Week 11 Pre-Show Interview

April 7, 2014

Berlin, Germany - Celeste Skye and her uncle, Daichi Tsukuda, have just returned from an intense workout session at a local gym. As they head into the lobby, League reporter Sophia Russell approached them.

Sophia Russell: Good evening you two. Celeste, congrats on last week's tag win over Diamond and Razor Sharp. As you begin the second half of your season tomorrow night against Eidenhoek, what have you done to prepare for him?

Celeste Skye: Well, my uncle and I have been working out for the past two days after arriving in Berlin on Saturday. We also have been looking at his recent matches and comparing them to his earlier matches and have noticed a vast difference in his matches. We are hopeful that we can find a strategy that will work and lead to a victory.

SR: I understand that you have been busy the last few days in Milan. Can you tell us about that?

CS: While I was in Milan, I visited with a family friend who wanted me to take part in a couple of shows that they were running. After agreeing, I worked two shows as well as doing a couple of voice recording sessions for Justice before heading to Berlin.

SR: As you begin the second half of the season tomorrow night, you have a three match divisional lead with seven matches to go. I know that you don't like to look ahead, but what has to be going through your mind with seven matches left?

CS: Like you said, I don't really like to think about my future opponents. I just want to concentrate on the match with Eidenhoek. Once my match is over, then I will focus on my next opponent, and so on and so on.

SR: Thank again Celeste for meeting me for this rather short notice interview and good luck in your match tomorrow.

CS: Thanks.

Got four matches complete. The second half of the card needs to be finished with commentary, and I still have to run a match with those on a bye this week. I might have a different idea to work with this week; will see if the idea in mind actually works in principle.

Show will be up tomorrow.

Season Seven, Week Eleven

Berlin, Germany

April 9, 2014

THE LEAGUE: SEASON SEVEN, WEEK ELEVEN

ALPHA DIVISION: Thor Hammerskald (3-6, OVR 313) vs. Deathseed5 (5-4, OVR 320)

Anthrax's "Blood" hits the speakers, to a decent ovation he emerges from backstage, looking every bit the part of a Viking warrior as he strides to the ring with a determined look on his face...and scattering some of the fans away from the entrance ramp as he turns to glare at them. Making sure the fans are sufficiently cowed, he climbs the steps and enters the ring, his eyes never leaving the middle of the ring as he takes off his entrance gear and holds aloft his title belt for all to see.

Amelia Williams: Ladies and gentlemen, our opening match of the night is scheduled for one fall in the Alpha Division! Currently in the ring, from Oslo, Norway, weighing 310 pounds, he is the reigning and defending League Champion...Thor Hammerskald!

Bob Sinclair: Hello, everyone, and welcome back to The League! We're not wasting any time tonight, as we go right into an Alpha Division match that Thor has to win to keep his hopes of a title defense alive!

Tori Montgomery: While I think it's a bit early to throw "must-win" out there given there's still a month and a half in the season, there's no denying that a loss makes his chances of making the playoffs near-imposible.

Frankie Garnett: Can we at least let him wrestle before throwing the panic out there? Good grief!

The sound of a lightning strike precedes the lights in the arena going out. Saliva's "King of My World" hits the speakers, prompting some of the lights to flash back on in the arena. A figure stands in the entrance way, facing away from the ring with a fist raised in the air, wearing a jacket that is flashing with lights built into it. Turning towards the ring, he immediately makes his way towards it, stopping every now and then to talk smack to those in the crowd he feels are beneath him. As he finally reaches the ring, he climbs one of the turnbuckles, flashing a straight-edge sign as he climbs down into the ring and sits against the turnbuckles, ready to save another opponent.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, weighing 248 pounds...Deathseed5!

Tori Montgomery: Despite being the lightning rod of hate this season—

Frankie Garnett: Did you just throw a Colin Mochrie reference out there?

Tori Montgomery: --yes, Frankie. As I was saying, Deathseed has put together a suitably impressive rookie campaign and right now is in contention for one of the wild card positions.

Bob Sinclair: Like him or hate him, Deathseed has gotten it done in the ring, and he looks to do it again against the League Champion as the bell sounds and this one gets underway!

Frankie Garnett: He got all of that one! Flush under the jaw, and I think Thor is out!

Bob Sinclair: Deathseed shoots the half, here's the count: 1...2...3! Chalk up another one for the rookie!

