  1. Just finished WWF Summerslam 1991. Here are the results!

Strike Force defeated The Professionals (Tully Blanchard & Dean Malenko). A close encounter, Rick Martel surprises Malenko with a Sunset Flip for the W. (77)

Ric Flair defeated Kerry Von Erich in his WWF PPV Debut. Classic Flair here. Focus on the knee, lock on the Figure Four, get the Submission victory. (80)

In a 1991 King of the Ring Finals rematch, Mr. Perfect defeated Steve Williams. Perfect wins again, but this time manages to do so cleanly. Post-match, Perfect calls for a WWF Heavyweight Title match! (94)

In Six Man Tag Action, Law & Order (Sgt. Slaughter, Big Boss Man, & The Mountie) defeated Octagon & The Guerrero Brothers (Hector & Eddie). Slaughter got the pinfall for his team after Boss Man knocked Hector out cold with the trusty night stick. (88)

Ted DiBiase defeated Jerry Lawler. DiBiase reversed the Piledriver into a roll up, and the referee counted to three without ever seeing DiBiase’s feet on the ropes! (91)

The Ultimate Warrior & The Undertaker battled to a Double Disqualification. The match got out of hand quickly, and the referee eventually threw the match out when weapons got involved. That didn’t stop the war, as the locker room had to clear to separate these two behemoths. (83)

Jake Roberts defeated Shawn Michaels to RETAIN the WWF Intercontinental Championship. It looked like there was going to be a changing of the guard here. Michaels, WWF’s hottest rising star, controlled the majority of the match. But all it took was one DDT out of nowhere to leave Michaels face down and out cold! 1,2,3, The Snake retains! (95!)

The Diamond Studs (Rick Rude & Razor Ramon) defeated The Hart Foundation to become the NEW WWF Tag Team Champions! Rude & Ramon spoil the one year anniversary of the Harts winning the tag titles, thanks to the interference of some mysterious woman (Woman?!). She blinds Neidhart with some type of spray substance, allowing Rude to hit the Rude Awakening for the 3! (90)

In what was dubbed the “Mega Finale,” Randy Savage defeated Hulk Hogan to RETAIN the WWF Heavyweight Championship. During the match, Ric Flair would make his way to the ring with his own chair and take a seat. Just when it looked like Hogan was going to put Savage away with the big Leg Drop, Flair would strike Hogan in the back with the chair! The referee never sees it, having previously been knocked down! Savage has no idea what happened, but that doesn’t stop him from going to the top rope and hitting the Flying Elbow! 1,2,3, Savage wins the Mega Finale! Savage celebrates with the gold, as Flair walks away with a devious grin! (99!)

    Final Show Rating: 97

Post-Match, we go backstage to Gene Okerlund, who is standing by with WWF Owner Vince McMahon. McMahon announces that with Team Hulkamania’s victory, Hulk Hogan will receive his desired rematch versus the Macho King. The rematch will be for the WWF Title, and it will be at Summerslam 1991!</p>

  3. Here we go again with my 1991 Rising Tides game, this time coming to you from Wrestlemania VII! Or, as I entitled the huge event, Wrestlemania: The Mega Rematch!

Just a quick background, I’m in the midst of rebuilding the WWF roster, especially the midcard. Pushing out the old, less talented guys and replacing them with younger, quality guys. Particularly, I want to establish a better tag division. I plan on having my roster looking significantly different by Summerslam ’91.

Also, you’ll see some thrown together tag teams. Well, that’s because of my plethora of failed drug tests (Hard Drugs & Pain Killers) and injuries). I’ve had plenty of them!

    Pre-Show

The Guerrero Brothers (Hector & Eddie) defeat Brooklyn Brawler & Mark Rocco. (51)

Haku wins a 20 Man Battle Royal. (58)

    Main Show

In a Six Man Tag Team Contest, Road Warrior Animal, Tito Santana, & Shawn Michaels defeated Paul Roma & The Powers & Pain. The finish came when Santana hit Roma with the Flying Forearm. (73)

Oh boy, this match. First off, both Road Warrior Hawk & Marty Jannetty are both in rehab after failing drug tests (Hard Drugs & Pain Killers). Animal began teaming with WWF newcomer Nikita Koloff in the midst of his feud with the Powers of Pain. Meanwhile, Tito Santana & Shawn Michaels united, as both had their issues with Power & Glory. Thus, two tag team matches were set for Mania.

Or so I thought! In the week leading up to Mania, both Nikita Koloff & Hercules Hernandez got injured! So, I just threw up my arms and tossed both tag matches together and made a Six Man Tag. Ta Dah!

Jim Duggan defeated Brian Pillman after hitting the Three Point Stance Clothesline. Pillman was out for revenge for his partner Steve Austin, who was blinded(?) after accidentally being hit in the eye by Duggan’s 2X4. Eyepatch and all, Austin attempted to interfere to help Pillman, but the attempt backfired, setting up Duggan to get the win! (67)

Jerry Lawler defeated Rick Martel. The Heenan Family has been a thorn in Lawler’s side ever since The King rejected Bobby Heenan’s offer to join the stable. Particularly, the newest member to the family, Rick Martel. Lawler finally gets some sweet satisfaction, as he plants Martel with the Piledriver for the 1,2,3. Post-Match, Heenan is so disgusted with Martel that he leaves the arena without his latest family member! (77)

The Nasty Boys defeat Bob Backlund & Greg Valentine. The two cagey veterans keep up with the rowdy young team, but they don’t consider Jimmy Hart at ringside. That leads to their downfall, and to the Trip to Nastyville for the 3 count. (79)

The Undertaker defeats Terry Funk. Funk made a surprise return to WWF, answering Paul Bearer’s “Grave Challenge” for Wrestlemania VII. Alas, Funk cannot bring Taker’s undefeated streak to an end. A timely thrust to the throat leads to the Tombstone Piledriver and the 1,2,3. (77)

Ricky Steamboat defeats Ted DiBiase. One of the hottest feuds in WWF, Steamboat gets some revenge after their first encounter, when DiBiase came away with the cloudy victory. Steamboat keeps DiBiase down for the 3 after a beautiful Cross Body from the top rope. (97!)

Steve Williams defeats King Kong Bundy. Williams already had one win over Bundy, a count out victory. That loss didn’t leave a good taste with Bundy, and it led to Bundy assaulting Williams during a Heenan Family. This time, Williams puts Bundy down for the three count, cementing his spot as a rising star in WWF. (78)

Law & Order (Sgt. Slaughter & Big Boss Man) defeated Jimmy Snuka & Kamala. It looked like the wild savages were finally going to get some revenge on their long time rivals, but The Mountie would interfere, assaulting Kamala with the shock stick! This would allow Slaughter to lock on the Cobra Clutch for the victory! It looks like the duo of Law & Order might possibly be a trio now! (81)

The Ultimate Warrior defeated Razor Ramon via Disqualfication. The masked man who had helped Randy Savage defeat Warrior for the WWF Title turned out to be undefeated newcomer Razor Ramon. Ever since losing the gold, Warrior has been on an absolute rampage, so we all knew what to expect here! Facing such a crazed madman, Ramon would get himself DQ’ed by attacking Warrior with a steel chair. Warrior would recover and send Ramon fleeing after a melee. This is clearly far from over! (82)

Jake Roberts defeats Mr. Perfect to become the NEW WWF Intercontinental Champion! In a tag team contest, The Snake planted Perfect with the DDT for the 1,2,3. The question was now, could he do it one-on-one with the IC Gold on the line? The answer? Yes! Perfect controlled most of the match and became overconfident, leading to the DDT out of nowhere! Roberts would celebrate his first ever WWF Title victory with Damien, while Perfect laid out cold in the middle of the ring! (99!!)

The Hart Foundation defeated The Natural Disasters to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship! Jimmy Hart’s continues to be desperate to prove he is the man that made Hart Foundation a successful tag team. The Nasty Boys failed to prove his point, so he created the Natural Disasters, turning Tugboat into Typhoon to team with Earthquake. The mammoth duo would terrorize the Tag Champs for a month, leading to this title match! Well, size isn’t always the answer, as Bret & Anvil overcome the behemoths to retain the gold! Once more, Jimmy Hart has to watch his former team celebrate in victory! (82)

In the Main Event of Wrestlemania VII, Randy Savage defeats Hulk Hogan to retain the WWF Heavyweight Championship! The Mega Rematch is everything it is meant to be, including Hogan coming out to the ring with Savage’s former manager, Miss Elizabeth! Once again proving to be the two best wrestlers in the world, it comes down to the dirty tactics of the Macho King. Hogan kicks out when Savage hits him with Sensational Sherri’s loaded purse, but when Savage launches himself from the top rope and clocks Hogan with the royal scepter? Even the Hulkster cannot get up from that! Dirty tactics or not, Savage gains himself some revenge from Wrestlemania V! (100!!!)

