  1. Next up is OLLIE - looking back, it's really surprising that there are no graphics in the base CVerse data at all for events for ANY Mexican company. I've always felt like Mexico in the CVerse is one of the most neglected and least played areas, despite how important lucha is to pro wrestling. Was even more surprised that there isn't even a default belt design for the Women's championship in OLLIE. I translated most of the event names to Spanish, with the exception of LuchaSlam (portmanteau in English) and Mexico City Showdown (I tried, but I didn't realize just how long the translated name is...) @newbiezness You are the only person I know that is familiar with CVerse and lucha in general - how did these turn out? ________________________________ OLLIE: EVENTS/TV: TITLES: Universal / Mexico / Parejas Mundo (retired) / Trios / Mujeres
  2. One big change from TEW2016 to 2020 is that the AI companies are able to recognize tag team workers and prioritize hiring partners of workers on their roster, or signing a whole tag team at once rather than just poaching one worker. I'm only 3 years in, but other than some reunions that happened within two workers for the same company, Titan and Atlas ended up reuniting in TCW and even won tag gold in 2022. Atlas left USPW in Sept 2021 and worked GSW and PSW for 3 months before TCW snapped him up. Fortunately for him, SWF poached Killer Shark and the 3 time Tag champ Titan was without a partner. Pretty cool to see the big improvement in AI in 2020.
  3. Holy shit man this is amazing, 10/10. I can't wait to see you do the other Quest guys eventually.
  4. Hell yeah Walter, working through a promotion I have at least some familiarity with. Excited to see your takes on Hell's Bouncer and Mutant. Can we get a "Redneck Luchador" Super Sonic alt for Kid San Juan? Some "Quest" nostalgia from the old days: (this is an alt of the OG Kid San Juan, I can't find the original anywhere)
  5. Not surprised that The Next Big Things and The Duo made it big. The Duo could be way bigger if they fit RAW's product more, they would kill it if they just took a plane over to Japan. They are the Australian Ring Generals basically, but stuck on an island. Here's the updated download link - I was shocked at how much I managed to get done since the last link was posted. To keep track, I'm calling this version "0.2" since I am about 20% through all the promotion events and belts, so I can keep track of my progress as we go. _______________________________________ AI CREATES THE CORNELLVERSE (Last Update 12/1 - v0.2): DOWNLOAD LINK: https://www.mediafire.com/file/hpqe0l14sz82ci7/AIVerse_0.2.zip/file LAST UPDATED - 12/01/2023 Contents: Logos - 100% [Custom promotions - WCW, PPW] Banners - 100% [Custom promotions - WCW, PPW] Belts - 5SSW, 21CW, ACPW, APW*, BCG, CGC, CZCW, DIW, FCW, IPW, KCCW, MAW, QAW, QPW, RAW, SWF, TCW, USPW, VWA, WINNOW, ZEN [Custom promotions - WCW, PPW] Events/TV - 5SSW, 21CW, ACPW, APW, BCG, CGC, CZCW, FCW, IPW, KCCW, MAW, QAW, QPW, SWF, TCW, USPW, VWA, WINNOW, ZEN - [Custom promotions - WCW, PPW] Broadcasters - NONE Stables/Dojos - Golden Army - [A ton of custom stables] People - A ton of random custom ones if people are interested, I'm likely redoing these all last after finishing the above FIXES FOR NEXT UPDATE:
  6. Thirding the Bret Heartbreak stuff being great, it reminds me of the Buddy Murphy/Matthews angle from early 205 live but with way more personality and character to it, in the best ways. Big Mac is a massive pick up - from my perspective he's basically a heel Landon Mallory. A big star with the intangibles who made his name outside of GB, but with a couple of wins he'll be at the top of your card in no time. England's indies are severely lacking in talented wrestlers, and outsourcing is IMO the best approach until you have the infrastructure to build up some homegrown stars.
  7. The transition from event booking to weekly TV is always tough, and one aspect of it is how you handle the "first" show - do you stack the card, or do you treat it more as a soft introduction to your roster? I think it was a pretty ambitious first show. you put a lot of pressure on either new singles competitors or young unproven guys to try and put their best foot forward and unfortunately most of them didn't make the most of their minutes. Putting Jonathan Wesker in the main event of your first TV show is one of those things that'll be a trivia question a couple years down the line. Funny enough, in my TEW2016 I tossed him in developmental and he turned into a really great worker... but he needs a LOT of work to get there. Gareth Case is an awesome pick, IMO he's pretty equivalent in skill and skill set to Adrian McGhee so with the rocket strapped to him, he could easily slot into that "Top 8" if he has a strong year. Vortex has made the Sydney belt more of a special attraction, but I personally feel like Vortex is more the attraction than the belt itself. Part of me hopes he drops it sooner rather than later and you could get a midcard workhorse belt carrying your TV shows separate from Vortex. It's wild to think about where it started, but it feels like your tag division is hotter than ever right now, while the singles titles feel like they are in a holding pattern - Adgee's got a date with Warmonger in the future so anyone he interacts with who isn't tied to that feels like filler, and Vortex's character prevents him from being a constant TV fixture. Custard and Jelly are awesome. You've added a ton of "big" guys (on top of the two rookies, Diesel Dan, Warmonger, Sulphur, and even Gareth Case to an extent, Maelstrom to an extent) so I'm excited to see your first big "clash of the titans" when it does happen - I can see Diesel Dan being a big scalp for Warmonger on his way to a shot at Adgee down the road.