Amelia Williams: Here is your winner by pinfall, at a time of eight minutes and forty-six seconds...Deathseed5!

Tori Montgomery: Deathseed moves to 6-4, and if he wasn't a wild card threat before, he certainly is now!

Frankie Garnett: If this keeps up, he could be the dark horse come playoff time!

Bob Sinclair: It's entirely possible, as Thor's freefall this season continues.

BETA DIVISION LAST MAN STANDING MATCH: Judah Snow (3-5, OVR 312) vs. El Demonio de Sangre (3-7, OVR 314)

Amelia Williams: The following Beta Division contest is a Last Man Standing match! There will be no pinfalls, submissions, countouts, or disqualifications. The only ways to win are by referee stoppage, or by making your opponent unable to respond to the referee's count of ten.

The opening strains of "God's Gonna Cut You Down" by The Gaslight Anthem hit the arena as a bright spotlight shines on the entrance way. A large figure steps through, completely ignoring the jeers from the fans as he stalks determinedly towards the ring. A lone fan tries to slap his shoulder, and he turns, snarling as the fan scurries away in fear of his life. The distraction aside, he makes his way to the ring and climbs inside, his eyes never leaving the middle of the ring.

Amelia Williams: Introducing first, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing 288 pounds..."The Bastard" Judah Snow!

Bob Sinclair: Snow picked up a much-needed win last week, and looks to add another one in a style of match that should favor him.

Frankie Garnett: If by favor you mean "can get away with beating someone into oblivion," then yes, he has the advantage.

Tori Montgomery: This is the first non-standard match that Snow has wrestled in this season; let's see if the delay was worth it for him.

The driving metal of Slayer's "Raining Blood" hit the speakers as the luchador emerges from backstage. His mask is obscured by the smoke billowing around him, and it is a blood-red spotlight that follows him to the ring as he hops over the top rope and paces back and forth, waiting impatiently for the match to begin.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from Tijuana, Mexico, weighing 142 pounds...he is El Demonio de Sangre!

Tori Montgomery: Like Snow, this is Demonio's first non-standard match this season; only Celeste Skye will have yet to be in a non-traditional match this season after this one is done.

Bob Sinclair: With no DQ's in this one, the size mismatch isn't as great. Demonio can always grab an equalizer or two if need be.

Frankie Garnett: And I sure hope the need arises! I want some violence tonight!

(06:51) El Demonio sizing up Judah Snow...and spits in his face! Judah Snow is wearing the Crimson Mask!

Frankie Garnett: And how is that supposed to help you win? A blind man can still stand up!

Bob Sinclair: The ref starts his count as Snow is on all fours, trying to clear his vision. He needs to watch out for the ropes, though!

Tori Montgomery: Ref is up to a count of four as Snow gets to a knee and stands...but he stumbles against the ropes and falls through—

Frankie Garnett: He got tied up! His ankle is caught between the bottom two ropes, and he's hanging upside down outside the ring!

Bob Sinclair: That's a stroke of bad luck for sure, but the ref restarts his count; he doesn't have much of a choice here.

Tori Montgomery: Snow's trying to get out of it, but being blinded by that crimson mist from Demonio isn't helping his cause at all!

Frankie Garnett: Yeah, face it, this one's over barring a miracle.

Bob Sinclair: Ref is up to seven...now eight, and Snow's foot finally comes loose from the ropes. Nine, can Snow make it up in time? Ten, and it's over! Snow got up a half second too late!

Amelia Williams: Here is your winner, at a time of seven minutes and four seconds...El Demonio de Sangre!

Tori Montgomery: That should go with an asterisk in the record book!

Frankie Garnett: What are we, baseball? This is The League, Tori! There are no asterisks in The League!

Bob Sinclair: Nonetheless, Demonio notches his fourth win of the season, and while an outside shot at best, his playoff hopes remain alive!

GAMMA DIVISION: William King (2-6, OVR 310) vs. The Nebraskan Beast (7-2, OVR 330)

The unexpected opening of Rammstein's "Pussy" is heard as the lights dim, and when the lyrics begin William King comes out in his black pleather ring gear and a hoodie, taking his time and circling the ring before rolling in, standing on the second rope and unzipping his hoodie to reveal the tanktop underneath, slipping the jacket off and throwing it at the announcers before dropping into the ring, leaning against the corner.

