  2. I mean, forgive my ignorance of the exact severity of the recession, but is 9.99 really that much of a monthly burden right now for the Average Japanese Fan?

For comparison, Me and the wife make an ok living here in the US, but we live on a very tight budget. When we decided to get the network, we found ten bucks we could cut pretty quickly. I just dropped from getting coffee on the way to work most days to only once or twice a week.

Well, the Tōhoku earthquake caused the Fukushima nuclear disaster and the country's economy has been reeling ever since. It was growing in the middle of 2015 only to slip back into recession in November. Wrestling attendances promptly declined thereafter.

  3. Only the most hardcore of Japanese wrestling fans will sub to the Network and we're talking fans that have disposable income in the middle of a recession. I honestly don't see how they think signing Nak will fix this for them. For clarification, I signed up for NJPW WORLD on Monday and I am the 66947th sub. I'd hazard a guess that right now, they probably have around 40,000 active subs. How WWE are expecting anything even close to that is completely beyond my understanding.
  4. 1) Jushin Liger vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio Jr vs. Psicosis vs. Billy Kidman vs. La Parka © - 6-Way Ladder Match for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship

Well... Liger has already held the title so I don't see him winning. Guerrero is beyond it and should be higher on the card IMO. Psicosis is great but I can't see him cutting a promo or anything, he wouldn't be a compelling Champion. Kidman would be funny but I don't see him climbing a ladder, too depressed. That leaves Mysterio Jr & La Parka. And personally, I don't think La Parka should retain his title in a match so open to carnage.

    2) Great American Bash Battle Royal - Winner gets 5 minutes in the ring with Roddy Piper*

Not eligible for predicting? To hell with that I'm gonna predict anyway! Ken Shamrock wins just for the hilarity of nothing happening for 5 minutes. :D

    3) Scott Steiner vs. Jeff Jarrett © - Dog Collar Match for the WCW United States Championship

You've been holding off on Steiner, now is the time to pull the trigger.

    4) Konnan vs. Mike Awesome

I'm a fan of Konnan but he doesn't strike me as a potential star. Awesome does. He was somebody that was mishandled in real life and I think you owe it to yourself to make that right.

    5) Buffy T (Booker T and Buff Bagwell w/Trish Stratus) vs. Revolution (Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko) - Number One Contendership Status vs. WCW World Tag Team Championship Match

Next Champions, I'm telling you. :D

    6) Diamond Dallas Page vs. Kanyon © - WCW World Television Championship Match

I could see a DDP heel turn but this match hinges on how hard you're willing to push Kanyon.

    7) Team WCW (Sid Vicious, Chris Benoit, Sting and Goldberg) vs. Team nWo (Ric Flair, Lex Luger, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) - War Games Match

I look at the WCW team and it's just way stronger. As much as I like the nWo, by 2000 they're a bit tiring as an act and I wouldn't blame you if you started phasing it out for something fresh and new.

    8) Hulk Hogan vs. Bret Hart © - WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match

Hogan shouldn't be winning this, it's that simple. Hart is the rightful Champion and a damn good. Hogan winning would be a step backwards in my opinion.

The amount of title changes? 4. The Hardcore title will change hands too. :D

    Opener? Battle Royal.

Match of the Night? Hogan vs. Hart.

  5. Vampiro vs. Crowbar

Eddie Guerrero, La Parka and Rey Mysterio vs. Psicosis, Jushin Liger and Kidman

Kidman doesn't care enough to win. :D

The Revolution (Malenko&Saturn) vs. The Outsiders (Hall&Nash) - WCW World Tag Team Championship Match

I could see this going either way. But I want Buffy T to be the next Champs. :)

    Black Reign vs. The Cat

Buffy T (Booker T and Buff Bagwell) vs. The Radicalz (Candido and Storm)

    Meng vs. Mike Awesome

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Goldberg - Winner Takes the Free Spot in the War Games Match

  8. <p><strong>Chris Benoit, Sid Vicious and Sting</strong> vs. ???</p><p>

<em>I can't see them winning at GAB, but putting them over until then creates some hope for WCW and that's a good storyline.</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>Brian Adams</strong> vs. Big T</p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>Goldberg</strong> vs. Bam Bam Bigelow</p><p> </p><p>

Curt Hennig vs. <strong>Kanyon ©</strong> - WCW World Television Championship Match</p><p>

<em>Kanyon has direction, Hennig kind of doesn't.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Steiner Brothers</strong> vs. Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn - Number One Contendership Match</p><p>

<em>Malenko & Saturn strike me as 'been there, done that'.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mamalukes (Big Vito and Johnny The Bull)</strong> vs. Arische Rasse (Wilhelm and Jacob)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Booker T and Buff Bagwell</strong> vs. Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan</p><p>

<em>Hart and Hogan being on the same page all of a sudden? There's more to this than meets the eye...</em></p><p> </p><p>

Jushin Liger vs. <strong>La Parka ©</strong> - WCW Cruiserweight Championship Rematch</p><p>

    <em>Skeleton should retain. </em><img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  9. If there is anybody interested in entering a WWE & NXT Predictions League for 2016 that has a prize for the winner (free entry), drop me a PM and I'll send you the details. It will be starting soon as there's a couple of bonus rounds before the Rumble PPV.

The prize would be WWE2K17 on PS4/Xbox One or a GDS game (user's choice). Let me know.

As somebody once told me: if you build it up, people will come.

  10. Great show, the return of Goldberg is excellent news.

The Revolution (Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn) vs. Paparazzi Prodcutions (Alex Shelley & Mike Sanders)

"Latino Heat" Eddie Guerrero vs. "The Juice" Juventud Guerrera

"The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett vs. "The IRS" Mike Rotunda

B&B Security (Bam Bam Bigelow and Bill DeMott) vs. DDP & Kanyon

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas vs. "The Face of Terror" Meng

"Middle Aged & Crazy" Terry Funk vs. "Career Killer" Mike Awesome - Death Match

"K-Dawg" Konnan vs. Ric "The Nature Boy" Flair

  11. Kidman vs. Psicosis

Being uninterested is to Kidman's advantage, they always say that emotions are bad for a fighter.

The Revolution (Dean Malenko & Perry Saturn) vs. B&B Security (Bill DeMott & Bam Bam Bigelow)

Bed & Breakfast Security? :p The Revolution are ahead on the totem pole.

Big T vs. Kanyon © - WCW World Television Championship Match

    Nobody's better than Kanyon.

Radicalz (Lance Storm and Chris Candido) vs. Steiner Bros.

This should be an interesting match. As much as I like Storm & Candido, they aren't headline material yet.

    Konnan vs. Sting

A loss for Sting would be so damaging.

Gaijins (Berlyn & Liger) vs. Mysterio and La Parka

    LOL. Gaijins, that's brilliant.

    Chris Benoit vs. Lex Luger

Just like Sting, Benoit losing here would do a lot of damage. Luger isn't the kind of guy that should be beating your future stars.
