The Final Countdown
Anyone else watch Final Battle? Great PPV, I really liked the main event between AJ Styles and Jay Lethal. I am also happy War Machine are the tag team champions. It's just hard for me to justify paying $30 or more to watch a single wrestling show these days. NJPW World really spoiled me in that respect. Not sure if War Machine winning was always in the plans or not, but it sounds like Bennett and Maria are finished with ROH and will be turning up in the comatose remains of TNA next year. Atticus
Anyone else watch Final Battle? Great PPV, I really liked the main event between AJ Styles and Jay Lethal. I am also happy War Machine are the tag team champions. Caught it yesterday. Lot of fun. First ROH event I've watched start-to-finish since their 2002 debut show. Cole/KOR, Strong/Fish, and Lethal/Styles were all awesome. Also glad to see a Silas Young match for once. Love that dude.
Wrestling Century
Darn, I'm sad The Kingdom seems to be done. They were one of my favorite tag teams, but I really like War Machine as well, so at least the tag titles are still held by a (imo) good tag team. I would really enjoy a War Machine vs All Night Express feud. IMO ROH has the best tag division in the world right now, and with WWE's tag division not sucking for the first time in about a decade, I'm overjoyed as a big fan of Tag Wrestling. cappyboy
I hear ya. At least where the Kingdom and War Machine are concerned. Bennett and Taven meshed so perfectly together. Seems a shame we won't be seeing them together in 2016. Just don't know about your War Machine/ANX idea. I'm not really sold on ANX from a character perspective. Both guys are solid talent in the ring but the association seems forced. King in particular has never really struck me as organic as the cool party animal type. And the controversy over how he left before doesn't exactly have me chomping at the bit to embrace him now either. I'd much rather see War Machine tussle with with The Addiction or Dem Boys. Plus with the Kingdom seemingly done, it does appear the division could use some fresh blood. The Future Shock reunion being a swerve hurts in my mind. The Young Bucks may have talent and may have signed a new deal with RoH. But it's hard to see them as true RoH talent. I've been sick of Red Dragon since two minutes after they formed. I have trouble watching RPG Vice because Romero's a day tripper. And there isn't that Future Shock kind of team at the bottom of the division that guys can bubble up from the way Cole and O'Reilly did. I can question whether O'Reilly deserved to but that's another issue for another time. Point is while on pure talent, RoH may have the best tag team division the mix could be better in my mind. Maybe Top Prospect can fix that for us like it did in 2014 when it gave birth to War Machine.
Jaysin
I never liked Taven. He always comes across like someone's Create-A-Wrestler to me. Bennett grew on me though. Anyways, recently became a ringside member on their vod section. Anyone have any particular shows they'd suggest watching?
Dave_Scott
Just found out I can still watch ROH on my local channel WTGS which carries COMET!!!!! So PUMPED! :D

BHK1978
I just don't get why people love the Young Bucks so much. What is it about them? I watch them and I find them annoying as hell and not the least bit entertaining but it would seem I am in the majority in that regards. In fact I don't get the whole love for the Bullet Club either. I mean besides AJ, none were truly over in the States. It took them going to Japan to become stars. Kenny Omega reminds me of a poor man's Dolph Ziggler with worse hair. Usually I can understand why people like certain wrestlers or stables, even if I do not like them. For instance the Hardy's, I get why Jeff is popular. I have never been a fan but I get why people love him. I just don't get why people are enamored with The Bullet Club and specifically The Young Bucks. Bullet Club is this generations NWO.....We might not always get what these kids are into these days but atleast they are not over expanding like our NWO did! I get the comparison you are trying to make but the Bullet Club has nowhere near the star power of the original NWO. I mean the NWO had one of the biggest if not the biggest star in wrestling history as the leader. While the Bullet Club had AJ Styles, who is a great wrestler and popular in his own right, who could never match the popularity that Hogan had (Though not many can or ever will match his popularity). I also wonder when they are going to take the World Title off Jay. He seems to have grown stale as champion and I think they should take the belt off him. vtechguy
Anybody else here a fan of Lio Rush? I've met the guy in real life before he got back with MCW & ROH. He's a pretty cool guy and was tag team partner to Patrick Clark from Tough Enough.

There was no way they could compare to what Hogan brought to that group.
BHK1978
I went to an ROH show over the weekend and it was good. Kaz & Christopher Daniels were funny in the way they interacted with the fans who were shouting stuff at them. Moose was really over with the crowd. Same goes for the Young Bucks, which I still don't get why but hey they are really over so that is all that counts. There was a funny match between Silas Young and Delirious. During the match Delirious slid out of the ring and when he "came back" into the ring it was Cheeseburger playing the role of Delirious with the mask and all. At one point Silas Young yelled at the referee, and I am paraphrasing here, "This isn't the same guy. They are not even the same skin color!" That got a laugh from the crowd. Some dude behind me tired to get a, "He's a racist!" , chant aimed at Silas going but it did not catch on.

He and Kaz were similarly fun when I saw them live last year against Sydal and Delirious. I enjoy the Bucks most of the time, but with their style and the stuff they do they're obviously going to have some naysayers. I haven't seen them live yet. Hopefully they'll be at the ROH show I'm going to in early June, but as NJPW runs their Best of the Super Juniors tournament at the same time they may be over there. Moose was pretty over when I went last year, but what really jumped out at me was how much people liked War Machine. Not sure if that was just an anomaly or if Missourians are more prone to cheering dudes like that, but it seemed like they got a much bigger response than they usually get on TV. They were probably second only to the Briscoes on that show as far as crowd response goes. Well, maybe Sydal too as the hometown guy. I was a little surprised that Kenny King did not start stuff with the crowd. I remember seeing him at an ROH show before he left for TNA and he was pretty funny with his crowd interaction. The show was in Plymouth, Massachusetts so obviously there were a ton of Red Sox fans there and every time the fans would insult him, he would make a Red Sox based insult. He did not really interact at all with the crowd on the show I went to. I have always found the Young Bucks to be lame for lack of a better term. I think it is a case of when you don't know why you don't like certain people but you just don't like them that is how I feel about them. It was the same feeling I would get when I saw X-Pac. Maybe it is because I don't feel like they look credible enough because they are usually outweighed by most of their opponents. I don't know. The main event for the show I went to was the Briscoes vs. Red Dragon vs. The Motor City Machine Guns. The Briscoes were by far the most over team out of the three teams, followed by Red Dragon. The MCMG didn't really get much of a reaction which surprised me because with them being in TNA and with Alex touring Japan on a regular basis, I thought for sure the ROH fans would react to them better. I mean I have to believe for the most part that TNA and ROH have a lot of cross-over fans but maybe that is not the case.
milamber
I only watch a few ROH and NJPW shows a year to keep up but I've seen at least half a dozen Bucks matches. They are fun to watch but lack depth. They are too small to look threatening but as cheating heels that doesn't matter so much. Their signature move is spamming superkicks, which is an average move in WWE. I also read that they were too arrogant at their WWE tryout a few years ago. I can see why people don't like them but they are solid hands in tag matches and likely exciting to watch live.