Amelia Williams: This is a Gamma Division bout scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Arkham, Massachusetts, weighing 260 pounds...William King!

Bob Sinclair: Well, this isn't what I expected to hear...

Frankie Garnett: The devil is this?

Tori Montgomery: Rammstein, Frankie. For heaven's sake, expand your horizons!

Frankie Garnett: And get ridiculed in public? No thank you!

"Animal I have Become" by Three Days Grace blares through the arena as a red spotlight shines on the entrance way. A pair of figures emerge from the back, a smaller one walking backward in order to keep eye contact with his charge. The pair of men successfully navigate their way to the ring, and with a point and shout through his handheld megaphone, the smaller of the two urges the big man to enter the ring and tear his opponent apart. With a scream that sounds more like a primal roar, the big man slides into the ring, ready to fight.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Jack Sandford, from deep in the mountains of Omaha, Nebraska, weighing 381 pounds...The Nebraskan Beast!

Bob Sinclair: The Beast's rookie season is being overshadowed a bit by Celeste Skye's, but he's still put together an impressive record entering this week as the Gamma Division leader.

Tori Montgomery: He can't rest on his laurels yet, though. Nuclear's still within striking distance.

Frankie Garnett: He won’t, Tori. Sandford won't let him while he maintains that death grip on the megaphone.

Tori Montgomery: Frankie, knock it off. There are lines you don't cross.

DELTA DIVISION: Amelia Midnight (6-3, OVR 330) vs. Connor Blackstone (4-5, OVR 319)

Dire Straits' "Money for Nothing" hits the speakers barely a moment before our next competitor emerges from backstage. He makes no gestures to the fans, nor does he seem to showboat, as he stalks towards the ring and enters from the near side. Still ignoring the crowd, he removes his ring jacket and stands patiently in the corner, waiting for the bell to sound.

Amelia Williams: The following contest is scheduled for one fall in the Delta Division! Introducing first, from San Jose, California, weighing 239 pounds..."All Business" Connor Blackstone!

Bob Sinclair: Connor has had an average rookie campaign, but he's still not out of the hunt in the Delta Division.

Tori Montgomery: That said, a win will be quite welcome to propel him back within shouting distance of the leaders.

Frankie Garnett: Earlier you said striking distance, now it's shouting distance. What's the difference?

Tori Montgomery: None, really.

Frankie Garnett: Then stick with one term!

Tori Montgomery: ....

The opening chords of Evanescence's "Tourniquet" blare through the arena as the lights fall to darkness. Black lights highlight the entrance, and a lone figure can be seen emerging from backstage, the white lines on her outfit glowing a violet shade in the light. As the refrain of the song hits, she takes off in a sprint, leaping up to slide under the bottom rope. As she slows to a stop, she hops onto her feet and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, throwing a hand in the air as the lights revert to normal.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from Denver, Colorado, weighing 128 pounds...Amelia Midnight!

Bob Sinclair: Midnight enters tonight tied record-wise with the Delta Division leader, but loses the head-to-head tiebreaker. She's going to need a better record outright to claim the divisional title this season.

Tori Montgomery: I wouldn't put it past her, but nonetheless she's currently one of the four wild cards who would make the postseason.

Frankie Garnett: She isn't getting past Sean. I can see it coming.

DELTA DIVISION: Diamond (2-6, OVR 308) vs. Sean Lyaskaris (6-3, OVR 328)

"Don't Cha" hits the arena to a loud reaction as The League's first female member emerges from backstage. There is a confident smirk on her face as she talks trash with some of the louder fans before sprinting into the ring by diving under the bottom rope. As she stands, she proceeds to the corner nearest the announce table, hands thrown in the air as the soaks in the crowd reaction while her manager stands outside, also applauding her client.

Amelia Williams: This is another Delta Division bout scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Jayde, from Aberdeen, Scotland, weighing 137 pounds...Diamond!

Bob Sinclair: Diamond's farewell campaign hasn't gone the way she planned it.

Tori Montgomery: To which I'm still not sure why this is the case.

Frankie Garnett: Maybe her heart's not into it anymore? Or maybe she's tired of guys fawning over her.

Tori Montgomery: Possibly....

The anticipation builds as the opening to Dream Theater's "Pull Me Under" hits the arena speakers, causing a few of the lights at the entryway to flash alternately. As the opening builds to a crescendo, he finally makes an appearance, sneering a bit at the assembled audience as he begins his stride to the ring. Focusing his attention on the ring itself, he climbs up the steps and ducks between the ropes, shedding his entrance jacket as he stonily gazes toward the center of the ring.

