Starting company is Project X Wrestling based in Tri State, USA. iDOL's logo for it is boss. And my owner is Bret Graveson which means I don't have to hire a referee and he's going to work for free anyway. Winner winner, discount chicken dinner? I did a RTG in 2013 and found making money was easy at such a low level. I was able to hire Davey Boy Smith Jr as a Local company somehow... I hear it's different in this one so I'll probably go bankrupt in the first year. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

  8.
That was a fantastic final show. I'm super happy it lived up to the hype and expectation that I had for it going in and thankfully it was much shorter than usual. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I'm delighted that you've put a lid on the two year story Beej and given it the send off that it needed. I know how difficult it's been for you at times but as others have said, the diary will live on as one of the greatest the board has ever seen and I just wanted to say thank you for sharing it with us.

  10.
Is Ranallo's announcing better than Michael Cole calling Beast In The East though? I'd say not and I saw an entire season of NJPW on AXS TV. Him and Barnett were great though, so I think maybe a great colour brings out the best in him. I haven't caught that much Smackdown but from what I have seen Ranallo makes the same mistakes that other main roster announcers make with pop culture references and metaphors that don't fit and cringeworthy phrases like this Tuesday's "Smackdown is indeed the Ambrose Asylum!". I like his sportscaster voice myself but I know of wrestling fans that detest it; apples and oranges I guess.

If it was me personally, I'd have him and Michael Cole at B with Cole one or two points ahead of him. Cole handles Raw and did a great job with JBL and Saxton in the booth, he deserves credit for that.

  11. The issue is that if that's the plan for Final Battle, they could wind up giving the title to a free agent or even having a free agent retain it. There are six ROH contracts up in December, they are the contracts of Jay Lethal, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole.

  16. Bayley is the right call for the moment, but long-term I wonder if bringing her up now will damage her. Because surely the direction for SummerSlam has to be Sasha vs. Charlotte, that's the golden goose they've kept locked away for a solid twelve months.

Where do you fit Bayley in this whole story? The only logical answer is that Bayley will work Dana Brooke to keep her occupied for Sasha. But that's a pre-show program at best, not exactly an exciting outcome for a much anticipated debut. I would say Triple Threat as SummerSlam but surely Bayley can't fight Sasha just a month after debuting as her friend. All that said, I am interested in seeing how Bayley fares on the main roster. I expect her to do great, but then again I expected Becky to really struggle when she got called up and she's flourished.

  17.
Here, we, go!

    War Games

Team WCW (Steve Austin, Lex Luger, Brian Pillman, Dustin Rhodes, and Ric Flair) vs. Team Kings of Wrestling (Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, “Sting”, Paul Orndorff, and Hollywood Hulk Hogan)

Will anyone turn on their team? Yes, Hogan will turn on KoW brother!

Will anyone advertised not be competing in the match? Dustin Rhodes. Unfinished business with Barry Windham.

Who will win the fall – remember, the winner is the WCW World champion! Steve Austin

Who will lose the fall? Roddy Piper

Who will start the match for Team WCW? Brian Pillman.

Who will start the match for Team KoW? Randy Savage.

Worth three points: Who is the masked Sting? I've gone back and forth on this... but it's Bret Hart and I'm sticking to it!

War Games is worth TEN points altogether!

    The Giant vs. Vader

Comments: I'm not saying he has to win, but it will take months of re-building to get The Giant back to where he needs to be should he lose this one.

    WCW United States Heavyweight Championship

Lord Steven Regal vs. Billy Kidman vs. Syxx vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.

Comments: If there's one criticism I have of your diary, it's that the US title has probably regressed from how important it seemed two years previous. Austin/Steamboat was almost a main event program. That said, Regal is a good Champion and I don't see him losing it to a Cruiserweight.

    WCW World Tag Team Championships

    Harlem Heat vs. The Outsiders

Comments: Keeping with my previous comment/prediction.

    Chain Match

The Chain Gang vs. The Road Warriors

Comments: This is a B-minus team taking on an A-plus team. Besides, Road Warriors have some mileage in them yet.

    Dungeon of Doom Gauntlet Match

King Puma vs. The Dungeon of Doom

    Comments: Packerman's boy. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

    Two on One Handicap Match

The Sting Army vs. Cactus Jack

Comments: Cactus is gonna whoop 'em, then skin 'em!

Owen Hart vs. Davey Boy Smith

Comments: I like the arrival of Davey Boy. I must admit, at first the new Horsemen seemed promising but it feels like Hart & Guerrero have been on auto-pilot these last few months (aside from Austin visiting Owen at the bar <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />). This story gives Owen something to do and gives him the valuable boost he needs.

    Harley Race vs. Devon Vyle

Comments: Just seems like the logical story here to be completely honest. Although I have to admit this seems like a big rub for Devon.

    WCW Worldwide pre-show:

Jeff Jarrett & California Kip vs. Diamond Dallas Page & Bam Bam Bigelow

Comments: Considering I've got KoW losing in the main event, let's foreshadow brighter fortunes by having them start the night off well.

    WCW Worldwide pre-show:

“Ice Man” Dean Malenko vs. Clay Douglas

    Comments: Coin flip.

    WCW Worldwide pre-show:

    WCW World Television Championship

Chris Jericho vs. 2 Cold Scorpio

Comments: This is Meng's title to take, but this match will be very good. Jericho has been a solid TV champion.

Tiebreaker Question: How long will the War Games match last? I closed my eyes and pressed random keys and I got 29:23.

Highest to the correct answer without going over will win in the event of a tie.

21 points to be had! Use your best luck to win!

  18.
Look who's managed to read a show within 24 hours! This guy!

Great show, business is really starting to pick up now. I loved Scott Hall being a heckler, he's totally the type of person that goes into business for himself and that's not the first time he's established that. I'm intrigued as to who his partner is going be when he meets Harlem Heat. Is Big Kev making the jump? <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> It'd make sense since Harlem Heat were the team The Outsiders dethroned in real life, if my memory serves me correctly.

What I like most leading into Bash as the Beach is that there's so much mystery. You have these pieces and you can line them up and move them as you please. Hogan: what side is he on? KoW Sting: who is he? The real Sting: what part is he going to play? Is there one last twist? Has Piper got somebody on the inside? Lex? Pillman? Dustin?

I imagine the show being one huge blowoff, fittingly so. But you have to leave something that gives the reader an idea of where WCW is headed in the future. The Giant is surely going over Vader and one would have to assume his reign of terror is only around the corner. Man, I wish somebody would pick this up and continue it, just to see the post-Bash Nitro and the next grand idea of KoW ilk.

Of course you can't reveal anything juicy... but boy oh boy, this is like Game of Thrones' most recent season. You've waited and waited and waited and now the finality is here, it feels oh so good.
