Rock Downpour: It is time to kick it ooooooooooooooooold schooooooool. Welcome to New York City Wrestling's Running Wild! We are at the Ministry again and we got a action packed night for you.</p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: This is Sweet and Southern Ernie Turner here to keep the big man here in line and make sure you get the best commentary for each match tonight.</p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: You know this big guy is very close to you.</p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: I am not worried. I don't have any hot dogs on me.</p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: Enough! We got a show to call. Try to be serious.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/bxRj8Z2.jpg</span><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/UqeGFGu.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd gets loud as Bulldozer Brandon Smith comes out. He looks ready for his match for the evening and he stalks towards the ring playing up to the crowd. He is oblivious to what is about to happen right until the crowd shouts to try and warn him.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/VJiMHTW.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/rYMUfTP.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/QClta1l.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Monty Trescarde comes out of nowhere and nails Brandon Smith in the back of the head with his briefcase before he and Andrew Harper start taking the boots to the downed star. Honest Frank soon makes his presence known by getting in the ring with a microphone and he just watches with a smile on the face.</p><p> </p><p>

Honest Frank: Brandon, Brandon, Brandon. It hurts me to hear what you called me last month. So much in fact I have decided tonight our match won't happen. I believe you will be in no shape to perform. *Pause* As you can see I have found some people that are like me. Not respected and not given chances others are given. Andrew and Monty know they are better than where they are positioned in this company. I know that as well. That is why we decided to work together. Three are much stronger than one. Of course I am sure you are finding that out right now, Brandon. I think it was time we put you in your place and you look good in a heap like that, but don't be angry when I say that. I am just being honest.</p><p> </p><p>

Frank tosses the microphone aside and he slips out of the ring and heads to where Monty and Harper are holding up Brandon at this point. Frank just smirks and he slaps the unconscious Brandon hard and he lets his partners drop Smith back to the ground. Frank winks at his partners in crime and moves on. Monty and Harper both head to the ring as staff come out to check on Brandon Smith.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Rating: D+</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: I think it is safe to say Frank won this one.</p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: He didn't win anything! He was a coward and had Money and Muscle do his dirty work for him.</p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: He is the one standing. I consider that a victory.</p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: You are a horrible person.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Money and Muscle vs Blue Collar Boys with Dharma Gregg</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Money and Muscle don't look to be messing around tonight at all. They start to beat down on their opponents as soon as they get in the ring. Queen is dumped out of the ring quickly and checked on Dharma who tries to revive him. It leaves Honeyman in the clutches of Money and Muscle. Trescarde finally steps out mostly to make sure Queen doesn't get back in. Honeyman tries to fight back, but Harper overpowers him and hefts him up high and nails him with a running powerslam.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Winners: Money and Muscle</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong> </strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>

Rating: E+</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: It looks like Honest Frank is working with Money and Muscle and the alliance works out for the trio tonight at least.</p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: I am liking this. Frank is a proven winner and he will help out those guys.</p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: I am not sure about that. He might be making some big enemies. He cost The Ring Generals a match then they beat down Brandon Smith. I am sure he won't take that beating without retribution.</p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: I don't think they are worried. They are big boys and look how they are doing so far.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tennessee Williams vs The New York Doll with Roxy Kitten</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Williams starts out strong and takes it to The Doll early on. Doll flails about and eventually gets his wits about him and a thumb to the eye stops Williams momentarily and lets The Doll to take control. He never full relents and he mostly gets the former tag team champion in check. Both comeback attempts by Williams are stifled and hits him with a swinging neckbreaker to put him away.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Winner: The New York Doll</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong> </strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>

Rating: E+</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: Another win for The New York Doll. Maybe it is the year of The Doll.</p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: Weirder things have happened. I would be more worried if I didn't see you sneaking snacks during a show. Then I know the world is ending.</p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: Oh be serious!</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/o7hJ4dF.jpg</span><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/wNclXCp.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/DTDr8Hy.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The New York Doll seems absolutely overjoyed as he asks for a microphone and motions for Roxy to get in the ring with him.</p><p> </p><p>

The New York Doll: Roxy! Roxy! I did it again! I told you this would be my year. Are you proud of me yet? <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Roxy seems unimpressed still as she snatches the microphone from him and rolls her eyes.</p><p> </p><p>

Roxy Kitten: Are you kidding? Rock is supposed to beat blues and you got a luck win against Sammy. You still lost to Steve too! You better work harder or I really will leave you.</p><p> </p><p>

