  1. Remo Richardson signs with USPW! Last night live on Reverie’s streaming platform, USPW announced the latest blow in their war against the SWF – as it was confirmed that former 3-time SWF World Champion Remo Richardson had signed with United States Pro Wrestling! Remo is just the latest in a long line of former SWF stars jumping ship – with Rogue, Atom Smasher, Randy Unleashed, Valiant and Mainstream Hernandez all making the move in the past 18 months, but this one feels different. Remo Richardson has long been considered a ‘lifer’ at the SWF, after 21 years at the company. At only 32 years old, Remo should be entering the prime of his career. The announcement is said to have caught the SWF completely off guard, evidenced by the fact Remo is currently on an 18 match winning streak – most recently beating former World Champion ZWB at ‘Welcome To The Jungle’. Remo will be working his remaining dates, and you have to assume this winning streak will come to an end – but the question remains how will the SWF replace their number one Heel? The most likely option will be to turn to younger talent such as Jay Chord or Hollywood Brett Starr, but the question will remain – can they step up and fill the hole left by the man simply known as ‘Remo’? Jonathan Faust wins UK National Title to complete the Triple Crown There was a shock in Thursday nights episode of Best Of British Wrestling, as Jonathan Faust defeated Phillip Cooper in the Main Event to claim his first UK National Title, and in doing so become only the second person in the promotions history to claim the prestigious Triple Crown (after Adam Matravers first completed the feat back in 2008). Many viewers were shocked such a big moment happened on free TV, only a week ahead of the ‘We Will Rock You’ PLE. It represents a huge achievement for Jonathan Faust as he enters his 17th year with the company. JK Lee quits CWW! In huge news coming out of the North of England, JK Lee has spectacularly quit Championship Wrestling from Wigan (CWW). This represents a huge blow to the company, after Lee main evented nights 1 through 4 of the Summer Sizzler tour - putting on the best match in company history in a losing effort to new signing Ivan Ivanoff on night 4. Unsubstantiated rumours suggest that Lee was furious at being left off of the card for night 5 to make room for the new ‘big name’ signings announced last week. More on this story as we get it.
  2. WrestleWorld GB & NWF Present: National Wrestling Episode 42 Wednesday W3 August 2021 Show Rating: 73 Your Announce Team: Jackie Goldstein & Melanie Florence Jackie Goldstein: “Hello and welcome to National Wrestling! My name is Jackie Goldstein, and joining me at ringside is Melanie Florence.” Melanie Florence: “Thanks Jackie, we continue towards ‘The Battle Of Britain’ – we learned some of the competitors for the 20-man Battle Royal last week, and I can’t wait to find out who else will be competing!” Jackie Goldstein: “And in tonights Main Event, Landon Mallory returns to the ring for his first match since losing the British Heavyweight Championship at Victory as he faces Lenny Mochin!” Stardust Phil Cox VS Padraig O’Hearne The commentary team discussed the success JK Lee had seen since ditching Padraig O’Hearne as a tag team partner, focusing on Lee’s new role as the British Heavyweight Champion’s ‘Insurance Policy’. This match was O’Hearne’s chance to show that he too had moved on from the break up, and the Irishman put in a strong showing against Stardust Phil Cox as the pair Worked The Crowd. The match went just over ten minutes, before O’Hearne was able to hit his Crowning Glory (Swinging Fishermans Neckbreaker) to secure the victory. Winner: Padraig O’Hearne Rating: 52 We cut to the office of a frustrated looking network executive. Frank Finkleton was deep in conversation with Mo Adebola, with both mens clients lined up on opposite sides of the network executives desk. Frank Finkleton: “Mo, need I remind you that I am in charge around here… not you?” Mo Adebola: “Of course you are Frank, but need I remind you that I have a contract here signed by NWF lawyers guaranteeing my ‘insurance policy’ JK Lee a spot in the ‘Battle of Britain’ Battle Royal.” Frank Finkleton: “Give me that…” The network executive snatched the document that Mo Adebola was waving in his face, his eyes wildly scanning the text. After a moment a wicked grin formed on Finkleton’s face. Frank Finkleton: “Okay Mo, it seems I don’t have an option but to let your client enter the battle royal… but this document doesn’t state where your client will enter the battle royal – that right still belongs to me! So Mo, I am delighted to announce that your ‘insurance policy’ will enter the ‘Battle of Britain’ Battle Royal at number one!” Adebola and JK Lee looked furious, with the lawyer yelling at Finkleton that he couldn’t do this! The network executive told him to bring it up with the NWF lawyers and get out of his office! Adebola sulkily led JK Lee and Edison Silva from the office, as Frank Finkleton turned to his clients. Frank Finkleton: “If Moore and Adebola are going to start over my head, it’s time we started playing dirty too…” Rating: 68 Welsh Dragon VS ‘Black Thunder’ Jermaine Granger A fun, fast-paced, highflying contest here. Granger got some blows in early, but Welsh Dragon soon took over with Arm Drags, Hurricanranas, Drop Toe Holds, and more Arm Drags! Granger had no response for the former Cruiserwieght champions lucha-inspired moveset, and the Welshman was able to put his opponent away with his Dragon Kick (Spinning Thrust Kick from the top rope). Winner: Welsh Dragon Rating: 46 Next we cut to a pre-recorded video from the land of Schnitzel and Lederhosen, as we found Bret Heartbreak and Holly Leves in Germany. Bret appeared to know where he was going as he led Holly through the Bavarian streets towards an old German bar, and into the ‘Biergarten’ where Byron could be seen sat at the table with a stein of beer and a large crowd gathered to listen to the story he was telling. Bret made his way over to Byron’s table, and sat down opposite his father – who immediately dismissed the crowd and motioned to the waitress for three more beers. Bret Heartbreak: “I thought we’d find you here…” Byron: “What do you expect? Here they treat me like the wrestling god I am. Free food, free drinks… they idolise me! Whereas in the UK they seem to value a mans supposed musical talents, over his ability in the ring…” Bret Heartbreak: “We just wanted to make sure you were okay after Victory…” Byron: “Okay? I’m back in my element! Going back to that forsaken country only reminded me why I left in the first place…” Byron stood up to leave and the crowd gathered back around him. Holly Leves: “He does look happy Bret…” Bret Hearbreak (ignoring Holly): “How can you be happy leaving it like that? You hide away here while Dangermouth enters the ‘Battle for Britain’ Battle Royal and wins a title shot?” Byron seemed to consider Bret for a moment, before turning back. Byron: “The Battle Royal… the winner gets a British Heavyweight title shot… well I guess I could make one last trip back.” Bret grinned, as his father turned away once more and began regaling the crowd with the story of the last time he had entered a battle royal – winning it from the #1 position for the first time in EWA history! Holly Leves couldn’t help but look impressed at the size of the crowd gathered around Byron… he really was a local celebrity… Rating: 48 Black Country Boys (Gazz Vedmore & Mickey Robson) VS High Society (Dylan Drama & Joey Beauchamp) We cut back to the ring to find the men who had abandoned Byron a couple of months ago, Dylan Drama & Joey Beauchamp, in action against the Black Country Boys. Dylan Drama started the match for his team, and was happy brawling with Gazz Vedmore, but immediately tagged out once Mickey Robson entered the match – Drama’s parents hadn’t spent £15,000 per term on boarding school fees for him to wrestle a man with the nickname ‘Mighty Meaty’. However, Joey Beauchamp had no such qualms and laid into Robson with heavy right hands before dropping his opponent with a Breeze Block (Forward Russian Leg Sweep). With Robson knocked out, Drama was more than happy to tag back into the match. Beauchamp dealt with Vedmore, as Drama hit his Dramatic Conclusion (A wicked looking Headlock Driver) to rub salt into the wounds. Winners: High Society (Dylan Drama & Joey Beauchamp) Rating: 35 We cut away to the offices of Moore’s Sports Agency, where we found Mark Moore talking to his top client – Darin Flynn. Flynn seemed hugely excited about the upcoming Battle Royal that Moore had secured him a spot in, but was concerned by his recent lack of in-ring action. ‘The Prodigy’ tasked his agent with securing him a match next week on National Wrestling to help him ‘sharpen up’ ahead of ‘Battle of Britain’. Rating: 55 Dangermouth VS ‘The Mad Man from Northampton’ Toxic w/ The Professor Last week Dangermouth announced his intention to win the upcoming Battle Royal at Victory, and earn a shot at the British Heavyweight Championship! This match served as a warm up for the grime star ahead of ‘Battle of Britain’, as he faced one of the NWF’s newest signings – School Of Wrestling member Toxic. The Professor was very vocal from ringside, coaching his client through the early stages of the contest - and for as long as he listened to his manager Toxic saw a lot of success, as he forced Dangermouth to roll to the outside to regroup. Toxic immediately followed his opponent out to the apron and, despite the desperate pleading of The Professor at ringside, ‘The Mad Man from Northampton’ attempted a Flying Headbutt from the apron to the floor. Dangermouth was able to easily step out of the way of the move, sending Toxic crashing and burning to the floor. From here Dangermouth was simply able to roll Toxic back into the ring to deliver his Flatliner (Reverse STO), while The Professor stood with his head in his hands at ringside. Winner: Dangermouth Rating: 30 We cut to another pre-recorded video from the Olympia Strength & Conditioning Gym. This week Iggy Riot was working on his Bench Press, and once again a crowd had formed around ‘The Human Tank’ as the Irishman worked his way up the weights towards the gym record… However, before Iggy could reach the 190kg gym record weight – a hush fell across the crowd as Olympia gym owner and Olympic Bronze Medalist Stuart Wilson walked into shot. Iggy Riot stood up from the bench, and the two powerhouses measured each other up. Wilson stood slightly taller than Iggy Riot, with the Irishman arguably more muscular. Stuart Wilson (turning to Chuck Frisby): “So this is your new poster boy Chuck? Well… he’s certainly a big boy…” Chuck Frisby: “And he’ll be taking your Deadlift record from you next week!” Stuart Wilson (grinning): “Oh aye? Well I can’t ignore a challenge like that. I’ll see you next week big man… we’ll see if those muscles of yours are just for show!” Chuckling to himself, Stuart Wilson headed back to his office – leaving a seething Chuck Frisby telling Iggy Riot that he HAD to beat Wilson’s record next week! Rating: 51 The crowd erupted as ‘The Springbok’ made his way down to the ring ahead of the Main Event. Landon Mallory high fived as many members of the crowd as he could, before grabbing a microphone from ringside. Landon Mallory: “So after checking with the NWF legal team, it would appear that Mo Adebola was correct. Edison Silva will not be defending the British Heavyweight Championship at ‘Battle of Britain’, AND in order to be next in line for a shot at the title I will have to go through 19 other men and win the Battle Royal…” The crowd booed the announcement, clearly feeling it was unfair that Mo Adebola had managed to sidestep Landon Mallory’s rematch clause with some legal trickery. Landon Mallory: “But I’m not going to let that get me down. I’d happily run through 100 men in order to get my hands on Edison Silva and reclaim MY British Heavyweight Championship! And that starts tonight with Lenny Mochin! Yebo!” Rating: 85 ‘The Springbok’ Landon Mallory VS ‘The Brewin’ Storm’ Lenny Mochin While Lenny Mochin is a new name to NWF fans, he is a credentialed singles wrestler – as a former CWW Champion and CWW King of the North. Mochin showed off his impressive technical skills to subdue Landon Mallory in the early stages of this contest, but it always felt only a matter of time until ‘The Springbok’ broke free – and this proved to be the case, as the South African connected with a huge Clothesline to instantly turn the momentum of the match. Scooping Mochin onto his shoulder, Mallory delivered an impressive Running Powerslam. The South African beat his chest as he stalked his prey, before delivering a huge Springbok Ram (Gore) – and nobody kicks out of that! Winner: 'The Springbok' Landon Mallory Rating: 73 Jackie Goldstein: “Landon Mallory said he would run through 100 men to get his hands on Edison Silva, and after that performance who would bet against him?” Melanie Florence: “It’s one thing saying it Jackie, but it’s another thing completely to outlast nineteen other NWF wrestlers! The only man I’ve seen do something remotely like that before was Byron when he won that Battle Royal from the #1 position in the EWA…” Jackie Goldstein (cutting across his announcing colleague): “It won’t be easy for anyone Melanie, but we know for sure it will be most difficult for JK Lee as tonight he was confirmed to enter at number one! He must be re-thinking his alliance with Mo Adebola already!”