  8. Local Talent [vs] The Bern Boys (Schwarz & Piccard) w/ The Professor Excited to see who Scwarz and Piccard's first real challenge is ‘The Breeze’ Joey Beauchamp [vs] BW Eddie I think Eddie's got more juice to squeeze with this ‘The Rock ‘N’ Roller’ Sebastian Koller [vs] Vinny Vigilante Evan Alpass [vs] Gulliver w/ Chuck Frisby Yuri Iliakov w/ Viktor Beskov [vs] Doomsday w/ Edward Cornell Doomsday is still the pin eater for the Business 21CW World Title Number One Contenders Match: Apollo Prince [vs] Adam Matravers [vs] Phillip Cooper [vs] J-B Cash My heart says Apollo Prince, but head says Matravers
  9. Good start so far, big fan of the updated worker renders you put together. According to Wrestling Spirit 3, the canon move Heart Attack is "The trademark finisher of Bret Heartbreak, it is a Top Rope Flying Clothesline."
  10. Kingdom Championship Class Wrestling (KCCW) was the only diary I've been able to write more than a couple of events for. Had a lot of fun going back and reading it. In 3 months it'll have been 14 years since I wrote that, which is absolutely insane. Crazy to think that I've been off and on these boards for nearly half of my life... If anyone is interested, it's pretty miserable to read with the formatting change, but might be a fun nostalgia scroll. Was interesting seeing how many of the people who predicted back then are still active in this community to some level, and some names that I miss from back in the day. This is my favorite set so far. I hope this motivates some people to try out the Aussie indies in the CVerse, it's the most underrated game area IMO... Limiting myself in how many full size images I post, or I'll just keep posting more and more until I hit my image cap. I'll update the ZIP tomorrow with everything new since the last time I posted it. ________________________________ KCCW EVENTS/TV: TITLES: King's Crown (belt) / King's Crown (trophy/crown) / Knights Joust of Champions
  11. Thanks everyone. Currently working my way through KCCW, a promotion that's a bit near and dear to me as my only diary that made it past a couple of shows. I looked back and was pretty disappointed in myself from nearly 14 years ago (that's crazy to think about), as I only had 1 really solid name for an event. Here's the first 6 - working through the enjoyable usage caps of GPT+...
  12. Main Event Singles Match FCW Puerto Rican Championship Ash Campbell vs. Mutant (c) Ash comes over on what I assume is a COTT loan to put over Mutant in a filler match before the rematch with Handsome Stranger Semi Main Event Trios Match COTT World Six Man Championship The Latino Kings vs. The Council of Decay (c) The Latino Kings are one of the OG trios in the CVerse Singles Match FCW People's Championship Cobra vs. Xavi Ferrera (c) w/ Clare South Singles Match Kanishoki vs. Hell's Bouncer Tag Team Match FCW Tag Team Championship The Gonzalez Family vs. Relentless (c) w/ Clare South Opening Match Singles Match "Hands of Stone" Bradford Peverell vs. “The Triple Threat” Davis Wayne Newton
  13. Black Country Boys (Gazz Vedmore & Mickey Robson) vs The Northern Lights (Alton Vicious & Riddick Jordan) Black Country Boys are a good addition to NWF but unless they had some incredible development I don't think they should be beating the Northern Lights Landon Mallory vs Lenny Mochin Lenny's another great addition, and if he's a long-term hire I could see something of an upset as a possiblity, but I think Landon holds Jon Michael Sharp & Martin Heath vs State Of Mind (Brilliant White & Ultra Violence) Bounce back win the losers in the MOTN Cain Carlile vs Byron Can Cain bump hard enough to give Byron a good showing in victory? NWF Cruiserweight Championship: Nate Manchester vs Welsh Dragon (C) This could go in any number of directions, but it'd feel bad to be Welsh Dragon and lose the main event TV match right after the last two PPVs. Could see some shenanigans happening
  14. In my 2016 save that went 13 years, that would go to Blackwell Bush and Rob Edwards. Edwards made his debut in the end of 2016 as the hometown hero, and faced the resident frustrated midcarder Blackwell Bush, who cheated to give Edwards his first loss in his second MCW match. Edwards would win the next two, but Bush would find success first. Blackwell Bush would go on to win the MCW title at Glory Days 3 and growing increasingly paranoid throughout his title reign - he is able to put their series 2-2 in 2019, leading to a fifth match at Glory Day 4, a year after Bush won it. In the first ever MCW Ironman match, Blackwell Bush wins 3 falls to 2. After a relatively clean title reign, Bush cheats and bashes Edwards with the belt to take DQ but set him up for two consecutive falls as time expires to retain. Bush would add the services of Sean Quartermainne, Later in 2019, an Aussie Rules rematch between the two would again end in controversy, as a debuting unidentified duo would interfere in the match to stop Edwards from