Bigpapa42
Memo to the Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers: the season started...feel free to show up in these games. Hey, SF showed up in the season opener. They played their "we don't suck" card in that game. Now its all downhill. As a Niners fan, watching that game yesterday with a friend who is a Zona fan... sucked. Hard.
DAVEFAN95
Carson Palmer has been getting it done in the first three weeks and that Arizona defence is like a virus man, they swarm to that ball, it's scary. By the look of things them cards could be going to The NFC title game. I think The Pack will be there Too. On the AFC side, it looks like NE will be there again, against maybe the Bengals. I kinda am in two minds about the whole Pats situation, in one sense, I want them to win, as I am a Pats fan but on the other hand I'd like to see two new teams in the title game, like the Bengals. That's just my opinion. Let's get away from the Ravens, Broncos and Pats winning the AFC, (however, I don't feel the first two will, especially with Baltimores troubles early on, and in a division with the Bengals) I'd love to see something like Bengals v Chargers. That'd be fun, but i don't think it'll happen.
CQI13
So do they fire Joe Philbin in England? Or wait until they get off the plane?
D-Lyrium
If the Dolphins front office is as bad as the Marlins front office, Philbin probably keeps his job until just after it's too late to rescue anything at all from the season, then get rid of him. smurphy1014
So do they fire Joe Philbin in England? Or wait until they get off the plane? Ah the Lane Kiffin treatment. Unfortunately for Dolphins fans I think they keep him until after the season.

I guess he's still young, but he really needs to figure this out now if he wants to stay a consistent #1 QB in the league.</p>
BHK1978
I guess Chandler Jones is just as dumb as his brother. Granted what he was using is not as bad as what his brother was using but still. BHK1978
I was reading an article where the writer posed the question of is Colin Kaepernick's protest the reason for the decline in ratings for the NFL this season. I personally am not sure that it is the case. I mean sure it might be a factor but I think a lot of the reason is because the games they have shown in primetime (Sunday night, Monday night, and Thursday night) have not been very good. A lot of the games that I have watched seem to be ending in blowouts. Which is really only interesting to the fans of the team who is winning big (Yes I am looking at that Colts/Jets crapfest that aired Monday night). The rest of the country will end up finding something better to watch. Me personally, I do not agree with what Colin Kaepernick is doing but it is his right to do it. I think some fans might not be watching because of him but I am not sure I believe that his protest is the driving force behind the decline in ratings that people believe it to be. A cynical part of me has to wonder if he initially started his protest for publicity because his fall from grace was pretty quick. I mean he went from being the starting Quaterback in the Super Bowl to being a backup just a few years later. He also had endorsement deals that dried up once his career started to fizzle. Oh and it really annoys me when people call him the modern day Jackie Robinson or Jim Brown for the risk he is taking with his protest. That crap does not fly with me. Imarevenant
Being a transplant in San Diego has been interesting this morning. A lot of the die hards and radio personalities really did think Dean Spanos was bluffing about moving the team to LA. Last year I thought it'd be funny if they moved, but it isn't. Lots of broken hearts and I feel bad for the long time fans. Worst thing is that LA doesn't even want the team.

I love the Rams, but their move to LA isn't gonna benefit the expansion of the NFL market in LA unless there is an actual winning team there. Someone who can at least make a run to try and go to the play-offs. In other business, Dallas vs. Green Bay is definitely the match i'm more interested to see this weekend. There was a reason why they all left in the first place. The only team I think had a valid case was the Raiders as that stadium is a craphole...I mean literally. The locker rooms have sewage leaking into them. I've been to both the Oakland Colosseum and Qualcom and they both equally suck ass. Of course the sewage thing puts Oakland over the top but do not underestimate just how poor the conditions are at Qualcom. The thing that's really bugging people here is that the relocation process is going to cost the Spanos family 800 million while the additional amount they wanted in Sand Diego would have put their contribution at a little over 400 million. Just shows they really had no intention of staying in San Diego.
