  1. <p>It’s that times of year in my Golden Age mod. That’s right, it’s time for…</p><p> </p><p>

    <span>http://www.hoffco-inc.com/wwe/ppv/ppv/img/logo-wm04.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

I usually copy and paste a picture of the official results from the game, but the results are MASSIVE. With all the promos and hype highlights in between matches, the show was at least 3 ½ hours long. So here ya go, I’ve written out all the match results.</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Dark Matches</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Big Van Vader defeated Manny Fernandez. (76)</p><p> </p><p>

The Great Muta won a 20 Man Battle Royal. Bob Backlund, Austin Idol, & Butch Reed were the finalists, with Backlund being the runner up. Reed had the most eliminations. (80)</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">LIVE on Pay-Per-View!</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Curt Hennig defeated former tag team partner Dynamite Kid after hitting the Hennig Plex. (76)</p><p> </p><p>

In Six Man Tag Team Action, Tully Blanchard, Jim Neidhart, & Owen Hart defeated Kevin Von Erich and Stars & Stripes (Sgt. Slaughter & Jim Duggan). Arn Anderson interfered, allowing Blanchard to hit Von Erich with a Piledriver for the win. (80)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Two tag team matches were molded together after Arn Anderson was injured days prior to the PPV.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Barry Windham answers Paul Bearer’s “Grave Challenge,” and unfortunately falls victim to The Undertaker and the deadly Tombstone Piledriver. (79)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Paul Bearer asks the entire WWF locker room if there is anyone else back there who is daring enough to answer his “Grave Challenge.” The crowd erupts as the music of the Snake plays! Jake Roberts appears, back from rehab errr injury! The match never starts, but rather the Snake & Taker brawl until Snake knocks Taker out of the ring. Bearer pulls Taker from ringside, as Roberts stands tall in the ring. The Snake gets a standing ovation at Wrestlemania 4!</em></p><p> </p><p>

Razor Ramon defeats The British Bulldog after a timely rake of the eyes allows him to roll up the Bulldog. (75)</p><p> </p><p>

In a 2 out of 3 Falls Match, Tito Santana rallies from a 0-1 start to defeat former Strike Force partner, Rick Martel. In the 3rd fall, Santana hits the Flying Forearm to the win, ending their 6 month feud. (85)</p><p> </p><p>

Sting & Nikita Koloff defeated Heenan Family’s Haku & Rick Rude. After being beaten up and kicked out of the Heenan Family, Paul Orndoff made a surprise return at Mania! He distracts Rude (who sneak attacked him) long enough for Sting to hit Haku with a Diving Clothesline for the 3! (82)</p><p> </p><p>

Andre The Giant defeated Jimmy Snuka after a big body slam and an even bigger elbow drop. (80)</p><p> </p><p>

In a Lumberjack Match, Ted Dibiase defeated Harley Race, ending their 7 month long feud. The Lumberjack Match was meant to stop interference from the Million Dollar Corporation, but yet it was MDC member Bobby Eaton distracting Race, allowing Dibiase to clobber Harley with some foreign object (brass knuckles?). (89)</p><p> </p><p>

Rhythm & Blues defeated The Majestics (Michael P.S. Hayes & Magnificent Muraco). Honky Tonk Man hit Muraco in the spine with his guitar as he was coming off the ropes. Muraco tumbled to the mat, allowing Greg Valentine to drop the big Hammer (Elbow Drop) for the 3. (82)</p><p> </p><p>

In their rubber match, WWF Intercontinental Champion Bret Hart defeated Ricky Steamboat to retain his title. Hart blocked Steamboat’s sunset flip right into a pinning position, and the referee never caught Hitman holding the ropes! (75)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>It turned out Hart & Steamboat had bad chemistry. Still, I was committed to this feud and saw it through to the end. It was fun, at least!</em></p><p> </p><p>

Hulk Hogan defeated Jerry Lawler by DQ after Vince McMahon struck Hogan with a Steel Chair before he could hit the big Leg Drop. (96!)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>McMahon & Lawler attempted to beat down Hogan, but the Hulkster eventually turned the tide. A Double Noggin’ Knocker, and Lawler tumbles to the floor! The crowd erupts as McMahon is left alone with Hogan! Hogan gets some revenge on Vince, who has made his life a living heel for months! A barrage of fists and the big boot to the face! The crowd goes nuts as Hogan delivers the big Leg Drop to McMahon! Lawler carries McMahon from ringside as Hogan celebrates his small taste of victory.</em></p><p> </p><p>

In a Street Fight, WWF World Tag Team Champions The Road Warriors defeated Million Dollar Corporation members Bob Orton & Stan Hansen to retain their titles. All four men bloody and battered, Hawk & Animal hit Orton with the Doomsday Device for the victory. (81)</p><p> </p><p>

In The Main Event of Wrestlemania 4, Roddy Piper defeated Randy Savage to become the <strong>NEW</strong> WWF World Heavyweight Champion! In an epic clash between two legends of this industry, Piper kicked out of Savage’s Flying Elbow, then rolled out of the way of the second! With Savage staggered, Piper locked on the Sleeper Hold! Relentless, Piper refused to let go until Savage slumped to the mat! Finally, the referee jumped up and called for the bell! Hot Rod did it! Hot Rod did it! (99!!!)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>The crowd is in awe as Piper celebrations with the WWF World Title. A lifetime achievement fulfilled, Piper finally wins the championship that’s been chasing after for years. Now we can only wonder…how could the rematch possibly match up to this epic clash?</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Show Rating: 97</span></strong></p>

