Really appreciate the nom @dstephe4 although I don't think I should be eligible for May. Have taken quite a break so I've not posted a show yet this month so I'd feel like an imposter on the list. Also I've actually won 3 months in a row?! Personally I think there should perhaps be a limit when it comes to DOTM, I think there maybe used to be years ago. Although I will be cheeky and self nominate for Event of the month. Technically it was posted an hour before May began... but for SOME people elsewhere it would have been posted in May and that's good enough for me... FCW: Choked Out Although not necessarily the end of their rivalry the Gonzales feud has been one of my favourites ever to write and this was a big show for that. Good to see plenty of choices I would have made already up, I want to have a proper think next few days but for now I want to nominate; C-Verse Diary @The Lloyd's 21CW: The Land of Second Chances Clearly deserved, there's a lot of good stuff here over last few months but the boards in general always feel healthier when there's a Lloyd diary active so it's been great to see him back and on form! @Rhysrob's QAW Amazons Was one of my favourites a while back and since the return has really upped the quality even higher. I often think it's the best compliment for a diary that now when I see QAW in game I fully picture this version, and the same goes for plenty of the characters. Event of the month @AboardTheArk's CGC: Chamber of Horrors The Chamber match itself was a great read but the other matches all served their purpose well. One of those events I could really imagine enjoying watching with a bit of everything.

Enjoyed the first show. CGC were one of my favourites back on my first TEW game (2013), so this roster won't be so different to that. I don't think the heels outnumbering the faces will be much of a weakness as I think with the DeColts ever present you'll need plenty of heels to rotate around. If anything I think the biggest challenge will be positioning anybody as real threats to them. Although I enjoyed the Elite there so hopefully they step up to the challenge. P.s I like the renders used too. I don't know if they are the default 09 ones or you've sourced them elsewhere but it's nice that they are the same style without everyone looking the same.

I can't speak for Lloyd, but he can't stop me from trying! It caught my eye too, my thinking is... Adam/Faust/Edward I think was always going to steal the show in game, and had 3 big stars in, probably top 3 on United. Kingdom on the other hand I think needed the stamp of a main event. The brands are being presented as equal and so in theory either one should have been able to main event but I think swapping the two matches around might have made Kingdom look weaker. Whereas the United match was strong enough to go on last but be an obvious big deal. In terms of it being further down the card I suppose you wouldn't want it on 2nd to last in case it overshadowed it in game. That and Wade/Buff was guaranteed to crown a new champion and so you could definitely argue Buff winning the big one after all these years is a more main event worthy moment that Edward retaining.

Another great PPV. Obvious highlight being the chamber. Loved the Ian's attempt at a stone family move backfired. Will be interesting to see who Dubois is put up against going forward. And of course I will look forward to a CGC Christmas!

So much going on. A lot of surprises in the results but none I personally dislike. Already plenty set up for next few shows too, as always your stuff is always so packed with different storylines/characters.

I wonder predict as to be honest despite how good it looks I've never given T-verse a go, so I have zero idea who these are. Roster run down was great though so after a show or two with referring back to that hopefully I'll get up to speed!

That's fair to say! I certainly have. It's unfortunate really that Kong and Brody leaving happened on the same show as it might give the impression there's a bit of an exodus. Truth be told neither one of these were true cost cutting measures and both have been planned for a while (pre my realisation of how screwed financially I am). Kong is dirt cheap, but he's also one of the worst wrestlers in the world. Brody was partly for storyline reasons, partly because a few times I wanted to book him but he was busy in Japan and that wound me up and partly because I suspect he might sign elsewhere soon anyway. Again his salary is actually super cheap although I was paying him to fly in from Japan each show (not sure where to see how much that actually cost me). All this is just to say, actual cost cutting is still to come!

I wholeheartedly second 619's comments. Whilst my input might sound more negative I would also add though that sometimes it's a case of lowering expectations when it comes to engagement, or at least when it comes to the quantity. A few factors combine to sometimes make it feel like nobody is reading even when it's not the case. I think only a fairly small percent of people who read a show will then go onto comment for example. We are also what 3 years into a game cycle so in general the boards won't be as populated as they can be. Personally with my own stuff I also think of it this way... there is endless content out there in the world and I'm just some guy writing amateur content for what is basically a niche of a niche, the idea that anyone actually spends their time getting into what I've posted is pretty amazing to me so if ever feel a desire for more more readers I remind myself it's a miracle I have any! Don't get me wrong I can completely understand the desire for more interest I'd just focus on the positive that even if you're not flooded with predictions you have gotten plenty of really positive feedback, and deservedly so so good luck if it continues!

Well yeah those descriptions seem spot on so it's coming across as planned for sure! I did consider whether the accent was a mistake, well at first I questioned whether she has always had the accent and I'd just never taken it in, but then settled on her putting it on, not in a mocking way but more like a mirroring someone you're trying to win over way.

A great read as always. It's clear you really 'get' your roster as so many characters stand out as unique personalities, love Alina, Emma and Brazzle in particular, and despite there being a lot of storylines going on you manage to overlap them and refer back to previous ones. It's what made the main event work, that opening promo setting up was great. I clocked the Ashley Keith hint with the interruption but assumed it would set up something next show so I was still surprised at the end. I also loved JRO sucking up to Bossman complete with accent. Foxxy went a long way to coming across as a main eventer this show and Keith Vs America should be great.
