SHOWDOWN 1.3

Live from Fellowship Hall, Montana, North West (300)

Announce Team

Gerry Lofton - Barry Baugh

Barry: Welcome to SWA. Another new area has been invaded by us as Fellowship Hall will be our home for tonight.

Gerry: Yes, warm welcome to all the fellows out there, forgive the pun.

Barry: Come on Gerry, you are not some 10 year old kid.

Gerry: Oh shut up, Barry. When will you loosen up?? Why are you so damn serious all the time.

Amidst their bickering, the familiar tune of Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin marks the arrival of our Chief Visionary.

http://i57.tinypic.com/15my4g1.jpg

Ares: Welcome everyone to yet another power packed edition of Showdown. We have the tag titles defended tonight, Cross takes on Alvaro Buey , Clancey gets his first single match since leading a group of Down-n-Outers and………..

And again just like last month, Kings by Run DMC interrupts Ares.

http://i60.tinypic.com/4lmzuw.jpg

Edward: And once again our so called big boss, Mr. Hellcrawler starts spewing his sh*t at the start of the show. What do you gain by doing this Ares??

Ares: (in an angry tone) And what do you gain by interrupting me every month?? Edward, you call yourself King but you are just a little prick who is always looking to pick up a fight. I defeated you last month and I will not waste any further time on a disgusting dung beetle like you.

Edward: You dare to call me a dung beetle?? Last month was a fluke Ares, just a fluke , if you are man enough you will take me this month.

A sound of a hooter interrupts the proceedings and we see PLAYA emerge on the ramp.

http://i61.tinypic.com/155lbif.jpg

He is holding a set of placards and he raises one.

PLAYA: PLEASE SHUT UP YOU MORONS!!

Edward: How dare……

Another hooter stops Edward.

PLAYA: LET ME FINISH YOU JACKASS!!

Crowd cheers at that sign.

PLAYA: I HAVE SEEN ENOUGH

Another placard, PLAYA: I DON’T CARE ABOUT ANYBODY,

PLAYA: I AM THE BEST AND I WILL PROVE THAT

Ares: And how will you do that you smartass??

PLAYA: (one final placard) BEATING BOTH OF YOUR SORRY ASSES TONIGHT.

Ares: I have heard enough!! You both are going to rue messing with me.

Grade: 46

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Barry: The match has been signed, sealed and delivered. What a battle that is going to be. I don’t understand what is the problem of everyone trying to mess up with the boss man.

Gerry: I can’t be happier. I have never liked this guy. And I hope, he gets his comeuppance tonight.

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

We go straight away to our 1st match.

http://i59.tinypic.com/2mzjfx1.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/2zzswty.jpghttp://i58.tinypic.com/30l2q0x.jpg

Mark King V/s. Waylon Siren

- Waylon was no match for the skills of King and he tried in vain to use his power but every time Waylon went for a big slam, Mark countered with some or the other submission move.

- This also marked the end of this extremely short match as Waylong went for a backbody drop but Mark countered with a reverse neckbreaker before locking in his STF and Waylon had nowhere to go but tap out.

Winner: Mark King

Grade: 24

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Barry: Mark King goes 4-0. Who will hand the 1st defeat to King??

Gerry: A food for thought there Barry. But up next, Nadeau, the Down-N-Out leader gets his first singles match in 2015.

Clancey is seen talking to his team mates in backstage.

http://i60.tinypic.com/2djvu5v.jpg

Clancey: Listen!! Both of you!!! We are here to prove our doubters wrong, not to do some silly stunts and be the butt of jokes. You have failed to impress so far. You need to be more proactive, more hungry for victory. Watch my match next and learn how to snatch a victory.

Grade: 25

http://i60.tinypic.com/2djvu5v.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/2zzswty.jpghttp://i58.tinypic.com/t7k5c9.jpg

Clancey Nadeau V/s. Dusty Rockford

- Nadeau was determined to show his sidekicks how to go about in a wrestling match and he did just that taking advantage of Rockford’s long hair to swing him around before hitting a sick looking DDT.

- Rockford tried to counter attack through his running moves like a running bulldog, suicide dive and a running dropkick but each time Nadeau kicked out.

