What's going on in your game?

Recommended Posts

After nine months with TCW, I've got bored of my global wrestling empire. Huge staff of workers, 3 tv shows, 2 brands... That was too much too handle at once to keep the game fun, so I've quited and started my own company!

National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) based in Tri-State

Modern and Realism product

Key feature: Modern, realism

Medium: Traditional, Old School, Mainstream

Low: Pure, Luchalibre

I'm building up a roster with Steve Flash and El Presidente (User Character) as key workers.

So far, most notable recruits are:

The Paratroopers (mostly being cheap recruits with backstage chemistry)

Texas Pete

KC Glenn

Steve Frehley

Steve Flash

Amber Allen

Principessa

Unfortunately, a jobless Dark Angel wasn't interested working in US....

I've grinded PSW to June 2011, with slowly but steadily putting on solid cards. My popularity has gone up by one grade and now I'm in a regional battle with FCW and NYCW. I've tried several dirty tricks on NYCW and they've all failed. I've gained money constantly, until last month when I did some scheduling fixes and it cost me some money and gained me some popularity outside my home region. I'm in war with NYCW, probably soon also with FCW and I currently have working agreements with FCW, MAW and USPW.

My top stars are Tribal Warrior, Rhino Umaga, Doug Peak, Jumbo Jackson and Robbie Retro. I lost Andre Jones to NYCW, well not too heartbroken about that as he didn't produce the goods I had expected. I've pretty much ditched the original roster of PSW as the remaining workers are Mitch Naess, Doc Messing, Ash Campell, Teddy Powell, Johnny Martin, Grandmaster Phunk, The Punisher, The Wolverine, Dead Bolt, Primal Rage and Nicole Kiss.

Any thoughts on how many shows should I hold? Is one medium show a month enough as I'm getting slightly outdone by the competition. It's been bit of a surprise how hard it is to find suitable workers who are willing to take crazy bumps, i.e. The Good Ol' Boys not willing to do so. Luckily there always is Madman Boone!

I'm happy that someone else is also playing PSW.

I advice you to stay ata Tri-state area for as long you get to about C+ popularity. Then you get some spill over in 3 areas. Then build those areas and get some money so you won't die when you get to cult. You can also get TV show while you are regional.

I had 12 shows first year, 18 in second year and then 24 per year until I got my TV show. Doug Peak does crazy bumps and Bullet and Barrera does crazy bumps (tag team that debuts in 2012)

I'm currently playing as CGC and it is May 2011 just before Chaos In The Cage. It's pretty exciting stuff, I'm really enjoying this game atm.

NOTBPW just hit national and considering they are on a working agreement with me, they have signed alot of my stars to PPA contracts. I used to get about 1/4 shows losing popularity but in the last month or two I have managed to get much higher ratings than ever before.

humm well when I started my WWE, it was set after the ECW folded, and i also got rid of Superstars.

6/7 months in and I'm still on developing the divisions and getting the new guys over like Colt Cabana, Chris Hero, Tyler black, Jimmy Jacobs, Jay lethal, Davey Richards. Motor City machine guns

Chris Hero , MCMG, Jay lethal are Midcard getting the most over, with Colt Cabana at lower midcard putting on solid matches and giving the upper midcarders solid wins, he will soon go up the roster.

I extended the Tag division,

My plan is to Expand and create another brand.

I don't know if i want it to be a major brand like Raw and Smackdown or a Brand where I can get the younger guys over.

I have enough stars to move over there to make it a legit major Brand. especially with the NWA world title I bought and managed to raise its prestige so it's classed as a 3rd major title in the WWE.

Thinking of calling the new Brand WWE: NWA

Its roser will have:

Main eventers/top stars for the Brand:

Cm Punk (NWA champion)

John Morrison

Big show

The Miz

Jack swagger

............................

Solid workers like

Santino

Goldust

Finlay

.................................

It'll have the WWE's Tag division which consists of

Hardy Boyz ( Matt and Jeff)

MVP and Henry

Motor City Machine Guns

Harlem Thunder (Booker T and Shelton Benjamin)

Hart Dynasty

Celtic Warriors ( Sheamus and Red Vinny)

Paul London and Brian Kendrick

There are a lot of options I can do with the Tag teams, i can also use some of the higher profile people in tag teams to use in single matches if needs be.

I may put the new guys who haven't been given a big push yet in here to help there overness and popularity

Davey Richards,

Justin Gabrial

Jimmy Jacobs

Looking to promote some FCW guys to use as jobbers and see how they do, Heath slater , skip sheffield, Richie Steamboat etc

Just thought I'd share on my latest soon to be masterpiece. The Road Agent notes said that the fans were getting tired of Nathan Black's gimmick and seeing as though he wasn't in a storyline and I've been quite bored with him (even though I really like his re-render and want to keep using him.) So I gave him a metalhead gimmick and turned him into Nathan Black-Metal. I'm still unsure whether I should change his valet Persephone to Persephone Power-Metal (she doesn't fit the gimmick unfortunetely.)

:D That is all

It's 2022 in my WCW game and I've decided to hire Loxley Robbins. I paid for his relocation expenses (like I do for everyone outside of the US) since his monthly contract is only for $2,500. His Star Quality (98) makes me want to push him to the moon, but his age (35) has him behind a lot of people from the US who have earned their spot for a big push. I'm going to have him on either my Monday Mayhem or Sunday Stampede brands.

His Entertainment skills are awesome (B's) and his Safety (97), Consistency (85), and Selling (85) is top notch. Those last three stats are why I signed him from APW. He's able to put on a decent match without hurting anyone and also has the ability to sell his ass off and make somebody else look REALLY good. I'm just a tad worried about his Psychology (43). Though WCW Heavyweight Champion (Sunday Stampede brand) Bucky Stark has a 51 in Psychology. Stark really lucked into that main event role though.

I ended up throwing him in a match with Troy Tornado (Underdog vs Heavyweight Champ) on TV and they had Great Chemistry. I didn't directly put them into a program together due to Troy and Kevin Christopher (KC Glenn) being the main story on that brand at the time, but I was able to hotshot Stark to the top with Troy carrying him on his back. I see no reason I can't do that with Robbins either.

And soon I'll have to let Doug Peak go as my new owner goal of at least D- charisma is too far to go for him in 5 months. Also The Punisher isn't going to meet that criteria and there goes another bumper. Lots of insane moments for my user character then :D

WCW 2002

World Title: Goldberg is still champ and just beat another unstoppable monster Taz. Kurt Angle is the #1 contender though and never before has Goldberg faced someone so skilled in the ring. Kurt will go over Goldberg but not this first matchup. By the end of 2002 Angle will be the champion.

US Title: Kurt Angle dropped the belt to Shane Douglas when Kanyon helped him win by distracting Kurt. Kurt got revenge and then turned heel right away. Shane Douglas looks like he is going to defend against Adam Edge, and Eddie Guerrero in the next few months. He may hold the title for the rest of 2002.

Tag Titles: Jindrak & O'Haire hold the titles and I think will lose to Road Warrior Animal and Rick Steiner. Those 2 will hold the belts for a couple months before losing to Jindrak & O'Haire again probably.

Cruiserweight Title: Rey Mysterio has held the belt for a long time and defended it against all the other cruiserweights. By the end of 2002 he will lose the belt and move on to battle for the US Title Belt.

Ric Flair is on jobber duty. DDP is getting over and may get some sort of title run in 2002. Kevin Nash is steady beating mid and lower mid guys in an attempt to get those guys over. Scott Steiner is on jobber duty because next time he causes backstage issues he is fired. Sting is being booked well and may be a title contender for Angle eventually.

Should I do a diary for this game? It is inspired by Big Papas WCW diary. I would probably use his format for this diary too. More of a month by month instead of show by show.

I've started another new game. I'm getting bored easily these times.. :p

So, I've returned to my all-time favorites since 2007, NOTBPW!

I've decided to play without *cheating* via the editor.

User character is a colour commentator / manager.

I've also decided to play without hoarding young talents early like the Gauge Twins, Davis Dwayne Newton and so on.

I only signed some free agents to bolster my roster like Cal Sander, Roderick Remus, Stephanie Hazel, Regular Joe and Amber Allen.

During the first 6 months, I've managed to run several *A* shows, hoping to raise to national ASAP.

