B.R.
Ok so as part of an angle I am doing with SWF is having a worker pretend to be the father of Tommy Cornell used in a variety of skits making fun of the TCW champ. I am trying to think of a worker (wrestler or non) who could pass off as the elder Cornell. Any suggestions? (Unfortunately The Minor Annoyance is too young to be believable haha)
shipshirt
Isn't JD Morgan in his late 40's? He could have conceiveably had Tommy when he was 20 or so (Tommy is 29 right?). You know how those wrestlers are :)
Comradebot
JD Morgan, I believe, is 39 at the start of the database... so no, it doesn't work. Let's see, older British folks... Melvin the Fantastic is the only guy whose British that I think is old enough... The Highland Warrior is Scottish and also of age. You're probably best off just saying some random old guy is his father.
Hyde Hill
Yeah if you want the dad to be realisticly british melvin is the way to go.
Comradebot
OR, if you can check out the 1975 mod for 07, then you could find a guy from that time period that might work out, and create them. Don't think it'd be technically cheating seeing as how that person exists in the CVerse... If not, Melvin is your man.
Sagitta
You could go the 'illegitimate' route and really have fun by using someone like Shiek Mustafa, Angus McKing, Crippler Ray Kingman, Rip Chord... This could be perfect for setting up a good feud when a fictional half sibling finds out. Just because Tommy is British, it doesn't mean that his father is. :)
Pugsly34
remember this is wrestling, the person only has to look like he's old enough to be Tommy's father. Things like age and nationality are only for the bookers sake. Unless of course it is a well known character anybody could pull it off.

Hence the desire for believability.
Bigpapa42
I agree with the suggestions of looking at the early C-verse mods. Either the '75 mod from 07 or the new '97 mod for 08. Should be one or two workers from Britain in those that would probably fit decently.
Pugsly34
i meant the person that is playing tommy's father, if he's not a known character, meaning someone that's been seen on tv or been apart of a big promotion in the U.S. than he could believeably play the part of Tommy's father. alden
There is one and only guys that can play cornell's pop.....nemesis ;).
FuelFan0102
that's ironic that you say that alden, because i actually ran a storyline that Tommy Cornell was actually Ash Campbell's dad, not Nemesis. not exactly the same, but close enough to be amusing
Genadi
I love these threads, I'm slowly enjoying talking about the C-Verse more then RL! Whatabout Krippler, I think someone suggested him already.
shamelessposer
I say screw believability. Just go ahead and use Big Smack Scott in a top hat and a monocle. Maybe give him Cornell's wrestling gear too.

Mr T Jobs To Me
Isn't it obvious? Tommy Cornell's father is the Womanizer himself, Robbie Gordon. :D

Jennie Bomb
Tommy Cornell was born in 1978. Therefore you need someone who was in the prime of his life in the 1970s. Thus, the clear answer is that his father is Robbie Retro, Time-Travelling Disco Stud.

Just because Tommy's of British descent doesn't mean the dad HAS to be. I'm sure he toured the world as a young wrestler...