The New York Doll: <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Roxy drops the microphone and orders The New York Doll to follower her out after helping her out of the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Black Hat Bailey vs Rayne Man © with Cheerleader Nicki</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Bailey does what he does best and that is use his size advantage to bully Rayne Man about at the start of the match. The champ has trouble trying to figure out a good way to approach Bailey and he has to rely more on his speed and even his youth to keep himself in the match. It pays off because despite all that power, Bailey starts to slow down the longer things go and Rayne Man starts to get some momentum behind him. He rocks the big man and even takes him down a few times. Bailey is reeling by the time Rayne Man gets him in the double underhook DDT and puts him away.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner and Still Champion: Rayne Man (Defenses: 1)</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">

Rating: D</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: It wasn't an easy task, but Rayne Man manages his first defense as Tri-State Regional champion.</p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: Black Hat Bailey is a bad man. I can't say he will be happy with the result. </p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: He may get another chance. Bailey will always linger in a title picture just like he always has since coming here.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/o7hJ4dF.jpg</span><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Ring Generals vs Old School Principals</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Both teams know one another so well it is a bit of a chess game as each team tries to get one other the other and gain control of the match. The turning point is when The Masked Mauler gets into the ring and starts to use his strength to overtake Waldorf. Principals isolate him on their side of the ring and use smart tags to keep in control, but it isn't enough to put Dean away. He kicks out of a few pinfall attempts and eventually the Principals make a mistake and allow Dean to make the tag to Statler. Marv takes down both men and in turn they try to double team Statler. Dean recovers enough at that point he manages to join in and things become chaotic. Mauler eventually eats a double lariat that sends him out of the ring and Sanders becomes a victim of the Waldorf Salad Toss.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Winners: The Ring Generals</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong> </strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>

Rock Downpour: It is always a treat to see those two teams go at it. They are the pride of our tag division.</p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: I don't know about that. I don't see any titles around their waists. I say the pride is coming up next.</p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: Maybe one day the Power Players will fill that roll, but they got some time to go.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Boys From The Yukon vs Power Players © with Isabella Encanta</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

It is a big old brawl and the fans don't seem to be exactly behind either team at this point. Michael Bull has trouble getting any sort of order restored. Of course that means there would have been order in the first place. The lumberjacks are the first team to really match the champs in strength and even that just doesn't seem to be enough. Brody and Steel manage to get Whittaker out of the ring and then Brody hits Eric right in the mush with the big boot to daze him. Steel shows his immense strength by hefting up the big man and gets him to submit to the torture rack.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winners and Still Champions: Power Players (Defenses: 2)</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">

Rating: E</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: I rest my case. The pride of our tag division.</p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: They overcome a tough team and remain champs. They certainly have a bright future.</p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: See? You can be humble.</p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: Hah! That is something that I should never hear from a guy like you.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/o7hJ4dF.jpg</span><p> </p><p>

Isabella soon gets in the ring after Eric gets dumped out by Brody and Steel. She hands each man a belt and then starts to speak into the microphone she brought in with her as her clients pose with the titles.</p><p> </p><p>

Isabella Encanta: This is a disgrace. Not to the titles, but to my team. If we can't get a proper challenge here then so be it! As of right now I am issuing a challenge to any team out there to come and try to take the belts from Brody and Steel! If ownership won't give us a challenge, then we will find ones on our own!</p><p> </p><p>

A rather angry looking Isabella tosses the microphone away and motions for her clients to follower her out.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/kKzI9ZK.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Jack Griffith comes out with his newly won Empire championship. He silently regards the fans who seem a bit on the fence when it comes to cheering or booing him. He shows little emotion on his way to the ring and he gets a microphone before climbing in.</p><p> </p><p>

Jack Griffith: I don't hear your cheers nor do I want them. I know you want to boo me because I defeated one of your heroes to hold this title. It seems to be a common theme for me already. A theme that seems to continue because I face Whistler AGAIN.</p><p> </p><p>

He just smirks some and shakes his head while shifting the title from one shoulder to the other. He looks at the crowd again who seem to be booing him now for the most part.</p><p> </p><p>