Amelia Williams: Her opponent, from Charlotte, North Carolina, by way of Osaka, Japan, weighing 230 pounds..."The Gaijin Crippler," Sean Lyaskaris!

Bob Sinclair: With Midnight's win earlier on, Sean needs to do the same if he wants to leave Germany as the Delta Division leader.

Frankie Garnett: Yeah, it's a sure thing. Always bet on—

Tori Montgomery: We get it, Frankie.

GAMMA DIVISION: Nuclear Templeton (6-3, OVR 321) vs. El Super Mantis (4-5, OVR 318)

Queen's "Hammer to Fall" hits the speakers to a decent ovation as Britain's greatest (and admittedly, only) Luchadore emerges from the back, with his manager in tow. Adjusting his mask one last time, he nods to his manager and dashes towards the ring, slowing as he climbs the steps and somersaulting over the top rope. Landing on his feet, he gives a heartly "Ole!" (complete with heavy British accent) to the crowd, who still soak it up and cheer as his manager finally makes it to ringside.

Amelia Williams: This is a Gamma Division contest scheduled for one fall! Already in the ring, accompanied to the ring by Lee Brae, from Mexico City, Mexico by way of Bristol, England, weighing 242 pounds...El Super Mantis!

Bob Sinclair: Mantis has an uphill climb to get into the playoffs. He can make a good start here with a win against a man ahead of him in the division.

Frankie Garnett: No chance. Calling death by LARIATO.

Tori Montgomery: Death, Frankie? Really?

Frankie Garnett: Ok, really really bad beating, happy now?

Billy Idol's "Shock to the System" hits the speakers, bringing the crowd to their feet in ovation as one of the League's more recognizable faces emerges from backstage and across the green-tinted stage. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp, Nuclear raises his arms in the air, causing twin mushroom clouds to explode on the entrance stage before he slides into the ring, ready to go.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, weighing 278 pounds...Nuclear Templeton!

Bob Sinclair: Nuclear was seen in the gym an hour after landing in Berlin; I think he's more determined than ever.

Frankie Garnett: More power to crush wills with a lariat, is all that is.

Tori Montgomery: You're obsessed with the lariat, aren't you?

Frankie Garnett: Mainly for how the Japanese call it.

Tori Montgomery: I see....

Bob Sinclair: Nuclear keeps pace with The Beast in the Gamma Division, while Mantis sees his postseason hopes take a decisive hit.

Tori Montgomery: He still has time, but he can't afford to drop any more matches like that.

BETA DIVISION: The Phoenix (4-4, OVR 315) vs. Wallbanger Jones (6-3, OVR 323)

(OOC Note: As I started the process of writing the commentary for this match, the radio in my office started playing a jazz version of "The Walls Came Tumbling Down." I can't make this stuff up!)

Within Temptation's "Stand My Ground" hits the arena speakers as the reigning League Champion emerges from the back, through a wall of flame pyro. His face gives no emotions away as he walks to the ring, stopping at the ring steps. A moment later, he slams both fists into the second-highest step before looking up the heavens with a cry of "For the Fallen" coming from his lips. With no further ado, he heads up the steps and steps between the ropes, ready to go to war once again. At ringside, Tori drops her headset to the table and walks towards his corner, her mental transition from color commentator to manager complete.

Amelia Williams: This bout is scheduled for one fall in the Beta Division! Introducing first, joined at ringside by Tori Montgomery, from the End of Nowhere, weighing 337 pounds...this is The Phoenix!

Bob Sinclair: The last time we had this match, it was hardcore rules and Phoenix did his best to keep Wallbanger away from the toys. This is a straight match this time; this has to be in Phoenix's favor.

Frankie Garnett: The record says otherwise, Bob. Wallbanger won their last one, he's got the better record; no way Phoenix wins this.

Disturbed's "Warrior" begins to blare from the house speakers, heralding our next combatant the ring. Garbed in dark biker leathers with a black bandana and a pair of shades, his look clearly screams "I will break you if you so much as look at me funny." Thus, it's not surprising that most of the fans keep their hands to themselves and settle for anonymous taunts as he strolls to the ring and ducks between the ropes, gold title belt secured snugly around his waist.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from the nearest road house, weighing 306 pounds, he is one-half of the reigning Tag Team Turmoil champions...Wallbanger Jones!

