beth Phoenix, and RVD.
  15. They absolutely need to. He's a decent promo from what little I saw. The show was definitely hurt by the small crowd - especially because it seemed like it was the same 20 people chanting. It sounded a lot like pandemic era NXT, where they had the extras as fans.
  16. Caught the last third of Victory Road. Alexander is moving up to challenge Christian Cage at the next PPV via Option C. Maybe I wasn't paying much attention, but it just didn't impress. Alexander vs Sabin was good. Cage vs Ace was nothing to write home about. I guess the plan is Alexander beats Cage to usher in the he new era.
  17. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Christian_Shane" data-cite="Christian_Shane" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="48528" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I just noticed this today, but I'll throw in my two cents. I always change Masked Avatar into Mr Grappling (actually in 2020 he's Mr Grappling II since he's been de-aged, he's a protégé to the retired original). I always picture him as a guy that will never lose his mask, because it's essential to who he is. He might've performed without out it before, but removing it now would be a death knell for him. So, I figure he's probably similar to Mr Wrestling II or Mr Olympia. Great workers but in a maskless headshot, they wouldn't be marketable. Maybe prematurely old or balding or just really really plain. I think probably just really really plain and slightly older than his actual age is what I would look for in an unmasked render.<p> </p><p> <img alt="Lffdma9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Lffdma9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> I don't know who made this, but it's listed as Crockett Tubbs in my folder. This is sorta what I picture without the mask.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Wow, thanks for the in depth response. I really like the idea that without it, he is just a guy.</p>
  18. One year. 2002 game starting on Survivor Series. Had Heyman turn on Lesnar and take on Show as his top client. Had Heyman say that "in the interest of fairness, no rematches would be granted. Other people deserve a shot." Leading up to WM, someone would debut either attacking the next opponent or interfering in the match. So it ended up being something like 4 people and Show in the stable. Lesnar feuds elsewhere, but keeping an eye on Heyman and the stable. Starting July, Lesnar starts going through the stable, one by one, until getting a rematch out of Big Show at Survivor Series. Of course Brock goes over in the end. I forget where I went with it after, but the stable disbanded after Lesnar went through all of them.
  19. If you guys don't have the same workers on the roster, meaning no one has a contract with your company that has a contract with theirs, only those you do the talent trade for would be available to you. You could, however, have one company run the event on Friday, one on Saturday, and one on Sunday (as a 3 day event) and you each talent trade from each other who you will need for that show. I have never tried but with human controlled promotions there might not be limits on how many people you can borrow. Previously I always ran into an issue where companies said I had borrowed too many already.
  20. Are there any re-renders of Haiti Voodude (I think that's his name) in a more menacing Papa Shango-like paint?
  21. In a normal world, which WWE clearly isn't, there was so much to do with EC3. I think what hurt him was he came in when everyone else was coming in, so immediately he gets put in the ladder match for the NA Title, loses that, then I think he lost the next TakeOver...it's like he couldn't even get started there. Then they had Ambrose interrupt the segment on Raw and that was that. And Ambrose to me was just a goofy guy acting crazy/tough. We'll see how it goes. One thing I noticed about Knight is that he has a similar cadence in his promos to The Rock. It comes across as polished - probably part of what makes him come across as a star.
  22. I would love to see him get pushed successfully. To me he comes across as a star. Certainly too big for NXT.
  23. AEW was clearly the better WWIndie - fans weren't supporting Triple H's vision. It is what it is. Looking forward to what else they do.