  2. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Zero" data-cite="Zero" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Just curious, when did you start your game?<p> </p><p> With a long game, do you release these names eventually to let them go else where?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm playing the Golden Age mod, starting March 1987. Just celebrated my one year anniversary! </p><p> </p><p> As for releasing players, just if they're a negative influence or flat out not good. And obviously, if I'm not using them. If they're good and have star quality, no reason to walk them out the door! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Although with the real life mod, especially Golden Age, you have to keep an eye on Freelancers. They won't sign long term contracts (I believe 9 months is the longest they'll sign). Some will renewal their contracts, but others will move on no matter what they're morale is. I lost King Kong Bundy recently, and my Freebird push got crushed when Terry Gordy refused to renew. So much for my Freebirds - Road Warriors feud! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Speaking of my one year anniversary, here it is! Not just that, the final big show before WrestleMania IV! The March To WrestleMania!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="MtWM88.jpg" data-src="https://image.ibb.co/ee6m7G/MtWM88.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Show Notes</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> The top contenders for the Tag Team Titles, Michael Hayes & Magnificent Muraco battled the Million Dollar Corporation’s Bob Orton & Stan Hansen to earn a title shot at Wrestlemania! MDC Leader Ted DiBiase would get involved, grabbing Muraco’s leg from ringside, allowing Hansen to hit the deadly Lariat!</p><p> </p><p> As MDC celebrated, the crowd erupted as the champs, The Road Warriors appeared! Irate after suffering a MDC beatdown weeks ago, Hawk & Animal get some revenge on Orton & Hansen before MDC flee from ringside! We all knew this feud was far from over, and now we’ll see the rematch at Wrestlemania!</p><p> </p><p> Jimmy Snuka has had his issues with the Heenan Family, specifically Haku. It led to this match, and it was hard to ignore Andre The Giant at ringside. Snuka hits his Flying Splash, but when he makes the cover? Andre reaches through the ropes and drags Snuka right out of the ring! The referee calls for the DQ as Andre chokes the life out of Snuka at ringside. Numerous wrestlers appear just to pull the Giant off of Superfly! </p><p> </p><p> After winning the first ever Royal Rumble, Roddy Piper has a date with the WWF Champion, Randy Savage, at Wrestlemania. Ever since then, he has been taking on the Macho Kingdom left and right. This time, it’s Savage’s right hand, Prince (Rick) Martel! Despite interference from the Royal Rook (Hercules), Piper still picks up the W, as the referee calls for the bell when the Sleeper Hold is locked in tight!</p><p> </p><p> Ricky Steamboat and Stars & Stripes (Duggan & Slaughter) have aligned together due to their ongoing issues with the Hart Foundation. It led to this Six Man War. Despite being assaulted by the Foundation earlier in the week, Steamboat and S&S still manage to win here, as The Dragon knocks out Owen Hart with the Flying Chop. Bret Hart might not like it, but the IC Champ is not done yet with the former champ!</p><p> </p><p> Jerry Lawler & Randy Savage’s issue began in January, when Savage barely kept his title against Lawler…with some help from the Macho Kingdom! A rivalry ensued, as both men claim to be the only king in WWF. It led to this match. No WWF Title on the line, just the crowns! Two Kings enter, One King Leaves!</p><p> </p><p> The referee got knocked down late in the match. Savage grabbed hold of his royal scepter. Before he could use it, Roddy Piper would appear and snatch the scepter right out of Savage’s hands from behind! An irate Savage would begin to argue with Piper, allowing Lawler to roll up Savage from behind! 1,2,3! Savage absolutely flips as Piper raises Lawler’s arm, while Lawler raises the one and only crown in the WWF! The Macho King is no more!</p><p> </p><p> It all comes down to this. Who is responsible for making the WWF the #1 wrestling company in the world? Tired of Hulk Hogan getting all the credit, Vince McMahon constructed a plan in the shadows to destroy Hulkamania. Abandoned by Randy Savage & The Macho Kingdom, McMahon has been left all alone. After being screwed numerous times by McMahon, Hogan would coax Vince’s own ego to convince him to agree to a one on one match with the Hulkster! McMahon would try to walk back on the match, but the WWF board supported the verbal agreement.</p><p> </p><p> Cue the epic contract signing and the McMahon training montages. Days before the big-time match, McMahon confronted Hogan and promised that Hulk would regret “crossing the boss.” </p><p> </p><p> The crowd is on their feet as Hogan & McMahon face off across the ring. McMahon tries to bail before the match starts, Hogan gives chases and pummels Vince all over ringside and down the aisle! As Hogan tosses McMahon back into the ring, Hogan gets clobbered from behind with a steel chair by…Jerry Lawler?! What the hell?!</p><p> </p><p> With a shocked crowd watching, Lawler proceeds to assault Hogan with the chair. A maniacal McMahon barks orders from the corner of the ring. Lawler then proceeds to Piledriver Hogan three times, the third time on the steel chair! A beloved fan favorite mere minutes ago, the crowd throws debri at Lawler as McMahon raises The King’s arm while they stand over an injured Hulkster! The crowd goes completely silent as Hogan is taken out on a stretcher, a brace around his neck.</p>
  3. <p>(February 1988) So I'm huge on Star Quality, I'll always push someone with B+ Star Quality and up if they're a good enough talent in-ring. And right now? I have a bunch of new talent coming up from my farm (OVW) that are oozing star quality, who just need exposure. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm not letting these guys go to waste. Problem is, WrestleMania is right around the corner, and all my top talent are in the middle of feuds already! So, I'm just trying to keep these guys busy without doing the same thing with each one. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sting:</strong> My only newcomer face, the definition of white meat babyface. Celebrating with fans, training montages, Sting is the new superstar you want to love. Pretty much, I'm setting him up as the next IC Champion when Bret Hart & Ricky Steamboat are done with their feud.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Great Muta:</strong> The mysterious stranger from Japan, Muta is currently being courted by WWF managers. Who will gain him as a client? Who knows, but the star from Japan continues to win. He nearly gets DQ'ed every time, though, for refusing to break his Muta Lock! A feud with Sting is in his future, but I'm keeping them apart for now. Rated Top Wrestler in the World!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Scott Hall:</strong> Or should I say Razor Ramon? The Bad Guy is racking up victories on my development show (Wrestling Challenge). The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith is said to be returning from injury (rehab) soon, and apparently, Razor plans on "welcoming him back."</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Undertaker:</strong> Led by Paul Bearer, the deadman has a very long undefeated streak in his future. I'm sticking to history here. Scare everyone until everyone loves him! Speaking of history, a Hogan feud could very well be in his future, in about a year's time. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Big Van Vader:</strong> Last but not least, I'm going the tag route with Vader. He's the one guy of the five who could use some more in-ring improvement. And who could be a better tag partner/manager than The Taskmaster? Vader will never take the loss for his team, and eventually, he'll turn on Sullivan and go on his merry way. </p><p> </p><p>

I thought about creating WWF's version of the Dungeon of Doom with Muta, Taker, & Vader. Changed my mind last minute, it felt too forced. Besides, I really want to goof off a bit and create the Varsity Club with Sullivan eventually. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

I have a sneaky feeling that VKM with find some back up (Taker?)</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> Well, as a minor spoiler alert, you're on the right track. I did have to go to Plan B, though, because Plan A consisted of a fresh out of rehab Adrian Adonis. Big fan of Adonis, and this was going to be his big push. Unfortunately, Adonis is ticked that I sent him to rehab (2nd drug test failure), and he refuses to resign with WWF. Only has a few weeks left under contract. Oh wells...</p>
  5. Fell behind on my game because of the holidays, but here we go! The first ever WWF Royal Rumble PPV!

    RR88.jpg

    Show Notes:

That 71 score for the opener was baffling. Lowest wresting rating was an 82. Didn’t expect a 95, but with no negative notes, that was a big head scratcher!

The feud between former tag team partners continues, as Prince (Rick) Martel wins his rematch against Tito Santana. The 2nd in Command behind Macho King Randy Savage, Martel proves why he was named the Prince of the Macho Kingdom! Martel dodges Santana’s Flying Forearm, sending Tito into a hot shot. Martel rolls up Santana from behind, and gets the 3 with a handful of trunks!

As you might assume, becoming Prince Martel is Rick’s first step into becoming a bonafide singles superstar. Eventually, the Model will be born!

The prized graduate of OVW, Sting makes his PPV debut at the Royal Rumble, defeating veteran Nikolai Volkoff!

Ricky Steamboat finally receives his return match against IC Champion Bret Hart, and he looked primed to regain the gold. Unfortunately, the Hart Foundation wouldn’t let that happen. Before Steamboat could cover Hart after a Flying Chop, Jim Neidhart & Owen Hart hit the ring and attacked Steamboat, causing the DQ!

Stars & Stripes (Jim Duggan & Sgt Slaughter) hurried to the ring for the rescue, saving Steamboat from significant damage. Having their own problems with the Harts, S&S and Steamboat send the Foundation fleeing. Sadly, Steamboat gets the win…but not the gold!

The lengthy feud between Harley Race & Ted DiBiase only becomes grittier, as DiBiase cheats his way to a victory in a rematch with Race. MDC follower Bobby Eaton would distract the referee, allowing DiBiase to clock Race with something from his tights, then hid the foreign object before being caught! DiBiase laughs at celebrates, pleased with the way he has toppled his heated rival!

Road Warriors versus Bob Orton & Stan Hansen was just as promised. Just a brutal brawl that the referee couldn’t control, even in the slightest. Eventually, the match spilled out to the ring, and the competitors were too busy beating each other up to care at all about the ten count. The brawl didn’t end with the match, though, as the locker room would clear to separate these four men. Clearly, nothing was solved in this Tag Team Title match!

    Royal Rumble Stats!

    Iron Man: Tito Santana

    Most Eliminations: Roddy Piper

Final Four: Roddy Piper, Jerry Lawler, Ted DiBiase, & Andre The Giant

The first ever Royal Rumble comes down to the two men who feuded the entire fall of 1987, Andre The Giant & Roddy Piper. Once more, it looks like Piper is going to fall to the giant. Giant lifts Piper into the air to dump out of the ring, but Piper breaks off behind Andre! Piper shoves Andre forward, tipping him over the top rope! Piper clobbers away, lefts and rights, knocking Andre further and further over! Finally, as Andre is nearly upside down, Piper pushes on Andre’s legs until the Giant tips over and drops to the floor! Hot Rod has done it!

In his post-match promo, Piper puts it perfect. “I’M GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA!!!”

In his final chance to regain the WWF World Heavyweight Championship, Hulk Hogan goes to war against Macho King Randy Savage in a Steel Cage! Hogan fights off all the odds, as all of Savage’s followers in the Macho Kingdom attempt to get involved. Hogan takes them all out, and eventually drops the big Leg Drop on Savage!

Hogan calls for the cage door to be opened. As Hogan exits the cage, Vince McMahon slams the cage door right on Hulk’s skull! McMahon gets involved again to stop Hulkamania! Hogan falls to the mat, seemingly out cold! Savage crawls over Hogan, and crawls right out of the cage to regain the WWF Title!

    McMahon has screwed Hulkamania again!

    What’s Next?

The March To Wrestlemania! The final big show before Wrestlemania IV!

Before Macho King has to fend with Rumble Winner Roddy Piper at Mania, he is at odds with whom he calls an imposter, “King” Jerry Lawler. The WWF Title isn’t on the line, but the crown is! Two Kings enter, One King leaves at the March To Wrestlemania!

Speaking of Savage, after his final battle with Hogan, Macho King makes its clear he is done with Vince McMahon. Savage admits he only used McMahon to rid himself of Hogan! Left all alone, McMahon is coaxed into a singles match against Hulk Hogan! Hogan played into McMahon’s ego to convince him to accept the challenge!

But wait a minute…could it all actually be a ploy by the evil McMahon? I guess we’ll find out!

And as, Sting begins to make a name for himself into the WWF, two more new interesting names have appeared on the scene. Managers like Bobby Heenan and Jimmy Hart are trying to learn what they can about the international sensation, The Great Muta! All these managers see money in Muta’s future!

And if you think the Great Muta might be odd…weighing in at 320 pounds…from Death Valley…I give you…The Undertaker!!!

  6. <p>The World Wrestling Federation went up north for their final big event in 1987. That's right folks, it's the <strong>Canadian Stampede!</strong> </p><p> </p><p>

    <img alt="Canadian_Stampede.jpg" data-src="https://image.ibb.co/nCuPLR/Canadian_Stampede.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Ignore the fact that the show happened in Boston, please. Yes yes, I screwed up assigning the arena. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />:(<img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

    Show Notes:</p><p> </p><p>

Earlier in the month at Saturday Night's Main Event, Tito Santana defeated former partner Rick Martel when Martel deliberately got counted out when he walked out on the match. In the ongoing weeks, Martel began to throw tantrums as Santana got the crowd chanting "chicken" towards Martel every time Rick showed up in the arena! </p><p> </p><p>

At Canadian Stampede, Martel would interfere in the WWF World Title Match, attacking Santana behind the referee's back, and ruining what was easily Match of the Night. The attack allowed "Macho King" Randy Savage to hit his Flying Elbow and receive the 3 Count. </p><p> </p><p>

Race - Hansen is just another addition to the war Harley has waged against the Million Dollar Corporation, ever since Ted DiBiase bought Race's contract from former manager Bobby Heenan back in the early fall. Race challenged MDC member Stan Hansen after Stan cost him a Tag Match against DiBiase & Bob Orton. </p><p> </p><p>

With the referee down, DiBiase tried to toss in Hansen's cowbell to the cowboy. But, Race intercepted the weapon, then proceeded to knock Hansen out cold with it! Race wins, and DiBiase is left irate. </p><p> </p><p>

At Survivor Series, Vince McMahon was revealed to be the masked man who cost Hulk Hogan the WWF World Title at Summerslam. Aligned with the Macho Kingdom and Randy Savage, McMahon has been out to prove that he deserves the credit for the success of WWF, and has grown tired of Hulkamania getting all the credit. </p><p> </p><p>

McMahon did, though, give Hogan an opportunity to receive one more World Title shot against Savage. All he had to do was beat Savage's Masked Court, The Royal Knight (Butch Reed) & The Royal Rook (Hercules), in a Handicap Match! </p><p> </p><p>

<em>(It was originally supposed to be 3 on 1, but The Royal Bishop (Bill Eadie) suffered a Torn Muscle, and is out for five months).</em></p><p> </p><p>

It looked like Hogan was going to beat the odds in the Handicap Match, but that was when Savage interfered and attacked Hulk with his Royal Sceptor. Hogan wins by DQ and will receive another title shot, but is brutally assaulted by the Macho Kingdom. Savage shoves the World Title in Hogan's face and screams at him. "You will NEVER beat me for MY championship!"</p><p> </p><p>

The heated feud between Roddy Piper & Andre The Giant finally comes to a close. Both man carried a win over the other in singles competition. Andre won the first match by Count Out after delivering an Elbow Drop on the floor, leaving Piper unable to get back in the ring. Piper won the rematch after Andre The Giant refused to break an illegal choke. After the match, Piper would arm himself with a steel chair and chase Andre away!</p><p> </p><p>

This time, Andre would deliver not one but two devastating Elbow Drops to Piper's chest. This time in the center of the ring, and there's no getting up from that! Andre wins the rubber match. </p><p> </p><p>

The blood feud between The Road Warriors & The Hart Foundation finally comes to an end. It was supposed to end at Survivor Series, then at Saturday Night's Main Event, but a saga of injuries would cause setbacks:</p><p> </p><p>

    - Road Warrior Animal gets injured a week before Survivor Series and is forced out of the match. Ricky Steamboat replaces him, and the match becomes a non-title bout.</p><p> </p><p>

    - Jim Neidhart gets hurt in the tag match at Survivor Series, and is out until February. Owen Hart takes his spot in the official return match for the Tag Team Titles.</p><p> </p><p>

    - Road Warrior Animal AGAIN gets hurt a week before the big rematch. The match is rescheduled, moved from SNME to Canadian Stampede (two weeks later). </p><p> </p><p>

    - Expecting the Tag Feud to be over by December, Bret Hart was supposed to win the Intercontinental Title from Ricky Steamboat in his home country at Canadian Stampede. With all the injuries, Hitman instead won the IC Title at December's SNME two weeks earlier. Two feuds intertwined at once! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

That all said, The Road Warriors are triumphant over Bret & Owen Hart. They celebrate to end the show, their biggest rivals now behind them. </p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">What's Next???</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

    - Savage & Hogan Battle One More Time Over The WWF World Title at The Royal Rumble, inside a Steel Cage!</p><p>

    - Also at the Royal Rumble, former IC Champion Ricky Steamboat will get his rematch with new champ, Bret Hart.</p><p>

    - It was supposed to be MDC's Bob Orton & Stan Hansen challenging the Road Warriors at Canadian Stampede. Orton & Hansen claim Hawk & Animal "got out of the match" because they're scared of the cowboys. Needless to say, Road Warriors are out to prove that's a bunch of BS!</p><p>

    - Oh yeah, and the first ever Royal Rumble!</p>

  7. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="dbritton987" data-cite="dbritton987" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><em>Animal was legit hurt, setting up this alteration. It kind of works out, because this was supposed to the finale match, the rubber match between the Road Warriors & Hart Foundation over the Tag Team Titles. Bret was going to move on to feud with Steamboat over the IC Title, so this just sets it up differently.</em></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Welp, I put up so much work to build up to Bret going off as a singles competitor and leader of the Hart Foundation. Anvil and Owen would become the primary tag team, Brian Pillman would join, and later Davey Boy when he's back from rehab. </p><p> </p><p> Already hit my first bump, finding out that Bret & Steamboat have awful chemistry via house show booking. Great! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I've put so much work into setting this feud up, I'm just going to suck it up and hope for the best. I'm avoiding Triple Threats and Fatal Four Ways, because no company did them in the late 80s, so hopefully Hitman and Dragon can still have some solid matches. Keep this feud hot with great angles. </p><p> </p><p> It's been an odd game with Steamboat. He keeps up ending up with bad chemistry with my top heel stars outside Savage & Bob Orton. Legit, like five guys now! I might have to avoid the game's advice and turn Steamboat heel. Hmmmm......sounds crazy enough to be awesomely fun! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Not exactly sure where I'm going with the McMahon - Savage alliance, just going with the flow. I know McMahon will continue feuding with Hogan no matter where I go, kind of like a jealously angle that Hogan gets all the credit for turning WWF into what it is (ala 2003).</p>
  9. WWF Survivor Series 1987!