Frankie Garnett: Look at him, Bob. He looks ready to sweep the season series over tubby!

Bob Sinclair: You know Phoenix won't go down without a fight, Frankie.

Frankie Garnett: He will if you offer him food, from what I hear!

Bob Sinclair: Phoenix has himself between Banger and the nearest ropes, and that leg grapevine is on as well! Banger either has to roll both him and Phoenix to the side ropes or crawl the length of the ring with the added weight to break the hold!

Frankie Garnett: Come on, Wallbanger! There's no need to tap to this crappy move!

Bob Sinclair: Wallbanger's trying to move, but Phoenix isn't budging; he has no choice but to finally tap out! This one is over!

Amelia Williams: Here is your winner by submission, at a time of ten minutes and forty-six seconds...The Phoenix!

Frankie Garnett: Damn it all!

Bob Sinclair: Phoenix pulls out a much-needed win, giving himself a chance to...wait a moment, folks, it looks like we have something happening in the Commissioner's office! Do we have a camera back there?!

I Stand Alone

The camera cuts to the Commissioner's office, where all four of the wrestlers on a bye tonight are arguing about tag team choices. Finally, one voice can be heard clearly above the others.

Scott Stevens: Enough! I am The Scorpion, and I am God's Gift to Wrestling, and I should not, and will not, team with any of you fools!

As the argument begins again, a loud bang can be heard that silences everyone. As they split up, Colt Marshall can be seen standing at his desk with a yardstick slammed on the top of said desk.

Colt Marshall: You want to have it that way, Stevens? Fine. Instead of one match, you can wrestle three, if your body will let you. Instead of a tag match, you'll be running the gauntlet against Razor Sharp, Alex Kapranos, and Sakura Toyota. Good luck...you're going to need it.

The camera cuts back to ringside.

Frankie Garnett: That is unfair!

Tori Montgomery: I hate to say it, Frankie, but he asked for it. Now we'll see what he can do.

Bob Sinclair: Folks, that is coming up next, after this commercial break!

ALPHA DIVISION: Celeste Skye (8-0, OVR 332) vs. Eidenhoek (3-6, OVR 310)

Disturbed's "Indestructible" hits the arena as a pair of wildly different figures emerge from backstage. In front is a dwarf, dressed for combat in a wrestling singlet, and behind him is a giant of a man, seven-feet plus (and nearly as wide). The pair walk to the ring, and the smaller man climbs up the steps and enters the ring while the giant walks around the ring once, getting a view from all angles before settling in the corner of his charge.

Amelia Williams: This is our main event of the evening, scheduled for one fall in the Alpha Division! Already in the ring, being accompanied by Connor Reed, from Tanzania, weighing 102 pounds...Eidenhoek!

Tori Montgomery: I'll freely admit. Three wins is three more than I thought he'd get this season—

Frankie Garnett: Including one over your client, Tori!

Tori Montgomery: --But I see no scenario in which he wins tonight.

Bob Sinclair: Indeed, Tori. The deck is heavily stacked against Eidenhoek in this match.

The driving beat of Children of Bodom's "Warheart" precede our next competitor's entrance into the arena. She looks rather confident, as her uncle leans in to impart some words of wisdom. With a nod, she smiles and sprints towards the ring, leaping high enough to clear the bottom rope and tuck into a roll, popping to her feet to a decent ovation as she appeals to the fans, gold title belt in hand. At ringside, her uncle finally gets into position and watches from her corner, looking for as much exposure as he can in this instance.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, accompanied by Daichi Tsukuda, from Hollywood, California, weighing 132 pounds, she is one-half of the reigning Tag Team Turmoil champions...the undefeated Celeste Skye!

Frankie Garnett: 9-0, coming up tonight!

Bob Sinclair: Most people think the same thing, Frankie. We're about to find out.

Tori Montgomery: Celeste needs to not take this lightly. An upset could very well happen!

@CallOfKing I promised @CallOfQueen I'd do that if I ever wrestled in Germany. Didn't think it'd ever actually happen, but there you go.

@CallOfKing The other part of the deal is that when she graduates she'll valet for me dressed as Harley Quinn #WorthIt

@CallOfKing For the rest of the season, as my overdue tribute to Dave "Oderus Ungerus" Brockie...

