<strong>Director –</strong> Ang Lee ($100,000)</p><p>

<strong>Genre-</strong> Action</p><p>

<strong>Plot- </strong> Zookeeper Daniel Jones (Jason Statham, <em>The Transporter, Crank</em>) seems to his co-workers at the San Diego Zoo to be a quiet, easy going man, though a bit of a loner and anti-social. He mostly keeps to himself, but his talents with the animals and his apparent joy in teaching visitors to the San Diego Zoo about our planet’s co-inhabitants makes him an appreciated and respected member of the staff.</p><p> </p><p>

As the film starts, that is exactly where we are: Daniel is busy with a group of visitors, informing them of one of their newest additions to the “Freshwater Fish Of The World” exhibit, the New Zealand longfin eel, which he warns, “Don’t let their Subway sandwich-shaped bodies fool you: a hungry swarm of these little guys and you will be the meal,” followed by him poking a snarky chubby kid in the chest, “right down to the bones.” Meanwhile, as he continues with his tour, we pan over to Samantha Cooper (Mila Kunis, <em>Black Swan, That 70s Show</em>) admiring Daniel from afar, while conversing with some random female co-worker about him. Despite her co-worker’s warnings that “he’s weird”, Samantha decides to go talk to him anyways as his tour group disperses… unfortunately, just as she has a chance to say “hello”, both are interrupted by Zoo director Craig Ballard (Fred Willard, <em>This Is Spinal Tap, American Wedding</em>), who is in near hysterics: California Senator Henry Buck (Stanley B. Herman, <em>Requiem For A Dream, Black Swan</em>) has just arrived, and has demanded a private viewing of the Chinese pandas which only arrived this morning! (We then show a campaign ad for Mr. Buck, with his catchphrase of “If you don’t want California to suck, vote Henry Buck!”)</p><p> </p><p>

The zoo staff dutifully usher out most of the visitors as the Senator makes his way towards the panda enclosure… but something is clearly deadly wrong: the unremarkable female co-worker meets a silenced bullet between the eyes from an unseen zoo visitor. As the Senator continues his approach on the panda enclosure, various other gunmen spring out, either detaining visitors/employees or shooting those who resist or run. Just as Daniel and Samantha attempt to restart their conversation from earlier, they too are sprung upon by a pair of gunmen: after feigning surrender, Daniel spring into action, swiftly wrestling a gun away from one of the bad guys and shooting one, and then quickly dispatching the other in hand to hand combat. He “borrows” a radio from one of the fallen bad guys, and explains his past to a bewildered Samantha as they walk: before he became a zookeeper, he was in Special Forces, and now works amongst animals and nature in order to try and forget all the horrible acts he’s both scene, and participated in, during his time in the military. A loud burst of gunfire from the entrance designates a change of tactics from the invaders, as they abandon silenced weaponry to unload fully automatic weaponry towards the panda media circus outside. And the voice on the radio makes one thing very apparent:</p><p> </p><p>

The Chinese Triad, lead by the evil Kim Ming (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, <em>Mortal Kombat, Showdown in Little Tokyo</em>) have seized control of the zoo, and they have the Senator.</p><p> </p><p>

And only one man can stop them.</p><p> </p><p>

Soon, Ming becomes aware that Daniel Jones is the one person his men haven’t managed to either kill or detain, and that he’s responsible for slowly picking off his minions one at a time, while Samantha aids him from the recently re-secured security room. Jones comes across a pair of men with guns pointed at Mr. Ballard, and in awesomely brutal fashion, Daniel Jones saves his employer. The still hysterical, but grateful, Ballard is directed towards the security room where Samantha Cooper has taken refuge. Next, Daniel makes his way towards Ming and the Senator, dispatching of Ming’s final line of defense (much to the chagrin of Ming, who can’t believe Jones has managed to stay alive this long) in the Reptile House by smashing a guy’s head through the black mamba enclosure… the lethal snakes repeatedly bite the hapless henchman in the face, killing him in seconds.</p><p> </p><p>

