We cut into the arena where an absolutely huge amount of pyros explode around the titantron and the walkway to the ring, as the sound of AC/DC's 'Shoot To Thrill' plays out. The camera pans around the frenetic crowd who wildly wave their banners and cheer deafeningly before we turn to the announce desk...

JR: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the 25th anniversary of the greatest spectacle in all of sports entertainment, welcome to Wrestlemania!!!...... A packed out crowd of 72,744 inside the Reliant Stadium here tonight, eagerly awaiting the many amazing matches set to take place here over the next four adrenaline filled hours. I'm Jim Ross alongside Michael Cole and my old friend Jerry 'The King' Lawler and guys, what an amazing atmosphere there is inside this arena tonight......

King: Thank you JR, although less of the old haha, there is certainly a buzz around the venue tonight, but what else could you expect!

Michael Cole: There is always an electricity in the air at Wrestlemania, but tonight feels like nothing I, personally, have ever experienced before....

A loud bang, accompanied by the arena becoming bathed in a dark red glow, signals the arrival of Kane, and the first match of the evening. Kane makes his way to the ring where there are 5 ladders standing on the walkway and many more lying against the barricades all around the ring.....

JR: And we are ready to kick things off folks, The 'Big Red Machine' Kane making his way out for the 5th annual Money In The Bank Ladder Match, and guys, who do you fancy to win this opening match and earn a shot at any world title of their choosing.....

Michael Cole: I think we could be looking at him, JR......

King: I'd have to go for The Big Show myself, just look at him, 450 pounds, 7 feet tall, he might not even need a ladder to reach the briefcase...

JR: That could be true, King, but in my mind, when it comes to getting up that ladder quickly, Big Show in particular could struggle to get the job done....

With Kane in the ring, last years winner CM Punk is next out, followed by Rey Mysterio, The Brian Kendrick, John Morrison, Mr Kennedy, Kofi Kingston and finally, The Big Show......

The Big Show vs Rey Mysterio vs Kofi Kingston vs Kane vs John Morrison vs The Brian Kendrick vs CM Punk vs Mr Kennedy

The bell rings and all 8 men stand in a circle looking from each other to the briefcase and back again, until Rey Mysterio starts things off by throwing kicks and punches at Kane. Things soon turn to a free for all with everyone hitting the closest person to them until Mr Kennedy slides to the outside and grabs a ladder which he slides into the ring. Kendrick hits a dropkick to Kennedy just as he lifts the ladder up and he is sent flying back out of the ring. Kennedy gets back to the apron but Kendrick hits a baseball slide that knocks Kennedy down once more. Kendrick heads outside and starts brawling with Kennedy whilst Big Show asserts his dominance in the ring with Big Boots to CM Punk, Kofi Kingston and John Morrison. Mysterio and Kane are still battling until Show teams up with Kane to beat on Mysterio, until Show tosses both Mysterio and Kane over the rope. Kendrick, Kennedy, Mysterio and Kane fight on the outside as Punk and Kingston team up on Big Show as Morrison climbs the turnbuckle and hits a Shooting Star Press to the four on the outside, all 5 men crumpling in a heap. Big Show fights both Punk and Kingston off and knocks them to the outside before leaving the ring and grabbing a ladder. Show slides into the ring and sets the ladder up but only gets on the first rung before being clobbered by CM Punk. Show pushes Punk to the corner and charges, Punk dodges him and runs up the ladder, jumping and turning mid air to hit a Crossbody on Show, who catches Punk, positions him in a bearhug and drives him against the turnbuckle. The ring fills up again as Kendrick looks to make a sneaky run up the ladder only for Show to drag him off and slap his massive hand hard on Kendrick's chest. Morrison starts to climb the ladder on one side, with Kennedy on the other, trading blows until Big Show pushes the ladder over, both men spilling to the canvas as the ladder stops on the middle rope. Big Show is dominating, but suddenly comes face to face with Kane. The pair size each other up before trading right hands, but don't see that John Morrison has climbed the turnbuckle with the ladder in his hands, and hits a Moonsault, taking out both giants with the ladder as well as hurting himself in doing so, as the fans start a holy sh*t chant! With one clearly not enough, Kennedy slides another ladder into the ring whilst setting one up between the edge of the apron and the barricades. Kennedy slides in and stands the ladder up but is attacked by Mysterio who quickly knocks Kennedy across the ropes and looks for a 619. Kennedy ducks and clotheslines Rey over the top rope, following him to the outside. The pair battle until Kendrick and Kofi join them in a brawl. Punk picks up the ladder used by Morrison moments ago and sets it up but Morrison tugs at his leg before being kicked away. Punk begins to climb but is clobbered by Big Show and pushed to the corner again. Show folds the ladder up and holds it like a battering ram, charging at Punk who moves. Show drops the ladder as he hits the turnbuckle, the top resting against the top turnbuckle so it stands at an angle. Big Show stumbles around and Punk charges, but Show grabs his throat lifts him and turns to drive Punk onto the ladder with a Chokeslam. The ladder barely buckles as Punk hits it, falling off and to the outside as he writhes in agony. Big Show turns and Kane hits him with a Spear that drives him right through the ladder, breaking it into two.

Morrison grabs yet another ladder and sets it up in the slightly off center but is cut off as Kendrick, Kennedy, Mysterio and Kofi bring their fight back to the outside. Mysterio headscissors Morrison across the ropes and looks for a 619, but Kane grabs his legs as he springs to the ropes and drags him outside, pushing him with force against the barricades. Kennedy looks to baseball slide Kane who dodges and hits a big Uppercut and drags Kennedy around before slamming his head off the barricades. Kane drags him to the side of the ring where Kennedy set up the ladder previously and slams his head off the apron before looking to do the same on that ladder, but Kennedy blocks it and elbows Kane in the gut. Back on the inside Morrison, Kendrick and Kofi are brawling until Kofi takes down Morrison with a high kick then hits a Trouble In Paradise on Kendrick before looking at the ladder, then the crowd then the ladder and starting to climb. Morrison runs up behind him and clobbers him before getting him in an awkward position and hitting a Moonlight Drive off the ladder! Kennedy and Kane are still going at it on the outside until Kennedy hits a back bodydrop that sees Kane land on the ladder he set up earlier. Kennedy enters the ring with another ladder and sets it up near the ropes but is attacked by Morrison as Big Show, Rey Mysterio and CM Punk all spill back into the ring. Morrison is attacked by CM Punk and Kennedy climbs the ladder, but he isn't looking at the briefcase, instead staring down at Kane. He climbs and climbs until only one rung off the top and after thinking about it for a second, hits a Kenton Bomb to Kane, cracking the ladder in two as the pair fall to the thin mats below, yet another holy sh*t chant emanating from the crowd. Big Show is set upon by the other superstars, but they all reel back as Show forces them away. Mysterio knocks him down with a dropkick to the knee before hitting a dropkick to the head that sends Big Show across the ropes and Mysterio quickly hits a 619. Show stumbles back against the ladder and Mysterio hits a West Coast Pop but Show catches him and hits a modified Electric Chair that slams Mysterio face first into the ladder. Punk and Morrison climb the ladder and trade blows until Kofi pulls at Morrison's leg taking him down. Kendrick takes his place on the ladder and it's a race between him and Punk, but Big Show pushes the ladder over and both men tumble to the floor. Bodies are everywhere and Big Show, Morrison and Kofi are the only 3 men currently standing. Show starts punching at Kofi's ribs but Morrison starts kicking at him from behind. Show turns and Morrison backs off but Show looks back at Kofi who hits him with a high kick to the side of the head. Show reels around and Morrison hits a Superkick! Show is still standing but Kofi hits Trouble In Paradise, Show again only stumbling to the ropes. Morrison and Kofi take Big Show over the top rope with a double clothesline before Kendrick raises a knee to Kofi's gut. Punk does the same to Morrison as Kennedy re-enters the ring and stands the ladder back up underneath the briefcase. He starts to climb as Mysterio enters with another ladder, setting up beside him. Mysterio climbs but he and Kennedy are joined by Punk and Morrison. The four trade blows until Punk knocks Kennedy off. Kendrick grabs Punk's leg and pulls him down. Punk swings an arm and Kendrick ducks, wraps his arm round Punk's head and hits a ladder assisted 'The Kendrick' (sliced bread no2) to Punk as Morrison and Mysterio climb the ladder. Mysterio aims a kick to Morrison who is on the same side as he but on the opposite ladder, and Morrison stumbles. Rey climbs and just brushes the briefcase with his hand before having his leg tugged by Kofi. Mysterio struggles and kicks Kofi away but Kendrick climbs the ladder on the opposite side. He quickly reaches the same level as Mysterio but John Morrison Springboards off the middle of the top rope and lands on the adjacent ladder. The three trade blows before both ladders start to wobble and eventually topple over in different directions.

Pretty much everyone is down until Kofi sets up one of the ladders back into place. He climbs but notices Big Show is back up on the outside and holding another ladder. Kofi launches a Missile Dropkick over the ropes and straight into the ladder and Show, both men crashing to the floor. Punk suddenly springs to life and starts to climb, getting most of the way up until Kennedy climbs the other side. Punk is near the top but Kennedy reaches through and pulls his leg until Kennedy is pulled down by Morrison and thrown to the outside. Punk regains his footing and reaches the top with Morrison climbing on the opposite side. Morrison reaches the top and reaches out a hand but Punk punches him in the gut, doubling him over. Punk wraps his arm around Morrison's head as Mysterio pulls at Punk's leg and turns on the ladder, holding Punk in a Powerbomb position. Mysterio Powerbombs Punk who in turn Suplexes Morrison over the top of the ladder and all three men are down as a third holy sh*t chant rings out. How much more can these guys take. Kendrick is the only man left in the ring in any fit state with Big Show and Kofi still down on the outside, Kane having not moved since being driven through a ladder by Kennedy who himself is slowly stirring after being thrown out by Morrison, while Morrison, Mysterio and Punk have all just crashed and burned. Is Kendrick going to win this? He climbs the ladder and gets near the top but Kennedy slides back in and quickly climbs the opposite side. Kendrick reaches out and gets one hand on the belt before Kennedy punches him in the gut. Kennedy aims blows at Kendrick's head that have him reeling until one final shot knocks him off. Kennedy has a hand on the belt, but Mysterio is back up and runs to the ropes, springboarding and turning mid air to land 3/4 of the way up the ladder, totally surprising Kennedy. Mysterio reaches through and slams Kennedy's head against the ladder three times before he falls off and it looks like nothing can stop Mysterio winning this. He reaches the top and gets both hands on the briefcase but Kendrick is back up and reaches through to pull Mysterio's legs through the rungs, trapping Mysterio awkwardly. Kendrick looks up almost in surprise that he now looks destined to win and he starts to climb. He's near the top and only needs to climb one last rung but Kennedy is up again, this time on the apron. Kennedy uncharacteristically springboards off the middle of the top rope right onto the side of the ladder, somehow holding on and somehow not forcing the ladder to topple. Kendrick is surprised as Kennedy barges onto the same side of the ladder as him and slams his head onto the top rung. Kennedy ducks underneath Kendrick and lifts him onto his shoulders. Green Bay Plunge from near the top of the ladder!!!! Mysterio is helpless as he hangs in the ladder, Kennedy slowly getting back to his feet and digging deep to pull himself up on the rungs for one last effort. Mysterio is trapped, everyone else is down, surely this is Kennedy's match! He climbs the ladder, two rungs from the top, one rung, he reaches out and grasps the briefcase with both hands, fumbling at the lock, can he be stopped? no! Kennedy unhooks the briefcase and wins the match!

Winner: Mr Kennedy

King: What a match!

JR: Mr Kennedy has made history at Wrestlemania, the first man to win the Money In The Bank Ladder Match on two separate occasions!!

Michael Cole: What an effort by Kennedy, who let's remember only returned a few weeks ago!

JR: One hell of a match folks, every single one of the competitors putting their bodies on the line, and Mr Kennedy stopping at nothing so he can once again call himself Mr Money In The Bank!!!!!!!!!!!..........

We cut to an exterior shot of the Reliant Stadium, where it is still light outside.....

Michael Cole: What a way to start the night, still many amazing matches left in store, one of those is of course the return for one night only of 'The Rattlesnake' 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin who will face JBL tonight and I believe our colleague Todd Grisham is standing by backstage with JBL right now......

We cut backstage......

Todd Grisham: Thank you Michael, indeed I am here with JBL, who faces 'The Rattlesnake' tonight, and JBL, I'd just like to gauge your mindset going in to your match.......

JBL: A few weeks back, Todd, when I lost out on my chance at facing and beating The Undertaker here tonight, I thought that was it, my chance at making Wrestlemania history was gone, but then Ric Flair and Steve Austin stuck their noses in my business and just like that I was presented with an opportunity to do something even bigger than end the streak of The Undertaker, tonight I get the chance to end the career of 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. Tonight I guarantee that I will break Steve Austin's neck and take my place in history as the man who ended the career of 'The Rattlesnake'.....

We head back into the arena where Hurricane Helms is making his way to the ring for our next match..........

