Week 4 Backstage Interview

As Celeste Skye and her uncle head backstage after the match, they were greeted by a backstage reporter who asked the two a few questions.

BR: First, Celeste, congratulations on the win tonight to remain undefeated.

CS: Thank you.

BR: How does it feel to be one of the last two undefeated wrestlers at this point in the season.

CS: First off, I want to thank Eidenhoek for the match. He threw nearly everything that he had at me in that match. Had it not been for a few reversals down the stretch, who knows how the match would have ended.

As far as the season is concerned, while I'm happy to be one of the last two undefeated, I feel that I could have done a few things better during my previous matches. Nevertheless, I am still proud of what I have accomplished so far this season and I hope to continue it after the break.

BR: Moving on to another topic, there were reports of you and your family at the Super Bowl watching the game. How was the experience?

CS: Despite the blowout, it was a great experience. Seeing it live with my family, there is almost nothing like it.

BR: According to a few rumors, you have been chosen to do a voice acting role in a few animated series. What can you tell me and those here and around the world about it?

CS: Well, I am going to be on a new series that will air on Toonami later in the year called Justice, which is an animated series about 5 rookie heroes who must work together to protect their city (and the world) from villainy.

I play the role of Celestia, a heroine who moved to the city from Japan to escape her past, as well as her nemesis who will not stop until she is killed. Although she is the most experienced hero on the team, she has spent most of her career solo and must adapt to working with others in order to make it in this city. That is all that I can tell you now without spoiling too much.

BR: Now moving to some breaking news that just came down from the commissioner, apparently, you and those who were scheduled off will take part in a tag match next week in Washington. What is your reaction to the news?

CS: Well, I'm a little disappointed, but hey, he is the boss. I'll prepare as I always do before a match and we'll go from there.

BR: Thank you Celeste. Once again, congrats on the big win as well as getting your first voice acting roll. We'll see you next week in DC.

The pair walk to the ring, and the smaller man climbs up the steps and enters the ring while the giant walks around the ring once, getting a view from all angles before settling in the corner of his charge. Amelia Williams: Introducing first, being accompanied by Connor Reed, from Tanzania, weighing 102 pounds...Eidenhoek! Bob Sinclair: Good evening, everyone, and welcome to week five of The League! We start tonight with a rather unique style of match. Frankie Garnett: Unique? I think the idea is kind of preposterous, myself! Who needs breaks in a wrestling match besides useless fat pieces of wasted space? Tori Montgomery: This style of match is likely not going to benefit Eidenhoek. He has enough trouble with dealing damage as it is, and here his opponent gets to recover every five minutes? It's going to be a long night for him.
