  1. End Of Fifth Year

2010 IS IN THE BOOKS... OUT OF SIGHT!

    http://i.imgur.com/UDP9M9c.jpg

2010 was a good year, we hit Small! And I got a B rated match in the final show of the year, not bad. I also won the Project X Prodigy title (finally, right?) but Brendon Idol returned after USPW let him go so I dropped it to him. He has programs lined up with Raphael, Frankie Dee and Joey Poison this year which will be exciting to book.

That said, I did apply for the booking position in a newly formed Lucha Libre promotion so we'll see what 2011 holds...

    End Of Year Rolls

2010: 16. "Chance to Train" You have been offered the chance to train with a Wrestling Legend. Gain +20 points to spend on any performance row stats. (Basics, Psychology, Safety, Consistency, Selling) - sound.

2009: 37. “Eeeehhhhhhhhhhh” or “It’s Not Arrogance If You Can Back It Up” You can choose to add 20 points to your Cool Performance rating OR Cocky Performance rating OR use a random number generator to score between 0 and 50, adding the number to either rating. - rolled 24, added to Cocky.

2008: 40. “I SMASH!!” or “I’m In My 20s, On The Internet And I Enjoy The WWE” You can choose to add 20 points to your Brute Performance rating OR Weird Performance rating OR use a random number generator to score between 0 and 50, adding the number to either rating. - rolled 36, added to Brute.

2007: 18. "Fists of Fury" You have devoted your holiday season to training in the ring +5 to your Brawling skill

2006: 49. "Where There’s A Will" One of your die hard fans has passed on bequeathing their worldly possessions to your promotion. Do you accept it or donate it to charity? Gain EITHER $56,609 or +5 Prestige. - didn't donate to charity, Project X was saved.

Wrestling is finally popular enough for Project X Wrestling to start gaining popularity so maybe we'll get out of Local this year! I still haven't given Jordan Joyce the title because Raphael and Marc Speed rake in B match performances and my third best wrestler, Lightning Lomas, is giving me consistent C+'s now. <span style="font-size:8px;">why aren't these guys signed?</span> I can't even touch that just yet so I am keeping the save fun with these guys and putting my user character in the secondary storylines.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

  5. <p>Charlotte vs. Sasha in some form or another has happened an astonishing 153 times. For the record, Trish vs. Lita only happened 75 times. Thanks to Casey Michael on Twitter for that one.</p><p> </p><p>

It's getting to the stage where they are going to wind up with an Asuka situation where the Champion has been elevated so far ahead of her contemporaries that the feuds will be mostly predictable and the next champion won't be worthy in the fans eyes. They are not doing enough to elevate other women whilst Charlotte and Sasha dominate the title scene.</p>

  6. <p>Hi Fleisch, I recently did these for Dean, feel free to add them to your picture pack. I can send you the higher res PNG files if you want them. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I would stick to one, it's the only way you'll stay in the black.</p>
  9. End Of Year 3

    http://i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q685/RynWlsn/endofthirdyear.jpg

Modest improvements with performance stats seeing the biggest rise. But it's a year where my user character and my promotion haven't exactly made great strides. Wrestling dropped to F- in the United States and the economy suffered before rising to E+ by the end of the year. This is starting to become a slog, I expected to be at least Small by now but even that feels like another year away.

Company Stats - Project X Wrestling

Project X Prodigy Champion: Raphael (21 Defences)

Project X Tag Classic Winners: Jason Thunder & Lightning Lomas

Project X Interim Champion: Frankie Dee (unified with Project X Prodigy title after Raphael returned from injury)

    Size: Local

    Popularity: F in Tri State

    Finances: $30,413

Best Match: Raphael defeated Frankie Dee at Project X: Return Of The King (B)

Project X Wrestlers In Power 500

    Raphael (#193)

From #316 in the previous year! He's great, far and away carrying the match quality of my company. Now 21 defences into a two year reign and showing no signs of slowing down despite a two month lay off with a broken arm, Raphael has unfortunately let success get into his head...