Shelton Benjamin © vs MVP vs Hurricane Helms

The bell rings and both MVP and Helms look at each other knowingly before running at Benjamin and both hitting punches to the champ as things get off to a quick start. MVP throws Benjamin to the outside and as he gets back up, MVP and Helms hit a double baseball slide to knock him back down. Benjamin gets up again but Helms hits a somersault plancha to take him down, before bouncing up to his feet and joining MVP in the ring. With the champ down, MVP and Helms know it's time to take the fight to each other and they hook up, MVP forcing Helms to the corner where he aims a punch only for Helms to duck under and unleash a barrage of kicks all over the body of MVP. Helms and MVP battle it out for a minute or so until Benjamin gets back into the ring, clattering Helms across the back as he throws punches at MVP. Benjamin throws Helms to the outside and takes over beating down on MVP. Benjamin hits a few shots on MVP, ducks a punch and hits a Cobra Clutch Backbreaker, keeping MVP in position afterwards to stretch his back. Helms breaks it after a few seconds when he rejoins the ring and hits Benjamin with a kick to the side of the head and makes the first cover of the match, which Benjamin easily kicks out of. Helms throws MVP to the outside as he looks to isolate the champion, hitting some more kicks and some basic suplexes to take control. MVP is soon back in the ring and is quickly clotheslined by Helms, who looks to hit another only for MVP to catch him and hit a snap overhead belly to belly suplex. MVP gets Helms in a facelock and knees him several times in the head before pushing him to the corner and beating him down to the mat. He turns just as Benjamin looks to hit a Stinger Splash and nimbly avoids it as Benjamin splashes the turnbuckle. Benjamin staggers out and MVP drops him with a clothesline, and another, MVP building momentum with every move. Benjamin gets up and MVP looks set to hit another big move but Helms explodes from the corner and hits him with an Enzuigiri. He turns and Benjamin kicks him in the gut before doing a Sunset Flip to make a cover, Helms kicking out at 2. Benjamin and Helms get up but MVP charges, hitting a clothesline on Benjamin over the head of Helms before kicking Helms in the gut and whipping him to the ropes. MVP takes Helms down with a Big Boot, and makes the cover for a 2 count. Benjamin is back up and knees MVP in the gut as he turns, whipping him to the ropes, but MVP holds on. Benjamin charges and MVP drops to send Benjamin to the floor, but unbeknownst to MVP, Benjamin has skillfully landed on the apron and takes MVP down with a Springboard Clothesline as he turns back around. Helms charges at Benjamin who flapjacks Helms across the ropes, and the champion is in control. Benjamin whips Helms to the corner and follows up with a Stinger Splash. As he spins around he sees MVP charging with a Big Boot and moves in time. Helms isn't quite so lucky as MVP nails him with the Big Boot, and he falls face first to the canvas. MVP's leg is caught on the top rope for just a second, long enough for Benjamin to go for the rollup! but MVP kicks out. Benjamin hits MVP with multiple rights before pushing him to the corner and sitting him up on the turnbuckle. Benjamin climbs and wraps his arm around MVP's head but MVP punches at Benjamin's gut. Benjamin replies with a knee to MVP's head and hits a Superplex. He makes the cover but MVP just kicks out. Benjamin is frustrated, arguing with the official that it should have been a 3 count, and he pays as Helms hits a modified Shining Wizard to the kneeling champion, before making the cover! Benjamin just gets a shoulder up and Helms drags the champ up to his feet. Helms looks to be eying up a single knee facebreaker but MVP spins him around and kicks him in the gut before getting into position for a Playmaker. Helms counters into a backslide and looks to win it! No, MVP rolls a shoulder out just in time. Helms gets up, then MVP, and Helms suddenly hits the single knee facebreaker to MVP, but doesn't get to make the cover as Benjamin spins him around and nails him with a T-Bone Suplex. Benjamin stalks Helms as he gets up and when he turns, Benjamin suddenly hits Paydirt like a flash and makes the cover, MVP slowly rousing but he won't make it in time.... 1...2...3! Benjamin wins!

Winner And Still United States Champion: Shelton Benjamin

JR: 'The Gold Standard' Shelton Benjamin retaining the United States Title in one hell of a match.....

King: All three men gave their all in this match, but credit to Benjamin for coming out of it with his title intact.....

Michael Cole: It looked like Helms had the match won for a split second, but the champion timing it just right, hitting Paydirt to get the job done.....

JR: Well that was one impressive effort by all three men involved, and another three men will give their all tonight in a similar matchup, this time though, for the World Heavyweight Championship....

A graphic appears on screen hyping the match later on tonight between Chris Jericho, Randy Orton and John Cena....

King: I'm sure you've been keeping an eye on everything happening over on RAW, JR, and Randy Orton looked to be holding all the cards, that is until he angered Triple H...

Michael Cole: The last thing you want to do...

JR: Certainly not something I'd be quick to do...

King: When have you ever been quick at anything, JR! haha

JR: A good point, King.... and you'll be happy to know you haven't got to wait any longer, it's here.... the 25 Diva Battle Royal to crown Miss Wrestlemania...

King: This is going to be great...

The music of Kelly Kelly plays as she makes her way out to a cheer. She is only halfway down the ramp when Layla El makes her entrance, followed by Candice Michelle and Jillian of RAW. Next out are the Bella twins, Nikki and Brie, Eve Torres and Natalya - all from Smackdown. Katie Lea Burchill is next out followed by Alicia Fox. Maria and Michelle McCool of Smackdown are followed by Mickie James and Beth Phoenix, who comes out with Rosa Mendes and Santino Marella, from RAW. The crowd let out a cheer as soome old faces appear next. Sunny is out first, followed by Christy Hemme, Victoria, Torrie Wilson, Molly Holly and Miss Jackie. The crowd go wild the second the next entrance music plays as Lita makes her way to the ring. WWE Divas Champion Maryse is next out to a less favourable reception before WWE Women's Champion Melina comes out on stage. That's 24 of the 25 Divas, and the final entrant gets the biggest pop of all, including a delighted shriek from 'King' as Trish Stratus makes her way out as the final entrant! With all 25 Divas - past and present - in the ring, it's time to get things started!

25 Diva Battle Royal To Crown 'MISS WRESTLEMANIA'

Participants:

Melina, Beth Phoenix (w/ Santino Marella), Mickie James, Candice Michelle, Kelly Kelly, Rosa Mendes, Jillian, Layla El, Maryse, Maria, Michelle McCool, Eve Torres, Natalya, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Alicia Fox, Katie Lea Burchill, Trish Stratus, Lita, Victoria, Christy Hemme, Miss Jackie, Molly Holly, Torrie Wilson, Sunny

With just 4 minutes gone, we're down to the final 8 Divas. Melina, Maryse, Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, Rosa Mendes, Lita, Christy Hemme and Trish Stratus. Trish has been targeted all match by Beth and Rosa whilst Maryse has tried to take any opportunity at eliminating Lita.

Christy Hemme is next to go when she and Mickie go at it, Mickie proving too agile as she rolls over Christy's back who charges at her into the corner, sending Hemme shoulder first into the steel ringpost before Mickie throws her through the top two ropes. Beth has been dominant in this match, although the help of Rosa and even Santino on the outside have assisted her greatly. She and Rosa pick on Lita and Trish, a move which soon sees Lita and Trish send Rosa to the outside with a double back bodydrop. Beth realises she is on her own and looks to be on her own, although Maryse decides to ally with her. Melina wins out in a battle of the champions, hitting Maryse with the LA Sunset before rolling her out of the ring. Beth is truly on her own, but is quick to eliminate Melina, smiling down at the Women's Champion with smug satisfaction, before being set upon by Mickie James, Lita and Trish.

What a final four: Trish Stratus, Lita, Mickie James and Beth Phoenix. Santino is still at ringside cheering on Phoenix and tries to interfere at any opportunity, swiping at Mickie James' leg as she springs off the ropes. Mickie uses the ropes to aid her as she swings both feet into Santino's chest. She gets up and turns as Beth charges at her, but Mickie lifts a forearm to Beth's face. Beth is set on by the other 3 Divas, before Mickie hits her with a devastating Mickie-DT. That isn't enough, though as Trish lifts Beth up, playing to the fans before hitting a Stratusfaction. As if that wasn't enough, Trish and Mickie urge Lita to go to the top turnbuckle. The crowd are on edge before Lita hits Beth with a Litasault! Trish and Lita pick Beth up above their head and walk towards the ropes. Santino Marella pleads with them not to, but the pair throw Beth right on top of Santino and the pair land in a heap, much to the crowds delight. We're down to our final three, wait! make that two, Mickie James has snuck up behind Lita and dumped her over the ropes. Some of the crowd boo, and Mickie looks down at Lita apologetically, shrugging her shoulders before turning to face Trish Stratus. A back and forth 'Let's go Mickie - Let's go Trish' chant starts up and the pair share a smile before locking up. Mickie whips Trish to the ropes and looks for a clothesline, Trish ducks and hits a flying clothesline as she springs off the ropes. Trish surprisingly goes for a Sharpshooter but Mickie just blocks it and spins Trish away with her legs. The pair trade blows before Trish whips Mickie to the corner and charges in but Mickie lifts a boot to Trish's face. Mickie hits a roundhouse kick and looks for a Mickie-DT, but Trish counters it and wraps her arm around her head, going for a Stratusfaction. Trish looks to push off the rope with her feet but Mickie pushes her over the rope! Trish somehow hangs on and lands on the apron. Mickie charges and Trish moves, Mickie's missing a Spear type move and almost falling between the top two ropes. Trish gets back into the ring and grabs Mickie who suddenly reels back and hits a kick right to Trish' head. Mickie grabs Trish and goes for the Mickie-DT again but Trish counters it and hits a Chick Kick before quickly nailing the Stratusfaction. Trish lifts Mickie up and throws her to the outside, winning the match and becoming 'MISS WRESTLEMANIA' to the delight of the cheering fans!

Winner & "MISS WRESTLEMANIA'

Trish Stratus

King: What a match, does it have to be over?

JR: Afraid so, King! I can not think of any Diva - past or present - more deserving of the title of Miss Wrestlemania, than Trish Stratus

King: I would have to agree, I imagine Trish Stratus is, and I know I am, completely 'Stratusfied' with the outcome of that match...

Michael Cole: Good lord.... it doesn't get any better does it King? haha.....

We cut backstage where Eve Torres is looking absolutely stunning......

Eve Torres: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest, Mr Money In The Bank, Mr Kennedy! Mr Kennedy, congratulations on winning the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, and I just wondered if you have thought about when you might cash in your guaranteed title shot....

Kennedy is visibly excited having won the Money In The Bank Ladder earlier in the night...

Mr Kennedy: Oh Eve, Eve, Eve..... I haven't even had time to let the fact that I have won Money In The Bank sink in yet, I mean..... wow, I just can't believe it..... All I know is I'm not going to be doing anything stupid, I'm going to savour the moment and who knows, this time I might actually cash it in...

Kennedy smiles at Eve, the delight clear to see as he walks away. Eve smiles and hands us back to the announce desk....

Michael Cole: Things could not be much better for Mr Kennedy, and congratulations to him, but things could not be much worse for Jeff Hardy. His brother Matt has made his life hell for the past few months, costing him the WWE Title at The Royal Rumble, but Jeff will be looking to settle a score, here tonight...

JR: I'm not sure Jeff is going to be happy at the end of this match, no matter the outcome, he doesn't want to fight his brother, but he has no choice. Let's take a look at how the love shared between these two brothers has evaporated ever since Matt attacked his brother just a few short months ago.....

A highlight video starts to roll, showing the key points that have led to this match

The Royal Rumble, where Jeff Hardy has Edge beat. Matt Hardy turns up and looks set to aid Jeff in hitting a con-chair-to to Edge, only to smash Jeff with the steel chair, allowing Edge to recover and win the WWE Title.

Clips of Matt saying how he no longer has a brother and how Jeff has stopped him from being as successful as he could have been.

No Way Out, the Smackdown Elimination Chamber where Jeff pins Vladimir Kozlov only to get smashed in the skull with a steel chair as he turns, courtesy of his brother Matt.

The following Smackdown, where Jeff Hardy and Edge have a grudge match, Jeff looking to hit a Swanton Bomb only for Matt to appear and push him off the top turnbuckle.

Clips of Matt taunting Jeff and talking of the accidents he had; being attacked in a stairwell before Survivor Series, being involved in a car crash and having his pyros explode in his face.

Matt tells Jeff it's a shame he and his girlfriend Beth weren't at home the night his house caught fire, killing his loyal dog Jack, causing Jeff to flip and attack Matt, before falling to his knees and almost crying as the emotions rage through him.

A clip of Jeff attacking Matt backstage 2 weeks ago on Smackdown.

Finally, a clip from the last episode of Smackdown, where Jeff rushes through the crowd and attacks Matt following his participation in a tag team match, before grabbing a microphone...

Jeff Hardy: This is what you wanted, huh Matt?....... Well I hope you are ready, because at Wrestlemania, I'm taking it to the EXXTREEEEEMEEEEEEE......

Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy

Jeff makes his way out first and he looks fired up. Matt comes out and the moment his second foot hits the inside of the ring, Jeff rushes him and clobbers him down into the corner. Jeff really lays into his brother, pounding him down in the corner with multiple right hands before tossing him to the outside. Jeff is back on top of Matt before he's even come to a stop, and throws Matt into the barricades, then the steel steps before shouting 'Is this what you want Matt?'. Jeff waits for Matt to get up and jumps up to the barricades, running around the top of them before taking Matt down with a diving clothesline. Jeff is pumped up and paces around the ring like a wild animal as the emotions start to hit him a little. Jeff takes his time, a little too much in fact, as Matt smashes him across the top of the head with a kendo stick grabbed from under the ring as Jeff stopped the assault for just a few seconds. Matt gets to his feet and stops, staring down at Jeff with a look of complete indifference before raising the kendo stick and whacking Jeff across the back with it half a dozen times until it breaks into pieces. Matt throws Jeff into the ring and continues the assault, mounting Jeff and hitting some measured blows before getting to his feet. Matt hauls Jeff up and whips him to the ropes and goes for a clothesline; Jeff ducks and hits a clothesline of his own. Jeff bounces off the ropes again and looks for another clothesline but Matt takes him down with a well placed dropkick before taking control with a chinlock. Jeff fights out after about 30 seconds, using his elbow to fight out, and goes to run to the ropes only for Matt to grab his hair and send him slamming down to the canvas. Matt hits a legdrop across Jeff's throat before dropping a knee to Jeff's forehead then driving his forearm and elbow across Jeff's face. Matt drags Jeff up and looks for a Twist Of Fate, but Jeff counters and throws Matt to the outside as he finds a second wind. Jeff goes outside and grabs a kendo stick of his own, smashing it over Matt's back and legs before tossing it away. Jeff looks under the ring and grabs a steel chair, throwing into the ring before going back to pull out a trashcan which he also tosses over the ropes. Jeff hits a few punches on Matt before rolling him back into the ring and sliding in alongside him. Jeff picks up the trashcan and slams it into Matt's head as he turns. Jeff climbs the turnbuckle, pausing to consider his actions for a few seconds, before soaring through the air in hope of hitting a Swanton Bomb. Matt rolls out of the way and Jeff lands hard on his back, and both Hardy's are down for the next 20 seconds or so. Jeff stirs first and stumbles over towards Matt, grabbing him by the hair to lift him up, but Matt suddenly swings the steel chair right into Jeff's face, having crawled over to it and waiting for Jeff to make his move. Matt makes the cover.....1....2...no! Jeff kicks out. The pair trade punches, Matt hitting most of them before hitting some hard forearms. Matt takes control, grounding Jeff and driving his knee into the side of Jeff's head, a vicious look on his face as he does so. Matt hauls his brother up and takes him down with a clothesline, then another before hitting a dropkick. Matt is taking charge and stalks Jeff, wriggling his fingers on both hands as he measures Jeff up. Jeff stumbles towards his brother and gets kicked in the gut before looking for a Twist Of Fate, but Jeff counters and pushes Matt away before grabbing the steel chair quickly and smashing it over Matt's skull as he runs back towards him. Jeff quickly climbs the turnbuckle but again pauses, although the reasons are soon evidently different to the first time. He climbs down and rolls out of the ring, looking underneath the apron cover and pulling out a ladder, much to the crowds pleasure. But this is no ordinary ladder, it keeps coming and coming until what must be a 20 foot ladder appears. Jeff slides it into the ring and sets it up near the corner, climbing it nimbly to about 4 rungs from the top. He pauses, moves up 2 more rungs as the crowd cheer louder, but thinks again and climbs one more rung, just one rung now from the very top. Jeff lets out a scream as he throws his arms to the side in signature fashion before using his hands on the top rung to leapfrog himself over the top of the ladder and down towards Matt, a 20 foot legdrop across Matt's throat his only thought...... but Matt rolls away, Jeff narrowly missing him and landing hard on his lower back. Matt rolls to the outside and slowly pulls himself up before rooting around under the ring. He pulls out a table, some of the fans cheering at the sight of it despite the obvious threat to Jeff. Matt slides it into the ring and climbs in before setting it up a few feet in front of the ladder. Matt drags Jeff up but Jeff pushes Matt back into the ladder. Jeff charges but Matt dodges and Jeff hits the ladder. Matt pushes Jeff up the ladder and joins him about 6 rungs up before wrapping his arm around him and turning around...... Side Effect through the table...... Matt takes his share of damage and slowly makes the cover....1....2....no! Jeff kicks out again and Matt is visibly frustrated. Matt hauls Jeff up and looks for a Twist Of Fate again, but again Jeff counters, pushing Matt forward into the turnbuckle and running right past Matt, stepping up the turnbuckle and hitting a Whisper In The Wind. Both men are down for a good few moments before Jeff makes the tired cover, Matt kicking out on 2 + 1/2. Both men slowly get up and Jeff hits a quick Twist Of Fate. He then rolls outside and grabs another table which he slides into the ring. Jeff sets it up and hauls Matt to his feet, pushing him onto the table and punching him several times in the head to make sure he stays there. Jeff climbs the huge ladder in the corner, and gets about 3/4 of the way up, again letting out a scream before looking to hit a Swanton Bomb to Matt, but once again, Matt rolls away, off the table and to the canvas as Jeff Swanton's straight through the table. Matt slowly gets up and, somehow, Jeff does too. Jeff stumbles around and Matt smashes him with a steel chair. Jeff drops to a knee but is helped right back up by Matt, who wraps his arm around Jeff's head and moves a few steps towards the trashcan. Matt lets out a scream this time, and hits a Twist Of Fate to Jeff, right on top of the already contorted trashcan. Matt makes the cover.....1.....2....3!

Winner: Matt Hardy

JR: Matt Hardy has done what he set out to do here tonight, defeating his brother and in his mind at least, proving that he is better than Jeff Hardy...

Michael Cole: What an effort by both men, Jeff putting his body on the line on more than one occasion....

King: I think that's exactly why he lost, Michael, he kept going for the big moves, and every time, Matt rolled out of the way....

JR: Whatever the reasons, a huge victory for Matt Hardy over his brother Jeff, here at Wrestlemania......

Michael Cole: Well another man looking for a big win tonight, Finlay looking to become the new ECW Champion for the first time in is long career, hre against the brash young champion Jack Swagger......

A video rolls showing the feud between Jack Swagger and Finlay.

Brief clips from the Royal Rumble PPV where Swagger beat Finlay in a title match, using Finlay's son Hornswoggle to distract Finlay enough to pick up the victory...

Clips from the final of the ECW Championship Number One Contenders Tournament just under 3 weeks ago, where Finlay defeated Ricky Ortiz as Jack Swagger watched from the announce table. Finlay signals he will be the next ECW Champion, only for Swagger to sneak into the ring and attack him...

Clips from the following week of ECW where Jack Swagger faced Tommy Dreamer in a match that if Dreamer lost, he would retire. Swagger headed into the match unbeaten in singles competition, but Finlay interfered and caused Swagger to lose with a shillelagh shot to the skull...

Clips from last weeks ECW where Swagger demanded Finlay be excluded from Wrestlemania only for Teddy Long to make a Finlay/Dreamer vs Swagger/Mark Henry main event. We see Tony Atlas distract Finlay by threatening Hornswoggle, allowing Swagger to hit the Gutwrench Powerbomb. The champion wasn't done, though, grabbing his title from ringside and smashing the Irishman in the skull with it, before proudly standing over him with the title held high...

Jack Swagger © vs Finlay (w/ Hornswoggle)

With Swagger out first, Finlay makes his way to the ring with Hornswoggle, but when they reach the ring Finlay bends down and asks Hornswoggle to go backstage. The little fella wants to stay but Finlay tells him he doesn't him to get hurt and pleads with him to go backstage. Hornswoggle turns to walk up the ramp but Swagger takes advantage of the situation and rolls out of the ring to clobber Finlay in the back. Swagger throws Finlay into the steps and the match hasn't even started. Swagger throws Finlay into the ring and the referee calls for the bell with Swagger quickly making a cover. Finlay easily kicks out but Swagger is all over him. Swagger controls Finlay for a good few minutes, hitting Finlay with his best moves, including a couple of German Suplexes and a couple of Vertical Suplexes before trapping him in an Abdominal Stretch. Swagger punches at Finlay's gut to further stretch the Irishman and even grabs the ropes with the referee unsighted, letting go when the official moves to check. Swagger gets away with it twice before being caught and forced to break the hold. Swagger argues briefly before throwing Finlay down to the mat. Swagger lifts Finlay to his feet and whips him to the ropes, the Irishman exploding with a clothesline to knock the champion over. Finlay bounces off the ropes again looking to hit another clothesline, but Swagger ducks and quickly applies the Abdominal Stretch once again. Finlay has barely hit any offence after a good 5 minutes of the match, thanks to Swagger's pre-match attack, but he shows his spirit by somehow maneuvering himself into a position to hit a back suplex. Finlay isn't able to follow up and gets up at the same time as Swagger who quickly subdues him with punches, knocking him to the corner before pounding him down with vicious punch after vicious punch. Swagger gets extremely cocky given his relative dominance, and takes a few seconds to parade about with a big grin on his face as he waits for Finlay to get up. Finlay does get up, slowly, and Swagger runs at Finlay, hitting him with a huge clothesline. Finlay kicks out of a pin as Swagger goes back to basics, grounding Finlay in a Front Facelock. Finlay battles up to his feet and punches at Swagger's gut to break the hold, hitting a few rights and bouncing off the ropes. Swagger goes for a clothesline but misses and Finlay takes him down on the way back with a Big Boot, although once again the Irishman is unable to capitalise swiftly. The pair trade blows before Finlay ducks a punch and hits a clothesline before hitting some bruising uppercuts as he looks to impose himself on the match. He looks to whip Swagger to the ropes, but it's countered and Swagger swings an arm at Finlay's head. He ducks and kicks Swagger in the gut before nailing a DDT. Finlay is in this match now, and makes a cover that Swagger comfortably kicks out of. Finlay seats Swagger on the turnbuckle and hits some powerful blows before climbing to the second turnbuckle and looking for a suplex. Swagger blocks and punches Finlay in the gut, then a few times in the face until Finlay falls on his back. Swagger climbs down and looks to hit a Corner Slingshot Splash.... but Finlay rolls towards the corner and Swagger lands hard on his front. Finlay quickly goes for an Oklahoma Roll.....1.....2....no! The Champion kicks out just in time. Both men get up and Swagger explodes with a well placed forearm to Finlay's face before whipping him to the opposite corner and charging at him with a shoulder to the gut.... but Finlay dodges it and Swagger goes shoulder first into the steel ringpost. Finlay quickly goes for a rollup.... 1....2....no! Swagger again just kicks out in time. Both men are up and Finlay hauls Swagger to the corner where he slams his head against the turnbuckle before hitting some hard forearms. Finlay backs off as Swagger stumbles out and looks for the Celtic Cross, but Swagger counters into a Gutwrench Powerbomb position, lifting Finlay up.... who counters into a huge DDT! Finlay makes the cover....1....2.... Swagger kicks out! Finlay looks frustrated and doesn't go back on the attack immediately, taking his time to walk over towards Swagger, who grabs Finlay into a Small Package from out of nowhere.....1.....2.... kickout! Finlay just escapes and the pair get up with Swagger dropping Finlay with a big clothesline. Swagger picks Finlay up and whips him to the corner, following it up with a clothesline against the turnbuckle. He grabs Finlay and whips him back to the opposite corner and looks for the clothesline again but Finlay lifts a foot up into his face... Swagger reels back but shakes the cobwebs away and charges Finlay again, the Irishman hitting a dropkick to Swagger's knee that sees him fall face first into the middle turnbuckle. Swagger gets up, dazed and turns around as Finlay scoops him up on his shoulders....... Celtic Cross...... 1........2........3!!!! Finlay has done it!

Winner And New ECW Champion: Finlay

JR: Finlay does it, Finlay is the new ECW Champion...

King: Finlay looks so delighted and so he should be, but he didn't have it all his own way.....

Finlay celebrates with the title as Hornswoggle excitedly runs to the ring. He slides in and father and son embrace before Finlay lifts Hornswoggle onto his shoulders before walking around with the title held high......

Michael Cole: Jack Swagger showing why he's been so hard to beat, but Finlay can finally say he is the ECW Champion.......

We cut backstage where Todd Grisham is standing by......

Todd Grisham: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho, and Chris, later on tonight you will defend your World Title against both Randy Orton and John Cena, and I have to ask.....

Chris Jericho: What do you have to ask, Todd?....... Are you going to ask me how I'm going to try and beat two of the biggest superstars in the WWE today? Are you going to ask me what my strategy is? The only question you should be asking me is if I think it's fair that I should be made to defend my title against 2 superstars at Wrestlemania. I have a question to ask, Todd, and that is just what in the hell is Randy Orton still doing even in the WWE? Randy Orton should have been fired the second he punted Vince McMahon in the skull, not allowed to just stroll around as if nothing happened. And as for John Cena, he didn't even make it to the last 2 in the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out, so he doesn't even deserve a shot at my World Title..... but despite all of that, Todd, not one single bit of it is going to matter, when I walk out of Wrestlemania tonight still holding my World Heavyweight Championship........

Michael Cole: Chris Jericho never one to beat around the bush....

The unmistakable bell ringing sound signals the arrival of JBL, who walks out from backstage with his usual cocky swagger.....

Michael Cole: ...And here comes another man who has no trouble when it comes to opening his mouth, JBL!

King: The fans not exactly giving JBL the best reception here, and JBL was born here in Texas!

JR: I think a lot of fans here want to see JBL made to shut up, and I am not ashamed to say I'm one of them.....

JBL is in the ring awaiting his opponent.......

JR: IT'S NAITCH!!

King: The legendary 'Nature Boy', but what's he doing out here?

Ric Flair appears from backstage holding a microphone, as JBL hurriedly demands he be passed one from ringside......

Ric Flair: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

JBL: What the hell are you doing out here flair! You have no business.....

Ric Flair: Shut the hell up, JBL you punk!....... You wanna know why I'm out here, huh? I am out here, JBL, to watch you get that smug, ridiculous smile wiped off your stupid face....... I am out here to watch you get, how do you say it...., your ass handed to you boy, by 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.....

JBL: Is that right?.....

Ric Flair: That's right...

JBL: Well unfortunately for you, Flair, that isn't going to happen, as a matter of fact I am going to make you and Austin look like the embarrassments you are when I pound Austin into the canvas and break his neck once and for all....

Ric Flair: Really.... well why don't we see just what Austin thinks about that.....

<object width="200" height="160"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnPFKmFovb8&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnPFKmFovb8&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="200" height="160"></embed></object>

The crowd erupt as Austin makes his way out from backstage on his Austin 3:16 quad bike, slowing down briefly to smile and nod at Flair before speeding down the ramp and circling the ring several times. Flair makes his way to the ring keeping his distance. Austin parks up and enters the ring, climbing the turnbuckles and getting the crowd pumped as he has always done, before walking up to JBL and going face to face. JBL raises the microphone as he leans forward to look Austin directly in the eyes.....

JBL: This is going to be the biggest mistake of your life, Austin, you are going to wish you had never crossed me. I meant what I said to Flair, I'm not just going to beat you, Austin, I'm going to embarrass you and when I'm done making you look foolish, I am going to break your neck and put you out of your misery......

JBL suddenly knocks Austin down to one knee with an almighty punch, before turning and throwing his microphone to the outside as he waits for the referee to ring the bell.........

