They're moving further and further away from "characters" and more into realistic personality-types presented in a sports-like fashion. They want guys that can pose in Tapout gear, appear on ESPN and/or sell t-shirts to kids. Cena, Styles, Reigns, Rollins, Ambrose, Owens and Zayn are the guys they're looking at and all of them are wrestlers, not superstars. Bray is charismatic and he certainly has a place as a top-tier heater to put over faces, but he's just not talented enough to be the exception to these new rules unfortunately.</p>

  8. With regards The Final Deletion, imagine if this storyline was just played out like every other wrestling storyline ever. A load of backstage interviews, some interference in matches or whatever, a few wins traded back and forth... In TNA, with where both guys are in their careers, that would be skippable television and completely forgettable in probably less than three months time. So I can completely understand why they've gone the way they have with it. The fact that it's so absurd works overwhelmingly in its favour, there's no boundaries to it and both Matt and Jeff can embrace it wholeheartedly. It's the angle they dreamed up when they were little boys, finally coming to life as the story of their careers comes full circle. And I guess that with where TNA is as a company right now, this would never work as a strike against them. They're already so far gone in terms of people's opinion of them that this entire fiasco would be stupid and "the reason I don't watch TNA" at the very worst.

Suffice to say I enjoyed "the match". It was fun and above all else, I want to enjoy the time I spend watching wrestling. I want to be rewarded and sometimes, for me, wrestling doesn't do that. WWE PPV's have decent matches but not much else to really write home about. There's so much middle of the road stuff out there so I'm glad The Final Deletion happened and gave me something to really enjoy. But I suppose I went into it wanting to enjoy it, and thus, I enjoyed it.

That's not a criticism, it's just that there's such a small group of wrestlers you can use. Naturally, one always falls to Sabin and The Young Bucks and such.</p><p> </p><p> Just throwing some ideas around but I'd love to see what you could do on a historical mod. How about the formation of ROH or TNA? Gives you a chance to write your boy AJ Styles before he was anybody in particular. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

My first show was good, super pleased to see lots of worker improvements. Low locker room morale based on two incidents, but hopefully a few good PPV's will fix that. I've got a solid base here already, I've stuck Jon Kronk with the manipulative Daniel Rogers, Kronk is his "enforcer" parsay. Meanwhile, Minted is going for the world title and has tasked Ghurong with keeping Scott Stanton out of his hair. Onwards and upwards!

Started a save as UKWF, and on day one, LLLL went and won the game. 100 rated match. >_>

One thing I've noticed is that, as you can see, a lot of companies have figureheads that are considered "flops". I don't think that's a bug or anything, just thought it was worth flagging up since I haven't seen that in any other mod I've played yet.

I doubt WWE is going to mess with that deal for a long time.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Especially with no guarantee that the ratings will be higher. I mean, will a two hour show realistically do better ratings than what they get in the first two hours of RAW right now? I don't see it.</p>
  14. Name: Alexander Wilkington

    Age: 21 (4 year pro)

    Gender: Male

    Size: Middleweight

    Nationality and complexion: English, White

Active areas (where the person can sign): British Isles, Europe, USA, Japan

Home area/region (where the person is from): British Isles

Appearance/Comparison in real life: The actor Robert Sheehan, but with hair similar to Mad Men's Don Draper.

    Style: Japanese Junior

Finisher: Saving Grace (Top Rope Moonsault), High Tension (Straitjacket German Suplex)

Company(ies) currently working for: A variety of UK and European promotions, but he's not really a key fixture in any of them.

Bio (give a short backstory to the character): Alexander always wanted to be a wrestler but his parents insisted he got his A-levels before they'd pay for wrestling school. Unfortunately for them, Alexander had other ideas and dropped out of college at 17, funding the start of his career with the minuscule earnings he'd saved from working a part-time retail job. Although hardly lighting the wrestling world on fire, Alexander is easy to work with and it's that that's managed to secure him consistent bookings, as well as international tours. Now may just be the time for Wilkington to start proving that he's more than just a solid hand...

My one and only request, and I'm going to hold you to this in return for the logos I'm making. :D If it's not too much trouble of course... I would like him to have Fairly High Basics, Consistency, Selling and Safety. Fairly high Charisma and Star Quality (60's), alongside Chain Wrestling and Aerial. Average Psychology and Flashiness and Sex Appeal (I'm modelling him off me and I can assure you, I'm a good looking chap! Just ask MHero. :p). Low Microphone, Low Brawling, non-existent Hardcore.

In terms of personality, I'd quite like: Humble, Compassionate, Loyal, Social, Hesitant. I'll leave the rest up to you. :D
