CPB:
WELCOME EVERYBODY, TO THE FIRST EPISODE OF GREY DOG SOFTWARE DYNASTY TV!! I am your host CPB, some of you may know me and some may not but this show isn’t about me. This show is about my guests, and tonight I have a good group of guests. Our first guest tonight is a GDS LEGEND Angeldelayette, we will also see another good writer as RVDJRV will be on the show and finally our final guest of the night will be The Final Countdown. So let’s get started right now, let me introduce my first guest ever. You know him as the writer of WWE 2014 The Game is only Beginning and Bragging Rights: WCW VS WWF and you know him as the man who runs DOTM. He is a well-respected member of Grey Dog Software, please join me in welcoming Angeldelayette.

(Audience claps as Angel makes his way onto the stage.)

CPB
- Glad to have you Angel

Angeldelayette
- First of all, it is an honor to be the first guest on Dynasty TV. I am someone who has been around since the days of EWR, Promotion Wars and TNM7 battles. Thank you for having me.

CPB
- So Angel, You've been around for some time, and you've seen great writers on GDS Forums. In your opinion who is the best current writer here on GDS?

Angeldelayette
- There is a lot of amazing current writers here on the GDS forums. I have seen a lot of great writers come and go in this forum over the years. As far as the current crop of writers goes, I may have to give the edge to Beejus right now. His writing is definitely engaging and something that I make sure that I get caught up on just because of how much I enjoy his work.

CPB
- Yeah I'd have to agree his shows get me personally engaged in the stories and get me interested in the product. Now onto something only you could answer, WWE 2014, first off I’d like to say I personally like some of the angles you've done so far, with Victoria Joining Steph and Rusev/Kozlov. But what do you think of the direction you've taken with WWE so far?

Angeldelayette
- He definitely has a knack for story-telling and changing things up from real life. I like that he simply did not have Hulk Hogan come in as the good guy face that he was when he really entered WCW.

As far as my own diary goes, thank you for your compliments on some of the stories I have told. For the most part, I am enjoying the direction that I have taken the WWE in for this diary. I have plans that go all the way to WrestleMania the next year. If there was one thing I might have changed, it would be my usual issue of hiring everyone in sight. I do have a tendency to create a large roster where some can get lost in the mid-card shuffle. That would probably be the one thing I would change on my own end.

CPB
- Yeah a lot of people seem to have that problem. They just sign all the good Free Agents and end up with a huge roster...

Angel, right now I wanna ask you a question that I've thought about for some time now. The End Of the Year Awards. Everyone loves your Monthly Award polls, but will we get the End Of the Year Awards for 2014? If so what awards can we expect to be given out?

Angeldelayette
- Since I have already signed such a huge roster, I decided to bring back the brand split, which will occur following SummerSlam. The brand split will give me the ability to use a lot more of the midcard guys in higher profile spots.

*
laughing
* Yeah, it seems like the End of Year Awards have come up some here lately. I am glad that everyone enjoys the monthly awards. I cannot say what we will all be up to toward the end of the year. But if I am around and there's a want for it, I'll be happy to get a crew together to work on the end of year awards. I'd say it would need to start around November or December.

As far as the awards that can be expected, the usual awards will be there. There's the Cornellverse Diary of the Year, the Mod Diary of the Year, Favorite Wrestler of the Year. One of my favorites that we have had in years past was called the Rocky Maivia Award. What this award highlighted was a wrestler who you don't care for in real life but his portrayal in a diary made you care about him.

CPB
- The brand split years back in the mid 2000's were always good in my opinion. Always loved the Smackdown VS Raw feud.

As for the End of the Year awards, I personally love the concept of it and as I've said before if you need help with it just tell me and I'll do whatever you need. Also now that you mention the Rocky Maivia Award I have another question for you. If the award was given out right at this moment who would you give it to?

Angeldelayette
- The brand split years in the WWE were always good because it gave the undercard and midcard a lot more focus. Not to mention that it gives a sense of competition between the two brands. I am going to do what the WWE did not do properly. That is to keep the two brands as separate entities.

When we get closer, I will definitely look to create a small group to focus on the End of the Year Awards. As far as the Rocky Maivia Award goes as of right now, that's a tough one. I really don't have an answer at the moment. It's something I would definitely have to take a long time to think about it.

CPB
- That's fair. Final Question before we head to commercial. If you had to pick five dynasties, which dynasties would be your top five?

Angeldelayette
- My Top five dynasties. There's a few that immediately spring to mind. Though I will be honest, a lot of them happened a long while ago and I am not including my own diaries. These are in no order. And there are plenty that I have could have included in this list.

Battle lines have been drawn. What if the NWA struck first....

D.O.T.T. WCW Black Saturday

WCW 1998: A prequel to "Death of WCW"

SWF: Where Men Become LEGENDS

DOA: The Evolution of GREED

And here are my top five for my own diaries.

WWE 2014: The Game Is Only The Beginning

D.O.T.T. MACW The Return

NWA Faces Off With WWF

USPW - What? This Again?

WWE 2011: Bragging Rights!

CPB
- Some very good dynasties you just mentioned Angel. It's time to say goodbye for now unfortunately, well Angel thanks for joining us, we really appreciate it and it’s been a blast talking with you.

Angeldelayette
: Thank you very much for having me. I hope that this is something that can continue. And if I can help you, please let me know.

When we comeback we see a tag line on the bottom of the screen,
BREAKING NEWS!!