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n31/sebsyboy/WIABA%20MANIA%20PICS/th_JBLWMBG.jpgvshttp://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n31/sebsyboy/WIABA%20MANIA%20PICS/th_SteveAustinWMBG.jpg

JBL vs 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin (w/ Ric Flair)

The referee is quick to ring the bell with JBL having got things started with the cheap blow, and JBL stares intensely as he waits for Austin to get up. 'The Rattlesnake' gets to his feet and JBL charges at him looking to hit a Clothesline From Hell..... Austin ducks and JBL turns in surprise.... Austin kicks JBL in the gut....... Stone Cold Stunner!!!!!!!! 1....2....3!!!!!

Winner: 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin

King: It's over already!!!

JR: Stone Cold.... Stone Cold... Stone Cold........ I couldn't help myself guys.....

Michael Cole: I know we're meant to be unbiased, but I have to say I enjoyed that.....

King: JBL is going to be so embarrassed, when he eventually wakes up, after all the pre-match talk about how he was going to make Austin look foolish, he loses the match in what? under a minute?

JR: 'The Rattlesnake' certainly struck quickly here tonight!!!!

Austin celebrates in the ring in usual style, calling for the beers as he stands atop the turnbuckle. He climbs down and hands one to Flair who has joined him in the ring, and the pair smash cans sending beer all over the place before Austin goes back to calling for more as we fade backstage.....

Todd Grisham: Ladies and gentlemen, I am now here with one of the challengers in the Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Title match later tonight, John Cena. John, how do you feel going into your match tonight against the champion Chris Jericho and a man who you have a long history with in Randy Orton?......

John Cena: Todd..... I've been stood here plenty of times with you and talked about how I'm going to go out there and do what I do best, but tonight...... hell this is Wrestlemania, Todd........... Every single superstar is looking to put in the performance of their lives tonight and I'm no different, but tonight it's going to take something extra special and I have to admit, I'm feeling confident. Last year at Wrestlemania 24 I was involved in a match not too dissimilar to this, and that night Randy Orton walked out with the WWE Championship, but tonight is going to be different. Randy Orton is not going to be walking out as the World Champion, and neither is Chris Jericho, and I've said it before but I'll say it again, when tonight is over, I will be the one who gets to walk out on RAW tomorrow night and say that the champ.....is....heeeereeeee!

We head back into the arena for the next match of the evening......

Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase © vs Cryme Tyme

The Champions look as confident as ever, despite not having Randy Orton or David Smith at their side, as they look to get through their first title defence successfully. Cryme Tyme get the better of the champions in the early going as JTG hits some quick moves whilst Shad provides the power. Rhodes gets thrown around the ring early on until DiBiase casually enters the ring to clobber JTG with a forearm. He is quickly removed by the referee but the interference allows Rhodes to rake JTG's eyes before making the tag. DiBiase comes in and pounds on JTG, mixing in some ground holds to take control of the match. He and Rhodes make some quick tags as they work JTG over, never letting him get in his half of the ring for a sniff of a tag. JTG does manage to hit a desperate kick to Rhodes head but he manages to fall towards DiBiase and make the tag, DiBiase preventing JTG from making the tag just in time. The champs continue to dominate for the next couple of minutes but JTG digs deep and hits a diving leg lariat to DiBiase after being whipped to the ropes. JTG has taken a beating though, and is slow to capitalise. DiBiase starts to move first and crawls to his corner, tagging in Rhodes, but JTG suddenly makes one last leap to tag in Shad, who runs in and takes Rhodes down with a big clothesline. Shad explodes with another huge clothesline followed by a massive Big Boot that sends Rhodes crashing down. DiBiase runs in and clatters Shad but then gets taken out by JTG with a Crossbody that sees both men fall to the outside. Rhodes sneaks up behind Shad and waits for him to turn, kicking him in the gut when he does and setting up the Cross Rhodes. Shad counters and pushes Rhodes to the ropes and stoops to lift him onto his shoulders just as JTG slides back into the ring and bounces off the ropes..... G9!!!!! Shad makes the cover.... 1....2....3!!!!

Winners And New World Tag Team Champions: Cryme Tyme

JR: They've done it! What a victory for the boys from Brooklyn

Michael Cole: Cryme Tyme can finally call themselves World Tag Team Champions, King!

King: Yes! they've knocked at the door on several previous occasions but they could not have asked to finally go that extra step on a grander stage than here at Wrestlemania 25....

Cryme Tyme delightedly celebrate as the fans cheer their win....

We cut backstage where Big Show is dressed ready to leave the arena, when he is approached by Edge.......

Edge: Leaving huh? Oh I see you didn't win the Money In The Bank Ladder match tonight, what a shame, and that's the difference between me and you, Show. You could have been a part of all this tonight, you could have been in the main event at Wrestlemania 25, but instead you're leaving before the main event even takes place...... whereas I will be leaving as the new WWE Champion when I beat Triple H.....

Edge turns dismissively away from Big Show and makes his exit as Show just rubs his jaw thoughtfully and gets into his car to leave the arena.....

We head to the locker room of Legacy, where Randy Orton is pacing around with Rhodes and DiBiase stood in the background as well as David Smith who is sat on a bench.....

Cody Rhodes: They got lucky, Randy......

Ted DiBiase: Randy, look we're sorry for losing tonight, I know you wanted us all to walk out on RAW tomorrow as champions, it's just.....

Randy Orton: QUIET!.....

Orton turns and puts his hands on Rhodes and DiBiase's shoulders.....

Randy Orton: Look, don't worry about it, that doesn't matter now... what matters is that I walk out of Wrestlemania 25 as World Heavyweight Champion... and you guys are going to make sure that happens.....

JR: Randy Orton putting his plans into place as he looks to become the new World Heavyweight Champion, but I'm sure he'll have one eye on the WWE Champion who is just moments away from defending his title against Edge, who has vowed to take advantage of the situation between The 'Legend Killer' and Triple H and walk out as the new WWE Champion.... let's take a look at what has been an intense rivalry between 'The Game' and The 'Rated R Superstar'......

Clips from No Way Out where Triple H won the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber, a match where Edge was eliminated early on by Jeff Hardy...

Three weeks later on Smackdown, after Randy Orton had announced he was challenging Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship, Vickie announces that Edge will challenge for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 25 against whoever was the WWE Champion...

On the 800th episode of Smackdown, Triple H is taunted by Edge following an interview, The 'Rated R Superstar' making some vicious comments about Randy Orton's attack on his wife Stephanie. Triple H flips and batters Edge before being restrained by officials...

Later that night Triple H defends his WWE Championship against The Big Show inside the Steel Cage. Show looks to have the match won as he walks towards the open cage door, only for it to be smashed back into his face by Edge, who had his own issues with Big Show...

The next week Triple H has a match against Mark Henry and is attacked by Edge, who hits him with a Spear before hitting a con-chair-to on the champion...

2 nights ago, the contract signing between Triple H and Edge where both men quickly sign the contract only for Edge to make some more disparaging remarks about Stephanie's attack at the hands of Randy Orton. Triple H is again less than impressed and leaps over the table to attack Edge, only being restrained when a dozen officials rush to the ring. Triple H breaks free a couple of times to further assault Edge as the video fades out...

Edge makes his way to the ring first, surveying his surroundings with a smug look. The crowd are on their feet as Triple H's music blasts out into the arena and 'The Game' makes his way to the ring, staring at Edge all the way from the top of the ramp to being in the ring. The referee holds the WWE Title up after briefly talking to both men, and hands it to the timekeeper before ringing the bell......

Triple H © vs Edge

The bell sounds at the behest of the official and Triple H takes Edge completely by surprise with a Thesz Press, 'The Game' mounting him and hammering him with some vicious rights as Edge desperately tries to cover up. Triple H gets up and drags Edge up by the hair and pushes him into the corner where he continues to rain down blow after blow. Edge is dazed as Triple H rips into him, kicking his ass all across the ring, kneeing him in the gut, more punches, the Triple H whips Edge to the ropes and takes him down with a Harley Race like knee. Triple H goes for another Irish Whip. it's countered and Edge stoops for a back bodydrop but Triple H hits a Facebreaker Knee Smash followed by a huge Spinebuster!!!! Triple H flexes his arms and roars but turns back to find Edge has managed to roll to the outside and relative safety. Triple H is hot on his tail, sliding out of the ring as Edge tries to crawl away. 'The Game' lifts Edge up by the hair and lays into him with some rights before whipping him shoulder first into the steel ringsteps. Triple H rolls in to break the refs count and rolls back out as Edge again tries desperately to crawl away, only to find himself being driven kidney first against the barricades. Triple H throws Edge back into the ring and carries on the attack, dropping a knee to the sternum and making the cover, which Edge kicks out of at 2.

Triple H has dominated so far and drags Edge to his feet after the unsuccessful cover, but Edge hits a desperate punch before looking to whip 'The Game' to the turnbuckle. Triple H counters it and switches momentum to whip Edge into the corner they were coming out of. The referee was not expecting it and is trapped in the corner as Edge steams towards him but The 'Rated R Superstar' manages to put the brakes on just in time. Edge steps back and turns just as Triple H looks to take him down with a clothesline but Edge ducks.... but he too manages to avoid nailing the ref. Triple H turns around and Edge explodes towards him, Trips dodges him and Edge scythes the official down with a Spear!!!! Edge looks down at the referee as he runs his hands through his hair. He turns and is kicked in the gut........

JR: Pedigree!!!!

King: Oooh, low blow, by Edge!

Triple H collapses after the cheap shot, Edge taking the only way out he could find. He is slow to capitalise after the beating he's taken early on but eventually gets to his feet. Triple H slowly staggers up to his feet moments later....

JR: SPEAR!!!!

Michael Cole: We're going to have a new WWE Champion! Edge makes the cover...

King: There's no-one to make the count! The referee hasn't moved since he took the full brunt of that Spear...

Edge is clearly frustrated and pulls Trips up by his hair, hitting several punches before whipping him to the ropes and taking him down with a Big Boot. Edge shakes the referee to get him to come around but he's out and Edge just pushes him under the rope to the outside. He heads up top and hits Triple H with a Missile Dropkick before crouching down in the corner.....

King: Edge setting up for another Spear...

Michael Cole: Triple H is up, here comes Edge......

JR: No, 'The Game' counters with a kick right to the face of Edge.. an... and Triple H going for a Pedigree... yes! Pedigree!!!!

Triple H is slow to make the cover but manages to crawl over to Edge and weakly hook the leg.......

JR: But there is still not referee, wait... another referee running to the ring.....

King: Hurry up ref!...

JR: He's made it....

JR: No, Edge kicks out!

Triple H can't believe it, he'd have had this won but for the lack of a referee. He slowly gets up and drags Edge to his feet and nails him with some rights that knock him into the corner. Irish Whip by Trips and Edge slams into the opposite turnbuckle, Triple H follows it up with a hard Falling Clothesline and makes a cover, Edge rolling a shoulder out somehow. Triple H hauls Edge up once more and whips him to the ropes looking for another big clothesline, Edge ducks, turns and takes Trips out at the knee with a chop block, taking a page right out of 'The Games' book. Triple H stumbles to the ropes and falls across the middle rope, Edge takes advantage and charges to hit a flying Crossbody across the back of Triple H. Edge waits for Triple H to get back up and hits a perfect dropkick before making another cover. Triple H kicks out just in time and Edge is certain he got the 3. He gets tp his feet and argues with the referee, holding up 3 fingers in protest. He runs his hands through his hair and stares angrily at the official before turning around just as Triple H launches at him with a huge clothesline. Edge ducks and Triple H smashes the official, sending him down to the canvas. Triple H gets up from the collision and turns into a kick to the gut from Edge who quickly hits an Impaler DDT. You can see the cogs turning in Edge's head as he ponders his next move, choosing to roll to the outside knowing there is no referee to make the count. Edge walks towards the timekeepers area and shouts at the timekeeper to get up, before taking his steel chair. Edge gets back into the ring and walks slowly towards Triple H licking his lips. Edge raises the chair above his head......

King: This isn't looking good for Tr....

JR: Wa... oh Spinebuster by the champion..... Triple H sensing the danger and exploding with a huge Spinebuster to Edge..... an........ and now he's going for The Pedigree...... No! Back Bodydrop by Edge

Triple H gets up and turns, and Edge Flapjacks him up and right down onto the chair. Edge has taken some punishment and takes a second to paw at his aching body before striding towards Triple H and grabbing his hair, but Triple H trips Edge up and grabs both legs.....

JR: OH! Triple H looking for the Figure Four.... can he lock it in..... he can, Figure Four Leglock by the champion in the middle of the ring.....

Edge is in trouble and has nowhere to go, the pain clear on his face......

King: He's tapping!

JR: But again there is no referee!

Edge stops tapping and has his hands on his head as he struggles for a way out, he looks around and starts dragging himself towards the ropes, inching very slowly towards them, but he reaches out for the steel chair that he brought in earlier and gets a finger on it, and just manages to pull it towards him......

JR: Triple H has got this locked in, but wait, Edge has got the steel chair..... Ooooohh, huge shot to the skull of the champion.....

Triple H falls back and rolls onto his chest after taking a steel chair shot right to the skull and Edge escapes the submission hold, although his legs are clearly in pain. He stumbles to his feet, hobbling around for a few moments before picking up the steel chair and raising it above his head......

King: What a shot across the back of Triple H.... and another, and again.....

Edge hits half a dozen hard shots with the steel chair across the back of Triple H before dropping the weapon and falling to his knees. Edge lifts Triple H's head up and stares at him for a second before sliding the chair underneath his face and dropping his head back down. Edge rolls back to the outside and grabs another chair from ringside before climbing back into the ring and standing ominously over the champion. He raises the chair above his head and takes a look around at the crowd as they all boo loudly.....

JR: Come on Edge, can't you do this the honest way.....

Michael Cole: Con-chair-to!!!!

King: And look at this....

