THE STRONGMAN vs Dwaine Kai (Extra point for a correct guess)

Strongman needs a win.

EVISCERATOR vs RUDY SINGLE

Pretty easy win for Rudy.

THE WOODCUTTERS vs THE FLYING BULLETS

Champions retain.

THE MOONSHINERS vs THE DEVASTATORS

Could be wrong, but with heel champions it makes sense to have the faces win.

JACK BODYDROP vs KAY PASA

I think Jack Bodydrop needs the win a littl more.

TERRY RAPADA vs ALI ABABWA

Ali Ababwa has a seperate storyling going on, so Rapada retaines it.

Hey Tiberious, I think you've got the wrong result for the Strongman match. :p

GOLDEN AGE WRESTLING COMES TO NEW JERSEY

NIGHT#3

http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/5173/gawbanner.jpg

HELD AT THE WESTON GYMNASIUM, NEW JERSEY

IN FRONT OF A 300 STRONG SELL-OUT CROWD

FEBRUARY 17TH 2012

http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/8278/joseangelgarces.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://img850.imageshack.us/img850/2066/jackamerica.jpg

JOSE ANGEL GARCES vs JACK AMERICA

*A good, fast paced match here, a rarity in GAW*

*Jack America got a nice, technical match out of Garcés...*

*...before locking in the Patriot Stretch
(STO)
and leaving Garcés no choice but to tap*

JACK AMERICA wins via submission (5:57)

Reviewers Thoughts:
That was a
really
good match! Only short but it, in my opinion, truly showcased not only Jack America's supreme skills, but showed that youngster José Ángel Garcés, given the right opponent, can really shine in the ring!

STEAMBOAT HUDSON vs TONY CHI

*Tony Chi came out to the ring first, with Hudson coming out looking all business*

*Hudson started laying into Chi before the bell and all but dominated the match*

*To his credit, Chi did get a bit of offense in...*

*...before getting leveled with a sloppy clothesline*

*Hudson bounced off the ropes and landed his Big Splash on poor Tony Chi for the pin*

STEAMBOAT HUDSON wins via pinfall (5:57)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Now, I've seen tapes of Tony Chi, that guy can wrestle and well for a youngster. But Hudson, well, Chi did the best he could to sell what he got. Once again though, the GAW crowd didn't seem to mind.

GRADE: E+

OPEN CHALLENGE MATCH

THE STRONGMAN
(w/The Ringmaster)
vs BURN
(w/Crash)

*The Strongman and The Ringmaster looked surprised when Crash & Burn's music hit...*

*...but from Crash's jeans & T-shirt it was obvious he wasn't coming down to the ring to compete*

*The Strongman challenged Burn to a test of strength, Burn accepted and put up a spirited effort, but was overpowered quickly*

*However he managed to fight back enough to boot Strongman in the gut and take the advantage*

*Burn kept out of The Strongman reach with quick strikes and running attacks...*

*...until The Ringmaster distracted Burn long enough for The Strongman to pick him up and slam him to the canvas*

*Crash went and took care of The Ringmaster, then went to get into the ring and attack Strongman*

*The ref tried to stop Crash getting in the ring while The Strongman laughed at him...*

*...but Burn managed to sneak behind Stongman and quickly roll him up, the ref counting the three before Burn bailed to the outside*

BURN wins via pinfall (6:41)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Not a bad match, easy to follow and both Crash & The Ringmaster did good work out there.

SPIKE DARYL vs DWAINE KAI

*The veteran Daryl had to pull out all the stops in this match*

*The younger Kai kept Daryl on the run for the majority of the match to the delight of the crowd*

*Finally Daryl took the advantage with a well timed Gut Check as Kai attempted a Double Axehandle from the second rope...*

*...and after a brutal DDT Daryl went to the top rope and delivered the Spike Bomb
(Swanton Bomb)
to secure the victory*

SPIKE DARYL wins via pinfall (7:57)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Dwaine Kai looked really good out there tonight, Daryl really put over the size & style difference between the two and it worked well. Good to see Daryl get a win too