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQjg_qtlTCLodjfPFnkDX832XkZljtXAxe8OPv0P_-f6oWxVJ6v

CPB
- It has been confirmed that former WWF, WCW, and TNA Booker/Writer Vince Russo will be having a TEW Dynasty of his own. This major news came on September 8th when THEVinceRusso made a post about how Vince and his partner who actually made the post (Chris). A little snippet from the post says “I signed up for this forum noticing Adam Ryland himself posted here and was hoping somehow, someway, I could get someone's attention. -- Long story short, Vince did a live stream with NewLegacyINC (not sure if you're familiar with them) a couple of weeks ago, and they played EWR. Neither Vince or myself had ever heard of EWR or TEW until then.” He would eventually call for a TEW Veteran to be a possible co-host or just help them along with TEW and or EWR, because as he wrote both he (Chris) and Vince are” TEW Virgins.” If you’d like to see where it is said Vince will be doing this dynasty then go to his website PyroandBallyhoo (dotcom). I couldn’t believe it when I first saw the post, but honestly this gonna be awesome having an actually wrestling personality, especially booker make a Dynasty. It’ll be an exciting piece and I can’t wait for it personally.

CPB
- Now let’s move on after that big news update to the next interview of the show. He is the writer of WWF 94: A New Generation, please welcome RVDJRV.

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xtNQch2ELoU/VBDwAxTU-wI/AAAAAAAABNk/EybRuJq7MQo/s1600/_Unused-Male-50.jpg

RVDJRV
: Thanks for having me

CPB
: So right now everyone knows you have a 1994 WWF Dynasty going on. Can you give any insight on some of the signings you've made?

RVDJRV: Well there are some big names coming but right now I'm trying my best to keep the big ones under wraps heading to Summerslam but on the next episode of Superstars we have 4 different talents set to make their debuts.

CPB
: Can't wait to see who they and how they are incorporated into the WWF universe. Speaking of Debuts or comebacks, on your last episode of Raw we saw the return of Curt Hennig, but to the announce booth. Is there anyway Mr. Perfect will be making an in-ring appearance?

RVDJRV
: Well as much as we would love to have brought back both MR Perfect and Rick Rude directly back into the ring both are currently dealing with long term injuries that will keep them out of the squared circle for at least the next year.

CPB
: Eww, that's too bad. Mr. Perfect could be a great addition to the WWF Roster right off the bat.

RVDJRV
: He most certainly could but with the long term direction of the company being set before he signed on the dotted line he would have relegated to programs around the middle of the card and that is not were someone of his caliber should be in my opinion.

CPB
: Well good luck to you with the Curt Hennig situation. Now onto to the final topic we have for you today, rivalries in other dynasties. Right now on GDS there are many dynasties that have good storylines going on, what storyline in what dynasty do you enjoy reading the most?

RVDJRV
: Well I know it hasn’t been the most active recently but alot of my all-time favorite stuff has come out of TFC's WWF 87 Golden Era dynasty I've been reading that since the start and everything from Ted Dibiase's rise and subsequent year long reign to Ricky Steamboat and Jake Roberts and also the rides of The undertaker and Bret have just been phenomenal. But recently I have been enjoying Beejus' WCW 94 War Of The Thrones Dynasty I am particularly enthralled by Brian Pillman and the new NWO but how can you go wrong with KOW.

CPB
: Great Choices. Well that's all the time we have for you RVDJRV, thank you for joining us on our debut episode.

RVDJRV
: It was my pleasure.

CPB
: After we comeback from break you will hear my Recommended Dynasty to go read and also I will interview the final guest of the night, The Final Countdown.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fQBdMZ3ihOo/VA4ocR8QuFI/AAAAAAAABNU/6vwHR0uzjD4/s1600/Dynasty%2BTV.png

CPB
- Welcome back to Dynasty TV I am CPB. Now of all the dynasties on Grey Dog Software I would think most people have many dynasties they enjoys from maybe the Real World, Cornelverse, or maybe the Thunderverse. This segment is to highlight one specific dynasty and maybe show you the reader a dynasty you may enjoy reading. So right now lets get started.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CPB
- There are many top level dynasties and right now we’ll look at one of my favorites, and that’s ‘’WCW War of Thrones” by Beejus. Now this dynasty is possibly is I’m not mistaking the longest running dynasty on Greydog Software right now. Beejus has made some great stories and decisions since starting this dynasty such as, having Hulk Hogan come right in as a heel and form the KoW who’s mission is to basically take over WCW. We’ve seen Sting and Lex Luger leading WCW pretty much against the KoW and have seen a Horsemen that is helping make new stars in Owen Hart and Eddy Guerrero. And the newest faction that has hit WCW is none other then the N-W-O. As Brian Pillman, Scott Hall, (WWF former Main Eventer) Jeff Jarrett and Vader who were fed up with being held down joined forces in an attempt to gain the spot they think they deserve. Also off screen you can’t overlook his very well put together WCW Hotline, with “Monday Night Waste”, “Professors History Lesson”, and much more news articles. Overall, I’d have to say War Of Thrones has become the premeire dynasty on Greydog Software. I’d like to say to Beejus right now that ‘you’ve done a great job on War of Thrones and keep up the compelling stories and overall great shows’, great job.

