The more people say they can't play 2013 anymore is driving me further. ;)

Will definitely start an AWF dynasty in 2016, but until then, I'm 5 months in and hitting January 2015.

  • A large number of gimmicks changed on one Shockwave in December in a wild bus flip to freshen up the roster. One of the biggest changes has been to Timothy Hawk, whom, apparently still reeling from being hit with a foreign object by Drake Richards at The Hollywood Horror Show, now incorrectly thinks that he is an MMA bad ass. Hawk also immediately dumped Lois Paige in a bit of backstage drama, while Paige’s other former boyfriend Garrett South became engaged to Claudia Oliveira (AWF starlet Claudia).

  • Marshal Law was repackaged as a babyface trucker called Trucker Marts.

  • Immortal Warrior, also smarting from a sneak attack by Jean-Claude Giroux, now legitimately thinks that he’s a detective and has been renamed Detective Warrior and is obsessed with discovering the reason behind Marshal Law's "disappearance."

  • Theo Barkley’s switch to an extremist gimmick got the biggest pop, while fans hated Omri Stone repackaged as an adult film star.

  • Mo Fury debuted a rapper gimmick which went over well, Drake Richards switched up to arrogant heel, Core went from demon to deadman, and Buff Norton got a big response for his new ladies man gimmick.

  • After months of video promos hyping the debut of Nick Hart, he debuted with a white knight gimmick and is now Sir Nick.

  • Towerblock is now a biker. A giant biker. And his manager Adrienne has switched from diva to babe.

  • Vincent I. Parker is now working the no gimmick needed gimmick.

  • Silva Dolla is now a bitter veteran, upset about constantly being overlooked for title shots because of the long Drake Richards and Timothy Hawk feud.

  • Garrett South was identified as a steroids user and was given a stern warning.

  • With Big Bubba’s talent trade in AWF complete, AWF brokered a new loan with CWT. The deal was another 3-match agreement in which AWF sent Klaxon & $15,000 in exchange for The Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider performed the same duties Big Bubba did, except he put over midcard faces who were in need of wins.

  • AWF signed a deal with You-Select PPV to show PPVs in Canada. AWF now has PPV deals with Patriot Vision (USA) and AztecVision PPV (Mexico) in addition to the new deal with You-Select PPV.

  • Joe Havanna and Theo Barkley were discovered to have great chemistry so they formed the Fear Factory tag team.

  • Towerblock and Vincent I. Parker have good chemistry and are now Onslaught.

  • Trucker Marts and Jack America have good chemistry and are now The Trailblazers.

  • PWI’s Scott Hart and Eli Morton refused to negotiate with AWF when their contracts came up for renewal, saying that AWF wasn’t big enough for them.

  • Soda and his sister Sissy have no chemistry. At a pre-show match on Shockwave he said he’d be better off without Sissy as his manager so Sissy is going to manage Buzz and still be at ringside for Deuces Wild matches, but will no longer be officially managing Soda.

  • AWF signed Arttu Jensen from DRAGON and HONOUR to a 1-year deal at $4,500/month. Jensen was one-half of the reigning HONOUR Tag Team champions The European Connection with D’Anton Joubert when he was signed.

  • AWF re-signed Towerblock to a 1-year deal at $20,560/month (was $19,118).

  • AWF re-signed Megan for 6-months at $5,240/month (was $4,843).

  • AWF re-signed Referee Shane Tedeschi for 3-years at $4,180/month (was $3,363).

  • AWF advanced to a National-level promotion at the end of December.

Having a lot of fun with IWJ save:

Currently the promotion revolves around three stables:

Outside Interference (Aydan Farrell/Des Miller/Ice Simmons/Jesus Rio) have been the premier gaijins of IWJ but they are now losing some of the steam. Des Miller is the current Heavyweight champion having won it from Honda but it was the source of tension within the stable as Farrell was unhappy at Miller getting a shot and he himself challenged Miller a couple of times for the title but having tasted defeat on both occassions, he is currently supporting the stable. The tag champs Ice Simmons & Jesus Rio, who had just lost the tag titles to Masked Mayhem are the backbone of the Tag division.

Cult of the Masks (Tigre de Plata/Bloodus Draconia/Air Xaymaca) : Masked Mayhem(Tigre de Plata/Bloodus Draconia) are the current tag champions with Tigre de Plata additionally also winning the Openweight title from Ice Simmons and they have quite literally taken the competition by storm over the last 18 months and have become tour regulars. But their only gripe was that they have been refused for a shot at the Heavyweight Championship due to the weight restriction rules of the championship and so they brought in Air Xaymaca who would qualify and thus was born Cult of the Masks. With AX becoming more and more impressive with each victory, it is not long before he does get a shot at Des Miller.

Team Europe (B J Powers/Tucker Neville Thomas): The Explosive Powers tag team from UK have been impressing the IWJ fans for quite some time now and they have been chasing the tag titles for some time but they are also looking for a third member who could bring singles glory to the team.

With an aim to reduce the authority of all the gaijin stables running amok, Yukio Kisanuki who lost his Openweight title got together with the new tag team on the block Dajiro Atsuka & Danger Asahara and brought in the "Master of Armbars" Akihiro Soga to form The Force. It remains to be seen whether they can be successful or not.

The only dilemma i have is who do bring in as a singles star for Team Europe?? Any ideas ??

Going to start over with AWF when the 2016 full version is out. My storyline is that Chase Paige has purchased the company and wants to bring the Paige name back to wrestling... even without his Father's blessing. He believes that he can combine the Sports Entertainment that is so popular with real, athletic wrestling matches that allow workers to display their talents with longer time limits.

One of the ways Paige is going to do this is by an infusion of some younger talent and opening a Developmental territory.

I'm getting rid of the Women's division because I just don't like it, but will keep a few as managers and personalities.

Some thoughts on how 2016 might effect all things Thunderverse while I wait to play it on 2016.

- Figurehead system is going to be a disaster for PWI surely? Curtis isn't a brilliant Face, Scott Hart isn't charismatic, Sean Riley isn't popular enough yet I'd have thought but has to be the obvious option to push into the role. AWF on the other hand are going to run away with it with Hawk as their figurehead. National battles should massively favour the AWF as well, PWI may just have become a really good challenge to keep hold of top spot, build some stars with Star Quality and find a good Figurehead.

- Those new systems should also ensure that guys like Terry Thunder are going to be more useful in Vice than Richie Santana for example is likely to be.

- LWA, T-ONE, GBWF other big winners in terms of figureheads with Smith, Calderon and Mackenzie

- Unsurprisingly no option for regional titles in alliances, so I assume the AI could be taking titles that look like they should be staying in one region all over the country once Vice comes out. Shame.

- If used Company HOFs are going to be great to see used, love the history that comes through when playing the Thunderverse, this can only enrich it.

Any other thoughts on how 2016 is going to change things for the Thunderverse?

Really interested to get a shot at AWF in the new game when the mod is coverted.

My storyline is that Chase Paige has talk his Father into giving his his inheritance early, in the form of purchasing AWF, giving him $25 million to work with, and a 1 hour Graveyard timeslot on his network. His 1 demand is that Dax Deekins will be kept on to make sure things are running "smoothly".

Chase's ideas are to infuse some new, young talent into the roster and move the women's division to more of a supporting role. Some older stars may be offered a job with the new developmental program or given a pick slip.

Chase's dad died some time ago.... like, before the start of the Platinum data...