- Nadeau brought his own offense up to an altogether different level hitting swift and hard kicks and a springboard DDT floored Dusty. A Crash Landing(Swanton Bomb) later, pinfall was academic and Clancey notched up 1st points for himself and his stable.

Winner: Clancey Nadeau

Grade: 33

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Gerry: Nadeau does it. He picks the 1st points of this season for his team. He is finally showing the wrestling prowess that his father used to had.

Barry: Yes, of course the multiple time champion, the great Robert Nadeau is whom we are talking about and it remains to be seen whether his son, Clancey can match his accomplishments or not.

After that fan endorsement of Robert Nadeau, we see Alvaro Buey smirking loud and has a mic in his hand.

http://i59.tinypic.com/29ymeft.jpg

Alvaro: Johnny Cross, the breakout star of SWA, the multi-time SWA champion, and also now the lone survivor of the 1st ever historic Seattle Gang Mayhem match. You have many feathers in your cap, you are a legend in these circles, but you must remember one thing, you are old news.

Alvaro: You are trying to live on your past accomplishments, Cross but listen up one thing, we are the Icons of this century, and we have come to conquer all the big names that ply their trade in this part of the world and you, are my conquest tonight.

Grade: 36

http://i59.tinypic.com/29ymeft.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/2zzswty.jpghttp://i58.tinypic.com/2hoa5cg.jpg

Alvaro Buey III V/s. Johnny Cross

- The words of Alvaro had annoyed Cross and he looked to avenge that by flooring him with right hands as soon as Alvaro entered the ring.

- Alvaro went outside looking to stall the momentum of Cross but Cross followed him outside and kept on punching and kicking him.

- An attempt at Irish whip on the guard rails was reversed by Alvaro and instead he whipped Cross on the rails. Thereafter, he came back driving his back repeatedly on the rail and then delivering a back body drop on the bare floor.

- An attempt at Buey Bomb(Cradle DDT) was successful but Cross managed a rope break. A second attemot was countered and Cross hit his famed CS2(Cross Side Slam) for the win.

Winner: Johnny Cross

Grade: 36

The Court V/s. Dreamscape

- Dreamscape continued their crazy antics before the start of the match spraying their opponents with water before punching the water gun in their face.

- Singling out Impact, both Frightening and Scaremare executed their moves like the springboard placha, a diving head block and a full body splash.

- Brady soon saved his partner from the beating when he DDT’ed Frightening before delivering a pumphandle slam.

- Soon, the match broke down into chaos and Taylor took advantage when he hit Scaremare with the ringside bell without referee seeing it and followed it up with The Verdict(full nelson suplex) to take the win.

Winner: The Court (Brady Taylor via pinfall on Scaremare)

Grade: 48

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Barry:Brady Taylor picks up the win for his team and Johnny Cross shuts up Alvaro for the time being but up next the triple threat that was announced at the start of the night.

Gerry: Yes, yes, I am hopeful that tonight will be the night where that dictator will finally taste defeat.

Barry:Not a chance, Gerry. Ares is too good a wrestler to lose against these two phonies.

http://i57.tinypic.com/15my4g1.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/2zzswty.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/4lmzuw.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/2zzswty.jpghttp://i61.tinypic.com/155lbif.jpg

Ares V/s. King Edward V/s. PLAYA

- Edward and PLAYA worked in tandem as they both wanted to eliminate the biggest threat i.e Ares. A series of suplex from both of them kept Ares on ground and further legdrops and splashes reduced Ares to a punching bag.

- Things got tense when both tried to go for the pin after hitting their signature moves, King Edward hit his Windsor Castle (Pedigree) but he was dragged off the pinfall attempt by PLAYA and when PLAYA hit his GANGSTA(Scissors Kick), he was clotheslined from behind by Edward.

- With a fierce standoff between the two, it was evident that the working arrangement had come off and this was turning into a battle.

- With punches, kicks , suplexes, slams these two were hitting each other with all their force. Ares soon caught his senses back and at an opportune moment, delivered Ares-plex to PLAYA for the win.

Winner: Ares (via pinfall on PLAYA)

Grade: 41

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Barry:Ares is still standing, what do you have to say to that Gerry??