    Overall PPV Score: 97!

That’s all folks! Maybe I’ll post my King of the Ring show if I’m satisfied with my roster. Otherwise, I guess the next stop is Summerslam ’91!

  4. <p>I decided to play one of the few 90s Real World mods that I haven’t checked out, 1991 – Rising Storm. Just finished up my first month and the 1991 Royal Rumble, and figured I’d post my card. Enjoy!</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">1991 Royal Rumble</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Undertaker & The Powers of Pain defeat Ricky Steamboat, Road Warrior Animal & “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan</strong></p><p>

Ted DiBiase was scheduled to team with the newly reunited Barbarian & Warlord, but the Million Dollar Man claimed he was not medically cleared, and made a handsome donation to the Funeral Parlor to have the undefeated Undertaker take his place! <em>Miraculously,</em> DiBiase would recover in enough time to compete in the Royal Rumble later on in the evening!</p><p> </p><p>

DiBiase would even get involved in the match, distracting rival Ricky Steamboat when The Dragon was on a hot streak. DiBiase got decked by Steamboat as a result, but the distraction allowed Undertaker to hit The Dragon with a Tombstone Piledriver to gain the victory! (75)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Road Warrior Hawk was replaced by Jim Duggan after he failed a Drug Test (Painkillers).</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>Razor Ramon defeats Tugboat</strong></p><p>

The hottest newcomer currently in WWF, Razor passes the tough test known as Tugboat and remains undefeated. He’s unable to lift Tugboat up for the patented Razor’s Edge, but manages to put the big guy away with a Flying Clothesline from the top rope. (55)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“The King” Jerry Lawler defeats Haku by DQ</strong></p><p>

Bobby Heenan would interrupt Lawler’s debut interview at the start of January, setting this all up. Thinking The King would most definitely accept Heenan’s invitation to join his faction family, Heenan was appalled when Lawler not only rejected the invite, but insulted the Weasal errr Brain in the process.</p><p> </p><p>

Heenan has been making Lawler’s hell ever since, leading to this match. When Lawler hit Haku with his patented Piledriver, Heenan would reveal one more trick up his sleeve. “The Model” Rick Martel would appear and assault Lawler, locking him into his Boston Crab and refused to let go! After officials finally broke Lawler free, Martel would depart with the Heenan and Haku. Lawler might not have joined the Heenan Family, but it sure does look like Heenan has found a new client! (74)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Hart Foundation defeat The Nasty Boys to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship</strong></p><p>

An old rivalry renewed, Jimmy Hart is jealous of the success of the 2-Time Tag Team Champions, and he is out to prove that HE is the reason why the Hart Foundation are considered the best tag team in the world! Fast forward a couple weeks, and Hart’s latest team The Nasty Boys would defeat The Rockers to become #1 Contenders to the Tag Team Titles!</p><p> </p><p>

Despite Jimmy Hart’s best efforts (aka interference), The Hitman & The Anvil prove once again why they stand atop of the tag team mountain. Knobbs gets hit with the Hart Attack, and it’s 1-2-3 for the Hart Foundation. (79)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mr. Perfect defeats Jake “The Snake” Roberts by Count Out to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship</strong></p><p>

Mr. Perfect & Bobby Heenan would do their best to dodge the challenge of The Snake, claiming Roberts was not deserving of an IC Title shot. But after Roberts teamed up with The Ultimate Warrior to defeat Perfect & Randy Savage in a tag team contest, WWF Owner Vince McMahon would grant Roberts his title match!</p><p> </p><p>

Late in the match, the fight spilled out to the floor. Roberts laid in a beating all over ringside as Earl Hebner counted away. Perfect snuck back into the ring in the hopes to escape the assault. When Roberts attempted to get back into the ring before the ten count, Bobby Heenan would grab onto The Snake’s leg, out of the referee’s view as Earl Hebner’s count reached ten! Roberts would plead his case, but the decision was final!</p><p> </p><p>

Roberts would get some revenge, as the Brain received a well deserved beatdown from the Snake. Roberts attempted to even give Heenan a close up interaction with Damien, but Perfect would help Heenan escape before that could happen! (81)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Hulk Hogan Wins The 1991 Royal Rumble Match</strong></p><p>

Sometimes you cannot change history, as Hulkamania runs wild all over the Royal Rumble for the second straight year. The story leading up to the Rumble was the feud between Hulk Hogan & Earthquake, and it all comes down to those two men. Quake would miss his patented Earthquake Splash, allowing Hogan to Hulk Up and eventually toss the big man over the top rope and to the floor!</p><p> </p><p>

Hogan celebrated with the crowd, knowing that he has a date at Wrestlemania with the WWF Heavyweight Champion! (76)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Final Four: Hogan, Earthquake, Jake Roberts, Big Boss Man</em></p><p><em>

    Most Eliminations: Ted DiBiase</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Macho King” Randy Savage defeats The Ultimate Warrior to become the NEW WWF Heavyweight Champion</strong></p><p>

What a travesty! One of the best title matches every seen in WWF is ruined by some masked man! After being named #1 Contender to Warrior’s Heavyweight Title by Vince McMahon, the Macho King just couldn’t keep Warrior down for a 3. Warrior would begin to beat Savage from pillar to post, but in the process would accidentally throw Savage into Referee Earl Hebner! </p><p> </p><p>

As Warrior prevented to lift Savage into the Gorilla Press, some masked individual would hit the ring and strike Warrior in the ribs with a steel chair! The masked man would then stand over Warrior and drive the edge of the chair into the champion’s ribs three more times! The masked man would then disappear with the referee never having a clue! Savage would recover, head to the top rope, and connect with the Flying Elbow! 1-2-3, Randy Savage is now a 2-Time WWF Heavyweight Champion! (92)</p><p> </p><p>

A rematch is now set up for Savage & Warrior, and Vince McMahon has put the rematch in a Steel Cage to avoid any further interference! </p><p> </p><p>

That’s it for now! I’ll post again when it’s Wrestlemania time!</p>

  5. <p>Just hit the 18 month mark (thru June 2017) in my Cornellverse created company, 5 Star Wrestling. Just hit National after starting at low Cult, so I'm starting to expand the roster. A female roster has debuted, while the male roster has been split into Heavyweights and Cruiserweights. </p><p> </p><p>

Best way to explain this game is me having fun with the Cornellverse for (possibly) the last time before the next TEW game comes out. Playing by my own company rules, stealing a few PPV names and gimmick matches from ol' WCW. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">5SW Heavyweight Champion</span></strong></p><p><strong>

    Jay Chord</strong></p><p>

<em>2X, Defeated Nicolas Lopez, 5SW No More Heroes (PPV), May 2017</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">5SW Television Champion</span></strong></p><p><strong>

    Mr. Lucha</strong></p><p>

<em>Defeated Angel De Mexico, 5SW Prime Time (TV), May 2017</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">5SW Cruiserweight Champion</span></strong></p><p><strong>

    Whippy The Clown</strong></p><p>

<em>Won Inaugural Tournament, 5SW No More Heroes (PPV), May 2017</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">5SW Women's Champion</span></strong></p><p><strong>

    Suzanne Brazzle</strong></p><p>

<em>Won Inaugural Tournament, 5SW Lethal Lottery (PPV), June 2017</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">5SW Tag Team Champions</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Licensed 2 Thrill (Davis Wayne Newton & Jamie Atherton)</strong></p><p>

<em>Defeated Jack Avatar & Donte Dunn, 5SW Wrestle Fest 2017 (PPV), March 2017</em></p>

  6. Playing a cornellverse game with my created company, 5 Star Wrestling. Time to celebrate, I just hit National!

I’m fighting that itch to go overboard, ya know, expand the company by any means possible. I’ve done that before and suffered the consequences financially.

That said, first thing I did was split my roster into Heavyweights and Cruiserweights, thus starting a tournament to crown the first 5SW Cruiserweight Champion. I bolstered the roster with a few new names, but it was pretty solid already as is. I plan on giving the crown to Whippy The Clown, who has gone full on Heel Doink in my game. Despite being 40, Whippy has improved more than I ever seen in any game I’ve played, and I’m going to award him.

But really, long term, I’m giving it to the heel wrestler to develop face Masked Cougar and Frankie Perez as legit stars for 5SW. Perez, in particular, I’m going to have him snap from the antics of Whippy. Thus, Perez turns to his dark persona…Kill Switch!

So that’s what I’ve done since moving to National. From there, I have a 3 step process. Starting with Step 1, I’ll move forward depending how financially solid the company is. No need to rush!