  3. Key for Predictions: David Stone vs Flash Savage [1 Pts] Stone has been on a roll, and I expect that to continue here Which team is going to win the 8-Tag No. One Contenders Battle Royal? 4. Predictions for United, Episode 25, Week 4, July 2020 ‘His Satanic Majesty’ Aldous Blackfriar [vs] Luke Cool 'His Satanic Majesty' seems primed for a push, so backing him to go over here ‘Captain Crash’ Cain Carlisle [vs] BW Eddie Not fully confident with this pick, as Cain has picked up a few wins recently and Eddie has been struggling. However Eddie has more upside than Cain, and I'm expecting this to be a start of a turnaround for the 'Born Winner'. Walker Van Cleer [vs] Gulliver w/ Chuck Frisby Walker Van Cleer is fantastic, and Gulliver... isn't. I think this could be the start of a feud between Chuck and Van Cleer. Kenobi High w/ The Padawans [vs] Misery & Smithie w/ Emmett Askey While a turn is inevitably coming in this group, it's far too early for anything to happen yet ‘The Bear’ Viktor Beskov [vs] Beast Bantom A very interesting match! Could see 'The Bear' taking the win here, but Bantom is still fairly fresh of his Heel turn so I'm backing him. Apollo Prince & Clifford Wilson [vs] Edward Cornell & Mark Adonis w/ The House of Business A breakdown in communication will cost the babyfaces here, increasing the tension heading into their title match

  7. Predictions for SWF SUPREME TV EPISODE 15 Atom Smasher vs Robbie Retro I know Retro has put some solid performances in for you, but I still don't see him on the level of Atom Smasher Justin Sensitive vs ZWB ZWB begins his quest of mowing down Hollywood Uncensored to get to Brett Starr Oliver Kobb vs Scythe Squishy Squash Darryl Devine & Nicky Gilbert vs Dominic DeSousa & Sammy Smoke Devine and Gilbert continue to pick up wins to introduce them to the SWF crowd One Man Army vs Robbie Wright One Man Army got a big intro at the Battle Royal, so I'm assuming you have plans for him Main Event: Remo & The Crippler vs Valiant & Rogue Valiant & Rogue have teamed a lot together in the past, which should give them the edge here (BONUS) Will SWF top the weekly TV ratings this week? Yes
  8. We definitely have more money in the bank than CWW (they only have 27k!), but we are consistently losing ~30k a month with our current roster. My highest paid wrestler on the roster is Darin Flynn at 800 per show, for comparison Mass Hulk wants 2,000 per show. I'm trying to get myself back to at least break even before I start splurging 1k+ on talent. CWW have signed some really popular guys - Mass Hulk (62 pop all UK areas), Johnny Moore (new gen with 62 all UK areas) and Ivan Ivanoff (56 all UK areas) are all more popular than my most popular wrestler (Edison Silva who is 52 in Southern England and Scotland & 45 in the rest). Nate Manchester was also a Major Star when he was with us. The worry is that the AI is going to put CWW out of business with the new signings, with 27k in the bank they're spending: 1,800 per show on Mass Hulk 1,700 per show on Johnny Moore 1,300 per show on Ivan Ivanoff 800 per show on Nate Manchester Interestingly, CWW have just put their main title on Gavin Owen - who has 10 pop in the UK. It will be interesting to see how they incorporate the likes of Mass Hulk and Johnny Moore with 62 pop against their new champion. as an FYI - I'm planning on doing a full 'Year In Review' post for the NWF once we hit a year into the diary (7 weeks time in game), which will detail my pop/finances in more detail. I'll also do a roster overview with a summary of pop and how I think they've performed vs expectation.
  9. Thanks @newbiezness! After 'Victory' NWF's pop has jumped to 44 in Southern England. We still have a long way to go to Medium, which is at 59 pop. I was at one point considering creating a British version of the COTT, with a UK alliance Champion. However, I didn't really see any benefit for the NWF in the agreement so I didn't proceed. If I ever think of a decent story for it, I might come back to the idea but for now I'm looking upwards in the long term if I ever make it to Medium. Bedlam remains unemployed, and hasn't worked since 21CW released him in Nov 2020. However, Mass Hulk has just signed with CWW as they have splashed out on a brand new Main Event after their rise to Tiny (see post above).
  10. CWW Splash The Cash With expansion in mind, Championship Wrestling from Wigan (CWW) have adopted a bold new hiring policy. Following their recent rise to Tiny, the promotion have made a series of new high profile signings over a matter of days – the first additions to their roster in two years. The marquee signing is undoubtedly Mass Hulk, who makes his British wrestling return following his release from 21CW last month. The signing of Johnny Moore has raised eyebrows, with the former World Champion kickboxer not a natural fit for the CWW product - While the Glaswegian will undoubtedly bring new eyes to the promotion, whether the rookie can keep up with the in-ring skill of the rest of the roster this early in his career remains to be seen. The company has also confirmed the signings of former 21CW wrestlers Nate Manchester and Ivan Ivanoff, who both currently work in SNP. Owner Curtis Jenkins will be hoping this new strategy will result in rapid growth for the company, as there are worries over how the company will afford these new contracts if it doesn’t materialize.
  11. Next week on Title Bout Wrestling... CGC World TItle: Ed Monton vs Steve DeColt I don't think Steve is losing the title in a hastily thrown together title match Land Mass & Mammoth vs Eddie Chandler & Johnny Maverick Bigger is better... right? Dirty Frank vs Xander Robinson Frank seems to be joining the School of Tradition, so I'm expecting a win for Frank in his first match under Tyler's learning tree
  12. WrestleWorld GB & NWF Present: National Wrestling Episode 41 Wednesday W2 August 2021 Show Rating: 65 Your Announce Team: Jackie Goldstein & Melanie Florence Jackie Goldstein: “Hello and welcome to National Wrestling. My name is Jackie Goldstein, and joining me at ringside is Melanie Florence!” Melanie Florence: “Thanks Jackie! We are only four days removed from a huge night of wrestling at Victory, where we saw Edison Silva reclaim the British Heavyweight Championship in an incredible Main Event!” Jackie Goldstein: “Mo Adebola and Edison Silva will have a lot to answer for after Sunday!” Melanie Florence: “And we kick off tonights show with the man of the moment – Mo Adebola’s new ‘insurance policy’ JK Lee!” Astro VS ‘The Bulldog’ JK Lee w/ Mo Adebola Mo Adebola accompanied his new ‘insurance policy’ to the ring for this one, as did the new British Heavyweight champion Edison Silva. The trio were showered with boos throughout, but this did little to distract JK Lee from the job at hand. ‘The Bulldog’ stretched, grappled and controlled his Mexican opponent, before forcing Astro to submit to his Crossface submission hold. Winner: JK Lee Rating: 50 Boos rang around the building, as Mo Adebola demanded a microphone following JK Lee’s victory. First Adebola made a point of introducing the NEW British Heavyweight Champion and the man who won the Cruiserweight World Cup for his home nation