While reading the whole thread in order to see what this game's about I got the idea of making a spreadsheet that shows every movie ever made, sorted by production studios. It also shows a history of their bank balance. Here it is:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjQ2KzBpsu80dDlmSW5qeXNvUURxTWtveFlNVTRXclE&hl=nl&authkey=CMmwxbMJ

The mods should pm me their google email adress so I can give them admin rights.

That's amazing

Great work, and will send you a pm.

Plot

Jill Jones (Emma Roberts) is still trying to get over her kidnapping ordeal {As seen in The Night Fox} and she contemplates shutting down her website when she sees a post that grabs her eye. Without6 thinking she grabs her coat and is off once again chasing heroes. We see the post as she runs out of the room…“Jake Blane Senior = The Unknown Soldier?”

At the house of Jake Blane Sr. (Ed Asner) we see him cleaning some old war medals amongst pictures of Jake Blane {Josh Brolin from Blue Flame}. We then see Jill outside knocking and Jake answers the door. Jill tells Jake she is doing a report on the Cold War for the newspaper and would like to talk to a retired war vet. Jake says he has nothing interesting to say when Jill replies, “I think the reads would find the Unknown Soldier very interesting” Jake lets out a sigh and reluctantly lets Jill in. Jake then begins to tell Jill about the Unknown Soldier…

~Ed Asner Narrates the flashback scenes~

“In 1961 America and Russia were involved in an agreement to hate one another to the core. As such, when Cuba asks Russia for nuclear weapons, Russia was all too happy to oblige, much to the chagrin of the U.S. At that time I was a ****y little snot (Danny DeVito) that just got himself sentenced to five weeks of cleaning duty in the science facilities of Fort Jackson. Noone seemed to notice, not even I, but only 1 scientist worked in the lab, Dr. Joseph Mendal (Bret Spiner). Needless to say, me and the doc became friends and I requested to be transferred to lab duty permanently. My request was accepted and soon the doc was having me assist in his work…”

“After several weeks of testing on lab animals, Dr. Mendal had me round up a group of volunteers to become what he called “Uber Mesch!” I rounded up some buddies of mine, as well as Captain Harry Sims (Bruce Campbell) and Private Daniel Jacobs (Clive Owen). All fourteen men were given a special treatment by the doc, which increased their strength, speed, reflexes, and durability…and aggression. As you may have guessed, a fight broke out, and the lab was destroyed in the melee after several test tubes fell over and exploded. The doc was killed, and I was saved only by the fact one of the men jumped on top of me and shielded me from the blast. All fourteen men and I were taken to the army hospital, were Nurse Virginia Warren (Christina Hendricks) helped them to recover and me to regain my composure from the shock. As the only surviving member of the scientific team, I was named “handler” for the fourteen men. I was then told One of these men was needed for a top secret mission…”

We then see a shot of the men lying in bed, with their faces bandaged up…and told they were all burned in the fire after the explosion. Not knowing who was who, they were all given numbers, and Jake was told Number 11 was the one who was found on top of him. Realizing that he owed 11 his life, and that only 11 was able to show compassion, he recommends 11 to head up the operation. We see the other 13 men get escorted off by armed guards, as 11 and Jake walk into a briefing room.

In Russia we see the Russian Leader meeting with a Professor M. James (Ian McKellin). Prof. James informs the Russian Leader that he has a way to bypass the U.S. blockade and deliver all the missiles to Cuba. The Russian Leader demands Prof. James give him the secret or else he will die to which Prof. James replies…”You can’t kill what is already dead!” The guards open fire upon Prof. James and the bullets go right through him and kill the guards. Prof. James says his price just doubled, and the Russian Leader agrees to the terms.

In the U.S. we see Jake and 11 being told about Prof. James, a retired English Scientist who claimed to discover a way to travel between time and space, thus giving him an intangibility effect. We then learn that he plans to help Russia put missiles in Cuba then use them to start a war which only he and his men would survive, due to his time/space travel. 11 is then given his army costume and code named The Unknown Soldier.

Jake, The Unknown Soldier, and Nurse Warren, whom the army sent along to tend to any wounds as she was the only medical staff who knew about the Uber Mesch, get aboard a Navy Submarine and sail to Cuban Waters. Aboard the Sub we see the three become closer and Nurse Warren and Jake began to flirt with one another as The Unkown Soldier struggles to control his aggression and try to remember his past. Nurse Warren assures him it is just shock from the explosion but he doesn’t seem to buy that excuse.