Gerry: Oh, only these two morons could have worked together rather than letting their ego come in between, the result would have been different.

Barry:You just can’t accept the superiority of Ares, can’t you?? Anyways up next, the Tag title match and this one will be explosive.

A short video plays reminding us of the history of these two teams, especially focusing on their exploits in recent months, the debut of The Icons, there explosive promo, their title win with La Borinqua playing in the background.

SWA Seattle Tag Championship: The Icons v/s Varsity Club

- The Icons had come with a gameplan and they executed that to perfection isolating Titan and keeping him at their corner. Though Marcus tried to break in the ring, he was stopped by the referee which gave The Icons some extra seconds to inflict more damage to Titan.

- An attempt at Full of Pride (diamond cutter) by Azaria was countered by Titan and he made a fast tag to Marcus who came in and cleaned house.

- Azaria was hammered from pillar to post by Marcus and even Alex ate an Olympic Slam when he tried to intervene.

- A change in gameplan was executed by Azaria and Vidal when they kept Marcus out of the match by drilling him outside the ring.

- Azaria kept Marcus from reaching the ring while Alex kept on hitting Titan with big right hands, chops and shoulder blocks before executing his No More Pride (piledriver) for the win.

Winner: The Icons (Alex Vidal via pinfall on Titan Lynn)

SHOWDOWN 1.4

Live from Salem Lot, Oregon, North West (300)

Announce Team

http://i57.tinypic.com/epes8i.jpghttp://i58.tinypic.com/35ldk4n.jpg

Gerry Lofton - Barry Baugh

Barry: Salem Lot is our home for this night as we are back with our monthly wrestlefest, Showdown.

Gerry: Yes Barry and as usual, Ares will stink up the proceedings once again.

Barry: You are overdoing it every month, Gerry.

Gerry: You will see one day I was right about Ares.

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

As in every month, Stairway to Heaven blares through the speakers.

http://i57.tinypic.com/15my4g1.jpg

Ares: Welcome Salem to your favorite wrestling promotion, SWA.

For the first time, huge cheers erupt throughout the crowd and the usual boos that accompany the arrival of Ares is not heard.

Ares: Now, I am present tonight for a very important announcement. You see, SWA has been creating waves and getting support throughout USA. So, we have decided to commemorate this movement. There will be two additional special shows which will be held every year. One in August and other being the last event of the year, being the season finale. And so, this August begins the first ever Meltdown and you will love the show that we will put on for the same.

Huge cheers underlined that announcement but soon that turn into boos when Kings by Run DMC announced the entry of King Edward but this time he was not alone. He was accompanied by PLAYA.

http://i60.tinypic.com/4lmzuw.jpghttp://i61.tinypic.com/155lbif.jpg

King Edward: Well, stop your foul mouth there, Mr. Visionary. We are frankly getting frustrated of your big talks and empty visions. I am here to stake my claim to beat your sorry a$$ once again.

PLAYA: (holding a placard) ME TOO.

Ares: Frankly, even I am getting tired of hearing you crypussies every time I walk in the ring. What’s with that?? Don’t you get tired??

La Borinqua plays signaling yet another entrant to this conversation, Alvaro Buey III.

Alvaro: Gracias. Mr. Ares, you are right. This two have been giving headaches to everyone and nobody has stopped them yet except you. I want to change that fact. I want to accompany you in teaching these two gatecrashers a lesson that they will never forget but you need to give me a push for a title match ahead of the others.

Ares: Good idea, Alvaro. I like it.

Edward: The more the better. Alvaro, you will feel sorry that you meddled in my affairs after tonight.

Ares: Alvaro/Ares vs. King Edward/PLAYA and if Alvaro pins, he gets another shot at SWA Championship.

Grade: 38

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Barry: Holy mackerel, what a match!! Can Alvaro earn his shot??

Gerry: Wow, I do hope Ares gets his backside kicked hard.

Mark King vs. James Chung

- Chung tried to steer the match in top gear from the beginning, hitting blindingly fast kicks and top rope somersaults to upset Mark and in this process even hit his Chung-DT but eventually Mark kicked out.