of Brazil… Edison Silva! The boos raised to a new level, as Silva raised his newly won title high into the air. The boos had barely died down before Mo Adebola moved onto his second introduction, ‘the man of the moment’ and his new ‘insurance policy’ JK Lee! The boos were instantly replaced by cheers as the music of ‘The Springbok’ Landon Mallory blared over the speakers. The South African sprinted down to the ring, showing no fear of being outnumbered. Landon Mallory: “I’ve got to hand it to you Mo, you really got me on Sunday… but by the sound of it, all you’ve done is make these people want to see me to kick your arse even more! The crowd roared their approval at the idea. Landon Mallory: “So I can promise you that when I get my rematch at ‘Battle For Britain’…” Mo Adebola: “I’m going to stop you right there Landon, because I have an exciting announcement to make. You will not be facing my client at ‘Battle for Britain’… in fact NOBODY will be facing my client at Battle for Britain. No, my client will be having a well-earned night off – and instead the Main Event will see a 20-Man Battle Royal to crown a new Number One Contender for my clients title! Which means… if you want to get your hands on my client, you’ll have to go through 19 other men to do so!” Landon Mallory: “I’m sure you’ve used all sort of legal loopholes to tie this up… so I’m not going to waste time arguing about ‘Battle for Britain’, but you are wrong about one thing.” Mo Adebola (laughing): “And what’s that?” Landon Mallory: “I can get my hands on your client any time I want!” With that The Springbok exploded into a Springbok Ram (Gore) that cut the new British Heavyweight Champion in half. JK Lee tried to jump on Landon Mallory, but the South African had rolled out of the ring and made his escape through the crowd – yelling back at the ring that he was coming for HIS title! Rating: 76 Stardust Phil Cox VS Brilliant White What could have been an entertaining, high flying contest between two of the flashiest workers in the NWF, was unfortunately ruined by poor chemistry between the two. The match peaked with Brilliant White’s impressive entrance, appearing in a flash of (brilliant) white light in his Phantom of the Opera inspired mask. The lack of chemistry that followed meant that the match never really got going, until Brilliant White hit his White Out (Swanton Bomb) to pick up the victory. Winner: Brilliant White Rating: 44 We cut to the office of Moore’s Sports Agency, where Mark Moore was sat with Darin Flynn, Martin Heath & Jon Michael Sharp. Mark Moore: “I have some great news lads. After Victory on Sunday I got a call from one of the big wigs at the network. Said they loved Naozane Goto’s debut – loved it! And they wanted to give Akihiro and Naozane a shot at the tag titles…” Despite Mark Moore’s clear enthusiasm, there wasn’t much reaction from the rest of the room. Mark Moore: “Now I know what you’re thinking, but don’t worry I’ve got good news for all of you… ‘cause I said to the guy, I said ‘Naozane is great, and we’d love to accept the tag title shot – but I’ve got three other lads who are just as fantastic’. And I spoke to this network big wig for half and hour, and I found out about this battle royal at ‘Battle for Britain’ and Darin I got you a spot in that match… and for you two…” Mark Moore turned to Martin Heath and Jon Michael Sharp. Mark Moore: “You could have got a spot in the Battle Royal, but I said to the bloke I said – ‘these two lads are The Foundation of your tag division, and you need them front and centre’. Now obviously the bloke wanted Naozane and Akihiro in the tag title match, but he agreed to a number one contenders match at ‘Battle for Britain’ between The Foundation and Future X! You win that match and you get yourself a title shot! And the best part is this bloke is Finkleton’s boss, so there’s nothing he can do about it!” Rating: 50 We cut from the office of Moore’s Sports Agency to the office of network executive Frank Finkleton. Finkleton was in the middle of giving ‘Big Mac’ Nathan McKenzie a grilling. Frank Finkleton: “I gave you the night off on Sunday to go and get your head straight! Losing to Evan Alpass because you were showing off to some valet… you need to get your head back in the game! And I’ve got the perfect match to get you back into it. Mark Moore thinks he can go over my head to get his boys a number one contenders match at ‘Battle for Britain’, so I need you to teach him not to cross The Network!” The big Australian simply nodded, before stomping out of the office. Rating: 57 Future X (Petey Barnes & Eric Future) VS School Of Wrestling (Toxic & Ron Gibson) w/ The Professor This match saw the debut of the young team known as School Of Wrestling. The Professor, a 2020 graduate of the National School of Wresting, managed two of his fellow alumni – 2019 graduate Toxic and 2021 graduate Ron Gibson. While both men had failed to land a contract with 21CW, The Professor believed that with his guidance the pair could find success in the NWF. Unfortunately for The Professor, whatever game plan he had given his new clients went out of the window at the opening bell – as his young charges charged their vastly more experienced opponents. The lack of communication between Toxic and Gibson had The Professor’s head in his hands, as Future X picked apart their inexperienced opponents and hit the Future Shock DDT (Aided Double Arm DDT) to pick up a routine victory. Winners: Future X Rating: 48 We cut backstage to the interview zone for the first time this evening to find the Cruiserweight champion Leighton Buzzard with Rachel Dearheart. Rachel Dearheart: “Leighton, on Sunday at Victory, Damian Dastardy’s dastardly plan blew up in his face… literally, as you successfully defended your Cruiserweight title. But it sounds like that came at a cost?” Leighton Buzzard: “I don’t know anything about a dastardly plan, but unfortunately with my back the doctor has told me I need to take a bit of time to heal up. But don’t worry, the Weekly Bangers will be back in two weeks!” Rachel Dearheart (looking surprised): “And you’re not worried about getting banged up again ahead of ‘Battle Of Britain’?” Leighton Buzzard: “Worried? I can’t wait to get going again! So in two weeks, I’m issuing an open challenge to anyone Crusierweight on the roster who wants to have a banger!” Rating: 40 Local Talent VS ‘The Brewin’ Storm’ Lenny Mochin Lenny Mochin returned for his first NWF match since losing to Darin Flynn back in February. Michin faced a much less daunting opponent this time around, and was able to showcase his technical prowess as he wrestled rings around the local talent before hitting his Eye Of The Storm (Butterfly Powerbomb) to secure a straightforward victory. Winner: Lenny Mochin Rating: 33 We cut to a pre-recorded video, showing Iggy Riot training at Olympia. A crowd had formed around the lifting station, as Chuck Frisby barked encouragement at his new client who proceeded to deadlift 290kg smoothly off the ground! Iggy Riot flexed his impressive muscles and impressed murmurs swept around the crowd, as Chuck made a big show of telling Iggy to ‘save it for the lifting meet’. Rating: 49 We cut away backstage to