Jack Griffith: I suppose they know of our past. Our battles down south. Back then before I made my mistakes. Before I became the man I am now. Back then Whistler was younger, stronger.....and a hero like he is now, but times change. We have changed so much. I have become less of the man I was and Whistler has gotten older, weaker. You cheer him because you want to see him keep going. Your cheers make him think he can still continue on. Whistler, I beat you two months ago. I will beat you tonight. Go home....be a family man. <strong>Jack Griffith © vs Whistler</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Jack's words seemed to have fired Whistler up because he starts off completely obliterating the champ with big punishing hits and slams. Jack soon has to get out of the ring and try to avoid Whistler for a few moments to rethink his strategy. He seems to find his time to strike when Whistler starts to get out of the ring to go after him. Jack quickly clips a leg and he starts to work over it on the outside. He eventually has to get back in to keep from being counted out and Whistler barely makes it in as well. Once both are back in the ring Jack continues to work over Whistler's leg. The fans start to chant USA and give Whistler a sudden rush of adrenaline. He starts to fight back and even hobbled by his bad leg he manages to get Jack reeling. He gets ready for the flying shoulder tackle. Jack moves out of the way and Whistler hits the ring post! Jack quickly tries to make the most of his chance and he pulls Whistler to his feet. He is too big to get into the Southern Cross. He goes for the Jack in the Box (Cradle Piledriver) instead and he covers the unconscious Whistler.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Winner and Still Champion: Jack Griffith (Defenses: 1)</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong> </strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>

Rating: D+</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: Atta boy, Jack!</p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: Whistler gave it his best, but Jack Griffith comes out on top and retains the Empire championship.</p><p> </p><p>

Ernie Turner: Yeeehah! Southern Justice will lead us into a new age! Believe it!</p><p> </p><p>

Rock Downpour: That remains to be seen. For now he remains the top dog. We are out of time folks. Next month is Big City Nights! Be sure to join us!</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Final Rating: D+</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/o7hJ4dF.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Back to the D+ range for the show, but given some of the matches I will take that. This has probably been the hardest one to book for me and I hated repeating Jack and Whistler so soon. At least people are starting to flesh out in character a bit more and in the end I scored the same as the first show so I can't really complain. With so many people doing predictions as well I might have to think of a fun prize or the like. Perhaps someone will get to pick an entrant to the King of New York tournament.</p>

It is no secret that both Larry Vessey and Michael Bull consider Monty Trescarde and Andrew Harper future stars in New York City Wrestling. Bull loved Monty's gimmick as work ethnic, while Larry was impressed by the toughness and strength the young Harper exhibited. It just turned into a match made in heaven when both men started tagging together and showed that they played off one another perfectly and come off as a team that has been tagging for much longer than they have been. It was just felt that they needed a mouthpiece to help them out.</p><p> </p><p>

That seems to be where Honest Frank has entered the picture. The aging star has always been one of the best talkers of the company as well as being one of the better in ring workers as well. Putting him with Trescarde and Harper can only help the young stars who look to be heading into a feud with The Ring Generals and Bulldozer Brandon Smith. If this is true there are no real losers here no matter what the outcome. In the end Money and Muscle will come out better workers and this could be a stepping stone for bigger things.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i.imgur.com/o7hJ4dF.jpg</span><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/VJiMHTW.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

In related news it has been found out that Honest Frank has been signed to a contract extension, but the length of the extension is unknown. Frank has winded down his career with New York City Wrestling the past few years he has made it known he is looking to retire there if he can help it. Despite his age, Frank is still a great worker and one of the top heels of the company so retirement won't come any time soon many guess. If he does it looks like he might take on the roll as a manager given how he is a great talker.</p><p> </p><p>

The Power Players made an announcement that they will take on any team that wants to try and take their titles at the last show. It seems New York City Wrestling knows they are a bit short on the face side of tag teams and the fact The Ring Generals might be caught up in a storyline for awhile it looks like Michael Bull has tried to take another route to garner interest in the current tag team champions. For the time being fans will get to see tag teams not currently signed by any companies or tag teams affiliated with the COTT appear and take on the Power Players. It has even been hinted the first challenge will be against former NYCW tag team champions as well.</p><p> </p><p>

Bull hopes that he can pull in hard working tag teams that will help polish off the skills of the big men and make them a memorable tag team that would take on anyone. In turn any teams that appear may also be considered for roster spots if money allows. Bull also said that this is not a for sure thing for the Power Players as well when it comes to keeping the titles. The right team could always come around and impress enough to where a switch may happen. It is unknown how long this series of challenges will go on, but if anything it will garner interest from an audience that will be wondering who will appear at each show.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>I agree with KnowYourEnemy that Wiley Coyote is the likely option here.
