The speed of matches, by their nature, are exactly the same as previous games - it's a turn based strategy game after all, I can't speed up a player's choice. I can't see how a 'multi advance' would work within the WreSpi concept.

Daily multi-advance? So you can skip from show to show? That would make a big difference.

The only 'downtime' is the end of month processing between each set of storylines.</p>

You can see their hirings, firings, promotions and demotions, yes. The game is designed entirely around the player's character's career however, so the game world exists and revolves around your decisions. If you're looking for a 'watcher' style game where you just see how the world evolves, that's TEW's domain.

No I get that. But at the same time, I base my decisions with a company like whether or not I'm a heel or a babyface based on their champions upon signing so I follow that as I get close to the popularity I need.

  • 2 weeks later...

<p>Well, today's entry certainly gave me a reason to be happy. I just hope the full release date is in December (mainly because that's the earliest I can afford it... <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ).</p><p> </p><p>

It also has me starting the rough draft of The League's reopening post.... <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>My only experience with this series is the demo for 2, so forgive me if this has already been answered.</p><p> </p><p>

How dynamic is the game's universe? What I mean is this, if I start the game as a rookie, it doesn't seem possible to be tag team partners with a main event-er. </p><p> </p><p>

So with that in mind does my tag team partner's popularity grow with mine? Or will we eventually reach a point where we need to ditch our partner for another more prominent star? Same for the companies you work for? Can your popularity help the company grow in size/popularity?</p>

I'm assuming that either promotions don't have "sizes" and are just there, or that they have static sizes.</p>

The sizes are static and work in conjunction with the wrestler's popularity - thereby forming a logical progression, a ladder of sorts, so that you work your way up step by step. This therefore allows mod makers to easily set up a game world that makes sense and has definable 'paths' to the top, and makes the user's career much easier to understand as you can map out your career in advance.

Yes you can 'carry' a partner up in popularity.

Companies do not alter in size, they are not done like previous games with separate popularity, so the last question is not applicable to WreSpi3.

With that in mind how easy is it to get a partner to join a new company with you if your goal is to become the #1 tag team in the world.

i dont like the idea of having static Popularity for promotions. i dont like SWF and TCW. but to become the biggest star that ever lived i have to work for them....i rather be an indy talent then :D

You can always add your own fed to the database. :)

Career mode is singles-based - you can create tag teams and take part in many tag team storylines, but ultimately it's about your character as an individual, the game is not set up to allow you to play as if you were a tag team.