- A series of springboard planchas from all four corners knocked Mark a peg or two down but a second attempt at Chung-DT was foiled by Mark when he pushed James Chung and on rebound from the rope delivered a delayed spinebuster.

- Soon, the dreaded STF locked in and there was no escape for Chung as he tapped out.

Winner: Mark King

Grade: 23

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Barry: 5-0 and still running. Who’s next for the Submission Monster??

Gerry: Mark leaving behind a trail of broken bodies every month. I really don’t know how this will stop??

We straight away go to a gym where we see Down-N-Outers doing exercise.

Clancey: Last month, I showed you how to earn a victory, how to eke out a win, how to redeem yourself in front of crowds. Did you learn??

Eric/Cyber (collectively): Yes, Clancey.

Clancey: Ok, tonight I don’t need any mistakes. I have showed the way and you need to follow that. Cyber, you will not break into any dance moves, rather you will focus on wrestling and winning. Crystal clear??

Cyber: Yes, Clancey.

Clancey: Great. Off we go now.

Grade: 30

Dreamscape vs. Down-N-Out(Cyber/Clancey Nadeau)

- The crazy duo, i.e Dreamscape came to the ring jumping on a trampoline and the crowd ate their antics all up giving them thunderous ovation. Cyber almost broke a disco move before facing a stern look from Nadeau and he subdued himself.

- Clancey did all the heavy lifting knocking both Frightening and Scaremare off the perch and then a suicide dive on them took them out. After dragging Frightening to the ring, he delivered a rasping roundhouse kick and while he was going for Crash Landing, he was clubbed from behind by Scaremare and dragged onto the bare ground outside where he was battered repeatedly on the steel steps.

- With Cyber alone with Frightening, he tried to finish him off but Frightening stopped him and broke into a dance and encouraged Cyber to do the same. With crowd egging them on, Cyber started his own disco routine matching every beat with Frightening and this went on, when finally Cyber accelerated his dance and Frightening just stopped.

- With Cyber in a world of his own, Frightening low blowed him before a fast roll up earned him a pin.

Winner: Dreamscape (Frightening via pinfall on Cyber)

Grade: 35

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Barry: Cyber gets tricked. Oh, so naïve. How will Nadeau survive with this idiots??

Gerry: Ha Ha. That was so funny. So, even Crazy S.O.B’s open their account.

The Icons are seeing drinking diet cokes and generally in a good mood.

Alvaro: This is life. The premier stable of SWA. The tag champions. Grade A wrestlers. Star treatment. What more do we want??

Alex: Domination. We will be the most dominant group in entire US. For long, Americans have underestimated us Puerto Ricans but it’s time that changes and it’s time Puerto Rico becomes the godfather of wrestling industry.

Daniel Azaria vs. Johnny Cross

- Johnny Cross is getting more and more confident in his matches and it seems like he has regained his touch that made him a multi-time SWA champion. A tilt-a-whirl neckbreaker and a straitjacket slam was evidence of that fact but

- Azaria also enjoyed the advantage of pace, his fast legs dodging Cross for most of the time and a running punt, almost handed Cross a defeat but he kicked out at the last moment.

- Cross employed a more cautious approach after that near escape trying to slow down the match and an attempt by Daniel Azaria to lock in the full nelson was thwarted when he dropped Azaria on his chin and the momentum carried him forward to knock the referee down.

- A CS2 by Cross was hit but as he was about to go for the pin, he was attacked from the behind by Alex Vidal. With referee out, Vidal smashed the empty diet coke can on Cross forehead drawing a gush of blood.

- Soon, the cavalry came in form of J C Squared and it was an all out brawl. With referee returning to his senses, he saw what was happening and rang the bell throwing out the match.

Result: Draw ( Referee stoppage)

Grade: 46

Titan Lynn vs. Alex Vidal

- The rough brawler Vidal had come into this match with full intent of leaving Titan broken and he fulfilled that when he countered every move of Titan with some hard punches and chops and the sound was gut wrenching every time he hit a open handed chop.

- Titan had fallen a long way down and the fact that he was an ex-champ was hard to believe seeing his current state.

- A Clash of the Titan attempt was foiled by Vidal and he choked him with his belt without referee seeing since he was distracted by Azaria on outside.