Finally, Jones and Ming come face to face, Jones much worse for wear after having to kill countless henchmen and fight through the various injuries they’ve inflicted on him. Just as Jones goes to make his move to save the Senator (and the hostages that haven’t been executed to show the cops outside that the Triads are serious about their ransom demands), he here’s a click from behind him and a voice say in an almost too chipper tone, “Not so fast, sport.” He turns around to see Mr. Ballard with a gun aimed at Samantha’s head. Shocked by the betrayal, Jones is helpless but to sit back and listen to Ballard reveal the master plan before he and the Triads kill them all. “It was never about the Senator. The old geezer is already shaking hands with the reaper, why would anyone waste the money to actually keep him kicking another week? No, Jones, the pandas! The pandas, you big dummy!” Apparently, back in China the Triads managed to smuggles several million dollars worth of diamonds inside the pandas, undetected. As Kim Ming now informs them, the Senator was just a distraction to buy time for the helicopter to arrive so they smuggle the pandas out, cut them out, and become filthy rich.</p><p> </p><p>

Then, Ballard laughs about how “ridiculously rich they’ll all be,” to which Ming retorts, “We? You are not ‘we’,” and promptly shoots a shocked Mr. Ballard. But before Ming can finish off Daniel Jones, Jones whistles… there’s a low rumble and a confused look from the bad guys… and a stampeding rhinoceros plows through the Triads! Using the unorthodox distraction, Jones springs into action, killing all the remaining Triads in epic combat fashion (except Ming, who flees during the melee), while Samantha gets the hostages to safety.</p><p> </p><p>

Jones gives chase to Ming, catching up to him on the scaffolding above the New Zealand longfin eel tank. Furious, Ming screams at Jones, who offers him a chance to surrender and go peacefully… but Ming answers that “The only peace, will be that you find in the grave I send you to!” Some epic martial arts combat kicks in, with both of them teetering on the scaffolding high above the still waters below. Ming finally seems to get the upperhand, strangling Jones from behind with a chain. A sick grin of pleasure crosses the Triad boss’s face as he tells Jones, “He’s so very, very tired of do-gooder types ruining his business. So very, very tired.” Then, Jones replies, “Then sleep with the fishes,” and in one swift motion, Jones dislocates Ming’s knee and judo tosses him overhead down, off the scaffolding, bouncing off several other pieces of scaffolding on his way down, and finally tumbling bloody in the water. Ming is helpless as the New Zealand longfin eels descend upon him, their churning eely mass ripping him to shreds as Daniel Jones looks on in disgust.</p><p> </p><p>

Jones goes to talk to Samantha again, but again is interrupted, this time by the Senator… who quickly realizes he’s intruding and promises to give his gratitude in a few minutes. Finally, Samantha has a chance to ask him out, the go out for coffee, roll credits.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Ackles is a deputy who is in conflict with the Sunshine gang, lead by Tommy Lee Jones. Jones does a reasonable job as an outlaw leader, but you can't help but feeling as though his talents are somewhat underutilized in this film. Ackles, after seeing the Sheriff of the town and his wife (played by Erica Durance) shot by the outlaws, seeks out the help of Eastwood's character Walter McIntyre. McIntyre is a shell of his former outlaw self however, and it takes some convincing for him to assist Ackles. The film culminates in a good old fashioned shoot out, with Ackles and Eastwood on one side and Tommy Lee Jones and his gang on the other. </p><p> </p><p> Overall, this is a by-the-numbers Western. While that's not a bad thing, as it strongly appeals to its main audience, it does feel like there could have been just a bit more to this movie. Eastwood keeps the story simple, straightforward, and moving forward. while Ackles is given the main role in the movie, his performance is somewhat overshadowed by Eastwood, who (predictably) nails his character and, in particular, does a fantastic job of portraying a somewhat feeble outlaw. If you're a fan of Westerns, this movie definitely worth seeing (the duel between Eastwood and Jones, at the end, is worth the price of admission). But be warned, you should plan to show up early to this film, as the movie is bolstered by strong marketing and the appearance of both Eastwood and Jones. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> 3 out of 5</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Revenue:</strong> $9,234,760</p><p> </p><p> Clarity Productions now has $15,656,510.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Effects:</strong> </p><p> </p><p> Clint Eastwood will now take separate acting and directing jobs again.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> ------------------------------------------</p><p> </p><p> <strong>To be reviewed:</strong></p><p> The Nine - Revenant Productions</p><p> The Cold Hard Truth - Crychonite Productions</p><p> </p><p> I will eventually get to the last two from yesterday if no one else does, but not for a bit.</p>

