I have you tied around my finger...

**Waits**

**Waits Some More**

Alright, don't kill me!

**Sends out more roles**

(For the record, recruiting was supposed to be an after thought. I expected nWo to get to 5 as soon as possible and have the recruitment as the secondary power, killing most of the time. It just didn't work as planned, but was still successful. Also, a cult wins when everyone remaining is in the cult. A mafia wins when all the other mafias are dead and they are equal to the # to townies. Slight difference, but it makes nWo a mafia. Recruiting isn't normal for a mafia, though, so they're definitely special.)

Here we go arguing game mechanics again. The nwo was a cult in evrything I have read. Like the AWA and others.

Be careful or I will unleash The Great Wolf Crockett on you!

K...

They could recruit and were EVIL, which would make them a cut, but they were created as a mafia, and played out as a cult.

So, I "meant" for them to be a mafia.

I can't respond anymore, I'm busy with my moddingness... :D

NWO was a Cult that gained a Night kill after a certain condition was met... this was to balance the TNA's 2 kills per night ability, which itself was balanced around not killing certain characters in order to win.

Example. What did the NWO lose for a night if Eric B was killed? A recruitment. What would have happened to an NWO member had they tried to recruit a Mafia member (Death).... probably several other things I am forgetting that put the NWO in the Cult category (as it is described at Mafiawiki).

Thank you.

In DOTT there was one powerful mafia.

Two recruiting mason groups. One that could turn rougue.

And another that would have to be considered a cult. They had no choice but to be bad.

I was mod. I know why they had what they did. I devised and wrote the things! They were not given the kill as a balance, they were given a kill because they were supposed to be a mafia. I made the kill conditional to balance the recruitment ability, which was added a few days before the roles were written because of the fact that by the time WCW ended, it seemed like EVERYONE was in the nWo... They were not given what they were given because of TNA!

It turned out that by giving the recruitment "opening" status (It was "A" in the B if and only if A clause) they worked more cult like. If they had been able to kill, and if successful X amount of times been able to recruit, things would be different!

Also, nWo wasn't killed if they tried to recruit mafia, I believe. I don't remember though. (They were unsuccessful, I know.) Also, did they lose a recruitment when Eric was killed/only when he was killed? I'm asking Banger or Outlaw, as they were in the group...

Joose - Constant PM's with him asking me what the hell i was doing, made that game so much more fun!

Most Dramatic Moment In Game

Might seem irrelevant to most but my lynching as the ultimate warrior in the real world mod for me. I was fighting so hard to stop my lynch with my offer to serve the town as a "leashed" serial killer!

It's not like the Dog Pound section of the site is full of life anymore. Only the WWE and AEW threads have any sort of posting in them on a regular basis.</p>