When we comeback we talk with our final guest The Final Countdown, don’t go away.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CPB
- Welcome back to the debut episode of dynasty TV I am your host CPB. If you are just joining us you’ve missed quite an eventful show, as we’ve heard from the Legend Angeldelayette, we heard big news on Vince Russo, and much more so if you missed any of that (look up) you can see if one of your friend DVRed it or catch it on Youtube, Facebook or any other social media outlet.

But luckily if you have missed the earlier part of the show you are here to watch the final part where I interview a known member of GDS, The Final Countdown.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zUv4gaUD2eE/U4vEFNbL-aI/AAAAAAAAADM/ssMIev0YIIk/s1600/!+Generic+38.jpg

The Final Countdown
- Thank you, happy to participate.

CPB
- So you've been around the block for a while here on GDS, and you've seen many dynasties come and go. What has been your favorite to read personally?

The Final Countdown-
Wow, there really are too many to mention. I could probably rattle off 50 dynasties that hooked me just off the top of my head, but to be somewhat brief, I'll name my all-time favorite and my currently ongoing favorite.

My all-time favorite dynasty, or one story told across two dynasties to be more accurate, is Wildfire1324's NWA: A Return to the Glory and Beyond the Glory. The latter seems to have disappeared from the board, which is a huge shame, but the former can still be read.

I don't think I can adequately describe how much I enjoyed this. I anticipated each PPV just as I did every real PPV when I was a kid, and I loved the storylines, shocking twists and characters. Heck, he made me care about Matt Wiese, aka Horshu/Luther Reigns! This dynasty was my biggest inspiration for buying TEW08 and trying a dynasty of my own. I encourage anyone who hasn't already read it to do so. (And if/when we run another Hall of Fame balloting, it's past time we get Wildfire in!)

In the present, I am addicted to WCW: War of the Thrones by Beejus. This shouldn't need any introduction to anyone who follows the real world segment of our little community. I think Brian Pillman as written by Beejus may be the best character I've ever read on this board. The continuing evolution of his character is amazing!

CPB
- Yea I'd have to agree that Beejus' War of Thrones is a great dynasty. It's one of my favorites and his new dynasty WWF:Glass Shatters should also be a very good dynasty knowing Beejus.

Now onto the next question, on TEW there are many alternate universes, Real World, C-Verse, Thunder Verse and GDS Verse. Which universe do you personally enjoy reading about and which one do you enjoy writing about? Why?

The Final Countdown-
There are a handful of C-Verse works that I've followed in the past, but I'm very much in the Real World camp. I think part of it is that I struggle to immerse myself in the fictional databases; their history, characters, etc. It's more appealing to me to read or write about an alternate take on characters I already know. I think it's great that there are so many different options for TEW fans, though. There's no wrong way to have fun with this game!

CPB-
Finally before we have to go I have one more question. Can you give us any inside news on WCW Let there be a War?

The Final Countdown-
Hmm...without giving away too much, I can reveal that we haven't heard the last about Hulk Hogan accidentally hitting Sting in the face with a steel pipe at Fall Brawl. Also, the next battle in the Monday Night War will feature one of the competitors in the taped Raw main event jumping ship and appearing live on Nitro on the same night!

CPB
- That should be great Final, but Im sorry that’s all the time we have for this week. Please fans come join us next week when we will have new guests, some news, as we review Greydog Dynasties.

(The show fades to black)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

O.O.C- Thanks for reading I’d like to thank, Angeldelayette, RVDJRV, and The Final Countdown for letting me interview them for this debut episode. Also if any one has any suggestions, compliments or complaints please post them down below. I hope everyone enjoyed the show and hope you keep reading all the great dynasties GDS has to offer. Thanks.

I got to say when I read about the idea in another thread I wasn't sure about it but it was a fun read that. Definitely something I'll keep my eye out for.

Although the questions about actual dairies are great and should probably make up the bulk of the show I'd be interest to see more about the process itself. I.E How people write their shows up, what's their favorite part of it all, what would they want to change about their past efforts etc. I might be completely alone in thinking this though.

P.S I'm not so active on here lately (in fact I think this is my first post in a couple of months) but I'd be happy to be a guest if ever you need one.

I was just writing the same thing. ;)

I'd love to see the interviews go even more in-depth. The writer's process. Where they get their inspiration. The elements of their diary they're most proud of. The difficulties and/or missteps. Advice for aspiring diary writers. I really like the project. I just want more.

And this interview with Self would be great, I'd venture.

Book it.

With people on here talking about wanting more on the writing process, I thought that I might give a little bit on my writing process here since I was already interviewed. I take a lot of inspiration from the real world. I follow a lot of angles as they go along or went along in real life. I make slight changes but a lot of it is the armchair booking. Then I also use the tv tropes website and things from tv shows and movies in my writing.

As far as the actual writing process, I start with a skeleton. I do all my formatting first. So I have my pictures, my fonts, my italics all done first and foremost. Then I go in and fill out the actual wording. I, personally, look at the sizes of the paragraphs that I do. If I feel it is too small then I will look to add in more. There is never too large for me. There is definitely too small, though. If anyone has any specific questions, I would be very happy to answer them.

I would like to welcome everybody to the second episode of the
GDS Dynasty
Show, I am your host
CPB
and we have a great show for you today. We will hear from the man behind
WCW 94 War of Thrones
and
WWF Glass Shatters
(1997)
Beejus
, also we will hear from
RKOwnage
as we talk about his dynasties and prefrences, and we will be debuting a new segment this show called
Mod Maker’s Corner
and our first guest will be the person who made my favorite mod
“1983: War of The Territories”
Alvararus
. So stay tuned for that, but right now let me introduce my first guest of the show, from
WWE 2004 “The Hangover’
’ he is
RKOwnage
.