Team Dragon Fire vs The Million Dollar Corporation

Team Dragon Fire: *Captain* WWF Intercontinental Champion Ricky Steamboat, Harley Race, Koko B. Ware, & Southern Comfort (Austin Idol & Dutch Mantell)

The Million Dollar Corporation: *Captain* Ted Dibiase, Bob Orton, Stan Hansen, Dino Bravo, & Bobby Eaton

Steamboat leaves his team at a disadvantage after The Dragon & Stan Hansen are fighting outside, and are both counted out. Team Dragon Fire never really recovers without their captain. It comes down to Harley Race alone against Ted DiBiase & Bob Orton. Race manages to eliminate Orton. But thanks to a distraction by Orton, DiBiase manages to roll up Race for a 3 Count with a handful of tights! The Million Dollar Corporation wins!

Jake Roberts was supposed to be apart of Team Dragon Fire, but failed his second drug test and was sent to rehab. It really downgraded the team, and made my decision on who should win a lot easier.

    Team Santana vs Team Martel

Team Santana: *Captain* Tito Santana, Barry Windham, Kevin Von Erich, Bob Backlund, & Ken Patera

Team Martel: *Captain* Rick Martel, Rhythm & Blues, Owen Hart, & Nikolai Volkoff

The former team known as Strike Force face off for the first time since Rick Martel attacked his own partner. After both teams lose three members, Santana & Backlund are left to face off with Martel & Greg Valentine. But Martel has no interest in ever getting into the ring with Santana, and deliberately gets counted out of the match! Santana eventually puts Valentine away with the Flying Forearm, winning it for his team! Santana & Backlund survive, but its clear Tito is frustrated he never got his hands on Martel!

Backstage, WWF World Tag Team Champion Road Warrior Hawk tells Gene Okerlund that the ruling has come down from the doctors. His partner, Animal, will be unable to compete tonight due to the vicious backstage attack by the Hart Foundation earlier in the week. The titles are no longer on the line, but the match is still on! Hawk has been granted permission to find a new partner! Hawk has found that partner, and he is…

Road Warrior Hawk & Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat vs The Hart Foundation

Steamboat is pulling double duty! Despite eventually cutting off the ring on Steamboat and working him over, it’s clear Hitman & Anvil are not on top of their game. They’re irate that Steamboat was added to the match, they thought they could cheat their way into a Handicap Match for the Tag Team Titles! Steamboat flies off the top rope and wipes Neidhart out with a beautiful Cross Body Block, gaining the three count and the win for his team!

Animal was legit hurt, setting up this alteration. It kind of works out, because this was supposed to the finale match, the rubber match between the Road Warriors & Hart Foundation over the Tag Team Titles. Bret was going to move on to feud with Steamboat over the IC Title, so this just sets it up differently.

Animal should recover in a couple weeks, so the big finale match will happen in December ’87. Neidhart, though, now has a nagging injury after this match, leaving me to decide what to do. Still have the finale match and have Neidhart work with the injury? Or do the finale match with Owen Hart replacing the Anvil? Either way, Road Warriors will be victorious, and move onto their next challengers!

Team Hayes & Muraco vs Team Brainbusters

Team Hayes & Muraco: *Co-Captains* Michael Hayes & Magnificent Muraco, Tommy Rich, & The Mechanics (Dynamite Kid & Curt Hennig)

Team Brainbusters: *Co-Captains* Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard, The (Macho) King’s Court (Royal Knight, Royal Bishop, & Royal Rook)

(Knight = Butch Reed, Bishop = Bill Eadie, Rook = Hercules, all masked)

The Macho King will be disappointed, because Hayes & Muraco’s team manage to eliminate all three masked men to start off the match. Left by themselves, Arn & Tully use dirty tactics to pick through the opposing team, including blinding Michael Hayes with powder. First Rich, then Dynamite, then Hennig, then Muraco! The Brainbusters eliminate them all! Clearly injured, Hayes is left alone, but he tries to fight through squinted eyes, and nearly pulls off the upset. But eventually, Tully Blanchard hits Hayes with a punishing Piledriver, putting him away. The Brainbusters survive!

Roddy’s Rowdies vs The Heenan Family

Roddy’s Rowdies: *Captain* Roddy Piper, Jerry Lawler, Sgt. Slaughter, Brutus Beefcake, & Jimmy Snuka

The Heenan Family: *Captain* Andre The Giant, Paul Orndoff, King Kong Bundy, Haku, & Rick Rude

Andre is dominating to start, eliminating Beefcake & Snuka single handedly. But when Andre gets his hands around heated rival Piper’s throat, he makes the mistake of throwing down the referee when the ref tries to break it up. Andre gets himself DQ’ed, thus Heenan Family loses their big time advantage! Roddy’s Rowdies then eliminate Haku & Rude, gaining the advantage. Orndoff rolls up Slaughter with his feet on the ropes. Lawler puts away his rival Bundy with the classic Fist Drop off the second rope. Bundy drags Lawler from the ring and the two brawl, leading to Lawler getting Counted Out. Down to one on one, Piper wins it when he snatches the brass knuckles Bobby Heenan tries to slip in to Orndoff. Mr. Wonderful is knocked out cold with one punch, and the referee never caught Piper! Hot Rod is the Sole Survivor!

    The Main Event!

    WWF World Heavyweight Championship Match!

“Macho King” Randy Savage ( C ) vs “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan

The epic rematch finally happens, after Hogan was robbed of his WWF Title back at Summerslam. And you know what? It goes down awfully similar! Hogan rallies back in the epic counter. The barrage of fists, off the ropes goes Savage, and Hogan drops him with the Big Boot! Hogan calls for the Leg Drop! Wait, here’s the King’s Court, the loyal followers of the Macho King! Savage’s masked court members climb onto the apron, and Hogan knocks them all off!

Hogan goes off the ropes and hits the Leg Drop! BOOM! He hits it! Hogan goes to cover, but there! It’s the masked man from Summer Slam! The man in all black who cost Hogan the WWF Title! The masked man begins to attack Hogan, leaving the referee no choice but to call for the Disqualification! Hogan has been robbed again!

His job done, the mysterious masked man tries to escape, but Hogan grabs him before he can race off! Hogan clobbers him! Hogan has him by the mask! Hulk rips it off! It’s….it’s….Vince McMahon??!! The Owner of the WWF is the one who screwed Hogan?! But why?! Enraged, Hogan continues to clobber McMahon all over the ring, until finally members of the King’s Court manage to pull Vince out of the ring! The Macho Kingdom (with Vince) then escape up the aisle. Savage is in the middle of them all, the WWF World Title raised high! Hogan is left all alone in the ring, completely baffled.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we just witnessed the biggest screwjob in the history of professional wrestling! Vince McMahon, President of WWF, has screwed Hulk Hogan, the man who made the WWF what it is today!

  10. <p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">WWF Summerslam 1987!</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Strike Force vs Rhythm & Blues</span></strong></p><p>

Tito Santana & Rick Martel look for revenge after losing their first encounter with Honky Tonk Man & Greg Valentine via dirty fashion. Behind the referee’s back, Honky attempts to hit Santana with his guitar, but Tito dodges. The guitar smacks off the top rope, bounces off, and hits Honky right back in the head! Dazed and confused, Honky staggers as Santana races off the ropes and hits the Flying Forearm! 1,2,3 Strike Force get revenge!</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Hair vs Hair Match!</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

    Brutus Beefcake vs Austin Idol</span></strong></p><p>

Tonight, Beefcake earns the nickname that will forever leave him memorable in wrestling history. Beefcake puts heated rival Idol out cold with the Sleeper Cold, then proceeds to clip off those beautiful blonde locks! Idol is saved by partner Dutch Mantell before Beefcake finishes the job. That doesn’t stop Beefcake from dancing and strutting with a handful of blonde hair!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka vs King Kong Bundy</span></strong></p><p>

Snuka tries to use a combination of speed, athleticism, and experience to take down the massive Bundy. It works for awhile, but eventually the behemoth gets in his shots and slows Snuka down. Bundy eventually manages to squash Snuka with the Big Splash and get the 3 Count.</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Six Man Tag Team Action!</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Dynamite Kid, Curt Hennig, & Blue Blazer vs Dino Bravo, Masked Superstar, & Haku</span></strong></p><p>

