<p>I've been toying with Daz Studio a little today, wanting to finally try my hand at rendering. I got the Genesis Base model and have gotten first (very basic) results which is nice. Now I don't know how to go into more detail with the Genesis model. How do I manually manipulate stuff like head shape, eye position, nose etc. ?</p><p> </p><p>

Any help would be appreciated, might be I only need a pointer towards some good tutorial that I have not yet managed to discover. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Yeah that one got me started. Didn't find anything about morphing facial features in there at first. Now I found out that there actually is some talking about a "morphs++" bundle in there. I checked daz3d.com and it seems similar morph-packages for the Genesis base can be bought.

But is there no way to manually manipulate facial features so that you can get different-looking renders out of the simple Genesis pack. In other words, without having to buy stuff?

Shipshirt these are good stuff. Even if you apparently have a disdain for him I wasn't aware of <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Amazing Shipshirt!

Shipshirt these are good stuff. Even if you apparently have a disdain for him I wasn't aware of :)

Thanks! Ha, yeah I always hated the "Irwin R Schyster" type of character names that were so on the nose. Plus the fact that this dude never seems to get hired by anyone just made me dismiss him out of hand. I tried to make his skin as flawless as possible altho I guess you could have gone the other way and had him be really ugly so the skin care was ironic. But there was enough irony and silliness inherent in the character already so I went for the straight ahead approach.

I ended up liking my own re-render so much I hired him as an opening card guy in TCW. I'm my own biggest fan, it seems :) (I did give him a different name though :) )