In Cuba we see that Prof. James has the island filled with his soldiers, Russian Tanks, and missile silos being readied. A mile from the coast The Unknown Soldier is shot out of the torpedo hatch and lands on Cuba. The Unknown Soldier then cuts a swath of destruction through Cuba as he heads for Prof. James stronghold. The Unknown Soldier makes it to the stronghold and defeats all the guards to which Prof. James tells him it was all in vain since James can’t be touched. The Unknown Soldier then tells him at least he can stop his plot, and he causes the missiles to explode destroying the compound and half the island. Prof. James flees through Space and Time to his secret base where 13 men are waiting for him…then we hear is Captain Sims say “What took you so long sweetheart?”

Back in the present Jake Sr. explains how after that he left the army, married Nurse Warren and had a family. Jill asks what happened to the Unknown Soldier to which he replies, “Nobody Knows.” We then cut to an outside shot as a man, whose face we can’t see, leaves a note in the mailbox and walks off unnoticed…

~Post Credits~ We see a group of soldiers storm a compound of Muslim style terrorist. And when they reach the leader, he is shot in the head from behind. The leader of the soldiers removes his helmet and says “What took you so long sweetheart?” The leader then falls and we see the Unknown Soldier was the one who shot him…the shot then goes to a news reel of the death of Osama Bin Laden and we see a Blue Flame streak by the sky as the reporter is telling us that Osama is in fact dead…

Title- The Plan

Lead Actor- Eric Bana ($50,000)

Lead Actress- Amy Adams ($75,000)

Supporting Actor- Morgan Freeman ($75,000)

Supporting Actor- Haley Joel Osment ($25,000)

Director – Darren Aronofsky ($125,000)

Genre- Drama

Plot- What would you do if you knew when you were going to die?

Tyler Ryland (Eric Bana) had hit an all time low. Stuck in a dead end job, a wife that had just left him and spending most nights staring at the bottom of the bottle, Tyler attempts to end his own life with a combination of sleeping pills and alcohol. In the veil between life and death, Tyler meets God (Morgan Freeman) who tells Tyler that it is not his time just yet, and that they will meet again in 6 months time. God explains to Tyler the certain signs will appear to Tyler to show him his path. A Pegasus, a Dragon and an Angel

Tyler awakes in a hospital under the care of Dalia (Amy Adams), an overworked nurse and single mother who cares for him until he is released. They bump into each other a week later in the street where Tyler notices her necklace of a Pegasus sign freaking him out. Tyler had thought that the vision had just been a drug induced hallucination and flees the scene.

Dalia manages to track Tyler down and they begin an awkward friendship. Dalia introduces Tyler to her son Desmond (Haley Joel Osment), a socially inept teenager who is being pressured into crime by some friends of his. Tyler notices the dragon motif on Desmond's top; the second sign. Tyler freaks in front of Desmond sending the young boy back to his gang friends upset and looking for acceptance. He agrees to help in the burglary they have planned.

Dalia finds Tyler and lays into him for what he did to Desmond. Tyler tries to explain to Dalia about his vision, but comes off sounding crazy. Dalia slaps him and tells him never to go near her angel again.

Tyler realises that no matter how he had tried to avoid his vision, it was coming true anyway. Desmond was the angel, the last sign. He pounds the streets looking for the boy and finally catches up with the gang moments before they start the burglary.

He realises that it was 6 months to the day from his hallucination, and that today was the day he was going to die. Using a payphone he calls Dalia asking for one last favour. Finally he heads over to Desmond and gets surrounded by the gang. Tyler tells Desmond that there is always a better way and that no matter what life may throw at you, there is always an out. The gang leader is getting antsy and pulls a gun on Tyler. A wave of calm comes across Tyler and he just closes his eyes.

A siren sounds nearby and the gang leader panics causing the gun to go off. Tyler falls to his knees clutching his chest as all but Desmond run off. Desmond holds Tyler promising that he will change his ways and is with him until the ambulance arrives. Tyler is rushed to hospital and is met to Dalia who tells Tyler that his wife is here. Tyler looks over, sees his wife and smiles before flatlining.

The film ends in slow motion as the crash team head to revive Tyler and Dalia cradling an obviously distraught Desmond. Everything fades to white and the credits roll.