Step 1: (Currently Working On) Building a Developmental Farm. My main roster is pretty stout right now, but a large number of my top talent are in their late thirties and early forties. So, I decided I would work on this first.

Step 2: Create a Women’s Division. I have been absolutely fighting the urge to do this for awhile. For some reason in this saved game, a lot of talent female wrestlers have not been re-signed by bigger companies and are currently unemployed. It’s odd, I’ve never seen that many before. So, I’m looking forward to getting started here.

Step 3: Create a 2nd A Show. Hey, these ladies and gentlemen are going to need the time to show how talented they are!

So there we are! Let’s see how it goes! I’m heading into 5SW’s next PPV, No More Heroes, with a major headliner. In a big time return match, beloved veteran Nicolas Lopez will defend his Heavyweight Title against former champion Jay Chord, leader of the heel stable Dynasty! Lopez just hit his decline and is also a cruiserweight, so there’s two clues as to what will likely happen….

  7. <p>Just finished up with my created company’s biggest show of the year, <strong>5 Star Wrestling’s Wrestle Fest </strong> in March 2017. It turns out to be my best show yet, with three 90 rated matches! </p><p> </p><p>

    Anywho, here’s the show!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Masked Cougar & Atom Smasher defeat Whippy The Clown & Chess Maniac.</strong> <em>A rubber match to start WF17, Cougar & Smasher gain revenge against the Demented Duo of 5SW. Afterwards, much to the dismay of the crowd, Cougar & Smasher announce they are disbanding to focus on their singles careers. The crowd applauds as Cougar & Smasher hug in the ring.</em> (75)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Silver Tiger defeats Donnie J.</strong> <em>Tiger rebounds impressively after a feud ending loss to Art Reed, as the veteran Donnie falls short to Phil Vibert’s prized client. Tiger remains one of the top competitors in 5SW!</em> (71, Boooo Awful Chemistry)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Fro Sure & Princeton Pryce defeat 8th Street Mafia.</strong> <em>Fro & Pryce gain some redemption after losing in their first encounter against Sayeed Ali & Mobster. Two of the hottest prospects in 5SW, this is easily the biggest win for Fro & Pryce yet.</em> (78)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mr. Lucha defeats Kirk Jameson.</strong> <em>A feud built around two men determined to become 5SW Heavyweight Champion, it has become quite personal in the process. Usually a light hearted and playful guy, Lucha revealed an intense side during this feud, and it led to him winning the rematch between these two main eventers. It’s clear this feud is far from over, though!</em> (91!)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>El Mitico & Spencer Spade defeat The Expendables</strong>. <em>Another tag team rubber match, Mitico & Spade claim their spot at the top of the tag team divison by once again defeating former champions, Frankie Perez & Nelson Callum.</em> (80)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ricky DeColt defeats Roger Cage in a Street Fight.</strong> <em>A rematch five months in the making, Cage sought to gain sweet revenge against the man who cost him the 5SW Heavyweight Championship. Revealing once more a potential alliance between the three, the team of Davis Wayne Newton & Jamie Atherton attempted to interfere for DeColt. Cage thwarted the interference, but it was a good enough distraction to allow DeColt to put Cage through a table with the DeColt 45!</em> (93, MOTN!)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Art Reed & Bulldozer Smith defeated Mighty Mo & Primus Allen.</strong> <em>Now aligned with Primus Allen, Mighty Mo was determined to take out former partner, Bulldozer Smith. But after they ambushed both Smith and Art Reed, Bulldozer and Art created an alliance to gain some revenge. Their tag team might not be for long, but Reed and Smith get their revenge at WF17!</em> (79)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angel De Mexico defeats Thom Barrowman in a Steel Cage to RETAIN the 5SW Television Championship!</strong> <em>An absolute blood feud, it all started when De Mexico accidentally injured Barrowman’s shoulder (kayfabe) in a tag team match. Barrowman would brutally attack De Mexico in his return, leading to Angel suffering from injured ribs for nearly two months now (thanks to repeated attack by Thom). When these two men agreed to a rematch, 5SW Commissioner Hannah Potter instantly put the match inside a Steel Cage. De Mexico would come away the victor, winning a brawl at the top of the cage and knocking Barrowman all the way to the mat. De Mexico climbed out of the cage and gladly accepted his TV Title at ringside.</em> (84)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Davis Wayne Newton & Jamie Atherton defeat The Gold Standard to become NEW 5SW Tag Team Champions!</strong> <em>The third attempt is apparently the charm, as Newton & Atherton finally pry away the tag gold from the blue chipper team of Jack Avatar & Donte Dunn. It is not without controversy, though. As Dunn attempted to climb to the top rope, Atherton clocked with some foreign object that was tucked away in his tights. Not seen by the referee, it allowed Newton to hit a groggy Dunn with the Fisherman’s Suplex for the win! Gold Standard's first title reign ends after five months.</em> (79)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Nicolas Lopez defeats Jay Chord to become the NEW 5SW Heavyweight Champion!</strong> <em>Once one of the most hated 5SW wrestlers to now one of the most beloved, Lopez takes his place atop the mountain. When Lopez was found beaten backstage and later diagnosed with a (real) broken arm, Chord and his running mate Ricky DeColt were accused of orchestrating the assault. Chord denied the accusation, but seeing that Lopez and Chord had been feuding for months and Nicholas was the biggest threat to his title, nobody believed Jay. After Jay Chord won the 2017 Tournament of Champions in February, 5SW Commish Hannah Potter awarded Chord not only with his trophy but news of his opponent at 5SW Wrestle Fest. Receiving news that he would be cleared by WF2017, Potter named Lopez the #1 Contender to Chord’s title!</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Chord would attack Lopez leading up to WF2017, hoping to cause a setback. The attack was so bad that Hannah Potter made Lopez sign an injury waiver if he wished to compete at WF2017. In the end, the injury would not stop Lopez from fulfilling his destiny. One of the first locker room leaders in 5SW, Lopez toppled the face of 5SW to achieve one of the biggest wins of his twenty-four year career. Chord's first title reign ends after three months.</em> (90!)</p><p> </p><p>

As far as aftermath goes? Jay Chord will be regaining the gold soon. I just wanted to throw a bone to Lopez before he eventually hits his decline, the dude deserved it. And what d’ya know? He hit his decline right after the PPV. Go figure!</p>

  8. <p>Just finished the first year of my latest game. I created a company named <strong>5 Star Wrestling</strong>, starting just above the Cult line with just enough cash to get me by. I’m still at Cult level after one year, thanks to a dreadful economy and wrestling industry. But I’m making cash now, and I project to hit National by the end of 2017! </p><p> </p><p>

I’m just going all out with this game, knowing TEW 2020 is around the corner. I’m serious about this game but I’m still having fun with it at the same time. You’ll probably figure that out by how many WCW PPV names I use for my own shows! </p><p> </p><p>

Here’s an overview of 5SW’s first year and the current state of the roster:</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Main Event</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Current 5SW Heavyweight Champion: Jay Chord</span></strong></p><p>

<strong>Roger Cage</strong> won the inaugural tournament to become the first 5SW Heavyweight Champion, and proceeded to reign over 5SW for the company’s first twelve months. Leading the trio known as Greatness Incorporated (w/ Frankie Perez & Nelson Callum), Cage quickly became the face of 5SW. </p><p> </p><p>

The arrogant champion that the fans loved to hate, Cage would progressively turn face at the end of 2016. He would break up Greatness Inc. after Perez & Callum lost the 5SW Tag Team Titles, stating he had no need for “dead weight.” Part of the reason that the crowd was warming up to Cage was his rival Ricky DeColt, who was becoming Bret Hart 1997. A talented star with a rich dynasty to follow, DeColt’s complaining about Cage’s shady tactics and lack of opportunities would turn the crowd against him. Cage welcomed the opportunity to call DeColt a whiney baby, and the crowd ate it all up.</p><p> </p><p>

Cage’s title reign would finally end in December at Christmas Chaos. In a Fatal Four Way, after Ricky DeColt and Nicolas Lopez were eliminated, Jay Chord would pin Cage to win the championship. It would be DeColt who would return to the ring to attack Cage, thus setting Chord up to hit his Cradle Piledriver for the win. </p><p> </p><p>

Heated rivals for a long time in 2016, suddenly Ricky DeColt and Jay Chord find themselves on the same parallel. Two talented stars who demand respect because of their blood lineage. There now appears to be an alliance between these two men, which means trouble for anyone who dares challenge Chord for the Heavyweight Gold. </p><p> </p><p>

<em>Top Contenders: Cage, DeColt, Kirk Jameson, Nicolas Lopez, Mr. Lucha</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Midcard</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Current 5SW Television Champion: Angel De Mexico</span></strong></p><p>