GAW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/251/gawtagteam.jpg

THE WOODCUTTERS

(Lumber Jack & Yukon Jacques)

vs

THE FLYING BULLETS

(B. Brian Browne & Blair Brunzell)

*A very even match from the two veteran teams*

*At the six minute mark the ref was knocked down and all four men ended up in the ring*

*The four brawled until Brunzell, the legal man for The Bullets, was pitched to the outside*

*The Woodcutters used their numbers advantage to deliver The Bandsaw to B. Brian Browne and Yukon Jacque covered Browne as the ref awoke and counted the three*

THE WOODCUTTERS win via pinfall (7:27)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Another decent match, no surprise given the amount of time these teams have faced off in the past, I recognised a couple of spots from back in the day.

NYTRO vs KENNY FOREMAN

*One again Kenny Foreman looked a little nervous getting into the ring...*

*...and once again his premonition was correct, as Nytro threw him around the ring*

*However, Foreman did make a comeback of sorts, before falling prey to a Nytrus Bomb
(Snap Powerbomb)
out of nowhere and Nytro picked up the three count*

NYTRO wins via pinfall (6:26)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Foreman sold Nytro's offense well and made him look like a legitimate threat, which is what he's being paid for, so well done him!

RUDY SINGLE PROMO

Before their match Rudy Single came to the ring and cut a promo on the man mountain Eviscerator. Single reminded everyone of when Eviscerator spent time playing the awful Prince Charmless in the WWWE, and with the crowd laughing and cheering Single called 'Charmless' down to the ring

Reviewers Thoughts:
Really funny promo from Single, certainly got the crowd going after so many matches in a row with no breaks

EVISCERATOR vs 'All Man' RUDY SINGLE

*Much like the Burn vs Strongman match earlier in the night Single spent a lot of time employing a hit-and-run technique...*

*...until Eviscerator caught Single with a massive short-arm clothesline*

*From that point the big man dominated the match and looked to have things won until Ali Ababwa's music hit*

*Eviscerator turned to look at the curtain to the back, but The Iron Sheik didn't appear*

*However the distraction provided Rudy Single the time he needed to regroup and as Eviscerator turned back to the job in hand...*

*... Single delivered his patented Flying Double Axe Handle Smash, knocking the big man to the mat. Single got the quick three count for the win*

RUDY SINGLE wins via pinfall (6:11)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Wow! These guys just didn't click
at all
, miss-timing, the works. But Single's interaction with the crowd saved the match, just going to show that the RAWA Legend still has a lot to give in the ring.

GRADE: D

http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/6327/aliababwa.jpghttp://img225.imageshack.us/img225/1651/eviscerator.jpg

ABABWA ATTACKS EVISCERATOR

As soon as the bell rang to end the match Ali Ababwa ran to the ring and started laying in to the still downed Eviscerator. After about a minute Kenny Foreman, Crash & Burn ran to the ring to seperate the two men, but Jack Bodydrop, The Strongman & Steamboat Hudson ran down and an eight man brawl ensued. Finally the good guys routted the bad guys and stood victorious in the ring. Ababwa got on the mic and challenged Eviscerator to a match at next week's Tour Finalle show, No Holds Barred, Falls Count Anywhere... and if he wins the GAW World Heavyweight Title in tonight's Main Event he'll even put it on the line! The big man nodded and roared 'It's on!'

Reviewers Thoughts:
Good segment, and we definitely get Ababwa vs Eviscerator next week... lets hope it doesn't disappoint after such a build-up!

THE MOONSHINERS

(Billy Ray & Lee Earl)

vs

THE DEVASTATORS

(Juggernaut & Monstrosity)

*This match was a pretty 'full-contact' affair, with both teams throwing brutal punches and slams with vigour*

*But slowly The Devastators took control of the match...*

*...and once Monstrosity hauled Lee Earl on to his shoulders for the Devastation Drop and Juggernaut hit it it was all over*

THE DEVASTATORS win via pinfall (6:34)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Oh my god! These two veteran teams just put on the best show of the tour so far! I mean, it was nothing different, but what they delivered was a picture perfect brawling tag team match. Totally wasn't expecting that! Awesome!