Poisonedsuperman Studios presents

Moving

Comedy (trying to go for waiting mixed with the office type feel)]

Director: Michel Gondry (The Green Hornet)

Staring: Zac Effron, Jason Schwartzman (Bored to death), Guillermo Diaz (Half baked), Bob Saget, John Goodman, Tom Guiry (The Sandlot, Blackhawk down), Erik King (The Poisoning, Dexter, OZ), Ron Lester (Varisty Blues, Goodburger),

Plot: The movie starts at a high school graduation where Stevie Jillson (Zac Effron) is shown graduating and later having a party in a huge backyard behind a mansion. The uncontrolled party is only shown for a few minutes before cutting into the next morning where Stevies parents tell the newly minted adult that he must find a summer job. Stevie is shown filling out applications on the internet when he gets a phone call from Ronald (John Goodman)

Ronald is the owner of the local Allied moving agent in the small town that Stevie lives in and wants to hire him for the summer rush. Stevie accepts the job but immediately has second thoughts when his mother drops him off in the parking lot at his first employer. The dispatch office sits in the middle of the city, with a chain link fence and barb wire all around it. There are guys sitting in their cars drinking beers, smoking mariuana and blasting their hardcore rap music (at 7 in the morning).

Apon entering the business Stevie is met by Thomas (Bob Saget), the hyper active, former mover turned dispatcher and salesman who purposely underbooks jobs to make more money for himself. Thomas has a bad mouth and every other word out of it is a swear word, something that makes Stevie very uncomfortable. From there the movie takes us from the opening morning ceremonies where Ronald gives the buys a pep talk, to the 9 o clock at night end time when the guys finish loading the truck for a very famous pop star who is never announced (but they make it seem like Justin Beiber). What happens in one day could be enough to make Stevie never wanna work again.

  • Somethings that happen on this day:

  • On the ride to the job, all the guys sitting in the back of the tractor trailer exchange war stories with Stevie about guys getting fired in the past, to the driver wetting the bed, to the load of the truck being so old that he came with the building.

  • Jefferson (Erik King) trying to start a fight with not only Stevie but anyone who he feels looks at him the wrong way (everyone), including Ronald and Thomas.

  • Raul (Guillermo Diaz) the driver of the tractor trailer who hits a row of mirrors as he parks his big rig in front of a store, before the job even starts.

  • Tom (Tom Guiry) a man who has been working on the job for 4 years but can't do ANYTHING. Every time he touches a piece of furniture he shakes uncontrolablly and nobody wants to carry with him.

  • Jefferson buying a case of beer and finishing it off before lunch time with no ill effects shown! Loading the truck like a master when he's not trying to pick a fight.

  • Moshawn Bigger (Jason Schwartzman) as a pot head who can't seem to remember if he's at work or at home at times, relaxing on the couch, watching television and even falling asleep on the master bed. Moshawn also wears headphones throughout the movie and can be heard rapping TuPac songs wrongly for the duration of the film.

  • Tom challenging Jefferson to a drinking contest at lunch and getting buzzed after "just" three beers and then dropping a dresser on Moshawn as they carry it down the stairs.

  • Steven (Ron Lester) not being able to fit out of the house unless he walks sideways, causing him to be pretty useless.

  • Raul wants Stevie to learn how to inventory a household (so that he doesn't have to), as Mo' Biggz wants to smoke with the very interested but able to resist Stevie. Jefferson asking Stevie if he wants to drink, in which Stevie says he's too young, Jefferson claims to been drinking since before he was born. When Stevie looks away he is challanged to a fight! Tom trying to convince Stevie to carry something, anything with him even after all the stories, all the while Steven is just looking to make a friend, with the guy with the same name.

At the end of the movie, the crew drives off and the trailer falls off of the tractor, the movie ends as the tractor contiues to roll down the street, oblivious as to what happened.

  • All this and much, much, more!

The army officials (Martin Sheen The Departed & Tommy Lee Jones US Marshalls)(recurring characters throughout the film until there untimely deaths during a battle towards the end) who rope him into the situation do so by reminding Burton of a “free pass” the gave him in the past and how he had to honour that or be taken in to custody.

Sheen & Lee Jones also partake in these events) of an old, once retired and bitter soldier named; Wade Hackett (Clint Eastwood Unforgiven), he makes the decision to jump ship to the Mexican side of the border.

As he is seen as a traitor to the American army; Burton becomes the main focus of the American attacks. But as the fighting moves on and the opposing forces march closer (and Sheen and Lee Jones become victims in the war), Burton is left leading the Mexican Army following the death of its commander.

It's just one film per day, it doesn't matter whether its been reviewed yet. (Mainly because in events like Yesterday when few (0) reviews get done it could cause problems.)