winning and help Bush retain. Bush would protest that he has no idea who that duo is (I'm sure you can see where I was going with this) as the Aegis would debut as the first external threat in MCW. It would be revealed they were working with MCW owner and my user character Ace Jordan, and they would help Jordan win after the former pretended to turn face to fight off the invaders. Bush would turn face after this, and would mostly wrestle alongside Edwards for the tail end of his MCW career, winning the MCW title in an upset against Lothar Prellinger before passing the torch to James Diaz at Glory Days VIII, and becoming MCW's cornerstone tag team and multi-time tag champion with Leon Nameth. Edwards would go on to be my cornerstone, being the man to topple Ace Jordan and hold the title a record 3 times and being my go-to babyface for the majority of the last 10 years. Their first encounter in 2017 would score a 36 (D-). In the build to Glory Days XII, Edwards would win the MCW title and Blackwell Bush, primarily a tag wrestler, would get a shock win in the Road To Glory rumble, setting up a face vs face rematch once again, 10 years since Bush won his first title, 11 since their first meeting. I didn't have the highest expectation for the match, but they managed to pull an 89 (A) in the main event, from competing in front of 100 people to 22,000 10 years later. It was fun to crack open my old Word doc from my 2016 TEW save, I forgot a lot of the details of their long rivalry so it was fun to reread it all.
  15. I know there were a few events (and maybe belts) that I did before I started saving them in the xcf. Can you let me know exactly which ones are missing so I can add them? Once I get that I'll upload everything so far in a new download link. Was a nice break with my dad in town until yesterday, but time to get back on track. Here's the rest, and I think I might do KCCW next. @Harts4Life Hope I you like - QAW: Events: Titles: World / Tag / Shockwave Queen Of The Ring
  16. Fantastic stuff @gazwefc83 - 700+ renders is absolute dedication, looking forward to seeing it through to the end. Would be awesome to have a CVerse mod where every single worker has the same style render.
  17. Incredible stuff as always Walt, seeing them all together is great. ZEN next?
  18. YEPW Fully Charged XVI D-Pod v Vortex Keep strapping that rocket to Vortex, he's $ and his character fits perfectly in YEPW Realm of Darkness Match Lance Maddigan v Trey Tallman A bit meta with this pick but on top of Trey being a main character to Lance's "friend of main character who dies", Lance is a pretty terrible worker Vance Sturt's Test - Round 3 The Party People v ??? Australian Devil v Black Flash Optional Questions Who's your favourite character in the diary and why? Definitely Vance, for reasons mentioned before Who from the Oceania scene would you like to see in YEPW? I only play Oceania and you are already using a lot of my go-to "character-first" wrestlers like Vortex, Australian Devil, etc. I think Rob Edwards would be an interesting addition - he's a shoot kickboxer, so you could go from shoot kickboxer to "Human Weapon" cyborg like Cage in LU. He's also unemployed, affordable, talented in the ring + capable on the mic.
  19. Ultimate Phoenix's Career Threatening Match Hijo Del Relampago vs Ultimate Phoenix Relampago continues to run through your lucha legends who are one foot into retirement and build up potentially the biggest heel in LAP's short history Amazing Fire Fly vs Samael The Executioner Guessing here, Samael doesn't seem like he's headed to the top of the card any time soon, so to spice up his typical "squash FCW guy" arcs of his story, Fire Fly gets a huge singles win thanks to some help from Ricochet Ramone LAP Women's Parejas Perez & Torres (Pinky Perez & Mariana Torres) ©️ vs Lilly & Rose (Kate Lilly & Debbie Rose) Don't want to see Lily and Rose become the Charlotte (or Alicia Strong) of your tag division LAP People's Sunburst ©️ vs Chess Maniac Sorry Sunburst, you were only allowed to be a champion because Chess Maniac didn't want it first. Checkmate. LAP Parejas Perez Xtreme (Frankie Perez & Jonnie Perez) ©️ vs The Hammers (Joffy Laine & Ox Mastadon) Solid defense for the Perez boys as Joffy and Ox get a chance to see if they can keep up in the ring with some of the top LAP originals Main Event: LAP Lucha Remmy Skye ©️ vs Frederique Antonio Garcia I just don't buy Remmy losing to any of Grace's guys at this point (EXTRA POINT) Which match will have the highest rating? Amazing Fire Fly vs Samael The Executioner
  20. Sad I missed the predictions for the past couple shows. Surprised to see Landon and Bret pull such a great match, disappointed with Byron and Dangermouth's. If Byron was 5 years younger, he could easily have been your #1 heel. Hopefully Bret can keep stepping up. Just out of curiosity, what are the British/Europeans like now 1 year past in your game? Any major signings or releases?