find Leo Price and his protégé Dangermouth deep in conversation. ‘The Lion’ congratulated Dangermouth on his victory over Byron on Sunday, before asking the grime star what was next for him? Dangermouth confirmed that he had secured an entry into the ‘Battle for Britain’ Battle Royal, and that he would be in action next week to prepare! Rating: 65 Martin Heath w/ Mark Moore VS ‘Big Mac’ Nathan McKenzie Martin Heath has predominantly been a tag guy in the NWF, but he reminded the fans here that he is also a fantastic solo wrestler – as he sold his backside off for his Heavyweight opponent. The match was fairly even, with Heath getting lengthy periods of offence in – but every time Big Mac went back onto the attack everything he landed looked devastating. The match went just over the ten minute mark, before Big Mac took Heath’s head off with a Big Boot to set up the finish. Scooping Heath onto his shoulder, the big Australian delivered the Snake Eyes to the corner – before bouncing off the far ropes to deliver a Spear that looked like it split Heath in two! Winner: ‘Big Mac’ Nathan McKenzie Rating: 63 Melanie Florence: “A dominant performance from Big Mac! Frank Finkleton wanted his enforcers head back in the game, and judging by that performance the network executive has his wish!” Jackie Goldstein: “He certainly looked impressive Melanie! Perhaps Mark Moore will think twice before going over the network executives head in the future…”
  13. Predictions for Kingdom, Episode 25, Week 4, July 2020 Cousin Konrad w/ The Lee FamiLee [vs] ‘The Quiet One’ Sifu w/ Ricky Storm With Konrad being so new to the UK, I'm not sure he has the pop to go over Ricky Storm ‘The Irish Stretching Machine’ Merle O’Curle [vs] Lone Wolf It's a bit early in Lone Wolf's career to go over a veteran like Merle ‘The Real Angel of the North’ Nate Manchester [vs] War Machine w/ Cliff King Squishy squash Andrew Lee w/ The Lee FamiLee [vs] ‘Sensational’ Ricky Storm w/ Sifu Andrew Lee is the star of the Lee FamiLee, and evens up from earlier in the night The Underdogs [vs] The Booth w/ DJ Reason & Buck Winchester The Underdogs have had a tough run of it recently, and I expect that to continue here ‘Rough Justice’ Tommy Cornell [vs] ‘The King of the Cruiserweights’ Phil Harmonic w/ Silva & Badberry Phil Harmonic may be King of the Cruiserweights, but Tommy ain't no Cruiserweight!
  14. Key for Predictions: Prime Time Jack Pryde vs Tavon Blake Jr [1 Pts] It's Prime Time baby! The Empire vs The Wild Cats [1 Pts] They got a vignette introduction, so backing them to be more than just a jobber team David Stone vs Maverick Chip Martin [1 Pts] I like Maverick, but David Stone can be a star! The Heartbreak Express (Needham, Liotta) vs The Hot Taggs (Kalder, Wolfie) [1 Pts] The Hot Taggs have taken over as the new young jobber team Quentin Queen vs Jason Patterson [1 Pts] Patterson is a tag guy Davis Wayne Newton (c) vs Southern Stinger in a No DQ match for the LSW Brass Knuckles title [1 Pts] I'm expecting Dreadnought to get involved somehow Al Coleman, Cali Slick, Cobra vs Jared Johnson, Rob Reynolds, Texas Hangman [1 Pts] There's more star power on the babyface team. Maybe a DQ win after a chain shot from Cobra? Will LSW Summer Stampede get a 60+ Rating? [1 Pts] Yes
  15. Thankyou to everyone who commented, predicted and reacted to Victory! As always, I really do appreciate it! Following Victory, I have updated the roster and champions posts on page one if anyone is interested. I also posted a bit of a British wrestling scene overview above, if anyone has any questions on the back of that post let me know! Victory marked the 50th show of this diary, and the end of the latest prediction contest! Congratulations top @StanMiguel for a perfect score, and being the only predictor to correctly call the title change! As previously mentioned, the top 3 predictors in this round would all get prizes, and the tie for 3rd means that four of you will receive prizes this month! @KyTeran, @Wrestling Machine, @SomeLazyMagic and @StanMiguel keep an eye on your inbox over the next few days for your prize! 16. I agree that Alpass getting injured wasn't a complete disaster, it was just annoying that I couldn't give Big Mac the win back at Victory. The idea was Big Mac would have destroyed Alpass in retaliation for the loss on National Wrestling, giving Big Mac his edge back and forcing Alapss to rebuild with Marbella at his side. I'm still not sure whether to renew the feud with Big Mac when Alpass returns in a few months, or jump into a feud with Riddick Jordan (the man who injured him). On Goto's debut - the original plan was for this match to be part of the next episode of National Wrestling. I like The Party Animals, but this very much felt like a TV match on PLE. I tried to justify it as making Goto's debut a spectacle, but I'm still split on whether that would wash. Thanks @KyTeran! I'm glad you're still enjoying following along! I have some big plans over the next few months, so I'm excited to see what people think of them Status quo doesn't necessarily mean bad! I think given that I was always planning on Silva taking the title back in the Main Event, having another left field winner would have been a bit too much. You submitted two sets of predictions for Victory - with different winners both times! Since your first set of predictions was before the event was posted, and the second was after, I'll just use your first set of predictions
  17. 21st Century Wrestling 1st in Britain (4th in the World) Size – Big Pop – 80/80/77/80/78/78 We have seen a period of relative stability for 21CW. The company remain by far the largest company in Britain, with their popularity in most regions staying mostly flat – with the exception of Scotland, where 21CW have taken a small hit due to the rise in popularity of SNP. The loss of Tommy Cornell to USPW in August 2020 has undoubtedly hurt the Main Event scene, with the company looking to the future to replace him – handing Wade Orson his first World Title, and elevating Leigh Burton to the Main Event in a regular team with Adam Matravers to take on the House Of Business. While the top of the card has been weakened by the loss of Tommy Cornell, the midcard has helped bolster 21CW’s cards with the Tag Team Title (61->73) and United Kingdom Title (59->69) both gaining massively in prestige. However having the House of Business (BW Eddie & Doomsday) win the 2021 Cornell Cup proved to be a major mistake and hurt the prestige of the tournament (86->74). In addition to elevating younger talent to the Main Event, 21CW have also chosen to rely on their National School of Wrestling graduates to fill out their roster. No external signings have been made in either 2020 or 2021 as 21CW hope that the youngsters can catch on with the fans. Of the new graduates, 21CW seem to have the most faith in Bruce Erickson – having paired him up with Edward Cornell for two fantastic TV matches and handed him a TV win in a six man tag team match alongside The Demolishers. 18. USPW Red, White And Blue Saturday Week 4 February 2020 Preview USPW World Title Match Rich Money (w/Dusty Ducont and Elizabeth Cartier) defends vs. Running Wolf Comments: I've enjoyed Wolf's build into the PPV, but the fact the World Title match is on first suggests you don't back him as a top guy yet USPW National Title Match 'Jacksonville' Jack Jackson defends vs. 