Mad Productions has recently released it's newest film "Through The Looking Glass". Despite the companies biggest success coming from the comedy genre, they have decided to attempt a horror movie. The result is a success, but not as big a hit as the company may have wished. The film stars Zac Efron, Tommy Lee Jones & The Olsen Twins (we are told Ashley Olsen was the main character, but how would we know). The film centres around Sara (Ashley Olsen), a recently relocated student who seems to be at the centre of several murder cases. Tommy Lee Jones stars as an FBI agent investigating the cases, and Zac Efron as James, Sara's love interest.

The film builds up to a final scene, where it is revealed that it is Sara's mirror image (played by Mary Kate Olsen) is the one carrying out the killings, and can even come out of the mirror! While the plot is interesting, and definately not overused, the fact is it feels very similar to "Mirrors" (and its Direct-to-DVD sequel Mirrors 2). I will say that this film was scripted better than Mirrors, and had more suspense (even though it was predictable that it would be Sara would be responsible), but I still couldn't help but draw the comparison.

One question that was raised was how did a murder take place while Sara was in custody, since it takes a mirror to "summon" the evil Sara. Overall a decent effort from Mad Studio's, but I personally don't see the demand for a sequel, which was teased at the end of the movie.

Actors

-The Olsen Sisters performed well for the majority of the film, but showed some slight flaws during the final scenes, where they had to portray the bad guys (or girls in this case).

-Zac Efron performed solidly in his role, but seems to be showing a slight unhappiness performing in horror/thriller type films.

-Tommy Lee Jones played his role brilliantly, but seemed out of place among his younger co-stars.

Rating: 2.5 Stars

Revenue: $8 Million

Mad Productions now has $12,465,000

Effects:

Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen now want $35'000 per film.

Zac Efron wants his next role to be in a film that is not a Horror/Thriller (Not counting films already posted).

Just so people know my laptop is having issues at the minute, so reviews from me might be slightly down. I will still be around from my Ipad, so I can still answer questions and sort out actor requests, but I can only review when I can get on someone elses computer (I'm not going to type up reviews on a touch screen).

I will get one more movie reviewed today, meaning these ones still need to be reviewed.

The Plan - Clarity

Moving - PoisonedSuperman

Rio Grande - steesh07

Unknown Soldier toys were also made into full fledge action figures by Mattel

Marvle Comics wrote a 1 issue Unknown Soldier limited Series movie tie in.

We had several Making OF: Unknown Soldier documentaries on Syfy and HBO.

We also had an Unknown Soldier contest on Memorial Day

The Unknown Soldier is the latest in the recent line of Superhero movies from Jaguar's Den Studios. The film centres around a newly introduced hero "The Unknown Soldier". The story is that 14 men were given a special treatment to turn them into seemingly "super soldiers". However the groups agression also increased, leading to a fight, which lead to an explosion that injured all the soldiers, one of them protected Jake, who we later identify as Number 11 (a code number was given to each soldier).

Jake was tasked with picking one of the soldiers to help on a mission to stop missiles from being based on Cuba (a nice reference to historical events). Number 11 was picked, since he was the only one able to control his aggression (apart from Jake, who also seemed calm). The rest of the film concentrates on Jake, The Unknown Soldier (a code name given to #11) & a Nurse (Christina Hendricks) bonding on a mission to get to Cuba and stop the evil Professor James, who is a super-powered villain working with the Russians.

Eventually The Unknown Soldier is able to stop Professor James, by blowing up a large amount of Cuba, since he couldn't hurt the Professor due to his abilities (seemingly teleportation). The Professor was able to escape the island, and ended up in a room with 13 men (this reviewer believes these are the other soldiers who were not chosen for the mission). We then see the Unknown Soldier who also apparantly survived (despite no-one knowing) delivering a letter to Jake as the movie ends, indicating that the Unknown Soldier will be making a return in the future.

The film also gained viral attention due to the post credits scene, where the Unknown Soldier kills Osama Bin Laden. The video quickly went viral and currently has over 8 Million hits on Youtube alone. Although the majority of these people didn't see the actual film (or not in a legal way).

The main hiccup in this film is the casting of Danny DeVito as the young Jake. DeVito only being 15 years younger than Asner, when the character is 50 years younger (we assume it is set in the present day, and since the internet is a key plot point it cannot be far from the current date). Fans were also dissapointed to see Emma Roberts return to a lesser role in the films, although we assume (perhaps wrongly) she is not going to be as prominent a character in the future as the actual heroes.

Overall a solid attempt by Jaguar Den Studios, in my opinion not as good as Night Fox, but due to the increased production values and the viral nature of the ending made slightly more at the box office.

Ha, I am just a bit pedantic. Maybe their could be another killer on the loose .

And no worries about the reviewing. Real life comes first (although reviewing is more fun than painting :p).