I was running two very succesful feuds storylines

  1. Steve DeColt vs. Jeremy Stone
  2. Johnny Bloodstone vs. Sean McFly

In July, the promotion (so am I) shocked by two terrible events:

  1. DeColt's CGC raising to national BEFORE us. Even if we are overall more popular than them in the country, they hitted C+ importane faster than us..
  2. Jeremy Stone, now my champion and my IRL C-verse favorite character, walking out the company, being too big for the promotion. I was surprise the new owner, Dan Jr, didn't convince Jeremy to stay.

So, having more elite heels workers than babyfaces (2:1 ratio), I've decided to put the Canadian belt on Dan Stone Jr.

Soon after, my new hit storyline started: The Anti-Stone Liga

Steve DeColt allied himself with Johnny Bloodstone, Owen Love and The Natural to achieve the unimaginable: Bring down the last remnants of the Stone Family in the promotion.

Duane Stone's gone to Japan

Edd Stone's now partying like Lindsey Lohan in California

Jeremy Stone left the company, probabling being soon snatch by SWF or TCW.

Dan Sr has left the business.

Dan Stone Jr. is more isolated than ever. Hopefully he still got the support from his sister Victoria and hers husband, Sean McFly.

The Stone family have never being so weak and vulnerable... Stay tuned!

Well, after trying out the C-Verse for the first time ever (and I've played most of the EWR/TEW games), I'm just so fascinated by the stories surrounding the characters and the companies. I have no idea why I never gave this a chance before.

Just played a year and a half with NOTBPW, and it was a thrill. I usually play performance-based companies for a while before deciding to let the creative juices flow and start with a entertainment-type promotion. I lost Johnny Bloodstone a few months in, which hurt my main event scene, but guys like John Maverick and Owen Love eventually became huge stars and had a run with the Canadian Title. And the usual suspects (Dan Stone Jr, Jeremy Stone, Dark Angel, Sean McFly, Steve DeColt, The Natural) were solid as usual, and surprisingly, I didn't lose any of them to one of the big boys.

But I sort of got bored after a year and a half, as I was never able to hit national due to the falling wrestling industry for about the first year of the game. Things picked up nicely at the start of 2011, but my joy for the promotion ran out.

Enter World Championship Wrestling. That's right, I created my own promotion, and named it WCW (my reasoning behind this is that since I have a lot of real world mods downloaded, I have WCW banners, title pics, and PPV pics, which adds to the feel of the game). Yes, I took the easy route, and started at cult with a nice amount of money.

Working on getting a TV deal right now, and have Road Wild coming up as my next PPV. Shawn Gonzalez won the WCW Heavyweight Title at my first PPV, and Fox Mask and Silver Shark won the Tag Titles. Freddie Datsun is my overall top worker right now.

Some other nice acquisitions: John Maverick, Owen Love, Steve Flash (duh), Eddie Chandler, Fumihiro Ota, Jack Griffith, Johnny Martin, Kazuma Narato, and Zeus Maxmillion.

Really excited about the mixture of styles, as though we're still a performance-based company, there is room for storylines as well.

Shawn Gonzalez and Freddie Datsun are gonna headline Road Wild!

<p>Vince McMahon dares to retire at age 65 in 2011 in my game, thus prematurely ending my main RAW storyline he was a big part of ... gotta live with it ofc, so I added a little stipulation to the fued between Vince's stable and John Cena - if Cena manages to defend his WWE Heavyweight title at Extreme Rules vs Ted DiBiase, McMahon's stable (The Legacy and Sheamus) will be forced to disband and break up across the 3 brands, and Vince will have to retire. Nothing too unique but the only valid solution to end this fued within the next 3 weeks (he retires a week after Extreme Rules, but only after I changed the schedule so that the PPV is on at Sunday week 3 instead of week 4) as opposed to the original plan that would have had it continue for another 2-3 months. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

It will create a new storyline soon though when Triple H returns from his vacation - HHH will return as a heel and align with Stephanie, acknowledge their marriage on screen and go out and seek to get revenge on Cena in the name of the McMahon family.</p>

Seen someone else's save gave where a 70 year old Sam Strong was still holding on and running USPW.</p>

<p>Another month on with my SWF game in the lead up to the August PPV (the one with the battle royale).</p><p>