We see Vickie Guerrero appear from backstage ordering a third referee to run to the ring as Edge lies across Triple H and hooks both legs, looking around as the official runs quickly down the long ramp towards the ring.......

JR: Come on 'Game'.....

JR: Edge, The 'Ultimate Opportunist' does it again to win the WWE Title.......

Edge rolls off Triple H and moves up to a kneeling position as the referee is handed the WWE Title from ringside. He walks over and places it in the hands of Edge as we flick to a shot of Vickie Guerrero clapping at the top of the stage with a big smile on her face......

JR: Edge doing what he always does, taking advantage of a situation in any way possible and coming out on top.....

King: What a match it was, both men could have won it early on but for the referee being down but I was sure Triple H had it won when he locked in that Figure Four Leglock.....

Edge slowly gets to his feet, still cradling the WWE Title in his arms as he looks down at it almost lovingly....

Michael Cole: Edge even tapped out but once again there was no referee to make the call.....

JR: Wait a minute..... OH.....

Edge suddenly slumps to the floor.....

King: What the.....

JR: IT'S MR KENNEDY!!!!!! and he's just smashed Edge in the back of the head with the Money In The Bank briefcase......

Michael Cole: And Mr Kennedy handing the briefcase to the referee.....

Kennedy is pumped up, shouting at the referee to get a move on. The official walks to the ropes and says something to Lilian Garcia as he hands her the briefcase......

Lilian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is for the WWE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!

King: I don't believe it!

Winner And New WWE Champion: Mr Kennedy

Mr Kennedy is handed the WWE Title by the official, slumping to his knees as it sinks in what he's just done.....

King: I never saw this coming, JR!

Michael Cole: Mr Kennedy became the first man to win two Money In The Bank Ladder matches earlier on tonight, and now he wins his first major title in the WWE!!!!!

JR: Half of the packed out crowd are cheering, the rest are totally stunned, as am I....

We see a shot of Vickie Guerrero still standing at the top of the ramp, her head in her hands as she looks on in disbelief...

Mr Kennedy gets to his feet and climbs the turnbuckle, proudly holding up the WWE Championship and enjoying every second of it as the fans continue to cheer loudly...

JR: What a night it has been for Mr Kennedy.... the new WWE Champion!

We fade backstage where Cryme Tyme are walking along a corridor smiling away and talking about their big victory when they suddenly stop, the corridor becoming bathed in a red glow as the music of The Boogeyman starts to play and he suddenly appears from inside a portable rubbish bin. He looks at the pair with a weird smile before pulling out a handful of worms...

JTG and Shad look at each other and shrug...

Cryme Tyme's music plays and the pair start swaggering, but more bizarrely, so does Boogeyman who really gets into it...

JTG & Shad Gaspard: He got worms worms yeh yeh, he got worms worms yeh yeh, he got worms worms yeh yeh...

Boogey stuffs a handful of worms into his mouth before joining in...

The Boogeyman: I got worms worms yeh yeh, I got worms worms yeh yeh...

Cryme Tyme smile and start laughing as they continue on their walk, Boogey continuing to get down and eat worms...

Michael Cole: What the hell... haha

King: Did that really just happen?

JR: The Boogeyman there folks.... well, boogeying, I guess with the new World Tag Team Champions Cryme Tyme...

King: Man that was weird hahaha.....

We cut to another backstage location where Vickie Guerrero is with Edge, fawning over him as a doctor helps him into the medical room...

Vickie Guerrero: Oh baby......

The doctor closes the door and Vickie turns around, right into Triple H who is walking down the corridor with a face like thunder...

Vickie Guerrero: You.... where do you think you're going...

Triple H stares intensely at Vickie...

Triple H: Don't worry, I couldn't care less about Edge, I'm going to find Randy Orton...

Triple H starts to walk but Vickie puts her hand on his chest to stop him...

Vickie Guerrero: Stop..... no way Triple H, as Smackdown General Manager it is my duty to control the Smackdown locker room and I am ordering you to keep away from Randy Orton tonight, if you so much as think about laying a finger on Randy Orton and compromising the RAW World Title match, I will suspend you indefinitely...

'The Game' looks at Vickie with a stern stare...

Triple H: Ok... fine... I won't lay a hand on Orton... tonight...

Triple H barges past Vickie and out of shot as we head back into the arena...

Lilian Garcia: Please welcome on stage, the inductees into the 2009 WWE Hall Of Fame!!!!!!

The HOF music plays and out steps 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat, 'Cowboy' Bill Watts, Koko B. Ware, Howard 'The Fink' Finkel, Terry and Dory Funk Jr, representing the Von Erich's - Kevin Von Erich and finally, representing Owen Hart - his brother-in-law Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart. After being introduced one by one by Lilian Garcia, the HOF'ers leave the stage to rapturous applause...

We suddenly cut backstage where a slew of officials and backstage workers rush along a corridor, and the camera finally gets in place to show Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase and David Smith, all flat out on the floor, presumably having been attacked. Randy Orton appears, checking worriedly on his pals before looking up, gulping and getting an angry look as the camera pans to the direction of his stare. A seething, heavy breathing Triple H is stood staring hard at the bodies of the Legacy members, and Randy Orton. Triple H shoots a look at Orton before turning and making his exit, Orton taking a second to make sure he's gone before looking back and checking on the injured trio...

JR: Well, Triple H may have been ordered not to lay a hand on Orton tonight, but he has certainly made sure it's going to be a level playing field for the World Heavyweight Championship match coming up next. Let's take a look at the build up to this Triple Threat match between Orton, John Cena and the champion.... Chris Jericho...

We see clips of Orton's assault on Vince McMahon the week before the Royal Rumble, and then a clip of Jericho telling Orton he doesn't expect him to be in the WWE much longer. We then see Orton winning the Royal Rumble match...

We see clips of Chris Jericho being victorious inside the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out...

Next is the moment Randy Orton made his decision to face Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 25, only for Stephanie McMahon to come out and announce that she would be adding John Cena to the match as he has not yet had his rematch since losing the title at No Way Out...

Clips from the forthcoming weeks of Orton getting increasingly annoyed as Stephanie looks to make him pay for what he has done to her father and brother, only for Orton to sink to vile new depths, by punting Stephanie in the skull...

Shots of each man getting the better of the other two over the last 3 episodes of RAW leading upto Wrestlemania, ending with Chris Jericho hitting a Codebreaker on Cena as Orton is chased off by Triple H...

We fade back into the arena where John Cena is first out, bouncing energetically around the stage as he salutes his fans. Randy Orton is out next, staring straight ahead as he makes his way to the ring, The 'Legend Killer' zoned in and ready for the match. Finally, out steps the champion, Chris Jericho walking out and sneering at the booing fans before strutting towards the ring with his usual air of confidence. Having held the title high in the air, the official hands it to the timekeeper and rings for the bell...

Chris Jericho © vs Randy Orton vs John Cena

All three men look at each other cautiously before Jericho looks at Orton in a way that suggests they pair up on Cena. Orton seems to agree and the pair walk towards Cena only for Orton to pause and push Jericho forward as Cena kicks him in the gut. Cena hits a few rights on Jericho and turns his back on Orton who sneaks up, grabs Cena and hits an Inverted Backbreaker before pulling Jericho down for a cover, the champion kicking out at just 1. Orton turns his attentions to Cena, hitting him with some punches before Jericho confronts him and The 'Legend Killer' hits a European Uppercut before going to work on the champion. The next few minutes see the three men trading blows as they all seek to take control, but as is the case in this match type, it's hard to do unless you can take an opponent right out of the game. Moments later, Cena is knocked down by an Orton clothesline, and hauls himself up on the apron only for Jericho to knock him right to the floor with a Springboard Dropkick. Orton is right on top of Jericho the moment he gets up and The Legend Killer' takes control of the champion, shunting him to a corner and raining down blows before whipping him to the ropes and taking him down with a perfectly executed Dropkick. Orton grounds Jericho in a Body Scissors before Jericho fights out and hits a few punches before Orton takes him back down with a falling clothesline. Orton looks like he's really enjoying being in control of the champion and lifts Jericho up but the champ knocks his hands away and hits some rights before bouncing iff the ropes at Orton who hits a snap scoop slam before making a cover for 2. Orton helps Jericho up again and looks to throw him out of the ring, turning his back and not seeing that Jericho has landed on the apron. Orton turns and Jericho Hangmans Orton on the ropes. Jericho takes his time and gets back on the apron, entering through the top two ropes but Orton is alert and kicks him in the gut before wrapping his arm around Jericho's head and planting him off the middle rope with a rope hung DDT! Orton looks down maniacally, his eyes wide and dark, but he doesn't go for a cover, something takes him over and he backs off to the corner....

JR: Orton looking to turn out Jericho's lights...

King: Orton with the punt...

Michael Cole: No! John Cena takes Orton down...

King: Where did he come from?

Cena slid in just in time to take Orton down, catching him by surprise. Cena unloads on Orton on the mat and as the pair both get up, Orton swings at Cena who ducks and hits a twisting side slam suplex before quickly doing a 'you can't see me' wave and bouncing off the ropes. Cena drops the knuckles onto Orton's forehead and lifts the 'Legend Killer' up onto his shoulders as he stumbles to his feet. Orton somehow uses his weight to make Cena stagger towards the ropes and Orton grabs the top rope so Cena drops him throat first across the top rope before pushing him to the corner. Cena is really in control and lifts Orton onto the second turnbuckle before hitting him in the gut and climbing up to the second turnbuckle. Cena is looking for a suplex from the second turnbuckle but Jericho is up and gets under Cena and into a Powerbomb position. Jericho powerbombs Cena who in turn suplexes Orton from a great height and all 3 men crash and burn. Orton takes the brunt of the impact with Cena not exactly having a good time of it whilst Jericho also reels from the move. The champion is first up though, and makes a cover on Cena who kicks out, then Jericho covers Orton who also rolls a shoulder. Orton is hurt from the impact and instinctively rolls to the outside after kicking out as Jericho concentrates on Cena, locking him in an armbar and wrenching on his arm. Cena fights up to his feet and breaks the hold before running to the ropes, only for Jericho to take him down with a spinning heel kick. Jericho gets up, looks at Cena and looks at the ropes before going for a Lionsault. Cena rolls out of the way but Jericho lands on his feet and Cena turns straight into a Enzuigiri. Jericho makes the cover but Cena kicks out.

Jericho looks down at Cena with derision as he struts around the ring, pulling him up by his hair and punching him before whipping him to the ropes. Cena counters with a flying shoulderblock, and another.... no! Jericho ducks and Cena lands on his front and Jericho quickly strides over and grabs his legs....

JR: Jericho looking for the Walls Of Jericho.... oh wait Cena rolls him up....

JR: Jericho kicks out!

Cena hauls Jericho up and looks for a suplex but Jericho lands behind him, springs off the ropes and hits a running bulldog. Jericho quickly hits a Lionsault and goes for the cover, Orton slides in and breaks the cover with a boot to Jericho's head, although Cena rolled a shoulder out anyway. Orton hits Jericho with a few European Uppercuts and whips him to the corner, following it up with a running knee to the champs gut. Jericho stumbles out of the corner and Orton climbs the turnbuckle, waiting for Jericho to get back to his feet. Jericho is up and turns........

JR: Diving Crossbody by Orton... but Jericho rolls it through...1...2...Cena breaks it up!

Cena clotheslines Jericho over the top rope and turns around to get kicked in the gut by Orton, European Uppercut from The 'Legend Killer' who then whips Cena to the ropes.... flying shoulderblock, and another, Orton is up and swings, Cena ducks and hits the twisting side slam suplex, 'you can't see me' wave, five knuckle shuffle..... Orton stumbles up and Cena lifts him up for the FU... Orton struggles out and slides down Cena's back.... RKO.... no Cena pushes Orton away. Orton turns back around and Cena drops him with a drop toe hold...... STFU!! Cena has it locked in.... but Jericho is back in and breaks it up within a matter of seconds with a running bulldog to Cena. Orton looks for a clothesline on the champ, Jericho ducks and clotheslines Orton to the outside. Jericho turns and sees Cena getting up, Jericho trips him.....

JR: Walls Of Jericho!!! he's got it locked in!

King: In the middle of the ring, I don't see a way out for Cena

Michael Cole: Jericho wrenching back hard on Cena's back...

Cena screams in anguish as Jericho has the Walls locked right in, but tries desperately to start crawling towards the ropes and pulls Jericho along millimeter by millimeter. Cena gets closer to the ropes and reaches out but he's not close enough, and he makes one last effort to drag himself along the canvas..... he gets a hand on the bottom rope but Jericho won't break the hold, knowing that there are no disqualifications in Triple Threat matches. Jericho keeps the hold locked in for a few more seconds until breaking it and getting to his feet. Jericho hasn't seen Orton climb the turnbuckle from the apron and turns just in time for Orton to hit a Missile Dropkick from the top. Jericho gets up and turns as Orton goes for an RKO but Jericho pushes Orton away and quickly grabs him and throws him to the outside before going back over to Cena who is still reeling from being in the Walls Of Jericho for a lengthy time. Jericho strides towards Cena, but Cena suddenly gets to his feet and lifts Jericho onto his shoulders....

JR: FU!!!!!!

King: Wait, Jericho landed on his feet....

Cena turns.....

Michael Cole: Codebreaker!!!!!!

JR: Jericho just seconds away....

King: RKO! RKO!

JR: From out of nowhere...

Jericho rolls to the outside following a huge RKO from Orton and The 'Legend Killer' drops to the mat in a press-up type position, staring intensely at Cena as he punches his fists into the canvas, spit forming on his lips.....

King: Don't get up, Cena!...

But Cena does get up and turns straight into Orton...

JR: RK... no Cena pushes him away, Orton turns and, oh OH!! FU FU.....

Cena is slow to make the cover but crawls over and hooks the leg...

Orton kicks out of the FU. Cena gets to his feet and drags Orton up, the pair almost using eachother as objects for resting against when Orton suddenly livens up....