  21. From where the diary started, you have Beast coming off a disappearance after feuding with Roly - their partnership has felt like Roly does the bulk of the mic and character work while he has been the silent ally. I guess I haven't really seen him do or say anything "babyface" by himself without being swept along with Roly, if that makes sense? Match IV in the Best Of VII Series: ‘The Most Dangerous Man in Britain’ BEDLAM (I) [vs] ‘The Giant Client’ War Machine w/ Cliff King (II) I think War Machine (and Cliff King) go up 3-1 before Bedlam starts to fight back for the 7th match in the series Welsh Dragon w/ Aurelian Bradley [vs] ‘The Immovable Object’ Brickhouse Balder Welshmen are being groomed for the midcard while I don't think Balder has won since his whistleblowing and I don't expect a win any time soon for him ‘Cowboy’ Buck Winchester w/ Alfonso D’Angelo [vs] ???? Seems like a squash win set up to me ‘The Neanderthal’ Andrew Lee w/ The Lee FamiLee [vs] Lone Wolf Lone Wolf is at the very bottom of the card, while the Lees are a fun babyface group that you can just send out for a quick midcard match win to get the crowd pumped (I think of them like babyface Dark Order with Buff playing the Hangman role) Crouching Storm, Hidden Sifu [vs] Landon Mallory & Leigh Burton Could go the other way if the odd couple are able to coexist ‘DBF’ Daniel Black Francis [vs] ‘Awesome’ Wade Orson Poor DBF having to do the job as the midcard champ to the #1 contender. Should be a good match, and hopefully Wade doesn't win too cleanly
  22. BOW Tag Team Championship semi-final: Future X (Eric Future & Petey Barnes) vs The X Force (Christopher Lister & Jase Cole) comments: Tough call, could go either way Landon Mallory vs Michael Gregory comments: Surprised to see Michael Gregory show up unheralded since he's one of the few high ceiling British prospects not tied down to 21CW. Padraig O'Hearne & Konrad Makinen vs Merle O'Curle & Lenny Mochin comments: Merle and Lenny are more likely to be a cohesive unit, especially with Paddy being unhappy with Konrad last weke JK Lee vs Gordon Leve comments: Build momentum for PPV match Magnus Cage and The Fashionistas (Gianfranco Morelli & Roberto Milano) w/Holly Leves vs Three Lions (Jon Michael Sharp, Martin Heath & Nate Manchester) comments: Top babyface trio gets the win Clubber Kohl vs Bali Daljit comments: Hopefully Bali can walk himself to the back without assistance Brilliant White, Matthew Macks & Milton Hittlespitz vs Colin Picalo, Night Spyder & Strife comments: Tough match to call, another coin flip from me PLUS - All eight participants in the BOW Women's Championship ladder match come face to face ahead of For Whom The Bell Tolls
  23. Excited to see where this goes - no idea who any of these workers are, so my first predictions will all be guesses. Miami Street Fight: Sara Kai vs Simi Monroe Give your friend the first main event win after she went out of her way to help you with everything! Mia Brooks vs Valentina Morales Denise McGraw vs Calamity Jane Eclipse Echo vs Masked Mirage Estrella Voladora vs La Furia Cubana Questions: To the nearest 10 how many fans will the show draw? 40 Will Alicia Strong make an appearance? No How many different wrestlers will actually feature on the show? 6 - now that I think about it, Eclipse Echo/Masked Mirage/Estrella Voladora/La Furia Cubana are likely all the same wrestlers in masks...
  24. Was trying to come up with a witty Shomer Shabos joke, but I then realized I didn't actually know what Shomer Shabos IS - in the end I couldn't come up with anything clever, but I did learn something new. Hope you're having a great time hosting family for Thanksgiving + your birthday. We're hosting my Dad for Thanksgiving for the first time as well, but we're going out for Korean BBQ instead of cooking, so a little less dishes on my part thankfully.
  25. Going to see if I can manage to still post at least some update every day through this week: (some) QAW Events:
