What's going on in your game?

94 game is shaping up nicely post Survivor Series.

The plan is to book Vader in the same vein as a modern day Brock Lesnar. He only debuted two months prior but I've already decided to give him the title. I have Undertaker set to win the Rumble without a doubt so that sets up Mania's main event, just no idea who I'll put over in that match as I want to give Vader a lengthy run.

I plan on creating a tag tournament to determine number one contenders for the tag titles. I feel even though it seems too soon as Cactus debuted at this event, I might give him and Funk the win and have them go over Diesel/HBK via botched interference, this can set up Diesel/HBK for Mania. Also thinking of having Diesel drop the IC title to either Ron Simmons (who will potentially debut The Nation) or Razor Ramon who comes back from rehab around Royal Rumble.

Other future plans are in the air right now but I'm gonna have Owen screw Bret out of a WWF Championship rematch, perhaps at the Royal Rumble as I want the two to finally end their feud in either a Submission or I Quit match at Wrestlemania. In the meantime I'm gonna have Owen have mini rivalries with tag 'partner' Jim Neidhart (before he leaves for WCW) and British Bulldog.

The way I'm headed definitely can't be as bad as the actual Wrestlemania 11.

From a quality standpoint its not the best show I've ever done, but from a buyrate and enjoyment of the storylines standpoint its the best ever.

Are you having any problems with the import or is it good to go?

Well I can say I'm having fun with it. Companies are closing down a bit quickly for my liking but it's a fun game.

<p>So I started a game with Fleisch's Real World Chronicles v3 and re-opened Pro Wrestling EVE (it's already open in v4). Six weeks into the game, I get into a, well, not really a bidding 'war', more like a bidding slapfight and when I win, I get:</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/Kension/pfft.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

For the uninitiated, Ashley Sebera is Dana Brooke and Kana is Asuka. The mod has Dana Brooke with actually decent in-ring skill and while I wasn't really interested in signing her, I definitely see that her skills make her a great tag team candidate. Kana though, oh boy, I've got huge plans for her. I can't put Triple Tails back together (Io is essentially locked up to a permanent written deal with Stardom using the XPPA + Loyalty mechanic) but I can create a new stable since I have several joshi babyfaces on the roster.</p><p> </p><p>

This should be fun, even if I am stuck in what is traditionally a black hole for wrestling (read: anywhere not US, Mexico, or Japan <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ).</p>

<p>Vader became the first JCP world heavyweight champion. He defeated Rick Martel (loan) in the title match at Clash of the champions 4. My own version of a 1985 Brock Lesnar push. </p><p> </p><p>

Only problem is lack of faces to challenge him since he went through a lot of them to get there. Thinking of bringing Stan Hansen in to have a long feud with Vader. Use my favorite sports entertainment finish before we finally get a winner. </p><p> </p><p>

Now the four horsemen have two world champions. The touring champion, Ric Flair and Vader with the big gold. The titles will be defended on different shows and I will maybe have the odd special show with both world titles being defended.</p>

She's got the skills in-ring and a neat name and a pretty neutral render and that's half the battle in SWF. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Or, Tamara McFly and use Self's Nightshade alt for her.<p> As far as Devil's Daughter goes, I don't know what the issue is with her. <p>Playing as TCW, I got tired of my main show being on the Pop Network which meant such a smaller viewerbase than SWF, so I signed a new deal with C.A.N.N. (yep, inter-network rivalry brewing) for a new show called Monday Night Revolution which will now act as my main TV show. That does mean booking three shows a week, four on a PPV week, but I've moved Total Wrestling down to 1 and a half hours a week to act as the secondary show (ala SmackDown) and Showcase will continue to act as the B-show for my young talent to get some ring time.</p><p> </p><p>

I originally signed Marat to a six month deal because he was on time decline and didn't know what to expect, which meant a bidding war when his contract came up this month. Didn't want to sign him for more than another 6 months which meant I lost him to NOTBPW. Luckily I'm the only National company right now so I'm safe on the national battle front. Unfortunately for Marat he lost two straight to Sammy Bach (World champion) and then was squashed by his replacement in Money Inc. (because what else would you call a Rich Money stable really), Gargantuan. I know Gargantuan's in-ring stats suck but a couple of months in menace angles and a few domination victories over local talents and hopefully his pop will rise to the point where he can properly act as Rich Money's muscle.</p><p> </p><p>

And I just got my first A-rated match with Sammy Bach beating Jay Chord in a TV main event. Looks like Chord might get that title program a little earlier than planned...</p>

I could be wrong but I think the primary benefit of a legendary gimmick is it takes much longer to go stale (if it ever goes stale). I generally don't let gimmick ratings (whether good or bad) change my plans. Heck, I have Beth Mercy using a Babe gimmick that worked originally but since women over 30 obviously grow more hideous by the day (at least until the 1.09 patch), her looks have plummeted to the point where it no longer suits her. I don't care (and I keep forgetting to edit her back up. Seriously, she lost 8 points of sex appeal in four months), I'll ride it out until I can change it.

First real surprise on my first ever JCP PPV. Kerry Von Erich is the new NWA world champion. I just couldn't push him so hard without this reward. Even though he has failed 4-5 drug tests, his matches rarely go below 78. Usually in the 80-82 range. 87 vs Flair, which was Flair's highest rating for me yet. He had 93 vs Harley on some other company show. Flair will get him back, of course. Flair vs Hogan is still the Starrcade plan. That will be my next PPV. I wont flog them with 12 ppvs a year. Clash of the champions are all on tv, etc.

Big angle earlier on in the PPV. Terry, Dory, Krusher, Ivan and Nikita beating up Hulk Hogan. Alliance to end Hulkamania 1985 edition. The Soviets said they had a plan earlier on in the night. Hulk Hogan was facing both Funks in a handicap brawl. Hogan pins Dory and then. Hogan is destroyed, Jack. Going to take his ego to the limit and have him face all 5 on the next show. haha Nah.

I did that Earl Hebner screwjob I was talking about. Arn and Tully are once again the tag team champions. This will help me introduce Paul Ellering. Road Warriors need somebody to look out for their interests so this doesn't happen again.

Dusty Rhodes is refusing to give Magnum TA a match. He likes to tease Magnum, but Magnum will just keep winning. He is remaining patient and cool, knowing that he will get Dusty. It is just a matter of when.

The under card

Jake Roberts put Ricky Steamboat out of action. Sound familiar? Now Steamboat is back and Jake is TV champion. Jake put Foley up against Steamboat first. Steamboat won and I had Foley take his first stunt bump. Thankfully, no injury. Ricky tried to help Mick up and he did. This resulted in Jake giving Mick a ddt later on in the show. Another lesson for Mick. They will have their tv title match at clash of the champions 5.

Not sure who the number one contenders will be for the tag team title. I want to keep Arn&Tully vs Road Warriors going, but their next match will be way into the future, so I need a team for now. Luckily enough, The Rockers were brought in a couple of months back. Yeah. Shawn is already carrying matches against the Fabulous One's. They've both risen to midcard and Rockers beat long Riders at the ppv. Looks like I've found my answer.

running plenty of those Fabulous One's hype videos. Get lucky.

Tommy Rich and Dynamite Kid. 3/4 months build to their jr heavy title match. I love this mod and I love being in this era. I pace myself better. I signed Owen Hart and Jushin Thunder Liger to bolster the division. Will Johnny Kidd reign supreme? I doubt it. Out injured for now.

Bret Hart and Scott Hall are having a simple feud. Scott says he is finished with Bret, he only had to give him one ic title match and Bret could not take the title. Yes, you guessed it. Sports entertainment finish. Bret accepts this, but Scott keeps interfering in his matches anyway. Do not keep poking the Hitman, Scott.

I like The Genius so much. Childhood memories of his poems. He is a good hand. Losing most of his matches by intentional count out. Not sure what this will lead to. More intentional count out losses, most likely.

So the first save I started when TEW 2016 was released was with NOTBPW and to say that not only is it still going but it’s going strong would be an understatement. This save might not be as good as my SWF save in TEW 2013 using the C-Verse 1997 Save but it’s been going pretty well and I am pleased with the results thus far. I’m currently on the first day of 2017 and I have held exactly 100 shows.

My current NOTBPW World Champion (I always change the Canadian Title over to the World Title based on personal preference) is Steve DeColt He has held the title since August 2016 and is the fourth holder of the title since the save began. I am planning on having Steve DeColt hold the title for a lengthy period of time.

My current NOTBPW Television Champion is Edd Stone, he has held the title since June of 2016 after defeating Cameron Vessey who managed 11 defenses of the title prior to losing it. Edd Stone has managed defenses of the title so far with no end in sight.

The current NOTBPW Tag Team Champions are the team of Tim Westybrook and Mighty Cavanaugh they won the titles in October 2016 after defeating former champions Ozzie Golden and Flash Savage. I wasn’t planning on having them win the titles originally but both guys momentum were in the toilet so I had to do something with them.

The current NOTBPW Women’s champion is Tamara McFly, she has held the title since September 2016 when she defeated former champion Kristabel Plum. McFly has managed four successful defenses of the title so far.

I managed to win two awards at the end of 2016, the first was for match of the year for a match that took place on an episode of Wrestling Showcase (my Monday night B show) the match was Steve DeColt defeating Shooter Sean Deeley to retain the NOTBPW World Championship. The match received a 100 rating which was completely unexpected on my end but welcomed at the same time.

The 2016 show of the year went to NOTBPW October Obliteration, which received a 94 rating. The main event of the show was a rematch from the 100 rated match between Sean Deeley and Steve DeColt in a 30 minute Iron Man Match for the NOTBPW World Title. The match got a 99 rating.

I have also gotten three 99 rated matches as well as a 96 rated event but sadly the 96 rated event was for a TV show but I’ll take it regardless.

In October 2016 I pillaged MAW and took Roderick Remus and Sam Keith along with the Mid Atlantic Championship. I immediately had Sam Keith defeat Roderick Remus for the title in order to set up a “Once In A Lifetime” match between Sam Keith and Steve DeColt in the Main Event Of Nirvana In November to unify the Mid Atlantic Championship and the NOTBPW World Titles. The match was a 30-minute iron man match and it received an 83 rating. Sam Keith was immediately retired after the match and is now being used as my primary Road Agent. I signed Greg Gauge and I plan on pushing him hard in the future.

New Signings: Wolf Hawkins, Rich Money, Black Eagle, Christian Price, Edd Stone, Greg Gauge, Jay Chord, Joey Poison, Rich Money, Ricky DeColt, Rocky Golden Roderick Remus (Acquired from the MAW buyout) Sam Keith (From the MAW buyout), Tommy London, Wolf Hawkins, Zeus Maxmillion

Released: Derek Frost, Gentleman Jim King, Mountie Mann

Can’t wait to see how far I can bring this save (I’m hoping to hang onto it for a bit being that it’s the first save that I started with TEW 2016 and because it’s going so well) and I hope that the year 2017 can top the year that was 2016 but time will tell as far as that goes.

Brought up Nakamura from developmental right away. I'm prepared to fast track him. Turned heel second Raw on Dean Ambrose, aligned with Paul Heyman, and won the MITB.

Also, Kevin Owens suffered a spinal cord injury during the MITB match. He's looking at nine months out of action with Sami Zayn given the blame.

Well damn. I picked up Edd Stone from TCW when he had a shattered knee while he still had 6 months or so of recovery time. Gave him surgery, it succeeded, and cut him down to a 46 day recovery time. When he's finally better, I put him in a feud as Davis Wayne's first real challenger for the Shooting Star title, and he immediately pops positive for pain killers. Now he's in rehab, and by the time I'll be able to use him again it'll be even longer than his original projected return from injury.

My love for this game is off-the-charts. Freestyle Angles are so huge to helping me write my vision and keep with the history. I've always enjoyed the series, started way back with EWR 2000 (or whatever it was)... Waned in the intro to TEW ERA but got back into it in 2010... Long story short... Booking a going home show prior to my last PPV before the Big One. One of my Main Eventers gets badly injured by a botch. Totally changes my story plans and I love that fact!

So after a few starts and stops with various promotions, I am finally finding a nice little groove with SWF. In the first National Battle, I came in first, followed by TCW and lastly USPW. Weirdly, it's the first time I've seen that no one dropped to Cult. Did Adam change the way battle damage is assigned in the last patch or am I missing something?

In my previous TCW save, I was ranked first on the National Battle chart and was consistently putting on better shows, yet somehow I came in last and was bumped down.

I think I am still struggling with understanding the Battle mechanics...