'The Marksman' Kirk Jameson (w/Maryam Vega) vs. Enygma vs. Roger 'Smooth' Cage Comments: Tough one, could go a lot of ways but I'll back the Champ to find a way to walk away with the title ??? and The Cold Warriors vs. 'RDJ' Ricky Dale Johnson and The Texas Express Comments/Mystery Man Guesses: You managed to get Jack Bruce and Skull DeBones out of retirement, so I'll take the bait and say Marat Khoklov is the mystery man to back up his Soviet comrades 'The Talent' Trent Shaffer (w/Raven Robinson) vs. Skull DeBones Comments: I'm not sure how you will book Skull DeBones, but the segment with Tyson Baine suggests an unholy alliance 'The Complete Package' Joss Thompson vs. 'Cool Hand' Casey Valentine Comments: The Dawn Gemmell interaction suggests big things in Valentine's future The Olympus Order vs. 'The Dude' James Justice and Jett & Moor Comments: You had Zeus go 15 minutes with a jobber on TV, so I'm thinking you've brought him in to build up young stars rather than as a big deal USPW Women's Title Match Jaime Quine defends vs. Pariah Comments: I've always liked Pariah's gimmick, so I'll go against the grain here 'The Dark Destroyer' Steve Frehley vs. Jack Bruce Comments: I don't think you'd bring Bruce back just to lose on his first big match Comments On Diary/Other Comments: You'e brought back a lot of big names who are getting on in years (Bruce, Skull DeBones, RDJ and if I'm right Khoklov), I'm interested to see how they'll all fit in at the top of the card going forwards
  19. WrestleWorld GB & NWF Present: Victory Sunday W1 August 2021 Attendance: 1,283 Rating: 73 Your Announce Team: Jackie Goldstein & Melanie Florence Jackie Goldstein: “Hello and welcome to ‘Victory’! My name is Jackie Goldstein, and joining me at ringside is Melanie Florence!” Melanie Florence: “Thanks Jackie! The road to victory is filled with trials and tribulations. Which of our wrestlers tonight will fall at the final hurdle, and which will savour the sweet taste of Victory?” Grace of Fire (Welsh Dragon & Bali Daljit) VS The Northern Lights (Alton Vicious & Riddick Jordan) NWF British Tag Team Titles These two teams were tasked with providing a hot opener, which they provided with both teams going All Out and Working The Crowd. Grace of Fire showed their usual chemistry between the ropes, utilising frequent tags to keep their opponents off balance. With the champions becoming increasingly frustrated, the match eventually broke down with the action spilling to the outside as Riddick Jordan and Welsh Dragon brawled outside the ring. Back in the ring, Bali Daljit had turned the tide on Alton Vicious – with the ‘The Bad Man’ rolling to the outside for a reprieve. However before Vicious could catch his breath, Bali Daljit had clambered to the top rope and delivered a Flying Cross Body to the floor below! While his partner was struggling on the far side of the ring, Riddick Jordan silenced the NWF crowd by delivering an Overhead Suplex to Welsh Dragon on the outside – the same move that had broken Evan Alpass’ arm this past Wednesday night! Unaware what was happening to his partner, Bali Daljit had rolled Vicious back into the ring and was back to the top rope to deliver his Shooting Star Press. Daljit flew gracefully through the air and connected! Referee Roy Worrall made the count, 1… 2… NO! Riddick Jordan had come flying from out of shot to deliver a Diving Headbutt from the top rope onto both Bali Daljit and his partner! The move seemed to have taken almost as much out of Riddick Jordan as it had Bali Daljit, but eventually Jordan was able to crawl into the cover and retain the titles for his team. Winners: The Northern Lights (Alton Vicious & Riddick Jordan) – Title Defence #3 Rating: 57 We cut to a pre-recorded video showing the third Frisby’s Foundation for Fitness community day that had taken place in the venues car park earlier in the evening. Chuck Frisby looked delighted as the car park was full of big meaty men, all looking to sign up for the chance to win a years free gym membership! Frisby delightedly announced that everyone was now signed up, and it was time to hold the Deadlift contest! Despite the required standard being 300kg, a lot of the hopefuls started falling away as early as the 200kg mark! Chuck Frisby was beginning to look a little dejected, until a new competitor, who could only be described as an absolute unit, entered the competition at 270kg – having opted out of the previous rounds. The new competitor lifted the bar off the ground with ease, and Frisby couldn’t contain himself as he immediately ran over to introduce himself. Frisby did most of the talking, but the competitor did introduce himself with a thick Dublin accent as Iggy Riot. The contest continued in the background, but Chuck Frisby could already be heard telling Riot all about Olympia and what he wanted him to do there… Rating: 44 Dangermouth vs Byron After months of Byron sidestepping him, Dangermouth finally got his chance to get his hands on the veteran. The grime star looked to turn this one into a Wild Brawl, but Byron used all of the tricks he had learned over the course of his 27 year career to keep his young opponent at bay. Whenever Dangermouth looked like building up a head of steam, Byron would slow the pace of the match right down – whether by taking the action to the mat, forcing a rope break, or even sliding out of the ring completely for a breather. This riled Dangermouth up, and forced the youngster into an early mistake to hand control of the match to the veteran. Melanie Florence crowed on commentary, reminding the audience that Byron was a former 10x World Champion for the fourth time tonight. Byron looked to have things wrapped up but, in an uncharacteristic error, the former 10x World Champion (make that five times) played with his food for too long and caught a heavy right hand for his troubles. The pace of the match immediately increased, as Dangermouth delivered Flying Shoulder Tackle after Flying Shoulder Tackle – before dropping Byron with a Running Bulldog. Melanie Florence couldn’t believe what she was seeing, as Dangermouth pulled Byron in for his Flatliner (Reverse STO)! Referee Roy Worrall made the count… with Byron getting his shoulder up just as Roy Worrall’s hand hit the mat for the third time! There was a moment of confusion, before Dangermouth was officially confirmed as the winner! Winner: Dangermouth Rating: 41 Melanie Florence loudly berated the decision on commentary, as Dangermouth celebrated in the ring and Byron got in the face of the referee – protesting that he had clearly kicked out just before the three count! Roy Worrall stood his ground, and reiterated that Byron’s shoulder had only left the mat just AFTER the three. Byron got right in the face of the referee, telling him he was making a huge mistake – grabbing hold of the referee’s shirt and asking Roy Worrall if he knew who he was dealing with? This proved to be a huge mistake, as security flooded the ring and surrounded Byron, before – in a scene reminiscent of the