(RKOwnage)

(RKOwnage walks out and sits down in a nice chair to the left of CPB’s desk)

CPB
: Thank you RKO for joining us here on our second episode RKOwnage

RKOwnage
: Hey CPB, thanks for having me. Being one of the original few writers chosen to be interviewed on here is an honor for sure.

CPB
: We are very glad to have you apart of our early footprint on the GDS forums no doubt about it. But now lets jump right into the, as tabloids call it 'juicy' questions. First off, I've always wondered about what made you call your WWE 2004 dynasty subtitled 'The Hangover'. Can you give me some insight on what got you to call it that?

RKOwnage
: No one's actually ever asked me that before despite it being a really ambiguous name. Basically, I'd summarize by saying 'The Hangover' is a term that stuck out to me after the Attitude Era. 2004 was still a time that was close enough to Attitude that it still retained many of its elements, but the product wasn't quite there in terms of edginess and it didn't have that X-factor that the Attitude Era has. It's a time where the thriving wrestling business is in the rear view mirror and WWE was still trying to transition past (hence, hangover) those past successes into a newer and more modern exciting product.

CPB
: Very interesting and well thought out name choice, and has more meaning to it than some others that may not go as in-depth. Since you bought up the Attitude Era I gotta ask about your pre-Attitude Era dynasty called 'WWF In Your House' which attaches to the basic Pay-Per View name WWF had used for many big shows from about 94-98. What made you not only want to start a dynasty as WWF in 96 but also open up a second dynasty?

RKOwnage
: I actually have a WWF '94 co-op game going with my brother that I had as my first diary (Titled 'Growing Pains') which eventually fizzled out because of our differing schedules, and I'm a big fan of playing that middle-era transitional period where there were a lot of different ways to go. In '96, EVERYTHING happened. So many debuts like Vader, Mankind, Pillman, Austin, Rock, and many others and I'd love to work with a lot of those guys at the very start and see how I could make or break their careers. It's probably THE perfect starting point for creativity post-Hulkamania using WWF.

As for opening up a second dynasty, I'm 9 months through The Hangover and I felt myself over-thinking and over-analyzing some storylines and my writing to the point where my thought process was starting to stagnate. I decided to open up a quick little side diary with a fun era because I just needed to take my brain away from 2004. It's a nice, quick, easy read with a product that I feel can be encapsulated with short, summary-style results and not sacrifice quality.

CPB
: Yeah I know that feeling of being totally encased by one dynasty and just kind of getting a feeling that its getting boring, which is why I think you did the right thing opening another quick dynasty instead of making a mistake I did where I opened a dynasty and tried to make that a full force kind of dynasty along with another full force one instead of just making the second one I made a quick side on.

RKOwnage
: Oh, I know exactly what you mean. The Hangover was originally a side project from Growing Pains, but it evolved and took over as the original one died out. I decided to try a different approach this time and it seems to be working thus far.

CPB
: Very interesting, I didn't know Hangover was originally a side dynasty. I mean it's obviously evolved and has evolved into one of the top Real World Dynasties on GDS right now in my opinion. What's your favorite Real World Dynasty right now?

RKOwnage
: I feel as if it's too easy to say this as it just won a share of Mod DotM for the millionth time, but Beejus's WCW '94-95 has got to be the one. I'm a big sucker for realism and Beejus provides that to a T, with the Hotline and with his portrayals of characters. I think half the battle of a real world dynasty is making it appropriate for the time period and using your own booking and writing skills to adapt to that time period and change it slowly as it goes along. His 1995 feels much different from his 1994, but not enough where it feels like a completely different era, and that is exactly how wrestling progresses in real life to me. Even the Attitude Era came about over the course of years and gimmicks and controversy, starting (arguably) with Goldust in '95 and '96. He just does everything in a way where I could see his shows being presented on actual WCW TV in the mid-nineties.

I hope no one else is offended -- Lloyd, michgcs, angeldelayette, The Final Countdown, Frootloop, TheBigBad1013, and many others have really good diaries going as well. I read so many of them that it's tough for me to comment/predict on all of them, but there's a lot of talented writers on the forums. I also hope to add Vince Russo to this list at some point as well
:D
.

CPB
: Haha, yeah it'd be very cool to see a Vince Russo Dynasty. His twist, turns, and swerves as a booker have made him synonymous with those three terms. He is a really interesting booker in wrestling, very colorful mind, but in my opinion he isn't number one. Who is your kind of role model booker or number one favorite booker?

RKOwnage
: In case you couldn't tell from my choice of dynasty that I follow/write, I grew up with the WWE style of sports entertainment, and I think my favorite booker would have to be a mixture of those who contributed to WWE's style over the years. I'm big on balance and even though I love some McMahon, Russo, Bischoff, Cornette, Heyman, etc ideas and concepts, I really think that everyone needs a filter. Checks and balances (to an extent, not like the team of writers WWE has right now) create good booking. I don't have one standout booker all-time for me, but I try to appreciate the positives of a variety of different sources and I feel that helps me in my own work.

CPB
: Well unfortunately RKO we are running amount of time to talk which is upsetting cause I was enjoying this alot. But one final question before we go, can you give us any insider news on your Hangover or In Your House Dynasty? (Any signings, incidents, wars, etc.)