- A No More Pride(Piledriver) ended the match.

Winner: Alex Vidal

Grade: 30

Barry: The Icons have a firm grip on SWA at the moment. Cross is denied a victory and Lynn gets manhandled by Vidal. For all these years, we had worried about the Court but it seems these Puerto Ricans are a much more dangerous unit.

Gerry: Yes, I agree with you there. They are by far the most violent and smart group of SWA at the moment and this next match will determine whether The Icons keep their night unblemished or not. They have not lost so far.

Ares/Alvaro Buey III vs. King Edward/PLAYA

- Alvaro and PLAYA started the match. PLAYA was determined to make his mark on the match having seen his stablemates do the same earlier in the night so he was much more offensive than usual. His superkick to Alvaro which made him fall on the ground below made that crystal clear.

- Edward dodged Ares and tried sneak attacks but Ares was too smart for that and he cornered Edward. With nowhere to go, Edward tried for desperate attacks but Ares would have none of it and his short arm clothesline took care of Edward.

- Alvaro hit his Buey Bomb but miraculously PLAYA kicked out. A second attempt was foiled by Edward who had recovered now and hit a running bulldog on Alvaro. A Windsor Castle later, Edward started showboating.

- With Ares lurking, he grabbed the opportunity, hit a couple of belly to belly suplexes before his famed Ares-plex finished the match.

Winner: Ares/Alvaro Buey III (Ares via pinfall on King Edward)

Grade: 38

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Barry: Ares does it again. So, Alvaro fails to get the pin which means he has still not earned his second title shot.

Gerry: If only Edward would not have showboated in the middle. But someday or other, Ares will get what he deserves. But up next, the main event and we still don’t know the challenger.

TNT by AC/DC draws huge cheers from the crowd as Marcus Franklin makes one of his rare non-fight appearance.

http://i61.tinypic.com/wmky9f.jpg

Marcus: I am a man of few words and I rather let my talent do the talking and maybe that’s why I am still standing as champ before you and hopefully will do for long.

Another round of voracious applauses makes the arena deafening.

Marcus: And of course, you the fans who support us through thick and thin and egg us on everytime. Now, there is a reason for me coming tonight. My Ankle Lock has become something of a talking point and I have defeated quite a lot of people but I would like to throw the challenge to anybody who I have not faced yet. Anybody who would face me in a submission match for this baby (points at the title he is holding).

Kings by Run DMC blares through and the entire arena is surprised. Out comes Brady Taylor with a mic in his hand.

Brady: I am also man of few words Marcus and I just want to tell three words: You are on!!!

SWA Championship Submission Match: Marcus Franklin vs. Brady Taylor

- The surprise of getting Brady as an opponent caught Marcus off-guard and Brady took full advantage getting Marcus to the ground and slapping him across the face laughing at the humiliation.

- Some grounding and pounding later, Brady tried his first submission locking in a Boston Crab but Marcus forced a rope break.

- A big Olympic Slam from the top rope got Marcus back the advantage and he tried for his Ankle Lock but Brady was able to foil the attempt.

- An STO attempt by Brady Taylor was blocked and he was lifted for a powerbomb by Marcus.

- After getting his wind back, he once again tried for an Olympic Slam but was blocked. A similar attempt by Brady was also countered and these series of attempts and counter-attempts went on before a sudden DDT from Marcus gave him the edge.

- Finally, he locked in his Ankle Lock and Brady after surviving a whole lotta seconds, finally had to tap out.

Winner: Marcus Franklin (makes defense #2 of SWA Championship)

Welcome to a brand show with me Aron Jelter, where we talk about wrestling events in general and SWA in particular.

First off, the big announcement by Ares about two special shows added to the calendar of SWA, Meltdown and the Season Finale. Ever since Ares took the reigns of SWA in his hand, things have been going strong for them and the concept of stable wars has been an instant hit with the fans. The journey to Meltdown looks promising and we hope Ares brings out the best from the performers.

