1. Yea I would think # of appearances would simulate dates. I hope this expand to written contracts. Older and very popular workers would probably ask for this length.
 2.

Sometimes it lowered their price demands though..> "Not enough!" How about I guarantee you a sweet run with "X" Belt? Will that help? "Ok, sure!"

Yea it needs to be two sided. Otherwise it just seem like I’m just throwing money around until i hit the magic number. Everyone should come with what they want. The negotiation part is both sides meeting in the middle or common ground.

 3. I would love to see more clauses in contracts and the workers actually demand some of them. Years past, it really was up to the user to add those things into the contract.
 4. with that said, it will be interesting to see some of the advanced pretige feature from WMMA make it in TEW and make it relevant to wrestling.
 5. I love this! Also from reading this entry along with the others, seen like there will be more crowd interactions. It will be interesting to see if workers are slightly more motivated performing at a packed house vs a empty house. Similar to hot beds but not as much.
 6. I agree, the money area of this game needs some sort of update or revamp.
 7. Yea I would rather see a momentum swap rather than popularity swap. Just because he’s hanging up his boots doesn’t mean he’s not as popular.
 8.

Any financial or reputational penalty to having workers rested from house shows due to fatigue? They would probably have been advertised so a let down for the live crowd (depending on popularity).

Would add an extra dimension of strategy, do you protect reputation/cashflow by working your wrestlers when fatigued and risking injury. If not then of course I'm going to want them to rest every time.

I would think less names on house show, the less money you’ll generate. This way you’ll think twice about adding in a “no house shows” clause in contract negotiations just to get a lower price.

 9. Thinking about the ability to talk to workers I’m wondering if we’ll have the ability to talk someone into hanging up the boots to become a ref? And could we also send people to the performance center to gain referee stats?
 10. I feel like this is covered by road agent notes and match aims. In the example, that would be slow build with a open match road agent note. However I would love to see some sort of write up recap return to the game and that would be a good format to follow. I’m sure the community would help out with coming up with different flavor write ups so things won’t get repetitive.
 11.

Really? I kind of find it tedious to set opponents at house shows already. I'd hate to book the whole show...

I wouldn’t necessarily want to book a house show. Maybe special house shows but that is already doable in the game. For a normal house show loop, I wouldn’t mind selecting a group of workers who are scheduled to appear. Somewhat similar to EWR auto booker where you would select which workers will be on the show. The ability to select groups for different loops would be nice also. The ability to test out things like gimmicks, match ups and teams, selecting who will be on the loop and which loop would be a nice optional feauture for people who want to micromanage. Similar to having merchandise on auto or having the ability to micromanage it.

 12.

I like today's feature but i was also hoping that among the improvements for House Shows we would have the ability to look for more things between workers, test more stuff with workers, even live promos, etc.

This would definitely be welcome.

 13. Reading the entry today on the updates to house shows made me so pumped that I don’t even need coffee this morning! Been waiting house shows to act more realisticly and now we can even focus on a area to tour.
 14. Or even have workers request to work with certain people (TEW own way of calling out people like WMMA)
 15. I like the idea about the advertising considering WMMA have this feature and it’s far from being micromanaging. I feel like ticket pricing would be a little micromanaging unless Adam makes it really simple. Although I would love the ability to give out free tickets (or cheap tickets) to attract some new fans or try to fill the house.
 16. With performance centers, I know it says that we can send workers there but will we be able to also send a group of try outs to the facility and maybe unlock a level of scouting that way? Or maybe even send injured workers there to speed up a return? With the ability to send workers there to improve their sklls, it will be interesting to see if the lower stats can improve this year. (Heel/Face rating, Gimmick type ratings)
 17.

That's already a thing in 2016. You can use the replace button to remove one or both members of the title holders and when the game asks you if you want to continue the title reign, you click yes. The game won't create a new entry in the title history.

This is moreso a work around.

 18. Love today’s entry. Now only if we can set it so that the AI know that the royal rumble winner gets a title match at mania!
 19.

I imagine it'd be like EVOLVE using Fabian Aichner & The Street Profits. Workers only get so much time for shows on development so with this, it brings the option to farm workers out if you/the development fed don't have time for them at the point of booking.

Yea I look at it like a football team sending a player to a lower league team to get playing time instead of the reserve team or come in off the bench in sporadic games.

 20.

I really like the developments of company relationships. Sister relationships could provide an interesting dynamic -- the ability to send workers for development to a promotion that you don't own is going to be an interesting dynamic. It creates a more fluid game world that feels lived in -- which is something that I've always loved -- when the world feels lived in.

Do AI controlled companies initiate company relationships -- namely, can they/do they ask you to let them send you developmental workers? Or can they ask for you to send them talent? I love when I'm approached by AI companies for things, so I'd love it if they do.

This would be awesome!

 21.

I'd like to weigh in on this discussion, as it is close to something I've never been able to put into words.

When we talk about hardcore vs casual viewers I think we leave out another group that would probably be called casual, but not by definition of how we talk. I can use myself as an example of this since I haven't been watching as much as I used to.

I watched wrestling in the 70's really into it in the 80's, then around late 80's early 90's didn't watch it as much. What got me back into it was seeing Rey Mysterio doing his crazy moves (at the time) on a friends TV that was watching it. If not for the seriously great in ring wrestling on the same show I was watching, I wouldn't of got back into it at all. Never really cared about work ethics and such before, as in the 80's it was "bigger than life" wrestlers fighting giants, etc. The new guys caught my eye.. didn't know them at all.

Anyways, I really believe a wrestling program doing some serious athletics, be it spot monkeys, cruiserweight style matches, just great in ring wrestling, or even great mic work that you can't seem to change the channel until over. I think these things can catch a persons eye that wouldn't normally watch wrestling. It wouldn't matter to them if it was a big name or not.

I've never been able to explain how that could be emulated in a game though.

Whether its spot monkey stuff or slow pace technical wrestling, I think what you are describing comes down to quality which falls under show grade IMO.

 22.

I wonder how you would even find a way to accurately simulate the way a star is made in TEW. You can't really have a storyline or angle that bombs horribly or does amazingly well because of your input, they're just... as good as the workers you have involved in them because there's no potential for audience interaction. You don't really *create* stars, you just find someone with the skills to be one and then put them on TV until they become one by themselves.

I always thought that angles ratings shouldn’t be as predictable as they currently are. I would love to see the consistency rating effect all of a worker’s ratings outside of wrestling skills (in this case for angles, acting and mic) and even have a “agent” for angles (like a road agent for matches) to throw another variable into the formula. Some of the biggest stars were made by accident.

Also love today’s entry. That was fast! Thanks for listening.

 23.

And that was a massive failure that devastated the company for years. The whole idea of Star Quality making a product successful in wrestling is an outdated one rooted in the 1980s. It has no place in a game trying to simulate modern wrestling.

The Main roster of the WWE right now is far better then NXT star quality wise but it is noticeably less popular the NXT.

It's just an outdated idea. It'd be like playing Out OF The Park Baseball with pitchers who pitch nine innings every outing. The industry has evolved past that point and the game should reflect that.

Hence why it should be both. They sacrificed quality for star power and the star power wasn’t even big as what WWE had at that moment.

WWE is only less popular than NXT to hardcore fans lmao. There is no proof that points to having bigger names in a product being outdated. This idea is not exclusive to wrestling...If it was outdated than NJPW would have been able to make a bigger splash in the US market than what they currently have going on. ROH would be bigger than what it is. AEW wouldn’t invest big money on an aging vet...