RKOwnage
: This has been a great interview and I'm always welcome to questions from you or from any readers, just PM me! I always appreciate questions and comments, both positive and negative. I'm always looking to get better.

As for insider news, in '96 there's a heavy bidding war for a guy that's very popular in the RW mods on this forum, stay tuned to see if I'm able to offer him a deal where he'll be up north and not in WCW! It's time for payback after Luger and Savage.

As for The Hangover, you can expect MAJOR changes on both RAW and SmackDown before the dawn of 2005. Where and when those changes will occur, you'll have to read and find out
;)

Thanks for having me CPB, it was a pleasure.

CPB
: Thanks for joining me RKO glad to have had you.

Now when we comeback we will have mod-maker
Alavarsus
on the show, so don’t go away.

Right now though without further delay let me introduce my next guest to the stage, the mod-maker behind
1983: ‘War of the Territories’
Alvarasus
.

(Note: This was just a simple question and answer interview)

CPB
: The 1983 War of the Territories mod has had great feedback, what is your opinion of the mod and the fans of the mod?

Alvarasus
: When the mod came out, it wasn't that well received. It was one of the first mods to come out for TEW 2013. It was rushed because my youngest was in the hospital and my niece had just died. I had lot on my plate at the time. I had update for ready to go but again things happened. Computer crashed and no game. So when I finally got my new computer, I was able to overhaul most of the mod. So with new version of the mod I decided to change the name. This new version has been praised and I am very proud of it. I thank everyone who has downloaded it and have praised it. Also all the guys who went through and told me the mistakes I made. I am happy and I am glad that people are enjoying the mod as much as I do.

CPB
: What made you want to make the War of Territories mod?

Alvarasus
: TGA and not being able to use Magnum as an wrestler. I first modded TGA by Genadi to October of 1986. Then I began playing DOTT and kept reading messages from people when is DOTT coming out. So after searching threads where D. Boon's Ghost had posted. About he wasn't working on TEW anymore, he was more focused on WS series. I started building the mod by using TGA and DOTT. Plus David Von Erich I was intrigued what could of been? Another reason look roster MACW Piper, Funks, Briscoes, Flair, Valentine, and Steamboat. This was maybe one of the best rosters of an any promotion.

CPB
: What mod, if any, will be the next mod you will produce?

Alvarasus
: 1985 mod was originally going to be done by me. Because of the computer and other things including this giant hole in my gut that said the 1983 mod was more important. Because it felt at the time incomplete. Having Matt Shannon doing It makes me feel good that it's in capable hands. Though I must say their really not that many eras of wrestling not being covered. We have alot of great modmakers right now, with some great mods. Mammoth is doing the 1970 mod which I can't wait for, plus 1985 mod by Matt. So no mods in the future for me besides fine tuning 1983 mod.

CPB
: Thanks for joining me Alvarasus

Interesting and Fun dynasties are just extremely enjoyable to follow and this segment is made to let you guys know about a dynasty you may have not seen on the boards. This dynasty has unexpectantly got me interested in it and I say unexpectantly since I usually don’t read C-Verse Dynasties. The dynasty is written by
SeanMcFly
and is caled
SWF 79 and Onward
Dynasty. In this dynasty we take a look at the C-Verse old school with Rip Chord as the long reigning World Champion of SWF and former World Champion in SWF Micky Starr and Sam Strong getting into a feud with alot more going on with the Streets, Flames, etc. I also must praise SeanMcFly’s enjoyable Pro Wrestling Illustrated Write-ups as well and I hope this dynasty is one that you guys check out.

Coming up next we interview the man behind
War Of Thrones
and
Glass Shatters
,
Beejus
is next!!

Beejus
: Aw, you're too kind, man. I'm happy to be here.

CPB
: First off I'd like to say that you have done great with War of Thrones and Glass Shatters. They both have been intriguing write ups.

Beejus
: Thank you! I have always enjoyed writing. I've been doing it for various e-feds for a long time. I have a lot of fun writing these games, letting people see what I'm thinking when I book.

CPB
: What goes into your writing processes for both War of Thrones and Glass Shatters?

Beejus
: A lot of it is just taking what is known, and turning it on its ear. Sure, everyone knows the nWo as it really was. Everyone knows how the Austin Era really was. But what if it wasn't that way? How would everyone react? How would the characters deal with their problems? I feel the best way to do things is taking what we all know, and flipping it realistically into an alternate world where we know what can happen, but we also have no idea what's going on. It seems a lot of other people really enjoy my methods. Like how I've written "The Loose Cannon". It's all so familiar, because it's based upon what he really did in history. But at the same time it's new and fresh, because while it's based on this world, the motivations are completely different.

CPB
: Twisting some sort of real world aspect when making a dynasty always does help make it unique. Speaking of whats going on in War of Thrones, everyone loves the nWo, KoW, and pretty much all the stories you got going on. But I've heard some rumors about you possibly ending War of Thrones around late 95, 96. Is this true?

Beejus
: Don't you just hate it when you get so far into reading a really good dynasty, and then it just stops updating completely after a few months? Isn't that a little frustrating? It's like if you were reading a really good book, but at a certain point, all the rest of the pages are blank. That analogy in mind, it is something I've thought on a lot. When I began the game, I made it with a specific beginning, middle, and end, like a good story should be. But really, that's such a far off point that in my eyes, it isn't worth a lot of thought on; and as such a far off point, I don't even know if I'll end it there or just keep it going longer. I have a few dates in mind for that, but it's very open in my mind. I will say that if it ends in 96, it won't be at the beginning of that year or anything, so everyone can expect quite a bit more there than what rumor may have foretold.