The next month's show will be special as it will be the first AWC Challenge month as JD Hogg, the next generation star of the Hogg family from BCW and freak guitarist, Johnny Axe from HCG make their presence felt.

http://i58.tinypic.com/dxmk9v.jpghttp://i58.tinypic.com/25rjlth.jpg

While we don't know the opponent for JD Hogg, Johnny Axe has called out SWA champ Marcus to defend his title against him or face a guitar bashed right in his face. Marcus has straightaway responded and the match is on.

Titan Lynn, the former champ has sled down to his lowest in 2015. After repeated losses, he is on the verge of his breaking point. Can anybody revive the sagging fortunes of the ex-champ?? Time will tell but he gets a respite as he is facing The Down-N-Out leader, Nadeau next month which on paper looks a easy one for Titan.

In other news, AWF falls to cult after tame performances in the month. Their immediate solution, handing the AWF World Title to Immortal Warrior on an episode of Shockwave from Garrett South.

And the biggest news to come from this month, our beloved "Dr. Texas", Terry Rapada has been inducted into the Hall of Immortals.

http://i60.tinypic.com/28synm1.jpg

The only person to hold the world titles in both UPJ and WWWE in his career, he has perhaps been the best evolved wrestler ever, from a decent technical wrestler in the 80's, to a wild brawler in the 90's to finally an awesome hardcore worker in the 2000's.

His career credentials:

4 X WWWE World Tag Team Championship

1 X WWWE World Championship

2 X UPJ International Tag Team Championship

2 X UPJ International Heavyweight Campionship

1 X SUX Xtreme Championship

4 X Lethal Unity of Blood Championship

2 X Lethal Chalice of Blood Championship

1 X GAW World Heavyweight Championship

1 X CWT United States Tag Team Championship

#151 in 2013 Power 500

So, here's wishing Mr. Rapada loads of happiness in days to come and signing off for next time, Aron Jelter.

SHOWDOWN 1.5: AWC CHALLENGE 1

Live from Club Peril, Idaho, North West (300)

Announce Team

http://i57.tinypic.com/epes8i.jpghttp://i58.tinypic.com/35ldk4n.jpg

Gerry Lofton - Barry Baugh

Barry: Welcome to SWA. We are back in our familiar surroundings for our 1st ever AWC Challenge month. Tonight we have two superstars from our fellow AWC promotions who have come to our den to challenge the finest.

Gerry: Also, don’t forget the packed schedule of our own as well as we have the scramble match for the #1 contender and a vicious TLC match for the tag titles.

Barry: Yes, but tonight we start our proceedings with tag action. Three teams duke it out for a shot at the tag titles and we have just got news that it is a no holds barred match which means anything goes.

No Holds Barred Tag Triple Threat: Dreamscape vs. J C Squared vs. Down-N-Out

- The two crazy dudes put on a show even before the match started spraying water through hoses to all the participants before stereo dropkicking Eric Matthews and Cyber out of the ring.

- A brawl started between JCS and Dreamscape as both Chung and Cuevas, being completely wet was livid and started delivering big hands.

- Cuevas was only looking to hurt and was not acting smart and this brought his downfall as after dispatching Down – N- Out with water spray in the eyes before dumping a wastebin, Frightening rushes in and cracks a beer bottle on Cuevas head and rushes out.

- With everybody out, a Scariest Move Ever from Scaremare on James Chung handed the match to the masked men.

Winner: Dreamscape

Grade: 31

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Gerry:Holy Cow!! What an opening we have for our night. Dreamscape wins it and gets a chance to fight for the tag titles.

Barry: Yes, that was some match we just witnessed but up next Titan gets another chance at redemption.

We get a look into the locker room of Down-N-Out where Clancey is speaking in a very angry tone

Clancey:Once again you come with your stinky faces after losing. When will you learn?? When will you take your destiny in your hands?? You want to become jobbers for your life?? You want to be remembered for counting the lights every time you are in the ring?? That’s the life you signed up for here?? Is that it??

Eric/Cyber (collectively): Huh

Clancey: Well, I will prove once again why I am the leader and show you the way out of this mess.

Grade: 25

Clancey Nadeau vs. Titan Lynn

- Titan tried hard to save his sinking ship and started with running kick to the forehead. But Clancey came back. The desire to prove himself as a leader ran strong in his veins and he absorbed whatever was dished out by Titan and returned it in equal measures.

