<p>Week 3 Backstage Interview</p><p> </p><p>

As Celeste Skye and her uncle head backstage after the match, they were greeted by a backstage reporter who asked the two a few questions.</p><p> </p><p>

BR: First, Celeste, congratulations on the big win against the Season 5 League Champion The Phoenix to move to 3-0 in your early career. How does it feel to win such a huge match against him?</p><p> </p><p>

CS: First off, I want to thank The Phoenix for such an awesome match. To go against someone that you've watched and met since you were 11 and face him in the ring was an experience that I would not soon forget. </p><p> </p><p>

As for the match, like I told you last week, The Phoenix came prepared like he always does. He managed to avoid many of my attacks by using his great technical background and several years of wrestling experience. To be honest, the match could have went either way, but somehow I was able to take advantage and come away with the win.</p><p> </p><p>

BR: I saw that after the match, Phoenix raised your hand in the air as a sign of respect. How surprised were you about what he did following the match?</p><p> </p><p>

CS: To be honest, I felt honored to be recognized like that. I remembered when I first arrived at The League, he was among the first people to welcome me into The League. He also was one of the few wrestlers that did not look down at me about my backgrounds or aspirations. Instead, he encouraged me to follow my dreams and wished me luck this season and beyond, excluding our match of course.</p><p> </p><p>

BR: You mentioned earlier that you met the Phoenix before you came to The League. Do you still remember the details of that meeting?</p><p> </p><p>

CS: I remember it like it was yesterday. On my eleventh birthday, my dad and uncle took me, my two siblings, and our cousin to a wrestling show. It was my first wrestling event and I was excited to see all of the different wrestlers. After the matches finished up, my dad took us to some of the wrestlers to get autographs. When it became my turn, I asked to get his autograph. He smiled and asked me for my book, which I gave him. After I got it back, I looked at his signature and saw the following (she pulls out a worn autograph book and turned to Phoenix's signature):</p><p> </p><p>

"Never give up of your dreams, kid."</p><p> </p><p>

BR: Thanks for telling our audience that wonderful story. Now Celeste, shifting to next week's match with Eidenhoek, one of two wrestlers who have yet to win a League match, does the fact that he's winless change your strategies on how you and your uncle approach this match?</p><p> </p><p>

CS: If there is anything that I have learned while watching and participating in The League, it's that anyone can be beaten on any given night. Eidenhoek may have had some bad luck in his matches, but he will still be a challenge, no matter what his record is. As usual, my uncle and I will look over his matches and prepare a strategy around what he does and figure out a way to get the victory.</p><p> </p><p>
