Sabra Man vs. The Aryan Barbarian

Sabra Man looks to rebound from his defeat at the hand's of Killer Denucci last month, but victory is easier said than done against the muscle mountain that is THE Aryan Barbarian. He clearly has the Barbarian outmatched in technical knowledge, but will that be enough for the ex-Israeli soldier to match up with The Aryan Barbarian peerless brutality and power?

Mike O'Reilly vs. Vincenzo Maenza

A couple of classically trained European wrestlers face off in what is bound to be an exhilirating display of slow paced, stiff, technical wrestling!

The FrenGerman Connection vs. Nicht Meir©: WBW Tag Team

Anarchy in Germany? For no other discernable reason than the sheer joy of it, Nicht Meir brutally assaulted The Borg Brothers at WBW Achtung. And, in a complete sign of disrespect, they've given the duo of The FrenGerman Connection a shot at their WBW Tag Team titles, refusing to face the Borgs on a fair playing field. Are the young champs really such a talented duo, or is The FrenGerman Connection going treat them like the punks they are?

Backbreaker Simpson vs. Jan Stuessen

Fresh after pushing Alexander Tomov to his limits, the super tough Backbreaker Simpson faces off with Germany's own Jan Stuessen. Word has it that Simpson has been heard saying he wishes to "break Germany's back and cripple it" in this one, and whether or not that's true Jan Stuessen is fired up to defend the honor of his fatherland. Either way, it's bound to be a battle of grit and determination!

Commandant Markus Maier vs. Alexander Tomov©: WBW Heavyweight title

The rematch the world has been waiting for! Just a few short months ago, Alexander Tomov defeated Commandant Markus Maier for the WBW Heavyweight title, overcoming all odds in the face of The Brotherhood's brutality. And now, the face off again. Ever since his defeat, Maier has kept Tomov in his sights, hounding the WBW champion at every turn. Alexander Tomov remains seemingly unmatchable and unstoppable in the ring, but Commandant Markus Maier's resolve is iron clad. Can Tomov once again best Markus Maier, or does the fascist sympathizer have an unbeatable, and diabolical, strategy up his sleeve ready that not even Tomov has an answer for?

Quick Picks:

Sabra Man vs. The Aryan Barbarian

Mike O’Reilly vs. Vincenzo Maenza

The FrenGerman Connection vs. Nicht Meir©: WBW Tag Team

As close to a squash as a non squash match can be.

Mike O’Reilly vs. Vincenzo Maenza

Tough call, backing the better wrestler (but since its you Comradebot im not sure if thats a good call).

The FrenGerman Connection vs. Nicht Meir©: WBW Tag Team

Two jobbers winning the belts, not happening.

Backbreaker Simpson vs. Jan Stuessen

Stuessen could be more valuable in the Tomov vs Maier storyline. (Although im rooting for Backbreaker, I just think Stuessen is the more likely winner.)

Wow, some political implications here!

Mike O’Reilly vs. Vincenzo Maenza

I vote that the Iron Curtain come in and demolish both men. Pure suckitude.

The FrenGerman Connection vs. Nicht Meir©: WBW Tag Team

Das Hasselhoffs need to make an appearance in the corner of their number one fans, Nicht Meir.

Backbreaker Simpson vs. Jan Stuessen

Jan needs to be built up as a strong challenger for the belt.

Commandant Markus Maier vs. Alexander Tomov©: WBW Heavyweight title

I also don't like short title reigns, but in this case I'd make an exception to get the belt to where it belongs. I think, though, that the Aryan Barbarian comes in to cause a DQ, leading to a rematch.

Sabra Man vs. The Aryan Barbarian

- Sabra Man sports a new red mask, perfect for hiding all the blood he'll be losing by the conclusion of this match.

Mike O’Reilly vs. Vincenzo Maenza

- I can't quite recall where these two are on the card, but since DeNucci should be the star of Italiano Coalition of Excellence (ICE ice baby!) The Irish Rogue needs to look dangerous.

The FrenGerman Connection vs. Nicht Meir©: WBW Tag Team

- Everyone loves seeing a Frenchman get flattened.

Backbreaker Simpson vs. Jan Stuessen

- A tough call to be sure, but I think with a face champ having a dangerous heel is more important than a more popular face. Plus, who doesn't want to break their boss's back?

Commandant Markus Maier vs. Alexander Tomov©: WBW Heavyweight title

- Ze Commandant lose? Yes, likely by DQ, Count Out or AB... AB? Aryan Barbarian invasion. Yes, he can be a One Man Invasion. BlitzRING~!

WBW Blitzkrieg! 1977

From West Berlin Hall in front of 300 people

Dark Show:

The Borg Brothers vs. The Iron Curtain

In a match that had an average crowd reaction but featured terrible wrestling, The Borg Brothers defeated The Iron Curtain in 5:50 when Magnus Borg defeated Fadzaev by pinfall with an Overhead Belly To Belly Suplex.