- A Clash of the Titan attempt was blocked twice before it was countered with a beautiful swinging DDT.

- With Nadeau trying to get the crowd behind him and referee trying to hurry him up, Alvaro Buey emerged suddenly and executed a legdrop on the already grounded Titan.

- A Crash Landing ended the match in favor of Nadeau who did not knew the actual turn of events that happended.

Winner: Clancey Nadeau

Grade: 27

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Gerry: The path of Titan keeps getting worse. Once again The Icons meddle in the affairs of the former champ and hands him a defeat.

Barry: Clancey though manages to keep his word.

Gerry: Yes, and now ladies and gentlemen our 1st challenge match of the night and we have a next generation superstar from the Hogg family, representing BCW, J D Hogg.

A video montage plays on the screen depicting his exploits on BCW, especially his tag team championship reign with his brother, Virgil Hogg Jr.

Grade: 10

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

J D Hogg reaches the ring but before the crowd could settle, the familiar tune of Kings by Run DMC started playing and King Edward made his way into the ring.

http://i60.tinypic.com/4lmzuw.jpg

Edward: Welcome, welcome, welcome to SWA, Hogg although I fail to understand why are you not on farm getting ready to clear the municipal waste rather than in the wrestling ring??

The crowd boos loudly at this insult and Hogg himself is livid.

Edward: You should have stayed in the confines of your own home rather than coming down here and spreading illness you swine.

Hogg goes ballistic listening to the tirade of Edward.

Edward: But anyways, since you already have signed a death note, I will make your wish come true. So, the person who will send you on your happy sleep, and the newest member of my Court, the submission machine, Mark King.

Grade: 25

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

http://i58.tinypic.com/dxmk9v.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/2zzswty.jpghttp://i59.tinypic.com/2mzjfx1.jpg

J D Hogg vs. Mark King

- The crowd went silent having just digested the reveal of Mark King as the newest member of Court.

- Hogg tried his best to take King by surprise with his first strike which was a running dropkick and then a legdrop from apron, rolling thunder and a twisting neckbreaker to ignite the whole arena.

- But that was the only bit of offence Hogg would register as after recovering from that initial stress, Mark King systematically started dismantling, stretching him beyond limits before clubbing him on the back. A bear hug made Hogg tender before his patented STF made J D tap.

Winner: Mark King

Grade: 31

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Gerry: I still can’t believe my ears here. Mark King has made a deal with the king himself, King Edward. What on earth will the other groups do??

Barry: Yes, Gerry, that was completely out of the blue. The submission machine joins with the most hated group in the history of SWA. This will be a very interesting dynamic.

Gerry: Yes, but up next, the scramble match for #1 contendership. What a match this one will be.

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

http://i59.tinypic.com/29ymeft.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/2zzswty.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/4lmzuw.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/2zzswty.jpghttp://i58.tinypic.com/2hoa5cg.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/2zzswty.jpghttp://i61.tinypic.com/155lbif.jpg

#1 Contendership Scramble: Alvaro Buey III vs. King Edward vs. Johnny Cross vs. PLAYA

- Having executed a masterstroke, Edward wrestled this match with much more confidence than he had been in the last couple of months, clearing the house and even got the first pin, having lowblowed PLAYA before hitting his Windsor Castle quickly for the pin. (Edward: 1)

- Alvaro was not to be left behind and he hit a short drag clothesline to Edward before trying to do the same to Cross but Cross reversed and hit a clothesline of his own before picking him up in a fireman’s carry and depositing him on the turnbuckles, on rebound hits the CS2 for the pin. (Cross: 1)

- PLAYA having been on the receiving end of the 1st pin, tried his crazy tactics spitting on Alvaro, slapping Edward before trying to blindfold Cross but that was not successful and he blocked the attempt and countered it into a CS2 for his second pin. (Cross: 2)

- With the timer running down, Edward tried to catch up first hitting Alvaro with the Windsor Castle but he rolled out of the ring. Next, PLAYA tried his GANGSTA but Edward moved at the last moment and hit him with the Windsor Castle but Cross pulled him out just before Edward went for the pin attempt and the timer stopped signaling the end of the match.