Plot:</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

</p></div><p></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>The UNION is set in 1980’s Britain where they are riddled with unemployment, recession and race wars. But this is a story about one man and his family’s fight to survive following the closures of the coal mines. The story (whilst still has truth within it) fabricates a fictitious character named Dave Lavery <strong>(Stephen Graham </strong><em>(This Is England)</em><em><strong>)</strong></em> who was one of the first men to go on strike. </p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

</p></div><p></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>However through the course of the film we see how his wife <strong>(Emily Blunt </strong><em>(Gnomeo and Juliet))</em> and children endure severe poverty as he remains too proud to submit to the closures of the pits. </p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

</p></div><p></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>Lavery is one of the loyalists until young son (<strong>Daniel Roche</strong> (<em>Outnumbered</em>)<strong>)</strong> dies through trying to scramble for coal to keep the family home warm during the harsh winter. This is the turning point for Lavery who finally gives into the pressure of the government and its accelerated closures of the British Mining culture.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

</p></div><p></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>Throughout the film is shown the conflicts between the warring picket lines and the government’s army (police forces). But there is also the political battle between the head of the NUM (National Union of Mineworkers) Arthur Scargill <strong>(Christopher Lee)</strong> and the head of the British Coal Board; Ian Macgregor <strong>(Ian McKellen).</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

</p></div><p></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>UNION aims to be a harsh and gritty depiction of the sacrifices one man can make before finally giving in for the good of his family.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Genre- Superhero

Plot-

Tyson (Jaden Smith) and Ellie (Chloe Moretz) are franticly running from something. We see them constantly looking over their shoulders as they run but we never get a look at just what they are running from. They round a corner of houses and quickly duck into a nearby backyard. After a few moments Tyson unlatches the gate and steps out to take a look around. Before he can take a second step a hand clamps down on his shoulder and the camera finally turns to see the kid’s pursuers. It’s a truant officer; Tyson and Ellie are headed for the principal’s office where Principal Jansen (Laura Linney) gives them after school work detail, cleaning up the schools soccer and baseball fields as well as the nearby wooded area.

It is in work detail we meet 7 other students who’ve gotten themselves assigned to work detail through one means or another. Michael (Logan Lerman) is a junior who played a prank on his science teacher, Austin (Callan McAuliffe), also a junior, is the schools resident loner who seems to have a year long pass to work detail, and Isaac (Booboo Stewart), a senior, was caught downloading music in the schools library.

Luke (Josh Hutchinson), the school jock, cheerleaders Paige (AnnaSophia Robb) and Shannon (Keke Palmer), and mousy Cary Anne (Medeline Carroll) were all there for the same incident. Specifically, Luke, Paige, and Shannon bullying and ridiculing Carry Anne until she slapped Shannon and started a cat fight during lunch.

While the kids are lazily cleaning up and spending more time talking and making fun of each other, Cary Anne notices something in the sky. It looks like a bright red star, but it keeps getting bigger and bigger. Dumbstruck the kids head for cover at the last minute. The impact is tremendous and the area surrounding the impact point, including the kids, is bathed in a white hot light. A detention monitor hurriedly runs out to check on the kids to find them all laying on the ground unconscious. Later that night, Ellie awakens at a hospital and it’s a miracle. All 9 kids have survived without even minor injuries.

Rounding out the first half of the film the kids discover their powers and form a loose group as they lean on each other for support while they test their limits and capabilities with their newly found gifts. Tyson can control fire, Ellie can fly, Michael is indestructible, and Isaac can render himself invisible. Austin can break the sound barrier he runs so fast. Luke has super strength and Cary Anne can move objects with her mind. Paige can feel and control the emotions of others while Shannon can heal the wounds of other people. The kids keep these gifts a secret until one day there is a large earthquake during lunch. The cafeteria is full of students as the building is rocked to its core. No time to think the kids burst into action Ellie and Austin get kids out of the building as fast as they can, while Cary Anne stops debris from falling on helpless students. In the aftermath Luke rescues students trapped in debris while Paige and Shannon soothe and heal the wounded.

Just like that The Nine are ousted and with that comes the attention of the US Government. As the kids parents, town officials, and Principal Jansen try to get a handle on the situation in come Agent Peters (Zeljko Ivanek) and Agent Daniels (Dean Winters). They’ve put a lockdown on the town and take the kids into custody until they can find out what they are dealing with.