JR: RKO, this time Orton connects with the RKO....

Orton takes a few steps back and runs back at Cena who is somehow not completely out.....

King: Oh.... that punt from Randy Orton...

JR: Not again....

Winner And New World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton

King: Chris Jericho still down on the outside, losing his title without even getting pinned!

Michael Cole: As is always a possibility in a Triple Threat match, but the fact of the matter is, that man, Randy Orton is the new World Heavyweight Champion....

JR: The 'Legend Killer' doing what he said he would, and fulfilling his destiny to become the champion here at Wrestlemania 25.....

Randy Orton holds up the belt, weakly climbing the turnbuckle after the grueling match to make sure everybody knows he's the new champ as the screen fades out slowly....

A video plays hyping next years Wrestlemania 26 to be held on the 28th March at the University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Arizona. A tagline for the event also appears on screen, that reads 'Destruction In The Desert' as the video fades out and we head back into the arena.....

JR: Well folks, it's time, in my mind the most eagerly anticipated match in WWE history just moments away. Many have labeled it a dream match and I for one have been waiting for this since the moment it was announced. Two of the most successful and entertaining superstars ever to set foot inside the squared circle, let's take a look at how Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker find themselves set to face each other on the grandest stage of all, here at Wrestlemania 25.......

Smackdown 20/02/09: Michaels makes a surprise appearance on the first Friday Night Smackdown following No Way Out, and surprising people even further by challenging The Undertaker to a match at Wrestlemania 25...

The next edition of RAW, where we see Michaels challenged to a match by JBL, the winner of which will get to officially challenge The Undertaker to a match at Wrestlemania 25...

We see Shawn defeat JBL the following week and earn the right to challenge The Undertaker...

RAW 09/03/09: The Undertaker accepts the challenge of Shawn Michaels and says 'A couple of months ago, I recall telling Shawn Michaels a few very important words.....' as we flick to a clip from the Royal Rumble where Undertaker appears in Michaels' locker room as he prepared for a match and tells him 'sometimes it can be hell trying to get to heaven'. We flick back to that edition of RAW where Taker continues... 'It seems to me that you have just found what you were looking for when you rid yourself of the disease of the influence which JBL held over you, and yet now you seek the very antithesis..... you seek the very depths of the most putrid, decaying pits of hell by challenging me to a match at Wrestlemania. A place where not only am I unbeaten, but a burial ground for the very souls of all who have dared to step into the ring with the 'Deadman'. You call yourself Mr Wrestlamania, Shawn, but at Wrestlemania something so unearthly enters my very being to create a foe that you can and will not defeat. And so at Wrestlemania, Shawn, I accept your challenge and look forward to conspiring yet another sorry soul to a fiery hell of which even I dare not speak...'

Michaels' music hits..... 'I knew it.... I never had a doubt in my mind that you would accept my challenge, Undertaker, and you know why?... because Wrestlemania is a place where we both come alive, don't get me wrong, I'm the Showstopper every time I step into this ring, but at Wrestlemania, something just takes over my body that I can't explain and my match is always the one that everyone is talking about as they leave the arena.....'

Michaels extends a hand to Taker, who accepts before the lights go out and come back on, Taker having disappeared in eerily quick time...

We see a clip of Undertaker suffering a defeat against Vladimir Kozlov on Smackdown 13/03/09 before jumping to RAW 16/03/09 where Michaels says in an interview 'what better way to show The Undertaker I mean business than by beating the man that he could not, and ending the undefeated streak of Vladimir Kozlov much like I intend to do against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania....... after I end Kozlov's streak tonight, I'm going to do exactly the same thing, in my home town of Houston, Texas, when I face the man that nobody thinks can be beaten at Wrestlemania... The Undertaker.....'

Michaels defeats Kozlov only for the titantron to distort and start showing clips of Taker defeating his previous Wrestlemania opponents as the counter goes from 1-0 to 16-0, before showing clips of Michaels at different Wrestlemanias, then freezing on a shot of him as 17-0 appears on the screen...

A clip from the next edition of Smackdown where Taker beats JBL only for Michaels to appear on the titantron clapping his victory and telling him 'congratulations on beating JBL...... but Undertaker..... You have never beaten The 'Show Stopper', The 'Main Event'.... 'Mr Wrestlemania, and after Wrestlemania...... that will still be true....... contrary to the little message you sent me over on RAW, Undertaker, I will not be number 17...... I will not be the 17th victim to turn up at Wrestlemania and fall prey to The 'Deadman', instead I will be number 1...... the first person in Wrestlemania history to walk into the ring with the 'Phenom' and end the night with his hand raised in victory...... at Wrestlemania, The 'Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels will make history when he ends the most storied streak known to man, the streak of The Undertaker......'

We see clips from the next RAW, just two weeks before tonight, where Taker and Michaels find themselves teaming up against Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, picking up the win over the new World Tag Team Champions despite their constant attempts at one-upmanship throughout the match, most notably at the end when Michaels is tuning up the band only for Taker to tag himself in, finish off DiBiase himself, looking directly at 'HBK' as he makes the cover. Michaels rushes straight into the ring at the end of the match to square up to Taker, before backing of and leaving up the ramp whilst still making the point to Taker that he had the match won...

Smackdown later that week, Taker and Michaels versus JBL and Kozlov, which sees the pair working well together once again. Taker tags Michaels in who ducks a clothesline from JBL who stops just short of Taker who hasn't yet left the ring. JBL turns and Michaels attempts the Superkick only to nail Taker right in the face as JBL ducks. Michaels soon hits Sweet Chin Music on JBL to win the match and looks down at Taker who suddenly sits bolt upright. Michaels quickly leaps out of the ring and backs up the ramp staring back at Taker with a shrug of the shoulders...

The final episode of RAW before tonight and we see Michaels telling Todd Grisham how it was an accident that he Superkicked Taker on Smackdown, but at the end of the day they still won the match. Later that night, Michaels has a match with Knox which he wins, only for Taker to come out and Chokeslam 'HBK' forcefully into the canvas...

Finally, Smackdown 2 nights ago, Taker appears at the start of the night.....

The Undertaker: Shawn Michaels.......... This Sunday at Wrestlemania, you seek to succeed where 16 others have fallen..... Yet you make the same mistakes that those 16 men made before you........ I remember not so long ago, telling you Shawn, that sometimes it can be hell trying to get to heaven, and you know that more than most, but you exude the same arrogance of those that have previously fallen to The Undertaker, and show an unwilling desire not to reach heaven, but the very pits of your deepest hell......... You challenged me to a match at Wrestlemania, Shawn, expecting as all the others did, that 'you' will be the one who ends the streak and lays my soul to rest, but my soul will never rest, Shawn. You have always been a man of confidence, but your confidence will be your undoing at Wrestlemania. Nothing can prepare you for what lies in store this Sunday, and the Chokeslam you received on RAW was simply the tip of the iceberg. Whilst my soul will continue to walk these plains long after my body has perished, yours will be lost forever to me....... because at Wrestlemania.... Shawn...... you will rest........ in....... peeeeeeeaaacceeeeeee!

As The Undertaker rolls his eyes back into his head, the titantron suddenly bursts to life as the screen fuzzes over, flickering before slowly unfuzzing to reveal what appears to be a mound of dirt. The camera pans out and we see a graveyard. The camera pulls out more to reveal a figure dressed all in white resting on a shovel, in fact, it looks like an exact, all white version of The Undertaker's clothing. The figure lifts his head and we see that it is Shawn Michaels, who begins to talk in the slow, methodical style reminiscent of The 'Deadman' himself.........

Shawn Michaels: Hello, Undertaker....... You speak of my confidence as though it is a bad thing, when the very opposite is true. You see, the 16 men who have fallen before you at Wrestlemanias past have all had one problem....... they were scared of you, but I, Undertaker, I am not afraid. You can not get into my head as you have your previous victims, in fact, if anything, when you blindsided me with a Chokeslam on RAW, you showed that it is in fact you who is afraid of me. Both you and I know, Undertaker, that in all the years we have co existed in the WWE, you have never beaten me in a match, and the thought of 'that' streak continuing on Sunday, scares 'you'. Undertaker, I do not need to resort to mindgames in an effort to beat you at Wrestlemania, I am Mr Wrestlemania.... I am The 'ShowStopper', The 'Icon' and most importantly....... the man who will end the infamous streak of The Undertaker......... This Sunday.... I will not become the 17th victim, because you, Undertaker, will be the one.......

Michaels starts to shovel the mound of dirt back into the freshly dug grave that sits beside it......

Shawn Michaels: who rests...... in...... peeeeeeaacceeee

Michaels lowers his head as he goes back to resting on the shovel as the camera pans towards the tombstone at the head of the grave. The camera draws in close and reveals the writing on the tombstone........ 'The Undertaker' and underneath it, '16-1'. The screen fades to black, fuzzing briefly before restoring to its original state. We look back at The Undertaker stood in the ring, staring up at the titantron, looking rather annoyed at Shawn Michaels' message......

Later that night, Taker has a match with Kozlov, and finally defeats the Russian with a Chokeslam and then a Tombstone, sending a message to Michaels. But it is 'HBK' who has the last word, appearing in the ring and nailing Taker with Sweet Chin Music just seconds after winning the match

Tazz: A big win for The Undertaker, but there is no doubt in my mind who has the upper hand going in to Wrestlemania....

The video slows down on the image of Michaels standing over Taker, staring down at him unflinchingly as he heads into Wrestlemania with the momentum behind him.......

JR: And that folks brings us to this very point, this huge match, The 'Phenom', The 'Deadman' - The Undertaker versus 'The Icon', 'The Main Event', 'The ShowStopper', 'Mr Wrestlemania'.... Shawn Michaels....

DO-DO-DO-DO - 'OH OH SHAWN'

The fans almost blow the roof off of the Reliant Stadium as 'HBK's music hits and he appears from backstage wearing the same white suit we saw him in on this past Fridays Smackdown. He looks really pumped up as he does his usual entrance, kneeling and praying as fireworks erupt behind him before jumping back up to his feet and pausing, removing the white hat and pulling off his white suit in one fluid movement revealing it to be a one piece garment loosely stuck together at the back, before he walks the rest of the way to the ring with a big smile on his face. He enters the ring, running around with a skip in his step before settling and awaiting the entrance of his opponent.......

BONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The crowd have only just died down a little following the entrance of 'HBK' but they are soon lifting the roof off once more as The Undertaker appears and makes his ominous, foreboding journey towards the ring as mist swirls all the way down the ramp at the feet of The 'Deadman'. Taker climbs the steps and raises his hands as the lights come back on and he then enters the ring where he stares piercingly at Michaels. Taker removes his hat and lifts his head as he rolls his eyes back before handing it to the timekeeper along with his cloak. The referee asks both men to join him as he goes through the rules of the match, although neither man seems to be really listening as they choose instead to stare at each other. The respect is obvious, but both men want to win this match tonight. The pair back off and the crowd are absolutely electric as the bell rings at the behest of the official.......

The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels

The early going is tentative, with the pair locking up and breaking up with neither man getting anywhere. They circle around before locking up again and Taker pushes Michaels to the corner and throws a big right which Michaels ducks, hitting a big chop to the chest before backing off. The pair lock up again and once more Taker pushes 'HBK' to the corner only to miss his mark and get chopped across the chest. Michaels backs off with a small hint of a smile as Taker walks out of the corner. They lock up again and Taker whips Michaels to the ropes, he ducks a clothesline from Taker and then ducks a Big Boot on the way back, stops and looks for an early Sweet Chin Music but Taker reels back and the pair stare at each other for a few seconds as neither man is able to take any measure of an advantage. Michaels whips Taker to the ropes next and charges at Michaels who leapfrogs over him, Taker bounces back and ducks a clothesline before bouncing back and aiming one of his own at 'HBK' who also ducks and runs the ropes himself. Both men spring at each other and Taker clasps his hand around Michaels throat but he is quick to knock the arm away and jump back, the pair once again having a standoff as the crowd lap up the early exchanges.

The pair hook up again but Michaels this time lifts a knee to Taker's gut and whips him to the ropes, Taker ducks a clothesline and bounces back to take 'HBK' down with a Big Boot. Taker pushes Michaels to the corner and hits several big strikes before whipping him to the opposite corner. Taker charges and Michaels hits a falling clothesline, making a tentative cover that Taker kicks out of with the referee barely reaching a 1 count. Michaels immediately maneuvers into a front face lock on Taker, struggling to keep him down but keeping in position and locking the move right in for a good 25 seconds before Taker finds a way to his feet and breaks the hold, throwing some big right hands at Michaels before whipping him to the ropes again only to be taken down by a Flying Forearm. Michaels kips up and moves towards Taker who is getting up and nimbly takes Michaels down before applying a Fujiwara Armbar. Taker wrenches back on 'HBK's arm and Michaels eventually manages to somehow roll onto his back and push Taker away to break the hold, standing up and pawing at his arm briefly. The pair trade some blows for a short while until Michaels goes for a clothesline which Taker ducks before throwing Michaels over the top rope, but 'HBK' lands on the apron and Taker turns, reacting quickly and knocking Michaels off the apron with a Big Boot. Michaels staggers back up to his feet and turns back towards the ring just as Taker flies over the top rope, taking him down with a Suicide Dive!. Both men are down although Michaels clearly had the worst of it as the official begins his count. Taker hauls Michaels back into the ring and pushes him to the corner where he delivers several vicious strikes before whipping Michaels to the opposite corner with huge force, Michaels theatrically rolling back-first over the turnbuckle and to the outside. Taker follows him out and hits some more rights before whipping him into the steps as he starts to take control. Taker is in his element now and breaks Michaels down on the outside, occasionally rolling in to break the officials count, between driving Michaels kidney first to the barricades and to the ring apron and taking him down with a big clothesline that sends Michaels crashing to the thin mats. Taker pushes Michaels against the ringpost and looks to hit a splash/clothesline but Michaels moves at the last second and Taker eats steel. Michaels senses his chance to turn thins around and clobbers Taker across the back before pushing him head first back into the ringpost. He rolls in and out of the ring but the few seconds are enough for Taker to recover as he takes Michaels down with a huge right hand. Taker pushes Michaels back into the ring and climbs onto the apron but Michaels hits a rope assisted double footed kick to the chest of Taker to knock him to the floor. Michaels waits as Taker gets up and turns, pulling back on the top rope and taking The Deadman down with a Slingshot Crossbody.