Alabaster Livingstone vs. Spiros the Mighty

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Spiros the Mighty defeated Alabaster Livingstone in 5:56 by submission with a Spiros Bear Hug.

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d12/JodoKastTRL/WBW/CommandantMarkusMeier.jpghttp://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d12/JodoKastTRL/WBW/TheAryanBarbarian.jpg

With Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries” roaring through WBW’s second-hand speaker system, both members of The Brotherhood goosestep their way down to the ring. The Aryan Barbarian does a “certain infamous group of fascists”-style salute towards Maier, the massive girth of his arm casting a dark shadow across the entirety of his partner.

The Aryan Barbarian: Heil Maier!

Commandant Markus Maier: Guten abend, Deutschland! Tonight, we shall all bear witness to the rise of a new order of supremacy in West Berlin Wrestling, which shall in itself be rise to greatness across the entire world! I, your beloved leader and mentor, face the filthy Slavic dog who insults us with his so called “title reign”. His defilement of this great land ends here, tonight! No more shall he taint our beloved title; no more shall he belittle the German people; no more shall he deny his rightful place as our genetic inferior, no more! NO MORE!!!

Emphasizing his point, Markus Maier pounds his fist on the top rope.

Commandant Markus Maier: Like a stubborn puppy, he must be beaten viciously and without remorse when he performs undesirable actions, so that he may learn proper discipline and behavior. You beat a puppy that defecates on your rug, and Alexander Tomov has defecated on the fine rug that is Deutschland!

The Aryan Barbarian: Heil beating puppies!

Commandant Markus Maier: No more shall the Slavic dog deny his inferiority to his Master!!! NO MORE!!!

The Aryan Barbarian: Heil the Master!

Sabra Man vs. The Aryan Barbarian

With Commandant Markus Maier barking orders to “make an example of the Hebrew”, The Aryan Barbarian took to bludgeoning the masked Sabra Man all over the ring. Sabra Man’s attempts to get in close and grapple proved mostly futile, as The Aryan Barbarian was simply too strong to be moved or manipulated by his opponent. One big Barbarian Boot later, and it was over.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, The Aryan Barbarian defeated Sabra Man in 6:10 by pinfall with a Barbarian Boot.

Mike O’Reilly vs. Vincenzo Maenza

A very old school style match, both men seemed set to test each other’s technical skill against one another. Maenza proved to be the better man today, managing to position himself behind Irish Mike and, after brief resistance, apply the Sleep With The Fishes, his patent modified sleeper hold. O’Reilly failed to escape, and Maenza walked out with the win.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Vincenzo Maenza defeated Mike O'Reilly in 6:11 by submission with a Sleep With The Fishes.

With a truly epic rendition of “O Fortuna” doing its damndest to blast through West Berlin Wrestling’s inferior PA system (though mostly only succeeding in creating some “epic” crackling), Spiros The Mighty, a walking action figure of a man, makes his way along the concrete floor and into the ring.

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d12/JodoKastTRL/WBW/SpirostheMighty.jpg

Spiros The Mighty: HARK and give heed, good people of Germania! I, Spiros The Mighty, champion of the GODS THEMSELVES, have returned from their glorious domain atop Mt. Olympus itself! With angelic words that would drive the lesser of mortals to a painful death or insanity, they have bestowed upon me, their champion in the realm of WBW, a most important of tasks! Somewhere in the domain of Germania itself rests the legendary Golden Fleece! I am honor-bound by my duty to the GODS THEMSELVES to undertake this perilous quest. Wish me well, good mortals, for my success shall benefit both mortal and god alike!

The FrenGerman Connection vs. Nicht Meir©: WBW Tag Team

Lamprecht “The Lunatic” Kunze spent nearly the entire match literally chewing on the ring post, while in the ring L’Homme Masque was giving Wolfgang Lorenz and Kaiser Grund turns beating him all around the ring. His repeated attempts to surrender were ignored by his assailants, and he wasn’t on his back for a three count until Wolfgang Lorenz annihilated him with a Rocket To Russia.

In an extremely poor match, Nicht Mehr defeated The FrenGerman Connection in 6:29 when Wolfgang Lorenz defeated Lamprecht Kunze by pinfall with a Rocket To Russia. Nicht Mehr make defence number 1 of their WBW Tag Team titles.

Nicht Meir proceed to “celebrate” their victory, bouncing all over the ring and doing their best to try and rip the ropes right off of it…

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d12/JodoKastTRL/WBW/DieterBorg.jpghttp://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d12/JodoKastTRL/WBW/MagnusBorg.jpg

...and they don’t see the Borg Brothers sprinting through the entranceway and into the ring until it’s too late! Lorenz and Grund are both sent crashing to the canvas, helpless against the vengeful wrath of Magnus and Dieter! With a super sloppy clothesline, “Big” Dieter topples Kaiser Grund over the top rope and out of the ring. Meanwhile, Magnus pulls a dazed Wolfgang Lorenz off the ground and shoves him into the waiting arms of his massive brother! With ease, Dieter Borg military presses Wolfgang Lorenz over his head… and tosses him over the ropes and right into Kaiser Grund! The Borg Brothers stand tall as they watch Nicht Meir limp away.