MATCH for #1 CONTENDERSHIP to the GAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

JACK BODYDROP vs 'The Big Cahoona' KAY PASA

*This was totally Kay Pasa's match, with the big Hawaiian dominating former WWWE World Champion Jack Bodydrop for the most part*

*At one point when Bodydrop was down 'The Big Cahoona' got up to the second rope pointed to the back, then motioned around his waist, he really seemed to want another shot at the GAW World Heavyweight Title*

*As he got down Bodydrop blindsided him and Irish Whipped Pasa into the ropes...*

*...but Kay Pasa was ready and delivered his patented Running Headbutt to Bodydrop, sealing the victory*

KAY PASA wins via pinfall (8:15)

Reviewers Thoughts:
A solid match. Bit odd that main eventer Bodydrop was just beat in a squash match, but it certainly made Kay Pasa look ready to take on Terry Rapada at next week's Tour Finalle show for the GAW World Heavyweight Title.

'Dr Texas' TERRY RAPADA vs 'The Iron Sheik' ALI ABABWA

*An even match here, with both men getting in some offense*

*The match spilled to the outside and almost ended in a double count-out...*

*...but Ababwa rolled Rapada back into the ring at the 7 count*

*Ababwa climbed to the top turnbuckle on the outside and signaled for his patented Flying Mongolian Chop...*

*...but as he steadied himself Rapada hit the ropes and Ababwa landed tackle first on the top turnbuckle, before falling into the ring*

*Dr Texas picked Ababwa up, whipped him into the ropes and delivered his Texas Death Drop
(Stalling flapjack)
, pinning The Sheik retain his title*

TERRY RAPADA wins via pinfall to retain the GAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE (11:36)

Reviewers Thoughts:
A really good match there given who was involved. I was a bit worried when they went to the outside, but it all got back on track. Good ending. And we get Kay Pasa vs Terry Rapada II for the Main Event of the final show of the tour. Should be good.

GRADE: C-

OVERALL THOUGHTS

A good show, not as good as last week though. Still, it has set up some matches for next week's Tour Finalle and we got that barnstormer tag match between The Moonshiners & The Devastators so all in all, well worth the ticket money!

GAW FALLOUT - JACK BODYDROP UNHAPPY AND MORE

FEBRUARY 18TH 2012

So, the third show from Golden Age Wrestling is over and it wasn't quite as good as their second unfortunately! Here is some backstage gossip from it:

JACK BODYDROP UNHAPPY

http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/5532/jackbodydrop.jpg

Our sources tell us that Jack Bodydrop is far from happy about his essentially squash match last night against Kay Pasa. This comes amid rumours that Jack America has been far from impressed with Bodydrop's backstage attitude and general in-ring skills thus far. However Gordon Watts is high on the former WWWE champ so we can at least expect him to be kept around for the March Tour in New England.

YOUNGSTERS IMPRESSING

http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/8234/tonychi.jpghttp://img849.imageshack.us/img849/8278/joseangelgarces.jpghttp://img818.imageshack.us/img818/8329/mrhawaii.jpghttp://img13.imageshack.us/img13/7786/kennyforeman.jpg

Jack America is said to be pretty impressed with the way the younger wrestlers on the roster have been knuckling down and doing their jobs, selling the older guy's offense well and making the veterans look as good as they can. I managed to speak briefly with Jack earlier today, and he said, 'It is my fond hope that working with legends all over the country will get my pick of the younger generation noticed by the big leagues'.

Apparently he looks forward to the day when Dwaine Kai or Kenny Foreman knocks on his door and says, 'Boss, I got a call from the AWF...'. And the way those kids are looking, it probably won't be too far away.

But Jack told me, 'That's no problem, I'm always on the look-out for fresh young talent that would slot into GAW nicely'. Good to know!

WATTS MORE THAN A ONE TRICK PONY

http://imageshack.us/a/img341/903/gordonwatts.jpg

On the internet webcast this week no-one came out to provide colour commentary for The Devastators' match. However Gordon Watts did an outstanding job on his own, proving he is more than just a decent announcer!

