<p>It seems pretty clear that Cena will win this rematch. Or will they drag it out to Survivor Series? But that presupposes a dirty finish / interference.</p><p> </p><p>

And yes: I would like a Usos vs Ascention matchup. But first, the Ascention needs to feud with KENTA damnit <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />.</p><p> </p><p>

It would be interesting to see Nikki Bella take the championship as the segment on SD! hinted at some sort of rollup or other steal finish. If that happens Paige and AJ can continue this mediocre rivalry on the midcard without the title involved. After all: it's the divas title. It never had any prestige to begin with.</p>

<p>Roman Reigns is out for "several months". So... if you're booking WWE right now what do you do? Do you count on him coming back in time for his expected push to the title at Wrestlemania in April? Do you give someone else the opportunity to get more screen time and better opponents? Who would it be? If you ask me it <em>must</em> be this man. This is his time. Your future champion. Dean Ambrose.</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Reigns is only expected to be out about a month (maybe 6 weeks), the "couple of months" was reported to be an exaggeration on their part to play up his return "sooner than expected" when it does happen.</p><p> </p><p>

So are we expecting Cena/Rollins or Ambrose/Rollins at Hell In A Cell?</p>

<p>Spoiler free thoughts:</p><p> </p><p>

All the matches were great last nite, except the main event.</p><p> </p><p>

Goldust indeed had awesome facepaint. And I was glad with the outcome of the Dust Bros. match.</p><p> </p><p>

The Divas was better than anyone could have expected.</p><p> </p><p>

The end of the main event ruined it. But after the brutal beatdown Brock gave Cena last month, it would have been harder to match it, let alone surpass it. Was really hopeing for 'evil' Cena to come out.</p><p> </p><p>

btw, they didn't say a couple of months for Reigns. They were saying 'six months' and 'several months' for his recovery during the PPV.</p>

<p>Overall it was a decent show, but some segments were laughable, like Henry powering out of the Accolade and Nikki Brie's offense in general. The lack of psychology... I'd recommend a therapist, but let's not go there (though the Springer segment was decent in my book).</p><p> </p><p>

Main event was a bit lackluster indeed. The endings of the matches were also unexpected in my perspective. God they really book slow storylines lately. It's coming over as an actual soap opera. Oh and when I'm finally going for a long-term TEW13 game, remind me to actually uncheck the repetitive booking penalty for a realistic experience. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">NoC Review:</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Usos vs Dust Bros (Tag Titles)</strong> - Good match. I like the Usos but it was time for new champs.</p><p>

<strong>Cesaro vs Sheamus (US Championship)</strong> - Great match. Sheamus is the best brawler in the WWE and Cesaro was pulling moves like the Alpamere Waterslide and Helluva Kick out of his deep moveset. Both guys should be main eventing and would make good opponents for Lesnar later in the year.</p><p>

<strong>Miz vs Ziggler (Intercontinental Championship)</strong> - Solid match. I don't mind Miz winning because the feud is still interesting.</p><p>

<strong>Rollins vs ?</strong> - Promo, forfeit and a brawl with Ambrose was the best way to handle Roman's absence.</p><p>

<strong>Henry vs Rusev</strong> - OK match but it was too one-sided. Rusev should challenge Sheamus for the US Title next. They've built him up enough for a big feud.</p><p>

<strong>Jericho vs Orton</strong> - Good match with minimal build-up.</p><p>

AJ vs Nikki vs Paige - (Divas Championship) - Nice Paige promo. Good match and a suprising victory for AJ.</p><p>

<strong>Cena vs Lesnar (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)</strong> - Great match and I didn't mind the DQ ending. I assume the Authority sent Rollins out there to make sure Cena didn't win and he decided to go into business for himself.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Verdict:</span></strong> After the recent run of average Raws and Smackdowns I'm glad WWE still know how to put on good PPVs.</p><p> </p><p>

Why do the WWE feel the need to involve John Cena with every hot feud or upcoming star? He has killed the momentum of every push and story in the last year! Bray Wyatt, CM Punk,The Shield, Ryback (when he had momentum) and now the excellent Ambrose/Rollins feud. I guess WWE are just going to rely on Cena for the next 10 years because they are killing any chance of others getting over constantly throwing him into feuds he doesn't need to be in.

