On a personal note, I consider the Briscoes the definitive tag team of the twenty-first century. I can’t think of any other team with a comparably extensive back catalog of great matches against so many opponents. Through twenty-three years, they never broke up and feuded in any promotion (that I know of). What’s tragic is they certainly didn’t look like they were slowing down either. The Swanton825 Posted January 18, 2023 Share Posted January 18, 2023 My first exposure to ROH was during their pre-taped PPV era and even then the Briscoe Brothers were lightyears ahead of the rest of the division and most other tag teams going at the time. If ROH had a 50 minute show with 3 or 4 matches, I might could give it a shot. This is way too much imo. Less is more in this case. But now that there's no Dark anymore, this will be where they are gonna use most of the lower card.
