The last PPV I bought was actually Extreme Rules of this year. It just ticks me off when people steal things. Whether or not you think WWE is declining in quality, the wrestlers themselves still put themselves in harms way for our entertainment, and we as the fans are the ones keeping the entire industry afloat. When more and more people pirate PPVs online, the wrestling industry declines more and more because there is less money being put into it. I'm probably sounding like a total jerk right now, but people pirating things is one of my biggest pet peeves.

I just had to response to this. I had to. I got so incredibly stuck on how selfish you appeared.

First of all, you are living in a society. You hold your opinion, one holds his/her own as well. You cannot change the society. It's the babylon system. It's how it works.

Second of all, you should never judge one if you do not know their story. Just because your an American, you have a lot of material wealth to throw around doesn't mean that one fills those same criterions. Your basically accusing the society you live in for doing something against the law (thus, against the norm) and stealing, when you are in fact stomping on so many lives across the world just to make you yourself happy. Its ridiculous to see that you do not understand that everyone doesn't share the same material wealth that you do. You come off so selfish, it looks like you don't actually give a **** about other people. It looks like all you care is yourself, and the things you love. Do not judge when you do not know the story.

Also, it is hardly a great point to fight off piracy against the wrestling community by saying that it needs a one-mans support. When all the workers are pulling incredible pay-checks inside the WWE, streaming the PPV is hardly a big concern. When the system develops, the industry has to develop alongside it, not fight against it.

Surprisingly, I'm all for piracy. I'm openly for it. If everyone would share, the world would be a better place. But you just cannot change the system. The World needs to be equal. People from all around the World should be equal. But that will never happen, because the human is so selfish, that it cannot give back or be equal with everyone. You just got to be better than the other. You got to have more wealth than the other. You have to cross out every box its ridiculous. If everyone would help eachother, if everyone would share things with eachother, everyone would feel better. But no. Not now. Not in the future.

And even though you say you are not attacking against anyone. You are. Just because you care about the wrestling industry more than the original poster, just because you love it so much that you put so much of your material wealth into it, doesn't mean the original poster needs to. You don't need to give out money to the homeless kids. You don't need to share your wealth. Everyone has the right to decide what to support, and just because one doesn't want to support what you do, doesn't mean that he is doing something wrong. And just because you support it doesn't mean that you are in any way better or above anyother in the babylon system food chain.

You say that pirates are the ones screwing over the industry. People like you are the ones screwing over the World.

Usually, I try to play it cool. Try to treat everyone with respect. But in this case, my patience ran out. I had to say something. If someone is truly hurt by my opinion and post, I apologise. Have a fun day wherever you are. We are still living on the same globe. Peace out!

MitB predictions. I always find these fun

Raw MitB- Del Rio or Miz

SD MitB- Barrett or Sheamus

Kelly vs Brie Bella- I predict I will be taking a bathroom break

Cena vs Punk- Cena wins...snore

Big Show vs Mark Henry- Mark Henry and I really have a good feeling about this one.

Randy Orton vs Christian- Orton wins cleanly...AGAIN

I only think the Raw MITB can go 2 ways. I see either ADR winning it and either keeping it to cash in at SS or after the Cena/Punk match regardless of outcome. The other outcome I could see is Alex Riley winning to contnue the feud with the Miz. I just hope he gets some actual mic time soon because his character of just wanting to fight Miz won't do much after the feud is over.

On the SD side I think Sheamus is the obvious pick, but I see Barret and Sheamus canceling each other out. This leads to Cody winning MITB.

Other than that I think Christian wins the title with a low blow.

Kelly and Show win.

And Vince helps Cena retain the title.

Its a dying medium and one which WWE needs to find away to replace. The music industry is adapting with a greater emphasis on touring. How pro wrestling adapts, who knows, but PPV is gonna be finished within a decade.

Um, care to place a wager on that? Your comparison is horrifically flawed after all (how in the world do you compare the music industry's travails with the entire concept of 'content on demand'???). You probably don't realize this but you're predicting the demise of something far larger than what people simply call 'pay per view'. Content on demand is the solution to the rampant bundling that has gone on in ALL aspects of entertainment delivery. How many channels in your cable package do you watch on a regular basis? 'A la carte pricing' (in both media, phone services, and general entertainment) is an offshoot of the content on demand delivery system and that's not going away. So you can spend $50 a month for 100 channels of which you'll only watch 10 regularly, or you can spend $10 a month for the 10 channels you actually watch.

PPV (as most people consider it) hasn't yet explored the option of bundling, because there aren't many content providers who can create enough content to make it worthwhile. But it's still an avenue left to be explored and it'll be a decade before its depths are fully plumbed (so your prediction is short sighted). The only thing that could hasten the demise of content on demand is if more companies underwrite events (to make them free to watch. See: Spike TV & UFC) or if piracy becomes more than just the purview of the tech-savvy. Underwriting events presents a level of risk most companies aren't comfortable dealing with so it may be a few years before that gets traction. And there are tens of millions of people in the US alone who can't even figure out how to handle email without a front end client (like Outlook) to do it for them so I don't see a quantum leap in tech sense in the foreseeable future.

I think Mark Twain said it best.....

Errr...I know you're a Steelers fan, but Browns fans are usually considered the most loyal fans of any sports team and the Browns have supporters all over the world. The Browns Backers Worldwide is the largest fan organization for a sports team in the US.

Numbers mean nothing. Browns fans are meek & mild. They demand little or nothing from their team and thus, they get little or nothing. Compare them to Yankees fans (if the team isn't fully committed to winning championships, we withdraw financial support) or the Packers (whose fans have a real voice in the team's operations, to a degree). The last time the Cleveland Browns (in name) were a competitive team, my team broke their backs (twice!) and practically ran them out of town (<img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />) and they still haven't recovered. Then again, when you lose a franchise, it makes the fans all the more appreciative if they get another one (ask Baltimore).

As far me liking the Jaguars, I've liked them since the year they became a team. Something about them just stuck with me and Mark Brunell is my favorite quarterback of all time.

Wow, your standards. I thought I was weird for liking Craig Morton but he's nowhere close to my favorite quarterback of all time.

WrestlingCentury, I can appreciate your ire with regard to piracy but it's a sign of the times. Until content providers (of all stripes) dedicate themselves to consistently producing the highest quality content they can, you're going to have some stinkers (and even that's not a complete solution). And the buyers of those stinkers are going to be upset/angry at having been taken advantage of. Sometimes, that anger turns to, uh, "nefarious activities", of which piracy is one example. This doesn't excuse it but that old adage comes to mind ("Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.....). That's not even getting into the "something for nothing" impulse.

I love seeing people "argue" (not really arguing but...) over sports I know nothing about, makes me see what it is like when I used to argue over football (the one where key body part used is the feet), I really don't get it, but it just comes even though you know it isn't in anyway detrimental to you <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />. Much like the whole Cena punching CM Punk cause he called him that NY team (Jets? I can't remember <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />)

Personality and play style comes into play when I choose a favorite player. I don't consider him the greatest, I just like him.

Favorite running backs are Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew.

And wide receiver is Jimmy Smith(though, he has hall of fame stats :p)

I would say the Steelers fanbase is one of the most fickle in sports. I'm not saying they don't have any real fans, and they do have a massive amount of them, but pretty much everyone I've met that is a Steeler's fan can't name a single player on the team.

Then again, I'm a Chargers fan and I'm probably the only one who can name most of the team lol.