I'd agree somewhat there but to say he killed the momentum of The Shield who were the hottest stable of talent for 18 months to 2 years and are now hands down the future stars of the business and the next generation is absurd.

Also the same applys to Punk, one of the hottest talents of the past few years and someone who fought from almost the lower midcards right up to main event and one of the longest title runs in recent history.

I'd say he did more to kill the momentum of the Nexus and Wade Barrett, but Punk and The Shield I have to respectfully disagree sir.

Cena also put over Bryan last year and at WrestleMania. And he's put over Lesnar twice. They've definitely used Cena better on PPVs since the Nexus days (except for Bray who was the fall guy to build up Cena so they could feed him to Lesnar). The problem is they still protect him more than anyone on Raw.

Agreed, Who knows if Wyatt will recover from that.

I don't blame Cena completely. Cena is just a guy going out there doing the job he's told to.

Is he over protected? Absolutly.

Is he forced down our throats? Most certainly.

Cena could stand up to Vince and Trips for the "smaller guy" he's about to steam roll through the momentum of but at the same time, whether we like it or not Cena has been and is the guy currently.

WWE has blown some golden chances over that time but at the same time it could be argued as much that very few have stepped up like Cena did during Vince's ruthless agression speel, a number have tried Bryan has come close but got injured, Punk did come close, he was the number 2 face in terms of Merch and at one point even beat Cena in sale.

I would say however now WWE find themselves in a great position, they have at least 3 super marketable guys in Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns that if built correctly can take the torch from Cena should he wish to give it;

Not to mention alot of guys in NXT who could go far, and the midcard Ziggler can finally step up, Sheamus, The Miz (again), Cesaro could also.

Cena will be needed for the forseeable future but it makes sense havining him work with these guys as long as he just doesn't steam roll them and kill the momentum, He hasn't got the ego of Hogan, Cena will job when he has to.

Sorry for the wall of text there lol

I thought Henry Vs Rusev was really dull. How come Swagger didnt get the same treatment Henry got? I thought Swaggers gimmick is that his a Patriot. why didnt Lilian Garcia sing for him?

I also found Jericho/Orton to be boring, Jericho is half the wrestler he use to be I guess age has caught up to him.

I also over AJ. she was so refreshing when she came onto the scene but now she just annoys me. I dunno if it was her character or not but she really didnt seem that interested being out there for NOC and just seemed to be going though the motions.

I like Fleisch and all but I'm going to need an elaboration on some of these points. You can't just say Cena killed CM Punk and The Shield and roll out lol. Explain that.

And I don't know if I'm remembering Ryback's rise and fall improperly but Cena came out and supported Ryback. It was CM Punk who broke Ryback's streak... And then the Shield started beating him down and he was basically never taken seriously again. Cena almost couldn't have been further away from the burial of Ryback. Or the Shield for that matter. He was nowhere near the Shield busting up. If anything they are far more of a threat to him apart than they ever were together.

I must have missed Cena putting Bryan over at WM. Was that before or after he beat Wyatt?

Cena verbally put over Daniel Bryan every week in the buildup to wrestlemania several times over. And on the show itself. I don't know what to tell you if you missed 8 weeks of buildup to Wrestlemania but it did happen...

Swagger had the gimmick, now they wanted to recreate the Olympic experience for Henry. Repetition is gold in WWE, but you can't just keep doing the exact same thing.

And is Cena really 'together' with Bella? I thought all those marriages were keyfabed for that reality show... Seems like an awful coincidence that many people are finding each other while working for the same company. :p

And did they seriously announce CM Punk for the video game? And no one was cheering for it, yet they cheered for about everyone else. They probably thought: "are we allowed to cheer now? Will we be evicted for that?" :p