CPB
: As they say "You can hear rumors, but you can't know them." With that said now lets move to a topic that is more about you personally. Your preference of wrestling. Do you enjoy the 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's or do you like a specific genre like Hardcore, Old School, etc.

Beejus
: I grew up on this stuff, man. If I were to narrow it down, I'd have to say that I enjoy the style of the 90's the best. The 90's were such a strange time in wrestling, as it looked like it was trying to find an identity. The Golden Age was over, and both of the big two were desperate to stand out. The wrestling action was great, the storylines ranged somewhere from great to hiliariously bad, and toward the end of the year, a direction was finally found in Attitude. It really was the best years of the industry up to and including this time.

CPB
: The Attitude Era was always a very interesting and exciting time in wrestling with WCW and WWF at each others necks every Monday. Speaking of your favorite time period now lets jump into a different favorite, what dynasty on GDS is your favorite?

Beejus
: Oh, I want to be angeldelayette when I grow up - hahaha! In all seriousness, I feel like I read so many different ones, it's so hard to narrow it down to one. At this particular time, I would probably have to call my favorites out as The Final Countdown's Let There Be War: A WCW Tale, and angeldelayette's WWE 2014: The Game is Only the Beginning. Those two have been writing for a long time, and they definitely know how to be captivating without any gimmicks, bells, or whistles. Some of my other favorites are WWF 1995: Fighting Back by packerman120, and WCW: Quest for the Lost Glory by BigBad1013.

CPB
: Nice choices some good dynasties there. Finally before we gotta go I have one last question. Which dynasty do you enjoy more, Glass Shatters or War of Thrones?

Beejus
: I love them both, like they're my babies. I may have begun updating a little more slowly with War of the Thrones ever since starting Glass Shatters, but only because Glass is new, fresh, and a bit more exciting. But War will always be my "firstborn" so to speak, and like a favorite food or drink, I will go back to it every time.

CPB
: Ok, well Beejus thank you very much for joining me on the GDS Dynasty Show and I hope you enjoyed yourself

Beejus
: I did indeed, thank you for having me.

Thanks again for choosing to interview me CPB! This was another good show, some cool insight into two vastly different writers (well, a writer and a mod maker) besides myself. I enjoyed reading both of the other ones and they really make me sound like I know nothing in comparison :p

Can't wait for the next one.

GDS Dynasty Show Guests

The guests for the GDS Dynasty Show episode three have been chosen and they are as followed. First we'll have writer of WWF 95: Fighting Back and WWF 85: Birth of Wrestlemania Packerman120 as we talk about his dynasties and how he transfers from writing about WWF in 95 too writing about them in 85. The next guest will be the second guest of the Mod-Maker segment as we get to hear from the maker of Rising Storms 1985 Matt Shannon, as we take a look at his process of making what is a highly liked mod by many of the TEW players. And finally the Main Event guest of the night will be my first C-Verse dynasty guest, he is the writer of Supreme Wrestling Federation 1979 and Onward, he is SeanMcFly. I am so happy I got my first C-Verse writer on her so we get the variety from real-world and C-Verse and I can't wait to interview Sean. So don't miss it, the GDS Dynasty Show will be a great one.