Issues rose after Bravo & Superstar lost to their rivals Dynamite & Hennig, and they only continued for the tandem during the match. Eventually, it gets so bad that Bravo walks out on the match! Not too long after, Bobby Heenan instructs his client Haku to take a walk, too, leaving Superstar all alone! Superstar is put out of his misery when Blazer heads to the top rope and wipes him out with a Flying Cross Body! </p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">2 Out Of 3 Falls Match!</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs Harley Race</span></strong></p><p>

A feud that began all the way back at Wrestlemania 3 finally comes to a close at the first ever Summerslam. Race takes the first fall after a Piledriver on Roberts. Race misses with a headbutt from the second rope, allowing Roberts to hit the DDT to tie things up. Roberts eventually tries for the DDT again, but Bobby Heenan stops him by grabbing Snake by the leg from ringside! It’s enough of a distraction for Race to take advantage of, and he connects with a high knee to Roberts’s previously injured back! Race hits a Bridging Fisherman’s Suplex and gets the 3! Race wins the finale in this rivalry!</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Strap Match!</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan vs Sgt. Slaughter</span></strong></p><p>

A flat-out slugfest between two infamous brawlers, it looks like Duggan is in prime control late in his match. He starts to tag the turnbuckles, not realizing Slaughter is following him and doing the same. Looking to put Slaughter down for good, Duggan hits Sarge with a big lariat, but mistakenly knocks him right into the final turnbuckle! Slaughter wins!...though he barely knows he has done so!</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">WWF World Tag Team Championship!</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

The Hart Foundation ( C ) vs The Road Warriors</span></strong></p><p>

After months of anticipation, we finally get to see these two great teams go at it. After a back and forth contest, we’re about to see history. Road Warrior Animal has Bret Hart up in the air as Road Warrior Hawk heads to the top rope. Here comes the Doomsday Device! Jimmy Hart is on the apron arguing with the referee, and…wait a minute! Someone just came out of the crowd and chopblocked Animal from behind! Animal falls to the mat, and Bret comes crashing down on top of him! Jim Neidhart shoves Hawk off the top rope as Bret rolls Animal up tightly! 1,2,3! What just happened?!</p><p> </p><p>

As the Harts quickly escape ringside, we get a close up look at this mystery man who cost the Road Warriors the Tag Titles. Oh my…it’s none other than Bret Hart’s little brother Owen! It looks like Bret found some backup for tonight! The Hart Foundation just grew plus one!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Kevin Von Erich vs “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndoff</span></strong></p><p>

A classic tale of young lion challenging the prestigious veteran, Von Erich gives Orndoff his best shots and nearly shocks the world. But one bad mistake, and Orndoff is there, ready to take advantage. Orndoff hits his trademark Piledriver, thus getting the win over Von Erich.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">“Rowdy” Roddy Piper vs Andre The Giant</span></strong></p><p>

Piper is not the type of man to back away from any challenge, not even when he’s facing the largest wrestler in the world. It’s a tall task, still, and it eventually turns grave when the battle ends up at ringside. Andre bodyslams Piper on the floor, then crushes him with a five hundred pound elbow drop! Piper tries to recover, but is unable to beat the referee’s ten count! The Giant gets the big win via Count Out!</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">WWF Intercontinental Championship!</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat ( C ) vs “Cowboy” Bob Orton</span></strong></p><p>

This is a rematch, the previous encounter won by Steamboat via DQ after interference by Ted DiBiase. DiBiase gets involved again for his fellow member of the Million Dollar Corporation, and nearly costs Steamboat the IC Title. Wait a minute! It’s Don Muraco, Bob Orton’s former partner! He’s been out with an injury after being betrayed by Orton, a contract hit by the Million Dollar Man! Orton is stunned to see his former partner, as Muraco chases DiBiase from ringside. This distraction allows Steamboat to climb to the top rope, and the Dragon flies! Orton gets his right on top of his head with the Flying Chop, and is out cold for the 3 Count! The Dragon retains the IC Title!</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Originally, it was going to be Steamboat vs Adonis for the IC Title. Sadly, Adonis was sent to rehab after his second failed drug test. Muraco was suspended for starting a backstage fight, thus two feuds were combined into one.</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Fabulous Freebirds vs The Brainbusters</span></strong></p><p>

Anderson & Blanchard tried to take out Terry Gordy, but Bam Bam is back in time for Summerslam! An exciting, back and forth contest, Gordy gets the hot tag late as all hell breaks loose. Michael P.S. Hayes eventually gets the tag back in and hits the Running Bulldog on Blanchard for the 3 Count! Freebirds get the win, but the heated words post-match tell me that this feud is far from over!</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">WWF World Heavyweight Championship</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

“The Immortal” Hulk Hogan ( C ) vs “Macho King” Randy Savage</span></strong></p><p>

An epic clash of two legendary wrestlers, earning a 96 rating! Savage won the 1987 King of the Ring, thus earning himself a title shot at the first ever Summerslam. Hogan makes his classic rally late, putting the Macho King on his heels. A barrage of fists, and here comes the big boot! The crowd is on their feet as Hogan calls for the Leg Drop! </p><p> </p><p>

Wait a minute! Who is that? Some Masked Man, dressed in all black is on the apron, arguing with the referee! The Masked Man has Hogan’s attention, and Hulk grabs hold and decks him! The referee tries to get the Masked Man off the apron, as Macho King clobbers Hogan with the Royal Sceptor! Hogan is down and hurt! Savage heads to the top rope! The Flying Elbow, Boom! 1,2,3! Oh My God, Macho King has ended Hogan’s 3 ½ Year Title Reign! Macho King has stolen the WWF Championship!</p><p> </p><p>

<em>What’s up next for my Golden Age Mod?</em></p><p> </p><p>

Aside setting up for the first ever Survivor Series, the month of September will filled up with the Jack Tunney Sr. Tag Team Memorial Tournament. The winner will receive a WWF World Tag Team Title Match! </p><p> </p><p>

Speaking of tag teams, a new addition will be coming soon, as bitter enemies become best friends. Star & Stripes is born, as Jim Duggan & Sgt. Slaughter carry old glory on their way to the ring!</p><p> </p><p>

New additions to the roster include Rick Rude, fresh off a rehab stint. Also, the newly signed…Master of the Lariat…Stan Hansen!</p><p> </p><p>

As for who was that masked man? Well…we might just have to wait for Survivor Series…</p><p>

    </p></div><p></p><p></p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Quarter Finals</span></strong></p><p>

Harley Race defeats Road Warrior Animal via Count Out after Animal is attacked by King Kong Bundy.</p><p> </p><p>

“Macho Man” Randy Savage defeats “Rowdy” Roddy Piper via Roll Up after Piper is blinded by Adrian Adonis with some type of perfume(?). </p><p> </p><p>

Road Warrior Hawk defeats “Adorable” Adrian Adonis via Flying Lariat when Adonis was distracted by Roddy Piper. An enraged Piper never got to the ring due to security blocking him, but did distract Adonis enough to cost him the match!</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Semi Finals</span></strong></p><p>

In a grudge match between two rivals, Jake “The Snake” Roberts defeats Harley Race with a devastating DDT, connecting out of a nowhere.</p><p> </p><p>

“Macho Man” Randy Savage defeats Road Warrior Hawk via Count Out. Savage reversed a body slam at ringside and sent Hawk face first into the ring post. Clearly incapacitated by the shot, Hawk was unable to beat the referee’s ten count. </p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Finals!</span></strong></p><p>

In a classic encounter (93 score), “Macho Man” Randy Savage defeats Jake “The Snake” Roberts to become the 1987 King of the Ring! Savage hits the Flying Elbow, thus earning the 3 Count and his crown!</p><p> </p><p>

Savage will now go onto Summerslam, for he has earned a WWF World Heavyweight Championship Match at WWF’s new pay-per-view! He will face the winner of Hulk Hogan & Andre The Giant, who will have their historic rematch…in a Steel Cage…at The War To Settle The Score!</p><p> </p><p>