<strong>Kirk Jameson</strong> would win two Fatal Four Way matches to become the inaugural 5SW Television Champion, and would dominate over the midcard well into the summer of 2016. The exact opposite of Roger Cage, Jameson would let his wrestling do the talking rather than his mouth. </p><p> </p><p>

In August at 5SW’s Bash at the Beach, <strong>Jamie Atherton</strong> would be the man to finally end Jameson’s TV Title reign. Atherton would use a low blow to set up the victory. In the rematch, unbeknownst to the referee, Atherton would knock Jameson out cold with an unprotected turnbuckle. The losses would make Jameson completely snap and even get him suspended for destroying 5SW property and attacking officials. John “Nemesis” Campbell would eventually take Jameson under his wing, despite Campbell being one of Jameson’s victims. Seeing Kirk’s potential, Campbell has since guided Jameson right up into the main event.</p><p> </p><p>

Atherton’s reign wouldn’t last as long as Jameson’s, because he would run into the masked man known as Angel De Mexico. I have never seen De Mexico’s stats progress like I have in this game, and his star quality got a boost when he improved his muscular build. So I’m just running with it right now, giving De Mexico a push like I’ve never done before!</p><p> </p><p>

De Mexico would dethrone Atherton at 5SW World War 3, then win the rematch (Ladder Match) one month later at Christmas Chaos. For now, De Mexico is the man standing tall above the midcard division. But, there are plenty of men ready to challenge him for the gold!</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Top Contenders: Atherton, Art Reed, Silver Tiger, Thom (Guide) Barrowman, Davis Wayne Newton</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Tag Teams</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Current 5SW Tag Team Champions: The Gold Standard (Jack Avatar & Donte Dunn)</span></strong></p><p>

<strong>Art Reed & Jimmy Cox</strong> would win the inaugural tournament to become the first ever 5SW Tag Champs, but then Cox would fall into decline about three minutes later. Two months later at 5SW Wrestle Fest, <strong>Greatness Inc. (Frankie Perez & Nelson Callum)</strong> would dethrone Reed & Cox. </p><p> </p><p>

Right along with their stable leader Roger Cage, Perez & Callum dominated the tag team division throughout the spring and summer of 2016. Their reign would finally come to an end due to a major upset, as they were defeated by the underdog team of Jack Avatar & Donte Dunn at 5SW Halloween Havoc in October. </p><p> </p><p>

Considered the can’t miss blue chippers of 5SW, The Gold Standard continue to surprise everyone. Teams keep lining up, thinking they can topple the young duo, but Avatar & Dunn keep on surprising the world! Either the wrestling world will have to eventually take The Gold Standard seriously, or Avatar & Dunn’s luck will eventually run out!</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Top Contenders: Frankie Perez & Nelson Callum (now named The Expendables)</em></p><p><em>

    Masked Cougar & Atom Smasher</em></p><p><em>

The Bizarro Duo (Whippy The Clown & Molokai Milk)</em></p><p><em>

The Wrecking Crew (Bulldozer Smith & Mighty Mo)</em></p><p><em>

8th Street Mafia (Sayeed Ali, Mobstar, Rajah)</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Other 2016 Notable Accomplishments</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">5SW Tag Team Raffle</span></strong></p><p>

    <strong>2016 Winners: Jay Chord & Jamie Atherton</strong></p><p>

<em>An eight tag team tournament where all sixteen competitors were randomly slotted into the tournament.</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">5SW Fall Brawl Ultimate Challenge</span></strong></p><p>

    <strong>2016 Winner: Ricky DeColt</strong></p><p>

<em>A six man, thirty minute scramble match. DeColt would receive a 5SW Heavyweight Title Match as a result, but would lose to Roger Cage.</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">5SW World War 3 Battle Royal</span></strong></p><p>

    <strong>2016 Winner: Nicolas Lopez</strong></p><p>

<em>You guessed it! A sixty man, three ring battle royal! As the winner, Lopez received a 5SW Heavyweight Title Match against Roger Cage...IMMEDIATELY!</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Unfortunately for Nicolas, his rival Jay Chord would interfere and cost Lopez his title match. Chord didn't take it kindly that Lopez eliminated him from the WW3 Battle Royal!</em></p>

  9. <p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Stars Of Raw 67</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

    Dillard’s Arena (Western Australia)</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

    15,000 in a Sellout Attendance! </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

    Week 4, May, 2016</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Frogue Element defeated Luke Steele. With his star quality now at 94, push Frogue Element to the moon!!!</p><p> </p><p>

Samoan Machine defeated Molokai Milk. Milk might be a powerful enigma, but it was nap time when Machine locked in the Unbreakable Sleeper. </p><p> </p><p>

Captain Wrestling II & Loxley Robbins defeated Dynasty (Rahmel Goode & Maurice Jackson). Captain pinned Jackson after hitting the Australian Slam. Post-Match, things got heated when Goode & Jackson began to argue and shove. In a surprising twist, fellow Dynasty member Luke Steele attacked Jackson from behind! Steele & Goode began to beat down their own stable mate! Jackson might need to find new friends! </p><p> </p><p>

Devilfish defeated Artemis Eyre-Rochester. Devilfish, the latest newbie getting a push!</p><p> </p><p>

In a RAW Quest Championship Match, challenger Echo defeated champion Cole Taylor to become the <strong>4-TIME</strong> RAW Quest Champion! Echo reversed a roll up by Taylor into one of his one, and got the three on Cole with a handful of tights! A disgusted Taylor was forced to watch post-match as Echo celebrated with the gold. </p><p> </p><p>

Halloween Knight defeated Montgomery Croft. In a battle of heels, Knight got the win and continued to roll while moving his way up the RAW ladder. </p><p> </p><p>

In a RAW Tag Team Championship Match, champions The Next Big Things (Nicky Gilbert & Rod Sullivan) defeated The Melbourne Blondes (Blake Belushi & Rick Stantz) and Quiz Master & Spiffy Stan Standish in a Triple Threat to retain their titles! The finish came when Gilbert pinned Stantz after NBT hit their finisher, the Over-Cast. NBT bring their 4th reign as RAW Tag Team Champions to an impressive six months! </p><p> </p><p>

In a rubber match, winner take all, RAW Television Champion Swoop McCarthy defeated Kerry Wayne in a Ladder Match to retain his championship. Much to the surprise of everyone, Swoop lived up to his promise that no member of his stable Dynasty would interfere. Swoop did it all on his own, and brings his feud with Kerry Wayne to a close.</p>

  10. <p>I just got back into TEW again taking a break to play some WMMA. I wanted to do something new, so I went ahead and took a trip to Australia! That’s right, I started a game with Revolution Australian Wrestling! My first game with RAW!</p><p> </p><p>

I tell ya what, it’s definitely interesting because it really does feel like I’m out there on a island. Yes, there’s plenty of talent on the roster, but there’s not many options right away to improve what I have. It doesn’t help that the Economy and Wrestling Industry is poor and falling in the game that I started. So while it might sound like a crash course, it has definitely been fun. RAW has an interesting roster but clearly flawed. They have a bunch of wrestlers with plenty of star quality but lack in-ring expertise, so it’s been interesting the roster to enhance the positives. Out of the ring, the announcers and referees are not very good, so I’ve been working to dig out a diamond from the rough.</p><p> </p><p>

No surprise at all, I’ve built my company and storylines around Swoop McCarthy. I turned him heel to feud with Kerry Wayne and eventually put the RAW TV Title on Swoop. To bolster Swoop as “the man”, I gave him a stable named called Dynasty (Luke Steele, Rahmel Goode, Maurice Jackson). Long term, I’ll eventually turn him back face and make into a beloved uberstar. </p><p> </p><p>

One of my personal favorites is Echo, who is a standout in a roster that is lacking in-ring quality. Echo is nothing spectacular, but is good all around. I’m about to put the RAW Quest Title on him and give a hefty reign as the top midcard guy in the company. </p><p> </p><p>

One guy who has improved immensely since I started the game was Frogue Element. He continues to improve in-ring, but he also changed his body tone and bumped his star quality up to 94. So right now, I’m building him up to become a challenger to Swoop by running through Dynasty. Who knows? If he continues to improve, he might surpass Swoop and become the face of RAW!</p>

  11. <p>I'm thrilled, because I was just able to sign Edd Stone to a pretty generic contract without a fight from TCW. I guess that tells you how much TCW is struggling in my CGC game. Pretty much, the only star they have left is Aaron Andrews.</p><p> </p><p>

Perfect timing, too, because I was just thinking I needed a Cruiserweight for my Jay Chord-led stable called The True Born (hint hint, it's a Legacy rip off). And there ya go, Edd just falls in my hands.</p><p> </p><p>