The second half of the film deals with the kids relationships with each other as they cope with their detainment. Luke has emerged as a leader for the group but Cary Anne is still resentful of Luke, Paige, and Shannon and as a result takes on an outsider role. In converse Austin becomes closer to the group. Ellie and Michael’s relationship flourishes as Michael takes on a protective role over her. Seeing this development Tyson withdrawals into himself as he sees his friend drifting away from him and can’t fight his jealousy of Michael.

Agent Peters views the kids as a danger to the US, his only interest is in controlling and testing their abilities and limitations. The kids are pushed beyond their limits and poked and prodded constantly for testing purposes. Principal Jansen and Agent Daniels take protective roles over the kids but Peters influence reaches too far as he’s seeding the idea that the kids are too dangerous to ever be allowed to leave by their own free will. Things come to a head as under Luke’s leadership the kids devise an escape plan. The night comes and the plan is going well, they have made it out of the building and plan to escape into the nearby woods. As they approach the woods, the trees begin to sway their branches violently waving this way and that; suddenly branches, trees, and all manner of debris are built up blocking their way. From behind them bright lights silhouette them against the wall of debris. Agent Peters and a team of soldiers have them surrounded. Before anyone realizes what happened Cary Anne runs to Agent Peters and tells him Luke was behind the whole ordeal.

A standoff occurs, tempers flare before anyone realizes it, shots are fired and all hell breaks loose. During the fight Luke runs at Agent Peters whose back is turned. Luke leaps intending to strike the Agent with a killing blow, but in mid-air he’s stopped, held there by Cary Anne. Agent Peters turns and puts the gun to Luke’s head. Peters has a look in his eye, he intends to end the threat the kids pose right here. He pulls the trigger……but the shot misses, as Ellie flies in knocking Cary Anne and herself to the ground and in doing so releasing Carey Anne’s hold on Luke, who falls to the ground himself as the bullet grazes him. Enraged Agent Peters points the gun at Ellie. But before he can pull the trigger he is engulfed in flame as Tyson comes to his friend’s aid. He turns to help Ellie up when a bullet rips through his right shoulder. He’s down and Ellie looks at the scene around her, her friends and the soldiers are tearing into each other now. Not knowing what to do she she begins to hover 10 feet off the ground, there is something driving her, now in the middle of the battlefield all eyes are turning toward her. She screams “Stop” with a force none had ever seen and in an instant a wave of magnetic energy emanates from her core and mows through everyone in the area. Soldiers and her friends all fall to the ground unconscious, as well as Ellie who crashes back down to earth.

Ellie awakes in a hospital again, this one is different then the local hospital from before though. This is most obviously a government facility. She panics at first but when she sits up in bed she finds her parents as well as Principal Jansen sitting in the room. She learns that after the battle she went into a coma and has been out for 2 months. The facility she learns is to be run by both Agent Daniels and Principal Jansen to help the kids learn how to control their abilities. Later she meets with Michael, Luke, Paige, Shannon, and Austin who are also in the facility. They tell her that Isaac decided he wasn’t coming back to another facility and simply disappeared; it took the facility all day to realize he was actually missing and not just invisible. They also tell her that Mary Anne and Tyson were both taken somewhere else but weren’t being told where or what will become of them.

The movie ends as the 6 enter a classroom and take their seat as Principal Jansen begins the days lesson.

Studio Notes -

*Revenant Productions had hoped to sign Emma Roberts for the role of Paige but she chose to feature in another superhero film, The Blue Flame

Sorry, for the long Plot write-up :o

Revenant Productions decided to take a stab at a virtually untapped genre this week. The Nine features solid acting from Jayden Smith, no doubt following in his father’s footsteps, is a X-Men style Superhero movie that looks at 9 high school students who are hit by what seems like a meteoroid only to wake up with super powers. Throughout the first part of the movie thy try in large part to keep these powers a secret and we are met with some pretty amusing scenes of the kids freaking out in class as they are unable to control their powers, but they always manage to just before someone else sees them. This all goes out the window when the school gets hit by an earthquake and the students rush into action. The relationship of Cary Anne with the rest of her peers is one that is extremely important. Her character is played by Madeline Carroll who really plays it to perfection. In fact, of the 9 super heroes the only lack luster performance came from Josh Hutcherson who was easily over shadowed by the other characters. The direction of Neill Blomkamp was brilliant, his work with super hero movies in the past really helped give this movie the extra edge.