    Long Live The Macho King!</p>

Plenty of plans going forward, too. One of the personal favorite is starting Curt Hennig off as a handsome, white meat babyface before eventually snapping into the persona who all know and love.</p>
  13. <p>Gave up on the Golden Age mod awhile back. My locker room went to hell with all the drug test failures and I just got annoyed dealing with it. Decided to give it another try after doing my homework, reading up on how other people have played the mod. Doing good to start. Only drug testing for hard drugs and painkillers (for now). Only JYD in rehab right now from wrestling high on drugs. </p><p> </p><p>

Anywho, here’s my Wrestlemania III card! </p><p> </p><p>

Live from the Pontiac Silverdome!</p><p> </p><p>

In their WWF wrestling debut, <strong>The Road Warriors</strong> defeat <strong>The Dream Team</strong> after destroying Brutus Beefcake with the Doomsday Device.</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>Tully Blanchard</strong> defeats <strong>Koko B. Ware</strong> after the Slingshot Suplex.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase</strong> defeats <strong>Billy Jack Haynes</strong>, rolling him up after sending him face first into the exposed turnbuckle.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Curt Hennig & Strike Force</strong> defeat <strong>The Heenan Family</strong> (Paul Orndoff, King Kong Bundy, & Hercules). Hercules is put down for the 3 after Strike Force’s Dropkick-Sunset Flip Combo.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Originally was going to be JYD vs Orndoff, so there was a change of plans after JYD was sent to rehab.</em></p><p> </p><p>

In a Hair vs Hair Match, <strong>“Rowdy” Roddy Piper</strong> defeats <strong>Adrian Adonis</strong> after putting him to sleep with the Sleeper Hold! Adonis is out cold as Piper gives him a clean trim! Adonis wakes up to a big surprise, and the entire crowd laughing and pointing!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Cowboy”Bob Orton & Magnificent Muraco</strong> defeat <strong>“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan & Manny Fernandez</strong> after Orton blasts Fernandez with his cast behind the referee’s back.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Originally was supposed to be Sgt. Slaughter teaming with Duggan, but an injury forced him out.</em></p><p> </p><p>

In the match of the night (96), WWF Intercontinental Champion <strong>“Macho Man” Randy Savage</strong> defeats <strong>Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat</strong> to retain his championship. An epic counter, Savage rolls through on Steamboat’s cross body attempt into a pinning predicament, and manages to just barely keep the Dragon’s shoulders down for a 3 count!</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Don’t worry fans of history, there will be a rematch! Steamboat’s time will come!</em></p><p> </p><p>

WWF World Tag Team Champions <strong>The Hart Foundation</strong> defeat <strong>The British Bulldogs</strong> to successfully retain their championship. If the Harts got DQ’ed or Counted Out (like the previous match), they would lose their titles. Unfortunately, the referee didn’t catch Bret Hart hitting Dynamite Kid with Jimmy Hart’s megaphone!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Harley Race</strong> defeats <strong>Jake “The Snake” Roberts</strong>. The Snake came into the match with Chronic Lower Back Pain, and many wondered if he should even be competing. Race took full advantage, and Roberts could never overcome the effects of the injury. </p><p> </p><p>

In the Main Event, WWF World Heavyweight Champion <strong>“The Immortal” Hulk Hogan</strong> defeats <strong>Andre The Giant</strong> to retain his championship. The epic encounter we all expected, Giant stays down barely for the 3 after Hogan hits the Leg Drop of Doom. This time, history takes its course!</p><p> </p><p>

Next big event (Bashed in the USA) will pit Hogan & The Road Warriors versus Andre & The Heenan Family, furthering the feud a little longer. Endgame is an eventual Cage Match between Hogan & Andre. Event will also be headlined by Savage versus Piper for the IC Title. </p><p> </p><p>

Long term plans is Hogan versus Savage at Summerslam, then a potential rematch at Survivor Series or Wrestlemania!</p>

  14. <p>Finished year one (2016) with my created company, 5 Star Wrestling. I built the company to be old school Ring of Honor-ish. No storylines, the company runs on a singles and tag team ranking structure. You beat the guy above you, you take his spot in the rankings, all the way up to the #1 spot and a title shot. There are other rules that apply to the rankings to keep it interesting, but that's the gist of it!</p><p> </p><p>

(Defeated Mr. Lucha, 5SW Legends of Tomorrow (TV), June, 45 Title Defenses) </p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>3) Roger Cage</strong></p><p>

(Defeated Thrill Seeker, 5SW Legends of Tomorrow (TV), December, 5 Title Defenses)</p><p> </p><p>

The 5SW Television Title is exactly that. It must be defended at EVERY television show. Exceptions are made for minor injuries, but title defenses must be made up for. For example, Roger Cage is currently out for approximately three weeks with a crack sternum. When he is healthy, he is scheduled to defend his TV Title in a 20 Man Battle Royal!</p><p> </p><p>

Thrill Seeker, by the way, is also out with an injury, causing me to cancel their highly anticipated rematch over the Television Championship. After successfully defending the TV Title FORTY-FIVE straight times, Seeker is determined to get "his" title back. And personally, I want to see if they can beat their first match rating of 92! </p><p> </p><p>

There are no rankings for the TV Title. Instead, title shots are awarded by the "5SW Council" to those they deem worthy. </p><p> </p><p>

Started at low Cult, just enough above that I wouldn't fall into Regional with just one bad show (I hoped). Scratched and clawed with the wrestling industry in the toilet. Now I'm only two regions away from getting there, and they're close. Maybe one more good PPV will put me over!</p>

  15. I'm taking a break from my latest TCW game, so I created my own (classic) RoH-ish company. I have a company name I've enjoyed using over the years, so here we go again. Behold, the new wrestling company known as 5 Star Wrestling! :D

I tried to be fair but also made sure I could have some fun with the brand new company. I started 5SW just a notch above Cult level. Just enough that if I had one bad show I wouldn't fall to Regional. Financially, I started off with 1 million dollars.

The company is based off a ranking system rather than feuds. Make your way up to #1 Ranking for a title shot (singles and tag team). If you lose, you get knocked out of the Top Ten. You beat someone above you, you take their spot!

To make it interesting, there are "Special Challenge" Matches. Simply put, you challenge champions to a non-title match. If they accept and the "5SW Counsel" approves, you get the match. If you win, you receive a title shot.

There are two exceptions to Special Challenge Matches. 1) You cannot challenge a champion if you've received a title shot from them prior. 2) You cannot challenge a champion to a "Special Challenge" more than once during their current title reign.

5SW also has a Television Champion, and it is exactly that. It must be defended every television episode, no exceptions. The first champ, Mr. Lucha, went fifteen straight title defenses before meeting his demise against Thrill Seeker.

Roger Cage is the first ever 5SW World Heavyweight Champion. Pretty much, I've stationed Cage as the leader of the roster because of his charisma and star quality. A good start while I develop the young, talented guys. Deciding who will be the next champ, right now it's between Mr. Lucha, Ricky DeColt, and Thrill Seeker.

Thrill Seeker, by the way, received a boost in star quality because he altered his build to Muscular Lightweight, and statistically is my best all-around talent right now.

Kirk Jameson & Ricky DeColt, known as Natural Selection, are my first ever 5SW World Tag Team Champions. Their time as champs are coming to an end, though, as Los Fenómenos (Nicolas Lopez & Silver Tiger) are currently scheduled to become the next champs. Can't complain about a successful 6 month reign!

The company is making money and rising in popularity slowly, despite a weak wrestling industry and economy. Been picking off TCW when I can, they fell to Cult and no longer give out Written Contracts.

I'm not interested in fighting with National companies over talent just yet...that is, until free agent Jay Chord came along! I offered an incentive filled contract, so I'm waiting to see if that's enough. At Cult level, I'm only going to go after major names if they carry some major star quality (and talent).