country club last month, Byron was escorted out of the building by security. A jubilant Dangermouth led the crowd in a chorus of “nah nah nah hey hey hey goodbye!”, while Melanie Florence was beside herself on commentary. Rating: 55 We cut to the interview zone for the first time this evening, where Damian Dastardly was stood by with Rachel Dearheart. Rachel Dearheart: “Damian Dastardly, you’ve certainly made an impression over the past couple of months. However your attitude has rubbed a few people up the wrong way…” Damian Dastardly: “I’m going to stop you there Rachel. I didn’t come all the way from New Zealand to ‘play nice’ and make friends, I came to win titles.” Rachel Dearheart: “You certainly haven’t made friends with The British Bangers over the past month – softening Leighton Buzzard up ahead of your match tonight…” Damian Dastardly: “Hey, I didn’t make Leighton do anything he didn’t already want to do… he wanted his Weekly Bangers, I just helped him make it happen.” Rachel Dearheart: “Some people would call that devious…” Damian Dastardly: “And some would call it Dastardly!” Rating: 48 Akihiro Hisato & Naozane Goto VS The Party Animals (Rave & Trance) This match was designed to introduce Naozane Goto to the British audience. Next to three Lightweights, the former Sumo wrestler looked even more enormous than he usually would. Akihiro Hisato started the match for his team, but the crowds interest didn’t pick up until Goto hit the ring. Despite his huge size the 380 pounder showed surprising agilty as he squashed both Rave and Trance in opposite corners with consecutive High Velocity Reverse Avalanches, before delivering a huge Belly to Belly Suplex to Trance that sent him rolling out of the ring. Goto lifted Rave into his Goto Slam (Big Front Slam), which shook the ring and earned the Japanese pair the victory. Winners: Akihiro Hisato & Naozane Goto Rating: 41 The camera cut back to the interview zone, where we found Edison Silva and his legal advisor Mo Adebola. Rachel Dearheart: “I am here with the man challenging for the British Heavyweight Championship in tonights Main Event – Edison Silva. Now Edison, on Wednesday night Landon Mallory accused you of having no respect for anyone or anything in this business. How do you respond?” Rachel put the mic in the face of Edison Silva, but Mo Adebola quickly stepped in to answer the question on behalf of his client. Mo Adebola: “That’s a very loaded question Rachel… so let me ask you a question. Could my client have become British Heavyweight Champion if he didn’t respect this busiess? Could my client STILL never have been pinned or submitted by anyone in the back if he didn’t respect the skills of his competitors and take them seriously? If there’s one thing I can promise you it’s that we have taken the preparation for tonights match incredibly seriously. If Plan A doesn’t work, we have insurance policies for contingencies for back up plans. No other wrestler in this locker room takes preparation for their matches as seriously as Edison Silva… and if that’s not showing respect for this business, I don’t know what is!” Rating: 76 (C) Leighton Buzzard VS ‘The Diabolical’ Damian Dastardly NWF Cruiserweight Championship Following his recent Weekly Bangers Open Challenge, Leighton Buzzard came into this match banged up. The champion sported a bad back heading into the contest, something which Damian Dastardly took full advantage of throughout. The challenger delivered knees, boots and elbows to the lower back of the champion, dropping Buzzard to one knee. Dastardly thought he had the title won following a Backstabber, but Buzzard was able to get his shoulder up a split second before Roy Worrall’s hand hit the mat for the three. Despite his injured back, Buzzard was able to show flashes of offence – but these were quickly shut down by a well-placed shot to the lower back by Dastardly. During one of these flashes, Buzzard looked for a Tornado DDT – but was easily thrown off by Dastardly… straight into referee Roy Worrall! With the referee down, the cogs immediately began turning in the diabolical mind of the challenger – and Dastardly immediately headed to ringside and grabbed a chair. Leighton Buzzard struggled back to his feet, still holding his lower back, as Dastardly circled his prey. The Kiwi swang hard with the chair, but the champion was able to duck underneath and follow up with a picture perfect Dropkick onto the chair! Bang! Dastardly was hit full force in the face by his own chair! Buzzard struggled over to the corner and climbed to the middle rope to hit his Buzz Off (Diving Tornado DDT) onto his dazed opponent. Buzzard struggled into the cover, as Roy Worrall came round just in time to make the three count! Winner: Leighton Buzzard – Title Defence #5 Rating: 60 (C) ‘The Springbok’ Landon Mallory VS Edison Silva w/ Mo Adebola NWF British Heavyweight Championship The crowd were fully invested in this one - a blockbuster Main Event to mark the 50th show in NWF history. ‘The Springbok’ Landon Mallory had arrived in the NWF back in October as an unknown from Europe, but his charisma, in-ring ability and never-say-die attitude had seen the South African embraced by the NWF crowd and catapult up the card – culminating in winning the title in August at ‘Three Lions’. By contrast, his opponent could well be the most hated man in the NWF… in fact the only man who could challenge Edison Silva for that title would be his legal advisor Mo Adebola. Silva did nothing to repair relations with the crowd tonight, as the Cruiserweight World Cup winner once again made his way to the ring with a Brazilian flag wrapped around his shoulders. Landon Mallory had talked on National Wresting about how he respected Edison Silva as an in-ring competitor, and that could explain the cagey start to the contest – as neither man seemed willing to risk handing any sort of advantage to their opponent. Eventually a hard elbow strike from the challenger, quickly followed up with a double leg takedown, handed the advantage to Silva. Adebola was incredibly vocal at ringside as his client worked through his combinations, culminating in a wicked looking Spinning Elbow to the temple of Mallory, dropping the champion. Silva made the cover – 1… 2… NO! The champion got his shoulder up at the very last moment! Silva couldn’t believe it, and neither could Mo Adebola at ringside – who immediately slid into the ring to argue with referee Roy Worrall. In a scene reminiscent to Byron earlier in the night, both Silva and Adebola were in Worrall’s face arguing that the count was clearly a three! Roy Worrall held his ground, and the argument went on long enough that Landon Mallory had recovered behind Edison Silva and the crowd roared as The Springbok launched into a Springbok Ram (Gore)! The champion made the cover, as a panicked Mo Adebola stood over referee Roy Worrall making the count. 