INCOMING FOR GAW'S TOUR FINALLE

http://imageshack.us/a/img198/4203/gawh.jpg

As we reported last week, Gordon Watts asked Jack America to hire a few more Legends to pad out the roster. We can now confirm that FIVE new wrestlers will be joining GAW for their Tour Finalle Show and on into next month's tour in New England. Jack America is, however, keeping his cards very close to his chest. All he has said is that all five men spent some of their career working for the WWWE and he is determined to keep the five wrestler's identities a secret until next week's show.

********************

And that's all the GAW news we have for you for now, but rest assured we'll have the card up for next week's Tour Finalle Show just as soon as it's posted on goldenagewrestling.com. Till next time,

GOLDEN AGE WRESTLING LEAVES NEW JERSEY

FEBRUARY 24TH 2012

MYSTERY OPPONENT #1

http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/9866/rudysingle.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://img16.imageshack.us/img16/4185/blankbackground.jpg

'All Man'
RUDY SINGLE vs ???

With the well documented but, as yet unrevealed, new signings debuting this show there will be a number of surprises. First of these will be Rudy Single's opponent. All GAW management have said is that Single's opponent is better known for his work after WWWE but he's willing to back to his roots to go toe-to-toe with the RAWA Legend Rudy Single!

MYSTERY OPPONENT #2

http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/8234/tonychi.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://img16.imageshack.us/img16/4185/blankbackground.jpg

TONY CHI vs ???

Youngster Tony Chi will be facing off against yet another debuting former WWWE wrestler. All that has been said is that this man also made his name after the WWWE folded, but is determined to prove that greatness doesn't begin and end with a company that closed ten years ago.

MYSTERY OPPONENT #3

http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/9973/billyray.jpghttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/6173/leeearl.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://img818.imageshack.us/img818/8329/mrhawaii.jpghttp://img16.imageshack.us/img16/4185/blankbackground.jpg

THE MOONSHINERS

(Billy Ray & Lee Earl)

vs

DWAINE KAI & ???

Yet again Billy Ray's mouth has got The Moonshiners in trouble, this time with youngster Dwaine Kai! Billy Ray overheard Kai telling Tony Chi that Australian's were some of the toughest guys on earth. Billy Ray took offense at that, and told Kai he had best get one of his 'buddies from Dorothey's Country' over here to test the theory...

NO HOLDS BARRED FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE GRUDGE MATCH

'The Iron Sheik'
ALI ABABWA vs EVISCERATOR

These two men will finally get to settle their differences. Expect violence, nuff said!

MYSTERY OPPONENT #4 - GAW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/4622/lumberjackz.jpghttp://img255.imageshack.us/img255/3479/yukonjacques.jpg

THE WOODCUTTERS ©

(Lumber Jack & Yukon Jacques)

vs

THE FLYING BULLETS

(B. Brian Browne & Blair Brunzell)

vs

??? & ???

With the pinfall by Yukon Jacques over B. Brian Browne being declared null and void by GAW Management due to Browne not being the legal man The Flying Bullets once again have a shot at the GAW American Tag Team Titles. However, management have added another team to the match. One man has already featured heavily on the tour, one man will be making his GAW debut, both have demanded a shot at gold and so have been entered into the match.

MYSTERY OPPONENT #5

http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/2066/jackamerica.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://img16.imageshack.us/img16/4185/blankbackground.jpg

JACK AMERICA vs ???

'The most patriotic man alive' Jack America will be facing off against our final debuting former WWWE wrestler. All that has been said is that this man also made his name after the WWWE folded but, like Tony Chi's opponent, is determined to prove that just because his gimmick stuck for life doesn't mean he didn't make it his own!

MAIN EVENT MATCH for the GAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

http://img853.imageshack.us/img853/1456/drtexas.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://img84.imageshack.us/img84/3440/kaypasa.jpg

'Dr Texas'
TERRY RAPADA © vs
'The Big Cahoona'
KAY PASA

With Kay Pasa coming off a victory over Jack Bodydrop last week and Terry Rapada successfully defending his title against 'The Iron Sheik', both these guys are pretty hot right now. The only question really is: Who wants it more? Will the big Hawaiian who has never held a legendary title win his first? Can the much decorated 'Dr Texas' use the knowledge he has gained in title matches over the years to hold on to the gold?