I do not use a template, a word document, or Fiction Plus. I simply write them in the forum reply board. I make sure to preview my post plenty to see if my show is to my pleasure. What I usually do is check my other shows to see and make sure I am formatting the show correctly, as one small error could throw the reader off. I can also say I am very picky with what I post. I usually draft up a show in about two hours. Then, I spend at least 1 hour looking it over and making technical improvements. It's definitely a commitment, but I love doing it.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> My first response to that is, writing your show in the Reply board is very risqué in my opinion. Considering your internet could just stop working or you could accidentally X out of the application and lose all your work since there's no save option. Has that ever concerned you?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Packerman120: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">I will say that has happened to me before. However, the chances of Xing out of the window are small for me since I usually don't go near that area. A problem I do encounter is backspacing, which will take me back to the previous page. But, I figured out that I can click the forward button and my work will be there. However, yes, I have lost matches and small portions of shows to accidentally exiting. But, in my opinion, it is still the best way to write and put together shows for my needs.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">What exactly are your needs?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Packerman120: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">Well, I want simplicity. I want to be able to set up a segment and see it and make minor adjustments, which the save button allows me to do. Also, the convenient quote and font option, where I can simply click a button and it sets up a font for me is very nice to have. For me, I've tried all the options. Fiction Plus I could not figure out. Templates don't work for me since I often vary in the way I make my shows, as I end up editing the way I set certain things up quite frequently. Word works for me, but it just did not feel right. Basically, I love the reply board's simple functionality and it works great for me, no complaints.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">That's very understandable as I myself have had my annoyances with some of those applications you named as well. Now let's switch gears though to a question I love to ask my guests just to see their preferences. What dynasties are your favorite to read on GDS?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Packerman120: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">This is a tough question for me. I like and enjoy so many dynasties on the forums that it is hard to choose. However, there are certain dynasties I go to first. Such examples are Lloyd's WWE diary, Beejus's two diaries, and all of angeldelayette's dynasties. Those have to be my favorites that I come back to time and time again.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> That's the same with me in the Beejus department as I always love reading something new for War of Thrones and Glass Shatters. I also do enjoy reading up on my Angeldelayette as well, but I've never really checked out Lloyd's dynasty though but I will now via your recommendation. Now let's move on to your dynasties, WWF 95 Fighting Back and WWF 85 Birth of WrestleMania. First off what drew you into those two years to get you to write a dynasty in them?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Packerman120:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Well, I was inspired to write for those two periods because of two completely separate things. What attracted me to 95 is that I got to rebuild a struggling company and lead them to victory of WCW. WWF in 95 also was an interesting time period for them. They had lost Hogan, Savage, all to the enemy. They needed to make a stand. The title of my dynasty is Fighting Back, which is exactly what WWF were doing at this time in history. For 1985, it was completely different. I loved the idea of booking the first WrestleMania. There are just so many options I can take for it. Do I verge from real life, or do I stay similar? I also love the idea of building up popular guys. Look at Rick Rude, Jake Roberts (Who will play a big role in 85). They were barely anything in the mid 1980's. But I as the booker can build them up. That kind of thing is what the real appeal is. Also, I can say on regard on whether this will be similar or not, that it won’t. I have big changes planned for the WWF in 1985, which I look forward to unraveling and revealing to my audience.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Very interesting, I can't wait to see what those plans are and how they pan out. But now back to the overall perspective of everything. With having two dynasties comes a lot of time writing for both companies, does that overwhelm you at all?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Packerman120: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">Well, when I started The Birth of WrestleMania, I had been on some sort of hiatus from 95. As of right now, I only am actively writing 85. But soon, that will change as I plan on bringing 95 and the Ultimate Donuts back after Super Card in 85. When I do write for both, yes, it will overwhelm me, but I welcome the challenge.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB: </span></strong></em></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">My time is running out with you but before we end this enjoyable interview let me just ask you one last question. Birth of WrestleMania & Fighting Back, both very good dynasties, but which do you enjoy more, or enjoy writing for more?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Packerman120:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Well CPB, I would have to say that I enjoy writing 1985 more. It's more of a time period where the style of the promos and style of matches fit more to my style of writing. I enjoy writing Hulk Hogan promos, or putting a ton of emphasis when a wrestler hits a big move, I enjoy that. However, 95 is fun to write too. 95 is my diary where I can do whatever I want. I can book crazy things, like Mabel being the world champ, without criticism, because it's Russo. However, plain and simple, 1985 is more fun to write for me.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">Well that is very understandable. Now, the Risky Business mod had a lot of build up over the year period it was made in and now that it has been released has seen many good reviews. In your honest opinion how do you think the mod came out in the end?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Matt Shannon:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> I just started a game save as the WWF, and so far I am having fun, but most importantly, I hope the community has fun playing as whoever they choose to play as. Franticloser has inspired me to possibly start up another save as the AWA after reading what he's been booking in the "What's going on in your game?" thread. There are still kinks to be worked out, and I don't know if it will ever achieve perfection or be as good as Rising Storms, Clash of the Titans, Ruthless Aggression and many other great mods that have come before Risky Business, but I do hope everyone has fun playing it.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> In a mod perfection is just basically the community loving your mod and if you achieved that then Perfection can be achieved with no doubt in my mind. But you brought up that so many great mods came before Risky Business can you tell us which of those mods you personally enjoy the most?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Matt Shannon:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> That's really tough because they're all very enjoyable. I will say two of my longest saves were both in Rising Storms and Clash of the Titans before Justtxyank and Hive respectively updated their mods.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Fair enough, now before we have to say goodbye I have one last question. What is in the future for Matt Shannon? A new mod, maybe a dynasty, what?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Matt Shannon:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Next up on the docket will be releasing 2.1 of Risky Business with some tweaks that have been made once I figure out what to do with the Media Outlet issues. After that, I plan on starting work on a new 1989 mod, The Mega Powers Explode, which will start in January 1989, and both Macho Man and Hulk Hogan are still babyfaces. Hopefully now that I've done the hard work on all the workers from Risky Business, this next mod won't take as long!</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">Wow that's big news there, a new mod in the works, and maybe after you’re done making the 1989 mod we can have you back on the show again. Once the formatting is all organized and the right order of matches & angles is in place, I start attacking the actual writing part of things. I've never been super good with promos & skits because dialogue isn't really my thing, but I feel that as I've been writing them more and more I've started to get a better idea of how to write them in a more realistic way.