    Now...if only Freddy Huggins was available for negotiations... <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  12. <p>Bigpapa42's gimmick list for PPVs has encouraged me to try to do more, while not just copying his list. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

For instance, I'm heading towards CGC's Last Man Standing (September 2017). I got the obvious LMS match headlining, which will be the second encounter between the DeColt Brothers, Jack & Ricky. Spoiler alert, Alex returns from the vicious beatdown Ricky delivered to his big brother to help Jack win. More of a distraction than interference by Alex, Alex can't bring himself to attack his little brother despite what happened. Not yet, at least! </p><p> </p><p>

But just to spice things up, I'm setting up a 10 Man Mayhem Match, where in which the winner will challenge CGC World Heavyweight Champion Jay Chord later on in the night. Last man standing gets the title shot! </p><p> </p><p>

Kirk Jameson will be getting the opportunity, but sadly, longtime rival Roger Cage will be costing him his opportunity after Jameson made Cage tap to win the Mayhem Match. Cage, by the way, just won back the Canadian Title from Jameson in a Triple Threat without ever pinning Jameson. </p><p> </p><p>

Roger Cage is pretty much my Miz. Not really excellent at anything, but great at literally everything. He's the king of my midcard division. If I keep on playing this game, he's going to have like 10 Canadian Title reigns. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Jon The GOAT" data-cite="Jon The GOAT" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41392" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Why is Christian Price aligning himself with Ricky DeColt if he's bitter about the DeColts? Wouldn't he want to take both of them out? I hope he turns his back on Ricky as soon as they've dealt with Jack .-. </div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Well, their alliance is pretty much an "enemy of my enemy" type situation, or at least that's the type of approach I've attempted. Price believes the DeColt family has hindered his career, that they've refused to give him opportunities because his last name is different. </p><p> </p><p> Meanwhile, Ricky is tired of being in Jack's (and Alex's) shadow. Ricky's heel turn wasn't abrupt and out of nowhere, months of issues between Jack & Ricky finally led to a boiling point, where in which it seemed (to Ricky) that Alex always took Jack's side. Ricky has convinced himself that Alex & Jack can't stand the idea of Ricky actually becoming the best, most popular wrestler in the family. </p><p> </p><p> Ricky & Christian are by no means friends, strictly business partners with the same(?) goal. And you're right, it's an alliance that is clearly not meant to last. Their egos and bitterness won't allow it.</p>
  14. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Jon The GOAT" data-cite="Jon The GOAT" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41392" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Christian Price is now the Star Lord to Jack DeColt's Captain America. He's a face but he's prone to not following the rules and doing his own thing, especially since he's tired of the DeColt shadow.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Just to spice things up, one of the first things I did in my game was turn Christian Price into my #1 heel. It brewed for weeks after Alex DeColt declined his request for a title shot against Jack DeColt, respectfully telling him that needed to "earn it" with a few big wins.</p><p> </p><p> Fast forward a bit, and Jack DeColt & Price win a Tag Main Event where DeColt gets the pinfall after Price hits his finisher on Dan DaLay. Price snaps and attacks DeColt. Thus Price becomes "Enough is Enough" Owen Hart, just a angry, bitter man who has convinced himself that the DeColts are trying to keep him from being the star that he deserves to be. </p><p> </p><p> And that was my major feud for the first handful of months in my game!</p><p> </p><p> Fast forward over a year later, and I'm in the midst of the DeColt Brotherly Feud, Jack vs Ricky. Ricky is bitter against his brothers too, though with a bit more arrogance (his theme is "How You Like Me Now" by The Heavy). </p><p> </p><p> In a surprise twist, Ricky aligns himself with Price to overthrow his brother Jack as the face of CGC, declaring himself the true gem of the DeColt family. I'm actually thinking of putting Ricky over in the end, especially with Jack hitting 40, but this feud isn't finishing anytime soon. </p><p> </p><p> Admittedly, Price's addition is just a way to extend the Brotherly Feud, but Christian has remained a solid Upper Midcard guy for me. Always in the Canadian Title picture, and receives the occasional World Title shot. Stats stalled for a bit, but when I briefly made him a tag team guy? It's like the game character knew, and he started showing improvement again! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

More Hell in a Cell than Elimination Chamber</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I've actually gone a pretty similar route with these PPVs, and am planning to go further now that I'm running two A shows to expand feuds. The obvious ones were Chaos in the Cage, Last Man Standing, and Chamber of Horrors. </p><p> </p><p> Did consider doing a big battle royal of sorts for Survival of the Fittest the first time, and will probably will do it next time now that I have a heftier roster. </p><p> </p><p> An idea of Luck of the Draw, this could easily be like a Cyber Sunday/Las Vegas Raw type of show. You don't know the stips until before the match!</p>
  16. <p>Just to comment on the popularity discussion, I just finished my first 18 months (as mentioned on another topic), and it can be a little tedious to build up your pop in other countries. Unless you create a new broadcasting network, your options are limited in Canada at Cult-early National level. As a result, money can max out.</p><p> </p><p>

For a couple months, I attempted to boost my USA popularity by using a lesser Canadian PPV Broadcast that also aired in USA, but I made less money during those two months by a pretty significant margin. </p><p> </p><p>

After that, I focused on just getting my Canada popularity high enough to intrigue a broadcasting network that airs in various countries. Just like that, in August 2017, Reverie (subscription) is interested in my tv shows, and I'm transitioning them over. They air everywhere but Australia, which is a big win. </p><p> </p><p>

It's interesting to see how a lot of people play CGC similar to what I do. A lot of the same indy names keep popping up. It's just what you have to do I guess, because the CGC roster in January '16 is a complete wasteland. </p><p> </p><p>

There is only a handful of roster members from January '16 left in my August '17 game, and I just lost another one. USPW just signed Gargantuan to a massive contract, and I purposely made them bump their offer more and more. His subpar stats have appear to maxed out in this game, and he got flabby so his star quality dropped to 86. Have fun in USPW, buddy! </p><p> </p><p>

I signed Wolf Hawkins, and go figure, he got hurt in his last few weeks in TCW. Paying him for 5 months for nothing! But when he comes back, I'm making him my new figurehead in CGC over Jack DeColt. He became a ripped middleweight and his star quality bumped to 98. </p><p> </p><p>

I considered making Sammy Bach my figurehead, but then Wolf became available shortly after Sammy. Also, Sammy is 39, eight years older than Wolf.</p>

  17. This is my third update on my CGC game, now with a year and a half in the record books (July 2017). I’ll try not to ramble on too long because I just posted about DeColt Wrestle Festival recently.

CGC continues to rise in popularity, arguably bigger than they ever were before their decline. The DeColt Company has become a powerhouse, and the battle with SWF, USPW, & NOTBW has truly begun. Peformance-wise, CGC is outpacing NOTBW each month in Canada, but is behind USPW (for now!).

There are two wrestlers that I will always pay up for no matter what. They are Sammy Bach & Wolf Hawkins, my fav wrestlers. Well, I recently signed Sammy Bach, who was currently the TCW World Champion, and he successfully debuted against Christian Price at my latest PPV, In The Company Of Legends. And…well…guess who I’m currently in negotiations, one month later? That’s right! The Wolf Man! Poor TCW has been picked to the bone. All they got left star-wise is Aaron Andrews & Eddie Peak, and Peak is in decline.

Finance wise? My recent big signings and opening of a development territory has put me in the negatives, but nothing that progress cannot fix. As soon as I get in the positives again, I’m planning to create a second A-show, that way I can expand the Cruiserweight Division and also consider a Women’s Division.

Easily, my biggest feud currently is the DeColt Brothers Implosion. It’s been brewing for months after Ricky DeColt has lived in Jack DeColt’s shadow for years. The lack of opportunities for Ricky while Jack gets plenty. The insults from other competitors about being the “little brother.” It finally blew up when the DeColt Brothers challenged The Golden Gangstas for the Tag Team Titles. A miscue led to a collision between Jack & Ricky, and Ricky eventually being pinned. When Jack tries to help his brother, Ricky snapped and laid a beatdown on Jack that left the crowd speechless. Jack has disappeared for a month since, and a scowling Ricky is demanding respect from everyone, and now likes to call himself the “#1 DeColt.” When Alex DeColt attempted to call out his brother Ricky to talk, Ricky refused to answer the call out. Everyone is wondering now where this will go, and when will Jack return to confront his brother?

With that out of the way, here are my champions and an overview for each:

CGC World Heavyweight Champion: Jay Chord

Reign Began: CGC Rage in the Cage (March 2017) (Second Reign)

    4 Successful Title Defenses

The leader of the True Born has clearly become the #1 guy in CGC after defeating Jack DeColt at DeColt WrestleFestival. Chord has recently been feuding with new babyface Mr. Lucha, though Ricky DeColt has stuck his nose into the World Title picture during Jack DeColt’s disappearance from CGC. It led to a triple threat between Chord, Lucha, & Ricky DeColt at the recent PPV, which Chord came out successful.