@CallOfKing ...I'm going to be coming out to "Let Us Slay" by GWAR

@CallOfKing "They fear us more when they know that we don't lie" #ChaoticEvil

@CallOfKing I'm actually in a good mood despite another loss. Vicious brawl that was. That's what #Mayhem is all about.

@CallOfKing Also, note to self: Buy lots of instant noodles after the flight

<p>Three things to say at this point.</p><p> </p><p>

First, <strong>PAGES SHOULD BE UPDATED.</strong> You know the drill if you think there's a mistake somewhere.</p><p> </p><p>

For the next two points, I'm afraid I have to pull a Wade Barrett and deliver some bad news.</p><p> </p><p>

First on that list, the short-term. As some of you may know, I run shows and write matches primarily at work after I've done everything assigned to me (which usually gets done pretty quick). Next week, though, I'm being yanked to another shop to do data entry on their yearly physical inventory. This despite them having four people capable of doing said data entry and needing only two to do it. So because of that, next week's show is being delayed by a week, to be posted on April 22. I will edit the deadlines from the last show to reflect this change.</p><p> </p><p>

You may be asking why I don't run the show at home and do writing there as well. That brings me to the second point of "bad news." Not many people here are aware of it, but I'm currently working on relocating to another state. As such, I've been spending my evenings working on resumes, searching for jobs and searching for a place to live for myself, my significant other, and their child. Because of this relocation, Season Eight is being pushed back a few months. Instead of starting in early June as was planned, I have a tentative time frame of early September to restart The League after Season Seven. This will give me time to relocate, become adjusted to the new job and residence, and give me an idea of when I'd be free to do what I need to in order to run The League properly.</p><p> </p><p>

I still intend to run at least one more season, but as it stands right now this is how things are shaping up. I'll still keep the site going (since it's free and all), but I thought it only fair to give an update as to what's to come.</p>

<p>Week 12 Pre-Week Interview</p><p> </p><p>

April 14, 2014</p><p> </p><p>

Fukuoka, Japan - Celeste Skye and her uncle, Daichi Tsukuda, have just arrived at Fukuoka Airport after a long flight from Berlin. As League reporter Sophia Russell goes to meet them, a large crowd of people, including several family members and news crews rushed past her to greet the two. Sophia could only watch as the reporters gathered around Celeste and began their own interview with the undefeated star.</p><p> </p><p>

After nearly twenty minutes of questions from the reporters, the crowd dispersed, leaving Celeste and Daichi with only family members surrounding them. Seeing her chance, Sophia makes her way to the group.</p><p> </p><p>

Sophia Russell: Good morning you two. Celeste, congrats on last week's win over Eidenhoek. how did you feel about the match?</p><p> </p><p>

Celeste Skye: Well, first off, I want to thank Eidenhoek for the good match. He gave me some trouble early on in the match before I was able to turn the tide and win. I think that he is hitting his stride and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins a few more matches this season. </p><p> </p><p>

SR: With the win last week, you are now 3 1/2 matches ahead of Deathseed5 for the division title and 1 1/2 ahead of The Nebraskan Beast for the best overall record with six matches to go. Next week, you have to face Scott Stevens who is currently in the last wildcard spot and is four matches back How important is this match and what strategies will you use against him?</p><p> </p><p>

CS: At this time of the year, every match is important. I would be lying to you if I told you there were. </p><p> </p><p>

As for Scott Stevens, he is not someone who you should overlook. He has shown why he is one of the toughest opponents to face in the League with his aggressive style of wrestling. We will spend the week training and looking at all of his matches and are hopeful that we can find a strategy that will work and lead to a victory.</p><p> </p><p>

SR: One more question before I let you and Daichi go. I noticed before you arrived that your family from Japan showed up to greet you two. How does it feel to return to this kind of homecoming?</p><p> </p><p>

CS: I'm overwhelmed by all of this to be honest. All of my Japanese cousins, as well as my aunts, uncles and grandparents drove or flew from all over Japan to see me perform. For that, I want to thank them for their support and I want to do them proudly. According to my cousin, they will be at all of my matches in Japan, so it seems that I will have a group of people to cheer me on during our stay in Japan.</p><p> </p><p>

SR: Thank again Celeste for meeting me for this interview and good luck in your match against Stevens next week.</p><p> </p><p>

CS: Thanks.</p>