The best way to find out is LIVE at THE WESTON GYMNASIUM!

*PLUS THE REST OF THE GAW LEGENDS WILL ALSO BE IN ACTION!*

I'll be at the THE WESTON GYMNASIUM, NEW JERSEY on WEDNESDAY 24TH FEBRUARY for Golden Age Wrestling's TOUR FINALLE SHOW out of New Jersey, will you?

One more clue for the debuting workers: They all had pretty minor roles in the WWWE.

Good luck folks :D

Intresting choices here.

RUDY SINGLE vs The Brooklyn Bully (extra point for a correct guess)

This would be a good match, but I'm guessing I might be wrong here just because it's a matchup that deserves better than being the opener.

TONY CHI vs LUGOSI (extra point for a correct guess)

I always wanted to use him in my POW game, but he kept asking for title runs.

THE MOONSHINERS vs DWAINE KAI & RICKY BINKS? (extra point for a correct guess)

Don't know about this one, but the preview implied the mystery man was Australian.

ALI ABABWA VS EVISCERATOR

No clue.

THE WOODCUTTERS vs THE FLYING BULLETS vs NYTRO and TUNDRA(extra points for correct guesses)

This team needs to happen.

JACK AMERICA vs MARSHALL LAW (extra point for a correct guess)

He fits the profile of a ex-WWE guy who took the gimmick and made it his own.

TERRY RAPADA vs KAY PASA

This feels a bit like a throwaway title defense. I would be shocked to see Kay Pasa win here.

RUDY SINGLE vs The Brooklyn Bully (extra point for a correct guess)

Single will win this one since none of the new guys weren´t big names in WWWE. Bully fits to the desciprion of a guy who´s career took of after he left WWWE

TONY CHI vs Hardcore Haven (extra point for a correct guess)

Haven is another guy who´s career took of after WWWE and he would be big enough name to be more than jobber here.

THE MOONSHINERS vs DWAINE KAI & Handsome Terry Hayes (extra point for a correct guess)

Ricky Binks is only Australian in my database (that´s older version though) but since he doesn´t have anything to do with WWWE I randomly pick Handsome Terry Hayes here. Whoever it is I´m assuming that Moonshiners will get a win over pairing that will likely be random.

ALI ABABWA VS EVISCERATOR

Neither haven´t been that impressive so far but Ababwa has been showing little bit more promise.

THE WOODCUTTERS vs THE FLYING BULLETS vs Christian Prophet & Spike Daryl (extra points for correct guesses)

Woodcutters are still quite new as champs and you have more face than heel teams so it´s likely that they will hold the titles until new heel teams arise. As for mystery guys Prophet looks liekly to be one of the new guys since he´s also fitting to profile of guy who´s career took off after WWWE plus I just hope he´s in (hey what I can say, I like he´s alt). :p As for the other mystery man I just did choose a heel who I can think would be able to form somewhat permanent tag team with Prophet since you could use another heel team.

JACK AMERICA vs Lugosi (extra point for a correct guess)

This is a tough one as it´s semi-main event so who ever the mystery man is is likely either a big name or skilled. To be honest Lugosi isn´t either so I´m likely wrong here but I like him to get in so I just go with this one as it´s not like I have better option to present.

TERRY RAPADA vs KAY PASA

No title change yet.

So, I've managed a quick turn-around on this show due to having to do very little due to my wife's migraine. So I'll give it a day or so then post a couple of hours before as a final heads up before posting the show ;)

ALSO

I have changed the prize a little:

1st place will still bag you a definite signing choice for the Tour3/4 season.

However, places 1-5 will also be allowed to ask Jack America a question each in the interview he has booked in with 'Wrestling in Review' on the 27th February.

