The New Blood idea was recycled time and time again from 97, because the nWo storyline and its wrestlers kept killing it from happening. It was originally going to be Chris Benoit leaving the Four Horseman with Guerrero, Regal and a couple of other guys in a faction named Apoclypse, claiming themselves to be the real deal. Then they were going to do something after the nWo split up. Then the nWo reformed, and we got Revolution, LWO, and Filthy Animals as shadows of what could have been. Then the Radicalz walked out, and we got the even more watered down New-Blood.</p>

Anyway, back to what this thread is about...</p><p>

got some minor burn out with my swf game, so I decided to turn to a 0/0/0 game... in Australia. I have to admit, the aussie scene has not appealed to me at all simply because IMO its just doesnt really click... difficult to explain, but being from there the c-verse portayal of australia is a struggle to buy into... its probably a lot of small things put together. Its also why I chose a 000 game, making it easier to mould my own promotion and counter the flaws. Maybe if another version of TEW comes out, might throw a few words together in the suggestions forum. </p><p>

In the meantime, I managed to look past a few points and edit some others! Amongst other things, Western Austalia is being treated as South East (Melbourne) and I put more seperation between Oz & NZ, giving the kiwi's their own media networks.</p><p>

Hinged my new SCW (Southern Cross Wrestling - typical SE product) roster on the menacing trio of Vaughan, Chopper Rourke and Blitz Simpson - The Barracudas. On the first show they basically announced to everyone they rule and they're doing whatever they want whenever they want. They disrupted proceedings from start to finish, including the four-way ME for the inaugural SCW National Championship title involving Maurice Jackson, Cesar Sionis, Crazy Blue (Milton Hittlespitz) and Drago (Dom Drago), giving them all a spanking.</p><p>

Jackson will be the lone face up against The Barracudas and he's already SCW's first champ going over Cesar Sionis on the 2nd show ME, before copping a nasty belting from The Barra's. I'm liking the backstage cancer that is 'The Greek Punisher' Sionis, lots of greeks in Oz and keeping him over (after 2 shows, that translates to F+) is in my best interests, with the majority of the crowd booing him, while the greek corner is giving him a face reaction!</p><p>

Once I've spread the o/ness amongst those 5 main characters, then I'll try bring up the rest of the roster, including...</p><p>

Drago - heel eastern european gimmick</p><p>

Mabbo - (formerly Menacing *I think) heel aborigine.</p><p>

Felix 'F Bomb' Harding - face</p><p>

Rod Sullivan - face teen idol</p><p>

I think Faith, Money, Gilmore is the best in terms of all-round talent (sorry, Sean, your mic skills don't cut it!) but Gilmore is only 34.

 

Hmm, I think Faith and Money work well as a Caesar/Pompey parallel. And I'm going to rule out Train (for starting to suck, sadly) and Gilmore (for being too young). So... does the "Crassus" role go to the entertainer, Jack Bruce, the technical expert, Sean McFly, or the monster, Vengeance?

I've just looked and his Charisma has jumped to C (Mic and Acting both D+) in the 6ish months I've had him and I gave him a singles promo on the show I just booked which rated at an A... so, yeah, apparently he can hang with my top guys on the stick, and Faith/Money are only going to help that.

 

Plus it gives a massive heel turn moment (from his E- rating I'm guessing McFly has never been heel). At Times Of Trouble, DuBois, Spade and Steel are fighting for the right to face Faith at Supreme Challenge but it'll end in some screwy non-finish. Then in an uncharacteristic act of charity, Faith is going to say they can all face him... cue his partners, Money and McFly turning heel to form a super-group. They'll run through the youngsters at SC and then probably dominate for a while until another group of youngsters rise up to beat them.

 

Edit: Unrelated to that but in the same game, I've spent a couple of months pushing Hell Monkey hard as Dragon Mask using one of his awesome alts... A over all through US, and less than a month away from capturing the NA title from Gilmore at SC his contract came up. No bother, I regularly outbid TCW. Except I hadn't really taken notice of his A* Japan overness. Eisen refuses to go above $65000, Burning Hammer steal him away. Sad times. And Eisen stops Working Agreements, so it looks like I'll be putting out a PPV quality match on standard TV to end their feud. Bah.

<p>In my 0/0/0 game, or might have been 0/0/0/0 don't remember now. 3rd year in, using MCD October. Just took the title off Ace Steel after the held it for nearly two years. Put it on Aden Chambers. First Champ was Johnny Kashmere, then Hijo De Rey Misterio, wanted to keep it on him but contract come for renewal and he wanted way to much money for me to keep him. Up to small size, 6 promotions battling, always finish 5th or 6th. </p><p> </p><p>

Vince retired, Mark Cuban brought WWE, P.S Hayes is head booker. ROH is up to National with the weirdest roster, Batista, Mick Foley, Hulk Hogan and Chris Sabin are the biggest stars with Sabin as Champ. Oh and I forgot Buff as main event face. lol. TNA is kicking ass with Claudio, Davey Richards, Daniels and Jeff Hardy leading the way.</p>

<p>I was able to acquire Tamara McFly from NOTBPW via the help of her niece (Lucy) and nephew (imported character Lyle). Apparently she wasn't happy with the direction up north and has decided to join the fastest growing promotion on earth. There was no real reason to grab her besides the fact that she's Sean McFly's sister and will give me massive pull when his contract comes up. </p><p> </p><p>

Lucy has settled in to a nice women's wrestling role in my tag division and Lyle is in development fine tuning himself for the big time. Lucy was ready to go out of the gate, but I didn't feel it would be "fair" to the game world to have TWO great youngsters. Playing the '77 verse for the first time, And I'm November of my first year as CWF, and had one of my biggest TEW screwups ever.</p><p> </p><p>

I was booking the big November show, which had two huge matches, one the end of my Dan Stone v Jean- Pierre Baptiste feud, and the start to a tag title feud between the Wolverines and a team of Sam Strong and Chandler Baker I've been building since I got Strong in April.</p><p> </p><p>

The Co-Main Event got a 91, my best match to date, and FAR exceeding my expectations. My BEST MATCH TO DATE.</p><p>

Than the Stone, Baptiste feud, which I had high expectations for, topped it, with a 92, and I'M STOKED</p><p>

....Than I saw that next was still up.</p><p>

I had forgotten to move my Women's title match to the opening slot... it got a 46 as the main event.</p><p>

The card ended with 56, and what would have been my best card in a years work, hurt my popularity.</p><p> </p><p>