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">I agree with that, as I have enjoyed the promos and skits you've put on the shows such as the Rip Chord-Sam Keith one's on recent shows.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SeanMcFly:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> The Rip Chord / Sam Keith relationship is a really fun one to write for, especially because of the way things turn out in the modern day CornellVerse. Being that Sam Keith ends up running MAW in the current day world, it felt natural to put the two of them in a storyline together to really establish their relationship and why things would end up the way they have.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">It does definitely make sense. Speaking current day and retro CornellVerse your dynasty takes place in 1979, but there isn't currently a 1979 mod available for download. Is there any possiblity you may put the 1979 mod up for others to use in the TEW Mod Index?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SeanMcFly:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Right, haha, the 70's mod actually isn't my own brainchild as much as I wish it was. It was actually originally put together by Mr T Jobs to Me and his team back in either TEW2008 or TEW2010. I actually got a converted copy of it from another user and although it isn't my mod, if I got permission from Mr T and the user I received the mod from, then I would have no problem uploading it for other users.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">That's great news, I would love to be able to go into the 1970's and possibly see if I can get a company to conquer SWF before it becomes a superpower. And also I just chuckled a bit when you said you had to get permission from "Mr. T". But enough with Mr. T, Now I kind of wonder this about a lot of C-Verse writers and wanted to get your take on this, what drew you into the C-Verse so much that you’re able to get inside the characters head per-say to act like them in an angle or match?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SeanMcFly: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">The thing I love about the CornellVerse is that it's almost a completely blank slate, character-wise that is. I mean yeah you have the real-life counterparts like Richard Eisen & Vince McMahon and a few others, but it's not hard to take any given character and send them in any direction you want. I remember reading Eisen-Verse's last diary with the SWF and seeing his take on Steve Frehley, and then thinking all the way back to BigPapa's SWF diary back in TEW2008 and comparing the differences between the two. Real world wrestlers are on television already so you know how they would talk and act, and to me that puts a limit on your writing because you're always thinking about "would they say this" or "is this something they would do". I guess what I'm trying to say is that, it's easy to get into the character's head because when you think about it, all of these characters can be something brand new every game.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">I never really looked at it in that perspective, thinking it'd be easier to write for the C-Verse wrestlers since you don't necessarily know how they'd talk or react but neither does anyone else. So it's open to a lot of interpretation. Another thing I usually think about with C-Verse and Real-World writers for that matter is which do they enjoy playing more of the C-Verse or the Real-World. So which do you enjoy playing, not writing?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SeanMcFly:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> I find that I've always been interested in playing out the real world and taking my favorite real life wrestlers from a lower-midcard expendable kind of guy to a world champion, but at the end of the day, I find it troublesome to go through more than six months of play time in an real world game because in the real world anything could happen tomorrow or next week, and you don't know what next big superstar will debut and give you a chance at building him up. With the Cornellverse, wrestlers appear as the game goes on and you have new characters to work with on a month to month basis, and I think that's why I like it more. Another plus is that I find it a little odd to be signing major names from TNA or other big companies because it's just not realistic to me. I guess realism is still quite important to me when it comes to video games, haha.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">Haha, I'm the same way I just don't find it realistic signing like Bobby Roode, Aj Styles, Chris Hero, etc as WWE because I don't think they'd actually do that in real-life, thats why I stick to retro real-world mods. Speaking of Real-Life/World do you read any real-world mods? If so which?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SeanMcFly:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> I seldom read real world dynasties unless they really do something to grab my attention. There's very few C-Verse diaries that I won't at least give a shot, but a lot of the real world diaries seem to have the same start, and that's gets a little boring to me. Of course, I have read the very popular ones because they're probably popular for a reason, and projects like those from Keefmoon, Tristram, Nevermore, BoomKing and The Final Countdown will always be on my reading list.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB:</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Finally my final question is, how long can all of the readers of Supreme Wrestling Federation '79 and Onward expect to be reading it? Meaning do you have a set length for it?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SeanMcFly: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">Well, the original goal when I was playing the game as a save was to reach the year 2014 and see where I ended up. I don't have a set length of the diary, so realistically if I have the energy to continue putting shows out to keep the readers interested then I see no reason to end it at any point. Ideally I want to at least keep writing into the 90s because that's when the characters that CornellVerse fans know and love start to pop up and become relevant. Yes, there are pros to having a definite ending to your story, and having a set plan that will get you to that designated ending, but we're playing a game that is so random in it's events that you constantly have to be re-evaluating where you're going and how you'll get there. There was actually a moment in my SWF game that I can think back to and I still kick myself for it, I had actually bought out CICW, a Canadian promotion that had one of my favorite characters, Luther DurVey, under contract, and DurVey was only available in Canada so by taking over CICW, I had him in my hands. But I didn't, I misunderstood what I was clicking in my take-over screen and set them to a developmental promotion, instead of poaching DurVey and letting the promotion go under. Long story short, I don't have DurVey and now he's exclusive to another Canadian promotion. Things happen quick in this game and you have to re-evaluate, and that's why I elect to never have a set ending point in my games because who knows when the next event that will spark the writing bug will happen?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB: </span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">Very true Sean, but Sean unfortunately we are out of time, (Fans) remember to check out Supreme Wrestling Federation 79 and Onward it's a great read. <p>Another great read. Want to thank Packerman120 for the mention <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> and also, I can completely see the benefits for writing shows in the reply board!! Just clicking the B instead of typing the Bold formatting stuff would be incredibly handy... But I like using word... I imagine a way to avoid internet problems or accidentally closing the page would be to preview what you have, and when you're happy, select all and copy and paste into word so it's saved and can't be lost <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Loved the interview man!</p><p> </p><p>

I also agreed with SeanMcFly about real world diaries that seem to start in the same way... Sign everyone for no apparent reason... I must admit that mine falls into that trap too... but I must say that over time, it has developed into something different (better). My general rule with new diaries is to have a look, but wait until it's developed a bit before I jump on board properly <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

So yeh, ignore the beginning of my diary <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> lol</p>

Just now saw that I was mentioned in RKOwnage's interview in Episode 2, so thanks for that. It's cool to even be mentioned in something like this, as I feel I get very little attention in general around here (deservedly so, probably) so it's awesome that someone thinks I'm worth an honorable mention type of thing.