Overall, this was an excellent movie with few flaws, especially for a small production company. The ending was setup perfectly for a sequel; I only hope they wait until their budget is a little bigger next time before trying to pull it off. It’s also worth noting that the lack of Promotion really took away from the draw this movie was capable of.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Revenue: 4,750,000

The Effect:

Super Hero movies are red hot right now, but the production needs to be huge to reap the true rewards.

There are rumors that the performance of Jaden Smith may see him win an Oscar this week

All actors and directors have agreed to make the sequel to The 9 as long as Revenant Productions gives them a 24 hour notice.

Jaden Smith now wants 65,000 per movie

Chloe Moretz now wants 40,000 per movie

Medeline Carroll now wants 45,000 per movie

Neill Blmkamp now wants 175,000 per movie

Revenant Productions now has 8,575,000

Soooo... I'm looking for some casting advice cos I'm drawing a blank here. I'm writing a horror type film just now that I think has the potential to be awesome if I can find the right people for it. Sadly, I suck at such things so need some help. :)

I'm looking for a male lead, can play someone aged about 40 who could play a fairly grim detective type and who might actually have enough star power to be able to carry my film.

Failing that, a price-tag for Philip Glenister (of UK TV show Life On Mars ; Ashes To Ashes) might work, since I know he can cover a lot of what I'm looking for. A price on Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond from Lost) would also be helpful. :)

Bale could probably do the role well. Maybe even Depp. He lacks the star power but Jackie Earle Haley could work too.

What about Benecio Del Toro, he can do grim; Daniel Day Lewis (he can do just about anything you ask him to), Viggo Mortensen, Javier Bardem wouldn't be a bad choice either.

Thanks for the help guys... I'm thinking this might not only be an Oscar winner but it might also be a franchise. And the kind of franchise that makes fans of Saw feel ashamed for liking it at all given how awesome this could be. :)

Thinking it will be an easy job, due to his long time friendship with the police chief, Peter Walters (Harrison Ford), and because he thinks it’ll be a good story, he takes the job without hesitation. He gets to know a lot of members of the force, becomes friends with most of them, and is in the process of writing a damn fine story. He even musters up the courage to ask out the pretty secretary for the precinct, Andrea Danes (Stana Katic).</p><p> One night after a heavy day of writing, he leaves for home without his notebook. He heads back a bit later at night to retrieve it. He grabs the notebook, returns to his vehicle, and starts looking over his notes. After a few seconds of reading the notes, he sees two officers Andrew McKenzie (Donal Logue) and Greg Barnes (Gary Oldman) struggling to bring a witness in a case against one of their own, Jimmy Vaughan (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), who was in protective custody into a van.</p><p> </p><p> Thinking he wasn’t seen, Kelly follows the vehicle to an abandoned warehouse, and witnesses the officers murder Vaughan. Kelly flees the scene and believes he made it out unseen.</p><p> </p><p> The next day he returns to the precinct, and everything seems normal, he interacts with the officers, and nothing seems out of the ordinary with them, so he continues everything as normal and pretends like nothing’s wrong. He starts keeping tabs on a few of the officers and finds out that those two weren’t the only ones who were up to shady and unlawful activities. Unsure of who to turn to, he turns to chief Walters. The chief had long suspected that many of his cops were dirty, but didn’t trust anyone enough to look into it for him. He tells him to keep on checking into it, and let him know of any concrete proof. As he leaves, officers McKenzie and Barnes see him walking out, and make note of it.</p><p> Eventually, while looking into the same officers, they notice that he’s following them, and warn him to back off and stay away from the precinct. He leaves, but continues to show up at the precinct as if nothing happened. In the days that follow, his house is broken into, he’s attacked by masked assailants and left beaten within an inch of his life.</p><p> </p><p> The chief visits him in the hospital, and lets him know that things haven’t gone unnoticed, and that he will not stand for what happened to him. Kelly is released from the hospital, takes a few days to recover, and once again starts to go to the precinct. He stays a bit late one day, and stays for a conversation with the chief. When they leave the room, they’re both greeted with gunfire. The chief hands Kelly a gun, and they fend off most of the attackers. When they think the attack is over, McKenzie shoots the chief in the leg, and Kelly in the stomach. McKenzie and Barnes disarm them, and close in for the kill, and confess that killing the chief isn’t going to be easy for them. They state that killing Kelly, on the other hand, is going to be much easier, and that he should’ve kept his nose out of their business. </p><p> </p><p> McKenzie c0cks his gun and points it at Kelly when he gets shot in the head. The shooter is revealed as Danes who was staying late to finish up some paperwork, she found one of the guns that was thrown to the side, and took matters into her own hands. She shoots Barnes in the leg, and relieves him of his weapon.</p><p> </p><p> Kelly, Danes and the chief are all awarded commendations. The chief retires shortly after, and stays in touch with both of them.</p><p> Kelly and Danes go on to get married. The Cold Hard Truth follows Edward Kelly, played by Timothy Olyphant a reporter doing a piece on a local police force. What comes next is really pure magic. Kelly witnesses some, let’s say less than honorable members of the force do some less than honorable things and he tells his good buddy the chief all about it. He continues to follow these unsavory characters and as a result gets hospitalized for sticking his noes where it didn’t belong. Undeterred he continues coming back to the precinct and ends up getting in a shoot out to end the movie. </p><p> </p><p> Overall, I give this film a solid ‘B’. It has most of everything you look for in a film, action, character development, even some cheesy romance for your date. The performance of Olyphant is great, although not his best work, and Stana Katic played her roll extremely well. Perhaps the surprise of the film was the lack luster performance of Harrison Ford. While not awful Ford started really showing his age in this film and it didn’t go unnoticed. His next role should probably involve less of a starring role.</p><p> </p><p> Rating 4 out of 5 stars</p><p> Revenue: 3,250,000</p><p> </p><p> The Effects:</p><p> Timothy Olyphant now wants 50,000 per movie</p><p> Stana Katic now wants 40,000 per movie</p><p> Harrison Ford now wants 60,000 per movie</p><p> </p><p> Crychonite Studios now has 3,427,000</p>