Michaels leads Taker around the ring, slamming his head against the apron and barricades before Taker rallies with a knee to the gut and a few strikes of his own. Both men trade blows for the next couple of minutes on the outside whilst both rolling in and out to break the referees count. Taker takes the upper hand and rams michaels' head into the ring apron half a dozen times before hauling him onto the ring apron and placing him with his neck hanging over the apron. Taker climbs up and backs towards the ringpost before striding a dropping his leg across 'HBK's throat, The Heartbreak Kid falling back down to the floor. Taker takes a few seconds to regroup before going back to the outside and walking towards Michaels who suddenly stoops and lifts Taker up with a Back BodyDrop that sends Taker on to the announce desk!....

JR: Oh my, I think we had best move guys....

King: I'm way ahead of you, JR!...

JR: Michaels Back BodyDropping The Under..... ooooh wait a second....SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT.... Michaels, he's just hit a Springboard Moonsault from the middle rope straight onto The Undertaker and driven both The Undertaker and himself through the announce table....

Michael Cole: We moved just in time!...

Both Michaels and The Undertaker lie amongst the debris of the broken announce desk following HBK's high risk maneuver and the referee checks on both men amongst the carnage before going back to the ring to start a count. He gets to 4 before either man starts to move as Michaels picks himself up and heads back to the ring just as Taker starts to rouse, and Michaels opts to haul Taker up himself and push him into the ring as JR comments that Taker may not have answered the ten count. Michaels is in control now and pushes Taker to the corner where he hits a dozen stiff chops to the chest before backing off and allowing Taker to stumble out, but he doesn't wait long before hitting a Belly to Back Suplex and making the cover for a 2 count. Michaels whips Taker to the ropes and hits a Dropkick before whipping him to the ropes again and stooping for a Back BodyDrop that Taker counters with a running DDT. Taker needed that to get things back on an even keel and as the pair get up, Taker hits a few blows before whipping HBK to the ropes but is taken by surprise as Michaels springs off with a Flying Forearm that knocks Taker down. Michaels quickly kips up and hits an Inverted Atomic Drop, then a punch then Scoop Slams Taker before heading quickly to the turnbuckle. Michaels climbs and wastes no time in soaring through the air looking to drive the elbow into Taker's sternum, but The Deadman lifts his knees up right into the arm and ribs of The Heartbreak Kid, who rolls around the ring clutching at his arm and midriff. Taker takes the initiative, throwing some solid rights and lefts into Michaels' rib cage and grabbing HBK in a wristlock and delivering some hefty shoulder blocks as he goes to work on Michaels' upper body. Taker hits a Sidewalk Slam and makes a cover which Michaels kicks out of at 2, but Taker is really in control now he has a target to work on. Taker pushes Michaels to the corner and delivers some more precise shots to the ribs of Michaels before whipping him to the ropes and taking him down with a high leaping clothesline. Taker hauls Michaels back up and grabs his arm, twisting it around as he heads towards the corner and climbs the turnbuckle......

King: Uh oh Shawn.... I think Taker's looking to end this soon...

JR: The Undertaker walking across the middle rope, spelling danger for Michaels, Taker about to go Old School.... OH! SWEETCHIN MUSIC! what a counter, is this the moment...

Michael Cole: Michaels with the cover!

JR: No! Taker kicks out

King: What an amazing counter that was by Michaels, the Superkick from nowhere just as Taker was ready to go Old School..... How did The Undertaker kick out?

Michaels gets right down to business and doesn't dwell on Taker kicking out of the Superkick, almost as if he expected it. He whips Taker to the ropes and The Deadman stoops only for Michaels to scout the Back BodyDrop and hit a swinging neckbreaker, making the cover for 2. He pushes Taker to the corner, hitting several chops before whipping him to the opposite corner. Michaels steams in and Taker lifts a boot, but HBK catches it, throws it down and hits another series of chops before looking to whip Taker across the ring again. Taker counters and Michaels slams into the turnbuckle as Taker charges at him, but HBK lifts a boot to his face and takes him down with a clothesline, again going for a cover for 2. Michaels is in control here and drops a leg across Taker's throat once, twice, three times before making another cover as he looks to pick up the win. Michaels picks Taker up and grabs his wrist, twisting it around as he looks around at the crowd with a rye smile. He walks towards the turnbuckle and climbs up.....

King: Is Michaels doing what I think he is?

JR: I believe so, Michaels looking to go Old School...

Michaels walks across the top rope and pushes off...

Michael Cole: Michaels from the top rope...

King: Taker's caught him, he's got him!...

Taker has caught Michaels around the throat, preventing HBK from hitting Old School but getting right into position for a Chokeslam...

JR: Undertaker going for the Chokeslam...

Michael Cole: Michaels counters, landing behind The Undertaker and.. oh wait a minute, backslide by Michaels...

JR: Ohhh, Undertaker kicks out again

King: Great counter again by Michaels, I thought he had him...

Michaels pushes Taker to the corner and hits several punches to the face of The Deadman before climbing the turnbuckle and standing over him as he drives his fist into the forehead of Taker, the crowd counting along with every one..... 4... 5... but Taker suddenly grabs Michaels by the waist of his trunks in a Last Ride position but looks to drop Michaels into the turnbuckle with a sort of modified Snake Eyes... Michaels blocks it and lands with his feet on the bottom rope and his hands on the top, quickly climbing up as Taker stumbles out thinking he's bought himself some time. Taker turns around.....

JR: Moonsault!!!! OHHH, Taker's caught him, he's got hi... oooh.. TOMBSTONE!!!! IT'S OVER!!!!!

Taker folds Michaels' arms across his chest and makes the pin...

JR: 1......

King: Taker's got him...

JR: 2......

King: What a match...

JR: 3......

Michael Cole: NO!!! Michaels kicks out...

JR: MY GOD! I thought he had him...

King: I can't believe it.... no-one kicks out of the Tombstone!

Taker shares this view, his eyes widening the moment Michaels instinctively rolls a shoulder, staring down at The Showstopper in disbelief before pushing his hair back out of his eyes. Michaels has barely moved apart from kicking out, and Taker lifts him up, only for him to fall back down. Taker helps him up again and pushes him to the corner and hits some more shots to the ribs and face of Michaels before whipping him to the corner and following in successfully with a clothesline that sees Michaels stumble out and fall to the mat face-first. Taker pushes Michaels back to the corner after hauling him up and drives several back elbows into Michaels cheek as he looks to finish The Heartbreak Kid off. Taker grabs the wrist of Michaels and twists his arm around before climbing the turnbuckle and walking across the ropes before finally hitting Old School right across the back of Michaels' neck. Taker forces Michaels' head between his legs and raises his closed fist in the air...

King: Michaels in desperate trouble here...

JR: Undertaker signaling the Last Ride.....

Taker lifts Michaels up and suspends him by the waist of his trunks...

King: Here it comes...

JR: Wait, Michaels sliding down behind The Undertaker... Michaels with the roll up... no wait...

Michaels grabs both of Taker's legs....

King: Michaels looking for the Sharpshooter!!!!

JR: He's... can he turn The Undertaker ove.... he can.... Michaels has the Sharpshooter locked in.....

Michael Cole: Another amazing counter by Michaels, can he make The Undertaker tap...

Michaels pulls back as hard as he can, his face screwed up as he tries desperately to force Taker to submit. Taker is in some pain and tries to crawl to the ropes with all of Michaels' wait on his lower back. Taker pulls and scratches at the canvas, edging towards the ropes as Michaels tries to stop him but Taker reaches out a hand and grasps the bottom rope and the referee orders Michaels to break the hold, HBK using up every second of the five count before releasing Taker. Michaels walks around briefly, pawing at his own ribs and back having put everything into that submission hold. He walks towards Taker who grabs his trunks and pulls him so he lands throat first across the middle rope, a veteran move by The Undertaker. Michaels stumbles to his feet and towards Taker who scoops him up and puts him across his shoulder.......

JR: Undertaker back in control..... Snake eyes!!!!........ looks to take Michaels down with that Big Boot.....

King: WOAHHHH!

JR: MY GAWD! Sweet Chin Music!......

Michael Cole: Again the counter by Michaels and a second Sweet Chin Music..... but can he capitalise....

Michaels slumps to the floor after hitting the Superkick having seemingly used up what energy he could muster to hit his trademark move....

JR: Michaels, slowly crawling towards The Undertaker..... this is his chance... he gets the arm across the chest....

JR: Ooooh, I'm not sure how much more I can take..... Taker kicking out from a second Superkick, this is ridiculous...

Michaels barely reacts to Taker kicking out, it seemingly being all he could do to make the cover with just his out-stretched arm as he stays slumped face down for a few moments. He starts to move and you can sense a little bit of disbelief on his face now, wondering what it will take if two Superkicks aren't enough. Michaels slowly gets to his feet and hauls Taker up, wrapping his arm around his head before planting him with a DDT and making another cover which Taker kicks out of. Michaels gets up again and moves towards Taker......

JR: Michaels looking to drag The Undertaker back to his fee... OH, Undertaker grabbing at Michaels and going fo.... he's... he's got that devilsome submission hold locked in....

Michael Cole: Undertaker with the Hells Gate submission... it's locked in, Michaels in trouble... struggling to get out as the leg of The Undertaker crushes against his throat... Michaels trying desperately to reach for the ropes.... he's there, somehow, he's got a hand on the ropes...

King: Undertaker only had that hold locked in properly for a few seconds, but the damage could be done to HBK...

Taker breaks the hold and waits as Michaels gets up clutching his throat. Michaels stumbles doubled over towards Taker who grabs Michaels and drives him between his legs.....

JR: Now what!!!

Michael Cole: LAST RIDE!!!

King: Michaels head bounced off the canvas, he's out...

JR: Undertaker with the cover...

Michael Cole: I don't believe this!!!

King: Michaels kicked out?!?

JR: How on earth is Michaels still moving let alone kicking out of a thunderous Last Ride...

King: That had to be pure instinct, no two ways about it...

The Undertaker is almost too weary to let it show, but the frustration is there to see as Michaels kicks out of one of his finishing moves yet again. Both men unsteadily get to their feet before trading blows. A punch from Taker, a chop from Michaels, punch, chop, punch, chop then Taker unleashes a volley of hard rights that have Michaels reeling. Taker whips Michaels to the ropes and they both have the same thought, taking each other down with a clothesline. Both are slow to get up and as they walk towards each other, Taker scoops Michaels up and looks to get him into a Tombstone position, but Michaels wriggles out and turns across Taker's shoulder to plant him with a vicious DDT...

JR: How many times have we said it, another textbook counter by Michaels an... what's he doing now.... CROSSFACE, he's got Taker locked in the Crossface....

King: Michaels literally trying everything in this match, will this be enough...

Michaels has the move fully locked in with Taker's arm trapped and Michaels' hands wrenching Taker's head back. Taker grimaces in pain as does Michaels who again puts everything he's got into the hold. Taker is struggling to crawl with the bodyweight of HBK on top of him and looks in trouble until he somehow manages to roll over 360 degrees. Michaels keeps the move locked in but Taker is much closer to the ropes now and reaches out a finger that just brushes the rope. Taker drags Michaels an extra few millimeters and wraps his fingers around the bottom rope, Michaels again using the full 5 count before breaking the hold as a look of frustration washes over him, although it is somewhat masked by the pain. Both men are to their feet and Michaels reacts quickest, hitting Taker with an Inverted Atomic Drop, then a punch before scoop slamming Taker onto his back. Michaels walks towards the corner with a determined look on his face before climbing the turnbuckle a little unsteadily. He reaches the top...

JR: Flying Elbow Drop by Michaels... he's up... and he's tuning up the band......

Michael Cole: Is this the moment Michaels has been searching for, looking for a third dose of Sweet Chin Music...

Michaels looks real determined as he stomps his foot into the canvas, waiting impatiently for Taker to turn around having helped himself up in the opposite corner. Taker stumbles back a few steps and turns as Michaels moves forward...

King: Here it comes!.....

Michael Cole: Wait... Taker's blocked it, and..... CHOKESLAM! This has got to be it now...

Taker falls away from Michaels and takes a few seconds to make the cover, hooking both legs...

JR: Michaels kicks out.... yet again!

King: I give up trying to call this one...

Michael Cole: Shawn Michaels, somehow has kicked out of a Tombstone, a Last Ride, and now a Chokeslam.... normally just one of those would be enough...

Taker hauls Michaels up, a hard job by the looks of it as Michaels can barely move, but eventually Taker gets him to his feet. Taker clasps his hand around Michaels' throat again and lifts him up. Michaels jumps out and lands behind Taker, his knees buckling for a second before he runs to the ropes and springs back at Taker. Taker sidesteps, grabs Michaels and throws him over the top rope.... but Michaels skins the cat and somehow just about finds the energy to lift himself back over the top rope, but Taker has turned and catches Michaels on his shoulder.....

JR: Michaels skinning the cat.. but Undertaker grabs him...

King: He's going for another Tombstone...

Taker gets Michaels upside down, right in position...

Michael Cole: This is it... wait a minute... Michaels breaks free and, oh... he... Michaels grabbing at Undertaker's legs, Taker on his back and Michaels is somehow up to his feet...

King: Is he doing what I think he is...

Michael Cole: Michaels looking for the Figure Four Leglock....

Michaels turns to lock the move in...

JR: But The Undertaker, pushing Michaels away with his boots...

Michaels is pushed forward forcefully and slams chest first into the turnbuckle before stumbling back out and around....

