Pretty disappointed by the ending (Abyss pointing at Hogan). It was the same exact thing as last week. I want to see Hogan get destroyed by Abyss or else this is pointless.

Well the Hogan-Abyss feud is apparently going to go on for a few months so I don't mind them not hotshotting Abyss destroying Hogan yet.

Another good/decent show. And yeah the ECW fraction could work and be very entertaining. If it will bring ratings etc is another question but the ECW relaunch did do a 2+ if I remember correctly. Not that it really matters much at the moment business wise. Still more interested in They and Them then the Nexus hehe.

ECW died 10 years ago it time to let it go seriously wrestling has moved on. WWE made it quite clear there ECW wasnt THE ECW!

Thats not true, I have plenty of friends and family members that know of ECW and the good ECW at that, while I agree that it might not bring huge ratings it would bring in more ratings. The first ECW VKM had put a 2.5 or higher IIRC and were not talking of makeing it a new ECW just an ECW group Dreamer, Raven, Stevie and I would like to see Sabu, Sandman in as well. We'll have to see how it goes but this could be good and give good rub to guys on the way up the card. The only thing I'm worried about is with WWE doing the NXT Invasion that this will come off a little copyish but I know they have been planing this a few months before the NXT thing happened.

 

PS. Also anything that brings Heyman in is good:)

I mean, you will never, ever, ever see someone running WWE do a shoot, whereas this is the active owner of TNA looking straight at the fans and giving them answers to solid questions.

Can not wait for that one. I liked the Cornette one and although Dixie is quite good at spin etc it will still be very interesting. Won't ever see Dunn, Johnny Ace or anyone corporate from the E doing something like this. Except if Shane had a true falling out which does not seem to be the case.

If you don't have Cornette's either the shoot or the invasion rebook those are quite good. Also Raven's booking shoot is quite good.

I have all the Guest Bookers (guilty pleasure...plus I try to implement stuff in TEW). I only have the Cornette YouShoot (haven't yet watched it). And Raven's is pure gold.

Cornette's guest booker is the most overrated guest booker ever. The first month or so of his guest booker sounded awesome. But then you realize that he'd have to keep that crap up for a year and it just wouldn't work.

I like his mouthing off and the ideas behind the booking ideas better then the actual implementation of said ideas. Terry Funk as a Main Eventer in 2001? Seriously?

Yep wrestlemania that would end the whole feud as to who/what was better. Last match or second to last match. With an equal in terms of strength storyline going in making Funk look like a real threat. Yes he would lose at mania but it would not be straight jobbing ala DDP.

I have watched the last three iMPACT episodes, which is probably the most consecutive wrestling I've seen in about 8 years, and I've been impressed. For all the talk of Hogan and Bischoff bringing in the old guard, from these episodes they've done a pretty good job of selling me the 'TNA' guys.

 

Jay Lethal has been a breath of fresh air, I could listen to AJ Styles all day and I was impressed by Abyss at the beginning of the last episode (which surprised me). No one is really monopolising TV time and everyone seems to be getting a shot at getting seen.

 

Slightly worried that this invasion thing is going to mean Abyss is going to start throwing glass around and stapling things to his head (not a hardcore fan at all) but on the whole I think they're quickly becoming more interesting than the 'E (certainly character-wise, in my opinion). No one has shouted 'this is awesome,' which used to get on my wick so that helps too!

Is Brian Kendrick supposed to be weird? Because I haven't watched for about a month, and I decided to watch this week's episode. And Kendrick was acting... pretty weird in my estimation.
