TNA House shows + chance to be on t.v. once storylines evolved >>>> Any indie. Being main eventer in ROH would be a lateral move so the only thing that would be good for him money/profile wise would be taking a chance with the E.

And that's just looking at it for him personally. As a wrestling fan I won't be seeing him on t.v. anymore on the program I like watching, ROH style I don't like and WWE is questionable if they will use him and how long he will be stuck in developmental.

So as it stands now no this is not good in anyway shape or form and can only be good if he goes to the E and gets really used or becomes a main eventer in ROH for a lateral move. Or maybe becomes a big part of NJPW

As a different kind of wrestling fan, who doesn't enjoy the Impact product, and is wholly unsatisfied with only seeing Shelley in a 4-minute X-Division match every 6 weeks, I'd be much happier seeing him on the indies. Still might only get to see one of his matches every 6 weeks, but at least they would be lengthy and satisfying.

Different strokes. My stance is a very, very selfish one.

As for the effect on his career... Not really my concern. I hear it was his choice to quit, so more power to him. Shame his contract didn't end earlier. He could have got in on the Super Juniors tournament.

Shelley to WWE's new (rumored) cruiser weight show please.

Agreed. Dude is phenomenal live. TNA has misused the guy. For Shelley's sake I hope they have real plans for the (new) cruiserweight division beyond a crappy show buried in their lineup.

The guy is truly one of the best I've seen and I couldnt possibly say enough nice things about him.

Good. Maybe he can hit up the indies and actually have some matches for a change.

Sounds good to me! Though I'd be cool with him going to WWE too if they're interested. Either way, I don't blame him for leaving. He was rarely ever used in all that time that Sabin was hurt, aside from a brief mini-feud with Aries. And when Sabin finally came back, the Guns were featured on Impact for all of a month before becoming afterthoughts. Shame.

Finally watched last week's Impact (the open fight night) all the way through. Pretty good show.

I enjoyed the beginning segment with Hogan and Bully, Angle, Hardy, and A.J. Neat worked shoot type stuff.

I like that TNA is trying to change and evolve and do something different. They'll never be on WWE's level most likely or even really be serious competition to them at any point, but I feel like wrestling needs new ideas.

I'm not saying they're setting the world on fire, but they are switching things up. And maybe they will come up with something that defines them as standout who knows?

Seeing that I don't watch TNA regularly, I'm really glad to see them putting faith in a young guy like Bobby Roode as TNA World champ.

I'm not sure what to think about the gut check thing that they do. The casual fan might not follow what Tazz, Snow (great to see him though!), and Pritchard are talking about.

Aries and Sabin had a decent match too and Abyss unmasked in that lawyer gimmick is interesting.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the TNA product but that doesn't change the fact they they're doing a number of good things with the young talent and especially the women's division, which they have yet to show off tonight. I'm not sure what to think of Brooke Hogan's involvement except for getting people to watch the program tonight.

Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of surprise or something, tonight?

Also.

Hall Of Fame. Really? The only TNA guy to ever accomplish anything of actual significance is AJ Styles. Way too early to induct him.

Surprise = hall of fame. They could induct Christian Cage lol seeing as he got that highlight and as part of the whole Flair deal. And if they keep it to 1 per year there are plenty, and there are plenty that have done great things in wrestling in general and are not part of WWE's version and/or have been part of TNA for a while.

Sting, Jerry Jarrett, Ken Shamrock, Raven, Macho Man (lol). It really depends what route they take it. Focused on TNA but also general contributions ala WWE, general hall of fame like the Amsterdam one (the real one) or pure TNA. Only retired/former/current etc workers. Celebrity wing? etc. etc.

BTW its 3 years on Christian Nov 2005 - Nov 2008, and he was a big part of the show in those three years.

Complaints against TNA's HOF are either that they have only been around 10 years or that they don't have anyone worthy of induction.

The WWF started the HOF in the early 1990s, at time when they had basically only existed since the early 1980s. (The WWF of Vince McMahon rarely acknowledged the fact that they existed prior to Hulkamania, and even less so the idea of the WWWF.) WCW also had a HOF in the mid 90s.

Also, the WWF HOF is full of wrestlers and promoters who didn't work for them, some who hated the WWF and wanted it put out of business. There are plenty of people TNA can induct.

Lastly, TNA can induct guys based on their WCW/NWA careers as well. TNA is the logical survivor of WCW, even if the two promotions aren't related. Sting being inducted makes total sense.

I admit, I didn't even think about Sting, and that was a big mistake on my part.

So Jeff Jarrett, Sting, AJ Styles, Ron Killings are ones I would say are worthy.

Raven is a personal favorite, but if we're only looking at it as a TNA HoF and not a wrestling HoF, he had 1 very short TNA Title reign.

Shamrock being the 1st ever champion puts him in the middleground I guess. He was there in the very beginning but I wouldn't say he left a lasting impression.

Then there are guys like Roode, Storm, Eric Young, Chris Sabin, among others who have been with the company for all or most of the history of TNA. And sometimes that's all it takes, loyalty.

TNA is only inducting 1 member a year. That hardly makes it "we'll let anyone in"

2. The idea of a Hall of Fame wasn't invented by WWE.

The WWE lets anyone into their HOF. So why can't TNA?<img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I agree with Arrows, them having a HOF is a joke.