Chord’s feud with Lucha continues on, but there are others waiting for their opportunity. It’s only a matter time before Chord has to deal with the likes of Sammy Bach, and even potentially Wolf Hawkins!

    CGC Canadian Champion: Kirk Jameson

Reign Began: CGC Luck of the Draw (February 2017)

    9 Successful Title Defenses

Jameson took the gold from long term champion Roger Cage, then successfully retained against Cage at WrestleFestival. He got stuck in between a feud between Bulldozer Smith & Davis Wayne Newton, and he himself would eventually feud with Newton. They would have their first one-on-one match at In The Company Of Legends, where Jameson just sneaked out with the win. Newton looked like he was about win, but his cockiness led to Jameson catching him with the Kirk Hold, forcing DWN to tap out. Clearly, this feud is far from over. The sky is the limit for Jameson’s CGC career.

    CGC Cruiserweight Champion: Mikey James

Reign Began: CGC Elimination (January 2017)

    7 Successful Title Defenses

James is the inaugural CW champion, as his cold blooded attitude and unlimited potential has kept him at the top. James has nearly cleared out the whole division, most recently completing his feud with Nicholas Lopez. He defeated Lopez the first time in tainted fashion, but there was no debating his decisive win in their rematch. Lopez now heads off to USPW now with a hefty 4 year contract (Sorry Nicky, I know you’re about to hit decline!).

Mainstream Hernandez & Randy B are the most clear top contenders for James next, as they are the only top CW stars who have not yet been defeated by the dominant champion.

CGC World Tag Team Champions: 4D (Donte Dunn & Daniel Drake)

Reign Began: In The Company Of Legends (June 2017) (Dunn’s 2nd Reign)

Dunn & Drake (aka Jack Avatar) just became the champs at the last show/PPV, ending the six month reign of The Golden Gangstas (Zeus Maxmillion & Sayeed Ali). CGC Commissioner Dawn Gemmell suggested Dunn & Drake team together because she believed both had immense potential, and they’ve been red hot ever since.

Clearly, a rematch with the Gangstas is in their near future, as they have to prove their title victory wasn’t a fluke. But the teams are lining up for an opportunity. In fact, The Impact Players (Joss Thompson & Spencer Spade) just won a triple threat to receive a future tag team title shot.

  18. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Dropkick" data-cite="Dropkick" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Impressive!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks bud.</p><p> </p><p> In an unfortunate turn of events, my computer crashed, corrupting my current game. Stupid windows update froze my aging computer. But I've lost one too many games in the past not to run a backup. Three backups actually, just in case. </p><p> </p><p> But I had to re-do Decolt WrestleFestival as a result. I was distracted with the PPV aftermath that I had yet to make a new backup. </p><p> </p><p> Only positive was that some of the matches actually improved the second time around. Ricky DeColt/Mr. Lucha fell to a 93, while Kirk Jameson/Roger Cage became MOTN with a 96. Biggest noticeable improvement was the Cruiserweight Scramble Match, which bumped up from a 78 to a 86.</p>
  19. I couldn’t help but offer up the biggest show of the year for my CGC game, The DeColt WrestleFestival 2017. I decided to make DWF into a single show rather than the whole weekend, and in the process make it CGC’s Wrestlemania. Super duper important!

If you’ve seen my recent posts, you could probably guess the main event. Does the king retain his throne? Or does the new stallion take his place at the top of the mountain? The final battle between Jack DeColt & Jay Chord takes place in the main event, in battle for the CGC World Heavyweight Championship…in 3 Stages of Hell!

Just a quick note, CGC returned to National level just two weeks prior to DWF! Honestly, I thought it was going to be poetic with DWF putting CGC over the hump, but hey, I’ll take it! After so many years of seemingly dying away, CGC is back on the national spotlight!

The match ratings weren’t as great as I hoped, but the event itself was filled with plenty of epic storylines. Anyway, here are the results of DeColt WrestleFest 2017!

    Non-Title Matches

    Ross Henry vs Gargantuan

Henry stood up to Gargantuan when the mammoth tried to bully around smaller opponents, and these two men have been duking it out ever since. Henry manages to overcome the size advantage, and wipes Gargantuan with a Flying Shoulder Block from the top rope to get the win. (64)

Mainstream Hernandez, Masked Cougar & Mario Da Silva vs The Aristocrats

Representing the CGC Cruiserweight Division, Cougar & Da Silva has struggled with the numbers game in their feud with the Aristocrats (Ozzie Golden, La Estrella, & Justin Sensitive). Well, the numbers game had been evened up with CGC newcomer Mainstream Hernandez getting involved in the feud! Hernandez leads his team to victory in this Six Man Tag, as Hernandez hits the Apparition #14 on Sensitive for the 3. (78)

    Christian Price vs Bradford Peverell

A tag team star up to now, Peverell aims to break through against Price, who is a bitter mainstay on the CGC who thinks he never gets the respect he deserves. Peverell brought the fight in the show open, but Price was just too much for him this time, as Christian puts the up and comer down with the Price Check. (79)

Bulldozer Smith vs Davis Wayne Newton

Two of the bigger up and comers on the CGC roster, this is a rematch from a previous encounter where Bulldozer pinned Newton (and put DWN’s manager Floyd Goldworthy in a neck brace after a Bulldozer Bomb!). Newton responded by trying to put Bulldozer on the shelf by attacking his knee with a chair. Bulldozer came into this match still limping and paid the price. As he attempted to hit a Bulldozer Bomb, Floyd Goldworthy pulled out the hurt leg under Smith, setting Newton up to crash down on top of Bulldozer! Newton got the 3…as Goldworthy held down that injured leg! (81)

    Table Elimination Match!

Donte Dunn & Daniel Drake vs The True Born

As these two teams prove themselves in the Tag Division, thus this feud has brewed and gotten ugly. After The True Born (Ash Campbell & Greg Gauge) put Dunn through a table, this match was made upon Dunn’s return from injury.

True Born would put Daniel Drake (Jack Avatar) through a table first, but Dunn would rally back. First, he would thwart a True Born double team and back toss Campbell through a table. Then, after the two battled on the top rope, Dunn would put Gauge through a table with a Superplex! Dunn gets big time revenge and the win for his team! (86)

    Street Fight!

    Ricky DeColt vs Mr. Lucha

Two of the top wrestlers in CGC, their pursuit of the CGC World Heavyweight Title has led to this blood feud. Both men have a win over each other, both men has cost each other opportunities, and Mr. Lucha has mocked the DeColt family name every chance he has gotten. Mr. Lucha crossed the line when he attacked Ricky’s brother, CGC Owner Alex DeColt, and it’s been war ever since.

In a stunning turn of events, Alex DeColt would get involved in the hopes to help his brother Ricky, who was suffering from a shoulder injury after landing awkwardly on a successful moonsault. Alex would attempt to hit Lucha in the head with a steel chair…but hit his brother Ricky instead! Lucha would take full advantage, and hit both brothers with a Third Strike before pinning Ricky for the win! As a result of this win, Lucha receives a CGC World Heavyweight Title match, which he was promised to him if he defeated Ricky in a rubber match.

Can you say a DeColt Brother Feud? Yes sir, this is only the start!!!

Match of the Night! 97! WOOOOOOOO!

    CGC Title Matches!

    CGC World Tag Team Championship!

The Golden Gangstas ( C ) vs Fro Sure & Island Boy Apollo vs Joss Thompson & Spencer Spade

The Champs Zeus Maxmillion & Sayeed Ali got themselves stuck in the middle of the heated feud between Fro/Apollo & Thompson/Spade. Both teams had received title matches against the Gangstas, and both cost each other their opportunities. After the second match led to a crazy three team brawl, Comissioner Dawn Gemmell made this Triple Threat for the gold.

Perhaps Fro/Apollo & Thompson/Spade were too busy continuing their feud, because the Champs took advantage and came out of the triple threat victorious. The Gangstas hit their tag finisher, The Shock Treatment (Spinebuster/Flying Knee Combo), on Island Boy Apollo to secure victory and continue their five month title reign. (77)

    CGC Cruiserweight Championship!

    6 Man Scramble Match!

Mikey James ( C ) vs Nicholas Lopez vs Randy B vs Frankie Perez vs Jamie Atherton vs Extraordinario Jr.