1… 2… but in a desperation move, Mo Adebola delivered a boot to the back of Roy Worrall’s head just before the referee’s hand hit the mat for the three! The lawyer looked like he could barely believe what he had done, but the shock turned to fear as Landon Mallory stood up and pieced together what had happened. Mo Adebola backed away from the South African, pleading his innocence, and there was a second (perhaps even bigger) roar as Mallory launched into another Springbok Ram – this time on Mo Adebola! Mallory leaped back to his feet and began trying to bring Roy Worrall back around to make the count on Edison Silva. Unfortunately for The Springbok, Roy Worrall was out for the count. The South African’s attention was so focused on the referee, that he didn’t notice JK Lee slide into the ring behind him with the British Heavyweight title belt in hand. The noise of the crowd caused Mallory to turn around, right into a shot across the face with his own title belt! After a moments pause, JK Lee hauled the lifeless body of Edison Silva on top of Landon Mallory before bailing from the ring. Roy Worrall chose this moment to awaken from his slumber, and seeing Silva on top of Mallory made the count… 1… 2… 3! New champion! Winner & New Champion: Edison Silva Rating: 77 The new champions music blared over the speakers, as JK Lee rolled back into the ring and helped Mo Adebola and Edison Silva slowly back to their feet. It took a few moments for the lawyer to work out what had happened, but eventually it all clicked and Adebola excitedly hugged JK Lee before grabbing the Brazilian flag and a microphone from ringside. Draping the Brazilian flag around the shoulders of the new British Heavyweight champion, Adebola introduced the NWF crowd to his ‘insurance policy’ – JK Lee! Thunderous boos rained down on the trio, as the broadcast came to a close. Rating: 61 Jackie Goldstein: “Just when you think Edison Silva and Mo Adebola can’t stoop any lower, they go and pull a stunt like this!” Melanie Florence: “Like him or not Jackie, you can’t argue that Mo Adebola doesn’t get results…” Jackie Goldstein: “Edison Silva may have got the title back tonight, but in doing so he’s proved that everything Landon Mallory has ever said about him was completely true!” Melanie Florence(sarcastically): “He looks inconsolable…” Jackie Goldstein: “This isn’t over Melanie. I don’t care how good a lawyer Mo Adebola is, Mallory will have a rematch clause, and his client will have to face an angry Springbok. I wouldn’t want to be Edison Silva then!” Melanie Florence: “That’s a problem for another night. Tonight they can savour the sweet, sweet taste of ‘Victory’!

  22. Next Sunday, on Title Bout Wrestling... CGC Bubbleweight Title: Canadian Dragon vs Condor vs Jake Sloan vs Mario Heroic vs Tempest Appleby Jake Sloan was the leader of the group heading into WrestleFestival, but that seems a bit too obvious - so I'm going for a Heel turn to win the new title! Rocky Psycho vs Howling Dog Rocky seems to be getting a big push Soldiers of Fortune & Dan DaLay vs Steve, Alex & Jack DeColt Like everyone else I was surprised to hear about Tyler, but without him here the DeColts take this - even if Jack and Steve don't necessarily see eye to eye Great show, I really enjoyed WrestleFestival - I think it captured the essence of CGC perfectly! One question - I know you've added the Bubbleweight Title to help increase your options on Title Bout Wrestling, but have you considered having Biff defend his "Poor Widdle Baby" Championship going forwards?
  23. Perfect, I'll do a bit of a British wrestling scene roundup after Victory is posted Landon Mallory's pop is ~40 in Southern England, and between 35-39 in the other regions in Britain - which makes him a Star in th fans eyes. For comparison, my most popular wrestler is Edison Silva who has 52 pop in Southern England, and between 45-52 in the other regions in Britain. Nobody expected The Network to lose here. As I touched on above, Alpass came in with some decent pop from 21CW so I didn't want Big Mac to walk all over him - even if I did want Big Mac to win the feud. The excuse here would have been the slap from Marbella catching him off guard and allowing Alpass to hit his finisher. Obviously plans had to change due to Alpass' injury, which actually affected the next month of booking quite heavilt - starting with the card for Victory! Thank you to everyone who commented, predicted and reacted to the latest episode of National Wrestling, I really do appreciate it! Victory marks the 50th show of the diary, so the top 3 of this round of predictions will all receive a prize - so it's still all to play for heading into the final event of the contest! With nobody picking the Main Event, there were no perfect scores this round - but I hope to see everyone back for Victory! With Alpass out of action, the NWF have announced a late change to the card – with the in-ring debut of Naozane Goto now advertised. NWF British Tag Team Titles: Grace of Fire (Welsh Dragon & Bali Daljit) vs The Northern Lights (Alton Vicious & Riddick Jordan) (C) Dangermouth vs Byron Akihiro Hisato & Naozane Goto vs The Party Animals (Rave & Trance) NWF Cruiserweight Championship: (C) Leighton Buzzard vs 'The Diabolical' Damian Dastardly NWF British Heavyweight Championship: (C) 'The Springbok' Landon Mallory vs Edison Silva w/ Mo Adebola Bonus 1: How many titles will change hands at the event? (maximum of 3) Bonus 2: What will the overall rating of the show be? (two points for spot on, 1 point for 2 either side) Any other comments/questions on the diary:
  24. The original plan was for Alpass to win via Marbella distraction in the multiman match, then Big Mac get a 'get your head in the game' pep talk from Frank Finkleton and destroy Alpass at 'Victory'. Big Mac would definitely win the feud, but Alpass was a similar pop level so I didn't just want it to be a walkover. The PG stuff from 21CW/SWF won't change anything I have planned, the articles are more just for 'world building'. On a semi-related topic - I'm thinking of doing a little overview of what the big companies have done since the diary started after 'Victory'. Signings, releases, title changes etc. Is that something people would be interested in seeing, or should I not bother? 😅
  25. Evan Alpass injury confirmed as Broken Arm / Changes to ‘Victory’ Plans NWF last night confirmed that the injury suffered by Evan Alpass as the latest taping of ‘National Wrestling’ was a broken arm. The injury is expected to keep Alpass out of action for between 2-3 months. Alpass is said to blame Riddick Jordan for the injury after a botched Suplex, and the pair are said to have ‘simmering tension’ backstage. The injury has thrown plans for this Sunday’s ‘Victory’ event into turmoil, with the planned Alpass/Big Mac match no longer able to go ahead creative are said to be scrambling around to rewrite the card at short notice. It has been confirmed that the injury was also the reason for the rushed ending to last nights National Wrestling main event, with the planned finish being for Alpass to pin ‘Big Mac’ Nathan McKenzie heading into their match at the PLE. Wrestling moves into PG Era This week saw the new PG guidance rating for both 21CW ‘Best Of British Wrestling’ and SWF ‘Supreme TV’ come into effect. Both companies have been transitioning their product over the past few weeks ahead of the planned change, and hope to toe-the-line between bringing new eyes to their product, and not driving away their existing fan base.
