  1. I heard he's been offered a Legends deal and WWE will sell products bearing his likeness after he's left (Well, this was reported by cagesideseats I think). There's little chance he wrestles elsewhere outside of one shot deals perhaps.

I imagine he'll either pursue combat sports or get full time into acting. After all, if you go on his Twitter, his website link is his imdb page.

Edit: Just got told he recently signed up with the Screen Actors Guild, hence why his Twitter name is Stu Bennett.

I couldn't handle it when I saw it. Of all the silly booking decisions last night, that one might be the worst.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It's funny how so many of these Hall of Famers talk about the importance of putting people over, passing the torch and being thankful for their opponents doing the honours and yet, they're all happy to go out there and have their little moment burying young talent.</p>
  3. <p>The Ladder Match was good and full of happy little moments. Zayn stood out and was over like crazy, Stardust got to pay tribute to Dusty, Sin Cara's senton spot was superb, Owens was insanely over and showed good fire and The Miz got to put somebody over and did a commendable job doing it (as per). Mega happy for Zack, nobody deserves it more.</p><p> </p><p>

I also loved the Women's title match, which was the clear match of the night for me. Super happy that three women making their Mania debuts went out and stole the show. Great performance from all three, you could tell they were nervous but they kept the pace up and worked with the urgency that the stage demanded. It was really the only match that showed signs they were looking to the future.</p><p> </p><p>

It honestly wasn't a bad show at all and nowhere near the worst Mania of all time. We still have WrestleMania's II, IV, IX, XI and XXVII for that status. But it was a weird show from top to bottom. I felt like, they really wanted to go nearly five hours so they dragged out everything for as long as they possibly could. Shane vs. Taker went 30 minutes, but who's going to remember anything but the last 5 minutes? </p><p> </p><p>

It was really a show that felt like it was made for a highlights package afterwards, full of "moments", most of which left me and a lot of other fans feeling a little empty I think.</p>

I really think they should dial back on the TV writers and up the dial on the ex wrestlers in these roles. People that should be main eventing are barely shown if at all on RAW. Especially in this depleted main event scene we should be getting more of Tyler Breeze, Bo Dallas, Heath Slater and Zach Ryder.<p> </p><p> They need to cut loose some of these guys without a script and it will be money. They need to give them more rope to work with.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It's a political thing. If Kevin Dunn can bury the Tyler Breeze's of NXT to Vince, suddenly there's question marks about how capable HHH will be in if he's put in charge.</p>
  5. But to me it really hasn't bothered me it would be nice sure but each week is really good TV sometimes better than anyone else.

I hear that it's always solid but also forgettable.

I just see it as wasted potential. I'm referring to the most recent Impact episode which I won't spoil for anybody. But there's definitely a good, strong long term storyline there and they've opted to leave it all on the table.

  6. <p>As somebody that doesn't really watch but only follows TNA, is their big problem the inability to build feuds?</p><p> </p><p>

It always feels that they only give matches one week build at the very most, sometimes announcing world title matches to happen on the following episode. Does that excite people? Or that does make fans disappointed that they won't get to see the build to the match?</p>

  7. <p>I disagree about him having no charisma. I think he does have some but it's not this smiley babyface charisma. His Wholesome rating is a solid 0. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I also think his delivery is good but each to their own I guess, I'm not going to argue that since it's all subjective. But I still maintain that he's put in a very difficult position and gives 100% each and every time. It's not like he goes out there with a microphone and just phones it in. He genuinely comes across as though as he hopes tonight is the night that the fans finally cut him some slack.</p>

  8. That undercard looks fantastic. Kalisto vs. Ryback is likely for the pre-show and will be enjoyable because Kalisto works great against bigger guys. The Andre Battle Royal of the last two years has been better than the Rumble, I'm excited to see if they can match this year's awesome rumble. I can't pick a winner though...

The Owens ladder match promises to be one hell of a match. New Day vs. League of Nations will be a ton of fun, AJ & Jericho will go 15 minutes and will be a good match at the very least. Taker vs. Shane will your sports entertainment match of the evening, full of run-ins and swerves. Ambrose vs. Lesnar will be physical and brutal and Reigns will have yet another great singles match and prove all the doubters wrong again.

Then again I don't watch Raw. The show is bad and none of it matters. I don't care about the build but the matches always deliver and that's the important thing to me. So there's reasons to be excited, even for the most jaded of fans. Just stop watching Raw, it's not worth your time!

  9. Who said anything about less revenue? You can run the same number of shows but rotate months where certain workers appear. I don't think house show attendances will be impacted significantly if Cesaro or Heath Slater aren't scheduled. As for the main eventers, you can divide them up evenly. Cena can run roster A, Reigns can run roster B. It's not like having them both on the same card is doing big house show business as it is.

In that case, you'd have to plan house shows meticulously. You'd have to divide your roster into 12 and give every person on the roster at least one month off. And WWE's policy now is to run two shows in one day. They ran a house show in Atlantic City (Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles, 30 Minute Ironman) on the same day they were running RoadBlock live on the Network. So, you're already spreading your roster super thin as is and you're now going to give guys time off as well? There's a lot of other factors too which I won't go into, but this kind of policy just doesn't work IMHO.

  10. That said, I'd love to see them actually give two poops about the roster and rotate guys in and out. They'll never do it though, Vince wants those sweet, sweet, house shows and so guys will stay on the road 250+ days a year killing themselves.

It's not about Vince, at least not 100%. I've heard main roster talent going on record to say they love house shows. They get pretty much complete creative freedom to go and do whatever they want out there, as well as far more time than the TV to actually work a crowd and have a match. Wrestling is performance art but working for WWE usually means that you heed to a script. The talent pretty much jumps at any chance to break those shackles and express themselves.

Besides, nobody is under any illusions. It's been well established how demanding the schedule is, physically and mentally.

  11. FINALLY CAUGHT UP! Jeezus! Bash was great. I love how Hogan is trying his best to rekindle better days with mixed results. He comes across like a washed up old has-been, it's brilliant. Scott Steiner vs. Mike Awesome was everything I thought it would be. :D Also glad that Flair vs. Benoit was a massive success, for obvious reasons. :)

    Essa Rios w/Lita vs. Vampiro

I wonder if Essa's best days are now before him.

Road Warriors w/Sunny vs. Crowbar and David Flair w/Daffney

Can't see the Road Warriors losing this one after they beat Candido and Storm.

Mamalukes vs. Dean Malenko and Chris Candido

Get Candido a win back, smart booking.

Big T vs. Ken Shamrock © - Lion's Den match for the WCW Hardcore title

Big T is already wounded from a stabbing, this will be difficult to watch.

    Meng vs. Raven

Got no contest written all over it.

    Rick Steiner vs. Hulk Hogan

Even Hulkamania at its tamest can beat the Dog-faced Gremlin!

The Kliq vs. Sid, Steiner and Goldberg

Heels win to keep the feud going.

If I knew Japanese this would be a great deal but at this time I'm going to have to find different alternatives.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Your loss. Japanese commentary is magnificent. You don't listen to it until they scream a word you understand. You completely tune out and just get immersed in the actual wrestling that's going on. Then there's a lariat, the crowd explode and you've got a Japanese man screaming LARIATOOOOO! and it's awesome! LOVE the Japanese commentary and have/will always pick it over English comms.</p>
  14. Don't sleep on Fale. He's been pushed heavily in the last two NJC's, a semi-finalist and finalist respectively. They know that Okada can work a good match with Fale and with them having just renewed his and Tonga's contract, one has to assume they'll invest in him.