  16. <p>It was an epic night for The Syndicate at TCW's Malice in Wonderland 2017.</p><p> </p><p>

First, "The Enforcers" of the Syndicate, Steven Parker & Bulldozer (Brandon) Smith successfully defended their TCW World Tag Team Championships against Ricky DeColt & Mr. Lucha. Champions for less than a month, Parker & Bulldozer prove they deserve to be atop of the tag division.</p><p> </p><p>

Later on, Jay Chord defeats Aaron Andrews to become the NEW TCW International Champion! Out of the blue, Chord sneak attacked Andrews, targeting the knee earlier in the month. Andrews tried to hide the injury during the match, but Chord was a vicious pitbull. Eventually, the knee injury was too much for Andrews and would hinder him in battle. </p><p> </p><p>

In the Main Event, Rocky Golden would challenge the Syndicate Leader, Wolf Hawkins, for the TCW World Heavyweight Championship. Just when it seemed Rocky would end Wolf's reign and become a 6-Time World Champ, the rest of the Syndicate would hit the ring, causing the DQ.</p><p> </p><p>

The Syndicate armed themselves with chairs and began to destroy the behemoth known as Rocky Golden. Anyone who tried to save Golden would receive a chair shot for interfering. The icing on the cake, the Syndicate proceeded to lift Golden into the air and powerbomb him through a table.</p><p> </p><p>

Standing atop the world, The Syndicate stood over the fallen Golden, all four displaying TCW Championship Gold!</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Spoiler Alert: In case you didn't guess, this is going to set up a big time rematch. Wolf Hawkins. Rocky Golden. TCW World Heavyweight Championship. TLC!!!</em></p>

  17. <p>Just finished year one of my latest TCW game. My 5 on 5 Cage Wars at Psycho Circus didn’t have the rating I had hoped, but it was still fun setting up a battlefield between the top faces in TCW and the infamous stable known as The Syndicate.</p><p> </p><p>

Here’s my champion roll call rounding out 2016:</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW World Heavyweight:</span></strong> Wolf Hawkins <em>(defeated Eddie Peak, May ’16, 14 Title Defenses)</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW International:</span></strong> Aaron Andrews <em>(defeated Sammy Bach, August ’16, 11 Title Defenses)</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW World Tag Team:</span></strong> Ricky DeColt & Benny Benson <em>(won tournament to win vacated titles, November ’16, 2 Title Defenses)</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW Women’s:</span></strong> Sara Marie York<em> (won inaugural tournament, September ’16, 6 Title Defenses)</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW Women’s Tag Team:</span></strong> The A-List <em>( won inaugural tournament, October ’16, 2 Title Defenses)</em></p><p> </p><p>

My roster is pretty darn big now, with more names already on their way. Rich Money debuted on the first episode of 2017. Mikey James & John Greed are soon to follow. I’ve been forced to become a stickler in signings as a result. If you don’t have star quality in at least the mid seventies? I probably don’t even bother. </p><p> </p><p>

The roster is so big that I decided to start 2017 by splitting the male division in two. Behold, the TCW Junior Heavyweight Division, highlighting the superstars that are Lightweight size or smaller! I’m about to start a sixteen man tournament to crown the first ever champion…but to be frank, it’s my way to hide the fact that I’m still building the roster over the next month or so. El Leon, Benny Benson, Chance Fortune, Multimillonario, Edd Stone, and many others look to shine in the new division. Mikey James, too, will hop right into the limelight when his contract begins. </p><p> </p><p>

I’m hoping to not split the two male divisions into two separate shows. That feels like a cop out and too systematic. I’m going to see if I can keep it organized on the same shows, but if it becomes too messy? I’ll throw my hands up, admit defeat, and create my own Smackdown & Raw like I’ve done in the past. The Women’s division already has its own show, just so I can emphasize an entire 30 women roster. So, it won’t be that much a stretch to make the roster into three brands. </p><p> </p><p>

Other plans in 2017 include turning the likes of Jay Chord & Kirk Jameson into main event stars. Haven’t yet decided if I’ll turn Chord face to fight against the Syndicate, or have him take over the Syndicate helm and kick Hawkins out as leader. Chord is about to win the International Title to start his rise.</p><p> </p><p>

DeColt & Benson are about to lose the World Tag Team Titles, as a result of the division split. I’m going to have a Tag Championship for the Jr Heavyweights, so it makes sense despite the short reign. Leaning towards crowning the Enforcers of the Syndicate, Steven Parker & Bulldozer Smith, who have been doing excellent work. Either that or the brand new team of Human Arsenal & Atom Smasher. </p><p> </p><p>

Hawkins will eventually lose the World Title to Rocky Golden. The big man is due for another reign, but I’m going to stretch it out. By the time it’s over, I’ll decide if I want Jameson or Chord to challenge Golden at Total Mayhem 21, or perhaps another heel will poke their head up. </p><p> </p><p>

El Leon will likely become the first ever Jr Heavyweight Champ, but I’m also considering turning him into a cocky heel. I’m thinking Edge & Christian becoming obnoxious after winning their first tag titles, all the way back in 2000. He’s always been the beloved face, so mixing it up should be fun.</p><p> </p><p>

In the Women’s Division, it’s a slow journey towards the clear big time feud. The champ Sara Marie York versus the deadly assassin from across the seas, Fuyuko Higa. A-List are the queens of the tag division, but I’m having fun with fellow heels Tracy Brendon & Gorgon, who have excellent chemistry as a team. I’m struggling to build a successful face team besides Good Lookin’ Bunny, so that’s a work in progress. </p><p> </p><p>

To admit failure when it happens, I totally screwed up my last PPV, Psycho Circus, by not airing it on an actual PPV broadcast. I’m going to make up for it by having two PPVs in January. The usual PPV, Malice in Wonderland, and another simply called TCW Wrestler of the Year! A one night tournament to name the 2016 Wrestler of the Year! I considered doing it in December, so my mistake is making it a reality. Don’t need the money really, but I want to keep the finances steady. Rocky Golden is primed to win the tourney, the results to gel with the feud between him and Hawkins. Also going to use it to conclude feuds that will end with the male roster split.</p>

  18. <p>Alright folks, I just finished my massive tag team tournament in TCW (2016). As promised, here are the results.</p><p> </p><p>

Just a quick overview, the hot tag team of Art Reed & Joshua Taylor rose up the rankings fast. In the falls of 2016, they challenged the dominating tag team of The Syndicate’s Jay Chord & Edd Stone. Much to the delight of TCW fans, Reed & Taylor dethroned The Syndicate as Tag Champions.</p><p> </p><p>

Sadly, one week before the highly anticipated rematch, Taylor broke his ankle. Taylor & Reed were forced to vacate the Tag Team Titles. Thus, a 16 Tag Team Tournament was built to crown the new tag team champions. Many of the prominent tag teams along with new duos went to battle over a month’s time to see which two men will be left standing among the thirty-two.</p><p> </p><p>

That said, here we go!</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Opening Round!</span></strong></p><p><strong>

    East Bracket</strong></p><p>

Masked Cougar & “Thrill Seeker” Lee Rivera defeated Bryan Holmes & Brent Hill</p><p> </p><p>

The Syndicate (Jay Chord & Edd Stone) defeated Dazzling Dave Diamond & Matt Hocking</p><p> </p><p>

Rocky Golden & Art Reed defeated Beauty & Da Beast (“Fabulous” Eddie Chandler & American Buffalo)</p><p> </p><p>

The Gold Mine (Chance Fortune & Multimillonario) defeated Troy Tornado & Shane Nelson</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>West Bracket</strong></p><p>

The (Syndicate’s) Enforcers (Steven Parker & Bulldozer Brandon Smith) defeated The All Day Express (Darryl Devine & Bart Biggins)</p><p> </p><p>

Freddy Huggins & Casey Valentine defeated Mighty Mo & KP Avatar</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky DeColt & Benny Benson defeated Nate Johnson & Thom “Guide” Barrowman</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Second Round!</span></strong></p><p><strong>

    East Bracket</strong></p><p>

The Syndicate defeated Masked Cougar & Lee Rivera</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Semi-Finals!</span></strong></p><p><strong>

The Syndicate defeated Rocky Golden & Art Reed</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>West Bracket</strong></p><p>

Ricky DeColt & Benny Benson defeated The Enforcers</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Both Golden & Bulldozer interfered in each other’s match, setting up a huge behemoth versus behemoth match. 98 Rating! Woo Hoo!</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Finals of The TCW World Tag Team Championship Tournament!</span></strong></p><p>