Winner: Johnny Cross (2 pins)

Grade: 39

But his celebration was cut short as Edward signaled somebody to come from the back and Mark King ran down before hitting a big boot on Cross and then repeatedly kicking on him making blood gush out.

Grade: 25

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Barry: Cross gave Edward a taste of his own medicine when he dragged PLAYA out to prevent the pinfall and win the match but was brutally beaten by Mark King. He has surely made his mark today as the new member of the Court.

SWA Seattle Tag Championship TLC Match: The Icons vs. The Court

- The history between these two teams were evident once they took the ring. The chemistry between these four were crackling to watch.

- The double legdrop with ladders by Impact and Taylor early in the match made a dynamic start.

- The Icons came into their element when Alex Vidal delivered a top rope powerbomb to Taylor through 3 tables.

- A double con-chair-to to Impact rendered him ineffective for the rest of the match.

- The tussle between Taylor and Azaria led to both of them toppling from a ladder right into a bed of chairs seriously getting hurt.

- Alex Vidal was the only man left. So, he climbed the ladder and retained the titles.

Winner: The Icons (through Vidal’s belt retrieval) (makes defense #2 of Tag Titles)

Grade: 47

http://i57.tinypic.com/rw812w.jpg

Gerry: What a match!! This is what SWA is all about. But in the end, The Icons proved why they are the tag champs retaining their titles.

Barry: Now is the time for our main event. The metal freak, Johnny Axe takes on our champ, Marcus Franklin.

SWA Championship: Marcus Franklin vs. Johnny Axe

- Johnny Axe tried showboating completely ignoring our champ playing to the crowd, playing air guitars in the ring and giving a rock show like performance.

- Marcus tried to hold his patience but seeing Axe’s disinterest, he lost his mind and started hitting punches to the big man.

- An Olympic Slam later, Marcus went for his first pinfall attempt but Axe kicked out at 1.

- With both exchanging punches and kicks, it turned into a brawl and Marcus got an upperhand when he slammed Axe onto turnbuckles before he delivered another Olympic Slam.

- That’s when Vidal made his way from the back and tried hitting Marcus with his tag belt but Marcus ducked and he hit Axe instead.

- That’s when the referee called for the bell and announced Axe the winner by disqualification which shocked Marcus and made Vidal laugh as he went back.

Winner: Johnny Axe (by disqualification)

1. King Edward gets half a point for one successful pin.

2. Johnny Cross gets 3 point for his match: 0.5 point each for his two successful pins and 2 points for winning the match.

3. Alex Vidal gets half a point extra for retrieving the belt.

And our stable wars standing after May

http://i59.tinypic.com/33o1p1w.jpg

1. By virtue of including Mark King in their group, King's Court became has become the highest scoring group and also crossed the magic line of 10 points, going to 14.5 points.

2. The Icons became the second team to cross 10 points after this show.

It will be interesting to hear their decisions about how they will utilize their power.

Aron Jelter signing in once again to bring you all the scoop in the aftermath of the 1st ever AWC Challenge show.

http://i58.tinypic.com/25rjlth.jpg

Reports are coming out that Les Gotch had given creative control to Johnny Axe since they are good friends. And so, Axe refused to job to Marcus citing his creative control.

So, the head booker Ares had to change the ending. He was livid and post show and there was a big argument between Gotch and Ares.

http://i59.tinypic.com/2mzjfx1.jpghttp://i59.tinypic.com/11qpbup.jpg

http://i61.tinypic.com/2mw7y4g.jpghttp://i60.tinypic.com/4lmzuw.jpg

The shocking reaction that we saw in the crowd when Mark King was revealed as the newest member of Court is still fresh in our mind. This deal has benefitted both the members as it has made The Court much more powerful and Mark King has got an excellent support to move on top of the food chain.

And in the process, they became the 1st team to cross the 10 point barrier. Now, what will their decision be we still do not know yet but there is a hint it might be something to do with Johnny Cross contendership.

And in further news, the other group to cross the 10 points mark, The Icons have dropped a bombshell when they have announced a Fight to Survive match for Titan Lynn against Alvaro Buey III.

Which means that if Titan loses this match, his SWA career is over. What a big news.

So, until next time this is Aron Jelter and i am out of here.