JR: The Undertaker lifting Michaels up again...

King: But Michaels slides down Undertaker's back...

Michael Cole: Undertaker turning around and..

JR: SWEET CHI.....

King: NO! Undertaker ducks... Michaels turns.... Undertaker...

Michael Cole: Lifting Michaels up again.....

JR: TOMBSTONE!!!!!!!!!

King: Surely it's over...

Taker makes the cover, again folding Michaels' arms across his chest but doesn't stick his tongue out like usual...

JR: IT IS!!!! Ladies and gentlemen what a match......

Winner: The Undertaker

BONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

King: I'm almost lost for words...

The arena darkens to a dark blueish glow as The Undertaker collapses over on to his side, looking more worn out than he ever has before, staring over at the motionless Michaels with a bemused look on his face......

JR: The look on the face of The Undertaker says it all, he can not believe just how much it has taken to defeat Shawn Michaels here tonight, The Undertaker has never been tested like this throughout his entire WWE career...

Michael Cole: Everyone was saying how this was a dream match, but it really was like being in a dream.... to see Michaels keep kicking out after The Undertaker hit him with everything in his locker.... a Tombstone, a Last Ride and a Chokeslam not enough to defeat Michaels here tonight, only a second Tombstone Piledriver able to put Michaels down for the 3 count...

King: And just look... the entire crowd, every single fan in attendance is up on their feet applauding both of these superstars... this has to go down as the greatest match in the WWE let alone at Wrestlemania...

The Undertaker is still only in an upright sitting position at best, wavering between that and lolling back on to his side.....

JR: The Undertaker knows he has been in a match here ladies nad gentlemen, Shawn Michaels, it has to be said hasn't moved to my knowledge since that second Tombstone Piledriver, an... well he is just very slowly moving his one arm but he still looks out to me...and I have to say it, what an absolute slobberknocker of a match that was...

Fireworks start erupting all around the Reliant Stadium, lighting up the arena as Undertaker manages to just get up onto his knees with the assistance of the ropes.

JR: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all so much for joining us here for what has been a spectacular and unpredictable 25th anniversary of Wrestlemania, goodnight from myself, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler, as we leave you to look back at the biggest moments from Wrestlemania 25.....

Cheers man, really glad you enjoyed it so much.

I would love to hear what all you regular readers thought of the show, how it went down etc. Especially on certain aspects that I will mention when you've all had a proper chance to read as I don't want to spoil any of the big moments for anyone. I can mention having Taker vs HBK as last match on as that doesn't spoil anything, wondered your thoughts, but in my opinion, that should always have been the last match at real life Wrestlemania 25.

Also, I hope it's a while until I write a show that long again :D

The MITB: It was nice that you opened the show with the MITB, because it is what the WWE usually do... The match itself, Absolutely awesome... Crazy spots that I would love to see, Kane spearing Show trough a Ladder, Kenton trough the ladder on Kane. INCREDIBLE!!! And would have loved to see KAne win, But kennedy is a good choice. 10/10

Triple Threat for the US. Championship: Nice little match, glad that it wasn't as long as the MITB match but it was really a nice read, a shame that MVP didn't win, but who cares :D 8/10

Diva Battle Royal: TORRIE!!! :o Damn she should have won... It was a nice match, it was funnier reading this than watching it at WM 25! :D Trish winning was cool. enjoyable 7/10

Hardy vs Hardy: Brutal match, spot after spot after spot. 20 foot Legdrop (that missed) Swanton trough a table that also misses... Jeff doesn't hit anything :p The finish wasn't as brutal as in the real WM but it was nice... 9½/10

ECW Title match: I think this match was really well written, would have loved to see this... It was an old school brawl mixed with some technical wrestling. That is what I like in wrestling.. The end of the match had me on the edge of my seat :D Finlay fianlly got what he deserved ;) 9/10

JBL vs Stone Cold: I'm a huge JBL fan so... I don't know what to say... It's realistic though... Stone Cold could probably not have a long match because of his back and neck.... realistic, Yes. Did I like it? no.

DUD

Legacy vs Cryme Tyme: AAH, here comes the Filler match. didn't really care for this, but it was a nice quick read, a little pause to the LOONG write-ups ;) nice match, but the WRONG winners... Well knowing you it had to be done right? I know you have something big planned to Legacy, Can't wait. ;) The match itself 6/10

HHH vs Edge: Very good match, Near fall after near fall... It felt really realistic, it was like when these two have a match in real life... Good match, but I knew that if Edge would win, there would happen one major thing.

8/10

Spoiler warning: Highlight to read.

Kennedy cashes in the MITB: I KNEEEW IIT!!! :D DUD Awesome moment though ;)

Nice little confrontation between Vickie and Hunter backstage... HUNTER IS COMING FOR YOU ORTON!!!!

WHC Triple threat: I love how your writing style is so realistic, It's really like watching a WWE match. I have to admit I skipped a little bit of the match, You keep it so realistic, and I always skip a little bit of Cena matches, so I had to do it again :D Will probably read the match soo, but not now, But what I read was awesome as usual... ver good match... So now Orton vs HHH title feud  Well I'm sure if anyone can make that interesting it's you ;)

MATCH OF THE FREAKING YEAR IN THIS FORUM!!!:

I have never eeeeveeer read a match this good on any forum, absolutely incredible.. is it even possible that I liked this more than the one at WM??!!

I do not want to spoil what happens in this match to anyone... YOU HAVE TO READ IT!!!!!! 10000/10 INCREDIBLE!!! :D:D

End thoughts: Really kudos to you for writing a MONSTER length show..

It took me an freaking hour to read the whole thing, DAAAMN YOU!!! :p

The show was spot on perfect... and I will probably read it again someday :)

And I hope you don't get offended by the ratings that I put up... I just did it for fun, and you know I love your diaries so...

Thank you so much, I actually had a tingle go down my spine on a couple of occasions writing this match as I imagined it happening for real. But your words above have put me on top of the world!

Hi Lexa90. First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to make such a lengthy reply, and I absolutely loved the fact you rated each match :D

Obviously delighted that you loved the MITB match so much and I was hoping people would like what I did with Taker vs HBK. Glad you enjoyed the Hardy's match and the ECW Title match so much too.

In reply to your spoiler tagged comment...

Glad you liked this moment. I wasn't sure what peoples reactions would be and if people might think I've just done it for the sake of having such a major moment take place, but I can assure everyone that ithere are very good reasons Kennedy did what he did and the coming weeks will show that.

In regards to the JBL - Austin match, I like to keep a semblance of realism and like you say, Austin could never really have a proper match again due to his neck, and this was the big 'pop' moment of this years Mania, and a happy final Mania appearance for the Rattlesnake.

Thank you again, really over the moon you enjoyed it so much and hopefully I can continue to delight :D

YAY! I got the most PPV predictions, right! What do I win? lol.

But seriously, an excellently written card, sebsy. It was a pleasure to read from start to finish. and all I've got to say is....KKKKEEEENNNNEEEEDDDDYYYY!.......................................................................................................KENNEDY!

Wow, that was... long. Good show, with a few good moments like having Kennedy cash in the briefcase, and Austin beating JBL in seconds. Liked Finlay winning the belt because it's good for him to get a bit of a nod as his career comes to and end, thought it was a nice touch.

I'm personally not sure about it being this length because I found I ended up skipping over a lot of the matches (I skipped a lot of the start to the main event, MitB and US Title matches) but it did make it seem epic and really liked the writing style and length for the special matches, like the Wold Title matches. And I can't say too much as I tend to get carried away with length, and I'm sure I will for my 'Mania, so it's fair.

So overall, a really good show. A lot of title changes and stuff in there but it is modern day WWE so you had to go that route really, so all in all I'm very impressed and looking forward to seeing what you do next.

Thankyou so much, angel, glad you enjoyed it so much. I've always loved Kennedy :D

Very good stuff Sebsy. I think you captured the feel of Wrestlemania. Kudos sir.

Thankyou cmd, it's nice that you and a few others have said that about capturing the feel as that is something I really wanted to achieve.

Great show, knew I shouldn't have picked Cena, but oh, well. Again great show can't wait for the next set of shows.

Cheers, Tripps! Hopefully the next set of shows can keep the momentum built up from Mania, but more on the next set of shows in a minute....

Hi keefy. WM 25 was long? you're telling me :D That was a right killer to write but I've never had so much fun writing anything in my life. Glad you liked the Finlay title win, I think he deserves a run with the ECW Title at this stage of his career.

As for the next set of shows, I'm not going to say a definite time frame on those for now. Things are very crazy my end at the moment, but rest assured I'm working feverishly to get stuff ready. I'm hoping for a week Monday to get things resumed, but as I say I won't make the mistake of setting that in stone. Everything is planned all the way up to Backlash for all 3 brands aswell as Backlash itself, it is just a matter of getting it written, but I want to lay some firmer plans up to and including Judgment Day aswell as beyond before I set the ball rolling again, so that I can have another long stretch of uninterrupted shows.

  • 3 weeks later...

<p>Hi folks. As it has been 3 weeks since the last show I thought I'd give you all an update.</p><p> </p><p>

It's taking a little longer than I would like/anticipated to get the amount of shows written in advance that I would like to before getting back to posting shows.</p><p> </p><p>

I am contemplating not posting any shows until after Christmas and getting a good 3/4 months written so I'm back in a position of being way ahead of myself.</p><p> </p><p>

I might post before then but that is the option I might go for as it gives me time, like I say, to get way ahead of myself.</p><p> </p><p>

Hopefully you won't have all forgotten about me (or indeed haven't already) and will tune back in once the shows start rolling once more.</p><p> </p><p>

See you soon!</p>

Hi folks. Just an update.

It's going to be a good bit longer until this gets going again, as I really want to get loads done before starting to post again. This is certainly not dead but I want to have months in advance written and planned as I can't keep up if I start posting with just a few weeks in advance written. Got everything planned for the first 10 weeks after Mania, and many plans for in the futre which I'm working everything in between.

Hopefully you won't all forget this diary and I look forward to entertaining you all again soon enough.

Also thankyou to whoever voted HBK vs Taker for match of the year, and hopefully someone might give a nod to WM 25 for show of the year ;)

Anyway, cheap plugs aside, I will be back, I just don't know when.

Take care all and see you soon!

Hey folks, a bit of mixed news.

I've reformatted so am ready to really kick on with this diary again now that I'm with my new Broadband provider and have a fresh pc. I've been meaning to reformat since before xmas now so all is good.

Well, all except the fact that despite remembering to unlicense the game and reinstall it properly, I managed to forget to make a copy of my save games on my usb stick.

So the situation is this. I want to continue this diary, but it will no longer come with match and show ratings. I know some people like to see the ratings for matches but hopefully that won't put any of my regular readers off.

Also I have really been putting a lot of time over the last month or two into coming up with storylines, angles etc and where I can realistically but excitingly take the wwe in the future for both myself and my readers, and I just wanted to know that people are definitely still interested in this. I know it's been a while since Mania but I am making sure I get a load of shows written up and planned before I start posting again so that I can get really far into the diary before I get to the stage again of having nothing written in advance.

So, to summarise. It shouldn't be too long until the shows get going again, as long as people are interested, and don't mind the fact that there will no longer be match ratings because I lost my save games. :D

I wouldn't be too bothered at all, mate. As you know FMTA is without TEW these days and it's quite liberating at times. It is probably a bit less fun as you can't see what is happening in front of your eyes, like overness and that, but you aren't constrained by chemistry and booking penalties and stuff, and hence can be open to more opportunities. I say go for it, I'll be reading.

Yes, I guess it will be better in some respects, ie I can book 3-1 handicap matches etc, but I know some people like the whole match rating thing. I also just wanted tobe sure that people were going to be interested in this when it returns, simply because I only got 10 weeks in before I ran out of stuff to post.

But that's why this time I'm making sure I've got a hell of a lot written.

Annoying thing is, I didn't start the diary until I had everything up to and including WM25 written so that I could then get more written during the ten weeks of shows I had to post, and for various reasons that never happened :(

This time it will, or else I will retire from diary writing!

Hi folks, just thought I'd update on the situation with this diary as it's been a while.

As I said previously, I am still doing this diary, and will be getting alot written before commencing. Unfortunately that will be later than I was hoping as I have been unable to do anything for the diary for the past 3 weeks following an operation. Tonight I have returned to action and have started writing the WWE Draft episode of RAW, which will hopefully be a great show. I'm going to really be making a concerted effort now to get back into the swing, following some doubts I had about whether or not to keep it going, and will be getting the next four PPV's written with all the regular shows between them before I start posting again, but while that will take a little while, hopefully it won't be an age.

I won't update again, unless anything else untoward happens, so hopefully you won't hear from me again until the shows come back up!

Anyway, take care all, and don't forget about me ;)

Somewhat regrettably, I'm calling an end to this diary.

It has been far too long since the last show and with only two weeks of shows written up now, it is just going to be pointless.

I am looking at this diary as the last learning curve as I am now looking ahead to a new diary, that will be my final attempt. I've learned alot from my previous diary and this one, that will hopefully ensure I am able to keep the diary going regularly, and also be my best and most enjoyable diary to date.

I'm not sure when my new diary will pick up from, maybe the night after Wrestlemania 26 so that I can do my own draft or maybe after Backlash, when things might be more settled down following the draft and current feuds brough to a more final conclusion. Either way, it will be a while before the diary starts getting posted, as I will get alot written first.

Also with ECW now defunct, I won't have as much to do anyway, so it couldn't be a better time.

I have the next 2 weeks of shows written, and I may post them anyway, just for the sake of the time I put into them not going to waste. We'll see.

Anyway, I hope all my regular readers will appreciate that it is for the best to bring this diary to an end, and look forward to my final attempt.

It's always a shame to see a Diary end :( But it was good as long it lasted... The Wrestlemania you wrote was probably the best show I have ever seen written on these boards :D Thank you for this diary, and I will of course read your next one :)