So, happy predicting folks, and good luck! :D

GOLDEN AGE WRESTLING LEAVES NEW JERSEY

TOUR FINALLE

http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/5173/gawbanner.jpg

HELD AT THE WESTON GYMNASIUM, NEW JERSEY

IN FRONT OF A 300 STRONG SELL-OUT CROWD

FEBRUARY 24TH 2012

http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/9866/rudysingle.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img715/4673/thebrooklynbully.jpg

'All Man' RUDY SINGLE vs THE BROOKLYN BULLY

*A decent match between these two guys*

*Bully got a bit of a pop, even an 'S-U-X' chant was started by a small group of teenagers...*

*...but those quickly turned to boos as he pulled out every dirty trick in his arsenal to try and beat the RAWA Legend*

*However, they all came to nothing and Single finally hit his patented Flying Double Axe Handle Smash to secure the victory

RUDY SINGLE wins via pinfall (7:01)

Reviewers Thoughts:
A decent debut for The Brooklyn Bully there, and Rudy Single gets to add another former WWWE wrestler to his 'Defeated' list to boot!

DWAINE KAI INTRODUCES HIS PARTNER

With The Moonshiners in the ring ready for their match Dwaine Kai walked out of the curtain, mic in hand. He cut a
very
good promo on rednecks vs Australian outbackers, then introduced his partner who intended to prove the theory, Alligator Stu!

Reviewers Thoughts:
As I said, very good promo from the youngster, it's easy to see why he was once Australia's #1 wrestler! And OMG, Hardcore Haven back in his most over role of the WWWE days, Alligator Stu! Jack America must have been
really
convincing to get Haven back into that gimmick!

THE MOONSHINERS

(Billy Ray & Lee Earl)

vs

DWAINE KAI & ALLIGATOR STU

*The match was a classic style tag team match-up*

*Ray & Earl cut the ring in half for 'Team OZ', working on Kai and not allowing Stu to tag in*

*Finally Kai managed to reverse a suplex into a DDT and got the hot tag to Alligator Stu as Earl tagged Ray in*

*Alligator Stu cleared house, then picked up the much bigger Billy Ray and delivered the Gator Bomb
(Falcons Arrow)
before covering the Moonshiner for the win*

DWAINE KAI & ALLIGATOR STU win via pinfall (8:24)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Another good debut there! Dwaine Kai & Alligator Stu actually worked really well together as a team and Kai once again sold like an old pro. Lee Earl didn't look like his heart was in it though

MONSTROSITY vs JOSE ANGEL GARCES

*Monstrosity was all over this match*

*José Ángel Garcés didn't really get much of a lookin...*

*...and Monstrosity put him away with a Stalling Brainbuster*

MONSTROSITY wins via pinfall (5:07)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Another squash match for José Ángel Garcés, and tonight he just didn't look that into it. Monstrosity, however, carried the short match well and the crowd were really behind him

CRASH, BURN & KENNY FOREMAN

vs

JACK BODYDROP, THE STRONGMAN & STEAMBOAT HUDSON
(w/The Ringmaster)

*This match seems to be due to fall-out from last week's show's eight man brawl*

*A pretty good six man tag match, with the heels dominating the match due to the size of Strongman & Hudson and the opportunistic nature of Jack Bodydrop*

*However, Jack Bodydrop held Kenny Foreman while The Strongman swung a punch at the youngster's head from the outside...*

*...but Foreman ducked and Jack Bodydrop got punched square in the face!*

*Foreman capitallised on this and quickly rolled up Bodydrop for the shock victory*

CRASH, BURN & KENNY FOREMAN win via pinfall (6:23)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Well fair play to Kenny Foreman, a pinfall victory over Jack Bodydrop! In fact, a solid match all round really. I'm amazed Bodydrop is still hanging around though, his ego must have hated that!

JUGGERNAUT vs SPIKE DARYL

*Unlike Monstrosity's match earlier in the night, Juggernaut didn't get to just bust out a few moves*

*Spike Daryl even managed to take the advantage at one point*

*Unfortunately a well timed Big Boot cut him down and as he got up Juggernaut hit the Mack Truck Crash
(Spear)
to secure the win*

JUGGERNAUT wins via pinfall (6:59)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Spike Daryl got a surprising amount of offense in there, he looked pretty competitive. But obviously the bigger man won, Juggernaut hits one of the most brutal spears I have ever seen!