Backbreaker Simpson vs. Jan Stuessen

With those rowdy and despicable punks chased out of the arena, WBW’s audience was once again free to see some good old fashion European wrestling. A nice, slow built technical match-up is what these two men had in store, with Jan Stuessen finally resorting to his versatility and unloading with some more “impact” based moves in order to get the upper hand. Caught off guard by the change in style mid-match, Backbreaker Simpson couldn’t regain control of the match and was ultimately defeated thanks to a Munich Maul from Stuessen.

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Jan Stuessen defeated Backbreaker Simpson in 15:58 by pinfall with a Munich Maul.

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d12/JodoKastTRL/WBW/SpirostheMighty.jpg

With purpose in his stride, men glaring jealously at his pristine physique, and women glaring longingly at his pristine physique, Spiros The Mighty is seen making his way through the dimly lit backstage area of West Berlin Hall, the old wooden floors creaking under his substantial weight. His purpose filled stroll comes to a halt as he approaches two men sitting in at a table in the darkest corner in sight.

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d12/JodoKastTRL/WBW/Fadzaev.jpghttp://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d12/JodoKastTRL/WBW/ViktorYakimov.jpg

Spiros The Mighty: HARK and give heed, noble warriors of the frozen Eastlands! If I may inquire, have either of you witnessed the brilliant fleece of a golden ram, as radiant as Zeus’s might?

With cold eyes, Fadzaev the Crippler looks up from the table and at Spiros.

Fadzaev: Nyet.

Spiros The Mighty: Mortals, it is imperative that you aid me in locating the Golden Fleece before-

Fadzaev: Gold? Bah, gold is but symbol of capitalist greed and oppression. We have no use for gold. What you want with gold?

Spiros The Mighty: The Golden Fleece is a most ancient and powerful artifact from times when the gods walked these lands as our equals! I have been tasked by the GODS THEMSELVES to-

Fadzaev: Nyet! Gold is used to feed capitalism. Viktor, what you think about capitalism?

Viktor Yakimov: CRUSH CAPITALISM!!!

Spiros The Mighty: What treachery is this?!

Leaping out of his chair, Yakimov delivers a BRUTAL HEADBUTT right into Spiros’s chest, sending the Greek powerhouse crumpling to the ground! Both members of The Iron Curtain pounce, viciously stomping away at Spiros. The champion of the gods is left rolling on the ground in agony as Fadzaev and Yakimov calmly stroll away…

Commandant Markus Maier vs. Alexander Tomov©: WBW Heavyweight title

More super old school European technical action! Maier and Tomov immediately locked up, attempting to out technique one another. And so went the match, neither man holding the upper-hand for more than a minute before the other was able to counter and take control. As the battle raged on, Tomov finally managed to gain control thanks to his superior size and strength, simply out muscling Maier and slamming him down to the mat every chance he got. After using a Suplex to knock the wind out of Maier’s lungs, Tomov applied his excruciating Burgas Crab finishing maneuver, threatening to make “Ze Commandant” tap out!

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d12/JodoKastTRL/WBW/TheAryanBarbarian.jpg

But The Aryan Barbarian climbed into the ring, immediately delivering a big Barbarian Boot right into the side of Tomov’s head, freeing his partner and forcing the referee to call a disqualification in one fell swoop!

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Alexander Tomov defeated Commandant Markus Maier in 20:25 when Commandant Markus Maier was disqualified when The Aryan Barbarian ran in and attacked Alexander Tomov. Alexander Tomov makes defence number 2 of his WBW Heavyweight title.

C

The big boot to the side of his head left Alexander Tomov dazed and half-conscious at best… more than enough for time The Aryan Barbarian to help Commandant Markus Maier back to his feet. Helpless to defend himself, The Brotherhood descended upon Tomov, Maier barking orders to The Aryan Barbarian as the big man brutalized Tomov! And Irish Whip led to a second Barbarian Boot, followed by Maier kneeling over Tomov and unloading with a flurry of right hands. After a final kick to the ribs for good measure, The Brotherhood stood over the prone body of Alexander Tomov… performing a “certain infamous group of fascists”-style salute.

Sasha Pavlovic

Midcard (1977)

Sasha Pavlovic is a classically trained Olympic Freestyle wrestler from the Ukraine who originally trained in Europe. But his style led to a few exhibition tours in Japan and he loved the area so much that he began wrestling regularly and is now looking to break into the business full time for a Japanese promotion. However, his first break came with WBW, where his technical prowess and natural ability is seen as an invaluable asset to the young company.