The film shows Sids life now from him collecting a Giro for injuries stopping him working (damaged ears from his Punk days), he spends time in his local record shop where he finds out it is shutting down since noone is interested in records anymore and him going into local Punk Bar where hes a good 25+ years older than the rest of the clientele.</p><p> </p><p> The next morning Sid is woken by his stereo and former Screaming Flem manager is talking about releasing the Bands previously unreleased second album in New York City at a local record shop he owns there and of course Sid decides he must not only be there but he must get the band back together.</p><p> </p><p> Bazza the Basher is now a Lawyer bored with his life who according to his wife has bailed Sid out way too many times. Bazza eventually decideds to come with Sid and put Screaming Flem back together. Simon Spit (unlike Bazza) has not spoken to Sid for many years and he is now a small time actor and he and Sid get into an argument and fight that destroys the set he was working on and gets Snoty fired and so he is in. Finally at a nursing home an uncomfortable Sid (who tries to get out of seeing Eddies mum) comes face to face with 'Level' Eddies mother who informs the guys that Eddie is not in London he moved to New York (before reminiscing with an embarressed Sid about the times they had sex) ... The guys leave in an hurrey before Eddies mother could tell them that Eddie died 2 years ago.</p><p> </p><p> In New York they try unsuccesfully to contact their former manager on a few occasions Sid befriends misfit Lisa (Dakota Fanning) at a Punk Bar while they are trying to find Level Eddie, Sid and his friends end up getting into a fight with a few guys causing trouble for Lisa and then end up kidnapping her ex-boyfriend who cheated on her to scare him. Sid confides in Lisa that he would like to play with his band 1 last time (admitting its the only good thing hes ever done in his life) she mentions that her dad was in a band he died a couple of years ago though and shes been playing his Guitar ever since ...</p><p> </p><p> .. Yep shes the daughter of 'Level' Eddie. The band end up not only turning up at the record shop but they play with the movie ending with Sid Spit stage diving into the crowd and cue end credits.</p><p> </p><p> A few notes;</p><p> </p><p> Sid Snot and Simon Spit argue about everything leaving Bazza to have to step in.</p><p> Bazza is going through a sort of Mid Life crisis and keeps on taking drugs to amusing effect.</p><p> Sid dresses 'Punked up' like hes still a Teenager - Bondage Trousers, Staples in his Ears, Slashed Tshirts Doc Martins boots.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Location</strong>- London/New York.</p><p> <strong>Budget</strong>- Actors/Actresses - $160,000 + production - $340,000 marketing - $400,000. Total: $900,000 + Cost of Figgis.</p><p> <strong>Duration</strong> - 1 hr 49.</p></div></blockquote>