MYSTERY GAW LEGEND INTRODUCES HIS PARTNER

With The Woodcutters & The Flying Bullets already in the ring they awaiting their opponents... a howling Arctic wind was heard over the PA and Nytro stepped through the curtain! He ranted about all the chances he should have had, and, just like his partner, now, in GAW, he intends to just take what he wants. Because now he has a partner as cold-hearted as him... TUNDRA! Together, they are The Arctic Alliance!

Reviewers Thoughts:
Nice! Quite a few industry pundits called this one, probably because it just makes so much sense!

THE WOODCUTTERS

(Lumber Jack & Yukon Jacques)

vs

THE FLYING BULLETS

(B. Brian Browne & Blair Brunzell)

vs

THE ARCTIC ALLIANCE

(Nytro & Tundra)

*The match started off with the two heel teams double-teaming The Flying Bullets...*

*...until Tundra went for a pin!*

*Then Lumber Jack began to destroy Tundra, throwing him from pillar to post*

*The Bullets took the chance to regroup and a succession of quick tags saw Lumber Jack the worse for wear while Tundra slowly crawled to his corner unobserved*

*Nytro got the tag just as Lumber Jack managed to find the energy to clothesline Blair Brunzell almost out of his boots*

*Nytro whipped Lumber Jack into Yukon Jacques knocking both men down, punched B. Brian Browne off the apron and, as Brunzell got up, hit the Nytrus Bomb on the veteran highflyer before covering him for the pin*

THE ARCTIC ALLIANCE win via pinfall to become the NEW GAW AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS (7:57)

Reviewers Thoughts:
WELL! That was an OK match, nothing spectacular really. Surprised that the new team of Nytro & Tundra won the titles straight off the bat, lets hope they can carry it off well on the next tour.

NO HOLDS BARRED FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE GRUDGE MATCH

'The Iron Sheik' ALI ABABWA vs EVISCERATOR

*This match actually began before the bell even rang, with Ababwa & Eviscerator bursting through the curtain already brawling while Ababwa's entrance music played!*

*The pair brawled down the aisle and around the ring, slamming each other off barriers and smashing each other with stiking blows before actually moving things into the ring*

*Eviscerator actually looked to have the match won with a vicious Bearhug, but on the third raising of his hand held firm, and a trio of double neck-chops forced the monster to release him*

*Ababwa rallied and managed to take Eviscreator's legs from under him...*

*...Ababwa rolled Eviscerator over and locked in the Camel Clutch*

*At one point Eviscerator looked like he was going to break out of the hold, the Sheik loosed it and kicked the monster hard in the back, before applying it again*

*Once again the big monster looked able to break out so once again Ababwa loosed the hold*

*This time the Sheik fetched a chair and climbed to the top rope*

*As Eviscerator got to his feet Ababwa threw the chair at him. The monster caught it, but Ababwa launched himself at Eviscerator and smashed the chair into the big man's head!*

*Ababwa, completely spent from the manouver, rolled over and draped his arm over Eviscerator's chest, the ref counting the 3 count for the win*

ALI ABABWA wins via pinfall (8:26)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Damn! That was pretty full on! To be honest the crowd were a little shocked, once again, by the level of violence displayed. But that was an awesome ending to the feud, here's looking forward to whatever the next tour has in store for the two men.

THE MODERN LEGENDS INTRODUCE THEMSELVES

Unfamiliar music hit and the last two debutantes of the night made their way to the ring... none other than AWF regulars Marshal Law & Leroy Winters! Law & Winters cut a promo about the legends of GAW, running them all down as broken old men and how they themselves never had to rely on the 'residual fame' of the WWWE & RAWA, instead working their way to the top on the indies. Which is why they demanded to NOT face any 'old men' tonight! Winters ended the segment by shouting, 'Bring on the first victim!'.

Reviewers Thoughts:
Good promo from the two AWF stalwarts there, their cocky, better than the old-school attitude should work well.