    Marc Speed (#268)

With Brendan Idol's departure, Marc Speed is now the firm number two in my company. After a three year heel run, he's starting to see the light and he has Raphael's title in his sights heading into 2008.

    Frankie Dee (#282)

In a show of faith, we crowned Dee the Interim Champion when Raphael broke his arm. Unfortunately, Dee couldn't dethrone the King and slipped back down the card. That said, he didn't rank in the Power 500 last year so to go from Unranked to #282 is a superb achievement and is only testament to his improvements throughout the year.

    Lightning Lomas (#328)

Lomas joined us at the start of the year and had a good one, losing only three of his fourteen matches. Despite winning our inaugural tag classic with Jason Thunder, he fell short contesting the big one against Raphael at Mistletoe Mayhem. Ranking #328 in your rookie year is honestly nothing to be scoffed at and I've been impressed with Lomas' consistent D+ match performances.

    Jordan Joyce (#351)

My user character spent the year doing little of note, especially since top heels Raphael and Marc Speed eclipse him completely. I like his tag team with Geoff Borne though and I think Vicious & Delicious might be the favourites heading into this year's Tag Classic.

    Geoff Borne (#357)

Despite strong performance stats, Geoff just can't quite figure out how to put that together with his in-ring skills. He gives me consistent D rated match performances but I have my doubts that he will ever rise up the card.

End of year roll: 40. “I SMASH!!” or “I’m In My 20s, On The Internet And I Enjoy The WWE” You can choose to add 20 points to your Brute Performance rating OR Weird Performance rating OR use a random number generator to score between 0 and 50, adding the number to either rating.

So I rolled 36 and I am adding that to my Brute Performance rating.

  10. <p>If one of the graphics people here is sitting around doing absolutely nothing and feels like making a logo for a wrestling promotion, I have a couple of requests for promotions that have formed in my game.</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>Victory Wrestling Group (VWG)</strong></p><p>

I'm thinking a gold colour scheme, a star, perhaps a luxurious feel? Typeface could be something art deco inspired, perhaps a didot like Bodoni? </p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>World Association of Wrestling (WAW)</strong></p><p>

A women's wrestling promotion so something glamourous, a magenta colour scheme? Maybe it could be written out in a light, handwritten typeface?</p>

  11. <p><span>http://i.imgur.com/ZZdWWeF.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

He's unhappy that he was fined for beating the booker up backstage. Jesus, imagine being that delusional.</p><p> </p><p>

Edit: He walked out the next day. He hasn't been the same since signing for USPW, the sellout. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="K-Nection" data-cite="K-Nection" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25170" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>TNA closing does McMahon no favors as he has learned in his WCW buyout. He needs to be finding a way for the TNAs and the ROHs to stay open.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> TNA has never, ever, not even for a single day been competition. WWE never even so much as made an attempt to counter-program when TNA went to Monday Nights. WWE's competition now is everything that is on television on Monday Night, not a Thursday Night television show that struggles to break the top 150 on cable and certainly not a wrestling promotion that's struggling to draw over 500 in its hottest market.</p>
  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Russelrules44" data-cite="Russelrules44" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I think this is WWE's way of bringing in smark fans and giving them their own show to play with and yet keeping the casual fans happy with the flagship show, which I find to be a very smart move on WWE's part. Needless to say, i'll be watching onward to see what happens next in the WWE universe.</div></blockquote><p> What even? Are you a WWE spokeperson? They're keeping the casuals <em>so happy</em> that they're all tuning out in their droves every week. >_> They make the show wrestling heavy because hardcore fans are all they have left watching this dumpster fire of a show.</p>
  14. <p>An average of 2.478 million viewers for RAW last night, down from 2.684 million viewers last week. With the presidential debate starting at 9PM, only approximately 450,000 viewers turned over. It might still be RAW's worst rating in history but it's certainly not as bad as expected. Wade Keller says it's a 1.75, with a 0.83 demo rating.</p><p> </p><p>

The real story here is that Monday Fight Football lost around 4 million viewers compared to last week and recorded it's worst rating yet. They lost around 30% of their viewers whereas RAW only lost around 9%.</p>