Most people would be irate, but Mikey James welcomed the challenge when CGC Commissioner Dawn Gemmell announced the Cruiserweight Scramble Match in an attempt to make DWF that much more special. James is out to prove he is the best Cruiserweight in the world, and he grabbed hold of this opportunity. His title reign looked to be in jeopardy after several “title changes,” but James gained the final pinfall less than a minute left after hitting Frankie Perez with the Flying Scythe Kick. James would depart from ringside, allowing the clock to run out and secure his title reign through another defense! (78)

    CGC Canadian Championship!

    Ladder Match!

Kirk Jameson ( C ) vs Roger Cage

The culmination of this lengthy feud, The Smooth One cashes in his one on one rematch as he looks to regain the Canadian gold. It’s not the epic encounter that their first two matches were (I guess they don’t like ladders), but these men go all out to wear the gold. At the end of the match, they duke it out on the ladder until Jameson sends Cage tumbling after a big headbutt…and Cage’s leg gets caught on the ladder, and he’s stuck hanging upside down! Cage frantically tries to break free, but has to watch as Jameson retrieves the gold! Jameson remains CGC Canadian Champion! (87)

    THE MAIN EVENT!

    CGC World Heavyweight Championship!

    3 Stages of Hell!

Jay Chord ( C ) vs Jack DeColt

Back in June 2016, Jack DeColt had to vacate the CGC World Title due to a broken leg. True Born leader Jay Chord would win the vacant title and wear it for six months before a returning DeColt finally received a one on one match with Chord. DeColt would win and become a 7 Time CGC Champion. Two months later, Chord would regain the gold in a Steel Cage after escaping the structure first. Chord is now the 2 Time Champion, but there is one thing he has never done. He has never pinned DeColt’s shoulders to the mat! It would appear he would need to do so to come out of 3 Stages of Hell still champion!

Or will he? Chord wins the 1st Fall, a Standard Singles Match, after hitting DeColt with his Cradle Piledriver on the floor! Unable to move a motionless DeColt back into the ring, Chord takes the Countout and moves on to the next fall.

DeColt recovers and ends up taking the Second Fall, an Aussie Rules Match! Chord tries to hit his Cradle Piledriver on a steel chair, but DeColt reverses and back tosses Chord onto the chair. DeColt locks on the End of Days and forces Chord to tap!

It all comes down to the final fall, as a Steel Cage is lowered down onto the ring! It gets brutal, as both men eventually wear the crimson mask. DeColt catches Chord as Jay nearly escapes the cage, and Powerbombs the champ all the way to the match! DeColt covers for the pin, but Chord somehow manages to barely get his shoulder up! DeColt tries to lock in the End of Days again, but Chord rolls out of the attempt. As both men jump to their feud, DeColt walks right into Chord’s Cradle Piledriver! 1,2,3! Chord has pinned DeColt, and secured his spot at the top of the CGC mountain! (88)

That does it for DeColt WrestleFestival 2017. What is next for CGC World Champion Jay Chord? Who knows? Perhaps a Canadian Champion by the name of Kirk Jameson? Maybe a fresh babyfaced Mr. Lucha? Hey, who knows!

I've always been a fan of both Canadian Animals, so they would be a welcomed addition!</p><p> </p><p> A quick update, I had to rearrange of a bunch of storylines already due to not one but two poor chemistry notifications from house shows! Lucky me! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  21. <p>Another six months are history in my first CGC game with TEW2016, as the calendar switches over to 2017. Things have done a complete 180 in one year. October and November actually showed some profit for the first time when ticket and PPV sales took a big bump. The company lost money in December, but that’s only because I bolstered the roster with more talent and improved production and merchandise. It should only be a month or two before I’m back in the green. Barring a drop in wrestling popularity in Canada, I’m projecting CGC to hit National by mid 2017, maybe earlier. The glory days are (almost) back!</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Main Event</span></strong></p><p><strong>

CGC World Heavyweight Champion: Jay Chord</strong></p><p>

    <em>1x, Reign Began June 2016, 8 Title Defenses</em></p><p>

Jack DeColt broke his leg in June 2016, forcing him to vacate the World Title. Forget about coaxing Chord into the World Title picture after signing him in April, Jay won the vacant title and has been the #1 guy ever since. Ricky DeColt replaced his brother in a lengthy feud with Jay, but could never take the gold away from Chord.</p><p> </p><p>

Chord leads his own stable known as the True Born, which includes Greg Gauge & Ash Campbell. Thinking they deserve everything due to their lineage, True Born has the talent to back up their claim. </p><p> </p><p>

After his finale with Ricky DeColt, in December, Chord was booked in the Chambers of Horrors Match, aka a better version of the Extreme Eliminator Chamber! It was revealed by CGC Owner Alex DeColt that one of the men vying for a spot in the Chamber would be his brother Jack, returned from injury! </p><p> </p><p>

Chord managed to sneak out of the chamber still as the champion (match included Chord, Jack & Ricky DeColt, Christian Price, Kirk Jameson, & Roger Cage). The Chamber match, however, was used only to propel the J DeColt – Chord feud that CGC fans have been waiting for. </p><p> </p><p>

Right now, I plan on having J DeColt regain the title, just to emphasize the idea that Chord never beat Jack for the gold originally. Chord will win the rematch, and then the rubber match as age forty is about the rear its head for DeColt. </p><p> </p><p>

Outside the title picture, I’ve been hoping to push Kirk Jameson as potential challenger, but he has hit a wall just about everywhere as far as talent improvement goes. While having 94 star quality, everything is else is good, not great. Even worse, his feud with Thom “Guide” Barrowman got dumped when Thom tore his Rotator Cuff (Barrowman was going to be in the CoH, and was replaced by Roger Cage the night of). I still have high hopes for Jameson, but for now I think I’m going to team him with my avatar, Daniel Drake, and allow the two to develop more together before pushing either as singles stars. My avatar is doing well, but still has a way to go. I need another solid face team anyway to challenge my tag champs, and potentially take the gold. </p><p> </p><p>

Ricky DeColt is kind of in “no man’s land” right now after failing to beat Jay Chord for the World Title. Eventually, I plan on doing the brotherly feud with Jack, but that won’t be for awhile.</p><p> </p><p>

Christian Price has been a mainstay in the main event throughout 2016, but his talents have also hit a wall, and he has only good star quality and entertainment skills. Now that I have a bunch of upcoming talent that are clearly going to be better if they keep improving, I’m going to slowly move him into the midcard and tag team division. Starting in January, he is going to be taking on a protégé by the name of Spencer Spade. </p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Midcard</span></strong></p><p>

    <strong>CGC Canadian Champion: Roger Cage</strong></p><p>

    <em>1x, Reign Began May 2016, 9 Title Defenses</em></p><p>

Cage has been the perfect midcard champion, putting over talents with foggy finishes, occasionally losing to the likes of Ricky DeColt, but always leaving with the gold. He just finished a lengthy feud with Buddy Garner, which included a MMA Cage Match where Cage tapped to the Garner Tendon Hold. Cage’s trusty lawyer, though, filed papers that forced Alex DeColt to make the special encounter a non-title match, due to it not being an “official” wrestling match! Cage would win their final encounter in December…in shady fashion! </p><p> </p><p>

Just like Jay Chord, though, Cage is due to drop the title after a lengthy reign. I’ve been undecided on who to reward with a title victory, but I think I’m leaning towards turning Mr. Lucha face and have him feud with Cage. Both have excellent entertainment skills, so it should be fun! Cage is pretty much my Miz at this point, he doesn’t have the star quality (right now) to be a top guy, but he is the perfect guy to always be vying for a Canadian Title shot. So, most likely, there will be another Canadian Title reign in his future! </p><p> </p><p>

The rest of my midcard is kinda foggy right now, but that’s a good thing because I’m in the process of building my own Cruiserweight Division! January 2017 will bring the start of a 16 man tournament to crown the first ever CGC Cruiserweight Champion! I even broke my rule of not battling top companies over talent, just to bring over Mikey James & Randy B (Bumfhole) to bolster the start of the division. For now, the Cruiserweights (Lightweights and lower) will only be separated as far as singles matches go. When CGC hits National and I can afford a larger roster, I’ll separate them all together, singles and tag teams. I haven’t officially decided on my first ever CW Champion, but its likely going to be Mikey James, Randy B, or Masked Cougar. Dark horse goes to Extraordinario Jr! </p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Tag Team Division</span></strong></p><p>

<strong>CGC World Tag Team Champions: The Golden Gangstas (Zeus Maxmillion & Sayeed Ali)</strong></p><p>

    <em>1x, Reign Began November 2016, 2 Title Defenses</em></p><p>

Maxmillion & Ali ended the 10 month reign of The Featured Attraction (Greg Black & Donte Dunn), their heated feud coming to an end in a well praised 2 out of 3 Falls match. Maxmillion & Ali were sinking as singles competitors as more talent came into CGC, so I decided to put the former rivals together. They rose to the top of the division fast. Together now, the Bronze God & East Side Assassin are the kings of the tag division.</p><p> </p><p>