LEROY WINTERS vs TONY CHI

*This match totally belonged to the newcomer Leroy Winters*

*Chi did manage to get a few reversals in early on but nothing really came of them...*

*...until Chi landed a stiff kick that saw Winters head to the outside to regroup and wipe the blood from his mouth*

*Tony Chi played up to the crowd on the first rope but Winter slid back in to the ring and delivered a Jumping Neckbreaker to the unsuspecting rookie!*

*From this point Chi never really recovered and Winters finally slapped on the Long Winter's Rest
(Crippler Crossface)
, leaving Chi no choice but to tap*

LEROY WINTERS wins via submission (7:48)

Reviewers Thoughts:
A good showing for Winters' first time in the GAW ring and, as usual, Tony Chi did his bit to perfection... well almost! I doubt that stiff kick to the mouth was meant to be that stiff, but the pair covered it well.

MARSHAL LAW CONGRATULATES WINTERS

Marshal Law once again grabbed a mic and congratulated his pal Winters on a successful match, before demanding his opponent come out and answer to the crimes of being a 'goody goody sickening excuse of a true American patriot'!

MARSHAL LAW vs JACK AMERICA

*This was a classic style match-up, with flurries of moves before playing the the crowd*

*At one point Jack America looked to have the advantage and seemed to be setting Law up for the Patriot Bomb...*

*...but Law countered with a sneaky low-blow to take control*

*Law whipped America at the ropes, hit the Wrong Arm of the Law
(Clothesline from Hell)
and covered America with a handfull of tights for the win*

MARSHAL LAW wins via pinfall (8:40)

'Dr Texas' TERRY RAPADA vs 'The Big Cahoona' KAY PASA

*An even match here, with both men getting in some offense*

*Rapada finally gained the upper hand with a well placed DDT and looked to have the match won*

*Suddenly Kay Pasa started stamping his foot, Rapada threw a punch but it had no effect!*

*'The Big Cahoona' blocked the next punch, and returned with three of his own!*

*He whipped 'Dr Texas' at the ropes, ready to deliver his patented Running Headbutt...*

*...but Rapada bailed to the outside. Kay Pasa followed and chased the champ around the ring and back into it*

*Rapada ran the ropes and threw a clothesline at Kay Pasa as he got into the ring...*

*...Kay Pasa ducked it, hit the ropes himself and delivered the Running Headbutt to Rapada before covering him for the win!

KAY PASA wins via pinfall to become the NEW GAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE (9:48)

Reviewers Thoughts:
KAY PASA WINS!! OMG! Not really sure what to make to that! I don't think that anyone expected Rapada to drop the title after only three shows as champ, but Kay Pasa has finally picked up his first 'legendary' title!

OVERALL THOUGHTS

An improvement on last week's show for sure! All five new wrestlers had decent debut matches, hell, Tundra got to pick up his first even title! And 'The Big Cahoona' is now the GAW World Heavyweight Champion, this should certainly shake things up for the next tour! All in all, a good end to Golden Age Wrestling's first tour in New Jersey, I'm sure looking forward to next month in Rhode Island now!

So the final scores for this month's tour:

1st - Tiberious4 - 19/28

2nd - MichiganHero - 19/34

3rd - TheEnforcer - 18/34

4th - Zergon - 16/28

5th= - Midnightnick - 15/34

5th= - Emark - 15/34

7th - jhd1 - 10/14

8th= - Tigerkinney - 10/15

9th - juggaloninjalee - 4/6

12th - Jingo - 3/6

13th - Hashasheen - 2/6

http://imageshack.us/a/img684/6543/pwinnerfeb12.jpg

Which means the Tiberious4 wins the wrestler of his choice on the May/June tour! If you could PM your pick rather than putting in the thread I would appreciated, it may be that I physically can't sign your first choice and that would just be embarrasing to deal with in public. Your pick can be a legend or a youngster, so don't feel constricted to purely ex WWWE & RAWA guys ;)

It also means that Tiberious4, MichiganHero, TheEnforcer, Zergon, Midnightnick & Emark are welcome to ask a question each for Jack America to answer in his upcoming interview. Please do put these in the thread as it will avoid any chance of repeat questions :D

Many thanks to those who have predicted and had nice words to say, I really appreciate it :)