Ricky DeColt & Benny Benson defeated The Syndicate the <strong>NEW!</strong> TCW World Tag Team Champions! Another 98 Rating! Yay!</p><p> </p><p>

With all that done, I’m setting up a 5 on 5 Cage Wars to round out 2016. The Syndicate will not stop interfering in each other’s matches, so TCW Commish Ross Henry is putting them all in the same match with their biggest rivals! (Eddie Peak, Rocky Golden, etc.) Guaranteed to be fun!</p>

  19. <p>Forgot to post this earlier, but here is the tournament that crowned my first ever TCW Women's Tag Team Champions. (October 2016)</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Opening Round</span></strong></p><p>

Good Lookin' Bunny (Kathleen Goodlooks & Jessica Bunny) defeated Foxxy Larue & Zoe Ammis </p><p> </p><p>

The A-List (Nadia Snow & Demelza Wade) defeat Gemmei Oonishi & Mystery Pink</p><p> </p><p>

Paige Croft & Alexis (Lee) Littlefeather defeated Hell Cat & Purple Viper</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Semi Finals</span></strong></p><p>

Good Lookin' Bunny defeated Shiori Jippensha & Tomoko Nagatsuka</p><p> </p><p>

    The A-List defeated Paige Croft & Alexis Littlefeather</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Finals!</span></strong></p><p>

The A-List defeated Good Lookin' Bunny to become the <strong>FIRST EVER</strong> TCW Women's Tag Team Champions!</p><p> </p><p>

I have a 16 Team Tournament going on right now for the vacant TCW World Tag Team Titles. Joshua Taylor & Art Reed had to vacate the titles after Taylor broke his ankle. I'll post the full results when its finished. Until next time!</p>

  20. <p>Joshua Taylor & Art Reed hit the ground running as the hottest tag team in TCW. Excellent Chemistry! In only two months of teaming, Taylor & Reed raced up the tag rankings and defeated the dominant champs, The Syndicate's Jay Chord & Edd Stone.</p><p> </p><p>

Annnnnddd Joshua Taylor breaks his ankle just days before the big tag team rematch. Oooofffff. Big time downer.</p><p> </p><p>

Only good thing is that I can now build an awesome tournament bracket to crown new champions.</p>

  21. <p>Just finished my 16 Women Tournament to crowd the first ever TCW Women’s Champion!...or at least as far as my game goes! Here are the results! (September 2016)</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Opening Round</span></strong></p><p>

    <strong>East Bracket</strong></p><p>

    Jaime Quine def. Nadia Snow</p><p>

    Tracy Brendon def. Paige Croft</p><p>

Sara Marie York def. Cherry Bomb</p><p>

Demelza Wade def. Jessica Bunny</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>West Bracket</strong></p><p>

    Suzanne Brazzle def. Zoe Ammis</p><p>

    Shiori Jippensha def. Alexis Littlefeather</p><p>

    Joanne Rodriguez def. Gemmei Oonishi</p><p>

Katherine Goodlooks def. Tomoko Nagatsuka</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Unfortunately, Joanne Rodriguez suffered a Medium Concussion during a tag team match in between tournament rounds. Therefore, J-Ro is forced out of the tournament. As far as the brackets go, Katherine Goodlooks was granted a pass into the Semi-Finals as a result of J-Ro’s injury. But, a sly Cherry Bomb talked herself into becoming J-Ro’s replacement by insulting Goodlooks repeatedly. Her courage questioned, Goodlooks accepted Cherry’s challenge, and Cherry was back in the tournament.</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">2nd Round</span></strong></p><p>

    <strong>East Bracket</strong></p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Finals</span></strong></p><p>

Sara Marie York defeats Cherry Bomb to become the FIRST EVER TCW Women’s Champion!</p><p> </p><p>

I’ll check back in soon with the results of the tourney that will crown the first ever TCW Women’s Tag Team Champions.</p>

  22. <p>Out of sheer curiosity, has anyone ever had success getting Marc DuBois off drugs? </p><p> </p><p>

I've sent him to rehab in two past games, only for him to screw up about a month later. And here I go again, thinking maybe third time's the charm! <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Have no idea why I keep trying, especially cause DuBois is just a good not great talent. I guess it's just the challenge of trying to make it work.</p>

  23. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="lr10540" data-cite="lr10540" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>You could have Chord take over the stable right out from under Wolf and turn Wolf. That kind of seems like something a Chord would do. Then he rebrands it something more fitting for whatever direction you'd take his character. </div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I was literally considering this the other day. Wolf definitely works better as a face. Funny you mention the stable Evolution, because I know in a past game where I also revived the Syndicate I had Cornell kick Hawkins out much like HHH kicked out Randy Orton. Cornell felt the heat of what Hawkins was becoming, a big time superstar.</p><p> </p><p> Plus I always like to have another big time face main eventer next to Rocky Golden. I'm not a fan of Rocky Golden being my clear cut #1 face as far as match ratings go. Marketing wise, sure, Rocky is money. But, I never seem to get a great match out of Rocky unless I match him up with someone like Wolf, and even then it feels like a 50/50 chance I can get a B+ or better. Maybe it's just my luck, but it seems like every TCW game I ever played I'm waiting for Rocky's performance stats to improve, and they never really do. If it wasn't for his star quality, I'd never really consider Rocky higher than a stable enforcer.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="sabataged" data-cite="sabataged" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>In my old TCW game I made it to 2018 and bought out 21st. I then took Tommy Cornell and Edward Cornell. I recreated the Syndicate with Tommy Cornell, Edward Cornell, Roger Cage and Greg Gauge. Greg and Edward took the role of the machines, Tommy as the lead dog, and Roger as the mid card. Wolf Hawkins was my top babyface at the time. I remember I had a big 4v4 war games style blow off to the feud with Wolf Hawkins, Matthew Keith, and some tag team that I want to say was Ernest Youngman/Logan Wolfsbaine.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Every time Cornell's name pops up on my news feed, all I can think is man...I can't wait until the game says his contract is expiring with 21CW. I could easily see Cornell returning to TCW. Maybe it appears he'll rejoin Syndicate upon return. But in truth Cornell is back to destroy his own creation, whether its act of rectifying his past wrong doings, or just because he is insulted that Wolf would dare try to take over the legacy he built.</p><p> </p><p> I don't know, maybe I should start a new diary on here, at the very least start a thread where I post my PPV results so I'm not crowding this page. Got a vacation week off from work starting Saturday. I'll consider it then! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  24. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="lr10540" data-cite="lr10540" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Chaos Theory is such a great tag name. <p> </p><p> Who's all in your Syndicate and how did you reform them?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Unfortunately I can't take credit for Chaos Theory. It was one of the options offered on the name generator in the game. Usually, I take one of those suggestions and mold it into my own (i.e. All Day Express with Devine & Biggins), but Chaos Theory just fit right with Anderson & Tornado. Sadly, it won't last much longer, because I'm disbanding Anderson & Tornado due to Troy's declining stats since the start of the saved game. Anderson at this point is a vastly better midcarder. </p><p> </p><p> Right now, The Syndicate is Wolf Hawkins, Jay Chord, & Edd Stone. I'll probably be editing it soon, because Chord is becoming too good to remain a follower. At the very least, I'm going to put him in the International Title picture. I've been wanting to include a 4th man anyway, but just haven't decided yet. </p><p> </p><p> So the TCW history in general is that RDJ & Joey Minnesota defeated The Syndicate (Cornell & Hawkins) to disband the stable. At the beginning of my saved game, Hawkins builds this trio and begins to run havok in TCW, with RDJ being the focal victim. Hawkins offers RDJ an opportunity. A one on one match. If RDJ wins, the trio will never work together again. If Hawkins wins, Wolf earns the right to revive the Syndicate name, as he's determined to carry on the legacy his mentor Tommy Cornell started. Needless to say, Hawkins wins, and The Syndicate now lives once again. </p><p> </p><p> Clearly, I'm having a lot of fun with this saved game. If I had time, I'd do another diary. For now, though, I'll stick with posting my PPVs.</p>