As far as the former champs go, Greg Black is moving on to focus as a singles star in the Cruiserweight Division. Donte Dunn, meanwhile, will shortly find a new partner in Ross Henry, who is ready to be pushed after a year as a enhancement talent. </p><p> </p><p>

Right now, I’m mulling over the next top challenger. It will either be the beloved babyface team of Fro Sure & Extraordinario Jr., or the hard hitting team of Frankie Perez & Bradford Peverell, known as Excessive Contact. </p><p> </p><p>

    In random 2016 news…</p><p> </p><p>

TCW fell to Cult Size for the second time in '16 after a sex scandal involving “office juniors” was revealed (yikes!). </p><p> </p><p>

Whippy The Clown died at age 41 due to a “gardening accident”. </p><p> </p><p>

Yoshimi Mushashibo was the Wrestler of the Year, SOTBPW was Company of the Year, Muruyama & Ugaki were Tag Team of the Year. </p><p> </p><p>

Finally, my own CGC won Show of the Year (CGC Battle of Beyond, where Jay Chord vs Ricky DeColt scored a 98!).</p>

Needs to work on those entertainment skills for now!</p>
  23. <p>Any Suggestions for my CGC World Tag Team Champions, Greg Black & Donte Dunn? Black is the mentor of Dunn, and together they've been champs for nearly 7 months now. I figured it was about time they got a team name.</p><p> </p><p>

Trying to avoid the generic tag names, and well...a blatantly obvious "two black guys" tag team name. But I'm stumped on this one, nothing sounds good to me.</p><p> </p><p>

    Thanks for any thoughts!</p>

  24. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Bigpapa42" data-cite="Bigpapa42" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Nice save with CGC. <p> </p><p> Always been one of my favorite promotions in the Cverse. First promotion I connected with, way back on TEW 2007. They reminded me so much of Stampede Wrestling, which was my "local" promotion as a kid. </p><p> </p><p> CCG hasn't aged well. They feel similar to TCW in that regard. They need a talent influx and the AI isn't great with that, but its a fun challenge for the user. The Cverse provides plenty of young options to sign and build up.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm intrigued by the choices made with CGC in TEW 2016. Had I given CGC a try when the game first came out, I'd probably get annoyed and move on to playing as a different company, one with more potential. </p><p> </p><p> It makes me wonder why CGC was built with such a lack of hope and potential. Was it to challenge the player? Or simply prove what CGC's description details, which is Alex DeColt has driven the company into the ground. I mean, the roster is pure trash, and so I think its meant to challenge a player. Aside from the DeColts and a couple other names, there is no hope for CGC in January 2016. </p><p> </p><p> The one positive is that CGC starts with 5 million, which you definitely need to turn it around. Aside from a bit overflated roster, I've been pinching pennies, and I'm around 4.1 million right now at six months in. I'll prob be a bit over 3 million before I finally start making money.</p><p> </p><p> It also helps to know who are the best indy stars in TEW2016, which I have a good handle on after two years. There are plenty of guys in the indies that can help revive CGC, that is, if you're willing to put the time in.</p>
  25. <p>I just hit the six month mark in my first CGC game with TEW2016. Crazy to think how far CGC has sunk since recent games. I remember CGC being an awesome company to play as way back with TEW2005. But in 2016? Well, if I did a diary, I would call it “CGC: Saving The Sinking Ship.”</p><p> </p><p>

To save CGC, I pretty much had to reconstruct the roster by about 90%. I can hear Alex DeColt’s teeth grinding, as week by week I toss aside most of the roster he built. Just a bunch of declining talents and guys who don’t appear to be much of a talent to begin with. </p><p> </p><p>

To be honest, it kind of feels like I started a game with a self-created company, but that’s the only way I believe that CGC can be saved. Toss aside useless talent, bring in the best of the indy stars and steal away top talents when you can with minimal cost (i.e. TCW fell to Cult, so I’ve snatched some guys from them with written contracts, most notably Jay Chord). </p><p> </p><p>

After sixth months, CGC barely looks like the company it was in January. The company is still losing money monthly, but every month it’s less and less. My goal is to be in the positives by the end of 2016. It’s going to be close!</p><p> </p><p>

Roster size bounces back and forth around 45, but about a dozen or so are veterans I have on PPA contracts to job to up and coming talents. What I consider my “official” roster is about 30 guys currently. </p><p> </p><p>

Anywho, here is how my 3 divisions look after six months.</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Main Event</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Current CGC World Heavyweight Champion: Jay Chord</span></strong></p><p>

Soooo Jack DeColt broke his leg in May…yup. Out for 5 ½ months. He was about to feud with Mr. Lucha, who won a #1 Contendership Tourmament, defeating rival Thom Barrowman in the finals. Yup, that sucked big time. </p><p> </p><p>

The plan was to have Jay Chord feud with Ricky DeColt, put him over in a series of 3 matches, then set up Jack D verus Chord, where Jay would eventually win the title. So change of plans, Chord wins the vacant World Title in a Triple Threat (Ricky D, Lucha) at June’s PPV <em>In The Company of Legends</em>. </p><p> </p><p>

Soooo pretty much everything is backwards now! Chord is going to feud with Ricky over the World Title, and a couple other top face guys while Jack is away. Then we’re back to the original plan in five months. Can Jack come back and retrieve his throne? Or is Chord now the true king of CGC? </p><p> </p><p>

Prior to all this, Jack D feuded with Christian Price, who turned heel after growing tired of living in the DeColt shadow. The feud led to the DeColt Wrestle Festival, where Jack defeated Price in a Ladder Match. If need be, I’m leaving the door open to turn Price back to face if I need another major challenger for Chord in Jack’s absence. </p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Midcard</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Current CGC Canadian Champion: Roger Cage</span></strong></p><p>

The man I consider the perfect midcard champ…especially if his talent improvements hit a wall…Cage ended Zeus Maxmillion’s 4 ½ month reign at the May PPV <em>Code Red.</em> Cage would hit Zeus with a low blow before the Rage Cage to win the gold. In the rematch at <em>In The Company Of Legends</em>, Cage would get caught by the referee this time, and disqualified for yet another low blow. Maxmillion would recover and lay out Cage post-match, setting up a third and final match. </p><p> </p><p>

Maxmillion, by the way, defeated Blockbuster for the Canadian Title in mid January, right at the start of my game. Sorry Blockbuster, but you’re awful.</p><p> </p><p>

Outside the title picture, Kirk Jameson just finished a feud with Sayeed Ali, and will continue to climb up the roster. With all his talent and star quality, Jameson is destined to be challenging Chord or Jack DeColt for the World Title within a year’s time. </p><p> </p><p>

Sayeed Ali…by the way…botched a move that cause Jack DeColt’s broken leg. All the DeColts hate him now!</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Tag Team Division</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Current CGC Tag Team Champions: Greg Black & Donte Dunn</span></strong></p><p>

I put Black & Dunn together so Dunn had a mentor to help him improve, but also as a solid stopgap as I developed a legit tag team division. They defeated The Predators for the gold at January PPV <em>Elimination,</em> and have turned into a very dependable duo. Kirk Jameson replaced Greg Black for a month as champion as he recovered from injury, and the team kept rolling when Black returned. Now, I’m not necessarily sure who is going to take the gold from Black & Dunn, because they’re doing such a good job!</p><p> </p><p>

My top option right now is the Shade Gang, Bulldozer (Brandon) Smith & Jamie Atherton, who they’re currently feuding with. That was the plan, but Bulldozer is improving so fast, I don’t think I’ll have much choice but to push him as a singles star sooner rather than later! </p><p> </p><p>

I’ve been looking at giving Sayeed Ali a solid tag partner, but that hasn’t worked out just yet. Character wise, I refuse to pick just anyone to team with a Light Heavyweight Brawler from the streets. </p><p> </p><p>

Also thought of turning Zeus Maxmillion heel and teaming him with Ozzie Golden to make some hybrid Fashion Files – MNM type team. Also, I just want to give Golden a better partner than Antonio Del Veccio (who pretty much maxed out already). </p><p> </p><p>

Also at the top of the division are the following duos: </p><p>

The Ring Kings (Davis Wayne Newton & Billy Russell, w/ Phil Vibert as their mouthpiece)</p><p>

The Disposables (Joey Poison & Frankie Perez)</p><p>

High Style (Golden & Del Veccio)</p><p>

Masked Cougar & Black Leopard (Jack Avatar’s gimmick as he develops)</p><p> </p><p>

I’ll give another update when I hit January 2017!</p>