Last month Christian Faith arrived with 3 debuting stars, Rocky Golden, Rick Law & Tony Rennie (Troy Tornado) ready to do battle in the Supreme Challenge. Although Rocky failed to take the strap from Eric Eisen, the Supremacy's power took a hit and no longer had the heavy numerical advantage they'd enjoyed before. Emma Chase has been a bit peeved at her partner/Supremacy chief Eric Eisen with the whole situation since The Supreme Challenge. She questioned how did he not know about the arrival of Faith's 3 outsiders, being an Eisen and all... he's argued that it was her duty to know about all that stuff and thats why she's there, which she countered that she didnt have enough influence behind the scenes... to be continued...</p><p> </p><p>

On to Rick Law, his law enforcement gimmick has gone to a new level at SWF. He literally acts as a law & order enforcer on behalf of the unseen company decision-makers, ensuring that the excessive beatdowns, all-in-brawls and other heelish things dont get out of hand or go unpunished. He's even arranging to have matches booked in a few cases, which is what he did when Valient copped a nasty backstage beatdown from former tag partner Giedroyc and other Supremacy goons. Valient happily forfeiting his spot in the battle royale to get his hands on Giedroyc at the same PPV.</p><p> </p><p>

The duo of Christian Faith and Rocky Golden did the same thing. They challenged Eisen and Remo to a match at the PPV forfeiting their spots in the battle royale too. The Supremacy accepting the match cos the winner of said battle royale can challenge for the heavyweight title and Emma convinced Eric having them two out of the equation was a very good thing.</p><p>

Faith has also been busy playing peacemaker between faces Steve Frehley and Angry Gilmore. At the Supreme Challenge, Frehley botched an interference on Remo, costing Angry the match against him. Over the weeks, there have been a few altercations and words said between the two, forcing Faith to step in, telling Angry to keep focussed on The Supremacy, whilst Gilmore was upset he wasnt siding with him. On the last show before PPV, a 3v3 against Supremacy trio Remo, Enforcer Roberts & Jay Chord was the main event, with Faith teaming with Frehley and Gilmore, much to their initial surprise and dismay. It worked on the night, the face trio won and a postmatch all-in-brawl seemingly ensured their attention was back on The Supremacy.</p><p> </p><p>

In the battle royale, Faith's hard work in smoothing the Frehley/Gilmore tension fell apart when Angry eliminated Frehley. The winner though was Rich Money, who is clearly reinvigorated since Dawn arrived by his side, being the only one who 'understands' him. Angry Gilmore was the last elimination, after they teamed with Tony Rennie to eliminate Marat Kohklov, them being the last four. Also, tag strap holders Clean n Classy (Squeeky & Huntingdon) were both eliminated by their current challengers The Amazing Bumfholes. The previous weeks, CnC promised to put the belts on the line at the PPV if Randy beat Huntingdon, which he did, only for CnC to laugh in their faces when there was no room on the card at the PPV, which they knew all along.</p><p> </p><p>

Also at the PPV, Valient went over Giedroyc in a no-dq match after their last match was a draw, getting his revenge for the betrayal.</p><p>

Whilst in the epic tag match between Faith/Rocky vs Eisen/Remo, Faith managed to get the win by pinning Remo for the second time in a week! Setting the focus on Faith and Remo in the coming month...</p>

<p>Bam Bam Bigelow requested his release so I granted it. He didn't like jobbing to guys who were just getting their feet wet in wrestling.</p><p> </p><p>

Ric Flair asked for his release but I didn't grant it. Instead I jobbed him some more and then sent him down to NWA:Michigan to train people even though he said he wasn't a teacher.</p><p> </p><p>

Ron Killings debuted with Joanie Laurer. She was his manager. I had him go over Scott Steiner, and Bam Bam Bigelow. His skills are dreadful though. Not sure what I am going to do with him but I sent him to developement for now to work on his rumble skills.</p><p> </p><p>

I am about to bring Hogan back to the full time roster from NWA:Michigan. I think 2 months there has removed his ring rust. Once I bring him back as a heel I may have him feud with Goldberg for a little bit by interfering in a lot of his matches. Let Hogan beat up on young guys who aren't main eventers for a couple months too.</p><p> </p><p>

Hollywood Hogan, and Kurt Angle loosely aligning as a heel group with Taz, Shane Douglas, Lance Storm, and Vampiro against the good guys Goldberg, Sting, DDP, Edge, Booker T, and Eddie Guerrero. Those are my top guys right now.</p>
